In the not-too-distant future, the form of this presently fallen-antichrist-world-system will come to its final end.
.
And for those who persevere through the coming, “Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, there will be the final reward of entering into the Promised Land, which God has prepared for all those who love Him.
.
And it’s a wonderful land, in which the everlasting hills will resound with the joyful noise of laughter and of singing, and of distant bells ringing in triumph of life-everlasting!
Now, beside the great heavenly message that these heavenly signs reveal, could there be another reason for God wanting us to study these heavenly constellations?
Is it possible that God wants His people to familiarize themselves with this heavenly message, so that they might know where these signs are, as a literal guiding lights through the literal wilderness?
.
In other words, could it be that some, or perhaps some, or even many Believers, may be forced out of society, and into the wilderness?
.
And after becoming very thoroughly familiar with these constellations and stars, might the Believers have to navigate themselves through the wilderness?
None of us know exactly what’s in store for us in the near future.
.
But one thing is for certain: those who are truly wise men today, will follow these stars just as surely as those wise men of old, followed that guiding star which led them to the first Advent of Jesus.
.
And today, God is still leading wise men to follow the wonderful message which God is now revealing to all who will listen and receive it!
.
.
.
.
.
A SIMPLE ENCOURAGEMENT!
.
And so, today’s devotional is just another encouragement to get on-board with these signs in the Sun, Moon, and Stars, and let Arcturus spiritually guide us to our desired Haven of Rest!
.
And who knows all the reasons that God has, for giving us these wonderful “Signs…from Heaven”? Luke 21:11
.
.
.
.
“O give thanks unto the LORD,
.
for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.
.
Let the redeemed of the LORD say so,
.
whom He hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
.
And gathered them out of the lands,
.
from the east, and from the west,
.
from the north, and from the south.
.
They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way;
they found no city to dwell in.
.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
.
Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble,
.
and He delivered them out of their distresses.
.
And he led them forth by the right Way,
.’
that they might go to a City of Habitation.
.
Oh that men would praise the LORD for His goodness,
.
and for His wonderful works to the children of men!”

TODAY’S HEAVENLY SIGN
.
.
.
“there shall come a Star out of Jacob”…
Numbers 24:17
.
“Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea
.
in the days of Herod the king,
.
behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,
.
Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews?
.
for we have seen His star in the east,
.
and are come to worship Him.”
Matthew 2:1, 2
.
There exists a lot of intrigue regarding just what star did the Magi from the East follow, which led them to the First Advent of our Savior.
.
The Bible speaks of Arcturus as a possibility…“canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:33.
.
Arcturus may very well have been that star.
.
Nobody knows for certain, because God can perform miraculous deeds beyond anything we can conceive or even imagine!
.
In simple terms, there’s nothing that’s impossible for God! (Luke 1:37)
.
.
.
.
.
TYPE OF WISE-MEN OF OLD
.
But there is a much greater question which confronts Mankind today.
.
Because, just as a single star guided those wise men to the coming Savior, so also, God is just now giving us a star (plus many other stars), to guide us safely to the Second Coming of our Lord and Savior!
.
And so this starry guide (Arcturus) appears to be the type fulfillment of those wise men following the star, 2,000 years ago!
We must keep in mind, that those wise men of old, after spending countless hours searching the Scriptures, to see just exactly what and who those prophecies were pointing to…
.
…they then traveled through the deserts hundreds of miles to find the Messiah.
.
And so, am I willing to spend months praying and searching out this message, in light of God’s Word, to see if this message is the real thing?
.
In other words, am I truly the last-day fulfillment of those wise-men of old?
.
Am I willing to put out the same effort that those wise men of old put out, to discover the truth?
.
And with this message, you don’t even have to travel hundreds of miles!
.
But to really understand this message, does take a great deal of effort.
.
But wise men don’t mind that!
.
After all, that’s exactly the stuff that wise men are made of!

THIS STUDY #13 IS PRESENTED BY THE LATE HAROLD CAMPING, FORMER CEO OF FAMILY RADIO…
Well, just how do we get rid of our uncontrollable anger?
.
The only true way to get rid of anger is to be filled with the Spirit….
.
…”But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace,
.
longsuffering, gentleness, goodness,
.
faith, Meekness, temperance:
.
against such there is no law.”
Galatians 5:22, 23
.
As you can clearly see from this above passage from Galatians, the fruit of the Spirit are the very opposite of those attributes which produce “proud wrath”.
.
.
.
.
.
STOP THINKING I KNOW MORE THAN GOD
.
Now, an entire book could be written on this subject.
.
But this devotional will only focus on one very important aspect concerning overcoming anger.
.
And to illustrate that one aspect, maybe it’s best to quote Proverbs 3:5, 7…
.
…”Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;
and lean not unto thine own understanding…
Be not wise in thine own eyes:
.
fear the LORD, and depart from evil.”
.
If an anger-prone person could just live by this one passage, then there might be a great victory over angry outbursts.
.
Because so much of anger is caused by the mindset that, “I know what is best! And if you don’t perform according to my expectations, then my wrath will be kindled against you!”
.
Yes, this mindset is perhaps the biggest contributing factor in those who are constantly losing their temper.
So, if a churchgoer can begin to study God’s Word with the intent of following Jesus, and no longer trusting in their own self-will…
.
…then that angry person might cease from thinking that he or she knows better than everyone else.
.
And the more that we know about God’s will, as revealed in Scripture, the less we will insist upon our own way (see 1st Corinthians 13, 4, 5, ESV Version)…
Now the Good News is, that the true God of Heaven is willing to purify us from our love of pride and anger!
.
Yes, and the difficult times just before us has been designed for that very purpose…
.
Listen…“Enter into the Rock,
.
and hide thee in the dust,
.
for fear of the LORD,
.
and for the glory of His majesty.
.
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled,
.
and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down,
.
and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
.
For the Day of the LORD of hosts
.
shall be upon every one that is proud and lofty,
.
and upon every one that is lifted up;
.
and he shall be brought low:”
Isaiah 2:10-12
.
And those of us who are given to these proud and pernicious qualities, will be humbled and brought low in that Day!
.
.
.
.
.
WORK WHILE IT IS DAY
.
And those who do finally find meekness and lowliness of heart will now behave much differently than they once did, when they were still yet proud in heart.
.
So, while there is still a little time left, let’s pray for grace to use our allotted hours wisely, before “the night comes when no man can work.” John 9:4

Please tilt your head slightly to the left.

Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)
.
Do you see an angry look?
.
His right eyebrow is raised as if he is judging.
.
This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox.
.
Or maybe a wolf.
.
Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox?
.
Maybe even a dog.
.
Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.

God has placed two flower constellations up in the night-sky.
.
In the spring appears ‘The Flower of the Field’ (picture right).
.
But in late winter appears ‘The Flower of Heaven’ (picture left).
.
These two flower constellations present the two classes of people in the world: the “redeemed” souls and the “lost” ones.
.
.
.
.
.
.
“ALL FLESH IS AS GRASS, AND…THE FLOWER OF GRASS”
1st Peter 1:24
.
The fact is, most all of us begin life as a flower of the field…“As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.” Psalm 103:15
.
This and several other similar verses present this poetic analogy of Mankind.
.
Our very limited lifespan is like the grass, and our glory, our splendor, and our beauty are like a fading flower.
.
We begin life as a fresh new baby.
.
We grow up and flourish until about the age of 21.
.
But then, we slowly begin to deteriorate.
.
By the age of 30, we begin to show a few signs of aging.
.
And then, by 40 we become noticeably aged.
.
And from then on, the aging process seems to accelerate.
.
We eventually begin to bow down.
.
We might even lose some of our teeth.
.

You see, even though our mortal bodies are doomed, yet our soul does not need to die.
.
Yes, the One who gave His life and suffered on the hill called Calvary, has provided a way of escape for all those who place their implicit trust in His infallible Word of truth.
.
This is where that Flower of Heaven Constellation comes into play.
.
Yes, even though we begin life as an earth-hugging little flower, the Lord is able to transplant our heart and soul as a fruitful vine in heavenly soil!
.
And as we look up in late winter, the year-long progression of the signs written in the Sun, Moon, and stars, comes to its conclusion with this flower appearing as if clinging to the altar constellation!
.
While it once was doomed to die in its earthly condition as a flower of the field, it now has seemingly hitched a ride on this altar constellation in the sky, also seen in late winter.

THE BRIDE OF CHRIST AS A FRUITFUL VINE!

Of course this reminds us of Psalm 128:1-3…
…”Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD;
that walketh in His ways…
Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house:
thy children like olive plants round about thy table.”
.
In this above verse is a picture of a man’s family like living fruit trees.
.
And this man’s wife is like a fruit-filled vine by the sides of his house.
.
But also, here is a great portrait of Christ and His bride, the Church!

No, not the various denominations, but God’s elect and chosen ones: individual souls, saved by grace.

that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against …spiritual wickedness in high places…
Ephesians 6:10-18
.
.
.
.
.
Well, what more can one say than what this above passage already says?
.
To put on God’s armor, that we may be ready for battle against the spiritual forces which come against us.
.
Nevertheless, the Lord has inscribed this concept of the armor of God in the very night heavens!
.
Yes, Orion, that most infamous of all constellations has been clearly created to depict a soldier with a sword in his right hand, and a shield in his left hand.
.
.
.
.
.
.
THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON
.
But what or who is this soldier fighting against?
.
Well, if one looks to Orion’s left (just a little southward, slowly moving west each night), there appears a V-shaped cluster of stars.
.
This cluster is commonly known as the Hyades Cluster, but also the horns of Taurus the Bull.
.
And despite what the ancient pagans decided it should be, this V-shaped constellation actually was created by God to be the mouth of the Revelation 12 Dragon…
…”And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads…
And there was war in heaven:
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon;
and the dragon fought and his angels,
And prevailed not;
neither was their place found any more in heaven.”
Revelation 12:3, 7, 8
.
Here is the true heavenly picture which God placed in the night heavens long ago!
.
And this is a picture of Christ fighting against Satan, that crooked serpent spoken of in various places in Scripture.
.

PUT ON THE WHOLE ARMOR OF GOD
.
Well, the message in the Bible, but also in the night heavens is clear: “Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.” Ephesians 6:11
.
Yes, here is our heaven-sent marching orders: to armor up!
.
But how does one put on armor that we can’t even see!?
.
Again, the Word of Christ is replete with spiritual advice on this truth…
…”Through wisdom is an house builded;
and by understanding it is established:
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled
with all precious and pleasant riches.
A wise man is strong; yea,
a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war:
and in multitude of counsellors there is safety.”
Proverbs 24:3-6
.
Yes, it is through the knowledge of God’s Word, the Bible, that we are to make our war against the wiles of the Devil.
.
Our sword and our shield, our helmet, breastplate, and our girdle (clothing) as well as our Gospel shoes are tailor-made by means of hiding God’s Word in our hearts!
.
Even our wise counsellors should be such men as Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as well as Isaiah, Solomon, and all the other Bible penmen, all quickened by the Holy Spirit!

ORION GETS THE VICTORY
.
Now if you will stay up all night, you will see that the tables turn very dramatically for our three warriors.
.
This is because, as night progresses, and this constellation group moves to the west, God has designed this threesome to now be in the opposite circumstance.
.
Now it is Orion and his Horse who are atop the Dragon.
.
Now Orion is about to cut off the Dragon’s head with his two-edged sword, while the Horse is stomping on his tail.
.
And of course, there needs to be no explanation, because this picture tells the whole story.
.
Jesus wins in the end!
.
God’s people are victorious at last!
.
No wonder the Bible calls this story…“The Good News”!

