APOCALYPSE ALWAYS… If you ever have read the Book of Joel, then you are familiar with just what a fiery little letter that it is. It’s all about war! It’s all about The Day of The Lord! It’s all about battle trumpets sounding!

And Joel is a warning to God’s people to turn back to the Lord in sorrow and mourning and repentance! And such admonishments as this, though addressed to the Old Testament people of God, are just what today’s Christian needs, because of our spiritual apathy and lukewarm-ness.

This book is like a cold shower on “the morning after”, for such a spiritual drunkard as I! It is a sobering experience for the Christian, when he or she has been quickened by the Spirit of God! 

.

The Book of Joel is for our day! Listen… “Gird yourselves, and lament, ye priests: howl, ye ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, ye ministers of my God: for the meat offering and the drink offering is withholden from the house of your God. Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD. Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come!” Joel 1:13-15

“YE THAT PUT FAR AWAY THE EVIL DAY”

.

And so often, we Christians put “put far away the evil day“, not realizing that, in a very real sense, Judgment Day has been occurring, throughout time, in the hearts of “every man that cometh into the world.” John 1:9.

.

Yes, God has been trying every man’s heart, just as Job says… “What is man, that Thou shouldest…visit him every morning, and try him every moment?” Job 7:17, 18.

.

This passage reveals that each human is being judged by an infinite God who sees every thing, as written… “for He (God) knows the secrets of the heart.” Psalm 44:21 

.

And along with these verses is another revealing passage from Amos.

.

Listen… “Ye that put far away the evil day…and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph (God’s people). Therefore now shall they go captive with the first that go captive, and the banquet of them that stretched themselves shall be removed.” Amos 6:3, 6, 7. (parenthetical comment by this website)

BIBLE METAPHORS

.

“Ye that put far away the evil day…and anoint themselves with the chief ointments: but they are not grieved for the affliction of Joseph…”

.

Now this above passage was written at about the time of the Babylonian captivity. And yet it speaks of being afflicted for Joseph. How could this be, since Joseph died over 1,000 years earlier than this prophecy? Simple! Just like so much of Scripture, God here, is speaking metaphorically. And so this passage applies to anyone who puts far away the evil day, becoming un-watchful and complacent.

.

And being afflicted for Joseph is probably speaking of being afflicted for all those who are caught up in some sort of persecution, suffering, bondage or captivity, physically, financially or spiritually.

.

In other words, there are many of us Christians who are not mourning and pleading with God for our brothers and sisters around the world, who are suffering afflictions of various types.

.

We here, in this land-of-plenty, so often eat and drink and laugh and enjoy ourselves, as if we haven’t a care in the world! And all around us, is a world where so many are suffering and hurting and hungry and poor and hopeless. And we seem oblivious and unconcerned! And this not-so-funny cartoon shows us perhaps, as God sees us, taking it easy, “as in a day of slaughter” (James 5:5)

APOCALYPSE SOON…

.

So Joel tells us that the day is coming, in which, “The Sun shall be turned into darkness, and the Moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel 2:31.

.

Now, just because each person who ever lived has gone through a type of judgment does not negate the fact that a great finale is about to happen. This pandemic show-down of Judgment Day is also called the Valley of Decision, and The Day of the Lord, and The time of Jacob’s Trouble. 

.

So yes, this grand climax to the great drama of the ages is about to conclude. And every person who ever lived may ultimately be involved in the final scenes. Some visible, and perhaps, some behind the scenes: some standing with good angels, and everyone else on the side of Satan’s angels. Then shall the wicked surround the camp of the saints. This will be the Time of Jacob’s Trouble, in which the sorely tempted and tried saints must wrestle with God until they finally will have their garments purified and made white (see Revelation 7:13, 14).

BLOOD MOON MAY BE A SPIRITUAL EVENT…

.

So the very first question to be answered, concerning the Moon is: “Just exactly how will the Moon be turned into blood? Will the Moon be turned into literal blood?”

.

Probably very few people actually believe that the Moon will be turned to literal blood. So then, it is manifest that most everyone believes this Bible verse needs to be understood metaphorically, to some extent: the Moon will not need to be turned into actual blood, in order for this prophecy to be fulfilled. So if you are waiting for a literal fulfillment, you may be one of those few who will be in for a bitter disappointment. And everyone else must settle for an allegorical fulfillment of one type or another.

