What we really need to understand is this: the entire world is indwelt by the spirit of the world, the spirit of Antichrist…

Listen to 1st John’s assessment of the world…
“Ye are of God, little children,
and have overcome them (Antichrists):
because greater is He that is in you,
than he that is in the world.
They are of the world:
therefore speak they of the world,
and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us;
he that is not of God heareth not us.
Hereby know we the spirit of truth,
and the spirit of error.”
1st John 4:4-6

The, “whole world lieth in wickedness”, according to 1st John 5:19. And combined with this above passage from 1st John 4:4-6, these two passages reveal that the whole world is indwelt by, “the spirit of error”. And the spirit of error is the spirit of the world, which is the spirit of Antichrist.
And so, if 1st John 4:4-6 tells us that the world does not hear us, then how in the world can we expect to have much success when we witness to others? They do not have spiritual ears to hear us!

But as already mentioned, those who attend a worldly-minded church may enjoy much success, simply because they and their church are worldly! There will be lots of fashionable music, attractive people, soft and non-threatening sermons, with much laughter and comedy, combined with various enjoyable worldly-minded activities during the week! It’s a veritable 1st-class social club (with a thin veneer of religiosity)!

NO WORLDLY ATTRACTIONS MINGLED WITH TRUTH

But there are no worldly attractions and amusements for those who would be like-minded with such Bible figures as, say for instance the Apostle Paul.
.
No, you will never attract the multitudes when preaching the true and unvarnished Gospel!
Just imagine going into a big graveyard, and preaching the Gospel to all who are there in their graves! Well, unless there happens to be a gravedigger working nearby, nobody is going to hear you! They cannot hear you, because they are dead!
.
And the Ephesians 2:1, 2 reveals, “And you hath He (God) quickened,
who were DEAD in trespasses and sins:
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
.
This passage says just about the same thing that 1st John 4:4-6 says. But it also reveals that the world is spiritually dead! Oh yes, they are physically alive. But spiritually speaking, they are the walking/talking Dead!
It doesn’t matter who you are talking to: family, friend, foe, pastor, parishioner, or just about any and every person around the world! If a person has not yet received the Spirit of Truth, as spoken of in 1st John 4:6, then you might as well be talking to a dead person! They cannot hear you! Oh yes, they hear your words. But to them, your words have no meaning or relevance.

Listen to Jesus…“Why do ye not understand My speech? even because ye cannot hear My word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do.” John 8:43, 44.

This is God’s assessment upon this entire world! And this was our condition too, prior to becoming saved. Satan is, “the god of this world”! 2nd Corinthians 4:4. And this fallen angel/spirit-being is the spiritual father of all the unconverted inhabitants of this world!
The reason for this devotional is because too many of us Christians quite often try to argue other people into Heaven. And we tend to believe that others are made out of “the same cut of cloth” as we are!

But the truth is, the people of the world are made out of a completely “different cut of cloth!”
But we must understand that today’s Christians are like Abraham’s nephew, Lot, as he lived from day-to-day in Sodom. He was surrounded by a city full of spiritually dead walking/talking corpses!
.
And it was only after he and his two daughters escaped from Sodom’s destruction, did Lot truly understand just how depraved and spiritually bankrupt the citizens of the city actually were!
.
And it is no different today, than it was in Lot’s day! Yes, even though the various local congregations are filled with nice, polite and moral parishioners, it will be appalling when true Christians discover just how few of them will actually make the God-ordained exodus out of Spiritual Babylon, away from the harlot churches and congregations!
The best thing that a true worshiper can do in this present-day situation, is to spend copious amounts of time each day, sitting at the feet of Jesus, hearing His Word, and learning new verses.

And the more that His Words of Life begin to fill the heart, the closer will the Christian, “walk, even as He (Jesus) walked” (see 1st John 2:7).

And the more one reflects the image of Christ, the greater will be their witness to this spiritually deaf world!

They may not hear your words, but they will read you like a book! This is because you will be more-and-more transformed into a walking/talking, “epistle (of Christ), known and read of all Mankind”! 2nd Corinthians 3:2

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars. It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed. And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed. Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horses mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane). The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey. The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg. All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months. But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.

“HE THAT HATH EARS TO HEAR”
.
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22

As you can easily see, this horse has some very big ears. Of course, this presents a very big concept. And since this Rider represents the Holy Spirit, it is obvious that He is leaning close, as if to whisper His words in the horses’ ears. And so what is He (The Spirit) whispering in this horses ears? Well, primarily the messages to the 7 churches, found in Revelation Ch.’s, 2 & 3.

But not everyone has ears to hear. Listen to Ezekiel… “Son of man, thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.” Ezek. 12:2.Yes, the rebellion amongst God’s professing people was great, and they had all but closed their ears from hearing truth.

Well it’s the very same problem in the New Testament. Listen to Jesus… “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 7:16.
.
So this Rider whispering into this Horse’s ears is a heavenly picture of this concept… “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22.

Now the great lesson to be learned, is that there are certain truths, which those who are rebellious in God’s house, will not be able to hear. And these messages to the 7 churches are those very types of messages, that many “Christians” just do not like to hear.

And so, what is the bottom line. Well, it would be a very good idea, for each and every one of us to humble ourselves before God, and plead with Him to give us spiritual ears to hear these deeper truths which God is trying to tell us.
There are many Christians who are confused about whether or not to have secular friendships.
.
After all, so many other fellow church-members have no problem maintaining secular friendships.
.
And even the pastor encourages the parishioners to strike up “relationships” with unbelievers, with the hope of one day converting them to Christianity.
Well, in Part 1,this question was focused on. And various Bible verses were offered in support of avoiding secular friendships.

No, the Bible has some pretty strong warnings against making friends with unbelievers…
.
And the Reader is encouraged to read Part 1 (click here), to maybe get a better understanding of what the Bible has to say about having unbelieving friendships.
And so, just why does a Christian begin to have this fiery new desire for evangelism?
.
You see, when God puts His Holy Spirit within the heart of a true Believer, that person becomes a, “new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2nd Corinthians 5:17
.
Now, that new Christian no longer thinks like the world.
.
In other words, God has now “given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”Verse 18.
.
This simply means that our great desire has now become, to call all others to also begin to follow Jesus up that narrow pathway that leads Heavenward!
And while unbelievers are not to be considered as “unclean” when it comes to evangelizing them into Christianity; they are definitely considered “unclean” when it comes to Believers sharing in their worldly and ungodly ways.

