GOODLY HORSE CONSTELLATION

.
.
“Arise and thresh, O daughter of Zion: for I will make thine horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass: and thou shalt beat in pieces many people: and I will consecrate their gain unto the LORD, and their substance unto the Lord of the whole earth.”
Micah 4:13

Throughout history, horses have been, for the most part, Man’s chosen vehicle in battle. Oh yes, the horse has been a great friend, and a wonderful means of transportation, and other needs of mankind. But these dynamic, four-footed warriors seem to have been especially designed for the battlefield. Fast and powerful, and unafraid to fully engage in fierce and deadly circumstances, these “nature’s war-machines” speak eloquently in behalf of an all-knowing and majestic Creator-God.
.
You see, as it turns out, horses just happen to be God’s favorite vehicle in battle also.
.
And to our amazement, God has placed a horse in the night-sky. And along with the Constellation Orion, there is a battle-scene which silently passes through the night-heavens, unbeknownst to the sleeping world below: mighty Orion and his faithful horse fully engaging in hand-to-hand battle against his ancient foe, The Revelation 12 Dragon.
.
So what are these constellations all about? Well, this article will introduce you to this horse, and just what in Heaven’s name is he doing up there each winter.
.
The Heavens Declare.net is revealing this constellation, and just what are the biblical implications and concepts associated with it.

BIBLE VERSES PICTURED IN THE HEAVENS
.
“With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.” Ezekiel 26:12Â
.
THIS STAR-CHART: Notice how the right front hoof is trampling on the tail of the Dragon. Also notice his eye is a star.
.
It’s best seen when in the western half of the sky. It is found in mid-sky traveling from east to west. In January, it is in the west after midnight. As winter progresses, it can be seen earlier and earlier in the evening. a dark sky with good star-visibility is best, but not absolutely necessary to see this constellation.
.
It is found on the opposite side of the Dragon Constellation from Orion. And as already stated, this Glorious Horse Constellation can be seen best in mid-winter when it is in the western side of the sky, and you are looking at it while you are facing west.
.
The nose and head of this horse is partly made from the Perseus Constellation.
.
The tail and rear end is partly of the Cassiopeia Constellation. The hind-leg is made partly of stars from the Andromeda Constellation.

WHO IS THIS HORSE?…
.
Well, just who or what does this horse represent? It represents God’s people: “for the LORD of hosts has visited His flock the house of Judah, and hath made them as His GOODLY (‘glorious’ or ‘magnificent’) HORSE in the battle…And they shall be as mighty men which TREAD DOWN their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them.” Zechariah 10:3.5. Â
.
Notice that it says, “they shall be as mighty men which TREAD DOWN their enemies as in the mire of the streets”.
.     Â
The Bible, to a great extent has been written by God, in allegories. This above passage from Zechariah uses three different metaphors in describing His people. He calls us His “flock”. He calls us His, “goodly horse in battle”. And last, he compares us to mighty men who will, “tread down the wicked as mire in the streets”.
.
Actually, there is another metaphor in this passage. God speaks of Believer’s as the “House of Judah”. Of course, since Christ was of the House of Judah, then we Believers are of that house. So spiritually speaking, this passage is speaking of us, as the House of Judah.

BIBLE IS AN ALLEGORICAL BOOK!
.
God often uses various people and nations to represent God’s own people. For example, God speaks of “Sodom and Egypt” as representing his people here in the Book of Revelation…Â “And their dead bodies (the two witnesses of Revelation) shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called “Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.” Revelation 11:18.
.
God is making a statement about the spiritual condition of Jerusalem at the time of the Cross. But He’s also making a big statement concerning His people at the time of this Revelation 11:18 prophecy in the last times.
.      Â
Here is another example of God using something different to be a figure of His own people…
“For this Agar is Mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.” Galatians 4: 25.Â
.
In this passage, God is comparing Hagar (Sara’s Egyptian mistress) to the disobedient portion of the Church. This passage speaks about the Church-apostate throughout the New Testament Church-era.
.
Well, here’s a passage which most theologians agree is referring to the Church… “I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots.” Songs 1:9. (Here it that Christ is comparing His bride (the Church) to horses).

HORSE GLOWS!
If you happen to locate this horse, you may notice that it somewhat appears to glow, especially the upper portion. And this is because the Milky Way runs through it. This picture doesn’t bring out this glow. But if you have a very dark night, this glowing effect is very beautiful!
.
And since stars represent God’s Elect people, this gives an added spiritual dimension to this very beautiful constellation!

