THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

In the days of Moses, some 1400 years before Christ, God instructed that great man of faith, to make a portable tabernacle for the children of Israel to take from place to place as they sojourned in the deserts of the wilderness for 40 years.
.
This tabernacle was, of course, for the purpose of performing the animal sacrifices for the sins of the people of God…the Hebrews.
.
Moses was given specific instructions as how to make that tabernacle: “And look that you make them after their pattern, which was showed you in the mount.” Exodus 25:40.
.
The Lord God Himself, showed Moses, while on that fiery mount, just how that elaborate tent was to be constructed, and how it was to be furnished.
.
In the heart of this tabernacle was a room called the Most Holy Place. In it was the Golden Ark of the Covenant (Law). Nobody but the high priest (symbolizing Christ) was allowed in that room. This room was where the once-a-year Atonement for sin was made with the blood of the animal sacrifice (representing Christ’s blood).

Now in this Ark were 3 symbolic items:
.
1. a golden bowl of manna (bread), and
2. the 2 tablets of the Law, and
3. Aaron’s rod that budded with almonds, showing that Aaron (symbolizing Christ) was the chosen high priest.

Now this rod of Aaron was a type of kingly scepter. In other words, it was the forerunner of a king’s scepter which became a common symbol of power in most kingly courts around the world.

THE ARK IN THE HEAVENS
.
So what importance to us is all this information? Well, if a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour, they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation . It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)
.
At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward. But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left. The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible (for instance, “the seven stars are the angels…” Revelation 1:20). To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia, in which the editor of this site has sketched in this Sagittarius Constellation, to show how God created it to appear.

THE ARK, CROSS/SCEPTER & FLOWER OF THE FIELD

“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelation 11:19
.
The below sketch is of the southernmost constellations: The Ark of the Covenant, the Flower of the Field, and the Cross/Scepter Constellations. As you can see in the sketch, the two stars in this Ark of the Covenant Constellation, (on either side of the Ark) do not look like these two angels. This sketch is just an overly generous embellishment of this constellation. This sketch does however, present a view of the Ark, as it might have appeared (somewhat) in Solomon’s temple. This constellation is commonly known as “Sagittarius”. Why the ancients saw this as a centaur (man/horse figure) is a mystery. Maybe someone knows.

TEMPLE IN HEAVEN OPENED
.
But the really big important fact is that this constellation is spoken of in Revelation… “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the Ark of His Testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelation 11:19.
.
This constellation begins to fulfill this prophecy in this above verse. But as you read more and more of Signs Of Heaven, you will see a greater fulfillment of this prophecy. Because not only will the temple be opened in Heaven, but you will receive instructions as to how you may enter by faith into the true temple in Heaven and into the true Most Holy Place where the actual Ark is (the heart of God).

While the above Bible verse was pointing to, and fulfilled in Christ, it nevertheless seems to be also associated with this constellation group. The accompanying sketches show this Cross/Scepter rising and going upward and northward toward the Revelation 12 Woman Constellation. So this constellation group puts a double exclamation mark on that ancient prophecy…

“YEA, THY LAW IS WITHIN MY HEART”
Psalm 40:8…
.
This above Bible verse (“Yea, Thy law is within my heart”), does not specifically mention the Ark. But it does point to the law as being in God’s heart. Couple this with the fact that the actual Ark has the two tablets of the Law contained within. Put these two facts together and one might come to the conclusion that the Ark Constellation, having the law within it, represents the heart of God.

This is further substantiated by the following verse… “And I saw no temple therein in (the New Jerusalem): For the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.” Revelation 21:22.
.
So it is seen here that the temple was a representation of God, Himself. And so the Ark, being the centerpiece of the temple, located in the very heart of the temple, in the Most Holy Place, seems to be a picture of God’s heart, having the Law within it (“Yea, Thy law is within my heart” Psalm 40:8, a Psalm of David: David representing Christ).

