DO THE PLEIADES = GOD’S HOST?
.
“Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades. or loose the bands of Orion?… Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?… or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?… Do you know the ordinances of Heaven?” Job 38:31-33
.
So what does the above verse mean, when it says, “Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades?…
.
Listen to this verse from Proverbs… “Stolen waters are sweet… But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her (the Adulterous Woman) guests are in the depths of Hell.” Proverbs 9:17, 18.
.
All through Scripture, this adulterous woman keeps popping up. Actually there are two women who constantly appear: one being an adulterous Woman and the other is the virtuous Woman. One woman symbolizes the apostate portion of the Church and the other woman, the faithful portion of God’s Church.
.
“Waters” in the Bible can symbolize God’s truth. So “stolen waters”, simply put…are the sins and lies of the Devil. So when Scripture says that “stolen waters are sweet”, it merely seems to be saying, that sin can taste really good. And the sweetness of sin, is very habit-forming and alluring, and exerts a strong influence on people. But the problem with sin is, that those who have been deceived by the Devil are spoken of as being in the depths of Hell…right here on Earth! And, all this is spoken of, here in Proverbs concerning this apostate woman, symbolizing the deceitfulness of sin, especially among God’s people.

BREAD OF DECEIT IS SWEET
.
“Bread of deceit is SWEET to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.” Proverbs 20:17. So the bread of deceit is sweet. And put this verse together with, “Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades?“, and a greater understanding of all this is achieved. Binding the sweet influences of the Pleiades most likely has to do with binding the sweet influences of sin, compared to bread, but also to sweet, stolen waters.

SIN IS SWEET TO THE TASTE
.
But the verse above from Proverbs says that the guests of the adulterous woman are in Hell.
.
Listen again…”Stolen waters are sweet… But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her (the wicked Woman) guests are in the depths of Hell.” Proverbs 9:17, 18.

So where is Hell? Well, as already discussed, this adulterous woman represents the apostate portion of God’s professed people. And where are the guests of the apostate portion of the Church? In the depths of Hell (spiritual darkness). Now of course, Hell can also be referring to the grave. The Hell in Hebrew is “Sheol”, and is often translated as “the grave”.

PAUL FINALLY REVEALS WHAT THESE TWO WOMEN REPRESENT
.
But let’s stop for a moment, and get further confirmation concerning these two women of 
Scripture.
.
The Bible makes it abundantly clear that women are quite often a symbol of the Church: and adulterous woman, symbolizing the Church-Apostate. And a virtuous woman, symbolizing the Church-Faithful. Paul makes the most incredible and bold comparison of Abraham’s wife, Sarah, and her handmaid, Hagar, to the Old and New Covenants! Paul really lays all out for us to see, comparing Sarah to the Church-Faithful, and Hagar to the Church-Apostate. Just listen carefully to the below passage…

“Which things (Sarah & Hagar) are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:24-26

CHURCH-FAITHFUL & CHURCH-UNFAITHFUL

This is the great recurring theme in Scripture: two women, a virtuous woman and an adulterous, whorish woman. This above passage from Galatians really nails down a great concept, namely this: that Scripture presents literal historical events which God orchestrated, in order to present a spiritual concept.

Paul has interpreted the story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar and their children as a picture of the Church, both the apostate portion and the True Worshippers of God.

SO WHERE IS HELL?
.
Okay, so back to the question of, “Where is Hell?”
.
Well, we do know that in the Old Testament, that “Hell” mostly referred to the grave. Okay, so Hell is the grave. Make no mistake about that! Hell, or “Sheol”, is translated “grave” in the Bible.
.
But, upon further examination of Scripture, we find that Hell is also a spiritual condition…right here on Earth! And those who have been deceived by the Devil are spoken of as being in the depths of Hell…right here on Earth!

HENRY SPEAKS OF “HELL UPON EARTH”
. 
Listen… “Stolen waters are sweet… But he (the deceived one) knows not that the dead are there; and that her (the Adulterous Woman) guests are in the depths of Hell.” Proverbs 9:17, 18.