You see, in the spring, if you look to the north, the constellation commonly known as Ursa Major actually looks like a headless woman who is with child.
.
And yet, as summer turns to fall, and fall turns to winter, this constellation slowly rotates until it is upside-down, now appearing as a running woman with upraised arms.
.
But as winter progresses, this running woman slowly begins to lean forward until she appears to be flying: flying westward.

THE REVELATION 12 DRAGON
.
But what about this serpent or dragon spewing water as a flood after the woman.
.
Well, that’s up there too, in the constellations Hyades (the dragon’s mouth and sharp teeth),
.
Auriga (the wave of water coming out of his mouth),
.
Pleiades, (his tail tassel),
.
…and Cetus (his back leg and fin).
.
And so, here is a heavenly picture of Revelation 12, which develops through the entire year as the world rotates in such a way to make this phenomenon play itself out to display the Revelation 12 scenario!
And the day is soon coming in which God will pluck us out of the miry pit, and set our feet upon a Rock, and put a new song in our mouth, even praise to our God! (See Psalm 40:3)
.
And on that day, it will seem as if we now have those much-anticipated wings as eagles!
.
And on that glorious day, we will wing our way into the narrow gate which will forever seal our victory over the sin, self, and Satan!

Well, the path to gluttony will undoubtedly lead my children to gluttony as well.

Luke 5:11
.
The Good News is, today is still the Day of Salvation!

“A SIGN…OF THE LORD…IN THE HEIGHT ABOVE”
Isaiah 7:11
.
“Ask thee a sign of the LORD…
in the height above…
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son,
and shall call his name Immanuel…
And there appeared a great sign in heaven; a woman…
And she brought forth a man child,
who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron:
and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.
And the woman fled into the wilderness,”
Isaiah 7:11, 14 & Revelation 12:1, 5, 6
.
Long ago, God made a promise in the Book of Isaiah, Ch. 7…“Ask thee a sign of the LORD thy God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above.”
.
Now just what sign could this be, that was either in the depth or in the height above?
.
Well, Isaiah continues…“Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”
.
Oh, okay. So, we know this sign was fulfilled in the depth, with the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.
.
But God also spoke of a sign in the “height above”.
.
So where is the fulfillment of this sign, in the “height above”?

A SIGN IN HEAVEN
.
“And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:” Revelation 12:1

Okay, so those in Berea were “more noble”, because they:
.
1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”
.
2.“And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”
.
And because of this excellent, open-minded Spirit, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.
.
Thus, there was an open-minded love for truth which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily…
.
…all in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

.
…and it wouldn’t even begin to equal the number of years that a Believer will live throughout eternity future!
P.S. – AFTER THIS EXPERIMENT IS FINISHED, YOU MIGHT WISH TO FIND A SPOT ON SOME TABLE OR SHELF TO LEAVE THIS SAND-FILLED JAR, TO BE AN ON-GOING REMINDER OF JUST HOW PRECIOUS AND WONDERFUL IS GOD’S GIFT OF EVERLASTING LIFE!
(And maybe, occasionally on someone’s birthday, redo this experiment as a reminder of how precious that gift of everlasting life is.)

THIS IS STUDY #9 IS PRESENTED BY THE LATE HAROLD CAMPING…
And he was given the gift of music composition! And during his ministry, he wrote lyrics to a number of hymns.
.
And one hymn which came from his pen was the song, Amazing Grace!
.
Yes, that great hymn by that slave-ship-captain-turned-minister-of-Christ, Amazing Grace, has had countless freed men now singing those beloved words, “…Was blind, but now I see!”, for over two centuries now!
Now, the great exclamation mark on John Newton’s life-story was that though he was once blinded by sin, but now was given eyes to see…
.
…spiritual eyes to see Jesus!
.
But even though most of us are appalled at that horrible practice of slave-trading, nevertheless we live in a world of slaves, held in bondage to Satan, who has blinded our spiritual eyes!
.
Listen…“But if our gospel be hid,
.
it is hid to them that are lost:
.
In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,
.
lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,
.
who is the image of God, should shine unto them.”
2nd Corinthians 4:3, 4
.
The fact is, the “god of this world” has blinded the minds of men.
.
And even though we would never dream of being such a merchant of human misery, as was Newton, yet we are every bit as blind as Newton once was, prior to conversion!
Now the reason for bringing all this into today’s devotional, is to relate it to the Signs in Heaven which are now being revealed in the Sun, Moon, and Stars!
.
The prophet Joel foretells in his fiery little book…
…”The earth shall quake before them;
.
the heavens shall tremble:
.
the sun and the moon shall be dark,
.
and the stars shall withdraw their shining…
.
for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible;
.
and who can abide it?”
Joel 2:10, 11 Condensed
.
Here it is prophesied that in the Day of the Lord, the heavenly lights will be darkened!
.

.
.
.
.
.
The sun and… stars shall withdraw their shining!
.
But though this passage is prophesying of the spiritual condition of those who are blinded by sin…
.
…it nevertheless explains that the Signs in Heaven, which God is just now revealing, also cannot be seen by many!
.
Oh yes, there are many who would love to see these heavenly signs, and yet, cannot!
.
They are simply blinded from seeing these incredible signs!
But the Good News is, that God has given these signs and their accompanying messages, in hopes that all will turn and cry out for eyes to see, and a heart to understand those messages!
.
And so, dear-soul-for-whom-Christ-bled-and-died, please begin reading this wonderful message!
.
And simply look for these signs in the heavens, as signposts given by God, to guide us safely into the Narrow Gate of Heaven!
.
And so, let each of us say, along with the Psalmist…
.
…”Open Thou mine eyes,
.
that I may behold wondrous things
.
out of Thy law.”
Psalm 119:18
.
And as this website proclaims, God’s Law is indeed written in the heavens!

He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:”
Matthew 3:11
.
And so, by putting these two verses together, there begins to be seen a much greater fulfillment to the idea of baptism: “the washing of water by the Word”, and the baptism, “with the Holy Ghost and with fire”!
Listen to this further revelation concerning baptism…
.
…”But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask.
.
Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of,
.
and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?”
Matthew 20:22
.
So, it begins to be seen that baptism now concerns the spiritual death and resurrection which a Believer experiences in Christ.
.

WASHING OF THE WORD!
.
Now in today’s Christian world, there is an emphasis upon literal and physical baptismin a literal tank of water.
.
But as already seen, this is merely a ceremony which is a type and symbol of the true baptism!
.
But just like the Old Testament people of God, who could not understand the true circumcision, we today are still not able to correctly discern the true baptism of the Holy Ghost.
And the Bible finally reveals that there is no spiritual value in circumcision!
.
Listen…“As many as desire to make a fair show in the flesh,
.
they constrain you to be circumcised…
.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing,
.
nor uncircumcision,
.
but a new creature.”
Galatians 6:12-15 (condensed)
.
Here is a revelation that the ceremony of literal circumcision has no spiritual value!
.
And today, there are millions of law-abiding, moral citizens, who become baptized in literal water, but who have never been baptized by the Holy Ghost!
And yet, the dying thief on the cross to the right of Jesus was told…
.
…”And Jesus said unto him,
.
‘Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.'”
Luke 23:43
.
This thief had obviously never been immersed in a tub of water!
.
And yet, because he had received the Holy Spirit’s baptism, he was ultimately saved!
.

.
FULL IMMERSION IN GOD’S WORD!
.
Dear Soul, if I fully immerse myself in God’s Word, allowing that Word to wash me from my old worldly ways, and my old ways of thinking, then I have the true baptism of the Spirit.
.
And the evidence of my Salvation is that I begin to increasingly walk, even as Jesus walked, more-and-more turning away from the vain and selfish pleasures of this sin-loving world!
.
So yes, this website endorses full immersionin God’s Word, by the indwelling power of the Holy Ghost!
And how can this be, that nobody has ever seen the
.
Pleiades as a constellation of a woman?
.
This article will discuss this great paradox of these two women, found in the Pleiades, and what it means scripturally to us: we who comprise the global community of Christians.
.
.
Because this constellation, or should we say Constellations, plural, have very much to do with us: those of us who are living right now on the threshold of eternity.
.
And as you might expect, the Bible holds the key to understanding all this.

One person put the prayer-life of a Christian in a very interesting context.
.
He said that prayer is like two teenagers who spend hours on the phone each day, to the point that there is silence for a while until somebody says something.
.
And then they talk for a while longer.
.
And then they are silent again for a while.
.
And this analogy of two teenagers talking on the phone for hours makes a lot of sense!
.
After all, we love our Lord.
.
And there is no greater privilege and pleasure than to talk with Him throughout our day.
.
And so, it’s like we never hang up!
.
We might even set the phone down and then come back to it to talk some more!
.
Another person said it like this: “Pray till you’re not even aware that you’re praying!”Have you ever done this?
.
Have you prayed so much, while you go about your daily duties, to the point that you, at times, are not even conscious that you’re praying?
.
The Phone Call – Wikimedia – public domain
.
.
.
.
.
OUR COMMUNION MAY GROW SUPERNATURALLY
.
Now it’s impossible to say just how our prayer-life will change as our relationship will grow in the coming times, just ahead.
.
As the Church rises higher and higher in these last moments on earth, our prayer-life may climb to supernatural heights, beyond what we now understand!
.
And so, to “pray without ceasing”may be fulfilled in ways we just cannot comprehend at this present hour.
.
But for now, this analogy about two teenagers having a seemingly endless phone call makes a whole lot of sense!
“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Rev. 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22
.
As you can easily see, this horse has some very big ears. Of course, this presents a very big concept.
.
And since this Rider represents the Holy Spirit, it is obvious that He is leaning close, as if to whisper His words in the horse’s ears.
Holy Ghost Rider (above western horizon)
.
And so, what is He (The Spirit) whispering in this horse’s ears?
.
Well, primarily the messages to the 7 churches, found in Revelation Ch.’s, 2 & 3.
.
But not everyone has ears to hear.
.
Listen to Ezekiel…”Son of man,
thou dwellest in the midst of a rebellious house,
which have eyes to see, and see not;
they have ears to hear, and hear not:
for they are a rebellious house.”
Ezekiel 12:2.
.
Yes, the rebellion amongst God’s professing people was great, and they had all but closed their ears from hearing truth.
.
Well, it’s the very same problem in the New Testament.
.
Listen to Jesus… “If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.” Mark 7:16.
.
So, this Rider whispering into this Horse’s ears is a heavenly picture of this concept… “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;” Revelation 2:7, 11, 17, 29, 3:6, 13, 22.
.
Now the great lesson to be learned, is that there are certain truths, which those who are rebellious in God’s house, will not be able to hear.
.
And these messages to the 7 churches are those very types of messages, that many “Christians” just do not like to hear.
.
And so, what is the bottom line.
.
Well, it would be a very good idea, for each and every one of us to humble ourselves before God and plead with Him to give us spiritual ears to hear these deeper truths which God is trying to tell us.

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves;
if God peradventure will give them repentance
to the acknowledging of the truth;
And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil,
who are taken captive by him at his will.”
2nd Timothy 2:25, 26
.
Notice that the above passage declares that it is God who gives a man repentance.
.
Does this above verse give any hope that we can somehow pluck our own selves out of Satan’s web of deceit and sin?
.
Do we imagine that we can somehow create in our own heart, the Spirit of repentance?
.
No, repentance is the gift of God, as the above passage makes perfectly clear.
.
Listen again… “if God peradventure will give them repentance…”
.

