Noble Bereans,

Part 65:

“Ellen White’s Prophetic Gift”

“And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven,

having the everlasting gospel

to preach unto them that dwell on the earth,

and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

Saying with a loud voice,

Fear God, and give glory to Him;

for the hour of His judgment is come:

and worship him that made heaven,

and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. “

Harold Camping thought Ellen White to be a false prophet, because he taught that God was finished with prophets in the New Testament era when the Bible was a finished Book.

.

And, of course, Camping was correct!

.

God was no longer raising up prophets.

.

“Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward”

So, just how does this fact reconcile with Ellen White’s prophetic ministry?

.

Oh no, Ellen White herself never claimed infallibility. Nor did she claim her writings to be on par with Scripture.

.

But what her critics, such as Harold Camping, did not realize, was that God was bringing a people back under the Law.

.

And the Adventist Church was a microcosmic picture of the Old Testament Jews.

.

And just as God added 15 years to Hezekiah’s life, so also, God was extending the Church era 150 years, from 1844 to 1994.

.

And just as God made the sundial go back 10 degrees, so also, God was bringing His people back under the Law.

“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the Ark of His Testament:”

But why would God do such a thing? Why was God seemingly going back to Old Testament Law?

.

Listen…“And the temple of God was opened in heaven,

and there was seen in his temple the ark of His Testament:

and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings,

and an earthquake, and great hail.”

Revelation 11:19

.

The Book of Revelation prophesied that the Ark of the Covenant in Heaven would appear in the last days.

.

And Ellen White was the divinely-chosen messenger to reveal the heavenly sanctuary and its Ark, containing the Ten Commandments.

.

And so, being a throwback to the Old Testament, Ellen White was allowed to prophesy in a similar manner to Old Testament prophets.

.

And so then, Harold Camping correctly taught that God was no more bringing prophecies in the New Testament Church-era.

And this 3rd Angel’s Message is given to reconcile those first two messages.

THE ARK IN THE HEAVENS

**If a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour…**

.

**…they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation.**

.

It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)

.

At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward.

.

But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left.

.

The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels…

.

…which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible (for instance, “the seven stars are the angels…” Revelation 1:20).

.

Well, this concept of getting out of Dodge is nothing new!

Even back in the days of Lot, Abraham’s nephew, God warned him to “get out of Dodge!”

But of course, back in those days, “Dodge” was actually called “Sodom and Gomorrah”.

“FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS”

Yes, the day finally came in which things had devolved into such sad and horrible decadence, that God’s wrath was finally ready to be poured upon the four cities of Sodom!

And God was warning His people to “look not behind thee…escape to the mountain…lest thou be consumed!” Genesis 19:17

THE SAD FORMER “REFORMATION NATIONS”

Sadly, we have reached that fateful day in which the destruction of Sodom will be repeated!

And the very nations which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation, have all but turned away from the Gospel of Christ and are now receiving their just recompense from God Almighty!

It’s such a sad ending for these once-great nations! It makes us want to cry!

SODOM RISING ONCE AGAIN!

Destruction and spiritual bankruptcy have replaced the love of Christ in those once-faithful nations!

Secularism and dead religions have been allowed to move in and take control of those spiritually dead nations!

The great multitudes are now in spiritual darkness!

And Sodom and Gomorrah are once again rising up all around God’s perplexed people!

SCHOOLS OF SODOM!

And the once-trusted institutions, such as school systems and libraries, are now teaching children such things as atheism, evolution, Socialist Marxism, and now even beginning to aggressively push Sodomy and even neo-racism!

Yes, there is a movement afoot to endorse and even encourage your children to embrace sodomy in its various forms. And just as the men of Sodom tried to force themselves on Lot’s heaven-sent guests, society is now beginning to press this heinous and unhappy lifestyle upon your children!

.

And if God destroyed that city because men attempted to force themselves upon grown beings, then how much more upon a society that is forcing its perversions upon relatively innocent little children?

“He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.”

Psalm 78:49

But God is purposely allowing this to go forth!

A myriad of unseen “evil angels” are now marshaling all the governments, learning institutions, and corporations in a concerted effort to force the public to bow down to these devilish, antichrist ideologies! (“He cast upon them the fierceness of His anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.” Psalm 78:49)

And it is God’s purpose to give His people a loud wake-up call to get their children out of this horrible situation before they become brainwashed into these evil ideologies!

