REVELATION TO HAVE A DRAMATIC FINALE

Revelation has been a book for Christians at any and every time, throughout history…

…and yet, the Book of Revelation will have its dramatic climactic fulfillment in these last days.

And though we must not forget the glorious but bloody history of the Church through the Dark Ages…
.
…we must also remember that there will be a trial by fire, a “grand finale” for all those living on the earth: Judgment Day. Armageddon. The time of Jacob’s trouble. The Day of the Lord.
.

THE TORMENT TO COME
.
Now, we must not get the idea that the days ahead will be business as usual.
.
Oh yes, for the people of the world, it may be business as usual.
.
But for those Christians who have not yet overcome the world, the Day of Judgment will be intense and fiery!
.
God will allow Satan to torment us with such fierce cruelty, that we will eventually cry out,“My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?”
But we must not forget that God never punishes for the mere sake of inflicting pain! No, it is God’s will that His people become purified as gold which is tried in the fire!
.
These fiery trials are given to purify us from the “old man” of the flesh, within us, which must be crucified, because his very nature is antichrist!
.
The “new man” within us, which is Christlike, must be freed from the oppressive nature of the “old man”.
.
And so, the fiery trials before us are orchestrated to purify a people for God, who will learn to walk by faith, and by faith alone!
.
No more will God’s people lean on the arm of flesh.
.
At last, they will finally lift up the Cross for all the onlooking world to behold!

THE NARROW & WIDE GATE STARS

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.

Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story).
But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.

The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.
.
This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).
.
While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.
.
It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.

The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.
.
The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of theDragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here).

Here is a verse concerning the judgment of the last days.

And yet, when God speaks here of the “pile thereof is fire and much wood”, this is a tip-off that God is speaking metaphorically, and not literally.
.
After all, this verse says that Tophet will burn because of all the wood.
.
So, if we would take this literally, it would be totally ridiculous!
.
And this is confirmed by the next words, “the breath of the LORD, like a steam of brimstone, doth kindle it.”
.
Now obviously these metaphors, speaking of piles of wood and the breath of the LORD and the fires of Tophet are presenting an allegorical description of the great Day of God’s wrath.
The point is, we need to interpret the Bible as a spiritual book.
.
And while there are many verses which are plain spiritual statements, yet there are many other verses which must be interpreted spiritually, in order to make any sense.
.
Now let’s look at one more passage…
“And the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire
on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel.”
Exodus 24:17
.
Here again, the words, “devouring fire” are used here to describe the glory of God, when He appeared to Israel from Mount Sinai.
.
This word, “devouring” can also be translated, “consuming”.

And this raises a very interesting question: “Just what dreams should I be pursuing?”
.
After all, there are many dreams to pursue in this life. Some pursue money and material possessions. Some pursue fame and fortune. Some pursue hobbies and sports. Some merely want a peaceful life and a cottage on a little green acre. Others want a high-paying career and all the accompanying amenities. Some dream of romance.
.
Yes, this world offers many dreams that one can pursue.
But what about the Christian? What dreams should the child of God pursue?
.
Shouldn’t the greatest dream of the Christian be to meet the Lord in peace? And this would necessitate a sanctified life of holiness, wouldn’t it?…
.
Listen to Paul… “Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians 3:8
.
Here above, Paul made clear just what his dream was: to win Christ.
But many will say, “Well why would Paul want to win Christ? Didn’t Paul already have Christ?”
.
Listen as Paul continues… “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:13, 14
.
So Paul did not consider himself to have apprehended Christ.
.
But he pursued Christ as though he had not yet obtained Christ.
But what other dreams should the Christian pursue?
.
Well, wouldn’t the greatest dream for a Christian be, to see his or her children (and grandchildren) walking those heavenly streets of gold someday?
.
Yes, each and every day, the Christian cries out for the Salvation of his or her family! And not just for our children, but for our parents and friends too!
.
Yes, God has called us to be ambassadors for Christ!
.
And He has elected us to be priests, crying out on behalf of all those around us!
Now unfortunately, most churches today teach that the Christian can have Heaven and still pursue earthly dreams. But the Bible calls that kind of thinking, “double-minded”…
.
Listen to Jesus… “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple!” Luke 14:33
.
Most churches don’t really believe this statement by Jesus. But Paul believed it!
.
Listen again to Paul…“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,” Philippians 3:8

Now is Paul saying here that we cannot own anything? Furniture? A car? A house?

Of course not! What Paul is merely warning us against, is the danger of becoming materialistic.

Yes, we live in a very materialistic world.
.
The whole world is going after the lusts of the flesh, the lusts of the eyes, and the many proud pursuits and careers.
But Christ has called us out of the world, to become strangers and pilgrims on an upward heavenward sojourn!
.
And Paul agrees with this by saying…“For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.” 1st Timothy 6:7, 8
.
OK, so Paul tells us to be content with food and covering.
.
And yet, the Church for the most part ignores Paul’s admonition, and continues to accumulate needless possessions and proud attainments.
The fact is, there isn’t enough time to pursue this world and Heaven too!
.
And there isn’t enough room in the heart for both worlds to co-exist! We must each choose which world we are going to live for! Heaven or Hell (this world)! We just cannot live for both!
.
And if we are going to save our family, we cannot expect to have a divided heart.
.
A heart divided cannot stand! It will certainly fall!
.
But to win Heaven for our loved ones will require all the heart, soul, mind and strength!
.
Nothing less will do!
.
This world is the battlefield for the souls of men!
.
.
.
.
.
TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS!
.
Well, the Good News is, that this is still the day of Salvation. And in an instant, the Christian can repent and turn away from the pursuit of earthly Mammon (the pleasures and riches of this selfish world). And there is no need to immediately trash all our belongings!
.
No, it’s like that old song… “Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face! And the things of the world will grow strangely dim, in the light of His glory and grace!”
.
Yes, when we lift up our heads heavenward, the things of the world begin to lose their luster! The brightness of Jesus makes this world look dark and drab by comparison!

Now in yesterday’s devotional, it was pointed out that Psalm 101 is all about a repentance which vows to separate from all wicked influences.

And it was pointed out that we are now living in a day in which all the filth and wickedness of this Babylonian/Sodomite world can be accessed by anyone, via television, radio, Internet, books & magazines, etc…
.

BY GRACE ALONE, BUT WORKS DO FOLLOW!

And so, Psalm 101 has a special message for today’s Christian: to come out from among these wicked and corrupting influences and separate from them, if one ever hopes to be a child of God!

Oh yes, Salvation is by grace and grace alone!
.
But only those who have truly become saved will respond to God’s grace by making decided efforts to purify the heart and transform the life into the likeness of Jesus Christ!
Now having said all this, the commission has been given to every true worshipper, to separate from every evil influence, as far as possible.
.
And no, we cannot come entirely out of this world!
.
But we can come a good way out, if we so-choose!
.
And this is what Psalm 101 is all about!
.