GOOD SHEPHERD FINDS US
.
“For thus saith the Lord GOD;
Behold, I, even I, will both search My sheep,
and seek them out.
As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day
that he is among his sheep that are scattered;
so will I seek out My sheep,
and will deliver them out of all places
where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.”
Ezekiel 34:11, 12
.
No, God is the Good Shepherd who comes searching for His lost sheep in the cloudy and dark day.
.
God is the One who finds us in places of danger and destruction.
.
He is the Good Shepherd who takes His rod and staff, and hooks us, pulling us up into the safety of His everlasting arms, and carries us on His shoulders back to the sheepfold.
Salvation is the gift of God. “All we like sheep have gone astray”, says the Scriptures. (Isaiah 53:6)
.
.
.
.
.
.
TODAY’S PRAYER…
“Dear Lord, Help me to understand that my Salvation is a gift and not something that I discovered. Help me to understand what the Good Shepherd did for me…
This star-chart to the left, from Wikipedia, has Orion The Reaper sketched in by the editor of this website.
.
But with the addition of a single star, Theta Geminorum (the left hand of the Castor twin of Gemini), the sickle in Orion, the Reaper’shand (sketch to left), now extends the blade, thus transforming that sickle into the hook of a shepherd’s rod and staff.
.
And so now this little Gemini star becomes the tip of Orion’s Shepherd’s rod & staff.
.
Thus, with this additional star, Orion the Reaper Constellation now becomes the 5th personality of Orion: The Good Shepherd (sketch below right).
.
Theta Geminorum is a class A3, 4th magnitude star, which means it is much fainter than either of the stars, Castor or Pollux.
.
But faint as This little star may be, it nevertheless presents a giant concept, turning Orion’s sickle into a shepherd’s rod.
.
And this is a very wonderful and beautiful Bible truth: namely, that Jesus is the Good Shepherd, as is written…
.
“As a shepherd seeketh out his flock
in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered;
so will I seek out My sheep,
and will deliver them out of all places
where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.”
Ezekiel 34:12
.
And so God has placed this Starry Shepherd in the winter-night heavens to remind us of His great love for a planet which has wandered away: just like sheep that wandered to where the grass looked greener.

Just think about how the marvelous little butterfly is such a wonderful symbol of the Christian’s experience!
.
And this is because, for the butterfly to exist, it must be “born again”.
.
And so too, before a person becomes born again, we are like that little caterpillar, stuck down here, eating of the things of earth, things of the world!
All our lives, pushing ourselves along, going to-and-fro, hopelessly eating all those vain & fleeting pleasures of selfishness!
.

TWO SETS OF LEGS
.
Now here is an interesting fact!
.
You see, normally many caterpillars have two sets of legs: one set of six, and another set of ten.
.
And thus, it is with unsaved mankind.
.
Man forever pushes himself along by his own strength, represented by those six legs.
(“six” being the number of “Man” (see Revelation 13). But “six” also being the number of “human works”, “Six days shall you labor and do all your work” Exodus 22).
.
But unsaved man tries to be moral at the same time.
And such a futile life of human works only multiplies his guilt and frustration!

.
.
“all the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come.”
Job 14:14
.
And so then, after struggling along in this vain religion for much too long, the day finally arrives when he fully realizes that it’s time for a change!
.
And so, this little worm climbs up on a leaf, or a twig of a tree, and almost miraculously he creates a chrysalis!
.
And then begins a struggle.
.
And then begins a metamorphosis.
.
And thus, is set in motion a miraculous phenomenon!
.
This little caterpillar worm enters this death-stage.
.
But this is a death which will ultimately lead to life anew!
.
This is because that little worm completely changes into an entirely different creature!

THE CHRISTIAN CHRYSALIS
.
Now, as already stated, this Chrysalis stage can easily be compared to the struggle in which the earth-bound human gets tired of trying to keep the Law by his own strength!
.
He wants Heaven, but he realizes that he can’t have Heaven, while still clinging to earth, clinging to the world!

SO WHERE ARE THE “MULTITUDES”?…
.
So where are the multitudes in this constellation?
.
Well, if you look at this sketch to the right, carefully, you will see an ENTIRE GALAXY making a slow trek up the steep slope toward the summit of one of the mountains.
.
It is the mountain which is to the north in this sketch.
.
This is the galaxy commonly called Andromeda.
.
It is estimated to have possibly a trillion stars!
.
Is a trillion stars a big enough multitude? Oh yes!
.
Listen to God talking to Abraham…
.
.
“And He (God) brought him (Abraham) forth abroad,
and said, Look now toward heaven,
and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them:
and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.”
Genesis 15:5
.
But this mountain in which this multitude of stars is climbing represents a very awesome and wonderful Bible concept.
.
This mountain in Scripture is known as Mount Zion.
.
And it is also known as the Mount of Blessing.
.
It represents that spiritual mountain which Believers must climb, in order to reach the City of God.

THIS IS STUDY #7 IS PRESENTED BY THE LATE HAROLD CAMPING…
The problem with many of those devotionals is that they tried so hard to be cleverly written, that the message just might have been lost to a certain degree by all that complexity and linguistic filigree.
.
Not only so, but today’s church-world has become a veritable, “City of Confusion” by all the countless winds of doctrine blowing in every-which-direction.
This devotional series attempts to cut through the thick fog of confusion which has settled heavy upon the Christian landscape, with bright beams of sunlight from Heaven.
.
And as far as being uplifting, there is nothing like truth to set one’s soul free…
…”If ye continue in My word,
.
then are ye My disciples indeed;
.
And ye shall know the truth,
.
and the truth shall make you free.”
John 8:31, 32
.
Yes, it is the eye-salve of God’s plain truth that will remove our foggy vision and even our total blindness!
.
And because we have been so badly misled by the prosperity-driven gospels of our day, it is the plain words of God’s truth that will lead us out of our Babylonish captivity.
And so, the reader is encouraged to keep up with these daily devotionals, in spite of the negativity so often presented (And to be fair, most of these daily devotions end with a positive and uplifting encouragement.)
.
But let’s not be like the people of God back in Isaiah’s day which complained to the prophets…
…”Prophesy not unto us right things,
.
speak unto us smooth things,
.
prophesy deceits:”
Isaiah 30:10
.
The people back in Isaiah’s day wanted nice and smooth teachings.
.
They didn’t like Isaiah’s negativity.
.
Nor did they like Jeremiah and the other Old Testament prophets.
“MANY OF HIS DISCIPLES WENT BACK. AND WALKED NO MORE WITH HIM”
John 6:66
.
And for that matter, neither did they like what Jesus had to say…
…”Many therefore of His disciples,
.
when they had heard this,
.
said, ‘This is an hard saying; who can hear it?’
.
When Jesus knew in Himself that His disciples murmured at it,
.
He said unto them, ‘Doth this offend you?’…
.
From that time many of His disciples went back,
.
and walked no more with Him.”
John 6:60, 61, 66.
.
Yes, many professed followers and disciples of Jesus did not like those more difficult and negative things He was preaching, and actually turned away from following Him!
““And, lo, thou art unto them as a very lovely song of one that hath a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear thy words, but they do them not!”
“Ezekiel 33:32
.
And let’s face it! All those nice, flowery, and uplifting devotionals have not accomplished what they were intended to do.
.
All things considered, the Church has grown weaker and more worldly with each passing decade, in spite of all the devotionals now available!
.
And the apostasy continues to deepen and widen!
.
And indeed, things have gotten so bad that God is now calling His people to...
“Dear Lord, Give me a love for truth, so much so, that I begin to search the Bible for truth, no longer listening to these “feel-good” preachers of the prosperity-driven gospels…

You see, God is in charge of these Signs Of Heaven! This is His message!
.
And as you probably already know, God is not much interested in merely tantalizing people’s curiosity, by showing them some curiosity out there in space!
.
That may be the way that “itching ears” type ministries work!
So please begin to take in as much as you comfortably can, each day! Maybe even just one article per day, at the very least!
.
Most of the concepts on this website are very basic Bible doctrines.
.
And the Reader needs to read all related articles, especially on the controversial topics, in order to get the complete context of what is being presented.
.
In other words, this heavenly message cuts though all the fog of confusion which lays heavily upon the Christian landscape today, and makes the pathway to Heaven very easy to see.
And don’t worry so much about seeing these signs right now!
.
The important thing at this point, is to first let the Bible truths declared in this website, take hold of us, filling our heart with the holiness, with the purity, and with the great love of Jesus for all Mankind!
.
And then, if it is God’s good pleasure to open up these heavenly signs for you, then this will put the ultimate exclamation mark on this message!
.
May God richly bless your endeavors!

THIS IS STUDY #2 IS PRESENTED BY THE LATE HAROLD CAMPING…
You see, what most of us do not fully realize is that this little verse, to “look up, and lift up your heads”, holds the key to Christian victory!
.
Yes, it is fully time for Luke 21:28 to be implemented in the Christian’s life!
.
So, the question you’re probably asking is this… “How in the world am I supposed to never look back down to earth, when I have so many worldly obligations?”
.
.
.
.
.
EARTHLY OBLIGATIONS!
.
Yes, that’s the big question… “How am I supposed to never look back down to earth, when I have so many duties pressing upon me daily?”
.
Well, the answer is quite simple!
.
If I am truly looking upward by the power of the Holy Spirit, then even though I am down at the office, or at recreation with my family, Heaven is before my eyes spiritually-speaking!
.
Of course, this is a supernatural experience!
.
And this is a growing experience.
.
But it will happen if I really desire it to happen!
Now of course, if I am single, and free of debt, then there will be little in the way of obstacles to prevent me from inculcating these practical lifestyle changes into my everyday life.
.
But if I have family obligations, then I am pretty much like Daniel the servant, in the courts of Babylon!
.
In other words, I have a great amount of worldly obligations!
.
And yet, like Daniel, I can still balance those worldly obligations with my spiritual obligations!
.
And like Daniel, I can still focus my mind’s eye Heavenward, even though I am living in the midst of Babylon!
“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse”
2nd Timothy 3:13
.
And, truth-be-told, as the horrible state of affairs in the world continues to grow worse and worse, it’s getting harder and harder to look down at this poor sick planet.
A few weeks ago (May, 2014), as I was walking, one night, along a nearby Canal, I noticed a group of stars in a slight oval position right next to the Beautiful 12-star Crown.
.
And these stars were maybe even a little brighter than the Crown.
.
Now because they were even distanced from each other and in such a definite oval pattern, I became somewhat bothered.
.
After all, in my human thinking, I didn’t like that crown to have such tough competition, from this unrecognized group of stars.
.
But a few days later, it came to me that those stars represented the Five Wise Virgins from Matthew 25.
.
And that slight oval pattern represented their gathering around the Glorious Crown, giving the Crown the attention it deserved.
.
In other words, it is only true worshippers of God who highly esteem the crown of victory which awaits those who persevere with Jesus to the very end!
.
Then, as I kept considering this new phenomenon, I began to realize that these Five Wise Virgins were gathered at the feet of the Sign of the Son of Man Constellation, just as Mary Magdalene sat at Jesus feet to hear His Word!
.
And so, this realization gave further credence to these stars representing the Five Wise Virgins.
.
But after a few more nights of watching this, I then realized that these five stars might even be the five toes of Sign of the Son of Man Constellation!
.
And so, this meant that the crown represented the heel of that Son of Man, as He hung on the Cross.
O NOBLE BEREAN TRUTH-SEEKER, YOU ARE ENCOURAGED TO BEGIN FOLLOWING THIS 650+ AUDIO BIBLE STUDY THROUGH THE BOOK OF JEREMIAH EACH DAY ON THIS DAILY DEVOTIONAL.
.
THIS IS STUDY #1, PRESENTED BY THE LATE HAROLD CAMPING…
There is much babylonish confusion in today’s churches, concerning the Book of Revelation.
Oh yes, most teachers agree among themselves that the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” is going to occur just prior to a 7-year tribulation in which God is going to pour down His plagues upon all rejectors of His grace during that period. And most Bible teachers agree that the last 19, or so, chapters, concern literal Jews living during that period, since all gentile Believers will have been raptured away!
.
But the confusion in all this is because most teachers and preachers do not understand how to rightly divide the Word of Truth, when it comes to The Revelation of Jesus Christ. Oh well yes, they certainly claim that they interpret The Revelation by means of “The Bible Only”, but this is simply not true! If they were using the Bible only, they would have come up with a much different interpretation than all their newspapers and history books provide! For one thing, most teachers get their opinions from reading the books of the most celebrated authorities around today, resulting in a general consensus between them, concerning The Revelation.
.
But through most of the church age, or at least through the centuries of persecution by the dominant church of Europe, our Christian forefathers saw The Revelation as a spiritual book, unfolding its prophecies throughout those Dark Ages. They saw the tyrannical Church of Rome and its leader as the Revelation Beast, as it tried to stamp out the Bible as well as those who loved that wonderful Book of books! It wasn’t until the Mid-Twentieth-Century that the so-called “Futurist” school of thought really began to grow wildly popular. The Christian community began to forget about the bloody persecution against Christians throughout the Dark Ages, once the persecution ceased. But of course, many teachers today will engage in “Double-Speak” in effort to deny the earlier beliefs of the persecuted Church of those centuries past. Or maybe, they might cite some obscure ancient writings which seems to bolster their weak defense of their now popular, “futurist” position.
.
But the entire Book of Revelation must be seen as a spiritual Book. A Bible teacher must always be “comparing spiritual things with spiritual” as 1st Corinthians 2:13 commands us to do.
.
Now both websites (Signs Of Heaven & Devouring Fire) have many articles which interpret various portions of The Revelation by using “line upon line, precept upon precept” as we are instructed to do in Isaiah 28:10. And every one who considers his or herself to be “A Noble Berean” should explore these many articles daily to “see if those things were so”, as it says in Acts 17:11
.
For example, The Book of Revelation speaks of “The Tree of Life” in Revelation 22:2…”In the midst of the street of it (The New Jerusalem), and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
.
Now the general consensus among theologians is that this is speaking of a future time in The New Jerusalem in the New Earth. And of course, this is correct that the Tree of Life will be there.
.
But we must remember that the Bible is a spiritual book. And as we search the rest of the Bible, we see that The Tree of Life is spoken of in a number of other places.

