QUESTION: What good does it do to torment a human, and then afterward, to just send that person to Hell?

WHY TORMENT?

.

So then, why does God say the following?

.

Listen…“…and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone

in the presence of the holy angels,

and in the presence of the Lamb:

And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:

and they have no rest day nor night,

who worship the beast and his image,

and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.”

Revelation 14:10, 11

Now the general consensus in the Christian community is that this is the eternal punishment of all those who reject Jesus.

And such an unlearned notion is built upon a misunderstanding of God and established upon a misinterpretation of God’s Word.

THE DESTRUCTION OF THE FLESH

.

Listen… “To deliver such an one unto Satan

for the destruction of the flesh,

that the spirit may be saved

in the day of the Lord Jesus.”

1st Corinthians 5:5

.

This above verse presents a great truth concerning how God works in the lives of Believers.

.

You see, it is God’s desire to destroy the fleshly desires that hold His believing child in bondage to sin.

.

And so, God allows purifying fires to burn away the dross of sin.

.

In this way, that purified Believer may no more be a prisoner of his (or her) selfish and fleshly desires, but only to become free in Christ!

PURIFIED AS GOLD!

.

Now just how does God purify His people? Listen to Job… “But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10

.

Job here is making a profound statement concerning not only himself, but on behalf of each and every true worshiper of God!

.

Yes, just as gold is purified by fire, so too, the Believer is purified by fiery trials.

OUR FLESH IS ANTICHRIST!

.

Listen to this revealing verse…

“This I say then, Walk in the Spirit,

and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.

For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,

and the Spirit against the flesh:

and these are contrary the one to the other:

so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”

Galatians 5:16, 17

.

Now this all sounds so easy! Simply walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh!

.

The problem is, for most of us, it is all but impossible to walk in the Spirit, while our “Old Man” of the flesh continually clamors for the lusts and affections of the flesh!

‘OLD MAN’ CRUCIFIED BY FIRE

.

So, what is the Believer to do? How can I crucify the “Old Man” within? It’s absolutely far beyond my ability to crucify him!

.

Well, praise God, that He declares Himself to be a purifier of silver and gold…

.

Listen… “And He shall sit as a refiner

and purifier of silver:

and He shall purify the sons of Levi,

and purge them as gold and silver,

that they may offer unto the LORD

an offering in righteousness.”

Malachi 3:3

.

Yes, God Himself will sit as a purifier of His people (we are elected to be priests; thus we are spiritual “sons of Levi”)!

.

And He will carefully and tenderly bring His people through the fiery trials until He can see His own reflection in us!

.

We ultimately will become a highly polished “vessel unto honour”. 2nd Timothy 2:21

SATAN’S CHARACTER UPON OUR HEARTS

.

Now of course, when our sin-loving, “Old Man”, is fully crucified, there will be no more mark of Satan’s character engraved upon our hearts!

And this is the essence of what it means to have the Mark of the Beast!

To have Satan’s character IS the essence of having the “Mark”!

GOOD NEWS!

.

Now there is some very Good News for those of us living at this fearful time in history! There is much we can do to lessen the torment that we go through!

Yes, if only we would begin to put away all un-Christlike folly, and instead, study and contemplate God’s Word through the hours of our day, we might find that our fiery trials will be far less painful!

.

Listen…“Thou (God) will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee God)!” Isaiah 26:3

.

You see, those who keep Jesus and His Word in their moment-by-moment thoughts will find that, “peace which surpasses all understanding!” (see Philippians 4:7)

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

.

 This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours.

.

It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in.

.

You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west.

.

You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south.

.

Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill.

.

The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill.

.

The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

 

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward.

.

It stands upright a little later in the night.

.

Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross!

.

Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend. This can be a great witnessing tool!

It is said that George Whitefield developed the reputation of becoming the proverbial “one-note symphony”, at times!

And so much so, this tall and foreboding-cut of a figure was once asked, “Why do you always preach about being ‘Born Again’?”

Whitefield returned the answer, “Because…Ye must be “Born Again!”

Yes, George Whitefield knew that unless a man, woman, or even a child had truly received a brand-new life, then any vain attempt at being a Christian was futile!

