“The sinners in Zion are afraid;

fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.

Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?

who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? 

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly;

he that despiseth the gain of oppressions,

shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,

that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood,

and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

He shall dwell on high:

his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:

bread shall be given him;

his waters shall be sure.

Thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty:

they shall behold the land that is very far off.”

HEARTS KNITTED TOGETHER WITH THE WORLD

.

The vast majority of those who profess to serve God are not actively and whole-heartedly engaging in the purification of their heart.

.

Our hearts, to a great degree, are still knitted together with the world.

.

.

.

.

.

THE DAY OF FIRE

.

But the day is coming when God’s people will receive the proverbial, “rude awakening”, according to the following passage from Isaiah 33:14-17

.

Listen to that Scripture… “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings. He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. Thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off. ” Isaiah 33:14-17.

This above passage from Isaiah 33:14-17 describes a startling moment in which God’s people will be surprised by a fearful event.

GOD RISES TO SHAKE TERRIBLY THE EARTH

.

Now just what event is it that will arrest the attention of the sinners in Zion, striking fear in their hearts?

.

Listen…“In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth.” Isaiah 2:20, 21

.

So here is revealed that it is God’s rising up to shake terribly the earth that will strike fear in the hearts of God’s people!

CASTING AWAY OUR IDOLS

.

And this shaking will cause God’s people to cast away the idols which have preoccupied our thoughts up to this point in time.

.

And the apostate years of our idolatry have manifested themselves by our day-by-day, enthusiastic pursuit of the pleasures and cares of this selfish world, instead of being fully engaged in the purification and sanctification of our hearts! And the world watches as we go headlong after the treasures and pleasures of this vain life!

.

Yes, God has called a people out of this rebellious world to become ambassadors for Heaven: messengers of mercy to a hopeless world imprisoned by sin and spiritual darkness.

.

But instead of fully responding to God’s great commission, we have been lured back into the world by a very zealous and formidable Enemy: The Devil!

.

.

.

.

.

A LACK OF PIETY & HOLINESS

.

And our failure to perform the duties for which God has chosen us, has allowed Satan to destroy our effectiveness, due to a lack of our piety and holiness.

.

Well, just look at what our signature passage has to say about what God expects from us… “He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly; he that despiseth the gain of oppressions, that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes, that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood, and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;” Isaiah 33:15

.

Here is described a lifestyle which is vastly different from the current decadent lifestyle of most of our society.

BEHOLDING WICKEDNESS DAILY 

.

For instance, to shut our eyes, and stop our ears from all the wickedness and violence in today’s world, is what society, and most Christians behold on a daily basis, via television, radio, newspapers, magazines, books, and Internet.

.

Yes, the world, as well as the worldly church, have little trouble beholding sin, via these devices. As John Bunyan once put it, they can “drink down sin like water”, and not be bothered by it!

.

And because of the ever-increasing immorality of these inventions, both society as well as Christians are being taken down, down, down into the bottomless pit of sin and selfishness!

.

.

WE’VE LAID DOWN OUR ARMOR

.

Yes, because of our carelessness in choosing our associations, Christians have been derailed from seeking the face of the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength and mind.

.

And in place of a devoted life to God’s service, we instead have allowed ourselves to become defiled with all the worldly ungodliness and unrighteous pursuits which we have immersed ourselves in, since the day that we laid down our armor and returned back into the world.

.

EAR & EYE GATES UNGUARDED

.

It’s amazing to see what we “Christians” are so willing, even eager to allow into our ear-gates, and eye-gates each and every day in our Babylonish captivity here on earth!

.

We should have instead been filling our hearts with God’s precious promises, on a day-by-day basis!

.

GOOD NEWS! GOD CALLING US OUT!

.

Well, the very Good News (but also very sad) is that God is now calling us to “Come out of her My people, lest you partake of her sins, and receive of her plagues.”

.

And we must respond, by taking up the work which God originally assigned to us.

.

Yes, even as Jonah finally returned to his calling from God to warn the citizens of Nineveh, so too must God’s people likewise return to our great commission!

.

And instead of partaking of the world-loving ways of the apostate churches, we must separate ourselves from these decadent prosperity-driven gospels, to proclaim to the world, the loud cry, “flee from the wrath to come!”…For “the great and terrible day of the Lord [has] come!” (Matthew 3:7 & Luke 3:7 & Joel 2:31)

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

.

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

.

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars. It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed. And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed. Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane). The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey. The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg. All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months. But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.
