Back in the 1950’s, a brand-new phenomenon became extremely popular! These were known as “theme-parks”!
.
For instance, they would take the various storybook fantasies of this world and make them into a giant theme-park in which children of all ages could live out those fantasies in a life-sized, visual, walk-through extravaganza!

A THEME-PARK WORLD?
.
But did you know that this is exactly what “the god of this world” has done to this, his very own kingdom, the World?
.
You see, when Lucifer came to our first parents in the Garden, he convinced them that he had a better plan than that which God had!
.
And this Father of Lies, Satan, has been trying his best to convince us of his “better plan”, ever since!

DESIRE FOR SOMETHING MORE

Just imagine! There was a beautiful Garden, having all the things which made for a happy, carefree existence! And yet this artful Deceiver convinced them that they needed something more, in order to be fulfilled.

Well, the rest is history! And many truth-seeking believers can now see what Brand X looks like!
.
Yes, this world is Lucifer’s alternative plan! A sort of, “Brand-X” world!

DIFFICULT TO SEE THE DECEPTION

And yet, most people cannot or will not see this world for what it truly is!

No, Lucifer (who now has assumed the role and given the title of “Satan”), works around the clock to create a world filled with many self-centered pleasures and delights.
.
It’s kind of like a “Theme-park World”!
.

AN “EMPIRE-LAND”?
.
Just think about all the pleasures and pursuits that this modern-day world has to offer! Just look at all the opportunities we have to carve out some little empire of our very own making!

Yes, in this present-day cornucopian super-society, any ambitious individual can start their own business, and eventually build their own little kingdom! And don’t think that such an endeavor is not fun! Because it’s a whole lot of fun! And challenging too! And it’s a type of frontier in which we can build a little empire of our very own making!
.
You might say, it’s a veritable, “Empire-Land”!

“HOBBY-LAND”
.
And just think about all the hobbies which can occupy one’s time and attention. Endless sports, various crafts, musical instruments, talents, projects, etc., etc…. Perhaps one might call it “Hobby-Land”!

AN “AMUSEMENT-WORLD”?
.
Or how about all the present-day amusement devices? These new inventions can absorb our attention for hours each day!

You might call it, “Amusement-World”!

A “STORYBOOK-WORLD”?
.
Or how about all the television shows? There are seemingly endless varieties of television shows and movies to be entertained by! And with the aid of a remote-control device, I need only sit back and let “the god of this world” entertain me and my children with story after story!

Yes, one might call it, “Storybook-World”!
.

A “WANDERLAND”?
.
Or how about all the intriguing places to visit in this world? There is an inexhaustible list of exotic cities and mysterious places to visit and aimlessly wander through!
.
You might want to call it, “WanderLand”!

“HEARTS…OVERCHARGED WITH…CARES OF LIFE”

Well, you get the idea. This current-day world has been especially re-designed to keep its inhabitants busy, busy, busy in an almost endless variety of people to see, places to go, and things to do!
.
There are clubs to join, restaurants to frequent, coffee-shops to relax in, sports and amusements to engage in, resorts to visit, recreational vehicles to purchase, houses and gardens and lands to obtain, endless music to listen to, plays and operas to dress up for, sensual pleasures to indulge in, books to read, curious sciences to dabble in, and on and on and on it goes!
.
It’s truly a Theme-park World we live in, today!
.

SATAN LURES US BACK
.
And so, as new Christians, we begin our journey out of this selfish world, and onward and upward on the pathway up to the Paradise of God!
.
But Satan attempts to lure us back into the world by one or more of his pleasures and pursuits!
.
And so, the danger is, that we simply become so busy pursuing the things of the world, that we have little time nor inclination to take our Salvation seriously!
.
Nevertheless, on Judgment Day, many might be shocked and saddened to discover that our religion was all in vain!
.
.

.
.
DOOR STILL OPEN…BUT JUST BARELY OPEN!
.
Well, the Good News is this: the door of mercy is not yet shut! Oh yes, it’s closing! But it’s still open just barely enough to slip through!
.
And for those who are willing to cast away the idols of this world, the following passage can apply…
“In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold,
which they made each one for himself to worship,
to the moles and to the bats;
To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks,
for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty,
when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth!”

Yes, Judgment Day is here! But God has allowed just barely enough time for those who want to escape His awful wrath, to turn from our vain idols of this Themepark World of selfish pleasures and ambitious pursuits!

And then, forsaking all this world’s fleeting pleasures and perishing pursuits, getting busy with the work so greatly neglected: the purification of our heart and the transformation of our life into His wonderful likeness!
.
Let’s get back on the right track!
.
And by God’s grace, we will do so!

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn. Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad shock and awe; this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn. As if he is disgusted at the sinful planet below.
