Who Are The 144,000?

and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand,

having His Father’s name written in their foreheads…

These are they which were not defiled with women;

for they are virgins.

These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.

These were redeemed from among men,

being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

And in their mouth was found no guile:

for they are without fault before the throne of God”

SO-CALLED “LITERALISTS” 

.

…At this point, a very important truth needs to be understood. You see, it is very sad that the greater portion of Christendom have locked themselves out of much of the Old Testament because of an unbiblical false doctrine, named by theologians as, “The Historical-Grammatical Method of Interpretation”

.

This false and unbiblical doctrine demands that Scripture must be interpreted literally, unless context demands a spiritual interpretation.

.

But the problem with this idea is that it is not supported by the Bible! No, nobody has been able to find anything in the Bible which is a “Thus saith the Lord, Ye shall not interpret the Bible spiritually unless context demands a spiritual interpretation”. This verse is not found in the Bible, but was concocted by fallible, erring theologians!

.

And so, the teachers of the apostate portion of the Church use this false hermeneutic whenever convenient. But of course, if they wish to ignore this hermeneutic, they freely ignore it. And thus, in addition to being a false doctrine, it also has become a great source of hypocrisy within the churches.

BIBLE CLOSED OFF

One of the great problems with this false hermeneutic is that large portions of the Bible have been closed up to the adherents of this bad hermeneutic!

But the Bible is a spiritual book.

.

And though there are many openly spiritual statements in the Bible, there are many earthly historical accounts and many symbolic statements in the Bible…

.

BIBLE, A SPIRITUAL BOOK

.

Of Jesus it is written…“Give ear, O My people, to My law: incline your ears to the words of My mouth. I will open My mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old…”

Psalm 78:1, 2

.

Therefore, when we read of Samson, or of Job, or many other literal accounts, we must understand that those true historical events were orchestrated by God to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ, howbeit, veiled in types, symbols, and prophetic utterances. And in order to rightly understand the true meaning, the Bible must be searched, for related passages, “which the Holy Ghost teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual.” 1st Corinthians 2:13

OVERTLY SPIRITUAL STATEMENTS

.

And so, in essence, the Bible is a spiritual book, and context always demands a spiritual interpretation.

.

Oh yes, as already stated, many statements are already overtly spiritual, and are not symbolic, such as this well-known verse, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life!” John 3:16.

.

We don’t see anything symbolic here, do we? It is an openly spiritual statement.

HEAVENLY JERUSALEM

.

But when we read the Old Testament prophets, much of their writings seem obsolete, because they are speaking of God’s people living in Old Testaments times. But if we will follow proper Bible hermeneutics, we discover that Paul refers many times to the Church as “The Commonwealth of Israel”, or, “Jews”, or as, “The Israel of God”, or, “Jerusalem above”.

(For these three biblical names, see Ephesians 2:12, Galatians 6:16, & Galatians 4:26)

.

And so, by accepting these statements from Paul’s writings, we now see the spiritual meaning of those Old Testament prophecies. Thus, when we read about Israel, or Jerusalem, or Jews, we get a much broader understanding of those prophecies. We now see that they likewise apply to us today!

THE COMMONWEALTH of ISRAEL

.

Consequently, when Isaiah 33 speaks of, “The sinners in Zion are afraid”, we now realize it is speaking of Christians, made up of both Jew and Gentile alike!

.

Therefore, by finding the spiritual meaning of every passage of the Bible, the entire Bible opens up to us!

REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY

.

Of course, Satan would like the Church to remain in ignorance as to our true spiritual condition. And so, he has invented another false and unbiblical doctrine commonly referred to as, “Replacement Theology”.

.

And here again, neither is this name, “Replacement Theology”, found anywhere in Scripture, nor is this idea supported or confirmed anywhere in Scripture! It has been totally fabricated by Satan, and has found overwhelming acceptance by the apostate portion of the Church.

.

It is the false notion that anyone who takes Paul’s writings concerning New Testament Christians, both Jews and Gentiles now being, “The Commonwealth of Israel”, is guilty of adhering to, “Replacement Theology”, and is considered a heretic.

DECEIVED BY SATAN

Of course, this is sheer unbiblical nonsense. And the fact is, those who cling to such an unbiblical name (“Replacement Theology”), and disbelieve that we Christians are now the “Commonwealth of Israel” have been deceived by Satan and his counterfeit “ministers of righteousness” into believing this devilish heresy!

In other words, to ignore all the many Bible passages which establish that New Testament Believers, both Jew and Gentile are now the true Jews, is to reject God’s Word.

DISPENSATIONALISTS

.

Now, there are many who call themselves, “Dispensationalists”, who believe that the last 19 chapters of the Book of Revelation deal only with literal Israel.

.

That is, they believe that the Book of Revelation is an altogether different dispensation in which the New Testament era comes to an end, the Church has been Raptured into Heaven, and the world sort of reverts back to Old Testament Law and Covenant. And they validate this idea by saying that the Church is never spoken of in those last 19 chapters.

.

Of course, they have to make excuses for Revelation 22:16, which clearly states… “I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things IN THE CHURCHES.”

.

Yes, this verse indeed indicates that the things of the Book of Revelation do indeed concern events “in the churches”!

DISPENSATIONALISTS: UNABLE TO SPIRITUALLY DISCERN

.

Now here again is where that false Bible hermeneutic is proverbially, “pulled out of the closet”, to discount the Book of Revelation, saying it is irrelevant to God’s New Testament Church. In other words, so many within the apostate churches attempt to interpret Revelation as literally as possible.

.

For example, when prophecy speaks of, “the twelve tribes of Israel”, these so-called, “literalists”, attempt to interpret this as only concerning of the literal twelve tribes of literal Jews.

.

And they don’t even try to interpret this event spiritually, that this is actually speaking of, “the Commonwealth of Israel”, spoken of in Ephesians, concerning the New Testament Church, comprised of both Jews and Gentiles. (see Ephesians 2:12, 13)

.

Therefore, having said all this, let’s return to those 144,000 who stand with the Lamb on Mount Sion. Just who are they?

This above passage sings of Mount Zion, in the sides of the North!

But if one looks to the Northeast in late Summer and into Fall, there is a constellation which God created to be a heavenly picture of the Heavenly Mount Zion. And it is commonly known as Cassiopeia. But God has created it to symbolize the true Zion, which is in Heaven.

.

Listen…  “But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,” Hebrews 12:22

.

Yes, Jerusalem and Mount Zion here on earth are merely earthly types, to represent the true Heavenly Jerusalem and Mount Zion.

LOCATING HEAVENLY MOUNT ZION

But if the Reader will go out in August and well into November, this wonderful constellation can be seen in the Northeast night-sky. But don’t wait too long! Because once it enters the western sky, it flips upside down and can no longer be seen as a mountain.

.

Now, this constellation is the very same constellation as the Mount of Blessing Constellation in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group. And it represents the favored mountain to which the people of God are to climb.
