I AM GUILTY OF THE SAME!
.
There’s a whole lot of finger-pointing going on these days, wouldn’t you agree?
.
Well, today’s devotional is still attempting to further bring out this concept, that at whatever point we judge another, we are guilty of the same.
.
Listen…“Therefore thou art inexcusable,
O man, whosoever thou art that judgest:
for wherein thou judgest another,
thou condemnest thyself;
for thou that judgest doest the same things.”
Romans 2:1
.
Yes, the Bible forewarns us that when we point the accusing finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointing back at us: THREE FINGERS FROM HEAVEN!

The Mockers of the Airwaves
.
For those of us so-called Christians who have foolishly allowed ourselves to become entranced with, and captive to the daily political wranglings, via Television, Internet, and radio…
.
…we have unwittingly allowed this “Prince of the Power of the Air” to fill our hearts with his poisonous venom which he spews out on a 24/7/365 basis! (Ephesians 2:2)
.
But the Bible warns us…“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33
.
Yes, when we allow our soul-temple to be defiled with “evil communications”, it pollutes our heart and mind and impacts our speech and conduct in everyday matters!
.
Thus, our lackadaisical indiscretion results in our unchristlikeness and makes us unable to “Purify [ourselves] even as He (Christ) is pure“, nor to “walk even as He (Jesus) walked” (See 1st John 2:6 & 3:3)
.

SATAN STEALS OUR PERFECT PEACE
.
One great problem with listening to Satan’s whisperings, is that this is how this “Accuser of our brethren” gains access into our hearts and minds (see Revelation 12:10).
.
And once we allow him access, he often begins to torment us with all sorts of “evil surmisings” about the motives of the hearts of others. (1st Timothy 6:4)
.
We must remember the Wise Man’s advice…
…”Keep thy heart with all diligence;
for out of it are the issues of life.
Put away from thee a froward mouth,
and perverse lips put far from thee…”
Proverbs 4:24-27
.
Yes, to guard the avenues to the soul, not allowing Satan any access, is our first and foremost duty!

THREE FACES IN THE MOON
.
You see, God has inscribed three faces in the Moon, and this first face is that of a man (picture right).
.
The other two faces are that of animals: beasts, if you will.
.
And while one of the other two faces is that of a fierce predator, and the other, a forest forager, this 1st face (picture right) is of a very sympathetic-looking human, even just a bit sad, and even just a bit more horror-stricken.

SHOCK AND SADNESS
.
Just look at this Watchman’s sad-looking eyes!
.
And yet with a dropped-jaw expression, he looks rather shocked!
.
But who wouldn’t be shocked, looking down on this tragic and horrible and selfish world!
.
After all, just think of all that this Watchman sees in the night!
.
Murders and beatings, kidnappings and slave-tradings, drugs and alcohol dependencies, inhumanity and indifferent unsympathetic disregard, racism and bigotry, lust and perversions, thefts and hoarding, imprisonment and torture, sickness and suffering, destruction and death!
.
