How To Breeze Through The Coming Crisis!

“Great And Precious Promises!”

“Whereby are given unto us

exceeding great and precious promises:

that by these ye might be partakers

of the divine nature,

having escaped the corruption

that is in the world through lust.”

1st Peter 1:4

Now in the previous 5 devotionals concerned with breezing through the coming time of trouble, it was put forth that those who desire to breeze through the coming tempest must keep their minds fixed upon God’s Word.

.

And this little devotional will be a further addendum to that very same admonition…“But his delight is in the law of the LORD (God’s Word); and in his law doth he meditate day and night.” Psalm 1:2

.

“For By Wise Counsel Thou Shalt Make Thy War”

Proverbs 24:6

Yes, to keep our minds upon God’s Word through our day will give us the perfect peace we need to possess during the time of trouble just ahead!

.

Listen…“Through wisdom is an house builded;

and by understanding it is established:

And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled

with all precious and pleasant riches.

A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.

For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war:

and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.”

Proverbs 24:3-6

.

**WOW! What a promise! And the many verses of the Bible shall be that “multitude of counsellors” which bring us that safety!**

“Thy Testimonies Also Are My Delight And My Counsellors.”

Psalms 119:24

But the purpose of today’s devotional is to emphasize that a great part of our moment-by-moment contemplation of God’s life-giving Word is to allow God’s “exceeding great and precious promises” to guide us daily through every troublesome and questionable situation which arises.

.

Like steppingstones made of costly pearls, winding through the fire-laden fields of tribulation, God’s great and precious promises will guide us safely through each snare which the Enemy throws across our pathway!

.

Thy Word Have I Hid In My Heart”

Psalm 119:11

.

Yes, the Bible is literally teeming with such precious promises!

.

And let us not delay hiding these in our hearts and begin to put them to action right now. We can’t wait until that horrible day arrives!

.

But by putting them into practice right now, we will continue to live by them when ‘all Hell breaks loose’, as the old saying goes!

OUR DAILY BATTLE

.

**Perhaps at the end of each day (and all during the day), maybe while lying down in bed, we need to spend much time thinking back on how we might have overcome this or that big or little attack by the Devil.**

.

**Yes, just what “exceeding great and precious promises” could have been employed, which would have given us the victory over the temptations which assailed us in our daily warfare?**

.

Listen…Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2nd Peter 1:4)

.

Constant learning and hiding of the many Bible promises into our hearts is a critically important part of our daily walk in the Lord!

.

This is how we “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord!” 2nd Peter 3:18

.