ALLEGORICAL BLOOD-MOON?

God lets us know that He often speaks parabolically, so that false brethren and abject unbelievers cannot see these things.

.

Listen… “And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why speakest Thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven…

.

Therefore speak I to them (false brethren & unbelievers) in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Matthew 13:10-13

THEREFORE I SPEAK TO THEM IN PARABLES!

“Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.” Matthew 13:13

The door to Heaven is open to everyone. But it is only by child-like faith that one can enter in. Education, ecclesiastical authority, or any other worldly badge-of-honor are less than worthless, when it comes to the Kingdom of Heaven. And so, by speaking in parables, God keeps out all those who try to enter by their own strength or goodness or achievement.

But how does this relate to the Moon turning to blood? Simple! It, like all other parabolic language in Scripture, cannot be understood by everyone. But only those who live by simple child-like faith will understand.

.

But having said this, nevertheless, Scripture should reveal what the true fulfillment of this will be. There should be some clues in the Bible which may give us insight into this question.

.

So then, just what does the Bible reveal about this puzzling question of how shall the Moon be turned into blood?

BLOOD AS A COLOR

.

So then, because it would be just too difficult to imagine that God would actually turn the Moon into literal blood, most everyone has supposed that God would do the next best thing: that God will turn the Moon into the color, red. And since the Moon already turns somewhat red during an eclipse, or under post-harvest field burnings, then this would be the most acceptable conclusion: that the Moon is going to turn the color red, just prior to The Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.

But the problem with this theory is, that one must have scriptural support in order to arrive at such an allegorical conclusion. So does Scripture promote such an idea?

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT BLOOD?

.

The word, “blood” is found over 400 times in the Bible. And so, the very first thing a Bible-student would want to peruse the various uses of that word. Of course, these days, this tedious work has become much easier with the use of computer programs, such as E-Sword. And so, a word search reveals that the same Hebrew word is used in every case, for the word, “blood”. Beyond these two facts, is probably just speculation by well-meaning individuals and concordance editors, concerning this word and its origins.

But the Bible does have much to say about blood. And so, all a person can do is to work with what we know for sure. And armed with Biblical evidence, try to discover just what does the Bible say for sure, regarding this prophecy… “and the Moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.” Joel 2:30, 31

BLOOD OF THE COVENANT

.

“And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.” Exodus 24:8

In most instances, the word “blood” is used in connection with the temple service, and those animal sacrifices. The Mosaic Books, such as Exodus, present the lion’s share of verses using the word, “blood”. The blood of animals was shed to make atonement for the sins of ancient Israel. 

.

But there is little dispute, that these animal sacrifices were actually pointing fowrard to Christ, as the great atonement which forever ended the earthly sanctuary service and all of its animal sacrifices. The first coming of the long-awaited Messiah fulfilled the temple service, for all time and eternity.

.

The Cross of Christ was the ultimate sacrifice, which showed the world and the universe the love of God for an erring, sinful, and rebellious world.

BLOOD WAS POINTING TO CHRIST

.

“The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:” Genesis 49:10, 11

.

So here is an Old Testament prophecy concerning the Messiah to come. This was made by Jacob, to his son, Judah, prior to Jacob’s death. Of course, Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, and this prophecy, in reality, concerned Jesus, and not Judah. It speaks in very colorful metaphorical language, comparing grapes to Christ’s life-giving blood, which He shed in behalf of fallen & lost Mankind. Now here it seems, is a reference to the color, red, even though it doesn’t say the word, red. But the “blood of grapes” would almost have to be referring to the reddish color of grapes: probably Concord grapes, since their juice is very deeply colored.

And so this aspect of blood likewise helps us to understand more about the Moon turning to blood. This is because, the Gospel has been inscribed by God upon the Moon’s surface. And the Gospel has everything to do with Christ’s blood being shed.

PROPHECY ABOUT WINEPRESS of BLOOD

.

“And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came… saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe. And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.” Revelation 14:17-20

.