HIGH-PRICED CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS

And the sad fact is, that almost all Christian children attend public schooling!

.

It would have been really nice if the churches had started a volunteer program in which parents could have taken turns operating a very low-cost schooling.

.

But instead, churches hired professionals to run their schools, instead of using church facilities, often in expensive buildings with high upkeep, which resulted in costly monthly tuition, which few could afford, especially families with several school-age children!

.

RACISM NOW BEING TAUGHT AND ENCOURAGED

.

Tragically, Satan, in his role as The False Prophet, has been permitted to speak, “as a dragon”. (Revelation 13:11).

.

And so, this unseen spirit of antichrist works through the various media Goliaths to force the world to bow down to his unchristlike qualities.

.

And he even is speaking as a dragon in today’s schools, not only pushing various antichrist ideologies, such as atheistic socialism, etc….

.

But not content with these ideologies, Satan has begun to rewrite history to make it seem that the USA was founded on racism. And school children are now being taught that skin color determines that they are inferior in one way or another.

.

Such a great lie is not only teaching dishonesty but will undoubtedly create hatred and distrust in the hearts of schoolchildren against their own fellow classmates!

.

THE HIGHEST CALLING!

.

But there is no higher calling than for parents to bring up their children “in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.” Ephesians 6:4

.

And if there is any way possible, caring parents should attempt to home-school their children even if it means giving up any and every luxury!

.

Some Christian parents are forming home-schooling groups. And an increasing number of on-line home-school programs are now being offered.

.

And at the very least, even to just sit down daily with the children after they return from public schooling, encouraging them, by example, to learn to love reading!

.

Nevertheless, to get them as far away as possible from public school is by far, the best option!

.

This intimate daily reading circle would probably produce incredible results! (of course, the best Book is the Bible!)

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).

.

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

.

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

And God mercifully gave this nation an incredible constitution: a wonderful gift given by the Almighty, because of cruel tyranny He allowed by the harsh hand of Satan, throughout the various European nations during the centuries of The Dark Ages.

Yes, throughout the Dark Ages of Europe, Satan, using the evil, apostate church of that day, wore out the saints through various forms of persecution, against them and against the Bible they loved!

Yes, God in His mercy, gave this nation His manifold blessings, knowing how His people suffered so greatly through the centuries of the Dark Ages of Europe! And He allowed the United States to grow and thrive.

.

But as America prospered, the Church began to also enjoy the carnal riches and pleasures of the world. Thus, the Church quickly became sleepy-eyed and lukewarm, fulfilling the words of Jesus…“Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of My mouth.
Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:”

But the U.S.A. was allowed to continue, gradually devolving from its original greatness.

.

And as a result, over the past decades, the secular leaders of this nation, without any connection to Heaven lost whatever wisdom that God mercifully shed on this once great nation!

.

And now, judgment was finally and fully falling on the world’s last great hope for true liberty.

.

And those secular and atheist leaders made increasingly bad decisions for this declining nation. In the various government bodies, God’s judgment was now falling. And as of late, it seems apparent that God’s blessings have been removed from this decadent, cornucopian super-society, while a few other nations seem to be getting more and more powerful!

.

But behind the scenes, in the dark shadows of the spiritual realm, Satan had now been permitted to carry out his evil plans. This world’s last great experiment in freedom was ripe for destruction. And even though, the foolish decisions of our leaders seem to lack all rhyme and reason, Satan, “the god of this world” is orchestrating all those bad decisions in such a way that will bring a snare upon the entire world, as he helps usher in the long afore-promised war in the place which is called “Armageddon”.

.

While the media goliaths were busily deceiving the populace into a false sense of security, the sin-sick nation was receiving her just recompense for her past sins.

.

Meanwhile, the apostate churches of the last days, the previous “protestant churches”, were now teaching false doctrines, and bringing in world-loving elements into the church. Yes, the Church was now fast asleep and allowed Satan to steal a march upon them, bringing in false brethren into the churches, greatly compromising the churches and the truth.

.

