THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).

The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Now those religious groups which are classified as “Christian cults” all seem to have fiery zeal to be distinctly different and separate from the other churches.

And so, because of their peculiar doctrinal beliefs, these so-called Christian cults all seem to draw the ire-n-rankling of the so-called “mainstream” Christian denominations.
.
Yes, these cults seem to be a veritable “lightning rod” for criticism, scorn, and mockery, from those who consider themselves to be “The Orthodoxy”.
But because the so-called “orthodox” denominations have their own particular heresies, Satan has used this as an opportunity to give those cults some actual biblical truths which mainstream Christianity has long-ago discarded.

Yes, mainstream Christianity has embraced some very old church-doctrines which have no biblical foundation, thus making them just as apostate as the so-called “cults” which they look down upon and scorn!
.
Such false unbiblical doctrines…
…such as “Eternal Torment”…
…”The Age of Accountability”…
…”Christmas”…
…”Easter”…
…”The Deity of Mary”…
…giving the Godhead the non-biblical title, “The Trinity”…
…the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”…
…”Free-Will Salvation”…
…the “Prosperity-Driven gospel”…
…”lying signs and wonders”…
.
…as well as other false doctrines, make the so-called “orthodox” denominations extremely toxic.
And so, Satan has used these false doctrines to his own advantage by causing the cults to reject those false teachings now embraced by mainstream Christianity.

And so, the cults point out mainstream Christianity’s heresies to their prospective new members, thus giving these cults an added element of truth, and enough credibility to convince those naïve prospective new members to join that “cult”.
And so, this master-deceiver, Satan, has ingeniously caused this doctrinal, “switcheroo”, between both these two major divisions in Christendom, creating a very confusing situation in both groups.

And beside the confusion, this switching around of doctrines gives impetus to both groups, as already just discussed in the above paragraphs.
Yes, the apostasy within the various denominations and organizations has reached the point of no-return.

All groups, both the so-called “orthodoxy”, as well as the so-called “cults” are so steeped in error and stiff-necked pride, that neither of the two groups will ever repent of their gross errors.

And so, God is now calling out to anyone who still has an ear to hear…
And God has made all necessary provisions for all those who do escape from Babylon, fleeing to the spiritual mountainous strongholds of God…
“And there shall be upon every high mountain,
and upon every high hill,
rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter,
when the towers fall.”
Isaiah 30:25.

Yes, there are abundant rivers and streams of living waters flowing upon those high mountains and hills!

And heaven manna too!

And God’s blessings have finally been taken away from the fallen towers (congregations and denominations) and are now transferred to the heavenly places of refuge, where God’s people must flee!

In January 20th’s devotional (click here), it was put forth that today’s churches have devolved into little more than social, fraternal organizations, with a thin covering of religiosity.

And the reader is encouraged to read Part 2 as a means of making this Part 3 more meaningful.
But the question that today’s devotional asks is this: “Are we to continue in church attendance, merely for the sake of providing our children with a more acceptable social environment?”
In other words, many caring parents are rightfully concerned with the current downward death-spiral of societal morality, combined with the meteoric rise of paganism, lawlessness, and sexual perversions which are now overspreading the land.
And so, most concerned parents do not want to come out of the apostate churches, fearing that their children will have no acceptable alternative environment to thrive in.
.
After all, there is still a certain degree of morality within many churches, even though many other “liberal” churches are, for the most part, aligning themselves with this ungodly society.
Listen to 2nd Timothy 3:1, 2, 5,6 describing the condition of the world, but also of the apostate church-world in these last days…
…”This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses,
and lead captive silly women laden with sins,
led away with divers lusts“

Now this is just a shortened version of the entire passage.

But the point of Paul’s admonition here was, that in these last days there will be perilous times in the world, but also in the churches (symbolized by the phrase, “silly women” 2nd Timothy 3:6)
ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth!”

Wickedness will abound in the form of ungodly behavior, such as covetousness, slander, sexual promiscuity, disobedient youths, etc., and…“a form of godliness” void of the Spirit of God.
And so, week after week, month after month, and year after year, parishioners fill the pews for an hour or two of listening to moral, marital, and social-justice sermons.

But never do they arrive at the point of becoming “Born Again”.
.
Never do they realize that becoming truly Born Again is a total metamorphosis, receiving a new heart, new motivations, new desires, and completely new goals!
.
Yes, being Born Again means to be under the control of a completely different Spirit than that spirit which controls the people of this Antichrist world!
.
Nor can they come to the point of becoming a true disciple of Jesus!
And why is this? Why is it that most parishioners cannot even come to the point of becoming true disciples of Jesus?
.
Because it’s just as Jesus says in Luke 14:33…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.”
.
The sad truth is, that most parishioners today have never even become true disciples of Jesus, still clinging to this present selfish world, with its various treasures, and pleasures, and carnal desires!

The Bible is a book that has many things to say, some happy and some sad.

For instance, the Book of Psalms has, roughly, about one-third happy things, one-third unhappy, and one-third neutral.

Even the New Testament is likewise filled with both happy and unhappy truths.
There are many microphones both on radio, as well as TV that will actually ridicule and badger all those Christians who trust that the Lord is in control of the goings on around the world, saying…
…”All you lazy Christians who just sit on your duffs,
are going to suffer the wrath of God for your lack of concern
The Bible is literally teeming with true historical accounts that should inspire confidence among Christians, that God is intimately involved in the affairs of life, both small and great!

Story after story in the Bible have one thing in common: that God is always working behind the scenes to accomplish His will among the inhabitants of earth!
.
Or, He may just decide to be up-front about things, like this great drawing of Moses, breaking the two table of stones!
Yes, God has given us our commission to purify our hearts and minds, and to transform our lives into His likeness!
.
In this way, our life will become a living epistle, known and read by all!
.
And by constantly beholding Christ as in a glass (a mirror), we will be changed, little-by-little, day-by-day, into His glorious image! (please carefully study 2nd Corinthians Chapter 3)

This transformation process is our great commission!

And this is a full-time occupation, leaving us no time for wringing our hands about the state of affairs of this world!
And yet, many Christians are skeptical against the idea that the day has truly come, in which the itching ears gospels have taken over the church-world.

Oh, they are aware that “those liberal churches over there” have become apostate.

But they just cannot believe that “My little conservative church here has also fallen from grace!?! NO!”

THE UPWARD PATHWAY OF PEACE & JOY!

Oh, Jesus only wishes for us to sit down and begin reading (and/or listening) and learning about Him and taking His easy yoke of service upon us.

And by so-doing, we will ultimately find that joy, peace, and contentment which we have so greatly desired, yet could never achieve by our own strength!

But to learn of Him! That, my friend, is the upward pathway to peace and joy, now and forevermore!

By a simple reading of the New Testament, it is soon discovered that Jesus Christ, the very Author of Life, mostly spoke in parables!
.
Yes, Jesus, the greatest of all beings, and the greatest of all teachers, quite often taught spiritual lessons by use of types, shadows, symbols and allegories!
.
Thus, this one and only true Master of Divinity was constantly presenting spiritual truths through the many object-lessons found throughout nature!
For instance, John Bunyan, the author of “Pilgrim’s Progress” and “Grace Abounding To The Chief of Sinners”…
.
…he observed that both “clean” and “unclean” animals declared the glory of God by means of their distinct characteristics.
.
And so, he once observed that some clean animals, such as chickens and doves bob their heads forward when they walk, as a means of propelling themselves in a straight-forward direction.
.
And then Bunyan compared this to the Holy Spirit who propels Christians in a straightforward direction towards Heaven…
And Bunyan also observed that swine have split hoofs, symbolizing the parting ways from this world of sin.
.
And yet, that swine will continue to eat just about any and every piece of trash it possibly can!
.
And so (according to Bunyan), this seemed to symbolize those in the Church who claim to be circumcised-in-heart, and yet continue to consume all the filthiness and pollutions of this, the Devil’s world!
.
Yes, Bunyan observed that many self-professed Christians have the ability to, “drink down sin like water”.
.
Thus, Bunyan compared these hypocritical false brethren to swine!
.
They profess to love God, but their licentiousness only proves that their real love is for this, Lucifer’s sinful and selfish antichrist world-system!
And so, even though we are not to be “unequally yoked together with unbelievers” in the sense of personal relationships, yet we are commanded to share the Gospel with the unsaved of the world.
.
And so, please DO eat your pork in the spiritual sense, as God commanded Peter, by lovingly sharing the Gospel with the starving souls in this sad and hopeless and spiritually unclean world!
“Dear Lord, Help me to see the spiritual nature of Thy Word. Give me the wonderful gift of seeing the Gospel as God has written the Gospel throughout nature…
Yes, God’s very own people were dissatisfied with God’s Word because of its often-harsh sayings.

They only wanted a smoothly varnished, non-judgmental gospel, which allowed them to still pursue the selfish pleasures, riches, and proud ambitious attainments of this life!
“…by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple”

Now on the other hand, Satan is like that proverbial sinister-stranger offering candy to a naïve little child.

That is, this diabolical soul-murderer likes to hold out his own version of candy to gullible people…

…those who naïvely imagine the world to be filled with many, “good, upright, and moral people”!

Yes, we’re so easily deceived, all because there exists an outward façade of morality and good works in this, his very evil and deceptive antichrist kingdom.

After all, it’s amazing how easily he deceives us by merely putting an outward veneer of good works and nice things on all the evil and sorrow and suffering of this tragic world!

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns,

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7 and 10 numbering.
.
And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
In the mid-Twentieth Century, there were certain people whom Satan, “The Prince of the Power of the Air”, used to bring Christian music into the current fashions of that day.

These certain men (and women) were musically gifted, and already somewhat successful in the secular music world.

And because they had no difficulty crossing back-and-forth between the secular music world and the religious community…

…those “spiritual hybrids” had absolutely no problem mingling those two worlds together in their music!
Now heretofore, much of the music in the Church was still mostly sacred.

And this new music was not at first, totally accepted.

But these “new” musicians were totally dedicated to bringing Christian music “up-to-date”!

Well, as a result, much or perhaps most of today’s music is now a blend of quasi-Christian lyrics and earthy/sensual music.

HOLLYWOOD: FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN

Now of course, since that time, Hollywood had also jumped into the fray!

Yes, the movie industry has now churned out a number of movies which encouraged churches to throw off their traditional sacredness and reverence!

And these movies all happily conclude with those formerly “fuddy-duddy” old churches finally getting themselves an up-to-date, fashionable “make-over”.
And so today, the Book of Jeremiah, and other similar Bible accounts, are all finding their fulfillment in the current-day church-world.
.
Yes, Satan has successfully bridged the gap between the secular world and the Christian world, via this new, hybrid “Christian” music.
.
And the churches are filled with parishioners who vainly attempt to straddle between Heaven and Earth.
.
And yet, such a compromised life can never gain God’s approval, but instead, has resulted in God’s Spirit being “taken from the midst” of this apostasy. 2nd Thessalonians 2:7
.
And this is the sad, apostate condition of today’s church-world.

Well, if there is any Good News in this very tragic report, it is that God is now calling His people out of this apostasy…

And though such a dreadful judgment upon the churches makes us very sad, we must obey God’s command to “Come out of her (Harlot Babylon), My people”.

Yes, God has provided abundant living waters in the spiritual strongholds to which we must flee.

Well, actually, this is one of the more easily deciphered clues as to just what or who this mystery harlot city is speaking of.

If we simply follow the biblical rule of interpretation, comparing “spiritual things with spiritual”, and “line upon line”, we find a verse in Jeremiah that explains what this cage is really all about.
Now there are those who will object, saying, “Oh, there may be some apostate churches. But not my church! We are still faithful!”

Nevertheless, it gives us an excellent basic blueprint for how the Book of Revelation must be interpreted.