NICODEMUS COMES TO JESUS!

When Nicodemus came to Jesus by night, he gave, no doubt, his usual flatteringly gracious salutation…

“Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God:

for no man can do these miracles that thou doest,

except God be with him.”

But Jesus wasted no time in cutting right through to the heart of Nicodemus’ great need…

“Jesus answered and said unto him…

Except a man be born again,

he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Here was the message which Nicodemus needed to hear…

“Nicodemus saith unto Him (Jesus),

How can a man be born when he is old?

can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb,

and be born?

Now to this, Jesus answered… 

“Marvel not that I said unto thee,

‘Ye must be born again’. 

The wind bloweth where it listeth,

and thou hearest the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it cometh,

and whither it goeth:

so is every one that is born of the Spirit.”

VAIN SERMONS PREACHED!

And in Christian world, we have a similar dilemma in today’s pulpits!

.

Yes, so many preachers of the Gospel spend countless hours preaching vain words to yet-to-be-converted parishioners, who have no spiritual ears to truly hear!

.

They preach about the many Bible virtues!

.

They tell the congregation about all the factors necessary to become a patient and loving Christian!

.

They sermonize about the importance of being honest!

.

They encourage our congregation to become more generous and giving!

.

Or they extol the virtuous benefits of speaking more gentle, euphemistic words!

.

They give all the latest psychology on raising their children!

.

And they host marriage encounter getaways, at some nice vacation resort!

.

And yet, marriages are still failing!

.

Children are still problem-children!

.

We still use harsh and foolish words!

.

We laugh at inappropriate jokes!

.

Our offerings are still a little on the stingy side!

.

We still tell “little white lies”!

.

We are still impatient!

.

And our anemic Bible contemplation and prayer-life gives doubt that we are truly saved!

YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!

.

Perhaps the only good we get from all those weekly sermons, is that they pile up the Law of God upon our head, like a giant and heavy mountain!

.

And well, maybe we need for that to happen!

.

But it doesn’t solve our great need!

.

And so, we continue to ask our own self, “How can I become a victorious Christian?”

.

And to all this, the big booming voice of George Whitefield comes rolling down through the corridors of time… “YE MUST BE ‘BORN AGAIN’!”

.

Yes, this is the answer to all of life’s problems! “YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN!”

To become Born Again:

This is how we can become patient with others!

.

And this is the “watchman” who guards us from all dishonesty!

And this is “key” which unlocks the treasure-chest of our generosity!

And this is the “good judgment” which causes us to use softer and kinder words!

.

And this is all the “psychology” we’ll ever need to know, to begin treating our family with love, respect, and gentleness!

.

YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! Yes, good old George Whitefield knew the secret of success, which no amount of patching up our character flaws and no amount of duct-taping our broken promises can accomplish! 

.

YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN! Only a brand-new life and a brand-new heart can truly bring about that Christian victory that we so long to have!

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

.

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.

.

It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed.

.

And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.

.

Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).

.

The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.

.

The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.

.

All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

THE SILKEN CORDS OF TELEVISION

Just look around at this world!

Just behold how this world is morphing into one great house of indoctrination, and spiritual death-camp!

Take for instance, the most obvious indoctrination tool, the television (TV, Internet, radio, etc.)!

Having much the same qualities of Satan’s character, these high-tech devices begin indoctrinating little toddlers with seemingly innocent cartoons.

And yet, ever-so-gradually through time, the toddler graduates to other shows, which introduce more and more insidious evil: greed, selfishness, atheism, unbelief, fashion, violence, war, murder, revenge.

These are just some of the qualities of Satan.

A FORM OF GODLINESS

Oh yes, most programs also have a form of godliness. 

.

But Satan fully understands that the best lie is always cloaked with a shroud of goodness, to deceive the simple-hearted.

Beautiful music, colored lights, pretty faces, and sympathetic storylines, mingled with a few nice virtues!

.

These, O Christian, are the cords which Satan wraps around his entranced high-tech viewers! 

.

Thus, these high-tech hucksters spin their cords of deception, deceiving many into believing that television/Internet/etc. are a good thing!

.

And millions buy into those silken threads of deception!

.

.

.