The Bible clearly commands to avoid such relationships with unbelievers…
.
“Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers:
for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness?
Wherefore come out from among them,
and be ye separate, saith the Lord,
and touch not the unclean [thing]”
2nd Corinthians 6:17
.
Does the distinction become clear between evangelizing and fellowship? When evangelizing, we are trying to get them to eat of the Bread of Heaven. But when fellowshiping with unbelievers, we are partaking of their worldly fare: hence we are as though eating the unclean meat of sin!
Now, as already mentioned, there were many churches, and even some highly-revered old-time radio preachers that encouraged their followers to make personal friendships out in the world, so as to hopefully convert these unbelievers to become new church-members.

Well, that’s a nice-sounding idea!
.
But listen to God’s warning to Old Testament Israel…
“But if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you;
then it shall come to pass,
that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks (slivers) in your eyes,
and thorns in your sides,
and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell.”
Numbers 33:55
.
Yes, as this Old Testament verse warns, there is a price to pay for not maintaining a distance between a Believer and an unbeliever. And because Israel refused to obey this command, their nation was eventually destroyed.
.
And likewise today, those Christians who think they can convert their unbelieving “buddies”, will most likely find that they themselves are the ones who become converted: converted back into the world!
Here is something to consider. Do we ever read anything about secular relationships with our three greatest Christian role-models, Jesus, Paul & John?
.
No we don’t!
.
And yet they evangelized more successfully than any other persons on this planet!
.
These three role-models for the Church were so busy with their spiritual life (and daily duties), they had no time for secular entertainment, even had they wanted to!
.
And their only secular associations were with those who were seriously wanting to follow Jesus!
Listen to Paul… “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21.

Does this type of total devotion to Christ by Paul sound like something that would attract worldly friendships?
.
No, Paul’s only desire in life was to transform his own self into the exact image of Christ, so that his evangelism could be more perfect! And for an abject unbeliever to hang out with Paul would become far too distasteful for that earthly-minded, world-loving soul!
.
Listen to Paul…“To the one (an unbeliever) we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other (a true worshiper), the savour of life unto life.” 2nd Corinthians 2:16
And so, no longer do we have any desire to carry on worldly fellowship.
.
But now, because of the Spirit which indwells our heart, the glorious Gospel of Christ is always on the tip of our tongue. And we must oft-times restrain ourselves from speaking about Him when with unbelievers and even with worldly-minded churchgoers!
.
Yes, there must be a wise balance to maintain in our dealings with unbelievers, because, as the Wise Man counsels us, there is “a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;” Ecclesiastes 3:7
.
And just like Paul, we now have become “Ambassadors for Christ” to a world-in-rebellion against Heaven. (2nd Corinthians 5:20)
.
But all those in the Church who do not have this burning flame for evangelism must ask themselves the painful question, “Have I truly become a new creation in Christ? Or am I still just a person of the world? Am I really just kidding myself about my Salvation?”
Well, the very Good News is, that there is still time to turn to God, and ask Him for this wonderful Spirit of evangelism. There is still time to plead for a fiery new heart which burns with the desire to be an ambassador for Heaven!
.
And those who truly desire to become an evangelist, like Paul, should not cease crying out for such a wonderful gift until they actually do receive it!
.
And then, once that wonderful day arrives when we receive that same fervent Spirit that Paul had, all our questions will then be answered concerning whether or not we should maintain secular friendships.
.
And anyway, if God does actually bestow upon us the same fervent Holy Spirit that Paul had, the odds that any unbeliever would ever want to, “hang out” with us will be, at best, slim-to-none!
“I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Thy hand: for Thou hast filled me with indignation.” Jeremiah 15:17
.
As this above verse exhorts, the Christian too, will often experience loneliness or sadness, even as Jeremiah did, as he (or she) also refuses to join in with the mockery and folly of today’s world.
.
But as a “stranger & pilgrim” sojourning through this hopelessly dying world, the Christian must fix his eyes upon the heavenly Prize, knowing that one day soon, he or she will cross over that Black River, and into that Promised Land which rings with the sounds of singing, and with innocent laughter, and with everlasting joy…and everlasting friendships!
As the opening verse says, “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14

So what are these two gates all about? And how can I choose the right door? Well, just read this article and these questions and more will be answered.

One such damnable heresy has been dubbed by theologians as, the “Hermeneutic of Literalism”,or the “The Historical, Grammatical Method of Interpretation”.

What this means, is that a Bible student must only come up with a literal interpretation of any Bible passage, unless context absolutely demands an allegorical interpretation.
Oh yes, they will accept a few spiritual interpretations when context demands it.
.
But many radio teachers deride those who interpret the Bible spiritually as far as possible.
They actually make up derogatory names, such as, “Replacement Theologians”, to belittle those who interpret Scripture spiritually.
.
And with knowledge of these basic doctrines, these very convincing personalities continue to indoctrinate vast audiences with this anti-spiritual propaganda.
.
And as a result, at the mere mention of the unbiblical, derogatory name, “Replacement Theology”, their audiences often become hostile against anyone who dares to interpret the Bible spiritually.
Now a Bible student cannot just make “any ol’ spiritual interpretation” that he or she desires.
.
No, scripture must be prayerfully compared with all other similar scriptures, to discover what the Bible reveals to be the correct spiritual interpretation.
This can often be a painstaking process.
.
And yet, this is the false accusation used by many apostate theologians against spiritually-minded Bible students and teachers.
.
In other words, they often will accuse them of just dreaming up their own totally fabricated spiritual interpretation, saying, “They are just picking-n-choosing their spiritual interpretations out of thin air!”
Now those who have been seduced by this particular Hermeneutic of Literal Interpretation may not lose their Salvation over it, if they actually even have Salvation.

And yet, the mere fact that they have been deceived, just might be an indication that they have not yet become truly saved.
.
But one thing is for sure! By convincing the majority of Christians that they must follow this unbiblical hermeneutic, Satan has closed off a great portion of the Scriptures that God intended to be understood spiritually and allegorically.

MANY BIBLE STORIES ALLEGORICAL

Yes, many stories about Jesus are allegorical in nature.

And many other true, historical accounts, such as Samson, or Jonah, or Job, or Esther, or David, or any and every other historical accounts in Scripture, were orchestrated by God to be allegories concerning Jesus and His war against Satan!