Yes, by using the Bible and only the Bible, a Bible student can compare “spiritual things with spiritual”, adding “line upon line and precept upon precept”…

…and finally arrive at the true meaning of the many allegories and symbols found throughout Scripture.
From this passage, we see that Mystery Babylon, a spiritual city, comprised of all the apostate Christian organizations which have persecuted God’s true Church through the ages
And yet, in spite of her destruction coming in one hour, the smoke of her burning, “ascends up for ever and ever”.

The problem is that those who are held in bondage within the apostate Churchjust cannot understand the deeper, allegorical truths, which God has locked up from their understanding.

And now, some school children are even claiming to be animals, such as cats, and their teachers are required to facilitate and encourage such insane fantasies.

Yes, when the persecution of God’s faithful remnant ceased after the Dark Ages, Satan instead began to embrace the Church, causing us to lay down our spiritual armor and “join in the fun with our newly-acquired ‘friend’, the world”!

Oh yes, those European printing presses began churning out Bibles by the thousands.

And as a result, the apostate churches of Europe could no longer keep the great masses in spiritual ignorance.

At last, Christianity had triumphed over the Antichrist Beast of Revelation 13: that evil Beast-system which persecuted anyone who loved the Bible for so many centuries!

But alas, that deadly wound was slowly healed.

Yes, the Enemy-of-Souls has successfully diverted many, or perhaps most Christians from Bible study/contemplation, prayer, and other holy duties, which were once a weekly requirement on each and every Sunday.

(btw, this article is not endorsing the so-called, “Sunday Sabbath”. It is merely pointing out that it has devolved into little more than a morning to attend church followed by a rapid return to worldly pursuits.)
There is an abundance of so-called Christian television today, and churchgoers quite often keep some religious channel on 24/7 in their living room or bedroom.

One of the problems which stem from such a habit is that, for the most part, only “spiritual pabulum” is served up through the day.
.
Consequently, many viewers get only milk and seldom any strong meat from these shows.
The big problem with less expensive religious radio, is that much of the teachings tend to interpret the Bible as literal as possible.
.
They think that allegorizing is foolishness, unless absolutely necessary.
.
And so, for instance, when attempting to interpret the Book of Revelation, they cannot see nor understand most of the spiritual, allegorical nature of that prophetic Book.
.
Well, there are other problems with religious radio, such as preaching many false church-doctrines, such as “Eternal Torment” and the so-called “Pre-Trib Rapture”.
Now, the very Good News (and also very sad), is that God is currently calling out His people from the Harlot Babylon churches…

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).
.
It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
.
But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.

Well, don’t feel bad! Most of us don’t know them either!

The fact is, the medical community has determined just what are the M.D.R. (Minimum Daily Requirements) and this has all been done as a result of the invention of vitamin pills!

Yes, the vitamin pill industry has supposedly developed all the pills necessary for our good health, as long as we take our Minimum Daily Requirements.
Of course, if a person is desiring to obtain maximum health, then common sense dictates a more, “wholistic” approach.
.
And what is the “wholistic” approach, you ask?
.
Simply put, daily exercise, proper healthy diet, pure water, ample sunlight, fresh air, proper rest, self-control, and whatever else may be beneficial for optimal health.
.
But the problem with this wholistic approach to health is, most people would rather just take a few pills: Minimum Daily Requirements!
But even today, there are so many confessing/professing Christians so lacking in hunger and thirst for the soul-saving words of life?
.
Jesus said in His infamous Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6
“he (the rich, young ruler) went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.”
Matthew 19:22
.
Jesus said regarding that rich young ruler…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My Disciple.” Luke 14:33
.
That young man would rather remain just a part-timer.
.
This way, he could still hold fast to his earthly passions and pursuits, and have Jesus too!

Notice how the right front hoof is trampling on the tail of the Dragon.

Also notice his eye is a star.

It’s best seen when in the western half of the sky.

It is found in mid-sky traveling from east to west.

In January, it is in the west after midnight.

