Come Out of Her, My People!

Part 60:
“Remember the 6th Commandment Too!”

“Now suppose two men are fighting,
.
and in the process they accidentally strike a pregnant woman so she gives birth prematurely.
.
If no further injury results,
.
the man who struck the woman must pay the amount of compensation the woman’s husband demands and the judges approve.
.
But if there is further injury, the punishment must match the injury:
.
a life for a life”

WHAT DOES GOD SAY?
.
Even though abortion has been legal in America for a number of decades, there is still a great divide in western societies over this issue.
.
But just what does the Bible say about abortion? That’s the really important question!
.
What does God have to say about this very controversial issue?
.
.

.
“THOU SHALT NOT KILL”
.
Of course, the very first passage which comes to mind is the 6th Commandment…”Thou shalt not kill.” Exodus 20:13
.
And Jesus, during His earthly sojourn, said it this way…”Thou shalt do no murder.” Matthew 19:18
.
The problem is, many people have somehow convinced themselves that this commandment doesn’t apply to unborn children. “It’s just a hunk of flesh”, they disingenuously proclaim.
.
But the Bible reveals that this so-called, “hunk of flesh” is actually a child!
.
After all, in Genesis 38:24, a young lady named Tamar, was said to be, “with child”, only three months after conception.
.

So where else does Scripture speak to this very controverted issue?

JOHN MEETS JESUS AND LEAPS FOR JOY!
.
Listen to this next passage from Luke’s Gospel concerning two babies in their two mothers’ wombs…
…”For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy (Mary’s) salutation,
sounded in mine (Mary’s cousin, Elizabeth) ears,
the babe (John the Baptist) leaped in my womb for joy.”
Luke 1:44
.
Here was the young virgin, Mary, going to her cousin Elisabeth’s home, just days after she was told that she was with child, the baby Jesus.
.
And Elisabeth (who was six months along with her own baby, John the Baptist), exclaimed to Mary that she felt John leap in her (Elisabeth’s) womb for joy because Jesus had entered the home of Elisabeth.
.
So now it is established that Jesus, although newly conceived, was already a living soul within Mary’s womb.
.
And John, six months along in his mother’s womb, was able to think, reason, and even to leap for joy because the Holy Spirit informed him that the Savior of the world was in the house.
.
And so, this passage should dispel the popular notion that a newly conceived child is merely “a hunk of flesh”, as many abortion advocates would have us to believe.
.
Yes, Mary was probably only a few weeks with child, and yet Jesus was very present.
.
But also, being only six months in Elisabeth’s womb, John’s actions prove that a child in the womb is able to think and even experience joy!
.

“…neither be partaker of other men’s sins: keep thyself pure”
1st Timothy 5:22
.
Those Christians who support political parties and/or candidates who will vote for abortion, may indeed share in the guilt of murder, when standing before the Judge.
.
Yes, just like David, when he allowed his second-in-command to murder Uriah, an innocent man, God charged David with murder, just as if he had physically committed that heinous deed!
.
So also, whether it be a political party, or even a church which commissions abortions, the Christian who knowingly supports such organizations should really consider if he or she is sharing in the murder of innocent little children.
.

“Hands That Shed Innocent Blood”
Proverbs 6:17
.
And so, from these passages it is clear that God has given enough information in the Bible for all truth-seekers to realize that abortion is indeed, murder.
.
And yet, God has supplied those who are dishonest in heart, with enough “pegs to hang their doubts upon”.
.
But really, the people of the world all realize that abortion prevents that child from entering the world. And deep down they realize what abortion is: dirty rotten murder!
.

THE GOOD NEWS OF SALVATION
.
Nevertheless, for those who have already committed this heinous sin, there is hope!
.
Yes, even the great Apostle, Paul, was guilty of murder, prior to his conversion. And God forgave him.
.
And King David was likewise a murder, and yet, God forgave him as well.
.
And so, those who have committed the grievous sin of killing that life in their womb can come to Jesus and plead for His forgiveness just like David did. (read Psalm 51).
.

TODAY’S HEAVENLY SIGN

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON
.
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads.”
Revelation 12:3
.
In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7/10 numbering.
.
And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.
.
Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
