Well, today’s devotional is still attempting to further bring out this concept that judging others condemns the one who judges!

Yes, the Bible forewarns us that when we point the accusing finger at someone else, there are three fingers pointing back at us: THREE FINGERS FROM HEAVEN!

And one of the main criticisms we hear nowadays is that this or that particular people-group is oppressing that particular people-group!

And with much help from the news-media-goliaths, along with social-media-sites, all this, “You’re oppressing me!” has become a favorite pastime for a rather large swath of people-groups!

And with what they now term as “Identity Politics”, it seems like no matter which way we turn, there’s a whole lot of finger-pointing going on!

The accusers abound these days: person against person, color-group against color-group, political-party against political-party, gender against gender, child against parent, and even nation against nation!

Yes, hatred, mistrust, and finger-pointing are abounding, even as it is written concerning these Last Days…“and because iniquity shall about, the love of many shall wax cold!” (Matthew 24:12)

Yes, we can literally see the daily divide growing wider and love waxing colder between individuals, people-groups, and even between nations!

Well, all this hate-filled victim/oppressor rhetoric is getting so intense, that many people are driven to madness, drugs, and very many are even “checking out” altogether (especially confused/disheartened youngsters)!

And there just doesn’t seem to be any way or anywhere to escape from all this societal insanity! There’s just no safe-haven in the world: a hiding place where brotherly kindness abounds, in which to take refuge from all this pandemonium and societal madness! Or so it seems!

WHO’S THE MOST OPPRESSED?

Now, with all the seemingly countless people-groups in the world, one might wonder just which particular group happens to be the most oppressed.

Certainly, we hear a whole lot of talk about this group or that group being the most oppressed and persecuted.

Maybe some color-group? Maybe some religious group? Maybe the poor of the world? Maybe some political group? Or some gender group? Or some particular nation?

So, just which group qualifies as the most oppressed group?

Oh yes, the Bible does mention the poor as being oppressed by the rich (see James 2:6).

And likewise, it does repeatedly say that Christians have been and will continue to be persecuted and oppressed.

But let’s get right to the point of this article. This website believes that this entire world’s citizenry is the most persecuted and oppressed people-group!

Just think about all the insane lusting going on here! And not just sensual lust or substance abuse! No, there are many who are driven to other insane lusts of various types:

…Rich people driven to lust for more riches…

…Talented and/or outwardly attractive people driven to achieve the spotlight and limelight in some way…
.
…Spouses/parents are often satanically driven to some form of oppression against their spouse and/or their children…
.
…gamesters are often driven to and insatiable lust for more gaming/sports/etc….

…Liars/cheats/scammers are unknowingly and helplessly being driven to even more lying, cheating, and scamming…
.
…politicians are often helplessly caught up in the madness of politics and the insane pursuit of even greater power and authority than they currently possess…

…TV/radio/Internet Bible teachers/evangelists, and self-proclaimed prophets are helpless victims of Satan’s oppressive delusions, lost in spiritual darkness, preaching and teaching false-church-doctrines, “deceiving and being deceived”! (2nd Timothy 3:13)

…Wicked local, state and federal governments allowing deadly drugs which are destroying the lives of millions, casting them into the daily bondage of seeking after more drugs…

…CEOs of the Internet giants are unknowingly goaded on by evil angels, to stamp out anything that looks like Christianity and morality…

…So-called “mentally ill” persons are being used by “the rulers of the darkness of this world” to deceive the human race into believing that so-called “mental illness” is due to some chemical imbalance or childhood trauma, when truth-be-told, they are actually victims of satanic harassment/devil-possession…

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

Yes, this wolf-like beast-face in the Moon, is what the Bible calls a proud Pharisee. They were the morality crowd. They were the finger pointers. They were the scorners. They didn’t realize that their own pride was even more reprehensible to God than the drunkenness, immorality, or sexual perversions of the unsaved of the world.
