Come Out of Her, My People!

Part 28:

“Therefore thus saith the LORD,

If thou return, then will I bring thee again,

and thou shalt stand before Me:

and if thou take forth the precious from the vile,

thou shalt be as My mouth:

let them return unto thee;

but return not thou unto them.”

CITY OF CONFUSION

.

Babylon was given its name during the building of that infamous Tower of Babylon, because God confused their speech…

.

Listen… “Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:9 

.

And so, the name, Babylon, actually means, “City of Confusion”. Isaiah 24:10-12

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”

Revelation 18:4

.

The call is now going out to anyone who will listen… “Babylon is fallen is fallen…Come out of her My people, that ye partake not of her sins, and receive not of her plagues” Revelation 18:1, 4

.

Yes, the time is come for God’s people to make our Exodus out of the “City of Confusion”, the various Christian organizations. And this is a literal Exodus! (Isaiah 24:10, “The city of confusion”)

.

And the reader is encouraged to click on and begin reading this series of devotionals called “Come Out of Her, My People”, to gain a fuller understanding of just why God considers today’s churches to be spiritual Babylon.

.

And yet, before we can completely come of her, we must come out of her in our minds. In other words, we still have great confusion about what is truth and what is merely the wine of her false doctrines, that we have been drinking for so many years.

“HOW TO RAISE UP GOOD LITTLE BABYLONIANS”

.

In a moment of unchristian sarcasm, one might write a devotional, titled, “How To Raise Up Good Little Babylonians”.

.

And it would not be very difficult to write such a satirical article.

.

All one would have to do is to observe how Christian parents are currently raising their children.

.

MARRY A HALF-HEARTED CHRISTIAN? “

2nd Corinthians 6:14 says, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers…”

.

For instance, many church-going singles end up marrying a spouse who has little love for the Bible and even less desire to follow the counsels therein! 

.

And so, many young couples start off in life with less-than-optimal conditions for raising God-loving children.

.

Because invariably, the nominal Christian spouse will want as much of this selfish world as possible, thus bringing up children who will likewise love this Babylonian world!

.

SEND THEM TO SECULAR SCHOOLS

.

Another key ingredient to raising up little Babylonians can be observed by the incredibly high percent of Christian children who attend public schools.

.

These schools have been greatly turned into indoctrination centers in which children are filled up with worldly ideals and philosophies: atheism, perverted lifestyles, books on witchcraft, etc., socialism, eastern religions, and other similar ideologies are beginning to be freely taught to Christian children in today’s public schools.

(And now even racism is the lens which many schools teach through!)

.

Oh yes, there may be many fine and dedicated teachers.

.

But “the god of this world”, Satan is not derelict in his tireless efforts to wipe away every trace of love for the Bible out of the hearts of Christian children! Thus, our children end up graduating with a doctorate degree in, “The Ways and Wares of Babylon, the World!”

QUASI-CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS

.

And even those few parents who can afford to send their children to a private Christian school, will be dismayed to find that most Christian schools have integrated many worldly elements into those Christian schools. And even if they wanted to keep it Christian, the secular government (and societal peer-pressure) is demanding more and more secular requirements, leaving little time in the school-day for Bible study.

.

But most Christian schools do not need any encouragement to adopt the ways and wares of Babylon. Quite often, these schools compete with secular schools in sports, some even having cheerleaders.

.

Now for the secular schools, there may be nothing wrong with all this, considering that the dust of this earth will be their eternal resting-place.

.

But God has called Christians out of the world, to walk in the ways of Heaven. And so, for these Christian schools to allow and even promote secular music, sensual dancing, secular conversation, and secular lifestyles, as a means of “staying relevant”, only further indoctrinates young people into a secular mind-set.

WATCH TELEVISION

.

Now, if all this is not bad enough, young children come home from this quasi-Christian education, to find the parents watching television.

.