THE MOST HOLY PLACE IN MY HEART
.
“My son, keep My words, and lay up My commandments with thee….write them upon the table of thine heart.” Proverbs 7:1-3
.
“Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1st Corinthians 3:16
.
By combining these two above passages, it is discovered a very important truth, which God has somewhat concealed, in Scripture, to a certain extent. And that truth is this: If we are the temple of God, and if God’s Word is to be in our heart, then what can we say about our heart? that it represents the Most Holy Place, and the Ark, where the two tables of stone were kept. This is a profound truth.

Let’s repeat this statement. If we are the temple of God, as Scripture tells us; and if our heart is where God’s law (His Word) is to be stored, then our heart seems to spiritually be an extension of the Most Holy Place (“ye are the temple of God”).

THE HEART: MODERN-DAY HOLY PLACE
.
Again, it must be remembered that God’s people are a royal priesthood… “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood,” 1st Peter 2:9.
.
As priests, God’s people are to join together with Jesus, our High Priest, in prayers, supplications
with thanksgiving. But today there is no physical Temple. But because we are the Temple of God, we can only worship and pray together with Christ in our hearts. In this following passage, Jesus explains that mere brick-n-mortar buildings or sacred cities are not required in order to worship God.

Listen… “…ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe Me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father…God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:20, 21, 24.
.
In this famous story of Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s Well, He plainly declares that true worship is not in some building, or even in Jerusalem. But true worship is in heart. Our heart, when consecrated to God, is the dwelling place for God’s Spirit and His Word of truth. This begins to make sense of the above passage, when it says… “and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

The Spirit and the Truth are to be the ruling forces within the heart of the Believer. And those two elements are the only necessary ingredients for acceptable worship of the Lord. Combine these two ingredients with a humble and trembling heart, and the Believer can enjoy rich communion anywhere he or she pleases.

GUARD THY HEART
.
Now one very important reason that this concept of the Most Holy Place being in the Believer’s heart is such an enormous concept, is because it elevates our responsibility to guard our Most Holy Place, in much the same way that it was sacredly guarded during the era of the tabernacle service.

Our heart must be kept holy. We should be careful to let nothing (as far as possible) into our ear-gates or eye-gates, which will pollute or defile our heart.

Listen to Proverbs… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. Turn not to the right hand nor to the left: remove thy foot from evil.” Proverbs 4:23-27.

GRAFFITI IN MY HEART

“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life” Proverbs 4:23 NLT

Have you ever tried to remove spray-paint from a wall or side of a building? Not too easy! But everyday, we Christians allow Satan to write his own graffiti on the walls of our heart. How? By allowing ourselves to listen to sensual music, or watch unchristian TV, or read exciting novels, buddying around with non-Christian friends, or reading non-Christian magazines, or Internet, or talk-shows, or whatever else the Devil has dreamed up, in hopes of destroying our soul and dominating our thoughts and pre-occupying our life.

And just think about it. If our heart is an extension of the Most Holy Place, then it is akin to taking spray-paint and writing profanities on the walls of the Most Holy Place! And if we are the Priest of our own heart, what will the High Priest Jesus think, when He comes into our Most Holy Place to minister together with us? Just something to think about.

Listen to this statement about Jesus… “For such an high priest (Jesus) became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, SEPARATE FROM SINNERS, and made higher than the heavens;” Though Jesus was often in the company of sinners for evangelistic purposes, yet He did not partake of their worldly companionship.

PRIESTS AND KINGS”
.
“And hast made us unto our God, kings and priests: and we shall reign on the Earth.” Revelation 5:10
.
God has called us to be priests together with Christ. We are to be co-laborers with Christ, pleading for the people. Scripture commands us to… “Pray without ceasing.” 1st Thessalonians 5:17. As a Christian goes about his or her day, they are constantly praying and thanking the Lord, and interceding for others.
.
Peter gave us this great encouragement... “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvellous light” 1st Peter 2:9.
.
In Scripture, the priesthood was a very high and holy calling. It wasn’t to be taken lightly. It was a life and death matter. An unconsecrated priest could actually be struck dead, should he enter into the Holy Place with unrepentant sin.

