Daily Devotional, Year 4: February 6

Noble Bereans,

.

Part 50:

“Liberty of Conscience Now Threatened!”

“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly,

that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,

giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

Forbidding to marry (Christ),

and commanding to abstain from meats (the deeper truths of Scripture)“

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

.

Let’s review the key Bible passage… “And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming there, went into the synagogue of the Jews. These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:10, 11

.

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

.

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

.

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

.

2. “And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

.

And so, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

.

Thus there was an open-mindedness which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON

.

This Revelation 12 Dragon “cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.” Revelation 12:15

.

And this amazing constellation is comprised of various stars from several different well-known constellations. And this Dragon was created by God to reveal and confirm a great Bible truth regarding Satan and his war against Heaven.

.

And the wave of water coming forth out of the Dragon’s mouth is spoken of in more veiled terms in such places as Psalm 22:5, 6… “When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of Hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;”

.

So here we see that the Dragon’s wave of water is actually symbolic of Satan’s army of willing humans, who oppress the Church through means of false doctrines, oppressive dogma, and mind-indoctrination via various ungodly influences.

THE GREAT CONTROVERSY

In Ellen White’s book, “The Great Controversy Between Christ and Satan”, she addresses this issue of liberty of conscience, and the future persecution against the faithful remnant people of God.

AN INSIGHTFUL AND UNCANNY LOOK FORWARD IN TIME!

**Now, when reading this fine book, Great Controversy, it is also an uncanny look forward in time, to our day, and speaks of things only realized in these last few decades.**

.

And yet, because it was written in the late 1800’s, it doesn’t fully explain things from today’s vantage point. In other words, we have a much greater advantage today, because we can more clearly and more fully see the reality of the current world situation.

.

Yes, we now have the great advantage of living in this day when prophecy is being fulfilled right before our very eyes!

.

Nevertheless, Ellen White was given great insight into Bible prophecy, and by reading The Great Controversy, it is a tremendous witness that God was indeed working mightily through her!

MUCH WORSE THAN ANYONE REALIZED!

But in this fearful time we are now living, we realize that Satan’s oppressive warfare against God’s people is of a much wider scope than merely from the papal church-system.

And perhaps this chapter does not bring this aspect out as clearly as it should.

Nevertheless, we can now see things in much clearer light, and understand that liberty of conscience is in much greater peril because of the totalitarian nature of the current-day oppression!

Yes, with the advent of such things as television, radio, and Internet, Satan is now using virtually all of society to control the hearts and minds of God’s remnant people. And all this mind control goes far beyond the Church, as he works through these various means to brainwash all of society, yea even all the world!

.

Even the educational institutions are currently being used in his battle to control the hearts and minds of the people! Oh yes, there are no doubt, many fine and dedicated employees within these institutions. But just like the apostate churches and denominations, these honest-hearted people would be mortified and appalled to realize that Satan is using them as pawns to further his oppressive warfare against the entire world, and especially against God’s faithful ones!

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

So just where is the Good News in all this bad news?

Listen…“But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:” Romans 5:20

**This is just one exceeding great and precious promise among countless other similar promises that God will be with us till the end! Yes, the Lord will see us through the “troublous times” ahead!**

And as good and noble Bereans, we must with open minds and truth-seeking hearts, prayerfully study all these things to see if they are indeed so!

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

BODY HARD TO SEE

.

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night. The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus .

FIRST APPEARS IN MID-SUMMER

.

This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Revelation 12 Woman in Travail (not pictured in this chart).

The Wave of Water is primarily composed of the Constellation Auriga. There are two dimmer stars (#’s 1 & 2) which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth. These two dimmer stars are also part of this Wave of Water, but are not part of the Auriga Constellation.

It’s truly amazing how much evil is occurring in today’s most advanced societies.

But it is equally amazing how an intelligent society hasn’t yet figured it out, that by allowing morals to decline, crime and other evils rise at about the same rate.

Just look at television for instance. From 1950 to present day, the morals have declined tremendously (not that the morals of the past were so wonderful.)

And yet, knowing how societal standards have so greatly devolved over such a relatively short time, society just seems oblivious to the fact that its moral standards on television, Internet, and radio greatly determine and shape the moral (or rather, immoral) behavior of that society.

Still, society simply allows more and more evil to be viewed and listened to on a daily basis, via the high-tech media.

And instead of maintaining the highest standards for what these various media are allowed to broadcast, society is permitting more and more evil to be pumped into the hearts and minds of its citizenry.

And then when these horrific evils are reenacted in real-life situations, society seems puzzled as to why all this wickedness is occurring!

But Scripture plainly declares…“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Awake to righteousness, and sin not;” 1st Corinthians 15:33, 34

It is very troubling that school shootings have an eerie resemblance to today’s video games. In other words, many video games are based on killing as many imaginary people as possible! And millions of young people are daily devoted to operating a hand-controlled device that simulates the slaughter of humans.

Of course, this only confirms the Bible passage…“Be not deceived. Evil communications corrupt good manners (good behavior)” 1st Corinthians 15:33.

.

What’s amazing is that so many are completely missing this connection altogether!

.

But why should it surprise us when a young person acts out these video games in real-life atrocities?

.

Well, perhaps this is an oversimplification of the problem.

So then, just what is the deep root cause for our moral decline?

Simple! Satan is the ruler of this world of sin and selfishness.

.

And until Mankind fully realizes this and turns away from this sin, things are going to continue to grow worse.

Oh yes, Satan may change his modus-operandi for a little while, when it suits his deceptive purpose.

In other words, “the god of this world” can cause society to seemingly transform into a higher degree of morality all of a sudden. But should he do so, we can be confident that things will continue to grow worse and worse, in one way or another!

Licentious images on the media will be replaced with just a more insidious and totalitarian form of evil! And Christians will be targeted.

Satan is much smarter than all of us collectively! And he sometimes works very cleverly within the framework of the law to oppress God’s people…

“Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee,

which frameth mischief by a law?

They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous,

and condemn the innocent blood.”

Psalm 94:20, 21

And he’s like a crooked serpent! He never travels in a straight path! He can change directions at any time! And as this above passage reveals, Satan often works within the laws of the land to oppress people.

But the very Good News is, that God is now calling for anyone who is fed up with this evil world, to turn back to Him with all their heart.

But when that individual Believer continues to climb that ever-ascending pathway out of this “City-of-Destruction” world, that faithful follower of Jesus can escape the tsunami of evil that is now sweeping through the land.

Look eastward in the early summer through fall. Find the Cassiopeia Constellation. Cassiopeia is the Mount of Blessing. In the sketch, it is the farthest mountain to the left. In the sky, it is the northern-most of these three mountains when facing eastward. It resembles a pyramid.

Then find the second pyramid to its right (south).

.

Then go a little further south to the next third pyramid. The third snow-cap is the Destroying Mountain Constellation.

These three pyramids are the snow-capped portion of these three mountains in this sketch. (of course, you won’t see the snow-caps in the sky. They are just an embellishment in this sketch to present a concept-EDITOR).