And while we were all sleeping, Satan was busily setting in place every last detail of his plans to persecute God’s people. But when all was ready, Satan no longer worked in the shadows. No, rather, he began to work boldly through secularists, engaging in seeming madness and overt wickedness, which, of course, gave a rude awakening to God’s sleeping saints! And now, realizing that there was nothing left in the world for them to lean upon, God’s abounding grace caused His remnant people to fully trust in the exceeding great and precious promises of His Word. Thus, the saints of God began to shine in such a way that the secularists and apostate churches could not ignore! The promises of God’s Word now became like stepping stones of safety in an upward highway of holiness out of the craziness and abject evil which burned like a fiery furnace all around the world! Now, the church became like highly polished gem-stones, purified as precious gold and silver, and shining even as the Sun! And thus, God’s purpose of the Great Tribulation was fulfilled, and Christ was ready to return for His true Church, and God would bring them to be with Him, in Heaven.

DRAGON’S WAVE OF WATER

.

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon of Revelation 12 Constellation up in the night sky does not. But God has faithfully created this wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically comprised of ten stars.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#’s 1 thru 7, in the sketch), and the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars, (#’s 8, 9, 10).

So in this wave, we see the same 7/10 numbering found in the Revelation description of the heads/horns/crowns of the Dragon.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

ATHEISM AND THE NUMBER “6”

And so, without going into a lengthy discussion, let’s just say that of all the 7 heads of Antichrist, the head which most closely aligns with atheism would logically be the 6th head. And why the 6th head? The Book of Revelation, Chapter 13 warns that the Antichrist Beast has a number of 666. And it describes this number as being the “number of a man”. The number “6” in Scripture has to do with “Man”. It is a number which reminds of the 6th Day of Creation; the day that Man was created. Man was created on the 6th day. And so, Mankind is very much connected with the number “6”

And since atheism is the religion which holds Mankind as the supreme ruler of Earth, then the number “6”, being the number of Man, seems to correspond to the 6th head of Antichrist, very well.

Now these ideas may not be “written in stone”, as the saying goes. And nothing hinges upon, nor falls apart, with or without these theories. But sufficed to say, there is strong evidence that these concepts have biblical support.

And so, this 6th star in the Revelation 12 Dragon’s wave of water, would correspond to the 6th head of the Antichrist Beast. And as already said, “waves” in Scripture, represent the many false ideologies which Satan has flooded the world with, throughout time. So that is why this Signs Of Heaven website believes that atheism was the 6th head of Antichrist.

In this faithless, unbelieving world, the spiritual realm seldom gets any credit nor any blame for much of anything.

Except for insurance companies, not many others attribute things to “an act of God”.

.

And certainly, even fewer will attribute anything to “an act of Satan and his evil angels”!

.

Yes, the Devil has pretty much reduced himself to a cartoonish, red-suited, pitchfork-wielding dude with horns, a tail, and a villain-like mustache!

And yet, the Bible describes Satan vastly different…

…”Thus saith the Lord GOD;

Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty…

every precious stone was thy covering…

Thou wast perfect in thy ways

As this above passage alludes, Lucifer, now given the office and title of “Satan”, and “The Devil”, this mighty angel was given many qualities and powers beyond what we know!

But if God was to ever nullify Satan’s powers, humanity would be helpless in many areas of their personal and collective endeavors.

Societies would quickly deteriorate and crumble.

Sports and hobbies would lose their appeal. athletes would lose their agility.

Composers and artists and literary “geniuses” would suddenly lose their inspiration!

Politicians and government officials would begin making poor decisions (which already they are increasingly doing).

Well, for those who remember that “lovely” song, The Age of Aquarius, the general consensus is, “It must’ve gotten off on the wrong foot! You know! The Age of Aquarius must have gotten off on the wrong foot!”

Well, just listen to a few lines…

And Jupiter aligns with Mars,
Then peace will guide the planets
And love will steer the stars”

Yes, once great institutions are now crumbling before our very eyes! It almost reminds one of the verse from Revelation… “and the cities of the nations fell:” Revelation 16:19.

And those supposed pillars of society, such as banks, and learning institutes, and governments are growing weak and corrupt!

THE FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS STARS

.

A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014.

.

This constellation appears as a snake.

.

Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon.

.

It also has a small single star for an eye.

.

Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called “The Five Foolish Virgins Stars”.

.

These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars, from the Five Wise Virgins Stars.

.

But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!

.

Now another incredible aspect to all this is that this snake/serpent is winding its way around the backside of this Crown.

And one really phenomenal aspect to this, is that each jaw (composed of two stars each) is pointing in two directions.

