…And so, just what can a human do apart from God?

.

And what can a human do apart from the principalities and powers who rule this world?

.

EVEN RICHES ARE GIVEN BY GOD

.

Listen to this next passage… 

“Behold that which I have seen:

it is good and comely for one to eat and to drink,

and to enjoy the good of all his labour

that he taketh under the sun all the days of his life,

which God giveth him: for it is his portion.

Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth…”

Ecclesiastes 5:18, 19

.

As this above passage alludes, it is God who gives to each man (or woman) his portion of this world.

.

And to some, God has given earthly riches!

.

Even the various jobs that each man has, have been provided by the unseen rulers of this world.

.

THE GOD OF THIS WORLD, VERY BUSY!

.

Even Satan, “the god of this world” (Satan) realizes that he must keep his evil kingdom operational, in order to carry out his evil purposes.

.

Therefore, he’s also very much involved in the daily operation of this world!

.

So, we shouldn’t think that it is only Heaven directly involved in the day-by-day performance of humans.

.

Satan must do his part too!

.

Otherwise, the world would fall apart, and its citizens would eventually rebel against their master & commander, Satan, and turn back to God!

WHO ARE THE TRUE MOVERS & SHAKERS?

.

So then, as we look around at this world, and at all those so-called, “movers and shakers”, just how much credit actually goes to mere humans?

.

Oh, mankind would love to take credit! And they do!

.

But in reality, is it not the unseen powers who rule over this world, that really should get the credit?

.

Listen… “O LORD, I know that the way of Man is not in himself:

it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.”

Jeremiah 10:23

.

Here’s a huge revelation concerning Man’s inability to govern his (or her) own life!

GOD HAS MADE THE DUMB, DEAF, SEEING, AND BLIND…AND THE RICH

. 

Listen to Moses, as he complains to God because of his lack of speaking ability… 

.

But how does God answer Moses?

.

Listen…”And the LORD said unto him (Moses),

‘Who hath made man’s mouth?

or who maketh the dumb,

or deaf,

or the seeing,

or the blind?

have not I the LORD?

Now therefore go, and I will be with thy mouth, 

and teach thee what thou shalt say.'”

Genesis 4:11, 12

.

Here, God pulls back the curtain and reveals just who it is that gives humans their strengths and weaknesses.

.

Oh yes, Satan is busily giving certain humans their great powers, abilities and riches.

.

But God has veto-power over anything and everything that Satan desires to do.

.

So then, just what can Man take credit for in this world?

Absolutely nothing?

.

Nothing except our sins! And even then, Satan deserves much credit in that department too!

.

WHO ARE THE TRUE POWER-BROKERS?

.

So, considering all these Bible verses which reveal that it is the unseen powers, both good and evil, who are the true rulers over Man?

.

Just what can Mankind take credit for?

.

Whether it be the much-envied financial wizard,

.

or the great scientist,

.

or the master musician,

.

or the sensual siren-superstar

.

or the powerful political leader,

.

or the genius inventor or designer,

.

or the great actor,

.

or the celebrated author,

.

or the imaginative story-teller,

.

or the world-class athlete,

.

…it is actually the unseen spiritual powers, both good and evil, who are working behind the scenes to make all these things happen!

.

These unseen entities are the world’s true power brokers!

.

Of course, it is Satan’s desire to cause Mankind to get all the credit.

.

This is an integral part of his warfare against Heaven.

.

The more accomplishments that Mankind takes credit for, the more self-confident we will be!

.

Thus, in our pride, our rebellious hearts will grow even more defiant against Heaven’s government! 

.

“AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST”

Matthew 11:28

.

But the very Good News is, the door is still open to come back to God.

.

Listen… “Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,

and I will give you rest.

Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me;

for I am meek and lowly in heart: 

and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

.

As this above passage proclaims, Mankind is invited to come back to the Lord.

.

God still holds out His “Rest unto your souls”, to any and every one who is tired of trying to be a “I Can Do It!” person.

FOURTH SOLAR SYSTEM MEMBER

.

Counting the Sun as the 1st heavenly sphere, the Earth is the 4th heavenly sphere.

.

If we extend our theory (and it’s just a theory) that God created our solar system to correspond to the commandments, then planet Earth would correspond to the 4th Commandment.

.

.

And so, on the very planet that corresponds to the commandment that exalts the idea of “rest” and “peace”, there exists very little peace.

.

And very little rest.

.

Ironic, isn’t it?
