Part 15:

“Black Holes In Inner-Space: Romantic Idolatry!”

“Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters,

and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat;

yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread?

and your labour for that which satisfieth not?

hearken diligently unto Me, and eat ye that which is good,

and let your soul delight itself in fatness.

Incline your ear, and come unto Me: hear,

and your soul shall live;

Well, who hasn’t heard of Black Holes in outer space? Just about everybody has!

.

Society is always making mention of Black Holes, telling us that stellar Black Holes are the result of “dying stars”.

.

Yes, the science community has determined that when a star is dying out there in space, it creates a magnetic field which prevents light from shining in that great hole.

.

Of course, the Bible refutes this notion, saying, regarding stars, “not one of them faileth” Isaiah 40:26.

.

And actually, if the science community were to be totally candid, they would confess that because this mysterious phenomenon is so incredibly far-distant, this Black Hole theory is merely a guess.

.

And truth-be-told, opinions which contradict the general consensus within the scientific community are usually not very much welcomed.

“THEIR FOOLISH HEART WAS DARKENED!”

**But on the other hand, maybe-just-maybe there might be such a thing as “black holes”!**

You see, when this human race rebelled against Heaven, it seems as if a void was created in Mankind’s heart.

.

As the Bible reveals… “The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. “Luke 17:20, 21

.

This above passage suggests that when we rebelled against Heaven, and left our first love, Jesus, it created a great vacuum or void in our heart! Perhaps one might call it “a black hole in inner-space”!

“SOME PEOPLE WANT TO FILL THE WORLD WITH SILLY LOVE SONGS”

.

Well, in this sorrowful planet, there is often a real lack of human kindness and compassion!

.

And yet, there exists no shortage of romantic love songs in the world!

.

Yes, turn on the radio to just about any station, and it won’t be long until a love song is played.

.

And well, that’s okay. After all, to love one’s own spouse is a good thing (most people would agree…at least “in principle” they would agree).

.

IDOLIZING HUMANS ABOVE GOD

.

But because of our rebellion against Heaven, Mankind is always searching for a substitute deity to adore, in attempt to fill that empty black hole in our heart. Well, at least, it seems as though all of these things are true.

.

And it also seems as if many lost souls attempt to substitute the God of Heaven with an earthly replacement, such as a human. Just listen to some of those love songs out there… “I will love you always!” “My love for you is greater than the ocean!” “You are the sunlight of my soul!” “Our love will always keep us together…forever!”

.

Yes, humanity wants to turn marital companionship into something much greater: an almost infinite and undying worship of another human!

.

“AS CHRIST LOVED THE CHURCH”

Ephesians 5:25

.

Oh yes, the Bible commands Christians to love their spouse even as Christ loves His church, and has laid down His life for her.

.

But because the human family has rejected their God, that kind of Christlike love is just not possible among unsaved men and women of the world!

.

UNHAPPY MARRIAGES

.

And so, quite often, romance becomes just another form of idolatry, trying to replace love for God with love for a human instead.

.

Hence, we end up with love songs which go completely too far, quite often turning human companionship into an idolatrous worship service!

.

But just look at statistics, and it’s plain to see that such attempts at deifying human love is not working out so well. The divorce rate is pretty high, and unhappy marriages occur at an even higher ratio.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

Proverbs 25:25

.

So what’s the Good News in all this negativity? Simple! God is calling humanity to return to Him, and be filled with Christ’s infinite love for others.

.

No, not romance! But true agape love and a deep sympathy for lost souls.

.

Oh yes, God may bless the Believer to find an earthly spouse. And Christ’s love can be achieved when a man and woman make Christ the head of their household.

.

But many Believers may find that a relationship with Christ is by far, a much more fulfilling and richly rewarding love.

FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created! It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward. But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

.

And these are not merely obscure stars. These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens!

.

**The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .**

.

The Flower of the Field is commonly known as Scorpio .

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group. Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers…

“The wind blows where it desires, and you hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. John 3:8.

So here is another incredible Bible concept, written in the heavens! And God has spoken of these signs! Listen… “For ever, O LORD, Thy Word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89

FLOWER CONSTELLATION BOWS DOWN…

It has become apparent, on this date, that as summer draws to a close, this “Flower of the Field Constellation” appears to bend almost completely down. This occurs as it travels into the western skies. It somehow rotates in order to produce this effect. This is a very wonderful phenomenon…and biblical too! After all, the Bible says “the grass withers and the flower falls away”. And that’s exactly what this flower constellation seems to do. It almost seems to be bowing itself…in the direction of that bright and beautiful star, “Arcturus” (which represents Jesus). This would make sense. After all, Scripture states…

.

“…unto Me (the Lord), every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear… Bel bows down, Nebo stoops… They stoop, they bow down together… Listen to Me… all you remnant of the house of Israel (God’s people)… which are carried from the womb: And even to your old age I am he… even I will carry, and will deliver you.” Isaiah 46″1-4 (condensed)