SAME HOLY CALLING TODAY
.
And so, the thought of today’s Christian should be exactly like the faithful priest of long ago. He must have a trembling heart at God’s holiness. All presumptuousness and flippancy and worldliness must be banished out of the Christian’s heart.

No, the true worshipper will not literally be struck dead. But those who enter into the life of a Christian, will never know the deep spiritual and holy things of God, until they enter into this most solemn priestly office, by faith.
.
“Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool: where is the house that ye build unto Me? and where is the place of My rest? For all those things hath Mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My word.” Isaiah 66:1, 2.

Here God is making it clear what is to be the proper attitude of a True Worshiper. To tremble at God’s Word, and to maintain a humble and contrite heart before God is just as proper for New Testament priests, as it was for Old Testament priests.

THE SOUL, OUR MOST PRIZED POSSESSION
.
“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” Mark 8:36
.
Of all the possessions that a human can have, the soul is by far the most important. And it is remarkable how lightly esteemed the soul is. After all, the people of the world go on our merry way, mostly never even giving a thought for our most valuable possession! The above verse puts the importance of the human soul in proper perspective. “For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” It is more valuable than all the riches this world can offer, as the above verse alludes.

The soul is what makes you, you, and me, me. So if you lose your soul, then there is no more “you”. You simply will no longer exist. Now on the other hand, if you die being a true worshipper, God promises to safely keep your soul. Listen… “Preserve my soul; for I am holy: O Thou my God, save Thy servant that trusteth in Thee.” Psalm 86:2

soul.

Listen… “Observe what the jewel is which he is in care for, ‘The safety of my soul, my darling; let that be redeemed from the power of the grave, Father, into Thy hands I commit that, to be conveyed safely to paradise.’ The psalmist here calls his soul his darling, his only one (so the word is): “My soul is my only one. I have but one soul to take care of, and therefore the greater is my shame if I neglect it and the greater will the loss be if I let it perish. Being my only one, it ought to be my darling, for the eternal welfare of which I ought to be deeply concerned. I do not use my soul as my darling, unless I take care to preserve it from every thing that would hurt it and to provide all necessaries for it, and be entirely tender of its welfare.”

SILENCE IS DEAFENING!

But of course, as far as those of the world are concerned, the soul is just about worthless! On TV or Radio, you might hear a commercial about physical or mental health or some safety issue, every 10 or 15 minutes or so. But do you ever hear an advertisement about the value of a soul? Do the various TV dramas ever deal with the preservation of the soul? No, why would they!?! After all, the “god of this world” wants you to lose your soul! So you’ll never hear his loyal subjects ever obsess over the care and nurture of the soul! And if you ever do, it will probably be done in a mocking or negative manner.

THE REAL BILLIONAIRES!

Those who neglect the care of their soul, are indeed, the poorest of the poor. They will simply wither away and die, and be no more. But on the other hand, those who value, and care and nurture their soul, are among the richest of the rich, though they may be poor in earthly wealth! After all, who would you rather be: a billionaire, who eventually withers away and dies, or a poor person who will live forever?

No, the real billionaires in this world are those who love their own soul, and care for it and nurture it.

Listen… “There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches. The ransom of a man’s life are his riches:” Proverbs 13:7, 8.

Notice it says here that, “the ransom of a man’s life are his riches”. And there’s only one ransom that can give a man eternal life: the ransom that Jesus paid, by giving His own life for ours! And so, this passage leaves little room for debate on the subject of true riches. And yet it is perhaps one of the least regarded of all Bible passages.