THE VALLEY OF DECISION CONSTELLATION GROUP.

They appear in mid-summer in the eastern skies in pre-dawn hours. These are made of Cassiopeia (mount on left), and various stars from the Andromeda Constellation (valley) Pegasus (Mount of Cursing (middle mount) & Destroying Mount (right)), and Pisces (Broad Way to Hell). The galaxy which appears to be climbing the Mountain of Blessing is the Andromeda Galaxy.

Another horrific tragedy occurred yesterday.

And today, the national media is greatly concerned about how similar tragedies might be prevented in the future.

.

But sadly, the focus was on the ways that humans can solve our own problems, by our own strength, and with our own intellect: more security, more laws, more restrictions, more money, etc…

.

EVIL SPIRITS THE TRUE PROBLEM

But if only we would stop and listen to the Voice which rules over the whole universe, we might discover the only true Way of forever solving our increasing lawlessness in the land, and around the world!

The Bible reveals that Mankind’s problems are not due to humans.

No, instead the Bible reveals the following…

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,

but against principalities, against powers,

against the rulers of the darkness of this world,

against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

Ephesians 6:12

.

Here is revealed the true source of the problems which are currently plaguing Mankind: the “rulers of the darkness of this world…spiritual wickedness in high places”.

The Bible is replete with true historical accounts regarding God’s protection of those societies which obeyed Him, and His lack of protection for the societies which went headlong after wickedness.

And let’s face it! The western societies, which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation, have long ago distanced themselves from the Gospel.

And these societies are now suffering the recompense from their turning away from God. God is allowing these nations to fight their own battles, because they refuse to call on Him for help.

It’s not more guns, or less guns, or more police, or more soldiers, or more money, or more locks, or more walls, or more laws, or less laws, or more education, or whatever else we think we need to protect ourselves from our enemies.

And as such, his spirit resides in the lives of the children of men, causing them to do his bidding.

NINEVEH TURNED TO GOD

But in spite of this, we often read in Scripture of how God came to the rescue of any society, when that society truly turned back in genuine sorrow for sin.

The tiny Book of Jonah is just one example of the Lord’s mercy on a heathen nation which truly repented and sought the Lord’s mercy.

Well, the Good News is, that God will protect any individual who truly becomes a follower of Jesus.

.

Oh yes, many true Christians became martyrs, in centuries past, and even today in other nations which are hostile to the Bible.

.

But God’s protection and His blessings are poured out on each one of His genuine followers with every new day, until the day arrives in which God removes them into His everlasting Promised Land, the Paradise to come!

“GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES”

This devotional will end with this following great and precious promise for God’s protection…

“He shall cover thee with His feathers,

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great number of things!

ROME AND ROMANCE

As the popular saying goes, “All roads lead to Rome”.

Yes, we live in a world in which the City of Rome has been more or less, the centerpiece of western civilization.

But what about the word “romance”?

Are we to assume that Romeo’s & Juliet’s all-consuming passion has some connection with Rome?

ROMANCE CAN TURN RATIONAL PEOPLE INTO ABSOLUTE FOOLS!

Well, regardless of the etymology of the word, “romance”, the real question is, “just what is the source of the overwhelming amorous passion which consumes two people who ‘fall in love’?”

.

After all, many people have personally experienced the rapturous euphoria which so often accompanies a new relationship.

.

And most people will cringe over their memory of some past moment when they made an absolute fool of themselves, because of getting hopelessly caught up in a romantic state of mind.

.

And let’s face it! Romance quite often causes really bad decision-making.

.

And many terrible and critical mistakes have been made, by reason of the blinders which lovers so often wear because of their new romance.

AMNON’S ROMANTIC LUST

The Bible is not completely silent about the superficiality of romantic feelings. The story of how “Amnon was so vexed, that he fell sick for his (half) sister Tamar.” 2nd Samuel 13:2

.

Yes, King David’s son was “head-over-heals” for Tamar, a beautiful young virgin, also the daughter of David (from another wife).

.

But after Amnon finally forced her to lose her virginity…

…”Then Amnon hated her exceedingly;

so that the hatred wherewith he hated her

was greater than the love wherewith he had loved her.”

2nd Samuel 13:15

.

So here is an incredible account of how fleeting and superficial that romantic feelings can be.

Amnon’s love instantly turned to hatred as soon as he got what he wanted.

.

His burning passion turned to utter disdain for that lovely girl!

.

And sadly, many a young and naive schoolgirl must learn this same tragic lesson!”

“Comparing spiritual things with spiritual”

1st Corinthians 2:13

Now of course, many Bible students will make the argument…“But the Book, Song of Solomon is all about the passion of romance!”

.

**But with a prayerful study of “Song of Solomon”, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, the true meaning of that little book can be discovered: God’s love for His bride, the Church!**

.

And all those seemingly “gushy” descriptions are actually metaphors for spiritual truths.

.

For example, when God speaks of “breasts”, He is actually referring to “the milk of the Word” which gives spiritual life and growth to new Christians. (1st Peter 2:2)

.

“The spirit that now works in the children of disobedience”

**Now, what almost everyone forgets or never even knew, is that Satan is the one whom 2nd Corinthians 4:4 names, “the god of this world”.**

And as such, the inhabitants of the world are indwelt by “the prince of the power of the air, that spirit that now works in the children of disobedience”. Ephesians 2:2

.

**And because the world’s populace is void of the Holy Spirit, the “prince of this world” can bring on any type of lust and idolatry he wishes.**

.

And let’s face it. So often, romance is nothing more than lust and idolatry.

GOOD NEWS: TRUE LOVE IS STILL AVAILABLE!

But the Good News is, that any man, woman, or child can begin to reach out to the Lord, and seek after the knowledge of His Word.

And by receiving His Holy Spirit, that true Believer can experience genuine agape love: a godly love and kindness and understanding for others.

.

And then, should that Believer decide to seek after a spouse, there will be a calm and rational and self-controlled attraction to his or her spouse-to-be, which will not be a passionate lust or idol-worship.

.

But rather, it will be a tri-fold union with Him whose great agape love for His Church is shared between those two Believers who desire to join in holy matrimony.

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

**However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

**The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).**

**And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).**

So, we have this 7/10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Pray without ceasing.

In every thing give thanks:

for this is the will of God

in Christ Jesus concerning you.”

1st Thessalonians 5:16-18

In the last devotional on how to breeze through the coming trials (Click here to read), it was put forth that we must joyfully give thanks for all things, because all things are meant for our eternal good.

And we must be instant in prayer.

BREEZING THROUGH THE TIME OF TROUBLE

But today’s devotional will highlight one of those three admonitions which will guide us, and breeze us through that soon-coming tempest.

Here is a very important ingredient to living victoriously through the coming storm, just ahead!

This above verse from 2nd Timothy gives great insight into Paul’s prayer-life. His spiritual son, Timothy was continually remembered by Paul, in his daily prayers, both day and night.