As winter progresses, it can be seen earlier and earlier in the evening. a dark sky with good star-visibility is best, but not absolutely necessary to see this constellation.

And as already stated, this Goodly Horse Constellation can be seen best in mid-winter when it is in the western side of the sky, and you are looking at it while you are facing west.

One way that this modern-day phenomenon manifests itself is in how younger parents ignore the sage advice of grandparents in how to raise their children.

What the young parents do not take into account, is that grandparents, Christian grandparents, have seen many things in their longer life: things that young parents just do not realize!
One very important thing to remember is that when children are very young, they have not yet come into maturity…
.
…they have not yet reached the years in which the seeds sown in their hearts have come to fruition.
.
And so, when they are still very young, the children are mostly still easy to manage.
.
They do not yet display many character traits that will eventually be fully displayed by the time they finally reach their pre-adult years.
.
And so, it is quite often extremely difficult to give good advice to young parents, since they have not yet seen the fruit of their labors with their children.
And so, young parents will frequently set their children in front of that old standby babysitter, the television (and Internet)…
.

FOOLISHNESS BOUND UP IN CHILDREN’S HEARTS

“Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child;
but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”

And if this isn’t bad enough, the foolishness which is so often prevalent in many so-called, “innocent” shows for young children, keep many children from maturing properly.

And as we look around at society, it’s not hard to see that a great percentage of young people have not properly matured.
But these dangers are not usually yet noticeable in little children!
But just wait until they reach their teenage years!

And then those seeds which we have sown in our children during the formative years will eventually yield an abundant harvest when they finally reach their pre-adulthood years!
“Mine eyes do fail with tears…for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.”
Lamentations 2:11

This above verse from Lamentations is a lament by Jeremiah because of Satan’s destruction of the Church, both Old Testament and New.

And God exhibits His sorrow through Jeremiah’s tears because of the lack of Biblical instruction among Children, symbolized by their “swooning in the streets” from lack of heavenly instruction.

And today, far too many parents are so invested in the pursuit of earthly pleasures and prosperity…

…that children are often left to themselves, to be largely educated by secularist programs and atheistic schools.

In this above passage, the Lord is foretelling of a day when the churches will no longer tolerate the Bible in its entirety.

And there are many today who believe that we have come to that very time, in which many attendees of most all churches demand some form of an “itching ears” gospel.
Now, back in the 1960’s, a very popular movie was introduced, called “Pollyanna”.
.
And in that movie, a young girl came to live with her very harsh and judgmental aunt.
.
And that young girl, Pollyanna, had discovered 800 totally non-offensive Bible verses!
.
And so, the movie tension centered on Pollyanna’s, “cotton-candy-soft”, 800-verse, judgment-free gospel, against the fire-n-brimstone preaching that her aunt was pushing.
Yes, Satan is waging much of his war on Christianity, via the television and movie industry.
.
And such movies as this have made pastors and churches deathly afraid of being seen as too harsh and judgmental (especially in this extremely morally-permissive society!).
And let’s face it! There is some validity to all this, considering, in decades past, many evangelists and preachers had taken to shouting, finger-pointing, condemning, and threatening their audiences with eternal torment!

This was not the way of Jesus, nor was it the way of the disciples, nor of Paul!
.
Listen…“The words of wise men are heard in quiet more
than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.”
Ecclesiastes 9:17
.
Yes, our God is a quiet God. He’s definitely not an “in your face” God!
.
Very rarely did He lift up His voice and shout!
.
And so, those preachers who become loud and overbearing only prove that they do not correctly understand God’s character!
But the Good News (but very sad as well!) is that God is calling His people to come out of the Babylonish confusion which exists in this world…
.
Listen…“And I heard another voice from heaven,
saying, Come out of her (Babylon), My people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Revelation 18:4
.
And for those who are willing to accept the Bible, all the Bible, and not just the “nice passages”, they will find a wonderful fellowship with the Lord…

…as they joyfully become followers of Jesus, as He leads us up and out of this hopeless and dying planet…
The Bible also speaks of other signs in the sun, moon, and stars.

