The Devil Made Me Do It!

.

Part 40

.

In this faithless, unbelieving world, the spiritual realm seldom gets any credit nor any blame for much of anything.

.

Except for insurance companies, not many others attribute things to “an act of God”.

.

And certainly, even fewer will attribute anything to “an act of Satan and his evil angels”!

.

Yes, the Devil has pretty much reduced himself to a cartoonish, red-suited, pitchfork-wielding dude with horns, a tail, and a villain-like mustache!

.

And yet, the Bible describes Satan vastly different…

.

…”Thus saith the Lord GOD;

Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty…

every precious stone was thy covering…

the workmanship of thy tabrets

and of thy pipes was prepared in thee

in the day that thou wast created…

Thou wast perfect in thy ways

from the day that thou wast created,

till iniquity was found in thee…

Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty,

thou hast corrupted thy wisdom

by reason of thy brightness:

As this above passage alludes, Lucifer, now given the office and title of “Satan”, and “The Devil”, this mighty angel was given many qualities and powers beyond what we know!

.

Listen to this next description of Lucifer…

…”Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air,

the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past

in the lusts of our flesh,

fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind;

and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.”

Ephesians 2:2, 3

In this above passage, it exposes that Satan, being the Prince of the Power of the Air”, has the ability to communicate his powers and abilities to this fallen world of antichrist rebels!

.

And though the human race would like to take credit for our supposed talents and accomplishments, the true credit should actually go to these unseen agents of evil, working in and through us to do their evil designs!

.

“…men of high degree are a lie…”

Psalm 62:9

.

But hey, Satan is more than happy to let humans take the credit!

.

After all, such a mistaken notion only bolsters the ego of many, and causes jealousy in others.

.

And by seemingly erasing himself out of existence, gives him much more power, and also bolsters the faithlessness of atheists.

.

But if God was to ever nullify Satan’s powers, humanity would be helpless in many areas of their personal and collective endeavors.

.

Societies would quickly deteriorate and crumble.

.

Sports and hobbies would lose their appeal. athletes would lose their agility.

.

Composers and artists and literary “geniuses” would suddenly lose their inspiration!

.

Politicians and government officials would begin making poor decisions (which already they are increasingly doing).

Amnon’s “love” turns to hate

.

And many romances would fail exceedingly.

.

See, for example, 2nd Samuel 13:15…

…”Then Amnon hated her [the young woman he thought he was madly in love with];

so that the hatred wherewith he hated her

was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her.

And Amnon said unto her, Arise, be gone!”

.

Yes, even many romances are merely borne of nothing more than pure satanic lust!

.

Yes, there are two power-sources in the world: the powers of Heaven and the powers of Hell (Hell, in this case, is referring to this hellish, antichrist world!)

.

And so, this is merely a condensed, abbreviated expose of how dependent this world actually is upon the powers of darkness (For we wrestle NOT against principalities, etc…)

2Co_2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;

and behold a great red dragon,

having seven heads and ten horns,

and seven crowns upon his heads.”

Revelation 12:3

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

.

**However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

**The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).**

.

**And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).**

.

So, we have this 7/10 numbering.

.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