LEARNING INSTITUTES 

.

But television is just one of Satan’s many cords of deception! This world is literally filled with similar deceptions!

.

Take for instance, our learning institutes.

.

Yes, our school systems, once were dedicated to teaching Christian ideals and Bible truths (prior to the 1950’s). 

.

But schools have gradually been taken over by secularists and atheists, indoctrinating children into worldly and atheistic ideologies, and are now even beginning to push perverted and shameful lifestyles on our children!

.

Oh yes, there are many fine and dedicated teachers out there! 

.

.

.

.

.

SOCIAL/FRATERNAL ORDERS

.

And it is no secret that our churches have devolved to a great extent, into little more than a “form of godliness, but denying the Power” of the Holy Spirit.

.

Being void of the Spirit, there are numerous other worldly enticements, such as sports, clubs, counterfeit miracles, hospital systems, ethnicity, traditions, candles, parties, clubs, plays, bingo, clowns, comedians, celebrities, concerts, extravagant buildings, attractive and charismatic leaders, prosperity-driven sermons, movies, and many more similar worldly inducements.

Yes, over the decades, churches have devolved into little more than social/religious fraternal organizations with merely a thin coating of religiosity!

.

GOOD NEWS!

Now, these are just a few of the countless ways that Satan has turned this society into one giant mind-control center!

.

But believe it or not, there is some extremely Good News amidst all this doom-and-gloom!

That’s right! God has provided a way of escape from these societal walls which seem to be closing in all around us!

.

Listen… “And the LORD answered me,

and said, Write the vision,

and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:

though it tarry, wait for it;

because it will surely come,

it will not tarry.”

Yes, now that we can see this Babylonish world close in all around us, the prophet, Habakkuk tells us to run! To Flee!

LOCATING THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION

.

The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.

.

The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.

.

This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull.

In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.

And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades.

.

The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.

.

.

Now with aid of a dark starry night, you may begin to connect this mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape.

.

The front and back legs are very well-defined with stars.

.

The front legs are made partially of Taurus.

.

The back legs and rear fin are made of the Cetus Constellation.

.

But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night.

.

The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus.

.

This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail).

.

The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga.

.

There are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth.

These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water.

Are you old enough to remember the Patty Hearst scandal?

.

Well, Patty Hearst, granddaughter of infamous Newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst was kidnapped by a group of political radicals.

And the whole world was wondering where she was!

.

And then, after some months, she made her appearance, taking part in an armed bank robbery, holding a machine gun!

.

Well, needless to say, the world was shocked!

.

How could this sweet young lady take part in an armed robbery, alongside with her kidnappers?

.

Well, after some time, Patty revealed that she had been fully indoctrinated during the time of her captivity.

And gradually, she began to sympathize with her captors!

Now, in his role as the False Prophet of Revelation 13, Satan is busily causing the world to “make an image to the beast” Revelation 13:14.

Yes, the very qualities that rule Satan’s world, are the same qualities which Satan is now etching upon the tables of our hearts!

And of course, Satan fully understands that it is much easier to begin his indoctrination on very young minds!

And so, public schools, for many decades, more-or-less have been Satan’s instrument of indoctrination!

And as of late, this subtle war has been ratcheted up to a full-scale attack against Christianity.

Now to be fair, there are, no doubt many dedicated teachers and administrators, who have no idea that they are being used as pawns in Satan’s game of chess.

Yes, when a child begins in public schooling, before long, that young child gets an informal street education by fellow students!

And that young child gradually loses whatever innocence he or she previously had!

How to dress, and how not to dress!

How to talk, and how not to talk!

How to be “cool”, and how not to be “cool”!

How to be popular, and just who is unpopular!

In other words, dear Christian parent, your child will come out of his or her education, thoroughly schooled on just about any topic concerning this Antichrist world!

Well, if Christian parents allow their children to watch the average TV shows, then the indoctrination they receive at school is superfluous!

And according to statistics, the vast majority of Christian children attend public schooling.

It reveals that God’s professed people are in serious trouble!

While Christian parents are seeking after the earthly pleasures and worldly treasures, Satan has been stealing a march upon Christians and their children!