Listen to Matthew Henry…“Her (the adulterous woman’s) guests, that are treated with those stolen waters, are not only in the highway to Hell and at the brink of it, but they are already in the depths of Hell, under the power of sin, led captive by Satan at his will, and ever and anon lashed by the terrors of their own consciences, which are a Hell upon earth. The depths of Satan are the depths of Hell. Remorseless sin is remediless ruin; it is the bottomless pit already.”

So here it is revealed that Henry acknowledged the existence of Hell, i.e., “the Bottomless Pit”, to be right here: a, “Hell upon earth”!

JONAH IN “THE BELLY OF HELL”
.
Listen to Jonah’s prayer in the belly of that great fish… “Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly, And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and He heard me; out of the belly of Hell cried I, and Thou heardest my voice.” Jonah 21:1-3.

But Jonah wasn’t dead! He was in the belly of that fish.
.
So how do we reconcile this seeming impossible contradiction? Simple. Jonah’s predicament was a picture of his “Apostasy”…his spiritual darkness. And Jonah said, “Thou hadst cast me into the deep, in the midst of the seas; and the floods compassed me about: all Thy billows and Thy waves passed over me.” Jonah 2:3.

Yes, the story of Jonah is the story of the apostate people of God, who decide to set aside their great commission to warn the world to flee from the wrath of God. And like Jonah, they instead try to go after the selfish things of the world, symbolized by Jonah going to Joppa, a large commercial seaport at that time.

HELL CAN BE SPIRITUAL DARKNESS
.
From other Scriptures, it is evident that “seas” in the Bible 
represents “peoples, multitudes, and nations” (see Revelation 17:15).
.
Jonah had fled from the Lord, and his being swallowed by that great fish was a picture of spiritual darkness: Satan’s prison-house of sin. And because Jonah fled from God’s commandment to go and preach to Nineveh, Jonah lost his connection with God. Jonah was now in spiritual darkness, right here on Earth.
.
And haven’t many of us have been there? Yes, many of us have cried out to God for deliverance from the hard bondage of sin and Satan.

SORROWS OF HELL!
.
“The sorrows of Hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;” 2nd Samuel 22:6
.
The above verse is a Psalm of David, as he laments his horrible condition. David mourns because the sorrows of Hell compassed about him. But David was alive and on Earth when he made this bitter complaint! How could this be? He hadn’t yet died!
.
Now as said already, Hell is ultimately the grave. But Hell is also spiritual darkness. God makes clear that Hell has degrees: just listen… “For a fire is kindled in mine anger, and shall burn unto the LOWEST HELL, and shall consume the earth with her increase, and set on fire the foundations of the mountains.” Deuteronomy 32:22.

And of course the people and nations of this world are in spiritual darkness, for the most part. And the people of this world are in the similar darkness that Satan and his angels are in. This is the same darkness in which the angels were cast into, after they rebelled against God.

Listen… “For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to Hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;” 2nd Peter 2:4.

ANGELS CAST DOWN TO EARTH
.
Okay, so the angels that sinned are in Hell. But where is that Hell?
.
Listen… “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:9.
.
So by using the Biblical method of “line upon line, and precept upon precept” Isaiah 28, it is now seen that the Hell spoken of is the “chains of darkness” on this very Earth!

CHILDREN OF HELL
.
Now are there humans also in these “Chains of Darkness of Hell”? Oh yes!

Listen… “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of Hell than yourselves.” Matthew 23:15.
.
So here we see that the doctrines of the scribes and Pharisees would make one of their converts into a child of Hell. And likewise the scribes and Pharisees were themselves called here, by Jesus, Children of Hell. And when a person is in spiritual darkness, he or she is now held prisoner by Satan. That person is held captive in those spiritual chains. Satan and his angels have bound the whole world in this spiritual prison-house.

Listen to the Gospel of John… “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19.

So it reveals here that the people of this world are in spiritual darkness, and in the Devil’s prison-house…right here on earth!

SATAN’S PRISON…RIGHT HERE ON EARTH!!

Here is one more passage which reveals that Satan’s prison-house is right here and right now… “And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2nd Timothy 2:24-26.
.
So this passage tells us that unbelievers and apostate Christians have been taken captive by the Devil at his, the Devil’s will. Have you ever noticed that when it comes to warning people about the wrath to come, that it is usually like talking to the wall? It’s as if they are not hearing you. That is because they cannot hear you. Oh yes, they hear your words. But they are prisoners of Satan. They are held in chains of darkness.