By opening and using a PayPal account, you agree to comply with all of the terms and conditions in this user agreement. The terms include an agreement to resolve disputes by arbitration on an individual basis. You also agree to comply with the following additional policies and each of the other agreements on the Legal Agreements page that apply to you:
Please read carefully all of the terms and conditions of this user agreement, terms of these policies and each of the other agreements that apply to you.
We may revise this agreement and any of the policies listed above from time to time. The revised version will be effective at the time we post it, unless otherwise noted. If our changes reduce your rights or increase your responsibilities we will post a notice on the Policy Updates page of our website and provide you at least 21 days advance notice for personal accounts and at least 5 days advance notice for business accounts. By continuing to use our services after any changes to this user agreement, you agree to abide and be bound by those changes. If you do not agree with any changes to this user agreement, you may close your account.
Opening a PayPal Account
We offer two types of PayPal accounts: personal PayPal accounts and business PayPal accounts, both covered by this user agreement.
Buy things online, using mobile devices or in stores.
Make payments using your credit card, debit card, bank account, or other payment options, including funds held as balance in a business PayPal account (if we have verified the required identifying information you provide to us) or funds held in a PayPal Cash or a PayPal Cash Plus account linked to a personal PayPal account if you choose to open a PayPal Cash or a PayPal Cash Plus account. The term “Cash Account” in this user agreement will be used to refer to either a PayPal Cash or a PayPal Cash Plus account. More information about Cash Accounts can be found in the PayPal Cash and PayPal Cash Plus Account Terms and Conditions.
Accept credit card, debit card, bank account, Cash Account and other payment methods from others.
You are responsible for maintaining adequate security and control of any and all IDs, passwords, personal identification numbers, or any other codes that you use to access your PayPal account and the PayPal services. You must keep your mailing address, email address and other contact information current in your PayPal account profile.
Personal PayPal accounts
If you primarily need to make purchases and send money to family and friends, a personal PayPal account is probably right for you. With a personal PayPal account you can do things like:
Send and request money from friends and family.
Buy goods and services.
You can also use a personal PayPal account to receive money for the sale of goods and services and hold that money in a linked Cash Account or transfer it to a linked bank account or debit card if you do not open a Cash Account, but if you plan to use your personal PayPal account primarily to sell things, you should open a business PayPal account. You can also convert your personal PayPal account to a business PayPal account should circumstances change.
Business PayPal accounts
We recommend business PayPal accounts for people and organizations that primarily use PayPal to sell goods or services or accept donations, even if your business is not incorporated. With a business PayPal account, you can do things like:
Use a company or business name as the name on your business PayPal account.
Allow employees access to some of the features of your business PayPal account.
Business PayPal accounts may be subject to fees that differ from the fees applicable to personal accounts.
By opening up a business PayPal account or converting a personal PayPal account to a business PayPal account, you certify to us that you are using it primarily for a business or commercial purpose. You also consent to PayPal obtaining your personal and/or business credit report from a credit reporting agency at account opening and whenever we reasonably believe there may be an increased level of risk associated with your business PayPal account.
Commercial Entity Status
If the activity through your business PayPal account reaches certain thresholds or involves certain business segments or activities, you are required by the card networks to agree to a Commercial Entity Agreement to allow you to continue accepting Visa and MasterCard payments. In this case, these Commercial Entity Agreements will apply to any payment processed by PayPal on your behalf and will form part of this user agreement.
Closing Your PayPal Account
You may close your PayPal account and terminate your relationship with us at any time without cost, but you will remain liable for all obligations related to your PayPal account even after the PayPal account is closed. When you close your PayPal account, we will cancel any scheduled or incomplete transactions. If you have a Cash Account linked to a personal PayPal account, you must withdraw or transfer any funds held in your Cash Account before closing your personal PayPal account, and closing a personal PayPal account will result in PayPal automatically closing any linked Cash Account. If you have a business PayPal account, you must withdraw or transfer any balance from your business PayPal account before closing it, and if you have not provided the required identifying information to us, or if we are unable to verify the required identifying information you provide, you must transfer any balance in your business PayPal account to a linked bank account or debit card. You cannot withdraw or transfer digital gift certificates/cards that are purchased through PayPal Digital Gifts and linked to your personal or business PayPal account as payment methods. However, even without your PayPal account, you can still use the codes you received by email when you purchased the gift certificates/cards to make purchases.
In certain cases, you may not close your PayPal account, including:
To evade an investigation.
If you have a pending transaction or an open dispute or claim.
If your PayPal account has a negative balance.
If your PayPal account is subject to a hold, limitation or reserve.
Link or Unlink a Payment Method
You can link or unlink a credit card, debit card, a U.S. bank account or PayPal Credit to your PayPal account as a payment method. You can also link a Cash Account to your personal PayPal account as a payment method and unlink the Cash Account by withdrawing all funds and closing it. Please keep your payment method information current (e.g. credit card number and expiration date). If this information changes, we may update it using information and third party sources available to us without any action on your part. If you do not want us to update your card information, you may remove your payment method from your PayPal account. If we update your payment method, we will keep any preference setting attached to such payment method. You may choose to confirm your card, so that we can verify that the card is valid and that you are the card owner. To do this, we will charge $1.95 to the card. After the card is confirmed, we will immediately refund this amount to the card.
Receiving Funds, Holding a Balance or Transferring Funds
Personal PayPal accounts
Money sent to your personal PayPal account cannot be held as a balance in your personal PayPal account. When you receive money to your personal PayPal account, you can:
transfer the money via a standard transfer to your bank account linked to your personal PayPal account for free;
transfer the money via an Instant Transfer to an eligible debit card or bank account linked to your personal PayPal account, subject to the fees applicable to such transfers that can be found on the Fees for Transferring Funds (for personal PayPal accounts) table and that will be disclosed to you in advance each time you initiate such a withdrawal;
request PayPal to send the money to you by check (subject to a non-refundable fee of $1.50, which will be deducted from the amount of the withdrawal). If you request a paper check from us, you must cash it within 180 days of the date of issuance, or we will return the funds to your linked Cash Account if you have one or hold the funds on your behalf and retain the non-refundable fee of $1.50. We will not send a check to a post office box, and we will only send a check to an address once we have confirmed that it belongs to you;
open a Cash Account to hold the money as a balance in your Cash Account for purchases or to transfer funds to friends and family members. A Cash Account is separate account from your personal PayPal account. If you open a Cash Account, we will automatically link your Cash Account to your personal PayPal account. More information about Cash Accounts can be found in the PayPal Cash and PayPal Cash Plus Account Terms and Conditions.
You also cannot transfer money to your personal PayPal account to be held as a balance in your personal PayPal account. You will need to open a Cash Account to hold the money as a balance in your Cash Account, which can be used for purchases or to transfer funds to friends and family members. More information about Cash Accounts can be found in the PayPal Cash and PayPal Cash Plus Account Terms and Conditions.
Except as provided below, any balance in your Cash Account and any funds sent to you which have not yet been transferred to a linked bank account or debit card if you do not have a Cash Account represents an unsecured claim against PayPal and is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
PayPal is not a bank and does not itself take deposits. You will not receive any interest on the funds held with PayPal. PayPal combines your PayPal funds with the PayPal funds of other PayPal users and invests those funds in liquid investments in accordance with state money transmitter laws. PayPal owns the interest or other earnings on these investments. These pooled amounts are held apart from PayPal’s corporate funds, and PayPal will neither use these funds for its operating expenses or any other corporate purposes nor will it voluntarily make these funds available to its creditors in the event of bankruptcy.
If you have a PayPal Cash Card debit card as part of a Cash Account, have enrolled in Direct Deposit, or have established Goals in PayPal, such funds will have pass-through FDIC insurance as further detailed in the PayPal Cash and PayPal Cash Plus Account Terms and Conditions.
Business PayPal accounts
Money sent to a business PayPal account can be held directly as balance in the business PayPal account. The balance functionality in your business PayPal account will differ depending on whether we have been able to verify the required identifying information that you provide to us.
The required identifying information is:
For sole proprietorships: name, physical address, date of birth and taxpayer identification number; or
For other types of business legal entities: business name, business address, taxpayer identification number, and proof of business existence.
If we have not verified the required identifying information, a balance in your business PayPal account can only be held in your business PayPal account and transferred to a linked bank account or debit card or you can request PayPal to send you the money by check (subject to a non-refundable fee of $1.50, which will be deducted from the amount of the withdrawal). Your balance may also be used to fund payments or money owed to PayPal, such as payments on your PayPal Working Capital account or monies owed for refunds or chargebacks.
If we have verified the required identifying information, a balance can be held in your business PayPal account, transferred to a linked bank account or debit card, used to make purchases or send money to others.
If you have a business PayPal account and we have verified the required identifying information that you have provided to us, you may transfer money to the balance of your business PayPal account from any bank account linked to your business PayPal account by requesting an electronic transfer from your bank account. If we have not verified the required identifying information that you have provided to us, you cannot add funds to your balance in a business PayPal account.
You can withdraw balance from your business PayPal account by:
transferring it via a standard transfer to a bank account linked to your business PayPal account for free,
transferring it via an Instant Transfer to an eligible debit card or bank account linked to your business PayPal account, subject to the fees applicable to such transfers that can be found on the Fees for Transferring Balance (for business PayPal accounts) table and that will be disclosed to you in advance each time you initiate such a withdrawal,
withdrawing it from an ATM (automated teller machine) if you have a PayPal-branded debit card (fees may apply), or
Requesting a check from us (subject to a non-refundable fee of $1.50, which will be deducted from the amount of the withdrawal). If you request a paper check from us, you must cash it within 180 days of the date of issuance, or we will return the funds to your balance in your business PayPal account and retain the non-refundable fee of $1.50. We will not send a check to a post office box, and we will only send a check to an address once we have confirmed that it belongs to you.
Any balance you hold in your business account represents an unsecured claim against PayPal and is not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).
However, the claim against PayPal represented by your PayPal funds is not secured by these investments and you do not have any ownership interest (either legal or beneficial) in these investments. These pooled amounts are held apart from PayPal’s corporate funds, and PayPal will neither use these funds for its operating expenses or any other corporate purposes nor will it voluntarily make these funds available to its creditors in the event of bankruptcy.
Restrictions on transfers or withdrawals from PayPal accounts
To protect us and our users from loss, we may delay a withdrawal, in certain situations, including if we need to confirm that you have authorized the withdrawal or if other payments to your PayPal account have been subject to a reversal (for example, as a result of a chargeback, bank reversal or dispute by a buyer). If we place a limitation on your PayPal account, a payment is subject to a hold, or your account or an associated account has a negative balance in any currency while a withdrawal from your PayPal account is pending, you will have to reinitiate the withdrawal once the limitation or hold has been lifted, or negative balance is fully paid off.
We may set limits on your withdrawals, and you can view any withdrawal limit by logging into your PayPal account. Completing two out of three of the following steps can help us verify your PayPal account, which may allow us to remove any withdrawal cap:
Verifying your bank account.
Linking and confirming your credit or debit card information.
Providing your social security number.
Managing Your Money in Multiple Currencies
Holding currency other than U.S. dollars
Your balance in your business PayPal account or in your Cash Account, if you have one, may be held in currencies other than U.S. dollars.
If you hold a balance in your business PayPal account or in your Cash Account:
