“Habakkuk Says “RUN!”

.

Part 23:

“Rejoicing as a Strong Man to Run a Race”

“The heavens declare the glory of God;

.

and the firmament sheweth His handywork.

Day unto day uttereth speech,

.

and night unto night sheweth knowledge…

In them hath He set a tabernacle for the sun,

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,

and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.”

This above passage reveals that “The Heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament shows His handiwork”.

.

“DAY UNTO DAY…”

But our opening verse also speaks on this wise…

“Day unto day uttereth speech,
.

and night unto night sheweth knowledge…

.

In them (in the heavens) hath He (God) set a tabernacle for the sun,

.

Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,

.

and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.”

Psalm 19: 2, 4, 5 

.

Notice that God speaks of the sun as “a bridegroom”, and that this bridegroom “rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.”

.

So, just what is all this speaking of?

“I (Paul) therefore so run, not as uncertainly”

1st Corinthians 9:26

Yes, just what is all this passage from the above Psalm 19:2, 4, 5 speaking of? 

.

Well, as we all know, or should know, Christ is called “the Sun of Righteousness” in Malachi 4:2, and “the sun” in other places.

.

But then Psalm 19 describes this bridegroom as if he is “coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race”.

.

This is most likely speaking of how the sun rises each morning, and rejoices to begin his race anew, as he appears to be traveling across the sky all day, seemingly racing back to his resting place.

“My days are swifter than a weaver’s shuttle…”

Job 7:6 

.

And isn’t it true that each new day goes by so quickly, soon becoming another night?

.

Yes, our days go by so quickly…“swifter than a weaver’s shuttle…”! Job 7:6

.

And then, before we know it, another Sabbath day arrives, and a brand-new week begins on the 1st day of the week.

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.”

1st Corinthians 9:24

And so, just how does all this relate to you and me?

.

 Very simple! 

.

You see, this psalm speaks of the sun as a bridegroom rejoicing to run a daily race.

.

And, as already said, this all obviously relates to Christ the “Sun of Righteousness”.

.

And so, does this reveal that Christ likewise rejoices daily, as if in a race? And if Christ regards each new day as a race, then shouldn’t we also?

.

Of course, the answer might be “Yes, Yes, Yes!!!”

“redeeming the time, for the days are evil”! 

Ephesians 5:16

.

We have just so many hours in a day.

.

And we need to beg and plead that we might be so wakeful and watchful, that we run through our each and every day, attempting to seek for the highest profit, “redeeming the time, for the days are evil”!  Ephesians 5:16

Now, at this point, someone will say, “But I have so many obligations to take care of each day! What can I do?”

Of course, such a joy-filled Christian life as this can only be possible through the power and grace of God!

And by His mercy and grace, perhaps such a miserable wretch like this web-editor happens to be, might be able to practice what he preaches!

.

And may God’s mercy, grace, and peace be with us all as we finish these final days to the glory of God!

.

And may we all begin to look at each new day as an opportunity to run a race, from sunup to sundown!

.

This is the Winter Constellations of Signs Of Heaven.

Besides Orion and his Horse, we also see pictured in this sketch, the Dragon of Revelation 12.

.

This Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is fleeing.

.

As you can see, the Dragon Constellation is spewing a flood of water in her direction, as is written… “And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Revelation 12:15.

This wave of water represents Satan’s lies, and his false teachers who tell those lies.