“That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts…”
Ephesians 4:22

But here is the point to today’s devotional: while we want to separate from outside influences which corrupt the hearts of Believers, we must also be equally concerned about the evil within!
.
Yes, there is an evil man within each and every new convert to Christianity!
.
And the Bible refers to this man as “The Old Man”.
(Romans 6:6, Ephesians 4:22, Colossians 3:9)
.
This “Old Man”is the flesh (enhanced by spiritual wickedness), which is corrupt and sinful, and desires to control each and every person.
.
Now when a person truly comes to the Lord through Salvation, there is born within, “The New Man”.
.
And then begins a struggle between the Old Man and the New Man for lordship over the Believer.
The Bible says…“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit,
and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other:
so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
Galatians 5:16, 17
.
And so, a battle begins in the life of the Believer. It is the battle over “self”! And it is an expressed commission by God for every Believer to crucify the flesh…
.
Listen as Galatians continues… “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:24

THE NEW MAN & THE OLD MAN
.
And so, back to Psalm 101. Just how does this Psalm apply to this concept of overcoming “self”?
.
You see, every true child of God is painfully aware that evil still exists within!
.
When Psalm 101 speaks of separating from evil influences in the form of liars, slanderers, gossips, flatters, extortioners, and the like, the Believer sees all these qualities within his or her own heart!
.
The Old Man of the flesh has not yet been fully crucified! “The New Man…created in in righteousness and true holiness” does not yet have full control. (Ephesians 4:24)
.
And so, while Psalm 101 is definitely about separating from the evil from without, but also about separating from the evil from within!
.
Yes, we must part ways from Antichrist without, but also from Antichrist within!
But those who have been called to liberty, will continue on in Christ’s Word, as we journey up the pathway to victory.
.
And those who are truly traveling up that pathway out of this hellish world below, will be constantly engaging in the work of heart-purification, and life-transformation.
.
And Psalm 101 is a very important piece of the puzzle of overcoming the world, the flesh, and the Devil!
“Dear Lord, Give me a heart that longs to crucify the Old Man of sin. Help me to fix my gaze on Christ and His glory. Persevere with me until I have finally overcome the world…

Now, the name of this devotional is “Repentance 101”, alluding to some beginning college course, which beginning college courses are often called 101, as opposed to intermediate courses which are called “201”, and advanced courses, “301”.
.
But we will refer to this Psalm as “Repentance 101”, because it presents some basic principles about what it means to prepare one’s heart for the Lord to make His abode in that Believer’s heart!
And so, the remainder of this little Psalm speaks of the various reforms which the Psalmist will make, in hopes that the Lord will come quickly into the fulness of spiritual glorification.
Yes, Psalm 101 is a Psalm about separating from those who are wicked, and from their ungodly influences!

And so, this Psalmist makes vows to separate himself from all gossips, slanderers, liars, flatterers, and angry persons, and worldly-minded pretenders who come into the Church with their malignant influences!

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

So, what are these two gates all about?

And how can I choose the right door?
.
But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON
.
This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours).

In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter.
Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies…

…which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony…
.
…or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).

On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God.

Well, you get the point of this little joke. If the 10 Commandments are merely the work of men, and God doesn’t really exist, then they do not have to be obeyed.

And if they do not have to be obeyed, then who’s to say what is right and what is wrong?

It’s now just survival of the fittest: the strongest in the world, overtaking the weaker!
“It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law”

Since atheism has risen to power, there has been a steadily growing movement to remove any and every Christian object or sentiment from public viewing.
.
And these secularists are working around the clock to remove anything Christian, including the 10 Commandments from the public.
The God-given institution of marriage & family is now greatly in shambles, because secularists are “reimagining society”!
.
And our young people (many from broken, dysfunctional, or one-parent homes), saturate themselves with songs about violence, crime, and lust, via their high-tech devices!
.
Parents having their children’s genitals mutilated, imagining that they can somehow change their God-given gender by the hand of a so-called “doctor”!
.
And government-run schools are not only beginning to encourage students to engage in sexual promiscuity, but also teaching them to hate one-another, all based on skin-color!
.
And things are getting so bad, a few teachers are even beginning to encourage the fantasy of murdering those whose skin pigment doesn’t qualify them to receive “politically-correct” protection!
.
This kind of devilish societal madness is really frightening and should send a giant alarm about the fearful hour we’re now in!

EARTH: PLANET OF REST
.
Counting the Sun as the 1st heavenly sphere, the Earth is the 4th heavenly sphere.

If we extend our theory (and it’s just a theory) that God created our solar system to correspond to the commandments, the Sun corresponding to the 1st Commandment…

But as to the second question about whether or not I should give thanks even for the evil things which come my way, both great and small, the Bible gives great insight to this question!
But what transpired after Hezekiah’s recovery reveals why God often removes even righteous people, like Hezekiah, from the world in their early years.

You see, God’s foreknowledge is infinite. He knows all possible outcomes in every situation.
.
And God knew that Hezekiah would commit a grievous sin after his recovery which would bring Israel to its eventual captivity.
.
Yes, by proudly showing that King of Babylon’s messengers all the vast treasures of Jerusalem, Hezekiah was unwittingly insuring the eventual overthrow of Jerusalem by Babylon some years down the line.
.
This was one reason why God wanted to spare Hezekiah from committing that grievous sin!
So, maybe, just maybe Ashley’s terrible wreck may have caused her to drive decidedly more carefully in the future, eventually sparing her from an early death somewhere down the line.
And maybe God saw that Carl was headed for apostasy from Christianity, and God brought Carl’s daughter into her own apostasy, to bring Carl to his knees, begging for God’s mercy upon his daughter.

And so, Carl renewed his vows to the Lord, and eventually rejoiced to see his daughter return to the Lord!
And what Christina didn’t realize, was that God allowed her babysitter to arrive late, because He was sparing Christina from getting into a fatal car wreck, had she left for work on time!

INFINITELY WISE GOD

Yes, we really need to realize that God is a very good and loving and infinitely wise God.
.
And He knows what’s best for each and every member of the human family.
And so, let’s each begin to give thanks for the things which happen each day, great or small. Because we just don’t know the various reasons why God allows certain “bad things” to happen, from time to time.

This is the essence of what it means to trust in the Lord, “in every thing, give thanks!” 1st Thessalonians 5:18.

and the faith of Jesus.”

These two above verses are both from two different chapters of the Book of Revelation, given to the Apostle, John.
.
And they both speak of commandment-keeping persons.
.
And yet the first group have, “the testimony of Jesus”, while the second group, “keep the faith of Jesus”.
.
Isn’t this an interesting difference? The first group seems to be able to proclaim the Gospel, but last group must live by faith with no mention of giving the testimony of Jesus.
But why is this difference even mentioned concerning these two groups of commandment-keeping people?
.
Well, perhaps we need to examine what happens to Believers during God’s chastening process, and see if this gives us a clue as to why one group has, “the testimony of Jesus” while the other group keeps, “the faith of Jesus”.
In the first part of this little series, “Apocalypse Now” (click here to read), the focus was on the “silencing of the true Gospel”, brought about by persecution from the world (and from the worldly Church).
.
Yes, it seems as though we have reached the long-awaited day in which Christians will be prevented from freely proclaiming the true Gospel.
The fact is, that we just do not realize the foolishness still bound up in our hearts.
.
And when Christians begin to drift away from our watchfulness and from our self-distrust, Satan will seek to pull us onto his enchanted-ground-pasture.
.
And when we fall into a deep spiritual drunkenness, we are liable to become proud and judgmental of other individuals.
.
At this point, we may begin to point our “bony fingers” at another individual, as if to say, “Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou.
.
But this is God’s response to the words of every proud Pharisee…These (finger-pointers) are a smoke in My nose (says God), a fire that burneth all the day.” Isaiah 65:5
So, what can we do about such a dreadful situation?
.
Well, one very important stance we must take, is that of being a watchful, prayerful Christian…
.
Listen to Peter’s counsel…“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:” 1st Peter 5:8
.
Now here we see that Peter had learned his lesson well.
.
Yes, who should know better than Peter about keeping silent?
.
But Peter’s mouth got him into great trouble, causing him to even deny his Lord!
Yes, there is a hiding place, a shelter from the storm in which God’s faithful ones must now hide.
.
Listen… “Seek ye the LORD,
all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought His judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.”
Zephaniah 2:3

Yes, those who are willing to pursue meekness and righteousness with all their heart just might be hidden from the terrible calamities which are even now beginning to storm upon the whole world!

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation.

This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward.

It stands upright a little later in the night.

Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross!

Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

There have been many teachers who attempted to interpret the Book of Revelation, coming up with many varied ideas about what it is speaking of.
.
Now of course, the Lord tells us that it is an unsealed book for the most part.
.
And yet, confusion abounds as to exactly what this little book is all about.
.
Those who cling to the false and unbiblical hermeneutic which demands literal interpretation as far as possible, attempt to define The Revelation as literal as possible!
Now, in the Book of Revelation, the Apostle John is given the same commission.
.
But John is to take the little book and, “prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.”
.
And so now, while Ezekiel’s roll of a book was specifically for the house of Israel, John’s little book was for “many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings”.
But now, if this little book given to John is intimately intertwined with Ezekiel’s roll of a book, it only confirms that John’s little book is not just for literal Jews…
.
…but this “little book” is for the entire Commonwealth of Israel, comprised of Christians from all the “peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings”.
.
In other words, the commonwealth of Israel is now sprinkled throughout the world!
.
And it is called “the commonwealth” because, “the Israel of God”is now made up of all peoples.
.
It is no longer just an isolated nation of literal Jews, but now a community of Believers from every corner of the globe.
The Good News is, that God has allowed us a little more time to correct our many misconceptions about Revelation, as well as the rest of the Bible.
.
And so, we need to cry out to God for the ability to study for our own selves, and no longer depend upon mainstream Christianity to tell us what we are to believe, or not to believe.
.
And after we finally become personally well-versed in the whole Bible, then we will have become fully dressed in God’s protective armor, and ready for the final battle to come!

The point to today’s devotional is, that physical rest cannot make a day holy.
.
Ceasing from physical labor cannot make a day holy.
.
And those who are truly on the road to truth, will eventually come to the place where they have to concede that the 4th Commandment must be understood spiritually.
But when Jesus began His earthly ministry, He revealed the true nature of the Sabbath…
“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest.
Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart:
and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For My yoke is easy,
and My burden is light.”
Matthew 11:28-30
.
Here we see just what the true Sabbath is.
.
It is a “rest unto your souls”, which comes about when a man, woman, or child renounces this selfish world and begins to follow Jesus and learn of Him!
And the more that any man, woman, or child increases his or her knowledge and understanding of Christ, the greater and more perfect will be that “rest unto your souls”. (See Matthew 11:28-300)
.
That is why Paul said…
“Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest,
lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.”
Hebrews 4:11
.
Yes, it takes genuine labor to find the true Sabbath, “rest unto your souls”!
.
Bible study and daily contemplation through the hours of each day, combined with unceasing prayer and continual effort to become Christlike are the main ingredients to enjoying the true Sabbath!
.
It is a Sabbath which extends into the entire 7 days of every week!
Now having said all this, we must be very careful not to judge others, bringing condemnation down upon our own head!
.
Listen to Paul…
“One man esteemeth one day above another:
another esteemeth every day alike.
Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord;
and he that regardeth not the day,
to the Lord he doth not regard it”
Romans 14:5, 6
.
Yes, to judge those who regard any one day above another will only bring unrest and turmoil into our own soul!
.
Contrariwise, those who judge others who regard all days alike will only bring spiritual unrest and turmoil upon that 1-day-per-week Sabbath-keeper!
.
But whatever one’s conception of Sabbath-keeping is, unless that Christian has found the true spiritual “rest-unto-your-souls”, any attempt to keep 1-day-per-week holy will be a mere exercise in futility!
The Good News is this: it is still the day of Salvation!
.
The door of mercy has not yet closed! And all who desire Salvation may still labor to enter into the “Rest unto your souls”! Matthew 11:28-30
.
And whether at work, or at physical rest, or at recreation with our family, we will be hiding ourselves in Jesus and His “exceeding great and precious promises”! 2nd Peter 1:4

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations…
.
…but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horses mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Yes, this divine message is as a scroll, as it graces the daily and nightly heavens! But it cannot be seen unless it is divinely revealed…

Listen…“Behold, the day of the LORD cometh…
For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light:
the sun shall be darkened in his going forth,
and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.”
Isaiah 13:9, 10 (Condensed)
.
While this above passage has great spiritual implications, it can also be understood literally, as it applies to the “signs in the Sun, Moon and stars”.
But the sad fact is, there are many faithful church-going individuals who desire to see the marvelous heavenly signs foretold by Scripture, and yet cannot, nor will give any credence to these signs.
.
No, it does not agree with their preconceived notions.
.
Thus, they become obstinate, much like Mr. Obstinate from John Bunyan’s masterpiece allegorical tale, “Pilgrim’s Progress”!
Yes, there is Good News! For those who would like to see this heavenly message, the call goes out…“And (Jesus) said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of Heaven.” Matthew 18:3
.
God is not looking for scholarly intelligentsia! No, God is rather looking for meek and humble followers with true, childlike faith! (Yes, there is a false faith, which is not childlike, but rather, proud and defiant!)
The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.
.
In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus will the Christian be able to share this message with others. And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.

Hasn’t this world taken a definite turn for the worse, as of late? Isn’t it amazing to see the world-wide paradigm-shift happening at such a rapid rate? It’s hard to even recognize this present-day society because of these changes! It’s just not the same place that we grew up in, or so it seems!
.
And over there in the Middle East, the ugly and hideous face of evil has become a tyrannical beast, as it persecutes all those it deems to be, “infidels”!
And so, just how does all this relate to the Christian? What should we be doing about this unnerving and fragile condition of the world?
.
Well, one thing is for sure! Those who call themselves “Christians” must be praying without ceasing for all those who are being persecuted around the world!
“…that without ceasing I (Paul) have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day!”
2nd Timothy 1:3
.
This above verse from 2nd Timothy gives great insight into Paul’s prayer-life. His spiritual son, Timothy was continually remembered by Paul, in his daily prayers, both day and night.
.
This means that Paul was constantly in prayer throughout his each and every day…and night!

A PRAYERLESS CHURCH?
.
Unfortunately, current statistics show that the average churchgoer prays only a few minutes per day, and that adds up to just a few hours per year!
.
Unbelievable? Yes, unbelievable!
.
And so, maybe we should not be surprised at the hopelessly tragic condition of today’s world! After all, how can we expect the Lord to bless this world when God’s very own people are so busy enjoying this selfish world, that we neglect to pray and cry out on behalf of the world’s suffering inhabitants?
If only those who post these signs in their yard really understood the enormity of this above verse! If only they understood this next verse…“And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13
.
Yes, putting these two verses together, we begin to understand just how total must be our commitment to seeking after the Lord, if we can ever expect His blessings and healing of our infirmities and supply our needs!
As this and many similar verses reveal, we can only expect to receive what we give out to others. In other words, if we neglect to pray without ceasing for those who are suffering around the world, then we can only expect to receive the same from the Lord!

If Christians only give out of their abundance, holding back enough to allow them to continue living in world-loving pleasure,“as in a day of slaughter” (James 5:5), then why should they be surprised to see their families becoming lost souls in the world? Yes, it is no wonder that their families are being enticed and seduced by the secular world and by the children of unbelievers!
And if we have pursued the pleasures and proud pursuits of this selfish world, then why should we be surprised that our spiritual life has become so meager and beggarly?
“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard”

Right now, it is Christians in other lands who are being persecuted. But soon, the days will come when it is us who are the ones who will be suffering physical, financial, and spiritual persecution!
Satan has purposely created this world-of-many-pleasures-and-pursuits for the express purpose of distracting Christians and binding us up in his spider-web of selfishness!
The Good News is, that if you or I have an ear to hear about our sad condition, then God has allowed a little time to correct our undoneness!

Yes, God is very willing to help us return to Him with all our hearts! And He will give us grace to put away all unnecessary activities and commitments, so that our day is filled with prayer, study and contemplation of His Word!

And even those who have a seeming myriad of family commitments can rearrange their lives in such a way, that they can finally begin to spend much time with the Lord!

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31. Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen. God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery. And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

Since its first publication (and even before), it has been Satan’s special effort to obliterate the King James Bible out of existence!