THE BIBLE IS A SPIRITUAL BOOK
.Â
How can we know if a verse is speaking about something literal or figurative? “I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10.  Â
.
Here is another verse that conveys the same idea, that Jesus is hidden all through the Old Testament. It is from the story of Jesus, as He explained to two discouraged Believers that the Old Testament was filled with hidden messages about Jesus, and about His death and resurrection …Â “And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He (Jesus) expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself.” Â Luke 24:27. Â
.
Whenever God speaks, His concern is about the Gospel. So when God is speaking of trees, or rocks, or roses, etc., He is using them as a picture of a spiritual idea, of some sort. But always concerning the Gospel.Â

BEING TRAMPLED, SPOKEN OF IN SCRIPTURE
.
Here is a passage from Malachi, which points forward to us who are living in these last days… “And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.” Malachi 4:3. So if we, the people of God, are the ones who, “will tread down the wicked”…then we must be the ones who are represented by the Horse Constellation, which is treading on that Dragon.Â
.
But it is ultimately God who tramples down the wicked. Just listen… “Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies.” Psalm 60:11, 12
.   Â
But here again, this verse in Malachi is found in the Old Testament. How can this be referring to the New Testament Church?        Â
 .
This next verse is directed to the New Testament Church specifically…Â “And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly.” Romans 16:20. Â Now whose feet are going to bruise Satan? The Church of God. And by the way, the word “Church” merely is the word which translates “congregation”, or “gathering”. The Old Testament people of God are also referred to as the “Church”.

THE OLD TESTAMENT CHURCHÂ Â
.Â
Not only are the New Testament people of God referred to as the Church, but also the Old Testament people of God are also referred to as the Church. Here is a passage in which Paul is speaking of the children of Israel as the “church in the wilderness”… “This is he (Moses), that was in the CHURCH in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us…”  Acts 7:38
.
This is another verse from the Old Testament speaking of the church… “Saying, I will declare Thy name unto my brethren, in the midst of the CHURCH will I sing praise unto Thee.” Hebrews 2:12.Â
.
This verse from Hebrews is repeating this Old Testament verse found in Psalm 22:22 which says… “I will declare Thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise Thee.” Psalm 22:22. Â
.
This verse in Hebrews is quoting from the Psalms. The Hebrew word is translated “congregation” in the Old Testament. But the word “congregation” in the Old Testament means exactly what the word “Church” means in the New Testament. The word “church” in the New Testament is translated as “congregation” in the Old Testament. And this word “congregation” is used many times in the Old Testament. The word “gathering” or “congregation” is a perfectly proper translation in the New Testament, wherever the word “church” is used, and may even be a more suitable word, than the word “church”.

JEHU’SÂ HORSE TRAMPLES JEZEBEL
.Â
There is an account in 2 Kings about the day when Jehu destroyed idolatry out of Israel. After killing the prophets of Baal, he went after Jezebel. She was in her palace, until she was thrown down and trampled by Jehu’s horse…  ” And he said, ‘Throw her (Jezebel) down’. So they threw her down: and some of her blood was sprinkled on the wall, and on the horses: and he (Jehu) trode her under foot.” 2 Kings 9:33. (Picture Jehu on his horse, trampling this symbol of the apostate church (Jezebel) under his horse’s feet.) So here the trampling of Jezebel (who is Satan’s agent to bring apostasy into God’s kingdom) is a picture of the destruction of Satan’s kingdom.Â
.
All through the Bible, the theme of the “Adulterous Woman” shows up many times in many different places. In the various Prophets such as Ezekiel, Hosea, Jeremiah , etc., God compares His people (the disobedient portion) to a lewd woman… “How is the faithful city become an harlot!” Isaiah 1:21
.
Jezebel is not just an Old Testament figure. She is made reference to in Revelation… “you tolerate that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants… Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation…and all the churches shall know that I am He which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.” Revelation 2:20-23. Notice that this passage mentions Jezebel in reference to the New Testament churches. She symbolizes the apostate portion of God’s people and the false doctrines they bring into the Church. For more information the “Adulterous Woman”, click here… “The Great Whore of Revelation”