GOOD NEWS! A LITTLE TIME LEFT!

But here again, there is some really Good News! The Bible says… “But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans 5:20

.

Yes, with the growing wickedness, God’s grace doth much more abound!

.

God is willing to do His part, if the Believer is willing to do his or her part!

.

And if the Believer is willing to allow the Lord to crucify the flesh, then God can do miracles in that family.

.

And though victory may not come immediately, yet that Believer is now walking the upward pathway to the Celestial City of God!

.

And in the midst of fiery trials, that faithful Believer will begin to see tokens of God’s blessing scattered along that pathway of tears!

.

Yes, the Christian life is one of both, joy and tears!

.

This is the great paradox of the Christian sojourn!

.

Listen… “They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed,

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

bringing his sheaves with him.”

Psalm 126:5, 6

As this above passage reveals, we are to bear precious seed, as we flee to heavenly Zion!

And as we fix our eyes upon “the Land that is very far off”, the Gospel seed will be scattered all along the way!

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.

The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.

This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.

The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries  and Pisces.

Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape.

The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus.

The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

For those who lived in the 1970’s, the name Jim Croce might ring a familiar bell.

Yes, Jim Croce was a shooting star, whose 15 minutes of fame ended almost as soon as it began!

And yet, he wrote and recorded more hit songs, to merely be referred to as a “one-hit-wonder”!

This crash seemed to be a fitting symbol of Jim Croce’s career, which also came to a sudden crash, after that career just began taking to the sky!

This song, like most of Croce’s songs, was very memorable and easy to sing to.

But this zest-for-life song/poem, was a bit difficult for the world to sing along with, knowing that its composer had just been laid to rest in his early grave at the very young age of 30.

But even though Jim Croce didn’t want life to pass him by, it nevertheless did!

But let’s get honest for a moment. When you really think about it, life passes us all by, doesn’t it?

We live for about 7 or 8 decades, and there we go, right down into our grave!

And even those few who actually do enjoy this selfish world well into their 90’s, will finally go down to their graves, never to be heard from again…

TIME IN A BOTTLE

Jim Croce wrote another hauntingly beautiful ballad… “If I Could Put Time In A Bottle”, which also was released posthumously.

But this was also a bit difficult to sing to, knowing that Croce was already in the grave, and his bottle was already broken!

And many people even thought that perhaps Croce wrote this song as a precognition of his soon-coming date with death…

.

The point is, that there are many people throughout the world who live their hopeless lives, knowing that time is passing them by.

And as they grow older, they eventually realize that they cannot put time in a bottle!

They understand that life will soon pass them by!

.

And so, they try to cover this death-sentence up, by trying not to think about their inevitable doom!

.

Some resort to another bottle (alcohol) to try to forget about the past (or the present): ah yes, the Bottle of Forgetfulness! 

.

And others will try to keep so busy, as to not be alone with fearful thoughts about their hopeless future!

Yes, the people of the world live in fear of death, though many try to hide this fact!

Yes, we try to imagine that the next few decades will drag out, and so “why should I worry about my future date with death?”

And with the aid of that infamous happy-faced false prophet, the television (which constantly assures us just how important and relevant we are), we try to escape that Grim Reaper, who always seems to be waiting just around the next corner, lurking in the shadows, patiently waiting!

A GENERATION PASSES AWAY

which he takes under the sun?

One generation passes away,

But we see a new generation springing up, with all the brash exuberance which we once had!

.

We see the younger generation having their so-called “storybook romances”, that we once experienced!

.

We see our hair turning grey, while theirs are full of youthful color and sheen!

We hear our favorite Jim Croce song while riding the down-escalator in a department store, as we try to find something to buy, which might brighten up our day!

.

Oh yes, God gives us many happy, fleeting moments with friends and family.

.

But the longer we live, the more that life passes us by!

.

We no longer feel a part of the “now generation”!

.

We hear the TV tell us how relevant we seniors are, all the while focusing its attention on the young and beautiful!

.

Jim Croce died over 40 years ago.

.

He would be well over 80 years old today!

.

But with each passing day, his memory keeps fading more and more into the past!

.

Soon his name will be forgotten altogether!

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created!

It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward.

