Upward, Into the Promised Land!

Part 4:

“Cleansing the Sanctuary” CONTINUED

“And he said unto me,

Unto two thousand and three hundred days;

then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.”

Daniel 8:14

This above verse foretells of a time when the sanctuary shall be cleansed.

.

And at the end of the year, the earthly priest entered into the temple of Israel, to cleanse the Most Holy Place.

.

And this was a picture of what Christ, our High Priest, will do to His Heavenly Temple in these last days.

In the fulness of prophetic time, God raised up Ellen G. White to bring to the world the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14.

.

This three-fold message was to correct many of the errors which the apostate churches of Europe had brought into God’s House over the long centuries after Christ’s ascension.

PAST AND THE FUTURE OF THE CHURCH

And these three messages would also set a straight course for the Church, giving them a sense of direction into the future, up until Christ’s return, to bring His people to God.

In other words, the messages of the three angels, as presented by Ellen White was to present, in the simplest terms, just where God’s true Church had come from, and where they were going.

.

From the persecution by pagan Rome, to the false doctrines of the European church-world, to the second persecution by the Romish Church, to the Reformation, to the apostasy of the Protestant churches, right up to the final persecution just prior to Christ’s Return: God laid out for His people the entire New Testament history, past, present and future.

WHERE ARE THE NOBLE BEREANS?

Well, as we all know, this message was rejected by the vast majority of the church-world.

.

There just weren’t enough “Noble Bereans” who would prayerfully and with a willing heart and an open mind, “search the scriptures daily whether those things were so” Acts 17:11.

.

And Satan worked overtime to ensure that the churches and denominations would become totally prejudiced against these messages.

.

NOBLE BEREANS WILL HEAR!

And yet, God’s program of purifying a people to Himself had to go forward.

.

And those for whom these messages were given, would ultimately have their eyes and ears opened to receive the precious truths of these three messages.

Now concerning the cleansing of the sanctuary, Ellen White presented how the prophecy of the 2300 days would be fulfilled, as foretold in Daniel, Chapter 8.

And in the 32 minute audio chapter toward the bottom of this page, the timeline is carefully laid out in which the daily and yearly service of the sanctuary is shown, and how it was pointing forward to the Adventist movement.