These were all given by God to be prophetic in nature, as is written…“for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10

Vincent Van Gogh, one of the world’s most infamous artists, once cut off his ear (or part of his ear), to prove his love for a certain “women of ill repute”.

And so, his unsuccessful attempt to woo this adulterous women which he loved, left Van Gogh without his one ear (at least in part).
Now today’s society laughs at Van Gogh’s foolish “sacrifice of love”.

And yet, many Christians have cut off BOTH EARS for the sake of a certain harlot woman’s love!

Yes, many, or perhaps most of the professed people of God have made an even greater, “sacrifice of love” for a “woman of ill repute”, which is the Bible symbol for the apostate portion of the Church!
let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches…”

This above statement is repeated 7 times in the Book of Revelation.
It is a very enlightening statement because it reveals that there are those in the churches they do not have spiritual ears to hear God’s criticisms of His people.
Now the very Good News is, that the doors of Salvation are still open!
And all who can hear these letters, can call out to God for forgiveness and repentance!

Listen… “As for me, I will call upon God;
and the LORD shall save me.
Evening, and morning, and at noon,
will I pray, and cry aloud:
and He shall hear my voice.”

We must never give up crying to the Lord for deliverance, even in seemingly impossible circumstances!

RADIO & TV MINISTRIES DECEIVE THE NAIVE

Quite often, Satan will get unsuspecting and naïve ones to begin some humanitarian ministry.

Maybe some evangelistic crusade, or some food baskets to the hungry.
.
But the problem is, that Satan uses radio and television ministries to convince churchgoers that evangelism is the most important duty!
.
And so, such naïve and deceived listeners come away thinking that our Salvation is based on how many people we can save!
But the fact is, the purification of one’s own heart, to the conformity of the life into His likeness is infinitely more important than trying to save others!
.
Listen…
“Many will say to Me in that day,
‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Thy name?
and in Thy name have cast out devils?
and in Thy name done many wonderful works?’
And then will I profess unto them,
‘I never knew you:
depart from Me, ye that work iniquity.'”
Matthew 7:22, 23

Here is revealed that a vast throng on Judgment Day, who will be surprised!
“Dear Lord, Forgive me for thinking that my good works somehow make me righteous! Cause me to cease from these ungodly counterfeits and merely sit at Thy feet and learn of Thee…
This above command has always been a test for God’s people.

Even way back in the Garden, Satan caused Eve to add to God’s Word, adding, “Neither shall ye touch it”to God’s command, to not eat of that forbidden fruit!

And this addition contributed to the fall of Mankind! (see Genesis 3:3)

TOTALLY FABRICATED DOCTRINE

And in the Christian community, theologians have been guilty of adding doctrines which are not substantiated by “the Bible only”.

One such unsupported church doctrine which is that Mary and Joseph had a so-called “blended family”.
.
In other words, there are many who greatly desire to make Mary into a perpetual virgin.
.
But in order to do this, the idea was concocted that Joseph must have had other children from a previous wife!
.
And yet, the Bible never once gives the slightest intimation that any such prior relationship existed!
There is absolutely nothing in Scripture which demands or even suggests that Joseph had a previous family, prior to Mary and Jesus.
.
In other words, the integrity of the Bible is very much intact and preserved by Jesus having younger siblings, born of Mary.
.
There is no biblical necessity or rationale to insist on Mary and Joseph having two families.
.

END OF DISCUSSION

And there is absolutely no need to proceed with this debate, because there is nothing in the Bible that would lead us to any conclusion of Mary and Joseph having two families.

And any attempt to invent such a situation is adding to God’s Word, which is strictly forbidden by God!
“saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at My Word.” Isaiah 66:2

Listen, if only God’s people really trembled at the Word of God, like this above verse admonishes, there would be much less division and confusion in the body of Christ!

But throughout the past 2,000 years, churches and theologians have been responsible for many unscriptural additions and subtractions from God’s Word.

Thankfully, God has preserved his infallible Word, the Bible, so that we may correct our misunderstandings and false notions of the truth!

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ).

The invisible battle for the hearts and souls of humanity has always been raging!

Consequently, the Church has a veil over our faces which prevents us from discerning the deeper truths of God’s Word.
And so, the bulk of professed believers do not realize that the prophecies of Revelation are being fulfilled right before our very eyes.

Only, we have been spiritually blinded and cannot see this battle!

“Oh, no no no!!!”, confidently say they, “Revelation is for the literal Jews at some future time! You’re not of the twelve tribes! And you won’t even be around when all that bad stuff begins!”

Well, the very Good News is that none of us need to be wearing that veil!
.
If only a Christian will fall to his or her spiritual knees and beg and plead for God to open our eyes that we may “behold wondrous things out of Thy Law”, God would take away the veil which prevents us from seeing the spiritual nature of Revelation. (Psalm 119:18)
.
And then, with eyes open and armor on, we can pierce through that veil and enter into the battle now raging all around us.
This “Man in the Moon” is a fitting symbol of the watchfulness that we must have in order to resist the sin and deception that assails God’s Church…from without and from within…
…“Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth;
keep the door of my lips.
Incline not my heart to any evil thing,
to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity:
and let me not eat of their dainties.”

But this night watchman does not keep silent. No, he cries to the Lord over the atrocities he must witness each night…
…“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem,
which shall never hold their peace day nor night:
ye that make mention of the LORD,
keep not silence.”

So too, this 1st-face appears as if to, “sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof (of God’s City, Jerusalem).” Ezekiel 9:4
Just think about all the pleasures and pursuits that this modern-day world has to offer!

Just look at all the opportunities we have to carve out some little empire of our very own making!

Yes, in this present-day cornucopian super-society, any ambitious individual can start their own business, and eventually build their own little kingdom!

And it’s a type of frontier in which we can build a little empire of our very own making!
There are seemingly endless varieties of television shows and movies to be entertained by!

And with the aid of a remote-control device, I need only sit back and let “the god of this world” entertain me and my children with story after story!

Yes, one might call it, “Storybook-World”!

Well, you get the idea. This current-day world has been especially re-designed to keep its inhabitants busy, busy, busy in an almost endless variety of people to see, places to go, and things to do!

There are clubs to join…
…restaurants to frequent…
…coffee-shops to relax in…
…sports and amusements to engage in…
…resorts to visit…
…recreational vehicles to purchase…
…houses and gardens and lands to obtain…
…endless music to listen to…
…plays and operas to dress up for…
…sensual pleasures to indulge in…
…books to read…
…curious sciences to dabble in…
…and on and on and on it goes!