But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

.

And these are not merely obscure stars. These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens!

.

The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .

.

The Flower of the Field is commonly known as Scorpio .

.

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group.

.

Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers…

“The wind blows where it desires,

and you hear the sound thereof,

but canst not tell whence it comes,

and where it goes:

so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Do you see the long blade of grass growing from the base of the Flower of the Field?

This is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation.

Off the coast of French Guiana in South America, is an island known as The Devil’s Island.

And for about a hundred years, up until about 70 years ago, it was used as a prison-island.

And as history records, this island became the hell-scape of many horrible atrocities.

ISLE OF HORRORS FINALLY ABOLISHED

But after almost 80 years, those atrocities began to be exposed to the world, and the French were shamed into finally abolishing this Isle of Horrors, in 1953.

As history reveals, the few who survived this disease-infested cruelty, exposed to the world the incomprehensible horrors which those 80,000 prisoners endured over that century.

Now of course, like any prison, those prisoners who remain loyal to the prison-warden are often rewarded.

And likewise, the Devil may just reward all his loyal subjects with a somewhat peaceful existence (and even riches too) here on earth (read Psalm 73).

And we must further bear in mind, that God, being very tender and merciful, allows such earthly enjoyment for those who are eternally lost!

Yes, God is far more merciful than those who ruled over that prison island called, Devil’s Island!

Just think of all the cruel wars, and thefts, and murders, and rapes, and slaveries, and various other oppressions which this earth has witnessed over the centuries!

THIS SELFISH WORLD EXPOSED!

Yes, as God explains in Proverbs…

“For that they hated knowledge,

and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

They would none of My counsel: they despised all My reproof.

Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way,

and be filled with their own devices.”

Proverbs 1:29-31.

.

So, this passage (as well as many other similar passages), reveals that Mankind is being rewarded for our evil ways!

.

This prison island is a place where our sin and selfishness become manifest and brought to its final conclusion.

.

Yes, this prison island is a place in which the Satan’s government of selfishness can really be witnessed by all who live here!

.

And we who live here can now fully see the tragic results of what “selfishness” is really all about!

GOD’S ETERNAL PURPOSE

But God has allowed this prison island for His own “eternal purpose”.  

.

Listen… “For the Lord will not cast off for ever:

But though He cause grief,

yet will He have compassion

according to the multitude of His mercies…

Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD….”

Lamentation 3:31-34, 40, 41 (Condensed)

God takes no pleasure in allowing the Devil to cause all this suffering, except that we might eventually learn from our selfish ways and return to the Lord!

“O taste and see that the LORD is good:”

Psalm 34:8

But God also allows Mankind to taste and see that the Lord is good!

.

Yes, amidst all this suffering and woe, God has left remnants of His love, in the form of family joys, the beauty of nature, and the ability to have joy in nature with family and friends.

.

And so, Mankind has been given the commission to observe these two forms of government: Satan’s government of selfishness/suffering/death, in contrast to God’s government of unselfish love/peace/life-everlasting.

.

And thus, by beholding this great contrast between God’s love & beauty, and Satan’s selfishness and ugliness, Mankind can make a clear choice between the two governments.

CHRIST CAME DOWN TOO!

Now, God, in His wonderful love and mercy came here to live among us, in the person of Jesus Christ.

.

And Christ grew up amidst the wickedness of this world, and worked and walked among us, and yet without sin.

.

But He endured this world, just like us, for another purpose too!

.

You see, God, through Jesus, came to offer to us prisoners a way of escape from all this Satanic horror.

.

And so, Jesus came to live among us, “and preached unto the spirits in prison”…showing us a better Way to live. 1st Peter 3:19

.

And finally, by His taking our place on the Cross, provided the atonement necessary for God’s forgiveness for a rebellious planet.

And like that horrible island, there has been provided an escape-route for us too!

That’s right! We don’t have to remain here!

Yes, the wonderful Good News is, that we don’t need to wait for death, for us to be released from this prison-island-planet!

That’s right! We can be transported to Heaven right now, though our mortal bodies must continue on, here, for a little while longer.

Nevertheless, our spirits can enjoy sitting with Christ in the Heavenlies, right now!