In other words, if you drew a line parallel with these two sets of stars (the head of Draco), they each go in two directions…

…one leading to the Valley of Decision Constellation…

.

…and the other going straight to the Broad Way to Hell Constellation (AKA Pisces).

.

Now if one studies the Valley of Decision Constellation, it is soon discovered that the same concept, of the Wise and Foolish Virgins, is also depicted in this constellation group.

“Satan: King of Cringe!”

“Put on the whole armour of God,

that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked”

Have you ever had a “cringe moment”?

**Perhaps, most of us can wholeheartedly answer, ‘Oh yeah!’ to that question!**

SOME CRINGE MOMENTS

For example, have you ever thought back on some stupid thing you said?

Or perhaps you did something really embarrassing?

Or foolish?

Well, haven’t we all had cringe moments when we were reminded of some past incident which we now regret?

Ephesians 6:12

The Bible reveals the true source of our troubles in this world…

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places”

Ephesians 6:12

**Yes, our struggles are not with “flesh and blood”, but with the unseen forces of the spirit-realm.**

.

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

.

So, just why does God allow Satan to attack us in this way? Just why is he allowed to strike us with such fiery darts?

.

For two reasons:

1: God wants us to put our heavenly armor on! And there is nothing like Satan’s fiery attacks to make us realize that we need to be fully armored up!

.

2: God wants us to be fully inoculated against recommitting those same sins. And allowing Satan to remind us of those past deeds (which he’s very happy and willing to do so) will help us in the future as we become tempted to return to those same old sins!

.

Psa 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

.

Listen to the Psalmist…
Psa 38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
Psa 38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

So, let’s be wise as serpents but harmless as doves in our knowledge of truth, amidst this world of lies.

And as we extinguish the enemy’s fiery darts, with our shield of faith, let’s remember that those cringe moments are allowed by God to inoculate us against repeating our regrettable decisions of the past!

This above verse reveals that humans are not the problem. But rather, the unseen spiritually dark underworld is the cause of mankind’s troubles!

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment!

As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into a similar color and shape, of that undersea object!

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

Certainly Satan and his unseen armies love to make themselves invisible!

THE BIBLE FORETOLD OF THIS DAY!

Have you ever been on a jury?

.

Well, if you have, then perhaps you have discovered how convincing it is, to hear just one side of the case.

.

In other words, when you only hear one side of the story, it almost seems like an open-and-shut case, doesn’t it?

.

But then comes the hour when the defense begins their presentation!

.

Then comes the moment when there begins to be a balance struck!

.

SOME DEEPER TRUTHS NOT SO CLEAR

.

Well, God has written much of the Bible in the very same way!

.

Oh no, the truths concerning the basic plan of Salvation are clear enough, so that none need stumble.

.

But other truths, such as the exact nature of Hell have not been made so clear. And God has purposely done this.

.

Yes, God has given some passages which seem to support this church-doctrine called “Eternal Torment”.

.

And yet many other passages seem to support the doctrine which the Bible often refers to as “sleep”.

.

**And so, in order to properly understand the true nature of Hell, a serious Bible student must examine all the related passages and attempt to be “rightly dividing the Word of Truth”.**

SEEMINGLY OPPOSING VERSES

The next step is to realize that this question regarding the nature of Hell is complicated, because God has given many seemingly opposing scriptures about the nature of Hell.

And it is only when we are willing to let go of our cherished traditional understanding and begin to explore all these different passages in the Bible, that we now begin to see the truth!

.

**But of course, when you attend a Bible study on the nature of Hell, you will mostly notice an overwhelming bias in what is being taught, omitting verses which contradict “Eternal Torment”.**

.

So, here is the crux of the problem!

.

Do Bible teachers love their cherished church traditions more than they love truth?

.

Well, one thing is for sure: and as already revealed in this devotional, the love of truth is the gift of God.

And so, this important step in discovering the true nature of Hell, can be concisely said to be the gathering of all related Bible passages, and rejecting all non-biblical terminology which gives a false balance to the scales of truth!

A few days ago, a certain individual on the Internet, contributed his belief that humans are basically good.

And he cited a few examples of mankind’s goodness.

Now, before going any further, let’s get rid of this notion that the human heart is the blood pump.

