The Bible is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, given by God. It reveals the war between Heaven and the forces of evil of this world.

These forces of evil include both an invisible army of evil angels, as well as the visible army of antichrists: the unsaved multitudes around the world. And these two armies are led by Lucifer, now given the title of “Satan”, as well as “The Devil”.

But the title of this article is “Where Will Lucifer Spend Eternity?” And so, in the name of brevity, let’s just get to this question.

Now, the Church-world, for the most part, has taught that the Devil (along with every person who died unsaved throughout history) will be endlessly tormented in some netherworld dungeon throughout eternity-future!

And by a careless reading of the Bible, theologians have come up with this church-doctrine, based on some Bible verses which seem to confirm this idea.

And yet, because the apostate church which existed during the Dark Ages of Europe did not compare everything concerning the true nature of Hell, they only took a select number of the verses which appear to confirm this idea of “Eternal Torment”.

But what about Lucifer? After all, Revelation 20:10 explicitly says…”And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.”

So how could anybody get the idea that Lucifer will suffer anything less than endless torment!?

And let’s face it! This verse (Revelation 20:10) is always included as a further proof-text of the church-doctrine, “Eternal Torment”.

But just as theologians of the Dark Ages ignored all the Bible passages which speak of Hell as either this fallen world, or as the grave/death, so also they ignored (and still do) what Ezekiel has to say about Lucifer…“Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth…15Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee…17Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee…19All…the people shall be astonished at thee…and never shalt thou be any more.” Ezekiel 28:14, 15, 17, 19 (Entire passage condensed for brevity and clarity)

So here it is revealed that this evil one who once was given the office “the anointed cherub which covers” will be exposed before all the world, “and never shall you be any more!”

So it seems that the Bible contradicts itself! In Revelation 20:10, the Devil will be tormented day and night for ever and ever”. But in Ezekiel 28