It truly can be said that we’re now living in a Theme-park World today!
And so, as new Christians, we begin our journey out of this selfish world, and onward and upward on the pathway up to the Paradise of God!

But Satan attempts to lure us back into the world by one or more of his pleasures and pursuits!
.
And so, the danger is, that we simply become so busy pursuing the things of the world, that we have little time nor inclination to take our Salvation seriously!
“Dear Lord, Lead me to that water of life, and make me to drink freely! And then, help me to keep my eyes looking ever-upward, so that the things of earth will grow strangely dim…
All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”
Mark 7:18-23

Please tilt your head slightly to the left.

Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look?

His right eyebrow is raised as if he is judging.

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox.

Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox?

Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad shock and awe; this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn.
Okay, so that’s a big and bold statement! But just look around at this world!

From cradle-to-grave, we are taught that we must depend upon our own strength to get things done!

And we are told we must depend upon our own intellect to solve our problems!
.
Yes, this is truly a Rosie-The-Riveter world in which the people attempt to live by their own strength and intellect, instead of trusting in God’s strength and His infinite intellect!
And an integral part of being a child of God, is to live by faith!
.
Yes, Christians have been called out of this faithless world, and given the commission to become “Ambassadors For Christ”, presenting to all onlookers, an example of Christlike love, purity, and FAITH. (see 2nd Corinthians 5:20)

WHAT IS FAITH?
.
But many new Christians today are asking the question…“Just what is biblical faith?
…And how do I live by biblical faith?…
…And where do I begin, to live by such a faith?”
.
Well, if a person would go to just about any pastor, and ask the question, “What is faith”, that pastor would direct him or her to Hebrews, Chapter 11.
.
That chapter has been aptly nick-named, “The Hall of Faith”, simply because it is filled with various examples of Bible characters who held on to faith, in spite of adverse circumstances.
And this “Hall-of-Faith”Chapter 11 begins by making the simple definition of faith…
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.”
Hebrews 11:1
.
Here is a concise, one-sentence definition of faith: to take hold of the things we know that God wants to give us, even before we actually receive them!
.
This is faith!
.
But the next 39 verses go on to mention the different individual acts of saving-faith which were exercised by some of the most notable characters found in Scripture: Abraham, Moses, Samson, as well as many others.
Now one of the great stumbling blocks that so often makes it difficult to live by faith, is that Satan has so completely immersed us in this faithless world to the point that our spiritual sensibilities have been greatly blunted!

Listen to Habakkuk’s description of our undone spiritual condition…
“Therefore the law is slacked,
and judgment doth never go forth:
for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;
therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.”
Habakkuk 1:4

Here it is discovered that Satan greatly destroys our Christian virtues by merely encompassing us by unbelievers on every side.

Because he fully understands just what a powerful influence our daily associations can be!

“QUENCH NOT THE SPIRIT”
1st Thessalonians 5:19

Listen again…“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33

Here again, God reveals that by carelessness in associations, Christians can actually quench the Holy Fire that burns within the soul!

And before long they unknowingly begin to devolve down into the same faithless lifestyle of the world!
Perhaps at the end of each day, maybe while lying down in bed (and all through the day), we need to spend much time thinking back on just what “exceeding great and precious promises” might have been employed.
.
Listen…Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
(2nd Peter 1:4)

Constant learning and hiding of the many Bible promises into our hearts is a critically important part of our daily walk in the Lord!
And this shaking will cause God’s people to cast away the idols which have preoccupied our thoughts up to this point in time.

And the apostate years of our idolatry have manifested themselves by our day-by-day, enthusiastic pursuit of the pleasures and cares of this selfish world…
.
…when instead we should be fully engaged in the purification and sanctification of our hearts!
.
And the world watches us!
.
Yes, God has called a people out of this rebellious world to become ambassadors for Heaven: messengers of mercy to a hopeless world imprisoned by sin and spiritual darkness.

BEHOLDING WICKEDNESS DAILY

For instance, to shut our eyes, and stop our ears from all the wickedness and violence in today’s world.

Yes, the world, as well as the worldly church, have little trouble beholding sin, via these high-tech devices.

As John Bunyan once put it, they can “drink down sin like water” and not be bothered by it!

And because of the ever-increasing immorality of these inventions, both society as well as Christians are being taken down, down, down into the bottomless pit of sin and selfishness!

Yes, because of our carelessness in choosing our associations, Christians have been derailed from seeking the face of the Lord with all our heart, soul, strength and mind.

Yes, even as Jonah finally returned to his calling from God to warn the citizens of Nineveh, so too must God’s people likewise return to our great commission!

And instead of partaking of our world-loving ways we must begin to proclaim to the world, the loud cry, “flee from the wrath to come!”…For “the great and terrible day of the Lord [has] come!”

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION

This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint and must be viewed on a very starry night.

Now those religious groups which are classified as “Christian cults” all seem to have fiery zeal to be distinctly different and separate from the other churches.

And so, because of their peculiar doctrinal beliefs, these so-called Christian cults all seem to draw the ire-n-rankling of the so-called “mainstream” Christian denominations.
.
Yes, these cults seem to be a veritable “lightning rod” for criticism, scorn, and mockery, from those who consider themselves to be “The Orthodoxy”.
But because the so-called “orthodox” denominations have their own particular heresies, Satan has used this as an opportunity to give those cults some actual biblical truths which mainstream Christianity has long-ago discarded.
.
Yes, mainstream Christianity has embraced some very old church-doctrines which have no biblical foundation, thus making them just as apostate as the so-called “cults” which they look down upon and scorn!
.
Such false unbiblical doctrines…
…such as “Eternal Torment”…
…”The Age of Accountability”…
…”Christmas”…
…”Easter”…
…”The Deity of Mary”…
…giving the Godhead the non-biblical title, “The Trinity”…
…the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”…
…”Free-Will Salvation”…
…the “Prosperity-Driven gospel”…
…”lying signs and wonders”…
.
…as well as other false doctrines, make the so-called “orthodox” denominations extremely toxic.
And so, Satan has used these false doctrines to his own advantage by causing the cults to reject those false teachings now embraced by mainstream Christianity.
.
And so, the cults point out mainstream Christianity’s heresies to their prospective new members, thus giving these cults an added element of truth, and enough credibility to convince those naïve prospective new members to join that “cult”.
And so, this master-deceiver, Satan, has ingeniously caused this doctrinal, “switcheroo”, between both these two major divisions in Christendom, creating a very confusing situation in both groups.