A PROMISED LAND OF JOY & LAUGHTER & SINGING!

Yes, we will soon live in a land of trees and meadows and forests and oceans and beauty beyond anything we can now imagine!

And in that Promised Land, we will never grow old!

And there we will be, forever young!

Trading this world of sorrow and death for a world of never-ending joy?

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

LOCATING THESE TWO CONSTELLATIONS

.

.

This phenomenon begins in October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in.

You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west.

You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south.

Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill.

The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill.

The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation.

This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward.

It stands upright a little later in the night.

Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in

November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend.

This can be a great witnessing tool!

The message of the Old Testament prophets was basically this:

God’s people are caught-up in idolatry and are under the disapproving eye of God.

And because of our idolatry, God will allow our enemies to reign over us.

And it is high time we repent, and turn away from our many idols, back to God!

.

Most anybody can see that this society is in deep trouble, morally, spiritually, financially, and politically.

Things are happening which are baffling, to say the least!

.

Our western societies are literally crumbling before our very eyes, or so it seems!

A CALL TO ACTION!

Now there are many voices in our society, calling for reform. “We must take this nation back!”

And many Christians are also listening to the secular voices as well…

…”We have to form ‘action-committees’…

…We have to get out and vote…

…We have to take back the various institutions which are mis-leading our society in a downward spiral!”

And this message is resonating with very many Christians!

But, is this what God wants from Christians?

Is God wanting a political and social crusade?

We are baffled as our politicians thrust us into economic suicide!

We tearfully behold our children being led away into moral depravity, by an invisible Pied Piper from Hell, via television and high-tech musical devices!

OLD TESTAMENT PROPHETS CRYING OUT!

Yes, it seems that everything in the world is now turning itself on its head!

But is it ‘action-committees’ that we need?

.

Is it more votes to get the “right people” into office?

.

Will storming the not-so-hallowed-halls of the various institutions ever bring back the sanity that we have seemed to have lost in this society?

.

But Isaiah does not call for ‘action-committees’, or more ‘voting-coalitions’, or storming the not-so-hallowed-halls of various, “higher” learning institutes…

…”Wash you, make you clean;

put away the evil of your doings from before Mine eyes;

cease to do evil;”

Isaiah 1:16.

.

Here is the only remedy which will ever cure the cancer upon any society.

.

Here is a revolution which begins when one wipes off the fog from the bathroom mirror. Personal repentance!

NEW TESTAMENT AGREES WITH OLD

And James in the New Testament picks up on the same theme…

…”Ye adulterers and adulteresses,

know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?…

…Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep…

…Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,

and He shall lift you up.”

James 4:4, 8-10. (Condensed for brevity)

Yes, it has been our friendship with the world, which has caused God to withdraw His protection from our societies!

.

And we Christians have all been guilty!

.

The only action committee that must be formed is with me and the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

.

The only voting-block that will win an election, is to “vote with my feet”, and walk away from my own personal evil associations!

.

And the only hallowed-hall that needs to be stormed is my own personal prayer-closet!

.

God is not raising up groups to take anything back!

.

But God is working in a very personal way with any man, woman, or child who is willing to let Christ come in and transform that person into the image of Christ!

In the Book of Job, the last chapters, is found a very long lecture to Job, given by Almighty God Himself.

And in this amazing lecture, God asked Job various questions.

.

However, the questions God asked, were probably far beyond what Job could comprehend, much less give an answer to.

.

But God did this to quell Job’s proud anger: Job’s anger, not only at Job’s “friends”, who were blaming Job’s sins as the cause of all Job’s troubles; but also Job’s anger at God, because God had brought upon Job all these troubles in the first place.

“CAN YOU GUIDE ARCTURUS WITH HIS SONS?”

But among the various questions asked Job, were some very curious ones about the stars.

And one of those questions about the stars was… “Can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

Now Job, like many ancient wise-men, probably realized that Arcturus was that very bright star in the night skies.

.

But what in the world was God talking about, when He asked Job if he could “guide Arcturus WITH HIS SONS“?

.

How could a star have sons?!

.

And how could Job, a mere man, possibly guide a star?!?

.

What strange questions for God to be asking a mere man!!