This sketch of Orion, in his role as The Reaper, begins to present  a heavenly picture of this above passage from Revelation. And Revelation, Ch. 14 tells of two harvests: one of God’s people, and the other of the people of the world. And the second harvest speaks of grapes, and of a winepress which instead of pressing out grape-juice, brings forth blood. But what can all this mean? This second harvest is the harvest of the wicked. And so it has to do with God’s wrath.

EGYPT’S PLAGUE OF WATERS TURNED TO BLOOD

.

“And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.”  Exodus 7:19

One of the plagues which God poured out on Egypt, was to turn the waters into blood, literal blood. This goes hand-in-hand with a passage from Revelation… “And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea. And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood. And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.” Revelation 16:3-6.

So what does this above passage have to do with the Moon? Well, if you have read the “Moon Into Blood Trilogy“ on this website, it has everything to do with God’s wrath and judgment upon His people.

CHURCH COMPARED TO A WOMAN & ALSO TO THE MOON

.

“My dove, my undefiled is but one…Who is she that looks forth as the morning, fair as the Moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?” Song of Solomon 6:9, 10

.

This little poetic book, Song of Songs, is a powerful description, in allegorical language, of the wonderful love between Christ and His Church. And among the many other poetic descriptions of God’s Church-Faithful, is this above comparison of God’s people to a woman; but also to the Moon.

.

The Moon is a wonderful object-lesson for the people of the world to behold. This otherwise dark orb, begins to light the world, as she reflects the light of the Sun. So too, God’s Church enlightens this sin-darkened world as the Church reflects the light from Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness.

.

Just look at this beautiful painting. Quite often we forget that the Moon is shining the Sun’s light upon the world each night. Like a watchman in the night, this beautiful orb, as a lamp, reflects the light of the Sun which has already gone down. Such a perfect allegory of how the Church-Faithful reflects the light of Jesus, the Sun of Righteousness upon this sin-darkened world!

LUNAR ECLIPSE & SPIRITUAL ECLIPSE

.

Now there is a very great sign in the heavens when a lunar eclipse occurs. You see, a lunar eclipse occurs when the Earth comes between the Moon and the Sun. And so, a great shadow crosses the moon, turning it a very pale reddish color. 

.

Now if we translate this phenomenon into spiritual terms, it can be said the when the Church allows the world to obstruct her view of Christ, “the Sun of righteousness”, a spiritual eclipse occurs. And so, the lunar eclipse represents a worldly-minded Church. And this is the great spiritual lesson to be gleaned from a lunar eclipse, and very well applies to our understanding of a Blood Moon. In other words, the Moon turning to blood in Joel is speaking spiritually of the Church becoming apostate, in the last moments of time…

Listen to Paul’s prophecy concerning the end of the era of the churches…“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

So Paul here speaks of this total eclipse of the Church, that is, the total apostasy of the churches. They can no longer tolerate sound doctrine, but instead preach a prosperity-driven gospel. And that’s the current condition of both the liberal and conservative sides of the church-world.

THE MOON & A WOMAN’S MONTHLY CYCLE

.

 “And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever toucheth her shall be unclean until the even. And every thing that she lieth upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sitteth upon shall be unclean. And whosoever toucheth her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even…But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean. And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.” Leviticus 15:19-21, 28, 29

Of course, there has always been a connection seen, between, between women’s monthly cycle, and the monthly cycle of the Moon. And, as this article will point out, the Moon in Scripture, represents God’s people, the Church. And the Church is often represented by a woman in Scripture, so maybe the Lord intentionally created this obvious similarity of monthly cycles.

GIVING BIRTH TO WIND

.

“Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain, and crieth out in her pangs; so have we been in thy sight, O LORD. We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.” Isaiah 26:17, 18

.

The above passage does not speak of blood. But it does present a concept which resulted in a woman’s blood issue.

.

So what happens when a woman has a miscarriage? Her monthly cycle returns. So this above passage from Isaiah tells of God’s people, His Church, failing to bring forth Jesus. And finally we arrived at the day, when the growing apostasy within the churches told us something was wrong…very, very wrong! The New Testament Church was to bring forth Jesus in His season.

Just listen to Paul express his doubts to the Galatian Church… “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you.” Gal. 4:19, 20.

.

