Part 10:

“Blinding The Minds of Men”

“But if our gospel be hid,

it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world

hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

who is the image of God,

should shine unto them.”

2nd Corinthians 4:3, 4

.

This above passage reveals a great over-arching truth concerning the world we live in: namely, that “the god of this world” has blinded the minds of earth’s inhabitants, so that they may not see the light of Heaven, nor the glory of Jesus.

.

**Yes, Lucifer and his vast armies, now titled, “Satan”, works overtime to make sure this world’s inhabitants remain their prisoners on this “Devil’s Island” prison planet.**

PRISONERS OF OUR SELFISH DESIRES

.

In one particular devotional in this little series (click here), it was put forth that Satan loves to bind the hearts of humans to our selfish desires, thereby keeping us willing slaves to this world by reason of our chains of selfishness.

.

Yes, the “god of this world” fills his loyal subjects with the various “desires of the flesh and of the mind”, so much so that we become captives to our earthly lusts. (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4 & Ephesians 2:3)

.

“OF WHOM THE WAY OF TRUTH SHALL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF”

2nd Peter 2:2

But the Devil is not content in merely turning us into slaves to our own lusts.

.

No, but he also works tirelessly to cast dirt upon the Bible by any means possible.

.

Whether he does so by raising up lawless fanatics who pretend to be Believers, but who eventually make a mockery of true faith.

.

Or perhaps he raises up some cultist leader who leads a group of followers into a suicide pact.

.

Or maybe he causes some money-crazed televangelist to fall into adultery, or into embezzlement of church donations, or some other public sin.

.

Or he detours and side-tracks Christians into becoming social crusaders against the sins of society.

.

Or he even has caused various denominations to embrace such doctrinal heresies as “Eternal Torment”, thus making God appear to be some merciless monster-tyrant.

Or he raises up some prosperity-driven gospel in which parishioners begin seeking after the pleasures and treasures and ambitiously proud pursuits of this decadent cornucopian super-society.

Or he raises up false prophets who recklessly and unbiblically predict the day and hour for the return of Christ, only to be proven wrong when that date finally arrives.

.

The end-result of all these devilish tactics is that Christianity gets a black eye, and abject mockers are further emboldened in their loud and defiant criticisms of God’s messengers!

**Of course, Satan is called “the accuser of our brethren” in Revelation 12:10.**

And this silent voice has been whispering his accusations into any listening ear since the day that Eve listened to him accuse God!

But the Christian needs to realize that this fallen planet is a world of lies!

And it is a battle-zone for the souls of men.

Now, in spite of this very negative and discouraging report, there is some very Good News! God is still saving individuals.

And as it says in 2nd Timothy…“if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.” 2nd Timothy 2:25, 26

.

Yes, it is only God who can open the blind eyes of any human. And it is only God who can free a soul from Satan’s prison-house of sin.

.

And without the grace of God, it is impossible for mere humans to see through the thick fog of deception and lies which envelop this hopeless world of sin.

.

And so, because “we are not ignorant of his devices”, we must stand in God’s Most Holy Place as priests, offering up ceaseless prayers and heartfelt petitions on behalf of all those who have been, “taken captive by him (Satan) at his own will”.

LOCATING THE DRAGON

.

REVELATION 12 DRAGON IS NOT DRACO!

.

First, let it be stated, that this Dragon Constellation is not the same constellation commonly referred to as “Draco” (photo to right is Draco).

.

This Revelation 12 Dragon from Signs Of Heaven, has not been previously recognized. But you will discover that it is a very intricate and complex constellation, once you are comfortable locating it (picture below, right).

The star-charts below (below, right) are from Wikipedia and are combined into one chart to show these three constellations, which the editor has sketched over with these three constellations, as they appear when in the west. Hopefully, this will be an assist in locating these constellations in the night-sky.

**The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.**

.

The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .
