Few things in Creation are as pretty and happy as a fluttering little butterfly which lives and thrives on the sweet nectar from every correct flower!

And those who are in doubt about the origin of life, need not look any further than to behold these busy little living portraits of beauty and joy!

No earthly artist can create anything as beautiful and joyful as the butterfly.
.
It took an infinitely wise Master-Artist to create and design all this!
.
Even this photo of an anti-butterfly, a moth, shows off its beauty!
.

.
.
.
And instead of focusing on dead fossilized bones, any truth-seeking soul should instead redirect his or her focus upon the amazing LIVING creatures which our great God has designed!
.
They tell us the true story about how this universe was created!

This is because these beautiful and marvelous creatures give us a tiny hint that the world had an Infinitely wise and Grand Master-Designer who loves to share His beauty and heavenly joy with the inhabitants of this fallen world.
.
And all this great cosmos we live in is not merely the product of some mindless explosion in which nothingness somehow became chaos and confusion, eventually transforming its own lifeless self into a vast universe full of life and law and order and beauty and poetry and wisdom and grandeur…and love!
.
But rather, this is actually an awesome expanse of our Heavenly Father, the infinite Creator’s own making.

“But ask now the beasts,
and they shall teach thee; 
and the fowls of the air,
and they shall tell thee:
Or speak to the earth,
and it shall teach thee:
and the fishes of the sea
shall declare unto thee.
Who knoweth not in all these
that the hand of the LORD
hath wrought this?”

TODAY’S PRAYER
Dear Lord, Please open my eyes to see the joy and the beauty of God’s creations. Open my ears to hear the heavenly message which these spiritual metaphors try to teach us…

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON
.
“Then the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before his ancients gloriously.” Isaiah 24:23
.
When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16). The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.
.
So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world. But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion. Listen…

“Ye are the light of the world…Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16
.
However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face. This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord. Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).