We may allow you to convert the funds to balance in another currency. If you convert funds in your account, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) will be used. We may, at our discretion, impose limits on the amount of money you can convert or the number of conversions you can perform.
You may only withdraw the funds in U.S. dollars. In order to withdraw funds in your account held in another currency you will have to convert the currency to U.S. dollars, or it will be converted for you at the time of your withdrawal. PayPal’s currency conversion rate, including our currency conversion spread, will be used.
To receive money in a currency your account is not currently configured to accept, it may be necessary to create a balance in your business PayPal account or in your Cash Account, in that currency or convert the money into another currency. Certain currencies can only be received by converting the money into another currency that PayPal allows you to hold. If the money is converted, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) will be used.
You are responsible for all risks associated with maintaining multiple currencies in a PayPal Cash Account or business PayPal account. You may not manage or convert multiple currencies for speculative trading purposes, conversion arbitrage, conversion options, or any other activity that PayPal determines is primarily for the purpose of gaining or making money based on currency conversion rates. PayPal may hold, cancel, or reverse any transaction we determine to violate this policy.
How we convert currency
If PayPal converts currency, it will be completed at the transaction exchange rate we set for the relevant currency exchange. The transaction exchange rate is adjusted regularly and includes a currency conversion spread (described below) applied and retained by us on a base exchange rate to form the rate applicable to your conversion. The base exchange rate is based on rates within the wholesale currency markets on the conversion day or the prior Business Day; or, if required by law or regulation, set at the relevant government reference rate(s).
For some uses of your PayPal accounts, PayPal may determine currency conversion is necessary. For any of the following transactions that involve a currency conversion, the currency conversion spread is 3.75% or such other amount as may be disclosed to you during the transaction:
Paying for goods or services in a currency other than the currency the goods or services are listed in.
Sending money to a friend or family member such that they receive a different currency from the currency you pay in.
Sending money using PayPal’s Payouts or MassPay products such that your recipients receive a different currency from the currency you pay in.
For all other transactions involving a currency conversion, the currency conversion spread is 3.0% or such other amount as may be disclosed to you during the transaction.
Currency conversion choices
When your payment is funded by a debit or credit card and PayPal determines a currency conversion is necessary, you consent to and authorize PayPal to convert the currency in place of your debit or credit card issuer. You may have the right to have your card issuer perform the currency conversion, if applicable for that card issuer and network. Currency preference selections may be presented to you in various forms, including a choice of which currency is used for the transaction, whether PayPal or your card issuer performs the conversion, or which conversion rate is used for the transaction, and may be made available individually for each card and for each automatic payment agreement. If your card issuer converts the currency, your card issuer will determine the currency conversion rate and what fees they may charge.
PayPal will always perform the conversion for transactions where your Cash Account balance, business PayPal account balance or linked bank account is the payment method.
Account Statements
You have the right to receive an account statement showing your PayPal account activity. You may view your PayPal account statement by logging into your PayPal account. If you have a Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account, you will receive two statements: one showing all transactions in your personal PayPal account and an additional statement showing only transactions involving your Cash Account.
Sending Money and Buying
Sending Money to a Friend or Family Member
Sending money
You can send money to a friend or family member using the send money feature in your PayPal account (sometimes called “personal payments” or “peer-to-peer/P2P payments”). You can send money to a friend or family member even if they don’t have a PayPal account at the time you send them money, using their email address or mobile number in any currency that PayPal supports, and you can choose which payment method you want to use. If the person to whom you are sending money does not have a PayPal account, they can claim it by opening a PayPal account. If they don’t claim it, it will be refunded to you.
We may, at our discretion, impose limits on the amount of money you can send, including money you send for purchases. You can view any sending limit by logging into your PayPal account.
When you send money to a friend or family member who has a PayPal account, one of two things may happen: they may accept or decline the money. If they decline to accept the money, the money (including any fees you were charged) will be refunded to:
The original payment method you used for the transaction, if you used a credit card, debit card, PayPal Credit, a Cash Account, or balance in a business PayPal account as the payment method, or
The balance in your business PayPal account or the balance in your Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account if you used a bank account as the payment method and we cannot refund it to your bank account.
If you do not have a Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account, the money will be waiting for you to claim by using one of the available transfer methods under Receiving Funds, Holding a Balance or Transferring Funds for personal PayPal accounts.
Fees for Sending Money to Friends and Family
The fees applicable to sending money can be found on our Fees for Sending Money to Friends and Family page and will be disclosed to you in advance each time you initiate a transaction to send money to a friend or family member. If you convert money in your Cash Account balance or in your business PayPal account balance from one currency to another before sending money, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) will be used. If you use your credit card as the payment method when sending money, you may also be charged a cash-advance fee by your card issuer.
If you send money to a friend or family member from a third party (non-PayPal) website or by using a third party’s product or service, then the third party will determine if the sender or recipient pays the fee. This will be disclosed to you by the third party before the payment is initiated.
You can also use the send money feature in your PayPal account to pay for goods or services. You will not be charged any transaction fee for sending money to purchase goods or services as long as you choose the “send money to pay for goods and services” feature in your PayPal account. In that case, the seller will pay a fee. You must not use the “send money to a friend or family member” feature in your PayPal account when you are paying for goods or services.
Buying Something From, or Returning Something to, a Seller Who Accepts PayPal
How to buy something
You can buy something from a seller who accepts PayPal, in any currency that the seller accepts and that PayPal supports using any payment method linked to your PayPal account. This includes, for example:
Buying something at an online retailer’s website and selecting PayPal as your payment method at checkout.
Sending money to a seller for goods or services.
Using your PayPal account to buy something at a seller’s physical store.
If the seller you are buying from sells goods or services and that seller does not already have a PayPal account, they can claim your payment by opening a PayPal account. If they don’t open a PayPal account within 30 days, your purchase will be refunded.
In order to manage risk, PayPal may limit the payment methods available for a transaction when you buy something. In addition, payment methods may be limited for certain sellers or if you make a PayPal payment through certain third party websites or applications.
When you authorize a payment to a seller who accepts PayPal, some sellers may take up to 30 days to complete the transaction. In these instances, your payment may appear as a pending order in your PayPal account. In that case, your authorization of the payment will remain valid until the seller completes the transaction (but no longer than 30 days). If you used a debit or credit card as the payment method, your debit or credit card issuer also may show a pending authorization for a period of time until they release the hold or receive a completed transaction. If your payment requires a currency conversion by us, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including a currency conversion spread) will be used, and may be the rate at the time the payment is processed.
Fees
When you buy something from a seller who accepts PayPal you don’t pay a fee to PayPal. If PayPal performs a currency conversion for your purchase, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) will be used. Your debit or credit card issuer may also charge you a separate fee for non-U.S. transactions.
In addition you may be required to pay a fee to PayPal if you are making a purchase using PayPal Business Payments and the seller discloses to you that you, as the buyer, must pay the fee.
Payment review
When PayPal identifies a potentially high-risk transaction, we review the transaction more closely before allowing it to proceed. When this happens, PayPal will place a hold on the transaction and notify the seller to delay shipping of the item. As a buyer, this may delay your receipt of the item you purchased. If we clear the transaction, we will notify the seller and direct them to ship the item. If we don’t clear the transaction, we will cancel it and return the funds to you, unless we are legally required to take other action.
Automatic payments
You can agree with a seller who accepts PayPal to use PayPal as the payment method for future purchases with that seller. This agreement is between you and the seller and allows you to pay the seller on a one-time, recurring or sporadic basis. Examples of automatic payments that can be arranged by you either with a seller or with PayPal include those that PayPal calls a “billing agreement,” “subscription,” “recurring payment,” “reference transaction,” “preauthorized transfer” or “preapproved payment.”
If you have a personal PayPal account, you may cancel a recurring automatic payment up to 3 Business Days before the date of the next scheduled payment from your account settings or by contacting us through the PayPal Help Center, or by calling PayPal at (888) 221-1161.
Once your automatic payment is canceled, all future automatic payments under your agreement with that seller will be stopped. If you cancel an automatic payment, you may still owe the seller money for the purchase or have additional obligations to the seller for any goods or services that you receive but have not paid for.
If you have given advance authorization, either to a seller or to PayPal, that permits a seller to take or receive payments from your PayPal account on a regularly recurring basis (for example, every month or otherwise on a routine billing cycle), and if such payments will vary in amount, you have the right to advance notice of the amount and date of the transfer from the seller at least 10 days before the transfer is made. If the seller provides the option, you may choose to receive this advance notice only when the amount of your automatic payment will fall outside a range established between you and the seller.
If you have authorized an automatic payment and PayPal performs currency conversion for an automatic payment transaction, PayPal will use the transaction exchange rate (including PayPal’s currency conversion spread) in effect at the time the automatic payment transaction is processed.
Refunds
When you buy something from a seller online using PayPal and the transaction is ultimately refunded, the money will typically be refunded to the original payment method you used for the transaction if you used a debit card, credit card, PayPal Credit, or a balance in your Cash Account or business PayPal account.
If you used a bank account linked to a personal PayPal account as the payment method for the transaction, we will attempt to refund the money to your bank account. If we are unable to do so, we will refund the money to your linked Cash Account if you have one. If you do not have a Cash Account, the money will be waiting for you to claim by using one of the available transfer methods under Receiving Funds, Holding a Balance or Transferring Funds for personal PayPal accounts.
If you used a bank account linked to a business PayPal account as the payment method for the transaction, we will attempt to refund the money to your bank account. If we are unable to do so, we will refund the money to your balance in your business PayPal account.
For purchases you make in a seller’s store location that you paid for using your personal PayPal account and the transaction is ultimately refunded, the money will be refunded to your Cash Account if you have one. If you do not have a Cash Account, the money will be waiting for you to claim by using one of the available transfer methods under Receiving Funds, Holding a Balance or Transferring Funds for personal PayPal accounts.
For purchases you make in a seller’s store location that you paid for using your business PayPal account and the transaction is ultimately refunded, the money will be refunded to your balance in your business PayPal account.
If you used Pay with Rewards to fund your transaction, your refund will be processed back as a dollar amount: depending on your card agreement with your issuer, your issuer may or may not credit your purchase back to your reward balance.
If PayPal performed currency conversion for your transaction and a refund is issued:
Within 1 days of the date of the original payment, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including a currency conversion spread) used at the time of the original payment will apply.
Beyond 1 days of the date of the original payment, PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including a currency conversion spread) on the date of the refund will apply.
Money will be refunded in the currency you paid; or if we are unable to refund in the currency you paid, in your primary holding currency; or we are unable to refund in your primary holding currency, then in U.S. dollars.
Payment Method Used for My Transaction
Selecting a preferred payment method
You can choose any of the payment methods in your PayPal account as your preferred payment method. You can select a preferred payment method in your account preferences on www.paypal.com or in the PayPal app. There may be times when your preferred payment method cannot be used, for example, if you select a credit card that is expired.
You can set separate preferred payment methods for online transactions, in-store transactions, and each of your automatic payment agreements, as described below.
If you have chosen a preferred payment method, it will be shown as the primary method of payment.