Just listen… “But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” 2nd Corinthians 4:3, 4

“CAPTIVE SILLY WOMEN”
.
“For of this sort are they (evil men) which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 2nd Timothy 3:6, 7
.
What in the world could this above passage from Paul’s writing to Timothy be all about? Who are these silly women laden with sins? And are these women so silly that they allow strangers to creep into their houses? And why are they ever-learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth?
.
Very strange, wouldn’t you agree? But this is written in allegorical language! This cannot be speaking literally! It’s speaking of churches, and not literal women. And the ones leading them captive are those false shepherds who creep in and take control of the House of God!

WHO’S CREEPING INTO HOUSES?
.
Now first of all, just who are these sinful men who creep into these houses occupied by silly women (apostate churches)?
.
Listen to the first part of our signature passage for today… “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers…highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:2, 5
.
This abbreviated description speaks of those who are steeped in all the garden-variety of sins which humanity shares in common. These are the ones leading, “captive, silly women, laden with sins, ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of truth”!
.
This is speaking of churches, not literal women. And Satan’s minions are leading churches away from the purity and holiness of Christ, and into world-loving doctrines!

DELIVERANCE TO THE CAPTIVES
.
Listen to the words of the Lord Jesus… “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, TO PREACH DELIVERANCE TO THE CAPTIVES, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Matthew 4:18, 19.

Yes, Jesus came to this Earth to set us free from the Devil’s prison-house of sin and selfishness. And just listen to the Psalmist, as he mourns for the freedom from sin’s bondage…
.
“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise Thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for Thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7
.

So this section has briefly laid out the concept, that the people of this world (and of the worldly Church) are in darkness: the spiritual darkness of Satan’s prison-house. But is there any further proof that we are on the right track concerning this Dragon’s tail representing people?

TO DEPART FROM HELL BENEATH
.
“The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from Hell beneath.” Proverbs 15:24
.
When a person becomes “born again”, he realizes that he has been living all his life in this, the Devil’s world. And so, with this fearful knowledge, he then begins a spiritual sojourn, so to speak. That is, the Believer becomes a pilgrim, seeking a better country, even an heavenly country. And in essence, this above verse from Proverbs is fulfilled, as the Christian pilgrim begins that journey on the upward pathway to that Heavenly City. No, the Christian does not physically leave the world. But rather, he departs from the wickedness, and selfishness which he once loved. Yes, the Christian has now departed from Satan’s kingdom of darkness: Hell.

WHAT DID HENRY SAY?
.
Matthew Henry, when commenting on this particular verse (“The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from Hell beneath.” Proverbs 15:24), made this following revealing statement…
.
“A good man sets his affections on things above, and deals in those things. His conversation (lifestyle) is in Heaven; his way leads directly thither; there his treasure is, above, out of the reach of enemies, above the changes of this lower world.”
.
So, from this comment, it can be concluded that Henry likewise saw that this proverb was speaking of this evil world as the “Hell below”, from which a Christian pilgrim must depart from.

WHY THE “GOODLY HORSE” CONSTELLATION?…
.
AND WHY IS HE STOMPING THE DRAGON’S TAIL?
.
Before we discuss the Horse, we might want to introduce all four participants in the Winter Constellation Group. If you look in the winter skies, you just might locate these four constellations. They are a dramatic heavenly portrait of the great battle between good and evil. Here are the players in this grand drama, written in the starry night skies…
1. Christ (Orion),

2. the Devil (the Dragon Constellation), and
.
3. God’s Army (the Horse)…and
.
4. God’s people (symbolized by the Woman Constellation, commonly known as Ursa Major).

JEZEBEL STOMPED BY HORSES
.
There is an account in 2nd Kings about the day when Jehu destroyed idolatry out of Israel. After killing the prophets of Baal, he went after Jezebel. She was in her palace, until she was thrown down and trampled by Jehu’s horse…

“And he said, Throw her (Jezebel) down. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he (Jehu) trode her under foot.” 2nd Kings 9:33
.
JEHU KILLING JEZEBEL…
.
Just picture Jehu on his horse, trampling this symbol of the apostate church (Jezebel) under his horse’s feet. So here the trampling of Jezebel (who is Satan’s agent to bring apostasy into God’s kingdom.) is a picture of the destruction of Satan’s kingdom. So putting these concepts together, the tail is spoken of as false prophets among God’s people. So Jezebel, is called a false prophetess in Revelation, Ch. 2:20
.
And Jehu’s horse trampling Jezebel under his feet; and this Goodly Horse Constellation trampling the tail of the Dragon Constellation; these are both one picture; a picture of God’s Army destroying Satan’s Army (“Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.” Psalm 91:13).

