Psalm 146:9

It only takes a mere glance at the world to realize that we are in serious trouble!

.

Everything here seems to have gone topsy-turvy!

*From the pandemic rise of Sodomy…

*To our decaying learning institutions…

*To our politically weaponized judicial system… 

*To the attempt at globalization by certain Middle East religious/political groups…

*To the bitter wars between the Political Left and Right…

*To the growing hostility and even the wholesale slaughter of Christians and Jews…

*To our suicidal economic policies by the national government…

*To the declining morals…

*To the senseless and bizarre murder accounts each day…

*To the rapidly increasing crime rate…

*To the great apostasy of the church-world!

.

These and other signs of decadence and destruction of societal norms and institutions, which, just a few years ago, were the very societal pillars we thought to be as solid as the ‘Rock of Gibraltar’!

GOD’S CUP OF FURY FOR THE WORLD!

Now our signature passage from Jeremiah seems to speak of the apparent judgments which are now falling all around us…

.

Listen…“For thus saith the LORD God of Israel unto me (Jeremiah);

Take the wine cup of this fury at My hand,

and cause all the nations, to whom I send thee, to drink it.

And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad,

because of the sword that I will send among them…

for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth,

saith the LORD of hosts.”

Jeremiah 25:15, 16

It seems as though we are now beginning to drink of Jeremiah’s cup of God’s fury!

NEVER THIS HORRIFIC!

.

Now of course, the skeptics will always try to convince us that these abominations have always been around…“Oh well, there’s always been wickedness in the world”, they confidently proclaim!

.

But that is simply not true!

.

Oh yes, there has always been crime. But never to the current degree!

.

And how about dishonesty and lying?!

.

And never to the current world-wide dimensions!

.

After all, there has never been a world-wide Jihad!

.

Nor has there ever been a world-wide sanction, promotion, and embracing of sodomy!

.

Nor the ability to prevent all buying and selling!

.

So just what are we to do?

How can we stop what’s going on?

Or, at the very least how might we escape all this?

NO HOPE FOR THE WORLD!

.

Well, short of a world-wide repentance, there’s nothing we can do to stop all this, although there may be a concerted effort to try.

.

But the Bible speaks of this fateful Day which now seems to be growing!

.

Listen…“Come, My people,

enter thou into thy chambers,

and shut thy doors about thee:

hide thyself as it were for a little moment,

until the indignation be overpast.

For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place

to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity:

the earth also shall disclose her blood,

and shall no more cover her slain.”

Isaiah 26:20, 21

.

Yes, here is the command to hide ourselves from the impending judgments which are now already beginning to fall all around us!

.

RUN CHRISTIAN, RUN!!!

.

And so, it’s now the time for Christians to flee!

.

Spiritual Jerusalem is now surrounded by armies.

.

But the world is also surrounded by armies…both visible and invisible!

.

And while we cannot come completely out of the world, we can indeed, come a good way out, if we so-choose.

.

We can turn off all the worldly chatter and cut off the worldly associations.

.

We can put away our earthly pleasures and worthless treasures. 

.

And instead of corrupting the sanctuary of our heart, we can fill our minds with the life-giving Word of Christ!

.

We can sing scripture songs and listen to celestial choirs!

.

And we can turn our little corner of the world into a little corner of Heaven, if we want to!

.

SAFE AND SECURE IN OUR HIDING PLACE!

.

Yes, we can flee to the holy mountains of God! We can make God our refuge and hiding place!

.

And by so-doing, we have the promise that…

“A thousand shall fall at thy side,

and ten thousand at thy right hand;

but it shall not come nigh thee.

Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold

and see the reward of the wicked.”

Psalm 91:7, 8

A GREAT & MARVELOUS SIGN IN HEAVEN

.

So how does this brightest and most well-known constellation relate to the Book of Revelation?

.

After all, the Book of Revelation seems to be closely intertwined with the stars of heaven.

.

And Revelation Ch. 15 is just one of those places in which Revelation speaks of the Signs Of Heaven. “And I saw another sign in heaven…” Revelation 15:1.

.

God here, is dropping this great big clue on us, as to just what the signs in Heaven are all about…

“And I saw another sign in heaven,

great and marvellous,

seven angels having the seven last plagues;

for in them is filled up the wrath of God.”

Revelation 15:1.

.

This verse speaks of a “another sign in heaven, great and marvellous”.

.

Okay, so if this prophecy of “seven angels having the seven last plagues” is a sign in heaven, then one would have to go back to Chapter 12 to find the other signs in heaven.

.

And together, these signs from chapters, 12 & 15 make up a great portion of this website, Signs Of Heaven.