If no preferred payment method, it’s still your choice.
The availability of certain payment methods may be limited based on that particular seller or the third party website you are using to complete the transaction.
If you have not selected a preferred payment method, or your preferred payment method is unavailable, we will show you available payment methods, including the payment method you used most often or most recently, at the time of transaction. You can also click on the “Manage” link to see all of your available payment methods, or add a new one, and select a payment method during the transaction.
Backup payment method
Certain one-time online transactions may require that a backup funding method be used in the event that your selected or preferred payment method is unavailable. In those instances, the backup funding method may be displayed to you on your transaction review page, before you complete the transaction. Note that this only applies for one-time, online transactions, and not for in-store or automatic payments. If PayPal determines currency conversion is necessary for a transaction that also requires a backup payment method, you may not be able to separately choose whether PayPal or your card issuer performs the currency conversion on your backup payment method.
Sending money to friends and family
When you send money to friends and family within the U.S. using balance in your Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account, the balance in your business PayPal account, or your bank account, we waive all fees, so we always show you these payment options first, even if you have a set preferred payment method for your online purchases. Remember, you always have the choice to select any payment method in your PayPal account by clicking the “Change” link on the Send Money page. If you select a payment method with a fee, we will always show you the fee before you send money.
Automatic payments
Some sellers allow you to store PayPal as the way you pay when making purchases on their site, so you can check out faster. Often, this entails creating an agreement with the seller that permits them to request that we charge your PayPal account each time you make a purchase. To help minimize disruptions in your automatic payments, we may update your Payment Method information; see Link or Unlink a Payment Method.
When you first set up an automatic payment agreement, you may have the option to set up a preferred payment method for such agreement. You can review, set, or change a preferred payment method for an automatic payment agreement in your account settings on paypal.com.
Your preferred payment method for an automatic payment agreement will be used for transactions with that seller. If you have available balance in a linked Cash or cash Plus account, that balance may be used before your preferred payment method.
If you have not set a preferred payment method for an automatic payment agreement, or if your preferred payment method for an automatic payment agreement is unavailable (for example, because it is expired or has insufficient funds) the payment method used will be in the following order, if applicable: 1. Cash Account (if one is linked to your personal PayPal account) or balance in your business PayPal account (if we’ve been able to verify the required identifying information you provide to us); 2. Bank account; 3. PayPal co-branded debit card; 4. PayPal co-branded credit card; 5. Debit card; 6. Credit card; and 7. E-check. This is also the order of payment methods that will be used if a previously selected payment method to be used in a seller agreement is unavailable.
Bank account transfers
When you use your bank account as a payment method, you are allowing PayPal to initiate a transfer from your bank account to the recipient. For these transactions, PayPal will make electronic transfers from your bank account in the amount you specify. You authorize PayPal to try this transfer again if the initial transfer is rejected by your bank for any reason.
E-check
E-check is a payment method where you use your bank account as your payment method, and the payment is not received by the recipient until the transaction is processed from the bank. This process usually takes 3-5 Business Days, but this amount of time will increase if the payment is sent from a bank account located outside the United States.
Pay with Rewards
PayPal may allow you to redeem rewards associated with your eligible card(s) when making a purchase with your PayPal account through PayPal’s Pay with Rewards program. PayPal may share with and receive information from your issuer about your issuer accounts to complete the redemption of your rewards when using PayPal’s Pay with Rewards program. The exchange of this information is necessary to complete the purchase when you select the Pay with Rewards redemption option.
All Pay with Rewards redemptions are subject to the terms of your card agreement with your card issuer. Pay with Rewards is only available for eligible purchases with certain merchants, and PayPal or your issuer may limit, suspend, or terminate your ability to redeem rewards at any time in accordance with this user agreement and your card agreement. Your issuer determines the value of rewards redeemed through PayPal and available redemption methods (e.g., to pay for your purchase or for a statement credit).
There may be a delay between checkout and processing of your payment. Only rewards available upon processing of your payment will be used. Because your reward balance and/or transaction balance may change, whenever you request to redeem rewards for a purchase you also authorize PayPal to charge up to the full payment amount to your associated card if that happens. For more information on redeeming rewards and how it works, please see About Payment Methods.
Debit card processing
PayPal will process your debit or prepaid card funded transactions through either the ATM debit network or the Visa, MasterCard or Discover network. If we process your debit or prepaid card through an ATM debit network, we may provide you with the opportunity to switch to a Visa, MasterCard or Discover network by changing your preferences for that debit or prepaid card through your PayPal account profile.
Loyalty Cards
If you use the PayPal application on your mobile phone, you may store loyalty card numbers or bar codes, where applicable, for certain sellers in your PayPal account. When you store your loyalty card numbers or bar codes in your PayPal account, you will earn any rewards, subject to the seller’s loyalty card terms and conditions, at the time you make your payment to the merchant by presenting the stored loyalty card number or bar code to the seller at the point of sale. It is your responsibility to make sure you have entered your loyalty card information correctly and that you update it as necessary. It is also your responsibility to ensure that you are receiving the rewards to which you are entitled. PayPal is not responsible for managing your loyalty card account by offering this service and any questions about your loyalty card or associated rewards program should be directed to the seller who offers the card.
PayPal’s Purchase Protection Program
When you buy something from a seller who accepts PayPal, you may be eligible for a refund under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program. When applicable, PayPal’s Purchase Protection program entitles you to reimbursement for the full purchase price of the item plus the original shipping costs you paid, if any. PayPal determines, in its sole discretion, whether your claim qualifies for the Purchase Protection program. PayPal’s original determination is considered final, but you may be able to file an appeal of the decision with PayPal if you have new or compelling information not available at the time of the original determination or you believe there was an error in the decision-making process.
IMPORTANT: You may be required to return the item to the seller or other party we specify as part of the settlement of your claim. PayPal’s Purchase Protection program does not entitle you to reimbursement for the return shipping costs that you may incur.
PayPal’s Purchase Protection program may apply when you encounter these specific problems with a transaction:
You didn’t receive your item from a seller (referred to as an “Item Not Received” claim), or
You received an item, but the item isn’t what you ordered (referred to as a “Significantly Not as Described” claim).
If you believe that a transaction made through your PayPal account was not authorized by you, this type of claim is different from the Purchase Protection program, and is described below under Liability for Unauthorized Transactions and Other Errors.
QR Code Transactions
If you buy something from a seller in person by using a PayPal goods and services QR code, your transaction may be eligible for PayPal’s Purchase Protection program.
Item Not Received claims
Your claim will not qualify for a refund under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program for an Item Not Received claim, if:
You collect the item in person, or arrange for it to be collected on your behalf, including if you use PayPal in a seller’s physical store, except for in-person PayPal QR code goods and services transactions, or
If the seller presents evidence that they delivered the goods to you, PayPal may find in favor of the seller for an Item Not Received claim even if you claim you did not receive the goods.
Significantly Not as Described claims
An item may be considered Significantly Not as Described if:
The item is materially different from the seller’s description of it.
You received a completely different item.
The condition of the item was misrepresented. For example, the item was described as “new” but the item was used.
The item was advertised as authentic but is not authentic (i.e. counterfeit).
The item is missing major parts or features and those facts were not disclosed in the description of the item when you bought it.
You purchased a certain number of items but didn’t receive them all.
The item was damaged during shipment.
The item is unusable in its received state and was not disclosed as such.
An item may not be considered Significantly Not as Described if:
The defect in the item was correctly described by the seller in its description of the item.
The item was properly described but you didn’t want it after you received it.
The item was properly described but did not meet your expectations.
The item has minor scratches and was described as “used.”
Ineligible items and transactions under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program
Payments for the following are not eligible for reimbursement under PayPal Purchase Protection:
Real estate, including residential property.
Financial products or investments of any kind.
Businesses (when you buy or invest in a business).
Vehicles, including, but not limited to, motor vehicles, motorcycles, recreational vehicles, aircraft and boats.
Significantly Not as Described claims for wholly or partly custom-made items or items picked up in person, except for in-person PayPal QR code goods and services transactions.
Donations including payments on crowdfunding platforms.
For Item Not Received claims, items which you collect in person or arrange to be collected on your behalf, including items bought in a seller’s store location, except for in-person PayPal QR code goods and services transactions.
Industrial machinery used in manufacturing.
Anything purchased from, or an amount paid to, a government agency.
Stored value items such as gift cards and pre-paid cards.
Gambling, gaming and/or any other activity with an entry fee and a prize.
Personal Payments.
Payments sent using PayPal to any bill payment service.
Payments made using PayPal Payouts and Mass Pay or guest checkout transactions (i.e. not sent using your PayPal account).
Items intended for resale, including single item transactions or transactions that include multiple items.
Transaction eligibility for PayPal’s Purchase Protection program
To be eligible for PayPal Purchase Protection you must meet all of the following requirements:
Have a PayPal account in good standing.
Pay for the eligible item from your PayPal account.
Attempt to contact the seller to resolve your issue directly before filing a claim through the Resolution Center.
Respond to PayPal’s request for documentation and other information within the time requested.
Open a dispute in the Resolution Center within 180 days of the date you sent the payment and follow our online dispute resolution process.
Not have received a recovery or agreed to an alternative resolution related to your purchase from another source.
Our online dispute resolution process
If you’re unable to resolve a transaction related issue directly with a seller, you must follow our online dispute resolution process through the Resolution Center to pursue a claim under our Purchase Protection program. You may also file a claim (Step 2 below) by calling us and speaking to an agent. The steps you must follow are described below, and if you do not follow these steps your claim may be denied:
Step 1: Open a dispute within 180 days of the date you made the payment. This might allow you to start a direct conversation with the seller regarding your issue with the transaction that may help resolve the dispute. If you are unable to resolve the dispute directly with the seller, proceed to Step 2. We will place a hold on all funds related to the transaction in the seller’s PayPal account until the dispute is resolved or closed.
Step 2: Escalate the dispute to a claim for reimbursement within 20 days after opening the dispute, if you and the seller are unable to come to an agreement, or we will automatically close the dispute. You can escalate the dispute to a claim for reimbursement through the Resolution Center. The seller or PayPal may also escalate the dispute to a claim at this point. If you are making an Item Not Received claim, PayPal may ask you to wait at least 7 days from the transaction date to escalate the dispute.
Step 3: Respond to PayPal’s requests for documentation or other information, after you, the seller or PayPal escalates your dispute to a claim for reimbursement. PayPal may require you to provide receipts, third party evaluations, police reports or other documents that PayPal specifies. You must respond to these requests in a timely manner as requested in our correspondence with you.
Step 4: Comply with PayPal’s shipping requests in a timely manner, if you’re filing a Significantly Not as Described claim. PayPal may require you, at your expense, to ship the item back to the seller, to PayPal or to a third party (which will be specified by PayPal) and to provide proof of delivery.
Proof of delivery means:
For transactions that total less than $750 U.S. dollars (or the currency threshold in the table below), confirmation that can be viewed online and includes the delivery address showing at least city/state or zip code, delivery date, and the identity of the shipping company you used.
For transactions that total $750 U.S. dollar (or the currency threshold in the table below) or more, you must provide signature confirmation of delivery. If the transaction is in a currency not listed in the table, then signature confirmation is required when the payment exceeds the equivalent of $750 USD at the PayPal exchange rate that applies at the time the transaction is processed.

