Are you plagued by unwholesome thoughts and unwanted desires?

If there was some sort of truth serum that when taken, caused people to be totally honest, no doubt everyone would have to admit that they are plagued by unwholesome thoughts and desires at times.

MANKIND PLAGUED BY HORRIBLE THOUGHTS AND DESIRES

.

One popular radio preacher once made the observation, “If I knew what you were thinking and you knew what I was thinking, neither one of us would want anything to do with each other!”

.

Yes, the sad truth is, the human race has been plagued with wrong thoughts and wrong desires as long as this world has existed.

.

But why should anyone be surprised?

.

After all, this is a world of sin. Does anyone deny that it is?

.

SATAN COVERS HIS TRACKS WELL

.

Now, in spite of the fact that this is a world of sin, “the god of this world”, Lucifer (now called Satan and the Devil), is currently carrying on his deceptive stratagem of erasing himself out of existence in the minds of this world’s inhabitants.

.

Yes, Satan can get away with so much more evil if nobody believes he even exists. 

.

And so, in effort to erase his tracks, this master-deceiver has raised up various false sciences to successfully explain away various truths from the Bible.

.

And of course, the so-called “theory of evolution” has been perhaps, his greatest achievement!

.

CHEMICAL IMBALANCE OR DEVILISH DECEPTION?

.

But another false science is that of psychiatry.

.

And unfortunately, there are many people who have been deceived into believing that their mental problems are the result of so-called chemical imbalances in their brain.

.

Well, none of this has ever been proven scientifically (even though many in the psychiatric community enthusiastically claim otherwise.)

.

THE MEDICINE GETS THE CREDIT!

.

Now, countless humans are suffering under the torment of unseen evil angels, completely convinced that their “hopeless” malady is physical in nature.

.

And so, they must continue to rely on the medical community for help. And truth-be-told, Satan goes along with all this, since his main goal is to destroy faith in the Bible. And if the mental patient takes his or her medication Satan will withdraw his attacks for a time.

.

Thus the medical community gives credit to the “medicine”, and atheism is further bolstered by this false, satanically-created science.

THE SPIRIT OF ANTICHRIST

.

Now Satan uses the same strategy in the area of homosexuality, pedophilia, etc….

.

Over the past decades, Satan has convinced much of the world that these perverted lusts are from a physical deformity. But nothing could be further from the truth!

.

What people must understand is that the spirit of Antichrist is merely the spirit of this selfish world. And the entire unsaved human race is indwelt by that spirit.

.

Oh yes, for many, the “prince of the power of the air, that spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience”, will come as a benign spirit, causing them to behave very normal and well-adjusted in society.

.

Whether banker or beggar, doctor or druggie, this entire world’s unsaved populace is indwelt by the spirit of error, the spirit of antichrist! (Click here to see 1st John 4:1-6 as a proof-text)

SATAN WEARS MANY HATS!

.

But there are many with whom Satan is not so kind.

.

For some, this Antichrist spirit within them manifests itself as a mental disorder. But for others, this Antichrist spirit manifests itself in the form of such behavior as homosexuality, pedophilia, bestiality, etc….

.

Just listen to mankind’s hopeless condition…

And you hath He (God) quickened,

who were dead in trespasses and sins; 

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,

according to the ‘Prince of the Power of the Air’,

the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 

Among whom also we all had our conversation (lifestyle) in times past

in the lusts of our flesh,

fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind;

and were by nature the children of wrath,

even as others.”

Ephesians 2:1-3

Here is seen that it is actually “the Prince of the Power of the Air” which works with unbelievers to fulfill their lusts and pleasures!

.

And well, the list is seemingly endless as to just how Satan can vary his deceptions from person to person. 

.

But today’s devotional is mainly concerned with homosexuality, pedophilia, and other similar lusts.

THE MEN OF SODOM

Let’s not forget that on the last night of Sodom’s existence, the entire town desired to commit the act of sodomy.

.

Thus it could not have been a mere case of some deviant gene or some traumatic childhood experience which drove those men to desire to commit their heinous crime against Lot’s visitors.

.

No, by reason of the sheer numbers, it can be concluded that those multitudes of sodomizers were goaded on by unseen evil angels!

PLANET EARTH: EXPERIMENT IN SIN

The “god of this world”, Lucifer, now given the title, “The Devil”, and “Satan”, makes it his sole mission, to destroy the souls of as many humans as he can. And so, he brings various floods of evil upon the unsuspecting world.

.

And yet, God allows spiritual wickedness, in its various forms, to manifest itself, to show earth’s citizens the folly and unhappiness that ultimately results from these sinful lifestyles.

.

Listen to Scripture…“Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD” Lamentation 3:40

.

Yes, God wants mankind to search our sinful ways and try them. And when we finally realize that our pet sins are not bringing us happiness, God pleads with us to repent and, “turn again to the LORD. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the heavens.” Lamentation 3:40, 41

.

SOME REALLY GOOD NEWS!

Now when you really think about all this, it is really Good News!

.

After all, those who have suffered from these types of abhorrent behaviors should rejoice that their case is not hopeless!

.

No, the remedy for homosexuality and pedophilia, etc., is the very same remedy for any and every type of sin!

.

The Salvation of Christ!

.

Yes, those who afflicted by all those shameful desires can begin to plead with our merciful Savior for Salvation!

.

CONTINUE THE JOURNEY, O PILGRIM!

Now don’t imagine that Satan will give up so easily, once a person turns to Christ’s Salvation.

No, Satan may continue to tempt these delivered ones for years, just as he does with every sin!

.

But even though Satan will not easily give up, these tempted ones can begin to make their sojourn out of this hopeless world of lust and sin, ever climbing higher and closer to the Celestial City of God.

.

And the further up the heavenly trail, the less will be Satan’s ability to afflict them with his sore temptations.

.

And one day, these persevering ones will be able to say along with the Psalmist…

“I waited patiently for the LORD;

and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit,

out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a Rock,

and established my goings. 

And He hath put a new song in my mouth,

even praise unto our God:

many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”

FLEEING WOMAN CONSTELLATION

FROM WHERE &TO WHERE DOES SHE FLEE? WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ). However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen. It is actually a headless woman in childbirth.  This is seen in springtime. It is seen in the northern skies. 

.

But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward). The single star representing her birth-child (Christ) now becomes her head (“Christ is the head of the church.” Ephesians 5:23

The 7 Stars (Big Dipper) is easy to see with its very bright 7 stars. But the Revelation 12 Woman (Ursa Major) must be seen on a dark starry night, away from city lights.
