“The Mystery Harlot & Captive Angel”

Which alone spreads out the heavens…
Which makes Arcturus, Orion, and Pleiades,
and the chambers of the south.
Which does great things past finding out;
yea, and wonders without number…
Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades?
Or loose the bands of Orion?”

TWO WOMEN IN PLEIADES
.
Just who are these two women? And how can this be, that nobody has ever seen the Pleiades as a constellation of a woman? This devotional will lightly discuss this great paradox of these two women, found in the Pleiades, and what it means scripturally to us: we who comprise the global community of Christians.
.
Because this constellation, or should we say Constellations, plural, have very much to do with us: those of us who are living right now on the threshold of eternity. And as you might expect, the Bible holds the key to understanding all this.

DO THE PLEIADES = GOD’S HOST?
.
“Can you bind the sweet influences of Pleiades. or loose the bands of Orion?… Can you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season?… or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?… Do you know the ordinances of Heaven?” Job 38:31-33
.
So what does the above verse mean, when it says, “Can you bind the sweet influences of the Pleiades?…
.
Listen to this verse from Proverbs… “Stolen waters are sweet… But he knows not that the dead are there; and that her (the Adulterous Woman) guests are in the depths of Hell.” Proverbs 9:17, 18.
.
All through Scripture, the adulterous woman keeps popping up.
.
Actually, there are two women who constantly appear: one being an adulterous Woman and the other is the virtuous Woman. One woman symbolizes the apostate portion of the Church and the other woman, the faithful portion of God’s Church.

PAUL FINALLY REVEALS WHAT THESE TWO WOMEN REPRESENT
.
But let’s stop for a moment, and get further confirmation concerning these two women of Scripture.
.
The Bible makes it abundantly clear that women are quite often a symbol of the Church: and adulterous woman symbolizing the Church-Apostate. And a virtuous woman symbolizing the Church-Faithful. Paul makes the most incredible and bold comparison of Abraham’s wife Sarah and her handmaid, Hagar to the Old and New Covenants!

“Which things (Sarah & Hagar) are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which genders to bondage, which is Hagar. For this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answers to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:24-26

CHURCH-FAITHFUL & CHURCH-UNFAITHFUL
.
This is the great recurring theme in Scripture: two women, a virtuous woman and an adulterous, whorish woman. This above passage from 
Galatians really nails down a great concept, namely this: that Scripture presents literal historical events which God orchestrated, in order to present a spiritual concept.
.
Paul has interpreted the story of Abraham, Sarah and Hagar and their children as a picture of the Church, both the apostate portion and the True Worshippers of God.

BUT WHAT DOES THE DRAGON’S TAIL SYMBOLIZE?
.
The Horse Constellation seems to be glaring at the Pleiades while he’s trampling the lower part of the Dragon’s tail. It’s almost as if the Glorious Horse is trying to rescue the Pleiades.
.
The Pleiades represents the portion of God’s people who have been taken captive by Satan: those who have been deceived by Satan’s lies.
.
Listen to what God states in 2nd Timothy…
.
“And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,
who are taken captive by him at his will.”
2nd Timothy 2:25, 26
.

Listen again to Christ’s rebuke to a lukewarm church…
.
“Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:” Revelation 3:17
.
They may still faithfully attend a local congregation. They may even hold various church offices. They may be respected members of the community. But their hearts have been entangled in worldly pursuits and earthly pleasures. And slowly they have become prisoners of Satan, locked into his Babylonish-counterfeit-Christianity.
.
This Bible truth was brought out in John Bunyan’s amazing allegorical tale, “Pilgrim’s Progress”, in which the pilgrim was shown this “Man in an Iron Cage”, as this above old engraving illustrates.

“COME OUT OF HER MY PEOPLE”
Revelation 18:4
.
The bottom line to all this, is to come out of Babylon. But many are asking the question, “Just how do I come out of Babylon?”
.
Well, the answer to this question is actually very simple. The Bible is the pure Word of Truth. And for those who have been deceived by false teachings and names and doctrines which have been added to God’s Word, we need to make an exodus out of this false system.
.
We must return to Christ and Christ alone.
.
We must reject the false dogmas, such as the teachings that we must be “back-slapping, giddy and worldly” Christians in order to bring others into the Church.

REVELATION 12 DRAGON
.
Now this sketch is also of the Revelation 12 Dragon by itself, but without the other three constellations. And with very careful examination, it becomes apparent that the Pleiades is actually the tip of the Dragon’s tail. The body and tail of the Dragon is wrapped around in an oval shape.
.
So if you find the Dragon’s mouth, and the Pleiades being the tip of the Dragon’s tail, it becomes noticeable that the Dragon has a body and legs much like a crocodile or alligator. As a matter of fact, the main body of this dragon is two-dimensional, unlike most constellations that pagan cultures saw. But to see the body of the Dragon, you really need to be away from city lights.

So first find the mouth and tail-tassel of this dragon, before you attempt to locate the body.