Satan and his armies have worked in his usual, very subtle manner, to make the King James Version as difficult as possible to read!
.
But he has also twisted the original meanings of many words, to give them completely different meanings, such as the name, “ass”, or “Peter”, and scores of other words as well.
.
And so, in many places in the Bible, these newly changed meanings of certain words will make the average worldly-minded person even laugh and become totally distracted!
And Satan and his armies have worked overtime to, “dumb down” our modern culture to the point that our young people are mostly ignorant of the blood-stained history of the Church.
.
And similarly, Satan has been busily turning our culture into a paganistic/hedonistic/atheistic culture: a society greatly unable and unwilling to comprehend spiritual ideas and higher thought.
Well, these are just a few of the ways in which Satan wars against the KJV.
.
And one primary reason for his venomous assault on the KJV is the little preface introduction found in the beginning of the King James Bible. (If you wish to read this introduction in its entirety, click here… “Preface to the King James Bible”)
But just why would the mere words of fallible men in this pre-amble be such a concern for the Devil?
.
Simple! This little introduction reveals the commonly held belief about who was, and who is Antichrist and about who the Book of Revelation was written for and about!

In other words, back in those days, biblically intelligent Christians realized that Revelation was written for all Christians, not just for 144,000 literal Jews, as modern-day theologians now erroneously teach.
.
And just as this above 500-year-old engraving shows, Christians living back in history realized the true fulfillment of Antichrist being the harlot church riding on the back of Satan’s kingdom, the religious and civil authorities of this world: this antichrist world-system.
And in that KJV introduction, the translators point out, in no uncertain terms, just who was that Antichrist Beast (being the apostate church-system, in collusion with the world governments!)

And in that introduction, it was also reiterated that the Beast received his deadly wound by a sword, which many modern-day theologians overlook!
.
And the King James translators also correctly believed that this sword spoken of, was actually the Word of God, the Bible, which gave the Beast his deadly wound!

Listen…“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:” Ephesians 6:17
.
The Word of God was, indeed, “the sword of the Spirit”, which gave that popish, apostate church-system its deadly wound, via the Bible, at last being made public on the newly-invented printing press.
Now, in today’s apostate, sensual churches, these waymarks of truth have mostly been demolished by current-day popular thinking!

Yes, Satan has worked overtime to turn Christians away from these very biblical truths held in common belief by Christians throughout the Dark Ages of history.

Nowadays, the Church, for the most part is looking for some individual person to be the fulfillment of “Antichrist”.

Christians today have little or no knowledge of the true fulfillment of Antichrist being the fallen churches in collusion with worldly authorities.
Oh yes, make no mistake! There is coming a final showdown and judgment upon the Church and the world!

And just because all 22 chapters of Revelation were given for all ages of the Church, we must not get the idea that it won’t have a final dramatic fulfillment!

This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014. It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.

These two above verses are both from two different chapters of the Book of Revelation, given to the Apostle, John.
.
And they both speak of commandment-keeping persons. And yet the first group have, “the testimony of Jesus”, while the second group, “keep the faith of Jesus”.
But why is this difference even mentioned concerning these two groups of commandment-keeping people?
.
Well, perhaps we need to examine the events surrounding each group and see if this gives us a clue as to why one group has, “the testimony of Jesus” while the other group keeps, “the faith of Jesus”.
“and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb”
Revelation 14:10
.
But when we come to the second passage we notice that it makes no mention of having, “the testimony of Jesus”, but instead, having, “the faith of Jesus”.
.
And listen as the Lord continues to define just who has received the “fire & brimstone”…
.
Listen… “Here is the patience of the saints:
here are they that keep the commandments of God,
and the faith of Jesus.
And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me,
Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth:
Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours;
and their works do follow them.”
Revelation 14:9-13
.
So, this second group has emerged victorious from this Mark of the Beast message.
.
They have been purified by “fire & brimstone”, symbolizing God’s purifying fires.
.
Both the world and the world-loving churches and denominations have persecuted the saints to the degree that they have been compelled to walk totally by faith, having nothing else but Christ to cling to!
.
No longer does their old sin nature worship the beast and his image in their flesh! The “old man” of sin has been thoroughly crucified from out of their hearts, by fiery trials!
.
They have patiently allowed God to perform His fiery purifying process on their heart! This is the patience of the saints!
.
The dross has all been burned away!
.
They now come forth as purified gold!
.
And finally, these purified ones are able to live by the faith of Jesus!
.
They walk, even as He (Jesus) walked, during His earthly sojourn!
.

SECOND GROUP: THE FAITH OF JESUS
.
But the problem is, this second group of victorious Christians are no longer said to have “the testimony of Jesus”.
.
Oh yes, they “keep the commandments of God”.
.
And yes, they have, “the faith of Jesus”.
.
But unlike the first passage in Revelation, there is no mention of them having, “the testimony of Jesus”.
.

So why the difference? What has changed? After all, throughout the history of the Church, Christians have been proclaiming the Gospel to the world, as far as possible.
Now, Revelation 13 also builds on this same theme of Christians being silenced…

Listen…“And that no man might buy or sell,
save he that had the mark,
or the name of the (1st) beast,
or the number of his name.”
Revelation 13:16, 17
.
Now this above passage foretells of the same day in which no man can buy or sell the truth…
.
Listen…“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Proverbs 23:23
.
Yes, buying the true Gospel is something that should never be traded away!

BUYING THE GOSPEL

And while Revelation 13:16, 17 may be speaking of a time of literal financial distress for God’s people, it also speaks of the hour when the true Gospel is completely cut off.

And this likewise speaks of the time when it will be all but impossible to proclaim the true Gospel to the world!
.
In that sense too, Christians are selling the truth to anyone willing to buy the truth…
.
Listen…“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,
and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat;
yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price…
hearken diligently unto me,
and eat ye that which is good,
and let your soul delight itself in fatness.”

And so, these two verses from Revelation, which allude to the day in which, “the testimony of Jesus”is no longer attributed to God’s commandment-keeping people.
.
And aren’t we already seeing the Internet “Goliaths” slowly but surely closing off the true Gospel on the world-wide-web?
But the very Good News in all this is, God’s people will finally be purified to the degree that they will “walk even as He (Jesus) walked!”1st John 2:6
.
This is the ultimate fulfillment of what it means to keep God’s Commandments!
.
And having previously hidden God Word in their hearts, they now shine as the Sun in the day “when the towers (the fallen churches) shall fall!”(see Isaiah 30:25)
.
And now, God’s glorified people no longer need to speak literal words.
.
Their purified and glorified Christ-like lives (as they now “shine forth as the sun”), will do all the speaking for them! (Matthew 13:43)

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION
.
This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.
.
This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in.

You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west.
.
You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south.
.
Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill.
.
The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill.
.
The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.
.
Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation.
.
This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward.
.
It stands upright a little later in the night.
.
Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross!
.
Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.
.
When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

This is the 16th installment of this series about coming out of Babylon, the world and the harlot churches.

And the reader is encouraged to click on and begin reading this series of devotionals called “Come Out of Her, My People”,to gain a fuller understanding of just why God considers today’s churches to be spiritual Babylon.

