In that wonderful book, Pilgrim’s Progress, there was a character, named “Atheist”.

.

And this man (as this picture depicts) was a man with bad eyesight (blinded by the god of this world). 

.

And the artist of this picture was not too gentle in his portrayal of Mr. Atheist. 

.

But in a day and age in which militant atheists are forcing their hopelessly miserable ideology on us, and our children, it takes some restraint to not mock…

.

But it must be remembered that only God can open the eyes of the blind.

.

And so, the atheist, like all the rest of us sinners, is completely at the mercy of God’s grace.

LOOSE ENDS OF ATHEISM

.

For those of us who have been atheists, we understand that there’s a need to explain away the unexplainable.

.

As a young atheist, we had certain “monkey wrenches in the works”, so to speak: various “loose ends” which we desperately tried to tie up.

.

That is, there were things which didn’t quite set right with atheism.

.

BEAUTY & POETRY OF NATURE

.

Now one of those loose ends of atheism is the “the beauty & poetry & symmetry of nature”.

.

Yes, the beauty and poetry of nature is a big problem for the atheist.

.

The beauty and poetry of nature just doesn’t quite harmonize with the “Big Bang”!

.

The chaos of the pre-bang eternity-past, just doesn’t quite harmonize with this law-abiding universe, filled with beauty and symmetry and poetry!

.

And so, as atheists, we tried to convince ourselves that beauty is just subjective: something that we have merely adapted ourselves to.

.

MANY PRISONERS OF HOPELESS FEAR!

.

And let’s face it! Many or perhaps most atheists don’t like to think too deeply about these things.

.

Atheism is a very unsettling ideology, or religion, or philosophy, or whatever one may wish to call it.

.

And thus, the average atheist is a prisoner of his own fears of hopelessness, to a great degree.

.

Listen… “through fear of death (the people of the world) were all their lifetime subject to bondage.” Hebrews 2:15.

.

Yes, this world is held captive through the fear of death, even though few will admit it.

.

And the closer to the grave, the more that this hopeless philosophy begins to crush out the joy of their life…

.

HIDEOUS UNDENIABLE

.

Now, back to this idea that “nature is neutral”.

.

The so-called “neutrality of nature” cannot even explain those things in nature which are obviously hideous looking!

.

It simply cannot be explained according to evolution and atheism and the so-called “big-bang”!

But the fact remains, that nature has many things beautiful, and many things, not-so-beautiful!

.

And that’s part of the poetry of nature!

.

Therefore, nature becomes our schoolmaster, teaching us lessons about good and evil!

.

Behold the Dandelion!

.

This little flower of the field looks so bright and so pretty.

.

But after a short time, when the hot Sun arises, this pretty little flower dies, and turns into lifeless spindles.

.

Yes, this too is our instructor, teaching us of the shortness and meaningless of life without God…

.

Listen…“All flesh is grass,

and all the goodliness thereof

is as the flower of the field:

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth…

The grass withereth, the flower fadeth:

but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

Isaiah 40:6-8

.

So here we see that God compares the grass to mankind, and the little wildflowers to man’s short-lived glory.

“OR SPEAK TO THE EARTH AND IT SHALL TEACH THEE”

Job 12:8

But also, nature teaches us the great lesson, that God loves good, but hates evil.

.

And so, as we look at the various aspects of nature, we can see God’s Law, written in the tiniest atom, to the greatest galaxy…and even beyond!

.

“CORDS OF VANITY“

.

“Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:” Isaiah 5:18

.

Look at the slope of this third mountain (Babylon Mtn. on right), and notice that it goes straight down to the Dragon Constellation.

.

This slope belongs to the constellation commonly called “Pisces“.

.

Doesn’t it almost look like the Dragon is towing this Mountain?

.

It almost looks like the Dragon is transporting this “False Mountain” from the south… from Hell!

.

And he has pulled it northward…next to these other two mountains.

.

This would almost seem like a comical idea…if it weren’t for the destruction and death and woe caused by Satan for many-a-millennium.

.

Just listen to this verse…

…”Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity,

and sin as it were with a cart rope:”

Isaiah 5:18.