**In John Bunyan’s incredible, ground-breaking tale, “Pilgrim’s Progress”, The lead character, “Christian” found himself in the “Doubting Castle” of the Giant, “Despair”.**

.

And the Giant Despair’s wife came along and told Christian to take a gun and commit suicide.

.

Well, this little book, Pilgrim’s Progress is a really relevant book for Christians today.

.

There are so many temptations which come at us, causing us to doubt God and His love and protection.

.

And the Devil will use these moments to come to us and flood us with all sorts of discouragements.

.

But we need not despair! We just need to redirect our minds back to Heavenly thoughts and prayer. And with all the Bible’s “exceeding great and precious promises”, we can take hold of them as “life preservers” for our soul’s salvation!

.

For instance…”Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.” Psalm 42:5, 11 & 43:5

.

So, whenever we are tempted to “throw in the towel”, we simply need to hold on fast to “the hem of His Garment”, and not let go until Satan flees and our troubled heart is free once again!

Below are a few of those exceeding great and precious promises we can cling to in our time of great need!

SO WHERE ARE THE “MULTITUDES”?…

So where are the multitudes in this constellation?

**Well, if you look at this sketch to the right, carefully, you will see an ENTIRE GALAXY making a slow trek up the steep slope toward the summit of one of the mountains.**

It is the mountain which is to the north in this sketch.

**This is the galaxy commonly called Andromeda.**

It is estimated to have possibly a trillion stars!

Is a trillion stars a big enough multitude? Oh yes! Listen to God talking to Abraham…

But this mountain in which this multitude of stars is climbing represents a very awesome and wonderful Bible concept.

**This mountain in Scripture is known as Mount Zion.**

And it is also known as the Mount of Blessing.

It represents that spiritual mountain which Believers must climb, in order to reach the City of God.

Listen to Scripture… “But ye are come unto mount Zion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem…To the…church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven…” Hebrews 12:22, 23.

Well it sure seems that this verse is correct when it says the words… “which are written in heaven”!

Because this galaxy in this constellation group is a wonderful picture of the Church as it makes it trek to the summit of this starry mountain; a picture of God’s Church…His faithful people…written in the heavens.

In the last installments of this little series, the book, “Roots” was the centerpiece for a discussion.

And perhaps this possible historical figure, Kunta Kinte, can also be used for today’s subject of “sitting still”.

AMPUTATION

Now author, Alex Haley, wrote that his ancestor, an American slave named Kunta Kinte, had the front-half of his foot amputated, so as to keep him from running away from his family and from his master.

And of course, this was a very cruel and heartless way of dealing with another human being!

.

Nevertheless, Kunta Kinte’s loss of limb forever solved the problem of him running away. (Of course, his newly-acquired family was the major reason for staying put).

SPIRITUAL AMPUTATION

But like so many things in nature and the world, Kunta Kinte’s amputation also has a spiritual analogy, when you really think about it.

Listen… “Great is our Lord, and of great power:

His understanding is infinite.

The LORD lifts up the meek:

He delights not in the strength of the horse:

He takes not pleasure in the legs of a man.

The LORD takes pleasure in them that fear Him,

in those that hope in His mercy.”

Psalm 147:5, 6, 10, 11 .

Notice it says here that the Lord, “delights not in the strength of the horse: He takes not pleasure in the legs of a man.”

So, what in the world can this remarkable statement have to do with the Gospel!?!

.

Does God really take no pleasure in a man’s legs? So why in the world would God take no pleasure in a man’s legs?

“BE STILL & KNOW THAT I AM GOD!”

Psalm 46:10

Well, listen to this verse about God’s rebellious people… “therefore have I cried concerning this, Their strength is to sit still.” Isaiah 30:7.

This statement was made at a time when God’s people were looking to Egypt for help and strength.

.

And today, far too many Christians are running ahead of the Lord, involving ourselves in things that the Lord has not called us do!

.

So often, we are not content to simply put on Christ’s very light and pleasant yoke and do the work which God has given us.

.

Yes, in a very real sense, we are making the very same mistake that God’s people made during Old Testament times!

The stark reality is that we live in a faithless and unbelieving world in which the human race puts their confidence in their own strength to accomplish good.

And you can’t really blame the world!

After all, they have no faith nor belief, nor confidence in the promises of Scripture!

And so, if something needs to be accomplished, then it must be totally performed by flesh and blood.

.

