TODAY’S DEVOTIONAL – NOVEMBER 4TH

“…And The Devil By Any Other Name…”

.

There is an old saying which goes, “A rose by any other name is still a rose!” Actually, this saying (somewhat morphed over the centuries) has been attributed to Shakespeare’s “Romeo & Juliet”, back around 1600.

.

And really, for coming from this unsaved, antichrist world, it’s a pretty good saying!

“The Devil By Any Other Name…”

.

**Perhaps one might also say, “The Devil, by any other name is still the Devil!” Not exactly as sweet sounding as Shakespeare’s saying, to say the least!**

.

But truth-be-told, this wily deceiver has gone by many other names, through the centuries! Yes, Lucifer, now called “The Devil” and “Satan”, has gone by many aliases as he has worked through countless humans to create many inventions throughout history!

.

“Ye are of your father, The Devil!”

“We be Abraham’s seed…

Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children,

ye would do the works of Abraham.

and the lusts of your father ye will do.”

Lucifer knows that it only requires for people to love his attributes.

A WORLD OF SELFISH TOKENS (IDOLS)

And so, this invisible spirit-being works in the shadows, so as to make the world believe that he doesn’t exist. He then creates a world, filled with idols…which are tokens of his attributes.

Listen… “And they (the people of the world) worshipped the dragon (Satan)”

Revelation 13:4.

And so, simply by the people of the world loving this antichrist world, with all its selfish wares and proud ways. This is how we love Satan, the Dragon!

“If we say that we have fellowship with Him,

and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth…”

This above verse lays out plainly, just what the Lord expects from His followers.

But this passage also is a dividing line between those who serve God and those who don’t.

.

Simply by conforming ourselves to the customs, vanities and behaviors of this unbelieving world, are we not worshiping the author of this present evil Antichrist-World-System…Lucifer, whom Scripture refers to as “the prince of this world”? John 14:30

.

So, just where’s the Good News, if there is any?

Well, there is definitely much Good News! Yes, nobody has to serve and worship this Master-Deceiver!

**Yes, we can embark on a spiritual sojourn, onward and upward toward the everlasting “New Heaven and the New Earth” in which we will be forever young!**

.

And this coming kingdom will be the totally happy, beautiful, and intriguing “Promised Land”, unmarred by sin and sorrow and all the tragic results which Lucifer’s kingdom of selfishness has unleashed on this present fallen world!

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.
