and shall shew great signs and wonders;

insomuch that, if it were possible,

they shall deceive the very elect.

“HE’S THE PERFECT PASTOR!”

.

Well, that’s what his congregants seem to think, anyway.

.

You ask one church member, and she will tell you, “He has a wonderful choir! And they only sing sacred hymns! None of the dribble you hear so often in so many churches today!”

.

Ask another, and he will say, “He’s absolutely flawless in his doctrinal teachings!”

.

Ask still another, “He combines serious topics with humorous witticisms! So enjoyable!”

.

And yet another, “He’s lived an exemplary life!”

.

Okay, so the perfect pastor certainly has a long line of avid supporters, who, by the way, believe just about anything that this pastor teaches! Unquestioned trust and loyalty!

But since we profess to be “Noble Bereans”, should we not take a closer examination of today’s “Perfect Pastors”, to see if their reputation and accolades stand up to God’s Word?

THOMAS BROOKS ON JOKING IN THE PULPIT

.

Now, right out of the gate, let’s explore this pastor’s use of pulpit humor. Yes, let’s examine today’s pulpits in which much joking and jesting are mingled with the seriousness and end-time urgency of God’s Word.

.

Listen to that great Church reformer, Thomas Brooks as he speaks about false teachers in the pulpits…

.

Listen…“They preach more to please the ear than to profit the heart…False teachers handle holy things rather with wit and trifling, rather than with fear and reverence. False teachers are soul-murderers. They are like evil surgeons, that skin over the wound—but never heal it…False teachers are Hell’s greatest enrichers.”

Here are some very scathing words concerning those who think it’s a good thing to keep the congregation laughing. And while God’s people are to be joyful and cheerful as far as possible, Jesus never once engaged in jesting.

.

But especially, considering that we are now living in this frightful hour, in a world on the brink of destruction, why do pastors set their sheep at ease, as well as the general public, by their laxness and frivolity!

(And even though some preachers will claim He once joked about “straining at a gnat, and swallowing a camel”. But the context of that so-called “joke” was in the midst of His very angry tongue-lashing given to the scribes and Pharisees.(see Matthew 23:24))

And what about the so-called “flawless doctrine” of today’s perfect pastor/preacher?

Well, as far as the standards set by the so-called orthodoxy controlling today’s church-world, “flawless” might be the description used by his peers, to describe this perfect pastor’s teachings.

.

And yet, the general consensus of today’s “orthodoxy” is not the true standard we go by.

.

The Bible is the true standard!

.

And this pastor has mingled a number of very false doctrines into his otherwise, true teachings.

ETERNAL TORMENT

.

1: The Babylonian/Catholic doctrine of “Eternal Torment” is the most glaring heresy which this man teaches, not realizing the true nature of Hell, nor the true nature of God.

.

This abomination was a common church-doctrine, invented by ancient Babylonians, and picked up and perpetuated for many centuries by the apostate Church of Europe during the Dark Ages (who, by the way, tormented those who didn’t pay homage to their church).

.

But this heresy was and is retained and taught by the majority of today’s apostate “evangelical” churches.

BABYLONIAN “HOLY-DAYS”

2: Celebrates and encourages the ancient Babylonian/Catholic holydays of Christmas, Easter, and Sunday sacredness, and has polluted the purity of the biblical doctrine of Christ.

FREE-WILL SALVATION

.

3: Teaches the free-will church-doctrine, the “do-it-yourself” Salvation plan, in which “I chose Jesus” instead of “Jesus elected me to Salvation”. This heretical doctrine was popularized by men such as Erasmus, who desired to return to Salvation-by-works taught by his own apostate church-authorities of the day.

This false teacher was raised up by Satan during Martin Luther’s day, to challenge Luther’s earth-shaking biblical teaching of, “Saved-By-Grace-Alone”, which was causing a massive revolt against the dominate and oppressive apostate church of the Dark Ages.