And beside the confusion, this switching around of doctrines gives impetus to both groups, as already just discussed in the above paragraphs.
Yes, the apostasy within the various denominations and organizations has reached the point of no-return.
.
All groups, both the so-called “orthodoxy”, as well as the so-called “cults” are so steeped in error and stiff-necked pride, that neither of the two groups will ever repent of their gross errors.
.
And so, God is now calling out to anyone who still has an ear to hear…
And God has made all necessary provisions for all those who do escape from Babylon, fleeing to the spiritual mountainous strongholds of God…
“And there shall be upon every high mountain,
and upon every high hill,
rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter,
when the towers fall.”
Isaiah 30:25.

Yes, there are abundant rivers and streams of living waters flowing upon those high mountains and hills!
.
And heaven manna too!
.
And God’s blessings have finally been taken away from the fallen towers (congregations and denominations) and are now transferred to the heavenly places of refuge, where God’s people must flee!

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), it was put forth that today’s churches have devolved into little more than social, fraternal organizations, with a thin covering of religiosity.
.
And the reader is encouraged to read Part 2 as a means of making this Part 3 more meaningful.
But the question that today’s devotional asks is this: “Are we to continue in church attendance, merely for the sake of providing our children with a more acceptable social environment?”
In other words, many caring parents are rightfully concerned with the current downward death-spiral of societal morality, combined with the meteoric rise of paganism, lawlessness, and sexual perversions which are now overspreading the land.
And so, most concerned parents do not want to come out of the apostate churches, fearing that their children will have no acceptable alternative environment to thrive in.
.
After all, there is still a certain degree of morality within many churches, even though many other “liberal” churches are, for the most part, aligning themselves with this ungodly society.
Listen to 2nd Timothy 3:1, 2, 5,6 describing the condition of the world, but also of the apostate church-world in these last days…
…”This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves,
covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers,
disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy…
Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:
from such turn away.
For of this sort are they which creep into houses,
and lead captive silly women laden with sins,
led away with divers lusts“

Now this is just a shortened version of the entire passage.

But the point of Paul’s admonition here was, that in these last days there will be perilous times in the world, but also in the churches (symbolized by the phrase, “silly women” 2nd Timothy 3:6)
ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth!”
2nd Timothy 3:6, 7.

Wickedness will abound in the form of ungodly behavior, such as covetousness, slander, sexual promiscuity, disobedient youths, etc., and…“a form of godliness” void of the Spirit of God.
Now this passage continues by saying that these “silly women” churches are never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
.
But what truth is it that they can never come to?
.
Simple, they cannot come to the point of realizing what is required for true discipleship and true Salvation!
.
Oh yes, Salvation is the gift of God. But the Bible explains just what are the evidences of true Salvation: a death-to-self, and a new heart from Jesus!
And so, week after week, month after month, and year after year, parishioners fill the pews for an hour or two of listening to moral, marital, and social-justice sermons.
.
But never do they arrive at the point of becoming “Born Again”.
.
Never do they realize that becoming truly Born Again is a total metamorphosis, receiving a new heart, new motivations, new desires, and completely new goals!
.
Yes, being Born Again means to be under the control of a completely different Spirit than that spirit which controls the people of this Antichrist world!
.
Nor can they come to the point of becoming a true disciple of Jesus!
And why is this? Why is it that most parishioners cannot even come to the point of becoming true disciples of Jesus?
.
Because it’s just as Jesus says in Luke 14:33…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.”
.
The sad truth is, that most parishioners today have never even become true disciples of Jesus, still clinging to this present selfish world, with its various treasures, and pleasures, and carnal desires!

THE LOBOTOMY

During the last century, there arose a popular medical procedure known as having a Lobotomy.

It was believed (for a time) by doctors, that by removing the frontal lobes of the brain, then that individual might be finally cured of all negative thoughts.

Well, obviously this theory didn’t work!

Doctors ultimately renounced this hideous practice, saying such things as…
“…the procedure was “contrary to the principles of humanity”, and “‘through lobotomy’ an insane person is changed into an idiot.”

MANY NEGATIVE THINGS

The Bible is a book that has many things to say, some happy and some sad.
.
For instance, the Book of Psalms has, roughly, about one-third happy things, one-third unhappy, and one-third neutral.
.
But also, the books of the prophets were largely concerning unhappy issues.
.
Even the New Testament is likewise filled with both happy and unhappy truths.
There are many microphones both on radio, as well as TV that will actually ridicule and badger all those Christians who trust that the Lord is in control of the goings on around the world, saying…
…”All you lazy Christians who just sit on your duffs,
are going to suffer the wrath of God for your lack of concern
The Bible is literally teeming with true historical accounts that should inspire confidence among Christians, that God is intimately involved in the affairs of life, both small and great!
.
Story after story in the Bible have one thing in common: that God is always working behind the scenes to accomplish His will among the inhabitants of earth!
.
Or, He may just decide to be up-front about things, like this great drawing of Moses, breaking the two table of stones!
Yes, God has given us our commission to purify our hearts and minds, and to transform our lives into His likeness!
.
In this way, our life will become a living epistle, known and read by all!
.
And by constantly beholding Christ as in a glass (a mirror), we will be changed, little-by-little, day-by-day, into His glorious image! (please carefully study 2nd Corinthians Chapter 3)
.
This transformation process is our great commission!
.
And this is a full-time occupation, leaving us no time for wringing our hands about the state of affairs of this world!
And yet, many Christians are skeptical against the idea that the day has truly come, in which the itching ears gospels have taken over the church-world.
.
Oh, they are aware that “those liberal churches over there” have become apostate.
.
But they just cannot believe that “My little conservative church here has also fallen from grace!?! NO!”
.
And yet, even those little congregations who may have been faithful to some degree, must realize that God’s Holy Spirit has been removed from the midst (see 2nd Thessalonians, Chapter 2:1, 2).

Has your life ever been made up of “5-year plans”, by which you will then, hopefully, find that happy and fulfilled life, which your troubled heart yearns for?
Oh yes, God’s rain falls upon the just and the unjust. He allows people times of enjoyment, and times of rest.

