saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…
And I heard another voice from Heaven,
saying, Come out of her, My people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

And so, let’s pick up where we left off in yesterday’s devotional (click here to read)…

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”
.
But there is coming a day (and now is), when God will call His p
eople out of the local congregations, reminding us of when He called His people out of the synagogues, some 2,000 years ago.
.
But this call has been somewhat written in veiled language.
.
Listen to this call… “Babylon the great is fallen…Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:1, 4

“NOT FORSAKING THE ASSEMBLING”
.
God’s people have attempted to congregate together for 2,000 years, in obedience to the command… “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
.
And so, the Church was commanded to congregate together, and, “so much the more, as ye see the day approaching!”

AS WE SEE, WHAT DAY APPROACHING?
.
Yes, the Church was commanded to congregate together, and, “so much the more, as ye see the day approaching!”
.
But the question to be asked is this: “As we see WHAT day approaching?”
.
Well, the general consensus is, that Christ’s Return is the day approaching! But prior to Christ’s Return comes the day which Habakkuk foretold… “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.” Habakkuk 2:2, 3
.
Yes, prior to Christ’s Coming is the day which Habakkuk foretold of in which we are to “RUN!”

A GOOD WAY OUT!
.
But has that day arrived, when the wicked surround the righteous?
.
Are the unbelieving people of the world demanding to educate Christian children? And are Christian children glued to their high-tech devices? Has the television become the centerpiece of our homes?
.
Now, someone will undoubtedly say… “Well, God tells us that we cannot come out of the world!”
.
Oh yes it’s true, we cannot come entirely out of the world! But we can indeed come a good way out, if we choose to do so!
.

.
“BE YE SEPARATE!”
.
The fact is, Satan’s false shepherds have been deceiving God’s people, by telling us to develop personal relationships with unbelievers, as a means of evangelizing them.
.
But more often than not, the only one who gets evangelized is that naive Christian who becomes worldly-minded as a result of such forbidden relationships!
.
Listen to Paul’s warning to be separate from all such mixed relationships… “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?…Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord…” 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17, 18 (condensed)
.
God is now calling His people to come out of the Babylonish church-world.
.
After 2,000 years of mingling together, we can now see that Satan’s ability to corrupt God’s people is far too easy, when we congregate together with false brethren and unbelievers.

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE!”
.
But now, we have a command from the Lord… “Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20
.
This above passage seems to go against all God’s previous advice to, “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.” Hebrews 10:25
.

RIPE FOR JUDGMENT!

The earth is ripe for Judgment!
.
Iniquity abounds, everywhere we look! The churches no longer tolerate sound doctrine!
.
Instead of wholeheartedly seeking to die-with-Christ, the church is greatly distracted by seeking earthly prosperity and pleasure! (For an in-depth study into the apostasy within the church-world, read, “Fleeing to the Mountains: The Abomination in the Church, Part 1”)
.
As this not-very-funny cartoon shows, is a typical Christian, all caught up in the cares and pleasures of life, totally oblivious of the impending destruction coming!

Listen to this following warning given by Jesus… “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.” Luke 21:34-36

VERY VERY GOOD NEWS!
.
But the very Good News is, that the gates of Hell shall not prevail against the true Church (God’s Elect dispersed throughout the world!)
.
No, God has determined that we are to finally come out of Babylon!
.
Listen… “And he (the angel) cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.'” Revelation 18:2, 4
.
So here is the call to God’s people to come out of Babylon.
.
And from what has already been discussed, we must begin the work of heart purification, which we have long neglected! But by God’s great mercy and grace, we are assured the victory, if we, “faint not”!

DOUBLE ENTENDRE OF REVELATION 12 WOMAN

“For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the Church: and He is the Savior of the body.” Ephesians 5:23

This page concerns the constellation which is commonly known as “The Big Dipper” and the “Great Bear”. It actually appears in the summer months as a woman travailing in child-birth. God has purposely given her no head. But God did this to present a very important concept.
.
Yes, this woman represents the Church, the, “Jerusalem above, which is free, and is the mother of us all” (see Galatians 4:26).
.
You see, the single star she is giving birth to typifies the Christ child. Reading in Ephesians that Christ is the “head” of the Church, this single star is logically going to become her head. But how will that be accomplished? .
.
WOMAN FLIPS AROUND IN WINTER
.
Now, if this Woman-in-Travail were all that the Lord created in the heavens, it would be nothing short of amazing! But God, in His infinite power and majesty, has made this a great sign in Heaven, just as Revelation 12 proclaims. Because as the summer passes, this constellation begins to slowly flip around, until the stars representing her arms now become her legs. And the stars that once represented her legs now become her arms. And finally, it appears as the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12. And at that point, this single little star in her womb-area, representing the Christ-child, now becomes her head! And of course, this reminds us of the passage… “And He (Christ) is the head of the body, the Church…” Colossians 1:18.