This means that Paul was constantly in prayer throughout his each and every day…and night!

REJOICE, PRAY, AND GIVE THANKS!

“And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.” Revelation 15:2

Oh yes, it will be a massive and terrible storm! But if the Believer wishes to stand on that sea of glass, and have that harp of David’s Psalms, then these “How To Breeze Through The Time of Trouble” articles are extremely critical to read and to put into action!

And these three admonitions, to “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you”, are every bit as important as all the other ingredients, in enabling Christians to breeze through this time of trouble coming soon upon the earth!

**And so, O–sorely-tried-child-of-faith, it is critically important to begin putting these three admonitions into action right now! Don’t wait until the soon-coming storm begins to rage!**

**In other words, when each daily trial and tribulation arises, we must begin right now to, “rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, and in every thing give thanks”.**

And by so-doing, our great distress and consternation over our supposed troubles will evaporate like the morning dew on a sunny day!

Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.” 2nd Corinthians 12:9, 10

That is, to see dead people slowly sleep-walking through a giant shopping mall, surrealistically going through the motions of shopping…

…and all this while silky violin strains of “elevator music” echoed through the post-apocalyptic shopping center, was a giant shock to movie audiences back in those days!

Whether engaging them in their little games and sports, or hugging them often, or just making life in the home nice and breezy.

This is an integral part of what it means to “bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

The Christian parents must, kindly, patiently, and gently, guide your children through their childhood in such a way which will cause them to desire, yes, even yearn, to walk side-by-side with you along the joy-filled highways and byways of eternity!

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then the world could all joke and mock ***“the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the peoples of this world, by laughingly saying…“The Devil made me do it!* *The Devil made me do it!***“

But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great amount of things!

And the Bible also reveals that God also hates bullying! From those who bully some “odd” kid in school, to those who bully others who are smaller or physically weaker than the bully!

Yes, the Bible gives us many examples of bullies, and how severely He dealt with them.

Take for example, that giant of a bully, Goliath, who bullied the citizens of Israel! Everyone, even the very tall King Saul was afraid to go up against that mighty warrior-bully giant, Goliath!

But God sent His own representative, the small shepherd boy, David, who fearlessly slew this 11-foot tall (approx.) giant with only a sling and five smooth stones!

And as a result, countless Christian and other morality-based websites are bullied to either cease from presenting their views or face the wrath of these tyrannical cancel-culture bullies!

And what about the political and religious intolerance which occurs around the world. Yes, Socialism/Communism has always behaved like a bully against the common people! More and more, those who speak out in opposition to these totalitarian ideologies are being targeted by the media giants as well as by the so-called, “social-justice” politicians whom these high-tech giants support. Demonization of their supposed enemies has now become a daily occurrence.

And let’s face it, Demonizing people, businesses, and institutions because they have a different ideology is also a very powerful form of bullying!

Yes, these two giants (political/social secularists & corporate media), have become modern-day Goliaths, preying upon and stigmatizing their political opponents in the eyes of the general populace!

This page is concerned with the Glorious Crown (a.k.a. Corona Borealis Constellation), as is written… “And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven; a woman…and upon her head a crown of twelve stars.” Revelation 12:1.

**This rather dim constellation follows behind that bright and beautiful star, Arcturus , as Arcturus leads a heavenly ambassage through the heavens each night in summer.**

.

many crowns happen to be studded with precious jewels. Well this heavenly crown is no exception! And though these “jewels” are stars, they represent the precious jewels spoken of throughout Scripture, when speaking about God’s people.

.

**But this constellation is not nearly as high-profile as, say, the 7 Stars Constellation (a.k.a., The Big Dipper). It is relatively dim, compared to those two bright constellations.**

LOCATING THIS CROWN…

.

This constellation begins to appear in late December (just before dawn), but is best seen, mid-sky when this group of constellations can be seen when facing west. In March-April, very late in the pre-dawn hours, this Summer Constellation group begins to be seen when facing west, and continues to be seen in the west until fall.

.

**The Crown follows almost directly behind that great star, Arcturus, as you can see in the sketch.**

.

Repeat: it is somewhat easier to study the 12 stars of this constellation when it is in western half of night-sky (when you have to see it as you face westward). So when these Summer Constellations are in the western half of the sky, simply follow the handle of the Big Dipper till you locate Arcturus. Then the Crown is following Arcturus. You will only see the wreath-like 7 stars plus 1 star (in middle) until you get away from all city lights. Then you can make out the other 5 stars, which makes it appear like a full crown.

***COMBINATION OF BOTH* *CORONA BOREALIS & BOOTES***

This constellation is a combination of both Corona Borealis plus several stars from the Bootes Constellation.

The stars, Alkalyroos-Bootis and the Delta-Bootis Star are both combined with the other stars from the Corona Borealis community, to make this 12-star (plus 13th star in middle).

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

And yet, while perhaps as much as 90% of this world’s inhabitants totally disbelieve in a personal and literal devil, the Bible reveals him to be, “the god of this world”. 2nd Corinthians 4:4

And the Bible gives account after account of various demon-possessed individuals whom Jesus set free during His earthly ministry.

The really puzzling question is, “How can we look around at this sad and hopelessly sin-sick world and NOT believe in the existence of Satan!?”

The fact is, that this planet is literally dripping with evil!

Christian television networks love to evoke the name of Jesus.

.

As a matter of fact, it is not uncommon to hear such phrases as, “We must make Jesus the centerpiece of our life!

.

He needs to be our ‘Everything!'”

.

And of course, such bold proclamations are easy to make, yet not so easy to fulfill!

.

Even Jesus addressed this common issue…

…”This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth,

and honoureth Me with their lips;

but their heart is far from Me.”

Here is seen that mere words have no value unless accompanied by sanctified action.

And one big problem with these TV ministries is, that while they claim to have made Jesus the centerpiece of their life, they often give strong evidence that this is simply not the case.

For example, one of these shows has a host that addresses some emotional problem and need of the weekly guest.

But they attempt to solve that “psychological” issue according to how the world tries to solve such matters.

And so, instead of walking by the Word, they suggest, “You need to have much more dialogue with your spouse!”

Or they recommend, “You must get much more therapy with professionals!”

Or, “You must take more time for recreation!”

GOOD NEWS! “The Righteous Shall Shine Forth As The Sun!”

The very Good News is that, unlike the long centuries of the Dark Ages, this second persecution will not last for centuries.

But it will be intense!

“HE’S THE PERFECT PASTOR!”

.

Well, that’s what his congregants seem to think, anyway.

.

You ask one church member, and she will tell you,

“He has a wonderful choir! And they only sing sacred hymns! None of the dribble you hear so often in so many churches today!”

.

Ask another, and he will say, “He’s absolutely flawless in his doctrinal teachings!”

.

Ask still another, “He combines serious topics with humorous witticisms! So enjoyable!”

.

And yet another, “He’s lived an exemplary life!”

.

Okay, so the perfect pastor certainly has a long line of avid supporters, who, by the way, believe just about anything that this pastor teaches! Unquestioned trust and loyalty!