But the Wise Man once again pegged it correctly, when he said…
“Even in laughter the heart is sorrowful;
and the end of that mirth is heaviness.”

Yes, deep inside the human heart exists sorrow, turmoil, fear, uncertainty, and despair. And so, even in laughter, these sorrowful traits still remain deep within!
In this very short life, humanity strives to achieve some sort of earthly bliss, saying such things as, “If only I could purchase that quaint little cottage by that peaceful stream!”

“If only I could get that job promotion!”

“If only I could build up a big fat pile of money!”
.
“If only I could find that ‘dream-girl’ to marry!”
.
“If only I could lose weight, or, if only I could change my appearance, or, if only I could change my gender…or, If only, If only, If only…”

These are just a few of the many, “5-year plans”, which people promise to themselves, in attempt to find joy, contentment, and peace!

But after a lifetime of vain struggling, when the day arrives in which we finally give up trying to achieve happiness by our own strength…we then turn to the Lord…

And Jesus says…“Come unto Me,

and I will give you Rest.”

Here is the loving Savior, offering us a Rest, which the world can never achieve without Him.

THE UPWARD PATHWAY OF PEACE & JOY!

Oh, Jesus only wishes for us to sit down and begin reading (and/or listening) and learning about Him and taking His easy yoke of service upon us.

And by so-doing, we will ultimately find that joy, peace, and contentment which we have so greatly desired, yet could never achieve by our own strength!

But to learn of Him! That, my friend, is the upward pathway to peace and joy, now and forevermore!

By a simple reading of the New Testament, it is soon discovered that Jesus Christ, the very Author of Life, mostly spoke in parables!

Yes, Jesus, the greatest of all beings, and the greatest of all teachers, quite often taught spiritual lessons by use of types, shadows, symbols and allegories!
.
Thus, this one and only true Master of Divinity was constantly presenting spiritual truths through the many object-lessons found throughout nature!
For instance, John Bunyan, the author of “Pilgrim’s Progress” and “Grace Abounding To The Chief of Sinners”…

…he observed that both “clean” and “unclean” animals declared the glory of God by means of their distinct characteristics.
.
And so, he once observed that some clean animals, such as chickens and doves bob their heads forward when they walk, as a means of propelling themselves in a straight-forward direction.
.
And then Bunyan compared this to the Holy Spirit who propels Christians in a straightforward direction towards Heaven…
And Bunyan also observed that swine have split hoofs, symbolizing the parting ways from this world of sin.

And yet, that swine will continue to eat just about any and every piece of trash it possibly can!
.
And so (according to Bunyan), this seemed to symbolize those in the Church who claim to be circumcised-in-heart, and yet continue to consume all the filthiness and pollutions of this, the Devil’s world!

Yes, Bunyan observed that many self-professed Christians have the ability to, “drink down sin like water”.
.
Thus, Bunyan compared these hypocritical false brethren to swine!
.
They profess to love God, but their licentiousness only proves that their real love is for this, Lucifer’s sinful and selfish antichrist world-system!
And so, even though we are not to be “unequally yoked together with unbelievers” in the sense of personal relationships, yet we are commanded to share the Gospel with the unsaved of the world.

And so, please DO eat your pork in the spiritual sense, as God commanded Peter, by lovingly sharing the Gospel with the starving souls in this sad and hopeless and spiritually unclean world!

Yes, God’s very own people were dissatisfied with God’s Word because of its often-harsh sayings.

Now on the other hand, Satan is like that proverbial sinister-stranger offering candy to a naïve little child.

That is, this diabolical soul-murderer likes to hold out his own version of candy to gullible people…

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7 and 10 numbering.
.
And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
In the mid-Twentieth Century, there were certain people whom Satan, “The Prince of the Power of the Air”, used to bring Christian music into the current fashions of that day.

These certain men (and women) were musically gifted, and already somewhat successful in the secular music world.

And because they had no difficulty crossing back-and-forth between the secular music world and the religious music world, they had absolutely no problem mingling the two worlds together in their music!
Now heretofore, the music in the Church was still mostly sacred.

And this new music was not at first, totally accepted.

But these “new” musicians were totally dedicated to bringing Christian music “up-to-date”!

Well, as a result, much or perhaps most of today’s music is now a blend of quasi-Christian lyrics and earthy/sensual music.

HOLLYWOOD: FINAL NAIL IN THE COFFIN

Now of course, since that time, Hollywood had also jumped into the fray!

Yes, the movie industry has now churned out a number of movies which encouraged churches to throw off their traditional sacredness and reverence!

And these movies all happily conclude with those formerly “fuddy-duddy” old churches finally getting themselves an up-to-date, fashionable “make-over”.
And so today, the Book of Jeremiah, and other similar Bible accounts, are all finding their fulfillment in the current-day church-world.

Yes, Satan has successfully bridged the gap between the secular world and the Christian world, via this new, hybrid “Christian” music.
.
And the churches are filled with parishioners who vainly attempt to straddle between Heaven and Earth.
.
But such a compromised life can never gain God’s approval, but instead, has resulted in God’s Spirit being “taken from the midst” of this apostasy. 2nd Thessalonians 2:7

And this is the sad, apostate condition of today’s church-world.

GOOD NEWS?

Well, if there is any Good News in this very tragic report, it is that God is now calling His people out of this apostasy…

And though such a dreadful judgment upon the churches makes us very sad, we must obey God’s command to “Come out of her (Harlot Babylon), My people”.
Nevertheless, those who respond to God’s final call will be delighted to find a veritable spiritual feast awaiting them in the heavenly hill-country surrounding spiritual Judea (the church-world)

Yes, God has provided abundant living waters in the spiritual strongholds to which we must flee.

Now there are those who will object, saying, “Oh, there may be some apostate churches. But not my church! We are still faithful!”

And so, in addition to The Pleiades appearing as the Harlot Mother, we also see this second depiction of The Pleiades as an angel, which symbolizes God’s people, walking the downward pathway to destruction.

They must be called out of Babylon before it’s too late!
From this passage, we see that Mystery Babylon, a spiritual city, comprised of all the apostate Christian organizations which have persecuted God’s true Church through the ages
And yet, in spite of her destruction coming in one hour, the smoke of her burning, “ascends up for ever and ever”.

The problem is that those who are held in bondage within the apostate Churchjust cannot understand the deeper, allegorical truths, which God has locked up from their understanding.