JEZEBEL OF THE NEW TESTAMENT…

“Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols…” Revelation 2:20-23.
.
Here we have Jezebel spoken of in the New Testament! Incredible? Oh yes! Here God is using her as the symbol of “Apostate Teachings” which were already entering into the early Church at the time of the finishing of the Bible. Jezebel represented the spirit of apostasy, which of course was Satanic forces moving in among God’s people. Unconverted men and women who were in-dwelt by the spirit of Antichrist (“…this is that [spirit] of antichrist…now already is it in the world…They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” 1st John 4:3, 5).

ANTICHRIST IS US!
.
As this above passage says, Antichrists are, in the simplest terms…world-loving people!
.
Scripture tells us… “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2.
.
This is the condition of the people of this fallen world. The Antichrist spirit dwells within the hearts of fallen Mankind.
.
But “God is love” 1st John 4:8. His desire is that… “all should come to repentance…” 2nd Peter 3:9.
.
And so this Goodly Horse is intently gazing upon the Pleiades as though this cluster of stars was very valuable. So too, God’s people are intensely jealous to evangelize the world…to bring back those who have been “taken captive by him (the Devil) at his will” 2nd Timothy 2:26
.

BUT WHAT DOES THE DRAGON’S TAIL SYMBOLIZE?
.
HORSE TRAMPLES TAIL BUT GAZES AT THE TIP… The puzzling thing about all this is that the Horse Constellation is not trampling the Pleiades. Rather, the Horse Constellation seems to be glaring at the Pleiades while he’s trampling the lower part of the Dragon’s tail. It’s almost as if the Glorious Horse is trying to rescue the Pleiades. Perhaps the Pleiades represents the portion of God’s people who have been taken captive by Satan. Perhaps the Pleiades represents those who have been deceived by Satan’s lies. Listen to what God states in 2 Timothy…
.

THOSE TAKEN CAPTIVE BY SATAN…
.
We see from the above verse that God’s people are to gently and meekly encourage those who have fallen away, to return to the Lord. Just look how this Captive Angel seems to be slowly and sadly descending down this pathway to destruction. Those who began in the truth, but who are still living for the world, are now in error. Apostate Christians do not realize they are on the road to ruin.

Listen…“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17
.
They may still faithfully attend a local congregation. They may even hold various church offices. They may be respected members of the community. But their hearts have been entangled in worldly pursuits and earthly pleasures. And slowly they have become prisoners of Satan, locked into his Babylonish-counterfeit-Christianity.

“THEY (ANTICHRISTS) ARE OF THE WORLD”
.
And so, their prison-warden, Satan, has used them as “pawns” in his game of seduction of others within the Church. Their world-loving lives, and perhaps even their unholy words, were a seduction to others. Without realizing it, they became weapons in the Devil’s arsenal. Though they still attended church, Satan did more damage with them in the Church, than out!
.
So then, when the Bible speaks of “False Prophets”, it is speaking of any church member who was not a True-Worshipper of God. Listen to Jesus…“He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30. So we see here that there were no “fence-sitters” in this world or even in the Church! If we were not abiding in Christ, then we were the enemies of God.

Listen… “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” James 4:4.
.
So those who still loved the pleasures and pursuits of this world were the enemies of God. And this passage from James is speaking to Christians! Christ is calling us adulterers and adulteresses!

SWEET INFLUENCES = FALSE TEACHINGS?…
.
To “bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades” only makes sense if we see this constellation as the Dragon’s tail. “The prophet that speaks lies, he is the tail” Isaiah 9:15.
.
And so we begin to understand that to “bind the sweet influences” probably means to bind the sweet influences of the false teachings of the false teachers: those “stolen waters” as was earlier
mentioned. The wine of that great whore of Revelation, “Mystery Babylon, The Mother of Harlots”.