.

But since we profess to be “Noble Bereans”, should we not take a closer examination of today’s “Perfect Pastors”, to see if their reputation and accolades stand up to God’s Word?

Listen to that great Church reformer, Thomas Brooks as he speaks about false teachers jesting in the pulpits…

The Babylonian/Catholic doctrine of “Eternal Torment” is the most glaring heresy which this man teaches, not realizing the true nature of Hell, nor the true nature of God.

This abomination was a common church-doctrine, invented by ancient Babylonians, and picked up and perpetuated for many centuries by the apostate church-system which dominated Europe during the Dark Ages (who, by the way, tormented those who didn’t pay homage to their church).

The False Hermeneutic of The Historical, Grammatical Method of Interpretation.

Here is another totally non-biblical doctrine which most theologians endorse, in spite of not having one shred of biblical support: this heresy forbids the spiritualizing away of types and shadows in Scripture.

The end result of this false hermeneutic, is a people who cannot truly hear deep Bible truths often veiled in types, shadows, allegories and parables.

Has eliminated 19 chapters of Revelation, saying, “it doesn’t concern us…we won’t be around”. Such heretical Bible “teachers” as Cyrus Scofield were, what is commonly referred to as, “Dispensationalists”, and saw various forms of Salvation, depending on the era of the church.

This “Perfect Pastor” will never acknowledge that God is calling His chosen people to “Come out of her, My people”, which refusal will then place this pastor’s flock under the judgment of God in these last moments!

Yes, this is the real point to what Satan is doing in these last days to deceive and destroy: to cause humanity to reject God’s current-day end-time message, to “Come out of her (Babylon), My people”.

FAITHFUL PASTORS

This article is in no way meant to demean those faithful pastors. And just because many pastors teach these unbiblical doctrines does not necessarily indict them as being “wolves-in-sheep’s-clothing”.

Yes, sincere Bible teachers have been erroneously teaching these wrong doctrines simply because Satan has stealthily “crept in unawares”, bringing in these “damnable heresies” into the Church-world! (Jude 1:4 & 2nd Peter 2:1)

Ostriches & Us!

.

“Gavest thou…wings and feathers unto the ostrich?

Which leaveth her eggs in the earth,

and warmeth them in dust,

And forgetteth that the foot may crush them,

or that the wild beast may break them.

***She is* *hardened against her young ones,***

as though they were not hers:

her labour is in vain without fear;

Because God hath deprived her of wisdom,

neither hath he imparted to her understanding.

What time she lifteth up herself on high,

she scorneth the horse and his rider.”

In the last few chapters of the Book of Job, God asks Job some pretty tough questions.

.

And in this above passage from that wonderful book, God is scolding Job because Job’s pride caused him to think that he was righteous, when actually, he was not! Yes, Job had covert wickedness hidden within his heart.

.

So, God was putting Job in his rightful place, as a sinner who desperately needed God’s grace.

But this little critique by God regarding ostriches, from the Book of Job, presents an allegory that should not escape our attention!

.

Because in today’s world, WE Christians have far too often conducted our lives in accordance with this passage (which by the way, is not so much about ostriches, than it is about God’s Church.)

.

For instance, this passage speaks of the haphazard manner in which the ostrich cares for her soon-to-be-born babies. She takes no precautions for their safety! She merely leaves her eggs in an open place, even in pathways where they are easy targets for travelers to crush, or beasts to devour!

.

And of course, God is not nearly so concerned about ostrich eggs here!

.

No, this is an obvious comparison to how we Christians so often handle our own young ones.

.

CHOICES, CHOICES, CHOICES

.

Just think of how many ways that we Christians have been careless with our young ones!

.

Pregnant mothers quite often don’t take good care of themselves during those nine months. Constantly eating less-than-wholesome food, and sometimes taking possibly harmful medications.

.

And after delivery, nursing Christian mothers are often too quick to begin feeding them formula milk instead of her own milk, merely for convenience’s sake.

.

And a little later, the Christian mother needlessly returns to work, leaving them in the care of others for four or five days a week, often for the sake of maintaining a self-indulgent lifestyle that financial affluence affords.

.

Parents often divorce, leaving children without one parent in the home.

.

“SPIRIT…WILLING, BUT…FLESH…WEAK”

Of course, the Lord fully understands that extenuating circumstances often make our choices limited, in the whirl of everyday business and in the varying circumstances of this present life.

Nevertheless, all these things have both a direct, and indirect bearing on the future health and happiness of our children!

.

And Christian parents need to make every possible concession and sacrifice in OUR own lives, to accommodate the health needs of our developing children.

SECULAR ASSOCIATIONS

And as the child grows older, Christian parents often allow their children to make friends with children of unbelievers, enabling them to learn the godless ways of the world.

.

Instead, we should have been crying out for the Lord’s deliverance from harmful environments.

SECULAR INDOCTRINATION

.

Next, we Christian parents often send their children to secular institutes to learn, “the three ‘R’s'”.

.

A recent survey found that most Christian children attend public schooling!

.

And of course, along with the “three R’s”, they also get a thorough indoctrination into godlessness, from less-than-wholesome peers, and from the atheistic curriculum which is a normal undercurrent at such places.

“EVIL COMMUNICATIONS”

1st Corinthians 15:33

And then, when the children return home from school, many Christian parents permit the children to watch TV and Internet and listen to radio, allowing Satan to further fill their minds with less-than-wholesome talk and often even vile images!

SEEKING EARTHLY RICHES

.

And then, to top it all off, many of us Christian parents often encourage our youth to pursue some high-paying career, not remembering Paul’s admonition…

.

“And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare,

and into many foolish and hurtful lusts,

which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil:

which while some coveted after,

they have erred from the faith,

and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things;

and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.”

1st Timothy 6:8-11.

Do we somehow think this above advice is not for us? It says here, “having food and raiment, let us therewith be content”.

Now, is this the normal position that the Christian-community takes today?

Are there not many Christians today, exerting and expending much energy, all in effort to amass great stores of earthly Mammon in their pursuit of self-indulgent lifestyles?

Now of course, the unsaved people of the world are perfectly right in pursuing their earthly dreams.

.

After all, this world will be their final home and eternal resting place.

.

But Christian pilgrims have a calling to, “come out from among them and be separate”.

.

And yet, Christians have been called out to follow Jesus, not to seek after the self-indulgent pleasures and proud pursuits and the vain dreams of this selfish world!

.

But we are called to sojourn to a better place.

.

OUR BIBLE ROLE-MODELS!

Look at Jesus!

Was this what His life on earth was all about?

Or just look to Paul! Was Paul trying to live out his declining years in a leisurely pursuit of personal pleasure?

No, but both of these men expended all their time and energy for the love and Salvation of all souls before them! And these two, Jesus, and even Paul, are to be our role-models, as Scripture plainly commands!

And listen to Paul’s declaration of what his life was all about…

“According to my earnest expectation and my hope,

that in nothing I shall be ashamed,

but that with all boldness, as always,

so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body,

whether it be by life, or by death.

