“O generation of vipers,

how can ye, being evil, speak of good things?

for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart

bringeth forth good things:

and an evil man out of the evil treasure

bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak,

they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”

In Part 1 (click here to listen), a brief mention was made of some of the various gospels which are now blowing in the wind, concerning Jesus. Yes, as the Bible warns, there are other Jesuses out there, which are merely counterfeits of the true Jesus!

But today’s devotional will stress the importance of the Believer’s commission to preach the true Jesus to others.

HOW TO ACCOMPLISH THIS?

So how in the world can we preach the wrong Jesus?

And just how do we preach the true Jesus?

TREASURE CHEST OF THE HEART

.

Well, to start with, our signature Bible passage for today presents a truth that affects and determines which Jesus we preach to others…

.

Listen to the fiery words of Jesus, recorded in Matthew’s Gospel…

“O generation of vipers,

how can ye, being evil, speak good things?

for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

A good man out of the good treasure of the heart

bringeth forth good things:

and an evil man out of the evil treasure

bringeth forth evil things.

But I say unto you,

That every idle word that men shall speak,

Herein is revealed a great error which many so-called Christians make on a daily basis! We do not realize that what we fill up our hearts with during our daily lives, will ultimately come gushing forth, when conversing with others!

.

In other words, by allowing our minds to dwell on un-Christian themes, we are inadvertently filling our treasure chest with un-Christlike thoughts, which will ultimately come gushing forth in our conversation with the people of the world!

A WALKING/TALKING NEWSREEL!

.

For example, if I allow myself to become a “News-Junkie”, and begin to gobble up every little news tidbit, each and every day, well, guess what will come gushing forth in my conversation with others? That’s right! I will become a walking/talking news gossip!

.

Of if I allow myself to become absorbed with some radio or TV talk show, then that’s what will come spilling out of my mouth when conversing with others!

“…THE MOUTH SPEAKETH!”

.

It’s the Bible truth, that, “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaketh”!

.

And so, in essence, by my un-Christlike conversation, I will be unknowingly preaching, “another Jesus”, like Mr. Ignorance here, from Pilgrim’s Progress, as he spouts off his foolish talk with the two Christians!

“Let your conversation (lifestyle) be without covetousness!”

.

If I allow the things of the world, the riches and pleasures of this life, to absorb my everyday thoughts, then that is what is being treasured up in my heart!

.

Listen…“Let your conversation (daily lifestyle) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5.

.

Yes, to really present the true Jesus to the world, our words and our lifestyle must be free of all love for earthly treasures and worldly pleasures!

.

THE GOOD NEWS!

.

Well, the Good News is, there is still time to correct such un-Christlike behavior!

.

Yes, there is still time to empty out the treasure-chest of our heart of all the evil things, and refill it with the good things, spoken of in our signature verses, from Matthew 12:34-36!

BEG & PLEAD FOR GOD’S GRACE!

(read James 4:4-10)

.

We just need to fall down before God’s throne and plead with Him to give us the grace to accomplish this! We must beg God for a thorough repentance from our wayward path, to return to the true pathway.

.

Look at this picture of David, sorrowing for his sins!

.

And with such a thorough repentance as this, we might once again fix our minds on Jesus, and allow His words of truth to once again become the theme of our thoughts, as we go about our daily duties!

TO BE KEPT IN, “PERFECT PEACE”!

.

Listen…“Thou [God] wilt keep him [the Believer] in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee!” Isaiah 26:3

.

This is one of the most wonderful promises of Scripture!

.

And we can have such a perfect peace, if we really want it!

.

TODAY’S PRAYER…

“Dear Lord, Help me to find the true Jesus. Your Word says, “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13. And so, give the grace which will cause me to forsake the things of this world, and cause me to seek for Thee, and Thee alone…

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON

.

This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours). In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter. The Wide Gate is made of the two brightest stars of this Wave of Water Constellation. Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies; which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony; or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).

On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God. Listen… “I [Jesus] am the Door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.” John 10:9

THE TWO PATHWAYS

.

“And unto this people thou shalt say, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.” Jeremiah 21:8.

.

As this above verse declares, God has set these two pathways before each human. And each human must decide which door he or she will enter. Nobody who has come into this has been overlooked. Listen… “[Jesus] was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.” John 1:9.

.

Now if this verse is correct, then Christ is the light that enlightens, “every man that comes into the world”. Christ is not just the light that enlightens SOME. But He is the light that enlightens EVERY man, woman and child who comes into the world; even those who have lived in remote places, throughout history. Every person has a conscience. And every man must choose who he or she will serve. This is what the Bible calls, “the way of life, and the way of death.” Jeremiah 21:8.