…”When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:”

Here is veiled allegorical language, which counsels Christians to flee out of the various religious organizations which make up the apostate portion of the Church, which God has named, “Mystery Babylon”.
And so, in the very day in which God tells us to “FLEE!”, the various denominations are saying just the opposite!

One great reason why so many churchgoers desire to stay in their church is because churchgoing makes up the greater sum-total of their relationship with God!

In other words, all through the week, the apostate Christian is focused on pursuing as much of this selfish world as possible!

Christ is not in all our thoughts during the week.

WHAT GOOD IS ECUMENISM?

Well, this is the sad condition of most of those who make up the various denominations of today.

And so, what possible good could it do, for all these to join hands together and sing the proverbial ecumenical anthem, “Kumbaya”?

And so, with these horrible descriptions, it is small wonder that those Christians who are attempting to blow the trumpet of alarm, may indeed come off as being very negative!

And today’s softly appareled Christian community is not accustomed to hearing such harsh negativity.

We demand “smooth things”! Isaiah 30:10

But this is not a time for smooth sermons, joking and jesting preachers, and sensual crooners!

No, it is finally time for God to arise and let the citizenry of this rebellious world hear just what He thinks about us.

After all, He has been seemingly silent about His true feelings for so many centuries.

In the 6th Chapter of the Book of John is a little account of the night when the Disciples of Jesus were in a little ship by themselves, on the dark stormy waters.
.
And a strong wind blew, causing the sea to arise. And it was dark.
.
But as they rowed, “they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid.” John 6:19
.
But Jesus said unto them, “It is I; be not afraid. Then they willingly received Him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.” John 6:20, 21
And just like those disciples in that ship, the Church-Elect will go through the great storm just ahead of us, called, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble.” (Many are going through this time right now suffering fiery personal tribulation).
.
And through the coming months, as our situation in the world gets more horrific, God’s people will pray and beg and plead with God for deliverance!
.
And the Devil will be constantly pouncing on each of us, reminding us of our past sins, and of our present un-Christlike characters.
.
Oh yes, we have been striving to become Christlike.
.
But just like those disciples in that ship, it seems as if we are rowing against the wind!
We recall, during the Dark Ages of old, that the people of God faced cruel torture of various kinds.
.
Well, nowadays, Satan will come at God’s people with torture devices that make “The Rack”, “The Wheel”, and “The Stake” look like child’s play!
.
But now, with all the modern-day drugs and high-tech devices, Satan can accomplish everything he desires, with, “no fuss and no muss”, as that old saying goes!
And as our conflict continues, it will eventually seem as if each Believer is the only one left in the earth!
.
At this point in time, we will say along with discouraged Elijah… “(O Lord, They have) slain Thy prophets with the sword; and I, even I only, am left; and they seek my life, to take it away.” 1st Kings 19:10.
.
Yes, just as poor weary & discouraged Elijah was pursued by wicked Queen Jezebel and her armies, so also, God’s faithful remnant will be pursued by the world and by the worldly Church!
As our conflict continues, things will become so tumultuous that it will seem as if we mount up to the heavens and then are thrust back down into the very depths of Hell!
.
And we will “reel to-and-fro, and stagger like a drunken man!” Psalm 107:27
.
The world, along with Satan’s evil angels, will seem to hedge us in on every side.
.
But we will wrestle daily in prayer for God’s mercy and providence to help us remain ever-faithful to God’s Word, even as Jacob wrestled through the night with that Stranger!
.
We will struggle under the Tempter’s cruel attacks, to not let go our “shield of faith”! Ephesians 7:14, 17
.
Hence the name of this conflict, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble!” Jeremiah 30:7
And it will be only by our remembrance of the many “exceeding great and precious promises” of God’s Word, that we will walk through the midst of Satan’s deadly snares! (2nd Peter 1:4)
.
In a very real sense, it will almost seem like one of those video games in which we must hop over one deep pit after another, so as to not fall in!
.
Yes, they will be able to walk the narrow pathway through the foreboding jungle of terrors, with deadly snares on every side…“by the word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.” Psalm 17:4
And as the dark stormy night continues, and we will seemingly descend down deeper and deeper into Hell, it will appear as though God has all but abandoned us!
.
There doesn’t seem to be any release!
.
No deliverance!
.
Our prayers will get feeble, and yet we don’t give up, nor do we give in to Satan’s fierce temptations!
.
And finally, in the blackest moment of our great and hopeless despair, we will finally cry out…“My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46
Well, dear Stranger and Pilgrim, this is more or less the scenario which is before us!
.
And though this very fallible pen can only inscribe a faint picture of what is coming upon us, today’s encouragement is this: “If we don’t give up, we will eventually win the war!” (see Hebrews 10:37-39)

