How To Get Ourselves Back to the Garden

every tree that is pleasant to the sight,
and good for food;
the tree of life also in the midst of the Garden,
and the tree of knowledge of good and evil”

The above verse from Genesis reveals that God originally placed mankind in a beautiful garden in which they could grow and thrive.
.
And that incredibly wonderful garden was to be the rapturous paradise in which people could live and thrive without fear of growing old, nor of dying, nor of the countless tragedies, wars, murders, robberies, and countless heartaches which this present fallen world suffers daily!

But tragically, Lucifer, the fallen spirit-being, led his rebellion down to this earth, causing mankind to be driven out into a dark, sin-cursed world.

Oh yes, many tokens of the earth’s original beauty still remain.

But that incredible Garden, mankind’s paradise-home, was destroyed, thus leaving mankind to remain in this fallen sin-cursed world.

Well, as we all know, that generation’s utopian-dream of making this world into some sort of Garden of Eden soon went the way of every futile dream which mankind may imagine!

Yes, instead of “bombers…turning into butterflies above our nation”, this entire utopian dream quickly disintegrated into billions of hopeless, carbon dust-particles.

Wars continued. Intolerance and indifference have increased. And the world is getting more violent and hopeless with each and every year since that 1960’s peace movement!

And that 1960’s generation has finally grown old and feeble and are rapidly dying off.

And each succeeding generation has grown increasingly jaded and hopeless of ever achieving a return to some man-made Garden of Eden.

And if that impossible dream’s failure was not sad enough, even now, a great percentage of today’s citizenry are actually clamoring to achieve some world-wide totalitarian socialist “utopia”!

And in this utopia, everybody can at last all join hands and sing (now-deceased) john Lennon’s signature song about achieving a glorious, one-world atheistic “paradise”…the song, of course is called, “Imagine”.

Yes, many survivors from that “peace-n-love generation” who once sang songs of peace, love, and freedom, are now crying out for a governmental totalitarian censorship against anyone who dares speak out against their leftist-socialist ideals. Unbelievable? Yes!

Yes, Mankind seems to desperately desire to “get ourselves back to the Garden”!

But they would like to get there on their own terms. In other words, they want to get there with all their selfish wares-n-ways intact!

But of course, our selfishness is how we got into this troubled-world-mess in the first place! We were definitely “caught in the Devil’s bargain”, as the songsters sang!

LAST-DAY TOTALITARIAN TYRANNY FORETOLD IN SCRIPTURE

And there is little doubt that this current-day effort to cause a world-wide “Great Reset”, is actually being orchestrated by unseen evil angels!

And their masterplan is to bring about the long foretold “Mark of the Beast” test, which is coming upon the whole world to try the hearts of each and every man, woman, and child!

Listen…“…the image of the beast should both speak,
and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

As we look out upon the political and social landscape, it takes little effort to realize that this world is rapidly transforming itself a totalitarian dystopia. And mankind now has the ability to forbid anyone from buying or selling, as this above passage foretells.

But the Good News is, that for all those who desire to “get ourselves back to the Garden”, there is a Way to that Promised Land of peace and brotherly love!

“For the LORD shall comfort Zion:

and her desert like the garden of the LORD;
joy and gladness shall be found therein,
thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.”

Here is just one of the “exceeding great and precious promises” of God. 2nd Peter 1:4.

And once again, those who truly “follow the Lamb” of God will, one day soon, be transported to the paradise of God…“To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.” Revelation 2:7
.
This, my friend, is the only way to “get ourselves back to the Garden”!

But the wonderful truth is, that we don’t even have to wait for that reality!

and happy is every one that retaineth her.”

Yes, here we have the recipe for pleasantness and peace! And those who begin to search God’s Word, as for hid treasure, will find that that the Garden exists already in his or her heart!