Public schools beginning to promote “the sin of Sodom” to school children as if it is a wonderful thing!

And now, some school children are even claiming to be animals, such as cats, and their teachers are required to facilitate and encourage such insane fantasies.

Nevertheless, all this pandemic madness continues to grow as we continue to drink of that “cup of fury” from the Lord’s hand!

Oh yes, those European printing presses began churning out Bibles by the thousands.

And as a result, the apostate churches of Europe could no longer keep the great masses in spiritual ignorance.

At last, Christianity had triumphed over the Antichrist Beast of Revelation 13: that evil Beast-system which persecuted anyone who loved the Bible for so many centuries!

But alas, that deadly wound was slowly healed.

Oh yes, many people, today, still attend church on Sunday.
But gradually this former Sabbath (now changed to “The Lord’s Day”) is now filled with sports games, various shopping excursions, lawn-mowing, car washing, social get-togethers, picnics, television, and many other worldly pursuits.

Yes, the Enemy-of-Souls has successfully diverted us from Bible study/contemplation, prayer, and other holy duties, which were once a weekly requirement on each and every Sunday.

(btw, this article is not endorsing the so-called, “Sunday Sabbath”. It is merely pointing out that it has devolved into little more than a morning to attend church followed by a rapid return to worldly pursuits.)
And even many church services have been “dumbed-down”.

Yes, those old hymns are now replaced by syrupy-sweet, “worship” songs, with repetitive little catch-phrases, such as… “You are holy, You are holy, You are holy, and I praise you, praise you, and I adore You, I adore You, You are my God, You are my God, and I will worship you forever….”
.
And so, these new songs usually gave very little of the Gospel.

Yes, those old hymns were especially designed to give even little children a good foundational understanding of Salvation.
There is an abundance of so-called Christian television today, and churchgoers quite often keep some religious channel on 24/7 in their living room or bedroom.
.
One of the problems which stem from such a habit is that, for the most part, only “spiritual pabulum” is served up through the day.
.
Consequently, many viewers get only milk and seldom any strong meat from these shows.
The big problem with less expensive religious radio, is that much of the teachings are by “the natural man” who thinks that the deeper spiritual things are foolishness (carefully study 1st Corinthians 2:12-16).
.
In other words, most religious teachers on radio attempt to interpret the Bible as literal as possible.
They think that allegorizing is foolishness, unless absolutely necessary.
.
And so, for instance, when attempting to interpret the Book of Revelation, they cannot see nor understand most of the spiritual, allegorical nature of that prophetic Book.
.
Well, there are other problems with religious radio, such as preaching many false church-doctrines, such as “Eternal Torment” and the so-called “Pre-Trib Rapture”.
Now, the very Good News (and also very sad), is that God is currently calling out His people from the Harlot Babylon churches…
“Babylon the Great is fallen, is fallen…
And I heard another voice from Heaven,
saying, Come out of her, My people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

And once the Church-Elect has been winnowed from our former housing, we will find the vast riches which are reserved in the spiritual mountains surrounding “Jerusalem above, which is the Mother of us all!” (see Galatians, Chapter 4)

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).
.
It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
.
But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.

The fact is, the medical community has determined just what are the M.D.R. (Minimum Daily Requirements) and this has all been done as a result of the invention of vitamin pills!

Yes, the vitamin pill industry has supposedly developed all the pills necessary for our good health, as long as we take our Minimum Daily Requirements.
Of course, if a person is desiring to obtain maximum health, then common sense dictates a more, “wholistic” approach.

And what is the “wholistic” approach, you ask?

Simply put, daily exercise, proper healthy diet, pure water, ample sunlight, fresh air, proper rest, self-control, and whatever else may be beneficial for optimal health.

But the problem with this wholistic approach to health is, most people would rather just take a few pills: Minimum Daily Requirements!
But even today, there are so many confessing/professing Christians so lacking in hunger and thirst for the soul-saving words of life?

Jesus said in His infamous Sermon on the Mount, “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” Matthew 5:6
“he (the rich, young ruler) went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.”
Matthew 19:22
.
Jesus said regarding that rich young ruler…“So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My Disciple.” Luke 14:33
.
That young man would rather remain just a part-timer.
This way, he could still hold fast to his earthly passions and pursuits, and have Jesus too!

Unfortunately, such a half-hearted service will never work!
Now the very Good News is, that those of us who are WANTING MORE than a superficial relationship with Christ still have opportunity to cry out to Jesus for His wonderful Salvation!

Perhaps, the New Testament Book of James says it best…
“…whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world
is the enemy of God…
Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts, ye double minded…
let your laughter be turned to mourning,
and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and He shall lift you up.”
James 4:4, 8-10

Here is a passionate plea for total and wholehearted repentance from world-loving professors of Christianity!

And so, it now seems to be happening all over again with the western nations.

These very nations which once, so lovingly and enthusiastically embraced the great Reformation, have become licentious and idolatrous to the point that God must now deal with them as He dealt with ancient Israel!
.
And our apostasy and rebellion against Heaven has become such a worldwide proverb, that it is superfluous to even detail the various abominations which are now being committed here in the western nations!
“When righteous men do rejoice, there is great glory: but when the wicked rise, a man is hidden.”
Proverbs 28:12
.
But Proverb 28:12 is counselling us to hide ourselves because of the wickedness and trouble now descending upon us!
.
It’s the hour in which we must go into hiding!
.
But where can we run to?
And where can we possibly hide ourselves?
Are we supposed to construct some underground bunker?
Are we supposed to hoard away a great store of dried foods, and build up an arsenal of weapons and ammunition?

HIDE THYSELF, AS IF FOR A MOMENT!

Listen to the prophet, Isaiah, as God speaks through him, regarding this very hour in which we now find ourselves…
“Come, My people, enter thou into thy chambers,
and shut thy doors about thee:
hide thyself as it were for a little moment,
until the indignation be overpast.
For, behold, the LORD cometh out of His place
to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity:
the earth also shall disclose her blood,
and shall no more cover her slain.”
Isaiah 26:20, 21
.
Yes, there is a hiding place, a shelter from the storm in which God’s faithful ones must now hide.
A “safehouse” of sorts.

“SEEK RIGHTEOUSNESS…SEEK MEEKNESS!”

But just how do we enter into that “safehouse”, that cannot even be seen?