In the coming days, it might seem as though we have failed miserably!

We will have no earthly comfort!

The entire world will seem like our enemy!

But all along, God was quietly working behind the veil, always in total control!

And He will only allow that which will be for our ultimate victory over sin and Satan!

And when we finally come out victorious, we will have feet as burnished brass, and hearts of pure gold, transformed by God into the glorious likeness of Christ!
And at this point, we will walk onward and upward out of this dark world, and into the Heavenly Promised Land: a land of milk and honey!

A land of joyous laughter and singing, with distant bells ringing out songs of victory which will echo through the lush green everlasting hills…for ever and for ever! Amen.

Yes, this Planet in Rebellion has almost come to its final judgment.

And though we cannot predict exactly how much longer we must remain here, we do believe that it will NOT be hundreds of years like the Tribulation of the Dark Ages.

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), this pagan holiday called Christmas, was focused on, and what should be our response to this totally unbiblical holiday.

And certainly, the man of God, or the woman of God has no desire to, “rain on the parade” of others, as the saying goes.
But in response to God’s command to, “Come out of her (Babylon, the apostate churches) My people…”, Christians must come all the way out of spiritual Babylon!
.
God Word does not compromise with paganism and worldly philosophies.
.
And though He may have winked at our ignorance in past decades, the time to come out of Babylon has fully arrived!
Oh yes, such holidays as Christmas and Easter may bring people into the Church.
.
But the fact is, these holidays, along with other compromises, have an appeal to unconverted minds.
.
And so, as we look out across the Christian landscape, it is easily seen that the Church has, over the past decades, filled up with multitudes of unconverted members, who have, “crept in unawares”! (see Jude 1:4)
Those who truly fear God and put their trust in Him, will tremble at the mere thought of adding anything to His Word!
.
And frankly, these Babylonian “holy-days” are an addition to His Word, no matter how hard the worldly-portion-of-the-Church tries to deny it!
.

IMPOSSIBLE TO DO GOOD!
.
And so, this notion that we can somehow turn these unbiblical holidays into a blessing, is to deny God’s Word which tells us that, “Who can bring a clean thing out of an unclean? not one!” Job 14:4.

In other words, these holidays are an integral part of this wicked world, and God will not bless the futile works of mere men.
.
On the other hand, a true worshiper of God never should miss an opportunity to warn the world of the nearness of the end, and of the gift of everlasting life which Jesus offers to all.
This holiday called Christmas, was designed by the apostate churches of early Europe as a means of attracting the world into those fallen churches.
.
And so, to think that these non-biblical holidays could be a benefit to God’s truth is akin to Abraham and Sarah thinking that they could help God by having a child through that Egyptian woman, Hagar!
“EVEN A FOOL, WHEN HE HOLDS HIS PEACE, IS COUNTED WISE…”
Proverbs 17:28

Well, one thing is for sure! Silence is usually the best course to take, when we are unsure about what to do in these “sticky” situations, such as these matters!

