Every year, way down yonder in New Orleans, there is a big blowout celebration, just prior to Lent, when good Catholics abstain from meat for 40 days.
.
In this celebration, liquor, dancing girls, and probably every conceivable vice is freely enjoyed by the general populace just before they enter their 40 days of stark abstinence.
.
“Pretty comical!”, many critics probably muse.
.
“Kinda pathetic!”, still others might judge.

THE SOON-COMING TIME OF TROUBLE
.
Nevertheless, the world seems to possess a worldly wisdom which can easily be translated into spiritual realities.
.
And this once-a-year celebration has an eerie resemblance to a long-anticipated event prophesied of, over 2500 years ago!
.
Listen…“And at that time shall Michael stand up,
the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people:
and there shall be a time of trouble,
such as never was since there was a nation
even to that same time:
and at that time thy people shall be delivered,
every one that shall be found written in the book.”
Daniel 21:1
.
Yes, there is coming a time of trouble of which mankind has never before witnessed!
To use a current phrase, one might call it, “The Last Hurrah!”

“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold”
Matthew 24:12
.
But what if, just prior to Christ’s Return, God allowed evil to be seen in all its fullness?
What if He removed the restraints which have long held back the overwhelming tide of wickedness?
.
Let’s just suppose that God would like this world to see what He’s been holding back for so long…
“And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth,
holding the four winds of the earth,
that the wind should not blow on the earth,
nor on the sea, nor on any tree…
Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees,
till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.”
Revelation 7:1, 3 (condensed)

Here we see that the four winds are being held back until the appointed hour when they are unleashed upon the world.

Even now, the former Christian nations are beginning to sink into that “bottomless pit” as they promote sodomy to young school children, and even encourage young children to have their bodies mutilated with harmful drugs to make them appear to be the opposite gender.
.
This is so sick, disgusting and unthinkable, that just a few years ago, such demonic activity would have shocked most reasonable people!
But not today!
.
No, instead of throwing these parents in prison, our societies are celebrating such monstrous procedures!

BIBLE FORETELLS OF CANNIBALISM
.
But this is just the beginning of sorrows!
It’s going to get a lot worse!
The Bible even speaks of cannibalism of children by parents….
.
Just listen to what the Bible says about the last days…
“The hands of the pitiful women
have sodden their own children:
they were their meat
in the destruction of the daughter of My people.”
Lamentations 4:10
.
Make no mistake! Cannibalism is now being somewhat encouraged by at least several leading evolutionists and perhaps others as well.

“…there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was…and at that time thy people shall be delivered…”
Daniel 12:1

Yet, for all those who get on board the Gospel Ship, just prior to this last hurrah called “The Time of Trouble”, there will be deliverance.
.
Oh no, we’ll still be here on earth during this “time of trouble”.
But our hearts will be sitting with Christ in the heavenlies, ministering together with our great High Priest in the Holy of Holies.
.
And when He physically returns to take us with Him, we will enter into the glorious Promised Land in the New Heaven and New Earth, in which this present evil world will seem like just a bad dream!
.
And there we will live forevermore in true happiness and contentment in that Land where roses never fade, and we’ll be forever young!
.

Now if you will stay up all night, you will see that the tables turn very dramatically for our three warriors.

This is because, as night progresses, and this constellation group moves to the west, God has designed this threesome to now be in the opposite circumstance.
Now it is Orion and his Horse who are atop the Dragon.
Now Orion is about to cut off the Dragon’s head with his two-edged sword, while the Horse is stomping on his tail.
And of course, there needs to be no explanation, because this picture tells the whole story.
Jesus wins in the end! God’s people are victorious at last!
No wonder the Bible calls this story…“The Good News”!