“THE VOICE OF ONE CRYING IN THE WILDERNESS”
.
John the Baptist, is perhaps one of the most striking of all Bible characters. And the above Bible passage seems to be the mantra of John’s life (“There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.“).
.
John certainly made himself as poor as one could possibly be in the eyes of the 
world. And yet he was considered as spiritually rich as any other Bible hero.
.
Listen to the assessment of Jesus, concerning John… “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist:” Matthew 11:11.
.
John knew the value of his own soul, and he did not want to contaminate the purity of his soul by the constant contact and intermingling with humanity, with all its debauchery and worldly obsessions. John did what the nation of Israel neglected to do. John took heed to the constant counsel of God, for His people to separate themselves from the contagiousness of evil influences. And God used John as a role-model, as to what heights a human could attain to, by taking heed to these warnings of God.

Listen again… “Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist:” Matthew 11:11.

Yes, because John took heed to God’s warnings to Israel, and separated himself from the great wickedness in Israel, God blessed John above all men on the face of the Earth.

THE BOOK OF HABAKKUK
.
John knew the Scriptures. John had read the Prophet Habakkuk. He understood the great 
message from that ominous Book (As well as other Old Testament books).

Listen… “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4.
.
This was the great message of the Old Testament. This was what all those Old Testament wars were about! And yet only a few among the children of Israel paid any attention to these warnings.
.
Listen to God’s warning… “But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell. Moreover it shall come to pass, that I shall do unto you, as I thought to do unto them.” Numbers 33:55, 56.

This strong warning from God went mostly unheeded. And as we know, the Israelites did not drive out all the heathens from their land, and are still suffering the bitter results today.

GOD LIKEWISE WARNS US TODAY!
.
Now obviously, God is not calling us to go out to the desert, like John. But this warning still goes out to Christians today, to separate from evil influences, as far as possible! And yet, we Christians today allow ourselves to freely mingle with worldly influences, not even caring or realizing, just how contagious sin really is! And because of our disregard of God’s warnings, our Christian nation today will suffer the same results which the nation of Israel suffered. For God still warns us today.

Listen… “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?….Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” 2nd Corinthians 6:14, 17, 18.
.
This New Testament warning has a promise attached: if we will separate, God will become our Father, and we will be His sons and daughters! But if we do not separate, will God still be a Father to us? So this passage from 2nd Corinthians has a blessing attached to it, but also an implied curse. If we want God to be a Father to us, then we must separate.
.
And while we are commanded to go preach the Gospel to every creature, we are nevertheless warned not to be yoking up together with unbelievers in secular friendships. As already said, sin is very contagious. And our secular friendships won’t convert anyone to Christ, but will almost certainly convert us to the world!

THE CROWN AND THE CROSS/SCEPTER…
.
.
The Revelation 12 Woman Constellation is seen reaching out her hand. At first it seems she is just in labor pains. But as we back up, we see that there is a Crown of 12 Stars and a Cross/Scepter, just out of her grasp. And so it now appears that this woman with child is reaching for either the Crown or the Cross/Scepter. Both of these possibilities have tremendous Biblical implications. (She also appears to be possibly grasping for that great star, Arcturus, which represents “Christ”).

CHURCH-APOSTATE HAS NO SCEPTER
.
“And fire is gone out of a rod of her (God’s people) branches, which hath devoured her fruit, so that she has no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule.” Ezekiel 19;14. This verse is referring to the apostate portion of Israel. God was rebuking Israel, saying that they had lost their connection with God because of their sins… “she has no strong rod to be a sceptre to rule.”
. 
“But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of Thy kingdom.” Hebrews 1:8.
.
Notice this verse speaks of God’s Scepter as a “scepter of righteousness”. But those who are at ease in Zion have little desire for these spiritual attainments. They are as Esau… “who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.” Hebrews 12:16.
.
It is only those “Jacobs” in God’s house who will reach for the scepter and crown. The “Esau’s” in the Church are too busy in the field, hunting for earthly meat, to be bothered by spiritual things. Oh they may faithfully attend a congregation. But their heart, like Esau, is in the world. They can’t wait to get back to their careers, amusements, and affections.

HOW DO I BECOME HOLY?
.
Isn’t it true today, that most of us are feeling quite UN-holy right now. And there are some who claim holiness, but by their lawless lifestyle, actually make a mockery of the word “holy”. And isn’t it also true, that today’s Christianity is filled with vain trifling and giddiness, with joking and sporting among God’s people.
.
And didn’t Habakkuk hit the nail squarely, concerning this generation, when he said… “Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.” Habakkuk 1:4?
.
Christians today are overwhelmed by ungodly foolish talk and amusements, and all the common triteness and vainness (spiritually useless), both in and out of Church. We are not a holy people to a great degree! But many of God’s people would like to be.
.
Listen… “Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness” 2nd Peter 3:11.
.
This exhortation by Peter is perhaps, one of the most slighted verses in the Bible. And yet, many of us worldly ones know that we fall way short of the mark, but we’re puzzled as to what to do about it.
.
But still the question remains to be answered… “How can I be holy?”

PRACTICAL EVERYDAY HOLY LIVING
.
(IMMERSING ONE’S SELF IN HOLY THINGS)
.
A good place to start is for a Christian to begin immersing his or her self in holy things. A Christian cannot expect to become miraculously holy, while still eating out of the “Pig’s Trough”, so to speak. In other words, just as “Bad company corrupts good character” 1st Corinthians 15:33, so also good company encourages good character.

The Christian priest should begin to surround himself with holy influences. For instance, instead of watching less-than-holy people on TV, he should replace that with, say, a recorder and earphone, and an audio version of the Bible.

Instead of listening to sensual “Christian” music, try listening to choral music instead (You never know: that choral music just might elevate your thoughts to a higher degree!)
.
Instead of worldly hobbies, maybe try taking up The Signs Of Heaven as a hobby, by finding these heavenly signs in the night sky. Or take up hiking or daily walks in order to get closer to God through prayer.

Instead of eating junk food, try eating similar to how Christ ate.
.
Instead of worldly communications, seek out those who are holy in conversation. Before long, you may find that your behavior begins to become much more reverent. “He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” Proverbs 13:20. Could God have made it any plainer than this statement?

DAY & NIGHT
.
Psalm 1 gives the formula for the successful Christian life. And one of the aspects found in that Psalm, is to meditate upon God’s Law (the Bible) day and night (“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.”).

This is not a suggestion. This is a command! From God! And the Christian should order his or her life in such a way, so as to allow this command to become a reality.

“AARON’S ROD THAT BUDDED”…

“And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods. And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness. And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds. ” Numbers 17:6-8

Here we see that Aaron’s rod that budded symbolized that God put His divine approval on Aaron’s authority to be high priest. So too, the righteousness of Christ is His scepter of authority. Likewise, the Cross is a symbol of Christ’s authority. The Cross is the symbol of Christ’s righteousness…

Of course, as already stated, the Cross/Scepter, coming out of the Ark Constellation is a heavenly symbol of this Biblical concept. And as Summer progresses, this Ark appears to tip over as if spilling out its contents.

Now if all these things are not amazing enough, this is not the end of the story. You see, when these constellations are seen in the early part of summer, the Ark is somewhat tipped. This reminds us of that well-known story about when the Ark was being brought back to the Jews. The cart on which the Ark sat shook, and it looked as if the Ark was going to fall over. But a man named Uzzah grabbed hold of the Ark to steady the Ark, in a humanitarian effort. But God was displeased with Uzzah for presumptuously touching this sacred symbol by his own human strength. And so God struck Uzzah dead. (See 2nd Samuel, Ch. 6).

ARK CONSTELLATION TIPS
.
So here’s the amazing phenomenon about this Ark Constellation. You see, as summer progresses, the axis of the Earth changes, so as to make it appear that this Ark tips more and more. This seems to present a most incredible concept: that God is now willing to pour out His own heart to Mankind. And along with that, God is willing to pour out His abundant treasures to anyone willing to receive His spiritual treasures: His great Love, His Spirit, His goodness, patience, wisdom and knowledge.