For to me to live is Christ,

and to die is gain.”

Philippians 1:20, 21.

Do these words sound like they come from a man who sought to enjoy the pleasures and pursuits of this present life?

SINS OF SODOM REPEATED!

Through the centuries past, Christian parents encouraged their children to become evangelists.

.

Young people were content to live a life of poverty, working menial jobs, in effort to get out the soul-saving Gospel to all those who were starving for the bread of life. No sacrifice was too costly! No hardship too great, if only they could take the Gospel to the world!

.

But nowadays, Christian parents follow the self-seeking ways of the world, to a great degree, encouraging the same opulence and the same self-indulgence which ultimately destroyed the people of those wealthy cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, and the other surrounding cities!

.

And of course, along with a high-paying career, comes all the time-consuming, energy-sapping, and spirituality-draining obligations.

.

And by the time that young college grad finally gets his or her own self on an even-keel with their careers and family life, perhaps as much as ten or twenty years may have passed by; long ago leaving Jesus Christ back somewhere along the dusty trail!

SOME VERY GOOD NEWS!

Well, none of us can hold our heads up high, since we’ve often ‘dropped the ball’, so to speak, in our own parental responsibilities! None of us can judge any other human, since our own wisdom, like the ostrich, has been faulty and deprived in times past, and may even be still!

.

**Ah, but in all this bad news report, there has been discovered some extremely Good News, O stranger and pilgrim in the earth! Yes, we have a very merciful and pitying God who loves happy endings!**

.

Yes, if we will turn back to Him with all our heart, putting away all our earth-loving pleasures and worldly idols, then who knows if God might just begin to bring our grown-up children back to a rich and dedicated life in Christ!?

NEVER GIVE UP…NEVER!!!

And even the grandparents who have “blown it” in the past, can certainly rededicate our lives to a 100% devotion to Christ. And who knows if our rededication and prayers may save our loved ones?

THE HOLY-GHOST-RIDER CONSTELLATION

Here in the above condensed passage is revealed a tremendous Bible prophecy! Here the ostrich (being a symbol of the Church-Apostate) is going to lift up herself and scorn the horse and his rider.

Well, if we look in the winter-night skies, we might possibly have our eyes opened to see a most incredible constellation group, known as the “Horse and His Rider” Constellation Group.

And so, this above passage speaks of the time of the end (which we are just now in). And sadly to say, there will be many in the Church who will scorn this last message, just as the wisdom-deprived ostrich scorns the Horse and His Rider, who symbolize God’s Church in battle, being ridden by the Spirit of Christ! Such a sad ending for the Church-Apostate, to scorn the Holy Spirit: the same Spirit that they so often exulted in praise, with their lips!

This constellation group is made up of a number of smaller constellations: the horse’s head, made from the Perseus Constellation. The tail and rear end is partly of the Cassiopeia Constellation. The hind-leg is made partly of stars from the Andromeda Constellation. The Rider is made primarily from the Camelopardalis Constellation.

5th Head of Antichrist:

“The Man of Sin?”

.

“My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge”

Hosea 4:6

It gives no pleasure to disparage any particular denomination. But for the sake of declaring the whole truth, it must be done.

.

And because our public-school systems have long ago been taken over by secularists, Satan has had a free hand in scrubbing the history of the Church from history books.

.

Additionally, our public schools from the mid-twentieth century, have discarded all those reading books which once offered Bible stories, only to replace them with atheistic/socialistic reading material.

.

And all Christian children should have a good knowledge of the past 2,000 years of Church history and of the Protestant Reformation.

Well, most Christians are told by their teachers that some lone individual will rise up in the last 7 years of history (after the supposed “Rapture”) and deceive the whole world into believing that he is some sort of deliverer.

.

But really, when we read the 17th Chapter of Revelation, we discover that this composite Beast is made of mountains, kings, and kingdoms, as well as a body of four beasts, which Daniel explains are kings as well as kingdoms. (read and study Daniel, Chapter 7)

.

Now, to keep this devotional brief, let it be stated that the 4th head of this Beast and onward is concerning the ruling authorities during the New Testament era:

.

The 4th Head: civil Rome (which actually began prior to Christ’s birth, but last for several hundred years after His crucifixion).

.

The 5th Head: spiritual Rome (Catholicism, which arose out of the ashes of the fallen civil Roman empire),

.

The 6th Head: atheism,

.

And the 7th Head: apostate Christianity.

.

Now the reason for bringing these things to mind is for the sake of those who insist that this beast is a single individual.

But is the foretold Antichrist a single individual?

.

Well, in a sense they are correct.

This is because, for most of the New Testament era, the Church of Rome (the 5th Head of the Beast) was ruled over by a single individual, The Pope.

And any legitimate historical account will confirm that the Church of Rome, under Popish rule, became a tyrannical beast as it persecuted, tormented, tortured, imprisoned, and murdered many thousands, or perhaps even millions of non-Catholic Christians through the centuries of the New Testament churches.

And additionally, that same religious body aggressively attempted to destroy every Bible as well as those who possessed that beloved Book of books!

**But having said all these things, let it also be stated that Lucifer is the true “Man of sin”, as it is revealed in Isaiah, Chapter 14.**

Now, as we begin to understand these things, we can see just how complicated the Bible can be!

But for all those who are “Wise Men” on the upward Heavenward sojourn, we look upon all these things “narrowly” as Isaiah 14 counsels us.

And truth-be-told, the entirety of the churches and denominations have been swallowed up and assimilated by Babylon, the World.

.

And so, we don’t want to single out any one particular denomination, but realize that we must “Come out of her My people, that ye not partake of her sins, nor receive of her plagues”. Revelation 18:4

This above verse speaks of the entire corporate church-world, only to flee to the spiritual mountains of safety and refuge found in a full surrender to Christ and His Word!

As with many various things in fallen nature, cancer too, can provide a metaphoric portrait of how sin can destroy a once-thriving society.

Currently, The United States is suffering a type of spiritual cancer, which has progressively grown through the many decades of our history!

And so, one could say that this entire nation became a “cornucopian super-society”! And yet, little did we realize that the cancer of sin was silently, stealthily, but steadily growing.

Clueless to this malignancy, America was now in, “full party mode”!

**Via high-tech innovation, endless varieties of programs, mostly with, “a form of godliness”, and yet, void of true godliness.**

Oh yes, Christians could find shows which they imagined had enough goodness to entertain them and their children.

But through the decades, television steadily devolved, as well as radio, and Internet.

And the church-communities devolved along with them!

And the much-distracted church-community had ere-long fallen into a death-like slumber, and all the more as their leaders told them they would be “raptured away” prior to the tribulation.

And as atheists and secularists continued to grow in power over the government, they began to become increasingly intolerant of Christianity.

And through the decades, America’s cancer increased until it finally reached a “stage-4” level!

And all those nice secularists who previously slapped Christians on the back, inviting them to parties and social events, now began to greet them with frowns, disapproval, criticism, and censure.

