BEAUTY, POETRY, WISDOM & LAWS

ALL TESTIFY OF OUR CREATOR!
.
Instead of arguing about the technical issues in the debate between Evolution and Creation, there are seven powerful witnesses all which testify in behalf of a divine Creator.
.
And so, in Part 1 (click here), it was put forth that in all of nature, there are four witnesses, who all testify on behalf of the Creator! Beauty, Poetry, Wisdom, and Laws, all stand up and speak so eloquently in defense of nature’s God!
.
And it would seem, that any doubter or skeptic, who would open his or her mind to carefully consider the testimony of these four very persuasive witnesses, would eventually come to the same conclusion: there has to be a Creator, who is filled with these same qualities:

God, the Creator of nature’s beauty.

God, the Creator of nature’s poetry.

God, the Creator of nature’s wisdom.

God, the Creator of nature’s law & order.

3 MORE WITNESSES!

NATURE’S BEAUTY

But today’s devotional wants to focus more on the beauty found in nature.
.
Because it is really difficult to believe evolutionists’ claim that the universe is the result of some giant cosmic accident which brought about such a grand and beautiful universe!
.
Just look at all the beauty nearly everywhere! From the tiniest atom to the greatest galaxy, and beyond, the universe is filled with countless things of beauty.
.
But instead of attempting to explain nature’s witness of beauty, just look at a few pictures and allow them to eloquently argue in behalf of our Creator God.

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON
.
“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23
.

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.
.
So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
.
However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).
.