MANY METAPHORS SAY SAME THING
.
So all these Bible metaphors are painting the same portrait. And likewise, this Heavenly Story also agrees with the Bible concerning the Lost Ones who have been taken captive by Satan. But even though these people have been taken captive by Satan, God still wants His elect to strive to regain those who have gone astray. With great patience and tenderness, and lots of prayer.

THE TWO SISTERS OF EZEKIEL

“The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying, Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother: And they committed whoredoms in Egypt; they committed whoredoms in their youth: there were their breasts pressed, and there they bruised the teats of their virginity. And the names of them were Aholah the elder, and Aholibah her sister: and they were mine, and they bare sons and daughters. Thus were their names; Samaria is Aholah, and Jerusalem Aholibah.” Ezekiel 23:1-4

This story from Ezekiel has had a very great message for God’s people. This story likewise speaks of this Pleiades Constellation. Samaria seems to represent those who claim to have a relationship with God, but simply do not. Jerusalem seems to represent those who are like the Captive Angel, and have a minuscule love for God, but have been carried away captive. God is more upset with Jerusalem (Aholibah), because she should have known better than her totally apostate sister (Aholah)

THE BOOK OF HABAKKUK

Now here in the Book of Habakkuk, God really puts an exclamation mark on this concept: the concept that sin is such a sweet influence which captivates and allures Christians.

Listen… “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4.

This verse is the foundational verse for the Book of Habakkuk. And likewise, this verse is one of the foundational building blocks for the entire Bible. God’s people are corrupted by evil influences around them. Either within the Church or within society: evil is very captivating; and evil is a very sweet and overpowering influence.

Listen to the wisdom of Solomon… “Stolen waters are sweet, and bread eaten in secret is pleasant.”Proverbs 9:17
.
Thus the verse, “Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades?” Job 38:31, begins to become clear as to its true meaning.

WHY SO MUCH KILLING IN OLD TESTAMENT?

And this verse from Habakkuk, “for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth”, when properly understood, explains so much of the Old Testament killing. It’s not that God loves to kill people, or that He wants Christians to kill people. But those stories, while true historical accounts, were nevertheless, orchestrated by God to present spiritual lessons. Over and over and over again, God tried to get His people to separate themselves from evil influences.

OLD TESTAMENT WAS WARNING FOR US!
.
And those battles were merely God’s way of letting us know just how important it is to keep ourselves separate from evil influences. And no, we cannot come out of the world, but the wonderful truth is, we can come a good way out!
.
Just listen to Paul, as he picks up on this theme of separation… “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?…Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 1st Corinthians 6:14, 17, 18.

Notice in this passage that God declares that coming out from among unbelievers and being separate is pre-requisite to God being a Father to us. Of course, coming out from among them, is an action which begins in the heart, when a person becomes “born again”. But though it begins in the heart, it begins to manifest itself in the life of a true-worshipper, as time goes by.

THESE THINGS WERE WRITTEN FOR US

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1st Corinthians 10:11

But while we’re on the subject of Habakkuk and Old Testament prophecies, let’s discuss for a moment these Old Testament prophecies, and how they relate to us today. The above verse tells us that the Old Testament stories are very relevant today!

Now there is a very wrong idea in much of Christendom, that all these Old Testament stories have little to do with us today. Actually, they have more to do with us today than they did for the Old Testament portion of the Church. The Old Testament Church for the most part, didn’t even bother reading these things, even losing these Scriptures for hundreds of years (see 2nd Chronicles 34:14-33).

The fact is, the entire Bible is profitable for us. Listen… “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” 2nd Tim. 3:16, 17.

Notice that it says “ALL SCRIPTURE” is profitable: “profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, and for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

“CLASSICAL PROPHECIES” NOT FOUND IN SCRIPTURES
.
Not only this, but theologians have coined an unbiblical name, “classical prophecies” to speak of Old Testament prophecies which were fulfilled and no longer have any future fulfillment. But this is a very wrong and destructive idea. Many of these Old Testament prophecies will have a dramatic re-fulfillment in these last days! So this term, “classical prophecies” deceives Christians into thinking that these Old Testament prophecies have little relevance today. And here is one more reason why it is so dangerous to add names to the Bible which God has not given. God never once uses the name, “classical prophecies”. This is completely a man-made term.