PRE-TRIBULATION “RAPTURE”

4: Teaches two separate returns of Jesus, using the non-biblical title, “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, instead of the God-ordained name for Christ’s one Return, “The Coming of the Lord”. This heretical church-doctrine was popularized such Bible teachers as John Darby in the early 1800’s, and popularized by the likes of Cyrus Scofield, but became wildly popular by the teachings of the little book, “The Late Great Planet Earth” in 1970.

FALSE HERMENEUTIC

5: The False Hermeneutic of The Historical, Grammatical Method of Interpretation.

Here is another totally non-biblical doctrine which most theologians endorse, in spite of not having one shred of biblical support: this heresy forbids the spiritualizing away of types and shadows in Scripture. The end result of this false hermeneutic, is a people who cannot truly hear what God is trying to tell us, because they cannot and will not see the spiritual nature of so much of the Bible, veiled in types, shadows, allegories and parables.

ADDING/DIMINISHING

6: The adding to and diminishing of Scripture

The church-world swears it does not add nor diminishes anything from the Bible. But by reading various articles on this website, this great error is fully exposed. This very clever deception has been foisted upon the naïve church-world by theologians who believed they had to reduce God’s Word down into easily-defined categories. Thus, many of these unbiblical titles are loaded with theologian-contrived doctrines.

REVELATION DIMINISHED

.

8: Has eliminated 19 chapters of Revelation, saying, “it doesn’t concern us…we won’t be around”. Such heretical Bible “teachers” as Cyrus Scofield were, what is commonly referred to as, “Dispensationalists”, and saw various forms of Salvation, depending on the era of the church.

Scofield is perhaps the greatest heretic of all time, causing the Christian world to abandon much of the Bible, even the majority of Revelation, assigning it to the future when the Church will be “Pre-Tribulation raptured away from the earth” before a supposed 7-year tribulation.

END-TIME EXODUS

“And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues”

Revelation 18:4

9: This “Perfect Pastor” will never acknowledge that God is calling His chosen people to “Come out of her, My people”, which refusal will then place this pastor’s flock under the judgment of God in these last moments!

.

Yes, this is the real point to what Satan is doing in these last days to deceive and destroy: to cause humanity to reject God’s current-day end-time message, to “Come out of her (Babylon), My people”.

Having said all these things, it must be reiterated that such pastors as this, teach much truth: enough truth to deceive, “if possible, even the Elect”! But let’s not forget, that Satan is no dummy! He well understands the concept that the best lie is honey-coated with much truth! After all, he invented this concept long ago, when he first began his rebellion against Heaven. 

.

And so, don’t be surprised to realize that Satan has raised up an army of “ministers of righteousness”, even as it is written…“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:14, 15.

And these men are the very popular leaders of today’s Christianity, often with big voices booming over radio, television, and Internet. But beware, O Child of Faith! These erring men have been forewarned about in many Bible verses, such as this…“O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:12

.

FAITHFUL PASTORS

.

This article is in no way meant to demean those faithful pastors, who merely have been living up to the limited light shining on them from Heaven. And just because many pastors teach these unbiblical doctrines does not necessarily indict them as being “wolves-in-sheep’s-clothing”.

.

Hopefully, there are many sincere pastors in today’s Christianity. And yet, these sincere ones have also been deceived by Satan (but not to their damnation). Yes, sincere Bible teachers have been erroneously teaching these wrong doctrines simply because they have been overwhelmed by that great Deceiver-In-Chief, Lucifer, now called Satan, who has secretly brought in these damnable heresies into the Church-world, but now are being taught from nearly every pulpit!

“COME OUT OF HER, MY PEOPLE”

.

The bottom-line to all this is, that God is now calling His people to vacate the fallen churches, with all its erroneous doctrines, and flee to the mountainous spiritual strongholds, even as it is written…“For the day of the LORD…shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty…In that day a man shall cast his idols…to the moles and to the bats; To go…into the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of?” Isaiah 2:12, 20-22 (condensed for brevity’s sake)

.

Yes, it is now the very time in which God is warning His people to flee from the wrath to come, and finding refuge in, “the tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth”. Isaiah 2:21

.