Step 5: PayPal will make a final decision (including automatically closing any dispute or claim), in its sole discretion, based on the coverage and eligibility requirements set forth above, any additional information provided during the online dispute resolution process or any other information PayPal deems relevant and appropriate under the circumstances.
Note that when you are making Digital Goods Micropayments Purchases, there are special rules that apply and that include pre-determined thresholds where we may, at our discretion, reverse the transaction without requiring you to take further action. We may limit the number of automatic reversals that you benefit from, but, even if that is the case, you will still be able to follow PayPal’s standard dispute resolution processes described above.
Dispute with us or your card issuer
If you used a debit or credit card as the payment method for a transaction through your PayPal account and you are dissatisfied with the transaction, you may be entitled to dispute the transaction with your card issuer. Applicable card chargeback rights may be broader than those available to you under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program. For example, if you dispute a transaction with your card issuer, you may be able to recover amounts you paid for unsatisfactory items even if they don’t qualify for protection under a Significantly Not as Described claim with us.
You must choose whether to pursue a dispute with PayPal under our Purchase Protection program, or to pursue the dispute with your card issuer. You can’t do both at the same time or seek a double recovery. If you pursue a dispute/claim with us and you also pursue a dispute for the same transaction with your card issuer, we’ll close your dispute/claim with us. This won’t affect the dispute process with your card issuer. In addition, if you pursue a dispute with your card issuer, you cannot pursue a dispute/claim with us later.
If you choose to dispute a transaction with PayPal and we decide against you, you can seek to pursue the dispute with your card issuer later. If PayPal does not make a final decision on your claim until after your card issuer’s deadline for filing a dispute, and because of our delay you recover less than the full amount you would have been entitled to recover from the card issuer, we will reimburse you for the remainder of your loss (minus any amount you have already recovered from the seller or your card issuer).
Before contacting your card issuer or filing a dispute with PayPal, you should contact the seller to attempt to resolve your issue in accordance with the seller’s return policy.
Selling and Accepting Payments
Accepting Payments From Buyers for Goods and Services
Receiving personal payments
If you use your PayPal account to receive payments for the sale of goods or services or accept donations, you must:
Pay any applicable fees for receiving the funds.
Not ask your buyer to send you money using the “send money to a friend or family member.” If you do so, PayPal may remove your PayPal account’s ability to accept payments from friends or family members.
By integrating into your online checkout/platform any functionality intended to enable a payer without a PayPal account to send a payment to your PayPal account, you agree to all further terms of use of that functionality which PayPal will make available to you on any page on the PayPal or Braintree website (including any page for developers and our Legal Agreements page) or online platform. Such further terms include the PayPal Alternative Payment Methods Agreement.
No surcharges
You agree that you will not impose a surcharge or any other fee for accepting PayPal as a payment method. You may charge a handling fee in connection with the sale of goods or services as long as the handling fee does not operate as a surcharge and is not higher than the handling fee you charge for non-PayPal transactions.
Presentation of PayPal and Pay with Venmo
You must treat PayPal and/or Venmo as payment methods or marks at least on par with any other payment methods offered at your points of sale where PayPal or Venmo branded services are integrated, including your websites or mobile applications. This includes at least equal or better: logo placement, position within any point of sale, and treatment in terms of payment flow, terms, conditions, restrictions, and fees, in each case as compared to other marks and payment methods at your points of sale. Further, you must not present any payment method or mark upstream (or at an earlier point in the checkout experience) from the presentment of any of PayPal or Venmo services or marks.
In representations to your customers or in public communications, you must not mischaracterize any PayPal or Venmo services or exhibit a preference for other payment methods over PayPal or Venmo services. Within all of your points of sale, you agree not to try to dissuade or inhibit your customers from using PayPal or Venmo services or encourage the customer to use an alternate payment method. If you enable your customers to pay you with PayPal or Venmo, whenever you display or exhibit the payment methods that you accept (either within any point of sale or in your marketing materials, advertising, and other customer communications) you agree to display the PayPal or Venmo services payment marks at least as prominently, and in at least as positive a manner, as you do for all other payment methods.
Taxes and information reporting
Our fees do not include any taxes, levies, duties or similar governmental assessments of any nature, including, for example, value-added, sales, use or withholding taxes, assessable by any jurisdiction (collectively, “taxes”). It is your responsibility to determine what, if any, taxes apply to the payments you make or receive, and it is solely your responsibility to assess, collect, report and remit the correct taxes to the appropriate authority. PayPal is not responsible for determining whether any taxes apply to your transaction, or for calculating, collecting, reporting or remitting taxes arising from any transaction.
You acknowledge that we may make certain reports to tax authorities regarding transactions that we process. For example, PayPal is required to report to the Internal Revenue Service the total amount of payments for goods and services you receive each calendar year into all of your PayPal accounts associated with the same tax identification number if you receive more than $20,000 in payments for good and services and process more than 200 transactions involving goods or services through those PayPal accounts in the same calendar year.
Your customer service information, refunds and returns policy, and privacy policy
You must publish customer service information with clear instructions on how your customers can contact you. Such instructions must include at least: (1) one active customer service email address or active customer service URL to file tickets for assistance and/or (2) one active customer service telephone number. Such information must be readily accessible for review by your customers.
You must publish a refunds and returns policy.
You must publish a privacy policy, where required by law.
Payment review
PayPal reviews certain potentially high-risk transactions. If PayPal determines, in its sole discretion, that a transaction is high-risk, we place a hold on the payment and provide notice to you to delay shipping of the item. PayPal will conduct a review and either complete or cancel the payment. If the payment is completed, PayPal will provide notice to you to ship the item. Otherwise, PayPal will cancel the payment and the funds will be returned to the buyer, unless we are legally required to take other action. All payments that complete this payment review will be eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection coverage if they meet the PayPal’s Seller Protection requirements. We will notify you about payment reviews by email and/or through your PayPal account.
In-store payments and QR code transactions
If you accept PayPal payments at your physical store, you must communicate the total amount of the transaction to the customer before it takes place. You may charge your customer’s account only for transactions that they have authorized. You must also provide customers with a physical receipt if they request one. You agree that any transaction that you make shall have an accurate and true description of the goods and services being purchased.
If you use a QR code to accept payments in your physical store, you must use a QR code intended for goods and services transactions. You must also not use QR codes intended for in-person transactions as a method of accepting payment for goods and services transactions occurring online. For any buyer claims related to QR code transactions, you may be required to provide us with alternative evidence of delivery or such additional documentation or information relating to the transaction.
Marketplace sellers
If you’re a seller on a marketplace or through a third party application where PayPal is offered, you must comply with any rules that apply to the marketplace’s or the third party application’s buyer protection program for sales you make through that forum. Any such protections may require you to take certain actions and may impact how claims are processed.
PayPal Giving Fund
If you are a charity and hold a PayPal account, you may be eligible to participate in PayPal Giving Fund programs. PayPal Giving Fund is a Donor Advised Fund (DAF) recognized by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) under Section 501(c)(3) of the Code as a tax-exempt public charity (Federal Tax ID: 45-0931286). If you meet the eligibility requirements in the Nonprofit Certification Policy and are either a “Public Charity” under Section 509(a) of the Code or a “Private Operating Foundation” under IRS regulations, you may be automatically enrolled with PayPal Giving Fund upon acceptance of this user agreement. You will receive an email from us confirming your enrollment. Your relationship with PayPal Giving Fund will be governed by the Nonprofit User Agreement, including receiving email communications from PayPal Giving Fund about its current and future partners about its programs. You can opt out of email communications at any time in your PayPal Giving Fund profile. If you don’t want to be enrolled or receive donations from PayPal Giving Fund, you can opt-out at any time by contacting us. For more information, please see PayPal Giving Fund’s Policies.
Card not present transactions
Whenever a buyer uses a debit or credit card as the payment method for a transaction using their account to buy something from you as a seller, the transaction will be processed as a “card not present” transaction, even if the buyer is at your store location.
Accepting preauthorized payments
As a seller, you can accept payments from a buyer’s account through preauthorized transfers either on a one-time, regular or sporadic basis. This type of transaction is sometimes called a “billing agreement,” “subscription,” “recurring payment,” “reference transaction,” “pre-approved payment ” or “automatic payment.”
If you receive preauthorized payments from buyers:
You must:
You must not:
Get each buyer’s prior authorization for the amount, frequency, and duration of any such payment.
Restart future payments without the buyer’s written authorization, if a buyer has stopped or canceled a preauthorized payment.
Provide a simple and easily accessible online cancelation procedure, if buyers sign up for preauthorized payments online.
Provide buyers the ability to stop any such payment up to 3 Business Days before the date scheduled for payment.
Notify the buyer at least 10 days in advance of the amount and date of each preauthorized payment if the preauthorized payment will vary from the preauthorized amount or (at the buyer’s option) any payment that is in an amount that falls outside of the pre-determined range.
Transaction Fees for Online and In-Store Payments
Your PayPal transaction fees depend on:
the country of the buyer’s account or the currency of their card;
whether you are registered as a charitable organization and have active 501(c)(3) status. Your 501(c)(3) status must be documented with PayPal to receive the rates applicable to charitable organizations, and those rates will apply only after you document your status with us.
Standard transaction fees
The fees you pay when selling goods or services and the buyer pays using their PayPal account (or using another authorized wallet) can be found on the Standard Transaction Fees table, with the fees applicable to charitable organizations founds on the Standard Transaction Fees for Charitable Organizations table for the charitable fees. Please note that:
We may adjust the fees applicable to future transactions that you process using PayPal. We will provide you at least 21 days’ advance notice for personal PayPal accounts and at least 5 days’ advance notice for business PayPal accounts of any fee increase or the introduction of a new type of fee.
If you refund a transaction to a buyer or a donation to a donor, there are no fees to make the refund, but the fees you originally paid as the seller are not returned.
If you accept payments using a PayPal product (like PayPal Here or PayPal Payments Pro), the fees applicable to those products will apply to your transactions.
Micropayments fees
You may qualify to receive micropayments pricing for the sale of goods and services through your PayPal account, if your transactions typically average less than $10. In order to qualify, you must have a PayPal account that is in good standing (for example, no limitations or negative balance), you may not be processing payments using PayPal Payments Pro and you must submit an application and have it approved by us.
If your PayPal account is approved to accept micropayments, then the fees found on the Micropayment Fees table will apply to all transactions for the sale of goods or services processed through your PayPal account, instead of Standard Transaction Fees. If you have multiple PayPal accounts, you must route your micropayments transactions through the appropriate account. Once a transaction is processed, PayPal will not re-route the transaction through a different account.
PayPal Payouts and Mass Pay fees
PayPal’s Payouts and Mass Pay services let you send multiple payments in one batch to send commissions, rebates, rewards, and general payments. You may be able to choose to send payments to PayPal accounts, Venmo accounts, or both. In order to use these services, you must have:
a business PayPal account in good standing and with no withdrawal limits; and
applied for and received our permission to use these services.
We may remove your ability to use Payouts or Mass Pay at any time if there is a higher than acceptable level of risk associated with your use of those services.