And a large class of the citizenry, who still professed to love and believe in this nation, sadly and helplessly looked on, witnessing their once beloved nation, dying before their very tear-filled eyes!

Other nations also looked on, confounded and bewildered by this once-great nation’s current tragic demise.

DRAGON’S WAVE OF WATER

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

.

**However, the Dragon of Revelation 12 Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

.

But God has faithfully created this wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

.

Because this wave of water is basically comprised of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#’s 1 thru 7, in the sketch), and the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars, (#’s 8, 9, 10).

.

So in this wave, we see the same 7/10 numbering found in the Revelation description of the heads/horns/crowns of the Dragon.

.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

LOCATING THE REVELATION DRAGON CONSTELLATION

**The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.**

**The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.**

**This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull.**

In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.

And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.

The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades.

The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail.

This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail).

The are two more less bright stars which are closest to the Dragon’s mouth.

Unfortunately, the apostate portion of today’s church-world has not been taught to think of Bible prophecy in terms of prophetic time.

In other words, when they read in Revelation about “seven years”, all they can conclude is a literal 7-year period of time.

But the Bible speaks repeatedly about prophetic time in such places as Ezekiel 4:6…

This above verse is merely one example of how God prophesies.

And to miss this great truth is to make the same mistake which Old Testament Israel made in so many ways: to try to interpret Scripture literally when in truth it is a very spiritual Book!

Had the average Christian been thoroughly schooled in our Church history, they might have discovered that Revelation was written for the entire church-age!

And one thing which must be kept in mind, is that the Bible was written by God to have a sense of urgency about it.

Yes, God knew how easy it is for His people to become complacent and lethargic.

But also, in a very real sense, it has always been the Day of the Lord.

People do not realize how short time is in their individual lives.

And many lackadaisical Christians have not understood that the spiritual battle was and is raging all around us!

Thus, we have not entered into the battle, nor fully armored up with the armor of God!

This is one reason why God has veiled many of His prophecies within the prophetic day/year principle.

But the very Good News is, that God has mercifully and graciously allowed His professed people some time to put that armor on, and enter into the warfare which is raging all around us!

**This rather dim constellation follows behind that bright and beautiful star, Arcturus , as Arcturus leads a heavenly ambassage through the heavens each night in summer.**

Many crowns happen to be studded with precious jewels.

Well this heavenly crown is no exception!

And though these “jewels” are stars, they represent the precious jewels spoken of throughout Scripture, when speaking about God’s people.

**But this constellation is not nearly as high-profile as, say, the 7 Stars Constellation (a.k.a., The Big Dipper).**

It is relatively dim, compared to those two bright constellations.

LOCATING THIS CROWN…

This constellation begins to appear in late December (just before dawn), but is best seen, mid-sky when this group of constellations can be seen when facing west.

In March-April, very late in the pre-dawn hours, this Summer Constellation group begins to be seen when facing west, and continues to be seen in the west until fall.

.

**The Crown follows almost directly behind that great star, Arcturus, as you can see in the sketch.**

.

Repeat: it is somewhat easier to study the 12 stars of this constellation when it is in western half of night-sky (when you have to see it as you face westward).

.

**So when these Summer Constellations are in the western half of the sky, simply follow the handle of the Big Dipper till you locate Arcturus.**

.

**Then the Crown is following Arcturus.**

.

You will only see the wreath-like 7 stars plus 1 star (in middle) until you get away from all city lights.

.

Then you can make out the other 5 stars, which makes it appear like a full crown.

.

This constellation is a combination of both Corona Borealis plus several stars from the Bootes Constellation.

The stars, Alkalyroos-Bootis and the Delta-Bootis Star are both combined with the other stars from the Corona Borealis community, to make this 12-star (plus 13th star in middle).

A name which has little familiarity in today’s world is that of Roger Williams. (No, not that pop pianist recording artist.)

.

But perhaps only in Rhode Island is the name, Roger Williams, a familiar name, since he was the founder of that colony, later becoming that state.

RELIGIOUS INTOLERANCE

.

But Roger Williams discovered that the New World of America was fast becoming a place of religious oppression and intolerance by the rulers of the Puritan denomination.

.

And this was an unthinkable situation, since escaping religious persecution was a major reason why the European pilgrims came here in the first place!

.

FLEEING FOR HIS LIFE

.

But Roger William’s plea for religious freedom was not well received by those in power.

.

And soon, this righteous and principled product of God’s amazing grace had to escape for his life from the Puritan leadership for advocating these, “diverse and new and dangerous opinions” (info source: Wikipedia).

.

Thus, Williams had to suffer for nearly three months while escaping from authorities through the harsh winter in Massachusetts.

.

At times, a hollow tree became his nightly shelter from the frigid, snow-covered wilderness.

.

Finally, Williams was mercifully taken in by the Narragansett native Americans, no doubt enjoying his time with them until the spring thaw.

ROGER WILLIAMS: DEFENDER AND ADVOCATE FOR LIBERTY OF CONSCIENCE

Well, the rest is history!

Williams eventually rose up to become a well-known and highly respected defender of religious freedom, as well as a friend, defender, and evangelist to many Native Americans.

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

**However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

**The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).**

**And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).**

So we have this 7/10 numbering.

Europe had no excuse for their turning their backs on Christianity.

No, with the Reformation bringing in true Christianity, the people of Europe now could see what true Christianity looked like.

And they did see.

And they could hear those joyful hymns echoing through their villages each Sabbath.

And they could rejoice that the true Gospel was being faithfully preached from the pulpits.

And they could realize that Christians were meek and lowly of heart, and did not oppress others as did the apostate churches.

THE THIRD MOUNTAIN…CHOICE ‘C’…

This above verse is probably one of the most important passages in the Bible!

And probably one of the least obeyed!

Because, isn’t it true that it’s so easy in this world, to let go of good habits?

Yes, we make vows, and then we break vows!

Maybe we fall off our New Year’s diet!

Or fall off our daily workout at the gym!

Well, the list is seemingly endless regarding the things that we let slip away!

THE SIGNS OF HEAVEN

**God has placed a marvelous set of constellations in the night-sky to illustrate just what is at stake in the Christians, “good fight of faith”.**

Yes, there is a constellation named “The Glorious 12-Star Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation” (scroll to this page’s bottom to see more detailed information about this constellation)

.

And right next to this constellation is the Revelation 12 Woman Constellation, which features a woman-with-child grasping for that Glorious Crown!

FIVE WISE VIRGINS STARS

.

This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014.

.

It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.

.

Second, they appear to be gathered in front of The Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation. (just below Corona Borealis in this Wikipedia star-chart, in which the editor of this site sketched in these two constellations)

.

GATHERED AROUND GLORIOUS CROWN!

The position of these stars is significant in a number of ways. The first, being that these Five Wise Virgins are gathered around the 12-star Crown of Revelation 12.

And the obvious message here is, that these wise virgins represent the faithful portion of God’s Church.

