And The Nations Were Angry!

Part 11:

“Ring Around The Rosies…We All Fall Down!”

Do you remember that old nursery rhyme song, “Ring Around The Rosies”?

.

Listen…“Ring-a-round the rosie,
A pocket full of posies,
Ashes! Ashes!
We all fall down.”

.

Well, many of us sang that little song when we were just very young.

.

After all, it seemed harmless enough.

.

A happy little ditty!

.

Right?

THE BLACK DEATH!

.

Well, legend has it that this little children’s rhyme came out of the Great Plague era of London, otherwise known as The Black Death! And its “innocent” little words are poetically describing the various details of that plague!

.

**For instance, “Ring around the rosie” was purportedly speaking of the color of the skin just prior to the plague breaking out.**

.

And posies were commonly carried about by the people to hopefully ward off that plague, and cover the disease-smell with a perfumed scent.

.

When the words “we all fall down” speaks of the totality of that disease, as it eventually killed off many citizens.

.

And finally, when those words were sung, the last one to fall down was eliminated from the game.

.

Well, you get the picture, don’t you?

.

In other words, the little children of that era sang this “cute” little ditty, as the townspeople were being carted off after dropping down dead in the streets of London!

.

How sick! How macabre! Such horror and sorrow for those citizens of London during that era!

.

And well, so much for that “happy” little children’s song! (Needless to say, there are always skeptics who challenge such disparaging beliefs which tend to denigrate this fallen world.)

“AND THE NATIONS WERE ANGRY!”

Now back to our current times.

.

Just a quick examination of today’s world and one might conclude that God is presently withdrawing His protection away from the world and bringing us into Judgment!

.

And this all reminds us of the prophecy found in Revelation…“And the nations were angry, and Thy wrath is come, the time of the dead, that they should be judged…” Revelation 11:18

.

Truly, the nations are angry! Murderous thugs in the Middle East.

.

Violent rhetoric in this land!

.

Rogue religion moving in and taking over Europe!

.

Schools here and abroad now beginning to groom young children into sexually perverted lifestyles!

.

Increasingly insane and hateful voices shouted by the public on social media platforms!

.

Truly, it appears as if the world is going mad!

.

And this is the time for God’s Judgment to begin to fall upon the world!

.

“the plague thereof was exceeding great.”

Revelation 16:1

Yes, it is now time for Judgment Day to come into its fullness!

.

And so, there is coming an even greater and more horrific plague than the Black Death Plague of London.

.

Yes, the Bible warns us…“and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time!” Daniel 12:1

.

And the coming plagues which the Bible forecasts, may just make that Black Death Plague of London look like the proverbial “walk in the park”! And these plagues will not be only in London, but all over the world!

**“A thousand shall fall at thy side“**

.

Listen to Psalm 91:5-9…“Thou (the Christian) shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.”

Here is a really grim scenario of how the world will end up in these last days.

“Flee from the wrath to come!”

Well, if there is any Good News, it is just that today is still the day of Salvation!

.

And all those who will take refuge in Christ will do what Isaiah says to do…“Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast. For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.” Isaiah 26:20, 21

.

Yes, it’s time for God’s people to “flee from the wrath” to come and to hide themselves under the protective wings of God, “till the indignation be overpast!” (Matthew 3:7 & Luke 3:7 & Isaiah 26:20)

.

THE ARK IN THE HEAVENS

So what importance to us is all this information? Well, if a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour, they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation . It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)

.

At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward. But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left. The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible (for instance, “the seven stars are the angels…” Revelation 1:20). To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia, in which the editor of this site has sketched in this Sagittarius Constellation, to show how God created it to appear.