And one more aspect of Babylon will be lightly touched upon today.
.
Ever since Satan changed his strategy against the Church, the churches have become progressively apostate.
.
Yes, once the physical persecution ceased, and the world became friendly with the Church, the churches have become slowly but steadily more defiled with man-made doctrine and worldly behavior.
And this apostasy has also manifested itself in the area of dress.
.
While back in earlier decades, church-going women paid great attention to modesty and propriety, slowly but surely, the fashions of the world worked their way into the Church.
.
And now in the last 30 years or so, many of the women come to church without shame, dressing as the women of this pagan world!
“And furthermore, that ye have sent for men to come from far…
for whom thou didst wash thyself, painted thy eyes, and decked thyself with ornaments…
Yet they went in unto her, as they go in unto a woman that plays the harlot:
so went they in unto Aholah and unto Aholibah, the lewd women.”
Ezekiel 23:40, 44
.
Here above, Ezekiel alludes to God’s apostate church (both the liberal, as well as the conservative portions) as two adulterous sisters who paint their eyes and deck themselves with ornaments in attempt to attract pagan men to their beds of lust.
But this above passage from Ezekiel 23:40, 44 is a warning and an encouragement to faithful women in churches: those who desire only to please their spiritual husband, Christ, by separating themselves from the wares-n-ways of this Babylonish world.
.
And even at the risk of looking less attractive, these faithful women shun all pagan adornments, in hopes of pleasing Christ!
The Church should have been the one place where Believers could feel safe from the allurements of sin.
.
But instead of being a safe-haven, the churches became a place of sensuality, not only in the area of immodest dress, but also in the sensual music being played!
.
Oh yes, these “songs of worship” may have quasi-Christian lyrics.
.
But the music itself and the performances are quite often an imitation of the sensuality heard in this Babylonish world!
Of course, the great underlying cause for all this paganry is human pride and selfishness. It is an attempt to exalt self.
.
And yes, there are many women who feel they are not adequate. And they often attempt to make up for their deficiency with just a little make-up, and some modest but attractive apparel, and a little costume jewelry.
.
It’s not our job to be judgmental against the motives of those who are not so physically attractive, and simply try to make up for their lack.
.
Nevertheless, the Bible reveals that true beauty is the Spirit of Christ within.
.
This pagan world seeks after the so-called beauty according to “the god of this world”, Satan. (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)
Oh yes, in our flesh we will still be living and working and providing for our family here in this hopeless world!
.
But in our heart, we will be in the Holy Temple of God, reigning as priests and kings as we minister before our Holy God and our High Priest, Jesus Christ!
.
And by faithfully continuing to cleanse our soul temple, we will one day walk side-by-side with many of those, both friends and family…
.
…for those whom we have tirelessly prayed, when back on earth, joyfully conversing as we walk down the highways and byways of spiritual gold (the precious gold of faith & love) in the City of God!
But one caution is necessary in this little devotional. The Christian must always be careful not to let his or her Christian lifestyle become some sort of “badge of honor”.
.
In other words, there is always the temptation to make some sort of uniform dress-code among religious people.
.
Our looks or our speech or our behavior should be as low-profile as possible, so as to not become the objects attention to the world.
.
And so, much prayer and wisdom are in order, so that we might strike the proper balance in how we live in this temporary world.

GOD’S PEOPLE TAKEN CAPTIVE

God has a people in Babylon. Yes, Mystery Babylon is the Mother of Harlots. The sketch to the left shows her riding this beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.

But in that spiritual city, there are those who still love God to a certain degree.

And before the final plagues are poured out upon her, God has been and will continue to call His people out of her…

And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction.

The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold the One, who has created all these things.

In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
And thus, the Christian will be able to share this message with others!
And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.
The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).
.
These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).
.
And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
.
These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.
.
Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.
Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine starwatching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!
.
It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of the night-heavens, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father!
There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!
.
And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.
.
And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.
.
Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.
.
But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore, the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
“Dear Lord, Give me a desire to engage in a daily prayer regimen. And give me strength to go for walks, even if I have to use a wheelchair. And give me a desire to study the heavens, and to see these heavenly signs, if only in my mind’s eye…

Now, you can hardly blame these modern-day teachers for mis-quoting this verse to support their church-doctrine.

For example, the following statement, “I would rather be absent from the South Pole, and present in Hawaii”, does not necessarily prove that absence from the South Pole requires one to be in Hawaii.
.
No, it simply means you’d rather be out of one place and present in the other place, even if it requires traveling time.
Now this daily devotional is not so concerned as to whether or not Christians actually go straight to a conscious existence in Heaven when they die.
.
And yes, there indeed are a number of verses which might seemingly suggest that Christians go straight to a conscious existence in Heaven, the moment of death.
.
But on the other hand, there are far more verses suggesting that Christians remain in an UN-conscious state of being, until they are resurrected on the Last Day!
“…but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at My word.”
Isaiah 66:2
.
And so, the real point of today’s devotional is not to prove one school of thought or the other, concerning this question.

But the point of today’s devotional is to ask the questions…

“Why not just quote this verse correctly?

Why is it so important to prove one’s own personal interpretation?
.
Why not just quote this verse correctly, and “let the chips fall where they may”, as the saying goes?”

WRESTLING WITH SCRIPTURE

“As also in all (Paul’s) epistles,

in which are some things hard to be understood,
which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest,

God has purposely made “some things hard to be understood”, as this above passage reveals! God has purposely written the Bible as a test for us.

And so, it is far more important to be totally honest and forthright, than it is to convince others of my own personal prejudice on what the Bible says!

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture. His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31.

Such a strange question, indeed! How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen.

God Himself will “loose the bands of Orion”, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery.

And we are beginning to understand that this most notable of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.

In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike this person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus, the Christian will be able to share this message with others.
The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).
.
These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).
.
And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
.
These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.
.
Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.
Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine starwatching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!
.
It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God which cannot be described with words!

And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, maybe in a secure mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.

And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.

Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.

But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore the Bible also says…“Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
“Dear Lord, Give a desire to engage in a daily prayer regimen. And give me strength to go for walks, even if I have to use a wheelchair. And give me a desire to study the heavens, and to see these heavenly signs, if only in my mind’s eye…
Is it just a coincidence that the Ark of the Covenant Constellation also appears as two birds, which two birds (turtle-doves) were used in the Old Testament sacrifices? Hardly!

“And if he be not able to bring a lamb,
then he shall bring for his trespass,
which he hath committed,
two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD;
one for a sin offering,
and the other for a burnt offering.”
Leviticus 5:7.
So two birds, being used as a sacrifice goes very well with this Ark Constellation. Just a coincidence? No!

Is it just dumb luck that these two birds appear to fly forward instead of backward, as they travel east to west? Just something to consider.

And how could it be that the Two Turtle-doves Constellation just happens to be flying in the same direction as Arcturus is traveling?

No, just divine providence!

So, these Turtle-Doves also seem to represent the sons of Arcturus. They too are following Arcturus.
Now normally, the birds would be killed, as a sacrifice in the Old Testament sacrificial system. But both these two birds are flying, following Arcturus.

This seems to speak of God’s mercy. Christ took our sins upon himself. Just like these Two Turtle-Doves being set free, so are we likewise set free from the wages of sin…“and the truth shall make you free.” John 8: 32

In Part 1 (click here to read), the butterfly was presented as a perfect illustration of the “Born Again” experience.

That is, it was observed that just like the caterpillar that eats the green herbs of the earth, so too, unconverted humans consume the things of this world, as their time on earth passes by.
Now the caterpillar goes into a metamorphosis-stage. It actually turns into liquid, within the chrysalis! It completely dies!

And so too, the Christian goes through a process of dying to self and dying to this selfish world.
.
And this is greatly accomplished by the many trials which come upon him (or her).
.
And God quite often allows the Devil to bring afflictions upon the Christian, via friends, family or even work-related trials.
.
But God also works through natural events as well.
.
Physical illness can also be used by God to cause the suffering Christian to wrestle in prayer.
.
So, whether by physical infirmities, or by spiritual warfare brought on by the Devil, God works through all these many afflictions to cause the Christian to fully cease from trying to bring about good, by his own strength.
.
And thus, the Christian, more and more, dies to his self-will. And more and more, the Christian leans on God’s precious promises!
Finally, after some days or weeks of this total transformation, the former caterpillar breaks free from its chrysalis, and emerges as a beautiful butterfly!
.
A totally new Creation of God! Now with wings, it departs from its former earthly estate.
.
And now, its sole purpose is to seek the sweet nectar from every correct flower!
.
And in this process, the butterfly unknowingly cross-pollinates all the flowers, as it travels back and forth through the air, and from flower-to-flower.
So too, after the Christian has fully crucified the Old Man within, with all his affections and earthly lusts, that brand-new creation by God is now ready to live out the rest of his, or her life for the glory of God!

And unbeknownst to that Born-Again Christian is a constant witness to the world!
.
Whether at work, or at home, or at recreation with spouse and children, the Christian is spiritually pollinating all those around, with the great Agape Love and Purity and Holiness of Christ.

Yes, that New Creation of God, is now changed into the likeness of the holy Christ!
.
And for the rest of that Christian’s days, there is an ongoing ascension on the upward pathway to Heaven!
And so, dear child of God, we must not become discouraged by trials, afflictions, or illnesses, knowing that God can and will work through all these unhappy circumstances, for our ultimate good.