Listen, as God gives us the answer…
“Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth,
which have wrought His judgment;
seek righteousness, seek meekness:
it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.”
Zephaniah 2:3
.
This above verse lets us know just how we are to be hidden: by seeking meekness and righteousness!

But becoming meek and righteous are two very big words!
Because the Bible defines those two words in very many ways!

In other words, being righteous translates into our commission to become royal priests!

And as we are well aware, priests are to be praying and crying out for God’s Divine Providence, not only for our own self, but also for the needs, both physical and spiritual, of all others!
.
And meekness also includes allowing God to lead us, even as a gentle breeze, as we do His will through our each and every brand-new day!

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22

As you can easily see, this horse has some very big ears.
Of course, this presents a very big concept.
Holy Ghost Rider (above western horizon)
.
And since this Rider represents the Holy Spirit, it is obvious that He is leaning close, as if to whisper His words in the horse’s ears.
And so, what is He (The Spirit) whispering in this horse’s ears?
Well, primarily the messages to the 7 churches, found in Revelation Ch.’s, 2 & 3.
.
But not everyone has ears to hear.
Listen to Ezekiel…
“Son of man,
thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house,
which have eyes to see, and see not;
they have ears to hear, and hear not:
for they are a rebellious house.”
Ezekiel 12:2.
Yes, the rebellion amongst God’s professing people was great, and they had all but closed their ears from hearing truth.
.
Well it’s the very same problem in the New Testament. Listen to Jesus… “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 7:16.
.
So this Rider whispering into this Horse’s ears is a heavenly picture of this concept… “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22.
.
Now the great lesson to be learned, is that there are certain truths, which those who are rebellious in God’s house, will not be able to hear.
And these messages to the 7 churches are those very types of messages, that many “Christians” just do not like to hear.
.
And so, what is the bottom line.
Well, it would be a very good idea, for each and every one of us to humble ourselves before God, and plead with Him to give us spiritual ears to hear these deeper truths which God is trying to tell us.
There was a very popular song back in the 70’s, with some very ominous lyrics…
.
“I’ve been alive foreverAnd I wrote the very first songI put the words and the melodies togetherI am music, and I write the songs”.
.
[Chorus:]“I write the songs that make the whole world sing.I write the songs of love and special things.I write the songs that make the young girls cryI write the songs, I write the songs…
…I am music and I write the songs”.
.
Now these were just two stanzas of that song. But they give us an idea of just where this song was going.
.
It spoke of music as being a sort of eternal spirit.
.
And really, when you think about it, there may be more than just a little truth to that idea!
Now someone will say, “Well all that classical music is just a wonderful expression of the mankind’s sentiments, and aspirations, and sorrows and joys!”
.
Oh yes, but is it an expression of Mankind according to what the Bible says of Mankind?
.
But much of the world’s music expresses the selfish, the pride, the lust, the self-exaltation, the violence, the faithlessness and unbelief in God: and many more similar traits which mankind so greatly embraces!
“Dear Lord, Let me not be ignorant of Satan’s devices, in his role as, “god of this world”. But let me be, “as wise as a serpent” in regard to just what is behind all the so-called creativity and genius of this world…

For instance, those who watch more television/Internet than studying or contemplating the Scriptures have most likely made video-watching into one of our gods.
And let’s face it! People often resort to extreme measures in order to gain the respect of others!
.
And “the god of this world” has provided many different ways in which we humans can gain the respect of others.
(“the god of this world” reference: 2nd Corinthians 4:4)
.
We now have giant industries which exalt humans to an almost god-like status: the professional sports industry, the music industry, politics, the television and movie industry, and even religion, etc.!
And so, if Lucifer, who is, “the god of this world”, became the father of foolish pride, then what can we expect of his children? (1st Corinthians 4:4)
.
And so, owning some beautiful home, or an enviable automobile, or gorgeous apparel, or a coveted career, or having money, or just being the “baddest” dude on the block: it’s all the “god of Respectability” that we are worshiping!
.
And of course, it’s ultimately Lucifer who is that god we are truly worshiping!

One way that this modern-day phenomenon manifests itself is in how younger parents ignore the sage advice of grandparents in how to raise their children.
.
What the young parents do not take into account, is that grandparents, Christian grandparents, have seen many things in their longer life: things that young parents just do not realize!
One very important thing to remember is that when children are very young, they have not yet come into maturity: they have not yet reached the years in which the seeds sown in their hearts have come to fruition.
.
And so, when they are still very young, the children are mostly still easy to manage.
.
They do not yet display many character traits that will eventually be fully displayed by the time they finally reach their pre-adult years.
.
And so, it is quite often extremely difficult to give good advice to young parents, since they have not yet seen the fruit of their labors with their children.
And so, young parents will frequently set their children in front of that old standby babysitter, the television (and Internet), not realizing that these devices are usually sowing bad seeds into their children’s hearts.
.
Even the best of shows are usually quite secularized, and little-by-little, will dwarf the spirituality of little children.
.

FOOLISHNESS BOUND UP IN CHILDREN’S HEARTS
.
“Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child;
but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.”
Proverbs 22:15
.
And if this isn’t bad enough, the foolishness which is so often prevalent in many so-called, “innocent” shows for young children, keep many children from maturing properly.
.
And as we look around at society, it’s not hard to see that a great percentage of young people have not properly matured.
But these dangers are not usually yet noticeable in little children!
But just wait until they reach their teenage years!
.
And then those seeds which we have sown in our children during the formative years will eventually yield an abundant harvest when they finally reach their pre-adulthood years!
“Mine eyes do fail with tears…for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the sucklings swoon in the streets of the city.”
Lamentations 2:11
.
This above verse from Lamentations is a lament by Jeremiah because of Satan’s destruction of the Church, both Old Testament and New.
.
And God exhibits His sorrow through Jeremiah’s tears because of the lack of Biblical instruction among Children, symbolized by their “swooning in the streets” from lack of heavenly instruction.
.
And today, far too many parents are so invested in the pursuit of earthly pleasures and prosperity…
.
…that children are often left to themselves, to be largely educated by secularist programs and atheistic schools.
.

START SOWING GOOD SEED NOW!

And so, the encouragement today is for young parents to begin sowing good seeds into the hearts of young children.

And then it will be a joy to see, by-and-by, those good seeds finally yield a rich, fruitful harvest of goodness and virtue in their children!
This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ).

It is actually a headless woman in childbirth.
This is seen in springtime in the northern skies.
