In this Babylon world, the “god of this (Babylonian) world” has created many forms of entertainment, enough to keep his loyal citizens busy for a lifetime! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

And for the Christian family, the temptation is to partake of some of these worldly forms of entertainment: television, radio, video games, android phones, social websites, etc….

“O TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD”

But God has also provided many forms of entertainment: the many possibilities found in nature, and in family.

And God has given us a Book, the Bible in which young and old alike can enjoy and discover more and more hidden truths and pearls of wisdom, enough to keep one busy also for a lifetime.

But in the 1800’s, God raised up Ellen White, who, during her 70-year ministry, wrote a number of books about the Bible, of which Desire of Ages happens to be one of the favorites among readers.

A BOOK FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY
.
And now, this fine book is available in audio. And the family which is striving to be faithful in a world that bends in the opposite direction, this book might just be a wonderful way to gather that family together to read, or to just listen to.

To write this book, Ellen White drew primarily from the four Gospels to tell in story form, the life and ministry of Jesus. But she also snatched bits and pieces from many other parts of the Bible as well, spiritually applying them to expand this story.
.
And, along with information from outside sources, this book gives the listener a much broader understanding of the life and ministry of Jesus.