The Woman Constellation giving birth to the Christ-child typifies the Church (all true worshippers) as we struggle to rightly present Christ to the world…

So Paul was using this idea of child-birth as way of illustrating how a Believer is in spiritual labor pains, waiting for Christ to be formed within.

JOB’S TRIAL
.
For some reason, the Book of Job just hasn’t got the attention that so many other books of the Bible have gotten.
.
And yet the book of Job is an extremely vital part of the sacred Scriptures!
.
For one thing, Job had an experience which so many of us can relate to, more or less.
.
You see, Job had lived a charmed life, for so many years!
.
But one day, this man of God, who had comforted and encouraged so many others throughout his life, was now the victim of a brutal and nearly total devastation, rained down on him by, “the enemy of souls”!
Well finally, after Job’s three friends (plus Elihu, the 4th man) ceased from trying to convince Job of his sins, God Himself entered into the discourse, asking Job about 80 questions (some say, 77 questions): questions far beyond Job’s comprehension!
.
But though the questions were more than Job could ever answer, Job understood the big point that God was trying to make with him.
.
And the point that God was trying to make was, that God is much greater than Man. And God’s ways are eternal.
.
Listen… “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9
.
And so, God does many things which we cannot understand.
.
And God often does many things which even seem somewhat cruel!
.
But we just can’t comprehend God’s eternal plan! We just cannot see down through the corridors of time, like God does!
But the Good News for Job was, that all through his trial, Job did not curse God!
.
No, Job kept himself from “letting God have it, with both barrels!” And so, technically, God won His bet with the Devil.
.
And yet, in that months-long process, Job’s hidden sins of pride and judging and rebellion, were all exposed.
.
And Job finally and humbly confessed, saying… “I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee. Wherefore I abhor myself, and repent in dust and ashes.” Job 42:5, 6

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), the eight arms of the Octopus were discussed, and how they symbolized Satan. And it was discussed how the number, “8”, is the number of the eight kings of the Antichrist Beast.
.
But spiders also have eight legs, while most insects only have six. And spiders also symbolize Satan, as he weaves his deadly web of sin and deceit for the human race, but especially the Church!
.
Yes, some spiders even wrap their victims in their silken cords, and inject a deadly paralyzing poison into the fly, which turns that bug into a pulpy liquid. Spiders are indeed a worthy comparison to Satan!
And of course, it has already been presented in past devotionals, how the spider’s web is an optical illusion, looking like a three-dimensional tunnel.
.
And it has been discussed that the poor fly thinks it’s flying through that tunnel, only to discover that it wasn’t a tunnel after all, but a deadly trap.
.
And of course, this also reminds of all the many ideologies in the world, which seem like a journey to a better place, but only prove to be a deadly trap, just like the spider’s web. And by the time the human victim realizes his or her error, Satan has already paralyzed that human with his indwelling “antichrist…spirit of error”!

And it was also discussed in yesterday’s devotional (click here), that the eight tentacles of the Octopus represent the spirit of Antichrist, which is comprised of eight symbolic spirits: seven of which represent false religion, and the eighth representing Satan himself (see Matthew 12:43-45).
But there is another aspect to all this, which wasn’t discussed in yesterday’s devotional. And that is what will be lightly dealt with today.

You see, the Bible speaks of the Antichrist in a number of places.
.
Listen to this…
“These six things doth the LORD hate:
yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
1. A proud look,
2. a lying tongue, and
3. hands that shed innocent blood,
4. An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations,
5. feet that be swift in running to mischief.
6. A false witness that speaketh lies, and
7. he that soweth discord among brethren”
Proverbs 6:16-19.
.
This description almost sounds like your typical Hollywood movie, doesn’t it? And to a great degree, these are the same qualities which govern the people of this world. Do we even need to explore these qualities?
.
For instance, is there any doubt that this world loves pride? Pride of dress. Pride of houses and cars, and careers and credentials? Yes, pride is a very important quality of this world. And that’s merely the first quality mentioned here!
.
But the other 6 qualities are also very prevalent in society. Lust, violence, greed, immorality, indifference, hatred, etc., are the sins which, not only the people of the world possess, but also the majority of the people of the church world.
So it sounds as if we’re simply talking here, about a worldly-minded person.
.
But when God says…“SIX things doth Lord hate: yea SEVEN are an abomination unto Him”, God appears to be hinting, by using the number “seven”, that He is speaking of an unconverted person WITHIN the Church!
.
This is because the phrase “Six things doth the Lord hate”is pointing to Mankind whose number is “six” (“So God created man…And the evening and the morning were the SIXTH DAY.” Genesis 1:27, 31).
.
But when God says “yea SEVEN are an abomination unto Him”, then we’re talking of “Rest”…hence the number “seven”… “And God blessed the SEVENTH DAY, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.” Genesis 2:3.
.
And as a further evidence, just look at what is the 7th thing mentioned… “he that soweth discord among brethren”.Right here, God has hidden the key to the understanding of just what is the Abomination of Desolation: “he that soweth discord among brethren”.This is the 7th thing that God hates. And of course, it’s dealing with“among brethren”. And so, this 7th Abomination has to do with sowing discord“among brethren”.
.
It is those wolves in sheep’s clothing who have entered God’s sheepfold, and are “among brethren”, leading these unsuspecting brethren astray.
And so, to put it concisely, this counterfeit religious system of the Antichrist Beast is merely the spirit of the world, with all its ungodly traits, being brought into the Church. These are the seven heads (kings) of the Antichrist Beast. And of course, the eighth king is Satan himself!
.
Now these seven heads could be defined even more precisely! But that will have to be for a later discussion.
.
But to sum up today’s devotional, let it be said that this information gives us a greater understanding of how “the god of this world”, Lucifer (now called “Satan”, “The Devil”, and “The Dragon”) works in this, his antichrist world-system.

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Ariesand Pisces.

Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the CetusConstellation.

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

THE OCTOPUS

Now, there are a few other creatures which have eight limbs.

The Octopus immediately comes to mind. Could God have given the Octopus ten tentacles? Of course He could have!

But God again wants to give us an illustration of Satan, and how he works.

Just look at how the Octopus’ limbs have suction cups!
.
This amazing phenomenon is an awesome illustration of how Satan’s various ways of deception can grip tightly upon his victims!
.
And of course, both the Octopus and Satan poison their victim.
.
Another allegorical aspect to an Octopus, is the way it will shoot a jet of black ink, in order to escape from a pursuer.
.
Does not Satan use a cloak of darkness to erase himself out of existence?
.
And for centuries, Satan has used ink and paper to deceive the world with false ideologies!
.
Yes, the deceptive ideologies which men have written down in innumerable books, magazines, etc., have greatly obscured Satan’s existence, misdirecting humans from the true nature of this satanic world!

Satan, “the god of this world”, has literally erased himself from the minds of men, via world’s deceptive literature! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)
So, this little illustration presents a great big truth. Yes, Jesus was telling the Pharisees this account, so as to illustrate how Satan can take some secular person and turn him into a much more evil person.

Now he is a religious man, symbolized by the addition of “7 more devils” (he doesn’t literally have 7 more devils, but merely figuratively).
.
Oh yes, he is still unconverted! But Satan has now given him a form of godliness, but with merely a counterfeit “holy spirit”!
.
And so, this is the big point of the number eight. It is 7 + 1. Satan plus his counterfeit religiosity, represented by God’s number of spiritual rest, “7”.
“Dear Lord, Help me to understand the true workings of this very deceiving world! Help me to become so savvy as to what is going on all around me, that I no more am deceived…

SEVEN HEADS of the DRAGON
.
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12
.

This Dragon Constellation does not have 7 heads and 10 horns and 7 crowns, as this above verse speaks of.
.
But the wave of water coming out of the Dragon’s mouth has these numbers, 7 and 10, according to the brightness of the stars which comprise the wave of water.
.
That is, this wave of water has 10 basic stars (#1 thru #10).
.
But the main body is comprised of 7 stars, leaving three lesser stars at the tip of the wave (#’s 8, 9, 10).
.
So we have a 7/3 division in the star-count on this wave of water. You can somewhat see this in the sketch to the right.