Here Paul makes reference to this concept of the Church giving birth. But the Church of Galatia was on the verge of failing. And so Paul makes reference to not only himself giving birth, but also to the Galatian church forming Christ within. A very incredible and revealing passage, wouldn’t you agree?

WORLDLY COMPROMISES

.

So too, the modern-day churches grew further and further from Christ, as they brought in more and more worldly elements into their “Christian-Culture” So then, the following passage from Jeremiah applied to the churches…

.

“Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of My people….Is not the LORD in Zion? is not her King in her? Why have they provoked Me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities? The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved…Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no Physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of My people recovered?” Jeremiah 8:19-22 (condensed).

JEREMIAH’S PROPHECY OF LAST DAYS

.

This passage from Jeremiah speaks of the New Testament Church, as she became entangled in worldly idolatry. This fearful prophecy tells of the day when God’s Salvation plan comes to an end. And in terror, the Church cries out… “The harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved!” Jeremiah 8:20

.

And this passage goes together with Isaiah’s proclamation… “Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery…We have been with child, we have been in pain, we have as it were brought forth wind; we have not wrought any deliverance in the earth; neither have the inhabitants of the world fallen.” Isaiah 26:17, 18.

.

These are perhaps the most chilling and terrifying of all Bible passages. God’s people, the Church has been prophesied about here; bringing forth wind instead of Christ; not being saved at last! This should make any Christian tremble at this frightful foretelling of destiny!

“ENTER…THY CHAMBERS & HIDE”

.

And as a New Testament proof-text, concerning the apostasy of the churches, the following passage is offered… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” 2nd Tim. 4:3, 4. Does this passage leave any doubt in the Reader’s mind, just what was the fate of the churches?

.

But concerning the true Church, God’s Elect, the following passage is given to God’s people who live in these days when God’s professed people bring forth wind. Now God speaks to His individual Christian.

.

Just listen to Isaiah, as he continues his grim pronouncement upon the barren Church, as He calls His every True Worshipper to go into hiding… “Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.  For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.”

CHURCH BROUGHT FORTH WIND…

.

So in this 26th Chapter of Isaiah, the Church begins by lamenting her miscarriage. But in the end, God answers His people as individuals. So in somewhat veiled, yet very marked language, God is telling, even warning the individual Christian, that Judgment Day is here, and it is time for each child of God to hide his or herself, until “the indignation be overpast.”

.

And so, the Moon, representing God’s Bride, the Church, has miscarried. It once again brings forth blood…not literally, but in a spiritual sense.

.

And as a result, the following passage now applies to the Church… “And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall punish….the kings of the Earth upon the Earth…Then the Moon shall be confounded…when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion.” Isaiah 24:21-23 (condensed for clarity).

.

Just as a woman, who is ashamed after her miscarriage, so God is using the Moon as an illustration of His Church, as the Church had failed to bring forth Christ in His season.

THE HEARING OF BLOOD

.

“The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness has surprised the hypocrites. Who among us shall dwell with the Devouring Fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings? He that walks righteously, and speaks uprightly; he that despises the gain of oppressions, that shakes his hands from holding of bribes, that stops his ears from hearing of blood, and shuts his eyes from seeing evil; He shall dwell on high: his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.” Isaiah 33:14-16

.

This above passage presents a concept which is totally foreign to modern-day thinking. This concept is that blood is spoken of in relation to hearing, as this above passage declares… “Who among us shall dwell with the Devouring Fire (God Almighty)?… He that…that stops his ears from hearing of blood”.

.

So Scripture is now speaking of blood in terms of violence. And the hearing of violence might just be akin to, say, watching movies with gratuitous violence, or revenge, or abuse, etc.. Even the nightly news makes its bread-n-butter by capitalizing on stories about war and murder and rape, and every other form of violence.

BRINGING FORTH WIND

.

So this article discussed the possibility that God is simply saying the Moon shall be turned into blood, has to do with the time when God’s people had to flee from the dead Churches, which God spoke of us, as having brought forth wind, instead of giving birth to Christ.

.