A recent Barna Group survey found that “active Christians who attend church each week” watch over 3 hours of television per day! Now just imagine if those same parents spent those 3 hours studying their Bibles each day! Then there would be no need for scathing devotionals to be written! We would have a Church full of Apostle Pauls!

.

But instead, we have a Church which Christ says, “I will spew the out of My mouth!” Revelation 3:16

.

MINGLING WITH UNBELIEVERS

.

Now, the next ingredient, which is commonly found in Christianity today, is for parents to let their children play with secular children after school. Talk about getting a street education!

.

Listen to Paul…“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,” 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17 

.

As this above passage promises, by separating ourselves from unbelievers, God will begin to treat us as His children!

“The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.”

1st Corinthians 15:56

.

Another tragic mistake made by many parents, is to treat sin with casual and cavalier lightness.

.

For example, the parent might say with a chuckle, “Now Johnny, we don’t want to be telling fibs, now do we?”. Such flippant and apathetic responses to a child’s sins, only deadens their little consciences to the horrific nature of sin, thus unfitting them for Heaven.

.  

Listen to Paul…“…that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.” Romans 7:13

.

Of course, the root of the problem is, the parents, themselves, have blunted consciences, and so they naturally treat sin with slightness, not only in their own lives, but also in their children’s lives! 

.

Such a modern-day tragedy!

.

There is a way to admonish children in a gentle and loving, yet serious tone, which godly parents will strive to always achieve and maintain.

“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

Ephesians 6:4  

.

An integral part of counteracting the overflowing tide of evil in this fallen world, is for parents to make every effort to reflect the loving ways of Jesus to our children. In simpler terms, we must make sure to live with our family in such a way as to show them that Heaven is a place of joy!

.

And the parents need to show much heavenly love for our children. Whether engaging them in their little games and sports, or hugging them often, or just making life in the home nice and breezy. 

.

This is an integral part of what it means to “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

.

The Christian parents must, kindly, patiently, and gently, guide our children through their childhood in such a way which will cause them to desire, yes, even yearn, to walk side-by-side with us along the joy-filled highways and byways of eternity-future!

(Of course, Satan & his evil-angels will try their best to somehow disrupt the Christian household.)

“COME OUT OF HER (HARLOT BABYLON) MY PEOPLE!”

.

The Good News in all this bad news, is just this: God is now calling His people to come out of Babylon, the world, and Babylon, the tragically fallen church-world! Yes, Babylon is twice fallen: the world and sadly, the worldly churches fulfill the two-fold Divine sentence, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen!” Revelation 18:2

.

Therefore, to come out of the world-system, as far as possible is not optional, but is mandated by God, at the threat, “that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues!” Revelation 18:4

.

And so, the great underlying message of Revelation 18 is that God does not want His faithful people to share any further in the corrupting influences and spiritual bankruptcy of today’s churches.

BREAD OF LIFE AND LIVING WATERS

.

But the really great news is, that God has spread a table in the wilderness for His people…“And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fall.” Isaiah 30:25 

.

Here is a wonderful promise, howbeit, veiled in allegorical language, that there will be an abundance of living waters for those Christians who are escaped from Babylonian captivity! And these High Mountains and hills which Isaiah 30:25 speaks of, are actually the separated life which God wants His people to enjoy, as they hide in God’s secret pavilion, the Bible.

.

And as Christian parents separate themselves from our worldly connections and begin to live out the pure uncompromising Christlike life, our children will begin to make a distinction between, “those who serve God, and those who serve Him not!” (See Malachi 3:18, for exact quote.)

GOD’S PEOPLE TAKEN CAPTIVE

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

God has a people in Babylon. Yes, Mystery Babylon is the Mother of Harlots. The sketch to the left shows her riding this beast with 7 heads and 10 horns.

.

.

But in that spiritual city, there are those who still love God to a certain degree. And before the final plagues are poured out upon her, God has been and will continue to call His people out of her… “And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her (Babylon), my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

And so in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction. They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!