Just notice that the main body of this wave has 7 stars (#1 thru #7).
.
But the very tip of the curl has 3 little stars (#’s 8, 9, 10).(there are actually 7 more very faint stars in a long string, just under the curl as well, stars: a, b, c, d, e, f, g, which brings the total number of stars to 17.)

So God has created this wave of water to give us much insight into just what those heads and horns and crowns all represent on the Revelation 13 Beast.

Do you see the optical illusion? Doesn’t this web photo appear as a tunnel? If you go surfing through the world-wide web for pictures of spider webs, they often do have the appearance of being a tunnel (well, the good ones do).

And it is not hard to imagine that this 3-dimensional, tunnel-like, optical-illusion, deceives the little bug into thinking that he (or she) is going through a tunnel, when he (or she) is actually flying into a deadly trap!
And also, have you ever heard that well-known saying by those who are involved in spiritualism: “Look for the light at the end of the tunnel”? It kind-of reminds one of this photo of a spider-web, with its host.

And just like this spider-web, so also, those who dabble in such magic arts will eventually discover that the light and also the tunnel of their spiritualism, was just an optical illusion too, just like this spider-web photo.

WEB OF DECEIT IN GOD’S HOUSE

Well, the occult isn’t the only place which is an optical illusion like the spider web! Even in Christian gospels, that wily old spider, Satan, has spun his deadly web in the form of counterfeit gospels.
.
Oh yes, those prosperity-driven gospels, today, promise to be “a light at the end of the tunnel”, but are merely a cleverly designed trap: a web of deceit, to ensnare and entangle the unwary soul, who naively flies right into them!
But it’s not just the far-out liberal prosperity gospels, which promise you riches, health, and family-peace, if only you “plant your seed” in the form of generous financial offerings!
But the fact is, even the so-called “Conservative” gospels are mostly a devilish deception as well. They too, are a cleverly designed web of entanglement. Oh no, these conservative gospels do not promote the notion of planting seed money in some get-rich “Heavenly” Ponzi-scheme! No, no! They scoff at those liberal gospels that preach such nonsense!

But the conservative, prosperity-driven gospels preach about having an “entrepreneurial spirit”, and about honesty and patriotism, and good citizenship, etc..
.
But just like the “Name-it-and-claim-it” gospels, they too, promote the same self-seeking for financial affluence which led to the decadence and ultimate destruction of Sodom! Yes, it was Sodom’s opulence and pride which led Sodom to eventually embrace its abominable perversions.
.
“Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom,
pride, FULLNESS OF BREAD, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters,
neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.”
Ezekiel 16:49
.
And it is the same pride and love of opulence which destroyed Lot’s wife and is just now leading our present culture down the same path as Sodom! And so, the bottom line to both these groups, conservative or liberal, is an earthly prosperity-driven gospel!
(Oh yes, these prosperity ideologies may be fine for the people of the world to pursue, but the Christian’s great focus and chief desire is now to be Heavenward, seeking to be transformed into the image of Christ.)
Listen to Paul, as he describes the apostate condition which can overtake many professing Christians…“(churchgoers) supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.” 1st Timothy 6:5
.
Yes, there are many who suppose that gain is godliness. This has more or less become the condition of today’s church-world, either liberal or conservative. And Paul here says to withdraw yourself from such!
.
Listen as Paul continues…
“But godliness with contentment is great gain.
For we brought nothing into this world,
and it is certain we can carry nothing out.
And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.”
1st Timothy 6:6-8.
Now just how often do we hear this being preached or followed? Not very often!
.
And Paul continues on to tell us the horrible results of our seeking after earthly opulence…
“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare,
and into many foolish and hurtful lusts,
which drown men in destruction and perdition.
For the love of money is the root of all evil:
which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith,
And so, those of us who think we can serve the Lord, while at the same time live for the pleasures, prosperity, and proud pursuits which this opulent society also seeks after, we are as caught in sin as much as the proverbial fly is caught in that spider’s web!

And so, the morale of this little devotional is, that whatever heavenly concept which happens to be preached in a congregation is meaningless, if the congregation is not personally striving for that same heavenly quality of spiritual life!
.
Because, truth, when mingled with the worldliness, becomes seven times more deceptive than blatant, overt sin!
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not. But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars. The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

7 STARS RIDING IN THE CRADLE

“But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.” James 1:6

As of November, 2012, it has become evident that there is another very frightening aspect to this wave of water. As you can see in this sketch, there are seven stars which comprise the trough or valley, or cradle of this wave. This area of the wave, is where an object would logically be swept away or carried away by an actual wave of water in the ocean. Since there are seven stars (letters a,b,c,d,e,f,g) in this valley or cradle, this would indicate that seven stars are probably symbolizing God’s people being swept away by Satan’s Wave of Lying Waters Constellation.

If you’ve ever been to the ocean, you’ve probably heard the sound of gulls, as they fly back and forth along the shoreline.
.
Many people enjoy the sounds of the ocean and the gulls together. And it’s no accident that our Creator has combined these two sounds, the crashing waves with the searching gulls. It has a timeless serenity about it.
.
And many have resorted to the healing properties which the ocean seems to have, to heal from some change, tragedy, or loss in their life.
.
To walk along, and stop and sit on a large driftwood, and hear the searching gulls and the crashing waves, just seems to bring tranquility to the wounded and hurting soul.
But beside the sheer serene beauty of the ocean and the ever-present gulls, these birds can be wonderful teachers of spiritual truth!
.
Yes, the Bible says we have…“ten thousand instructors in Christ” 1st Corinthians 4:15.And gulls are just one example of those ten thousand teachers which Paul spoke of.
.
This is because gulls, like every other work of God’s wisdom, have aspects about them, which makes them living parables, confirming what the Bible already says!
And because gulls are what the Bible calls “unclean beasts”, these gulls also have some negative aspects about them!
.
To see the gulls in a frenzy, as they fight for some food, is perhaps somewhat comical. And yet it is an amazing scenario of the human condition, as we ourselves, so often, also go greedily after the things of the world!
.
Those who work in large corporations can attest to all the pushing, shoving, backstabbing and ambitious stepping on the backs of others, merely to get ahead! And to watch an aggressive and dominating seagull begin to peck at the other gulls, until they all tuck their heads in submission, reminds us of the pride and self-dominance which humans so often exert over others.
Well, the ocean and the gulls can be a wonderful place for a person to make up their mind to get out of this rat-race which this self-seeking world so often is and begin to sojourn upon that upward pathway which Jesus has provided!

And to walk along the shoreline, as the gulls make their never-ending search for morsels of food, has provided the perfect backdrop for those who might be hungering after God’s love, and for His eternal life and everlasting rest!
“Dear Lord, Help me to disengage from all the selfish grabbing for things that so often occurs in this world! Help me to be like Jesus, who laid His life down, to give to others…
“And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman,
that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.
When the waves of death compassed me…
THE FLOODS OF UNGODLY MEN made me afraid.
The sorrows of Hell compassed me about…”

Some poet once said, “A picture paints a 1,000 words”.And it is so true!
.
Here’s an idea for those of us who must go into grocery and department stores. Why not get a pocket Bible, and mark a certain reading for every day of the year. And then, when you have to wait in line, just pull it out and study the verses for that day’s date! And then you won’t have to fumble around for something to read. You simply go to the verses for that particular day’s reading.
.
Not only will you be hiding God’s Word in your heart, but you will be reminding those around you, to study their Bible too!
And of course, this can be done in many different situations in everyday life. Waiting for a bus. Riding in the bus. Taking a break at work or school. Waiting at the doctor’s office. And in so many other situations of life.
.
And in this society, people will mostly conclude you are studying the Bible. And so, it becomes a very effective witnessing tool to those around you, both Believers and unbelievers alike! And for people to see somebody studying their Bible speaks perhaps more eloquently than a bible-tract. After all, many everyday people grew up in a Christian home. And for them to see somebody else reading their Bible, might just trigger old childhood memories, thus reminding them how far away they’ve drifted from the Lord!
.
And then, if somebody happens to make a comment, you might want to have a little tract ready to give them. Or not.
Now somebody might criticize you for “being proud” about your religion. Well, isn’t it worth the gamble? After all, pride can come upon us even without reading our Bible in public! Pride can take hold of us during any circumstance!
.
And one other benefit of reading your Bible in checkout lines is, that you won’t be so tempted to look at all those grotesque magazines which usually “adorn” the checkout lines.
.
And so, such an addition to one’s daily regimen, seems like a real “win-win” program!
The pagan cultures saw this incredible constellation as a hunter, with a club. Well, they weren’t too far off. Actually, God created it to appear like a soldier. This is because all nature presents aspects of the Gospel. Listen… “The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.” Psalm 19:1.