And as wise virgins, they understand the importance of winning the glorious crown of victory, which Jesus promised.

.

Listen… “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all…

Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown;

but we an incorruptible.”

And so, God is showing us the difference between the wise and the foolish in His Church.

Perhaps, the greatest tragedy ever witnessed by mankind is how Europe turned its back on the Gospel of Jesus.

From once lovingly embracing the Christian Reformation to finally becoming a secular society, to now allowing itself to be filled with false religions, it is evident that God’s judgment has fallen upon those once highly favored nations.

REJOICING IN THE REFORMATION

Just think about how those nations once rejoiced in the truth!

Just think about how they once risked life and limb to get the Gospel out to the common people!

Remember how the invention of the printing press opened up the Bible and filled the hearts of the people with the soul-saving truths of God’s love!

NO MORE REJOICING IN THE TRUTH

But now, those same nations are no more filled with the joyful message of Salvation.

No longer do the people rejoice to hear those soul-saving words from the pulpit.

.

No longer do all the valleys and hills of Europe resound with bright and happy Gospel hymns.

.

Not many church buildings fill up with excitement and laughter each Sabbath day.

.

And instead of embracing the living Gospel of Jesus, these same nations are now beginning to embrace dead religions.

.

Thus is the fate of any nation which turns its back on the true Gospel.

And Europe is a sad monument to the tragic results of turning its back on the truth.

APOSTASY NOW COMING INTO FULL

And so, those nations which were the first to joyfully receive the Gospel, are now losing everything God once blessed them with.

So, what are we to do?

What are we to say to an angry, yet merciful God?

Here are the words that we are to say…

“the LORD hath afflicted me in the day of His fierce anger…

Come, and let us return unto the LORD:

for He hath torn, and He will heal us;

He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.”

A leading doctor in the field of vaccines was being interviewed about all the lies, embellishments, cover-ups, and misinformation coming forth during the pandemic.

And during the interview, this virus-expert noted the obsessive, even fanatical behavior by the leaders and press.

In other words, this doctor/scientist was amazed that so many had become extremists in their handling those lockdowns and mandates.

Well, many in the Christian community might rather analyze this pandemic phenomenon as being of a spiritual origin, just as these two above verses reveal…“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do”. John 8:44

After all, Ephesians 2:2 says concerning the earth’s inhabitants…

^…”Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,

The True Message of Revelation!

Part 2:

“Do Ye Not Hear The Law?” CONTINUED

“Therefore speak I to them in parables:

because they seeing see not;

and hearing they hear not,

neither do they understand.

And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias,

which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand;

and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:”

**In Part 1 (click here to read) it was mentioned that nearly 2,000 years ago, Jesus gave to the apostle, John, a revelation while John was on the island-prison called the Isle of Patmos.**

.

**And the name which God gave this message is The Revelation of Jesus Christ.**

.

And indeed, it is a revelation of Jesus, and how He works with His people, in overcoming the world and the god of this world, the Devil.

.

And so, Part 1 (click here to read) highlighted a few notable verses out of Revelation, which may give us the key to understanding that marvelous message.

7 CHURCHES: US!

Now in the Book of Revelation is found the messages to the 7 churches of Asia.

.

And in those messages are found two common threads, which occur in each message. In each letter, is found the following two messages…

.

1. “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches”

.

2. To him that overcometh…” Revelation 2 & 3

.

These two proclamations are found in each of the 7 letters.

SPIRITUAL EARS REQUIRED TO UNDERSTAND ALLEGORIES

But today’s devotional will only take our magnifying glass to the verses in Revelation which repeat the line…

.

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches” Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29 & 3:6, 13, 22

.

In these messages to the 7 churches, this admonition was given to each church, which seems to be the foundation of the Book of Revelation.

.

In other words, in the Book of Revelation, those 7 churches each received a personalized message from Jesus, in which allegorical language was used.

NEWSPAPERS & HISTORY BOOKS

But the problem is, that instead of studying the Bible, in hopes of unlocking the allegories, the vast majority of theologians and Bible teachers often study history books, or peruse newspapers in hopes of deciphering Revelation.

.

But rarely do they rely solely **on the true Bible method of comparing scripture with scripture, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual” to find out the true hidden manna veiled within the Book of Revelation.**

.

If they did, by the ear-opening power of the Holy Spirit, they would discover that Revelation is all about the Church and its relationship with Christ! (See 1st Corinthians 2:13)

NO EARS TO HEAR

So this is why today’s church-world has become spiritual Babylon, the City of Confusion.

It is because of our world-loving hearts, we do not have ears to hear so much of what the Bible truly has to say, not only in Revelation, but also in so much of the Old and even in the New Testament.

“ARCTURUS AND HIS SONS”

**So, what does this verse, “there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel”, have to do with us today?**

.

After all, this prophecy of Balaam (left) was fulfilled in the coming of the long-awaited Messiah, Jesus Christ!

.

Well, if a person will go out at night, starting in January, and continuing through the warmer months, they might locate the star, Arcturus.

.

**This star was spoken of in Job… “Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.**

.

This star is the host star for this Signs Of Heaven website.

.

And the star, Arcturus, also seems to fulfill the previous verse as well…“…there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel….” Numbers 24:17.

As earlier stated, this passage seems to find a double fulfillment, not only concerning Jesus, but also, as we look into the heavens.

This star just happens to lead an entourage of constellations, which span the spring, summer, fall and winter skies, telling the beautiful, wonderful Gospel story.

This is the only known place in all the Earth and heavens in which God has created a pictorial account of the Gospel.

And no, this has nothing to do with the Zodiac.

.

But this revelation showcases the biggest and brightest constellations in the heavens, revealing an entirely different interpretation of those constellations from that of the ancient Babylonian and other pagan culture interpretations.

…Crowley being a well-known Satanist from England, active during the 1st half of the Twentieth Century.

And through the last decades since then, Crowley has become a true cult hero (or better described, “an OCCULT hero”!)

Yes, Aleister Crowley has been the inspiration for rock-n-roll groups such as The Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Black Sabbath, etc., and also the role-model for many hallucinatory drug advocates over the past decades.

CROWLEY, “THE BEAST”?

The greatest evil of Aleister Crowley and other similar individuals throughout history, is that those who are unlearned and unskilled in the Word of Life, The Bible, tend to look at all this black magic and think to themselves, “Well, Crowley was truly an evil dude! And he was definitely Satan’s ‘Wing-man!'”

**Why, even Crowley’s own mother referred to her son as “The Beast”, a title which Crowley is said to have enjoyed, even as a young boy!**

Isn’t it amazing how fragile and even hysterical our societies have become!?

And one might even describe much of today’s turmoil as “Mass Insanity”!

Yes, it seems as though the Internet has become the breeding ground for a whole lot of anger, rage, hatred, and finger-pointing!

Many even describe all this current evil rhetoric as “The Internet Mob”, or “The Cancel Mob”.

.

And it’s truly amazing to see how cruel a large mob of people can get when they join forces under the cloak of anonymity, which the Internet so easily provides!