But God’s Elect, His true Worshipers will find, when they flee to the spiritual mountains, will fulfill the great commission to give birth to Christ. And so this glorious destiny will be accomplished, while yet spiritually, the Moon will be turned into the blood that always follows a miscarriage. It’s all symbolic. Only those who use proverbs will see and understand it (see Ezekiel 16:44).

NO DR. EVIL or BLACK HELICOPTERS

.

Oh yes, the eclipse of the Moon, however, could very well be a spiritual picture of when the Sun (Christ, the Sun of Righteousness) was darkened, causing the Moon (The churches) to experience a spiritual eclipse, of sorts. So the Moon turning to blood in color, during a literal eclipse, could very well be speaking of such a spiritual eclipse: a spiritual, and not literal fulfillment. And only those who are spiritual will see these things.

.

“But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1st Corinthians 2:14.

.

So all those who fall into the classification of “Carnal” may just have missed all this, simply because they were looking for meteors crashing, black helicopters, Beast Computers, and some Dr. Evil world-ruler/business-man!

“JERUSALEM ABOVE” & “JERUSALEM NOW”

As this website declares, there are three faces in the Moon: one of a Watchman (to left), one of a predator-beast (wolf, etc. ) (to right), and one of a field-beast of prey (rabbit or mouse, etc.) (below left). And these three faces represent the church: both the church-faithful and the church-apostate. 

.

Secondly, what we do find is, that these three faces in the Moon symbolize the two Jerusalem’s: the “Jerusalem above, the mother of us all”, and the “Jerusalem which is now”: that is, the Church-Elect, and the Church-Unsaved. This was a horrible and bloody message. It had to do with the Mark of the Beast. It had to do with the Seal of God, as it pertained to the First Face, symbolizing God’s Elect. It had to do with the mark on the forehead of the Second Moon-Beast, symbolizing the Mark of Cain, the very first murderer (photo to right).

And so, even though the Moon does not have all this information expressly written out in Hebrew or Greek upon its surface, yet these three faces point to the Bible and what the Bible says about these pictorial images inscribed by God, on the Moon’s surface.

“MOON INTO BLOOD TRILOGY: THE HEARING OF BLOOD

“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25

.

So having said all this, there is an answer to this perplexing question, regarding just how the Moon will be turned into blood, prior to the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord. The message presented in this Moon Into Blood Trilogy is a very fearful concept, to say the least.

You see, God has inscribed a fearful message upon the Moon’s surface: three faces. And these three faces are a picture of God’s people, the Church. And there are so many biblical nuances connected to these three faces. And these various aspects together, present a portrait of just what is in the hearts of God’s people, both good and bad. And every reference to blood in the Bible presents an aspect of truth, which aligns harmoniously with these three faces.

And so, when the Bible declares a prophecy that “the Moon shall be turned into blood, before that Great and Terrible Day of the Lord”, then it really refers to the frightening and bloody message this heavenly orb is now proclaiming.

MARK OF BEAST WRITTEN IN THE MOON!

Yes, the fearful message which the world has been waiting for, God has inscribed in the Moon. Now of course, this seems too incredible to believe. Nevertheless, it is true! And if the Reader will go to the articles titled, “Moon Into Blood Trilogy”, this most fearful message can begin to be explored! In a very real sense, the Moon is a fulfillment of the following prophecy…

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God,” Revelation 14:9, 10

.

Perhaps you could say, that the Moon itself, presents the Message which reveals that bloody “Mark of the Beast” message of Revelation 14!

OK, so it appears that the Moon turning to blood has a number of different fulfillments. And so it is with many Bible prophecies.

But there is some very Good News, to all this doom & gloom information. Yes, the Lord is graciously giving us this message in an hour when there is still just enough time to repent and prepare for the final Judgment! And while most of the world may ignore God’s final warning, yet those who take heed, must begin to put on the full armor of God, so that we will be able to stand in the evil day. And having done everything necessary, to stand!

“Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand… 

.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” Ephesians 6:13-18

“AND WHEN YE SEE THESE THINGS…

But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.

Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS

.

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

.

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).

.

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

.

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

ANOTHER HEAVENLY HOBBY: PRAYER-WALKS

Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!

.

It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!

.

(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.

.

And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.

.

Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)

THRICE-DAILY PRAYERS

.

Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.

.

But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.

.

And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.

.

Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
