…”You may be an ambassador to England or France…

…You may like to gamble, you might like to dance…

…You may be the heavyweight champion of the world…

…You may be a socialite with a long string of pearls…”

…”But you’re gonna have to serve somebody, yes…

…Indeed you’re gonna have to serve somebody…

…Well, it may be the Devil or it may be the Lord…

“Choose ye this day whom ye will serve!”

Joshua 24:15

These above lyrics declare that each and every human must serve someone (Pretty good sentiments coming out from the world!).

.

Oh yes, “the god of this world” has successfully convinced most of the world that “you don’t have to serve someone!”

.

In other words, Lucifer, ”the god of this world”, has created this antichrist world-system in which we believe we can merely live our selfish lives free from the laws of Heaven!

.

Free from religion!

.

But as the songster sang…

…”Indeed you’re gonna have to serve somebody…

…Well, it may be the Devil or it may be the Lord…

…But you’re gonna have to serve somebody…”

“No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other…”

This inescapable truth (That you must serve either God or Satan) is most vividly displayed as we sadly and horrifically behold all the woe and misery and destruction and death of this hopeless-world-of-selfish-desires.

.

In other words, even though we may not actually see a literal “god of evil”, the Devil, we can nevertheless behold his long train of hate, and violence, and lust, and greed, and revenge, and witchcraft, sorcery, and all the other results of mankind’s selfish ways!

.

“He that is not with Me is against Me: and he that gathereth not with Me, scattereth”

Luke 11:23

But today’s article will focus on the big lie, that we can live independent of both, the “God of Heaven”…

.

…and also live independent of “the god of this world” Lucifer. (2nd Corinthians 4:4)

.

No, we just cannot escape belonging to one religious system or another.

.

At this point, someone will undoubtedly jump up and declare…

…”Well, I’m not a member of any religious group…

…I’m a secularist! I’m even an atheist…

…I don’t follow Mohammed, or Buddha, or Joseph Smith, or Jesus, or anyone else…

…I only follow reason, and logic, and science…

…I’m a good person, and I don’t need anyone’s religion!”

.

The fact is, that atheism is also a belief system, based upon faith in certain unprovable ideas: the belief that God doesn’t exist…

.

…the nonsensical belief that all this grand universe’s beauty, majesty, and law & order were the mindless creation from nothingness! 

.

.

.

“And they (the peoples of the world) worshipped the dragon (Satan)…”

Revelation 13:4

.

Mankind was created to worship God alone.

.

But in our rebellion against Heaven, we have unknowingly chosen to worship “the god of this world”, Satan (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4).  

.

Oh no, few people will acknowledge this fact. Most are ignorant of this fact.

.

And yet, truth-be-told, 100% of the world’s citizens are religious in the truest sense of the word!

.

They either worship the “God of Heaven”…or they worship “the god of this world”!

.

And because the world has rejected the Law of God, the Bible, they are now accepting Satan’s lies, making those false, humanistic ideas their own special catechism of atheism’s religious-doctrinal-beliefs!

And the Bible further explains…

…”Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air,

the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience…”

Ephesians 2:2

Here is revealed that Lucifer now titled as “Satan” is the controlling spirit, “which now works in the children of disobedience”. Ephesians 2:2.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

Proverbs 25:25

But amidst this disconcerting news, there exists some incredibly “Good News”!

.

Yes, there is a way of escape from the captivity of Satan’s prison-house of hopelessness, sin, and delusion, and from false religion of every type!

.

And those who wish to renounce this very deceptive world of evil and sadness, can begin a spiritual sojourn up the pathway to everlasting life…

.

…in the soon-coming Promised Land, the New Heaven, and the New Earth, in which we will be forever happy, and forever young!

.

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation.

.

Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing.

.

In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left.

.

In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It has a snowcapped top.

.

Then find the second snowcap to its right (south).

.

Then go a little further south to the third snow-cap which is the Destroying Mountain Constellation.