“NOT TO ADD NOR TO DIMINISH OUGHT!”

So those who invent such unbiblical jargon, may be guilty of adding to God’s Word…“For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto 
him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” Revelation 22:18, 19.

Well, this is a mighty strong warning. And this is one of the very closing remarks of the entire Bible! Do you imagine that God thinks this is an important enough warning, so as to close the entire Bible on these verses? You see, it was a very important part of the apostasy in the churches in the 20th Century, to add these unbiblical names, which the Bible has not named. And the theologians were not even aware that they are adding to God’s Word by inventing such unbiblical names. But you can see from this example, just how destructive it is, to add a name to things, that God hasn’t named.

LESSON STILL NOT LEARNED
.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 1st Corinthians 6: 18.

But now let’s get back to the subject of separating ourselves from evil influences.

So thousands of years later, the people of God still have not learned the importance of keeping ourselves separate from evil influences, even though both the Old and New Testaments continually pounded and pounded upon this idea. And we looked at those “stupid ” people in the Old Testament, and prided ourselves that we were doing so much better than they. But the fact is, God held us to a much higher standard, because we had the entire Bible as a warning. And even having the Bible, Christians for the most part, were allowing ourselves to become corrupted by evil communications; in the Church and out!

Listen… “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33.

“YOU CANNOT SERVE GOD & MAMMON”

Today’s idols and gods are no longer mere statues. No, today’s idols and gods are such things as television, radio, Internet, pleasure parties, joking and jesting, time-consuming amusements, clubs, hobbies, careers, money-getting, gratuitous spending, luxurious lifestyles, sports, lavish resorts, and a host of other evil influences.

And these idols and gods have corrupted not only Christians, but also the very churches themselves, to the degree that Satan had us now in a spiritual condition which God calls “Mystery Babylon, the Mother of Harlots”.

“THEY WHICH LEAD THEE THAT CAUSE THEE TO ERR”
.
We were so deceived by ungodly elements in the Church, that to a great extent, we thought being Christ-like means being friendly and outgoing; or perhaps having a good sense of humor; or being very energetic and prosperous!

We had traded holiness and reverence for giddiness and back-slapping humor. We had sold out the self-sacrificing Savior for a world-loving religion. We no longer understood the meaning of holiness.
.
“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!” Matthew 23:37.
.
Jesus spoke these words as He sat upon the mount overlooking Jerusalem. But these words also apply to us today. Oh no, we do not literally kill prophets, as did ancient Israel. But we mock & deride those who try to warn us of these things.

OUR HIGH AND HOLY CALLING
.
Oh yes, the Bible was still being read from the pulpit. But we had lost sight, to a great degree, of our high and holy calling. We bowed our heads for an hour a week, and then resumed our sports, banquetings and worldly chatter, etc., the moment we hit the pavement.
.
Just listen to Peter’s warning, for those who are living on the brink of Armageddon… “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?” 2nd Peter 3:11, 12.

Peter here warns Christians to walk in holiness and reverence, having a healthy fear of God. And so, seeing that all these things shall be dissolved, let every Christian plead with God to remove all dross out of his or her life, so that they may be purified as silver and gold is purified.

RECHABITES RECEIVE GOD’S BLESSING
.
We Christians quite often mock & deride those who are of separated Christian denominations because of their peculiar dress and lifestyles.
.
And yes, Satan has stirred up much trouble within those groups. But at least they tried! At least they made an attempt at separation! And there will no doubt be many of them honored in Heaven, for their faithfulness to God’s warning to separate.
.
In the Book of Jeremiah, there is a little story about the Rechabites, whom God commended because they, not only stayed away from wine, but also because they lived outside of society, in tents, in obedience to the commandment of their ancestor, Jonadab.
.
Listen… “Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he hath charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters; Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed: But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.” Jeremiah 35:8-10.

This separated life which the Rechabites followed in obedience to their fore-father, Jonadab, was so lauded by God (through Jeremiah), that to this very day, the Rechabites still exist as a people. They are perhaps, the oldest existing family in history, going back thousands of years.

Listen… “And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he hath commanded you: Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before Me for ever.” Jeremiah 35:18, 19.