Listen… “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions…And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.” Joel 2:28, 30.

Notice that in connection with the Day of the Lord, God says He will pour out His Spirit upon all flesh. But also He says that He will show wonders in the heavens. And of course, one of those wonders in the heavens is this Ark, pouring out its blessed contents. Think about it. But if you are in very good star-watching conditions, you can see a cloudy pillar of stars rising up out of this Ark!

THE BOOK OF JOEL NOW FULFILLED!

Just listen to this prophecy from that fiery Book of Joel… “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My spirit upon all flesh…And I will show wonders in the heavens…The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come. And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered” Joel 2:28, 30, 31.

NOT A TIME TO DILLY-DALLY

Yes, the Book of Joel is now being fulfilled. If ever there was a time for God’s people to sit back and enjoy the world, it is NOT NOW! Rather, it is now high time, as Joel says… “Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet. Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” Joel 2:16, 17.

Notice that this passage says exactly what this article has been saying: that we New Testament priests must prepare ourselves to go into God’s temple and plead for God’s people to be spared.

WHAT TEMPLE-SERVICE IN JOEL?

Notice this Book of Joel has to do with the end-times, and yet is concerned with the temple service. Well, the temple service has been done away with in Christ. It will never again be revived in symbolic type, but is now fulfilled in Christ! That is, Christ is our temple. He is our sacrifice. He is our High Priest. He is that Ark. He is the Holy and Most Holy Place. He is the Altar… “Christ is all, and in all” Colossians 3:11.

PRIESTS WITH JESUS

But we New Testament Believers are joint heirs with Christ, and as co-priests, we nevertheless must heed these fiery words of Joel, and by faith enter into this most solemn priestly work… “Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?” Joel 2:17.

WE ARE TO CRY OUT

Are you tired of having yourself and your family ruled over by unbelievers, out in society? Well then, the remedy for this is found in this above verse.

DO YOU KNOW THE ORDINANCES OF HEAVEN?

“Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said…Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons? Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?” Job 38:1, 31-33

This Summer Constellation group is known as “Can You Guide Arcturus With His Sons” Job 38:32. Do you remember the story of Job? God allowed the Devil to afflict Job with poverty, sickness and the d
eath of Job’s ten children. After many months of this affliction, God spoke to Job. God asked Job some very cryptic questions.

The man, Job, probably didn’t understand fully what God was speaking of, when He asked Job this question… “Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said…Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion? JUDGMENT DAY
.
These Signs Of Heaven are indeed the “ordinances of Heaven”, it seems. God asked Job… “Knowest thou the ordinances of heaven?” Job 38:33. Of course, Job didn’t understand these things.

But God is just now revealing them to us, who are just now standing at the very end of all things… “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” 2nd Peter 3:10.
.
This verse declares that the Earth and the works therein shall be burned up. And as we look out upon this topsy-turvy world today, the undeniable signs are all present declaring that we are standing at the very threshold of the great day, known as The Day of the Lord.

THE SIGNS OF HEAVEN

“And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed Him.” Luke 5:11

So now this Ark Constellation and the Cross/Scepter Constellation are two of the constellations which make up this Constellation group known as “Arcturus with His Sons”. Along with all the rest of the constellations in this website, God is revealing what He spoke of in the Gospel of Luke… “And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars” Luke 21:25

Nevertheless, God is just now revealing these heavenly signs, to show us His great love for this fallen world. And this constellation group is a call; a call to you…and a call to me… “Come follow Me, and I will make you Fishers of Mankind”, says Jesus.

What have we got to lose by becoming a Follower of Jesus? A dying planet? A world where so little love exists? A grave with my name on the tombstone (and a grave with yours too)?

FIRST FIND ORION & 7 STARS

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Chur
ch (7 Stars).

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
.
These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

ANOTHER HEAVENLY HOBBY: PRAYER-WALKS

Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…

Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!

It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!

(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.

And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.

Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)

THRICE-DAILY PRAYERS
.
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.

But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