Now, of course, each person has daily responsibilities which he or she must take care of.

.

But there are many other issues which would be better placed in the almighty hands of God.

And as we continue in God’s Word, the Bible, we gradually grow stronger in faith which yields a harvest of peace!

Yes, just what is all this passage from the above Psalm 19:2, 4, 5 speaking of?

**Well, as we all know, or should know, Christ is called “the Sun of Righteousness” in Malachi 4:2, and “the sun” in other places.**

.

**But then Psalm 19 describes this bridegroom as if he is “coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race”.**

.

This is most likely speaking of how the sun rises each morning, and rejoices to begin his race anew, as he appears to be traveling across the sky all day, seemingly racing back to his resting place.

.

.

And isn’t it true that each new day goes by so quickly, soon becoming another night?

.

And then, before we know it, another Sabbath day arrives, and a brand-new week begins on the 1st day of the week.

And so, just how does all this relate to you and me?

Very simple!

You see, this psalm speaks of the sun as a bridegroom rejoicing to run a daily race.

**And, as already said, this all obviously relates to Christ the “Sun of Righteousness”.**

And so, does this reveal that Christ likewise rejoices daily, as if in a race? And if Christ regards each new day as a race, then shouldn’t we also?

Of course, the answer might be “Yes, Yes, Yes!!!”

And so, many cities began a campaign to do just that!

Well, as you probably already know, the results of defunding and defaming the police brought disastrous results!

THE BIBLE FORETOLD OF THIS DAY!

It’s truly frightening to see all this totalitarianism being ratcheted up so swiftly.

In April 24‘s devotional (click here to read) it was revealed that when the Moon is full, there are three faces etched into its surface:

1: one that appears as a man,

2: the second face as a wolf (or some similar dog-like beast),

3: and the third face as a rabbit, or perhaps a mouse…a rodent of some type.

PHARISEEISM: THE SPIRIT OF PRIDE

But these two devotionals are focusing on the second face, the wolf-like beast.

.

If you will notice, this creature appears to have somewhat of a judgmental facial expression.

.

Yes, one of his eyebrows is raised, causing him to appear as if he is looking down at the world with a judgmental eye.

.

This face represents a proud Pharisee.

.

This is because the Pharisees were a class of very morally proud spiritual leaders.

.

And the Pharisees looked down on others with a judgmental eye (much like this wolf-like Moon beast).

TAKING CREDIT FOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Well, Let’s pick up where we left off in our last devotional on this subject.

Yes, in the previous devotional of this little 4-part series (click here) a number of Bible passages were offered to confirm the idea that it is God, and not man, who chooses the life circumstances of each and every human.

Listen to Paul’s rebuke to the Corinthians for their pride…

“For who maketh thee to differ from another?

and what hast thou that thou didst not receive?

now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory,

as if thou hadst not received it?”

1st Corinthians 4:7

.

Here is yet another proof-text which further confirms the Divine Providence of our infinite God!

These Corinthians were proud of their accomplishments, not realizing that they were perhaps the most spiritually deficit of the churches in Paul’s day.

.

But Paul pointed out to them that if there was anything good about them, it was only a gift from God and nothing they could take credit for.

GOD MADE…”THE DUMB…DEAF…THE SEEING…THE BLIND’

And this same self-approbating error exists today.

And those who are living in unfortunate circumstances are not merely the product of bad choices…

…but are probably being pressed down by the unseen forces of Hell: Satan and his fellow evil-angels.

If the citizens of this fallen planet would really take hold, fully, of this truth, then all judging and condemning would soon come to a complete halt.

And yet, in His great love, our Heavenly Father has put each of us in our very own circumstances for various reasons:

**1. To discover for our own self, the stark reality that “my selfish ways do not bring me true happiness or peace, but rather bring sorrow, disappointment, and ultimately, sickness and death”.**

2. In hopes that I might grow tired and weary of my selfish ways, and at last, begin to seek out to find Him, and return to Him forever.

LIVING IN A SPIRITUAL BATTLE-ZONE

And so, in light of these past several devotionals on this subject, the plea goes out to each and every one of us to stop from all judging of others, whether they be rich or poor, or moral or immoral, sober or drunk, industrious or dysfunctional, etc…

.

We just do not realize how the unseen powers, both heavenly or hellish, are working behind the scenes in the life of each and every living soul!

.