It is no secret that Christmas has its roots in ancient pagan holy-days.
.
And history tells us that the apostate churches of Europe developed this unbiblical holy-day, as a means of blending Christianity with paganism to attract a larger membership.
.
But what are we to do with it?
.
Certainly, this website highly encourages us to keep our knowledge to our self, and not, “rain on other’s parade”, as the saying goes!
But in response to God’s command to, “Come out of her (Babylon, the apostate churches) My people…”, Christians must come all the way out of spiritual Babylon!
.
God is not a compromiser with paganism nor with worldly philosophies.
.
And though He may have winked at our ignorance in past decades, the time to come out of Babylon has fully arrived!
One thing to keep in mind is the verse from 2nd Corinthians 11:4…
…”For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus,
whom we have not preached,
or if ye receive another spirit,
which ye have not received,
or another gospel,
which ye have not accepted,
ye might well bear with him.”
.
Yes, just as the Corinthians were prone to accept look-alike gospels, and a look-alike Jesus, and a counterfeit Holy Spirit, so too, Christians today may be prone to do the same!
Oh yes, Christians can use Christmas as a time to share the true Gospel.
.
And Christians may wish to keep quiet while unsaved family members celebrate this unscriptural holy-day.
.
And a Christian parent who has an unsaved spouse may wish to engage in the celebration of these false holidays, with joyfulness, all for the sake of unsaved family members.
But we must keep in mind that the world does not and cannot celebrate the true Christ!
.
No, just like those who were coming to the Corinthians with, “another Jesus”, the world does not understand the true Jesus Christ.
.
Because if they did, they would crucify Him all over again!
.
And so, the Christian must realize that when the world celebrates Christmas, they are actually honoring, “another Jesus”, and not the Jesus of the Bible.
…”Am I being dishonest by feigning to celebrate this false Christian holiday?
…And do I really want to give the impression that I am honoring their jesus, knowing that they are worshiping a jesus of their own making?”
.
And so, the Christian must pray for great wisdom, to know how to handle this difficult situation. (But silence and Christian forbearance is usually the best path to take in most cases.)

In the summer and fall, the child of God may look up and behold in the night-sky, the constellation group known as the “Wide and Narrow Gate Stars”.
.
Two of the stars are comprised of the two brightest stars of Orion’s Shepherd’s Rod…
.
…and the other two brightest stars of “The Dragon’s Wave of Water Constellation”, which proceeds out of his mouth.
.
And God is now revealing this group of stars, along with the “Revelation 12 Woman Constellation”, as she appears to be swerving toward the Narrow Gate Stars.
.
Now once the Christian locates this constellation group, it will be an amazing revelation which will never be forgotten!

NARROW & WIDE GATE CHURCHES
.
But one great admonition should be given concerning the importance of entering into the “Narrow Gate”.
.
Because, as we look out upon the Christian landscape, there appears to be two churches that we may belong to: either the Narrow-Gate Church, or the Wide-Gate Church.
Fortunately (but sadly), the choice between these two churches has been made easier in this respect: that God is no longer in the midst of the local congregations.
.
Yes, even though the gates of Hell shall not prevail against God’s true Church-Elect, the fact is, that individual congregations do not have that same protection!
.
The 7 messages to the 7 churches of Asia, found in Revelation Chapter 2 & 3 makes perfectly clear, that God can and does vomit out any congregation which has been continually unfaithful to their charge!
.

WHICH CHURCH WILL YOU CHOOSE?

Now of course, the voice has been trumpeted, that God is now calling out His true people out from this spiritual Babylon, which the churches have finally become.

And to make this decision, we don’t need to sign some contract or make some vow.

Nor do we need to toss “verbal grenades” behind us, as we leave our congregation for the very last time!
.
And we certainly don’t need to insult anyone, nor tell any individual just how horrible the condition of their beloved church is.

.
SO, COME ALONG!
.
So, come along, dear Christian pilgrim, and follow that bright Star, which is now leading God’s people up, up, up, into the very Heaven of heavens!
.
And in that Promised Land, we will find everlasting joy, and peace, and laughter, and singing, and days without end.

NARROW-GATE STARS
.
This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.
.
Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story).
But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.
.
The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.
.
This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).
.
While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.
.
It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.

The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.
,
The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of theDragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here).

The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch to right).