FALLING BACKWARD
.
Here is a verse which seems to be a future prophecy… “Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.” Gen 49:17.  This verse is a picture of Dan compared to a serpent who bites the horse’s heels and causes his rider to fall backwards. This verse explains why Orion is not on his Horse. It also explains why at the beginning of winter, both Orion and his Horse appear to be falling backward. This verse above was never before fully understood.Â
.
But this verse is a prophecy concerning the tribe of Dan way back in Genesis. So how does this relate to the New Testament Church?     Â
 .
You see, the Bible must be studied as one doctrine. In other words, there is no verse that stands alone. This verse may be from Genesis, but it is clearly prophetic. It has such a striking resemblance to this constellation group as seen in the early winter. You have Orion and his Horse fighting against this Dragon. And as you look at these constellations when they are in the eastern sky, both Orion and his Horse appear to be falling backwards.

HIDDENÂ PROPHECIES IN SCRIPTUREÂ Â Â Â Â
.
Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that bites the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.” Genesis 49:17.Â
.
So this above verse is a hidden prophecy, revealing the spiritual truth behind this constellation group in the night-sky. Now the question which must be answered is this: are there any other such dramatic hidden prophecies in Scripture, which give validity, for using this hidden passage from Genesis 49:17?
 .
Yes many, but here is one from the Old Testament that is confirmed in the New Testament as being about the coming Messiah… “When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.” Hosea 11:1. Here is the verse repeated in the New Testament regarding Jesus’ parents fleeing to Egypt to escape the wrath of Herod… “When he (Joseph) arose, he took the young child (Jesus) and His mother (Mary) by night, and departed into Egypt: And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my Son.”  Matthew 2:14, 15. Now this Old Testament verse was never understood, until God made it plain in Matthew. After all, who could possibly read this prophecy (“Out of Egypt have I called my son”,) in the Old Testament and discern that it was about Jesus.Â
.Â
Now is there another such verse in the Bible that is a hidden prophecy? Probably more than you or I can imagine! But here is one that seems to be speaking of these very constellations… “They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.” Judges 5:20. Now this verse also has spiritual significance. But this verse has likewise never been understood until now. But now that God is revealing the “signs in the Sun…Moon, and in the stars” (Luke 21:25), it is becoming clear that this passage from Judges 5:20 is speaking about the Church who will, “…shine as the stars, for ever and ever.” Daniel 12. But it likewise seems to apply very nicely to this constellation group, and about theheavensdeclare.net website.

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome in a number of ways (which this article will explain).
.
It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation, plus several stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation, plus some random stars. It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed. And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed. Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horses mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane). The rider is in a position similar to a race-horse jockey. The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg. All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
.
Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months. But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation (on a very dark and starry night).

LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THE PROMISED LAND!
.
.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish” Proverbs 29:18
.
In the beginning, God placed our first parents in a beautiful garden. But as a result of sin, this world lost much of its beauty. The curse has marred, to a great extent, the pristine condition of nature.
.
There are perhaps many, who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp. Nothing could be further from the truth! “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:” Revelation 21:1
.
Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredible garden for our first parents, would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships, only to stick us in some boring situation, for eternity? Such people don’t know God nearly well enough.
.
The beauty and innocent joys of this present world, are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that Celestial City of God.
.
.
LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED LAND
.
So Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the New Heaven and New Earth, and begin to get excited about it. When we hear the cry of a new-born baby, or the innocent laughter of little children. When we see a little forest creature having fun, or we enjoy a walk along the sand at the ocean, and hear the majestic roar of the crashing waves. These, and the many other joys of life were created by the One who has also gone to prepare an even more beautiful place for us to live. He knows our needs, and will provide a home, far more wonderful than this sin-cursed Earth.
.
And when we finally cross that river, and we stand together on the shores of that world-to-come, we will look in amazement at what He has in store for us there. And then we will know for certain, that “His mercy endures forever”, because “God is love”!

A HEAVENLY HOBBY
.
.
.
.
.
.
“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold Who hath created these things; that brings out their host by number: He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.” Isaiah 40:26
.
.
.
.
.
.
The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.
.
In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.

“AND WHEN YE SEE THESE THINGS…
.
LOOK UP, LIFT UP YOUR HEAD”
.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus will the Christian be able to share this message with others. And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS
The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).
.
These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).
.
And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
.
These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.
.
Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

ANOTHER HEAVENLY HOBBY: PRAYER-WALKS
.
Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…
.
Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!
.
It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!
.
(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.
.
And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.
.
Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)

THRICE-DAILY PRAYERS
.
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.
.
But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