The name-tag given for this current-day phenomenon is, of course, “The Cancel Culture”.

GOD THREATENS US ABOUT JUDGING!

.

God tells us plainly…

“Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man,

whosoever thou art that judgest:

for wherein thou judgest another,

thou condemnest thyself;

for thou that judgest doest the same things.”

Romans 2:1

.

With such an indictment as this above verse points out, how can we still point the accusing finger at others?

.

Yes, whenever we point the accusing finger at somebody else, there are indeed, three fingers pointing right back at us!

.

And of course, the number “three” is the very number of the Godhead, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit….the Three ultimate Judges!

Another derogatory tag which has emerged, is to call someone a “snowflake”. And this term is used to describe college students who cannot tolerate hearing any opposing political viewpoint.

In other words, calling some student a “snowflake” is to say that they will simply “melt away” (not literally, but figuratively) whenever confronted by an opposing opinion.

Well, it’s too bad that society often hijacks so many good and wonderful aspects of Creation and stains them with a bad connotation.

Yes, it seems as if these little wonders have an endless variety of unique geometric designs: each of them beautiful in their own special way.

Well of course, setting aside the sheer beauty of the snowflake, these unique little creations can teach us lessons too!

Although this website has attempted to lay down biblical principles concerning how people should live, especially Christians, nobody should get the idea that God has only one cookie-cutter design for all humans.

Especially when it comes to one’s employment, or his or her choice of living quarters, none of us can make “a hard-and-fast rule-of-thumb”.

We’re just not smart enough nor are we wise enough to be the judge of such matters!

Or one person may require a new home, while another can be happy with just a little shanty.

One person can be a veritable “Apostle Paul”, traveling afoot through the land, while another requires a cottage by a pond.

Scripture warns…

“O My people,

they which lead thee cause thee to err,

But Isaiah warning was also for today’s churches, in which Jesus likewise warned…

“For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets…

…they shall deceive the very elect.”

Yes, in these last days deceptions have become so close to the truth, that even the very Elect can be deceived (but NOT to the point that the elect could ever lose their Salvation).

False Doctrine of, “Grammatical, Historical Method of Interpretation”

Well, today’s deceptions are such as “Eternal Torment”, and the so-called, “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.

And today, the vocal and popular personalities also now insist…

“You must interpret the Bible as literal as possible, unless context demands an allegorical interpretation”.

But this commandment is from men, and not from the Bible!

.

And this heretical church-doctrine has greatly stunted the spiritual growth of God’s people by locking them out of an understanding of a great portion of Scripture, including Revelation!

IS THE MARK IN, OR ON THE HAND AND FOREHEAD?

One example of this is found in Revelation 14, concerning the Mark of the Beast…

“And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice,

‘If any man worship the beast and his image,

and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand…'” Revelation 14:9

.

The King James version says this mark will be “IN”, not “ON” a person’s hand or forehead.

.

But most of today’s teachers promote many inferior modern versions which say it will be “ON” a person’s hand or “ON” a person’s forehead.

.

But does this idea carry any scriptural validation?

.

“A SIGN UPON THINE HAND…AS FRONTLETS BETWEEN THINE EYES”

To examine this debate, let’s examine a similar Bible issue…

“And these words, which I command…

thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand,

and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.”

Deuteronomy 11:18

.

Here above, the Lord is commanding His people to “bind” His law, “for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes.”

.

“But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries…”

Matthew 23:5

.

Now, God’s people of that day took this command literally, even making “phylacteries” containing the commandments which were worn upon the forehead.

They just couldn’t see the spiritual nature of Scripture, much like today’s situation.

.

But God was actually encouraging His people to write His law upon the tables of their heart (which is in the forehead)!

This way, His law might be the dominating force in what we think, but also, in what we do with our hands.

MARK OF THE BEAST: POLAR OPPOSITE DEUTERONOMY 11:18

Contrariwise, the Mark of the Beast works by the same principle:

…the ways of this selfish world are engraven upon the tables of unsaved hearts, resulting in selfish and worldly behavior.

This is the essence of the Mark of the Beast:

…and the Revelation 13 Beast hasn’t yet appeared!”

Satan has masterfully promoted these prophecy misinterpretations in such a way, that the vast majority of churchgoers will completely be deceived, when the time does come.

GOOD NEWS! A WAY OF ESCAPE!

Well, there indeed is Good News!

Because God, in His amazing grace, has allowed all those who wish to escape this awful judgment, “a way to escape”. 1st Corinthians 10:13

And we may plead with Him for that grace to begin to lock out the pollutions of the world…

…and begin hiding His soul-saving words in our hearts and right out through our fingertips!

.

And so, let’s use our remaining time here, shutting out as much as we can of all the vanity and wickedness on the media…

…and instead, sitting at the feet of Jesus, contemplating His precious life-giving words throughout our day!

We have everything to gain, and everything to lose!

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Rev. 12:3

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

**However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

**The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).**

**And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).**

So we have this 7 and 10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

In the above verse, a truer fulfillment has never existed until this very era in which images have now begun to speak.

These inventions were greatly designed to conform mankind into the image of Lucifer.

But not everyone has the same type of lusts.

**And so, “the god of this world” understands this duality and has designed these mediums to appeal to the varied minds of humans.**

For little children, foolish talk & joking may be more appealing. (see Ephesians 5:2, 3)

For teens, sexuality may have a greater appeal.

For others, it may be killing and revenge.

.

For still others, romance may be their desire.

.

Or various dramas for differing appetites.

.

Or faith-killing nature shows promoting evolution.

.

Or the hateful political news programs.

HEAVENLY or HELLISH ROLE-MODELS?

As most everyone in the Christian community understands, the Bible uses, not only Jesus, but mere mortals, such as Paul, to be role-models for Christians to admire and emulate.

But Lucifer fully understands this and has given us his own role-models in which to conform us into his own selfish image!

.

And so, the many ‘superstars’ seen and adored by the lost multitudes on a daily basis, become firmly etched upon the tables of human hearts!

And as a result, they eventually begin to emulate them, to some degree, in their own personal daily lives!

WINTER CONSTELLATIONS

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.

.

**Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story).**

.

Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon.

.

**And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to left).**

.

**But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.**

.

**The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.**

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).

.

**While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.**

.

It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.

.

**The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.**

.

The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here).

**The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch below left).**

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

And so, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

Thus there was an open-mindedness which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON

And this amazing constellation is comprised of various stars from several different well-known constellations. And this Dragon was created by God to reveal and confirm a great Bible truth regarding Satan and his war against Heaven.

And the wave of water coming forth out of the Dragon’s mouth is spoken of in more veiled terms in such places as Psalm 22:5, 6… “When the waves of death compassed me, the floods of ungodly men made me afraid; The sorrows of Hell compassed me about; the snares of death prevented me;”

So here we see that the Dragon’s wave of water is actually symbolic of Satan’s army of willing humans, who oppress the Church through means of false doctrines, oppressive dogma, and mind-indoctrination via various ungodly influences.