And so now we are amazed to discover that beyond the awesome grandeur of the starry night-heavens, God has actually written the Love of God in the heavenly scroll.
Orion Constellation can best be seen all winter (but even in August in the pre-dawn hours of morning in eastern skies) traveling east to west through the night, in mid-sky.
.
To find the seven major stars of Orion (one star on each shoulder and one star on each foot, plus the three stars which make his belt), you can locate on just about any clear night regardless of the blackness of the night. To find Orion’s other stars, you need more star-visibility…a darker, moonless night, and possibly away from city lights.

“There was a little elderly lady, a faithful church attendee, who always seemed to have something nice to say about any and every person. She even had nice things to say about church-members who were not, well, not very nice!
.
But one day, two church-deacons were discussing this “overly-gracious” little lady, and one deacon finally said to the other, ‘I think I can get her to say something unkind!’ And so he approached the kind-hearted little elderly lady, and said, ‘Well, what do you think about Satan?’ And the gracious little lady paused, and looked a little troubled for a moment.
.
But then, after a few more moments, her eyes again sparkled, and her smile returned, as she leaned close and confided with the man, ‘Well, he’s a very hard worker, you know!'”
And isn’t it true, that Satan is a very hard worker! And if one looks at the people of this Luciferian-antichrist-world-system, it is no wonder that, for the most part, this is a very hard-working world!
.
And for those who are disabled or low-energy persons, it sometimes gets annoying to hear people brag about how hard-working they are!
.
Yes, the people of this world like to, “blow the trumpet”, quite often, and proudly proclaim their self-righteous work-ethics.
Yes, it’s a hard-working world, for the most part! There are very many industrious people here!
.
But does God look down on this work-a-day world with admiration and approval?
.
Well, listen to God’s assessment of the hard-working people of the world… “An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.” Proverbs 21:4
.
So, it says here that“the plowing of the wicked is sin”!
.
That’s right, God looks upon this wicked world, and even pronounces that, “the plowing of the wicked is sin”!
.
But how could this be? How can “good honest labor” be considered sin?
PRIDE AND SELFISHNESS MINGLED INTO ALL WE SAY, THINK, AND DO!
.
Well, perhaps this next verse might help… “All the labour of man is for his mouth,” Ecclesiastes 6:7.
.
So then, just like the beasts of the field, man must gather his food and provide his covering.
.
And the Bible also says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9
.
God does not look upon the outward things, as does Man. But “God looketh upon the heart” (1st Samuel 16:7).
.
God sees the motivations of our sinful, selfish hearts.
.
He knows what drives people to do this or that.
.
And God sees the pride and selfishness that is the driving force behind so much of what the people of this world do…“All the labour of man is for his mouth,” Ecclesiastes 6:7.

SATAN, THE GOD OF THIS WORLD
.
And He calls this world’s inhabitants, “children of the Devil”, as well. (see 1st John 3:10)
.
Yes, this world had been given to Lucifer, whom the Bible calls,“the god of this world.” 2nd Corinthians 4:4.
.
And so, being Satan’s kingdom, we might then logically conclude that Satan is the taskmaster of this entire world.
.
You see, Satan understands that he must keep the economy going throughout the world. Otherwise, he would have a rebellion on his hands.
.
And so, it is not hard to see that Satan and his angels are behind the inner-workings of this, his antichrist-world-system.
But the Good News is this: any man, woman, or child who desires to come out from the totalitarian control of the Spirit of Antichrist, can call on the name of the Lord.
.
And once that person begins to walk upward and Heavenward upon the Pilgrim’s Highway, “…a highway…called, ‘The Way of Holiness'”, then that person’s labor will now be done in righteousness!(see Isaiah 35:8)
.
Because that true worshipper of God will now be actuated by the Spirit of Holiness.
.
Then will God look down with approval on that Believer’s labor!

Well, the government requires a certain amount of vaccinations.
.
But why do vaccinations work?
.
Well, at least some of them give you a particular immunogen, which helps the system to build up a resistance to the infectious virus. “A hair of the dog that wants to bite you” so to speak.
Now, there are so many things in the world which can be looked upon metaphorically, in order to more clearly understand a spiritual principle. And being inoculated against viruses is no exception!
.
Yes, the Christian may experience a somewhat similar vaccination in his or her earthly pilgrimage. That is, quite often, the Lord will allow the Christian to experience a type of spiritual vaccination, so that a particular sin will never again fester and grow in that Christian’s heart!
Or have you ever had the memory of a certain sin come back again and again to plague you? And whenever you remember that sinful act, you cringe in horror and disgust at yourself for committing that sin? Well, that’s just God’s way of inoculating you against repeating that sin.
.
Listen… “Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions:
and my sin is ever before me.”
Psalm 51:2, 3
.
Yes, David here is pleading with God for a thorough cleansing from his sin. And his sin is haunting him day and night! Listen again… “my sin is ever before me!”
“For they have healed the hurt of the daughter of My people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.”
Jeremiah 6:14 & 8:11
.
There is a popular teaching in today’s apostate church-world, that says… “Oh, just ask God to forgive you, and that’s the last time you’ll ever have to think about that sin again!”
.
Well, such an idea is pure nonsense! God may forgive me right away. But He may also allow the Devil to haunt me over that sin for many years! Because God wants to inoculate me against ever committing that sin again!
.
Oh yes, Satan is very happy to plague me, hoping that I will get discouraged with God and His chastenings!
.
But God allows the Devil to do this, so that my heart will eventually become thoroughly cleansed and stronger in my faith.
“The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways:” Proverbs 14:14
.
Or, when it comes to “everyday sins”, such as anger, gluttony, pride, or any other common occurrence, the Lord may just allow the Devil to repeatedly tempt me to commit that sin, over and over again! And in my frustration, I keep begging and pleading with God to remove that sin forever! And such nagging sins may even cause me to doubt my Salvation!
.
And only God knows how long I may have to endure such tribulation.
.
But Jesus promises us that, “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.” John 16:33.
.
As this passage reveals, Jesus won the victory on our behalf! But God will still bring us through many trials and much tribulation!
.
Trials such as Peter here went through, in this old painting. And it’s not hard to imagine that he grieved for many years about his sin of denying Jesus. But in the end, Peter got the privilege of dying on a Cross for his beloved Lord!
“…forgetting…things…behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before”
Philippians 3:13
.
Now having said all this, we also must resist the Devil whenever he attacks for whatever reason he does so. Thus, we must always pray for strength to handle such attacks even as Paul.
.
Listen to Paul’s great attitude…
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:
but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind,
and reaching forth unto those things which are before…”
Philippians 3:13
.
We must cry out for grace to get our minds back upon Jesus and His wonderful Word as soon as we possibly can!
And let’s not forget that Peter found out by experience, that his fiery trials were only for his ultimate good…
.
Listen to Peter…
“if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire,
might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
1st Peter 1:6, 7
.
Yes, God will only put upon us that which is needful, as this above passage reveals. And if we endure these trials, God will finally purify us, even as precious gold is purified, so that we can say along with Job…“when He (God) hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
.
And very soon, we will walk up and down those everlasting streets of gold, and we will be filled with joy and peace for evermore!
