Daily Devotional, Year 4 – March 1

He That Hath An Ear To Hear,

.

Part 6:

“Strong Delusion!”

“…God shall send them strong delusion,

that they should believe a lie:

That they all might be damned who believed not the truth,

but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

2nd Thessalonians 2:9-12 (Condensed for brevity)

“My pastor is a great Bible teacher…

…Our church is growing and thriving…

…God’s Word is being freely preached each week around here…

…So don’t give me the lie that God is finished with the local congregations!”

But what about this above objection concerning whether or not the true Gospel is still being faithfully preached in today’s congregations?

.

But listen to this prophecy…“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD,

that I will send a famine in the land,

not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water,

but of hearing the words of the LORD…”

Amos 8:11

.

Here is revealed that the time will come when God’s professed people will be cut off from hearing His Word.

HEAR WITH EARS BUT NOT WITH HEART

.

But has that day of spiritual famine finally arrived?

After all, the Bible is still an open Book, or so it seems.

.

But listen to Jesus…“Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My Word.” John 8:43

.

Here Jesus was speaking to those who claimed to love and serve God.

And yet, they could not hear His Word.

Oh yes, they could audibly hear Him.

But they could not comprehend the spiritual truths He was presenting!

“EVER LEARNING, BUT NEVER ABLE TO COME TO…TRUTH”

.

Listen again…“For of this sort are they which creep into houses,

and lead captive silly women laden with sins,

led away with divers lusts,

Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2nd Timothy 3:6, 7

.

Here is described, in allegorical language, that false teachers are leading “silly women” astray.

.

Now of course, this verse must be understood allegorically to make any logical sense.

The silly women spoken of here are actually symbolizing apostate congregations.

And if the Holy Spirit has vacated the churches and denominations, it’s impossible for parishioners to truly comprehend the Bible!

TRUTH NOW MINGLED WITH LIES

.

And let’s not forget that the truths being presently taught in today’s church-world are being mingled with the prosperity-driven gospels!

FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS!

And so, the sad truth is, the churches have been absorbed by the world, and have adopted the ways of the world, to a great degree!

.

And this is why the call is now going out to flee to the mountains of God!

.

And those who flee from these apostate organizations will discover that the Bible and ceaseless prayer will be the place of our refuge, and the hiding place for all those who are escaped from Babylon!

TODAY’S FEATURED HEAVENLY SIGN

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

.

This is by far the faintest of constellations but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways.

.

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.

.

It appears as an outline of a Rider.

Only the back of his head is detailed.

And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.

Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).

The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.

The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.

All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