“Judge not, that ye be not judged.“

Matthew 7:1

.

And now that we have finally reached that great and fearful day of God’s Judgment, it is quite possible that those of us who thought that we were better than others just might find ourselves caught in a dramatic role-reversal!

.

Yes, the day has arrived in which those of us who looked down our noses at others might just wake up to discover that “I” am now the one begging on the street-corner or “I” am now the drunkard lying in the gutter, etc….

Well, the Good News is, that we modern-day “Corinthians” can still repent of our proud pharisaism and plead for God to burn away the antichrist spirit completely and utterly out of our heart.

Yes, we can fall down before the throne of God (fall down spiritually, not literally) and beg for Him to do a work in our heart to crucify the “old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;” Ephesians 4:22

And then, when that Old Man is fully crucified, we will wholeheartedly agree with Paul…“Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.” 1st Timothy 1:15

Can you believe it? At the writing of this devotional (2017), it has been over 50 years since the Summer of Love in San Francisco!

Remember that?

Well, most people were born in the years following that notable event.

But it was a real effort by that young generation to engage in brotherly love at a time when America was at war.

Everything was peace and love!

.

Well, it wasn’t long until that movement went the way of almost every movement.

As we look around, we are amazed and confounded by the firestorm of hate-fueled, crime-filled violence in the world, and even in the former Christian nations.

Law and order are giving way to a corrupt judicial system. Police are prevented from doing their job.

The schools have groomed young people to hate, based upon skin-color, and against unpopular political/religious ideologies, and even against orthodox morality!

Consequently, this prophecy from Matthew 24:12, 13 is just another evidence that the Bible is verily, the infallible “Word of Truth”. John 17:17.

THE ARK IN THE HEAVENS

So, what importance to us is all this information?

**Well, if a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour…**

**…they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation.**

.

It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)

.

At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward.

.

But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left.

.

The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible.

.

We’ve indulged in all types of music, all types of dramas, comedies, operas, dances, and all kinds of sports, and all kinds of foods.

The history of mankind has been filled with various selfish lifestyles.

Ecclesiastes 1:14

Now, the Book of Ecclesiastes was a book about King Solomon’s commission from God “to seek and to search out all things done under the sun”

.

And Solomon’s life of searching brought him to the final conclusion: “I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.” Ecclesiastes 1:14

.

Solomon, now an old man, finally realized that everything which this world of selfishness has produced, brings no profit, but only unhappiness, sickness, remorse and ultimately, death! Not only did Solomon greatly destroy his own life, but all of humanity has likewise reaped suffering, sorrow, destruction and death from our long history of indulgence in sin!

And thus will it be with Earth’s final two experiments in sin! Yes, both experiments will only result in sorrow and suffering and death!

Now, of course, at the present stage of these two social experiments, society is still trying their best to put a happy face on these things. Yes, the public is being deluded by Satan’s mouthpiece, the major media goliaths. And the coverup is now in full throttle mode, as the statistics of Sodomite suicides and sicknesses are being suppressed. And the voices attempting to warn the public about the great unhappiness and destruction resulting from these perverted lifestyles are being silenced and censored.

But it’s an absolute guarantee that both these experiments in sin will eventually be seen for what they actually are: miserable failures, leading to destruction and death!

GENESIS, CHAPTER 19:1-29, A PROPHECY OF EARTH’S FINALE’

And this story of the destruction of Sodom reveals an aspect of how this world will end…

“But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom

it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

The story of Lot and Sodom’s destruction is a visible metaphor of the spiritual reality in these last days!

Even the very same warning which came to Lot is repeated in these last days…

But while the final curtain is about to close on this world, there still is time for any and every man, woman, and child to get into the lifeboats, and not go down with this sinking titanic world of sin!

King Solomon, the richest man who ever lived, gave his final summation in that little Book of Ecclesiastes:

“Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought,

and on the labour that I had laboured to do:

and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit,

and there was no profit under the sun.”

Ecclesiastes 2:11

Read and study and prayerfully take to heart, the words and warnings of the wisest of all mortals…“behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit, and there was no profit under the sun.”

Let’s not allow ourselves to become bigger fools than we already have been!

And so, after living for years as the world’s biggest fool, Solomon finally returns to his sense, and ends that little book of Ecclesiastes with the final conclusion…

The House of the Devil’s Chains