(Now this has great spiritual ramifications concerning we New Testament Believers. But that discussion must be for later.)
.
But the sons of Jonadab did not separate because they felt holier than others. No, they separated so as to not be dragged into the sins of the heathen and the apostate Church. Yes, the Rechabites were given a command by their ancestor, Jonadab, that the sinful ways of these city-dwellers has a very corrupting influence.
.
But the big point to this is: we today, can learn a wonderful lesson from these sons of Jonadab. To abstain from wine (both literally and spiritually) and to shun the fellowship with unbelievers and all their vain amusements is a very good starting-point for the new Christian.
.
Listen again… “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean [thing]; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 1st Corinthians 6:17, 18.

BABYLON CAME TO US!
.
“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen… And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Rev. 18:1, 4
.
This above passage is the great message which goes out (and has been going out) to God’s people. “Come out of Babylon, My people”. Well, if we are called to come out of Babylon, just how did we get into Babylon in the first place?
.
No, we haven’t been shackled and taken into some foreign country called Babylon. But by our ignoring God’s warnings, we have allowed Satan’s kingdom to envelop us and encompass us to the point that we and our children are now being swallowed up by the deadly and overpowering mind-control which has become the standard in today’s world. We do not comprehend just how dark is the world around us! And the corrupting influences of this decadent society have seeped into the Church to the point that we are now being flooded with the worldly philosophies and earthy music and frivolities. We have bought into the lie that we must encourage our children to seek for the very same riches and materialism which long ago destroyed that wicked city, “Sodom”, and is now just about to destroy us.

“THEY FORSOOK ALL AND FOLLOWED HIM”
Luke 5:11

Instead of encouraging a lucrative career, we should be encouraging our children to guard against excess; and instead of encouraging them to go to some worldly institute for four years or more, we should have encouraged them to strive to keep far away from the decadent pleasures and ambitious pursuits of this world; and instead become full-time Disciples and Followers of Jesus.

One young adult who has determined to live a simple life, and hold a simple job, so to more effectively devote his or her self to the service of God, will accomplish more for Heaven, than ninety-nine, who have unnecessarily entangled themselves into a complicated and time-consuming career.

GOD’S PEOPLE TAKEN CAPTIVE
.
“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
.
God has a people in Babylon. Yes, Mystery Babylon is the Mother of Harlots. The sketch to the left shows her riding this beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.
.
But in that spiritual city, there are those who still love God to a certain degree. And before the final plagues are poured out upon her, God has been and will continue to call His people out of her… “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
.
And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction. They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!

LET’S BE LIKE THAT “GOODLY HORSE”
.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness [in the heavenlies].” Ephesians 6:12
.
So as this above verse states, the enemy is not humans (flesh and blood). The real enemy are the unseen spiritual forces that are orchestrating this battle between good and evil. Satan’s host. Humans have been deceived. They have been taken captive by Satan. We are to reach out to them.
.
We are to plead for them… “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2nd Timothy 2:25, 26.
.
And so as this photo to the left shows Christians witnessing in a local mall, so we all are to be tenderly witnessing to the lost (within the Church and out in the world) to bring them back into a right relationship with Jesus Christ.

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”
.
The bottom line to all this, is to come out of Babylon. But many are asking the question, “Just how do I come out of Babylon?” Well, the answer to this question is actually very simple. The Bible is the pure Word of Truth. And for those who have been deceived by false teachings and names and doctrines which have been added to God’s Word, we need to make an exodus out of this false system. We must return to Christ and Christ alone. We must reject the false dogmas, such as the teachings that we must be “back-slapping, giddy and worldly” Christians in order to bring others into the Church. We must “put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ” in all His holiness and reverence.

And the words of James has a special significance for Christians today… “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God…Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.” James 4:4, 8-10.

This entire Book of James is devoted to enlightening today’s Church, just how worldly we’ve become. We must strive with all our heart, soul, strength and mind, to become changed into the image of Christ. And seeing that we are now entering into the final crisis, there must be no delay.

A HEAVENLY HOBBY

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

ANOTHER HEAVENLY HOBBY: PRAYER-WALKS

Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!

It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!

(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.

Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)

THRICE-DAILY PRAYERS
.
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.

But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