The amount you will pay us for these services differs according to whether you use the Payouts service or Mass Pay service, how you send the payments, and the currency of the payment. These fees can be found in the PayPal Payouts and Mass Pay Fees table.
You can send money through Payouts or Mass Pay even if your receiver does not have a PayPal or Venmo account, as applicable, using their email address or mobile number. If the person to whom you are sending money does not have a relevant account, they can claim it by opening one. If they don’t claim it, it will be refunded to you in thirty (30) days. PayPal is not liable for amounts sent by you in error. PayPal shall have no responsibility to reverse any payout payment.
Your responsibility to notify PayPal of pricing or fee errors
Once you have access to any account statement(s) or other account activity information made available to you by PayPal with respect to your business account(s), you will have ninety (90) days to notify PayPal in writing of any errors or discrepancies with respect to the pricing or other fees applied by PayPal. If you do not notify PayPal within such timeframe, you accept such information as accurate, and PayPal shall have no obligation to make any corrections. For the purposes of this provision, such pricing or fee errors or discrepancies are different than Unauthorized Transactions and other electronic transferErrors which are each subject to different notification timeframes as set forth herein.
Refunds, Reversals and Chargebacks
General information
If you receive a payment for selling goods or services that is later refunded or invalidated for any reason, you are responsible for the full amount of the payment sent to you plus any fees (including any applicable chargeback fee described below). Whenever a transaction is refunded or otherwise reversed, PayPal will refund or reverse the transaction from your PayPal account. If a currency conversion is necessary (for example if the balance in your Cash Account or your business PayPal account for a particular currency is insufficient to cover the amount of a refund or reversal, or if the buyer paid in a different currency), PayPal will perform a currency conversion in order to refund or reverse the transaction. PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) at the time the refund or reversal is processed will be used.
If you refund a payment for goods or services, there are no fees to make the refund, but the fees you originally paid as the seller are not returned to you. The amount of the refunded payment will be deducted from your PayPal account.
Payments that are invalidated and reversed
Payments to you may be invalidated and reversed by PayPal if:
You lose a PayPal Purchase Protection claim submitted to us by a buyer, including as a result of your failure to respond in a timely manner.
You lose a Venmo Protected Purchase Program claim.
Your buyer pursues a chargeback related to a card-funded transaction and the transaction is not eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection. The card issuer, not PayPal, determines whether a buyer is successful when they pursue a chargeback related to a card-funded transaction.
eBay decides against you under its money back guarantee program (and you haven’t opted out).
Our investigation of a bank reversal made by a buyer or the buyer’s bank finds that the transaction was fraudulent.
PayPal sent the payment to you in error.
The payment was unauthorized
You received the payment for activities that violated this user agreement or any other agreement between you and PayPal.
When you receive a payment, you are liable to PayPal for the full amount of the payment sent to you plus any fees if the payment is later invalidated or reversed for any reason. If the buyer paid in another currency, the full amount of that payment may be calculated in that currency, using the PayPal transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) that applies at the time the refund or reversal is processed. If the balance in your Cash Account or business PayPal account doesn’t cover the payment amount due plus the fees, we may use any of the payment methods linked to your PayPal account to cover the amount due. If the payment methods linked to your PayPal account don’t cover the amount due, this will result in a negative balance. A negative balance represents an amount that you owe to us, and, in this situation, you must immediately add funds to your balance to resolve it. If you don’t, PayPal may:
engage in collection efforts to recover the amount due from you;
If you receive a debit or credit card-funded payment through your PayPal account and the buyer pursues a chargeback for the transaction with their card issuer, then PayPal will not assess you with a chargeback fee if the transaction is eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection. However, if the transaction is ineligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection, PayPal will assess you with a chargeback fee (for facilitating the chargeback process) regardless of whether the buyer is successful in pursuing the chargeback with the card issuer.
The applicable chargeback fee will be deducted from your PayPal account. The chargeback fee is $20 for transactions in U.S. Dollars, or the amount specified on the Chargeback Fees table in the currency of the original transaction.
Impact of various purchase protection processes on sellers
You should read and understand PayPal’s Purchase Protection program, Venmo’s Protected Purchase Program, and if you sell goods and services to buyers with PayPal accounts in countries other than your own, you also should be familiar with the purchase protection available to buyers in each of those countries. Buyers’ rights under these programs may impact you as a seller. You can find information about PayPal’s protection programs on the Legal Agreements page by selecting your buyer’s location at the top of the page and referring to the corresponding user agreement. You can find information on Venmo’s Protected Purchase Program in Venmo’s user agreement.
If you lose a claim under PayPal’s Purchase Protection program in any country, or under Venmo’s Protected Purchase Program:
You must forfeit the full purchase price of the item plus the original shipping cost. In some cases you may not receive the item back.
You will not receive a refund of the PayPal fees that you paid in connection with the sale.
If the claim was that the item received was Significantly Not as Described, you may not receive the item back, or you may be required to accept the item back and pay for the return shipping costs.
If the claim was that the item received was Significantly Not as Described and related to an item you sold that is counterfeit, you will be required to provide a full refund to the buyer and you may not receive the item back.
If you accept PayPal payments from buyers for goods or services you sell through eBay, then you need to read and understand the eBay Money Back Guarantee program. Unless you opt out by calling eBay, PayPal will treat eBay’s decisions in favor of your buyers under that program as a basis for reversing a PayPal payment made to you. If the balance in your Cash Account or business PayPal account is insufficient to cover the amount, we may:
place a hold on your PayPal account until sufficient funds become available in your PayPal account to cover the amount; or
create a negative balance in your PayPal account.
PayPal’s Seller Protection Program
What’s eligible
If you sell something to a buyer and the transaction is later disputed or reversed under Reversals, Claims or Chargebacks, you may be eligible for reimbursement under PayPal’s Seller Protection program. When it applies, PayPal’s Seller Protection program entitles you to retain the full purchase amount and we will waive any related chargeback fees paid (for debit and credit card-funded transactions). There is no limit on the number of payments for which you can receive coverage. By accessing the transaction details page in your PayPal account you can determine whether or not your transaction is eligible for protection under this program.
PayPal’s Seller Protection program may apply when a buyer claims that:
They did not authorize, or benefit from, funds sent from their PayPal account (referred to as an “Unauthorized Transaction” claim), and the Unauthorized Transaction occurs in an environment hosted by Paypal; or
They didn’t receive the item from you (referred to as an “Item Not Received” claim).
PayPal’s Seller Protection program may also apply when a transaction is reversed because of a successful chargeback by a buyer or when a bank funded payment is reversed by the buyer’s bank.
To be eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection, all of the following basic requirements must be met, as well as any applicable additional requirements:
The primary address for your PayPal account must be in the United States.
The item must be a physical, tangible good that can be shipped, except for items subject to the Intangible Goods Additional Requirements. Transactions involving items that you deliver in person in connection with payment made in your physical store, may also be eligible for Seller Protection so long as the buyer paid for the transaction in person by using a PayPal goods and services QR code.
You must ship the item to the shipping address on the transaction details page in your PayPal account for the transaction. If you originally ship the item to the recipient’s shipping address on the transaction details page but the item is later redirected to a different address, you will not be eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection. We therefore recommend not using a shipping service that is arranged by the buyer, so that you will be able to provide valid proof of shipping and delivery.
The shipping requirement does not apply to eligible transactions involving items that you deliver in person; provided, however, that you agree to provide us with alternative evidence of delivery or such additional documentation or information relating to the transaction that we may request.
You must respond to PayPal’s requests for documentation and other information in a timely manner as requested in our email correspondence with you or in our correspondence with you through the Resolution Center. If you do not respond to PayPal’s request for documentation and other information in the time requested, you may not be eligible for Seller Protection.
If the sale involves pre-ordered or made-to-order goods, you must ship within the timeframe you specified in the listing. Otherwise, it is recommended that you ship all items within 7 days after receipt of payment.
The payment must be marked “eligible” or “partially eligible” in the case of Unauthorized Transaction claims, or “eligible” in the case of Item Not Received claims, for PayPal’s Seller Protection on the Transaction Details page.
PayPal determines, in its sole discretion, whether your claim qualifies for the Seller Protection program. PayPal will make a decision, in its sole discretion, based on the coverage and eligibility requirements, any information or documentation provided during the resolution process, or any other information PayPal deems relevant and appropriate under the circumstances.
Item Not Received additional requirements
To be eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection program for a buyer’s Item Not Received claim, you must meet both the basic requirements and the additional requirement listed below:
Where a buyer files a chargeback with the issuer for a card-funded transaction, the payment must be marked “eligible” for PayPal’s Seller Protection on the Transaction Details page.
Intangible Goods additional requirements
For the sale of intangible goods and services to be eligible for PayPal’s Seller Protection, the sale must meet the basic requirements and the following additional requirements:
Integration requirements
Where you have integrated a PayPal checkout product, you must be using the current version of that product if you are accepting payments directly via a website or mobile optimized website; or
Ensure you are passing session information to PayPal at checkout if you are integrated with PayPal via a third party or if you have a native app integration.
Other integration requirements may apply depending on your business model. We will let you know those requirements ahead of time, if needed.
Provide signature confirmation when the full amount of the payment (including shipping and taxes) exceeds the amount listed in the signature confirmation threshold table (based on the currency of the payment). If the full amount of the payment (including shipping and taxes) is in a currency not listed in the table, then signature confirmation is required when the payment exceeds the equivalent of $750 USD at the PayPal exchange rate that applies at the time the transaction is processed.
Establishing proof of delivery or proof of shipment
Physical Goods
The following is required as proof of shipment or delivery for physical goods:
Proof of shipment
Proof of delivery
Online or physical documentation from a shipping company that includes:
Date of shipment
An address for the recipient that matches the shipping address on the Transaction Details page
An address for the recipient showing at least the city/state, city/country, or zip/postal code (or international equivalent).
Online or physical documentation from a shipping company that includes:
Date of delivery and ‘delivered’ status
An address for the recipient that matches the shipping address on the Transaction Details page
An address for the recipient showing at least the city/state, city/country, or zip/postal code (or international equivalent).
Signature confirmation when the full amount of the payment (including shipping and taxes) exceeds the amount (based on the currency of the payment) listed in the signature confirmation threshold table Signature confirmation is online documentation, viewable at the shipping company’s website, indicating that the item was signed for.
IMPORTANT: Your choice of carrier and shipment options with that carrier can have a big impact on your ability to meet the proof of delivery requirements. Please ensure, especially when shipping goods internationally, that your carrier can provide ‘delivered’ status at the correct address, or your Seller Protection claim may be denied.
Intangible Goods
The following is required as proof of shipment or delivery for intangible goods:
QR Code Transactions
The following is required as proof of shipment or proof of delivery:
For intangible or digital goods, proof of shipment or delivery means compelling evidence to show the item was delivered or the purchase order was fulfilled. Compelling evidence could include a system of record showing the date the item was sent and that it was either:
Electronically sent to the recipient, including the recipient’s address (email, IP, etc.), where applicable; or
Received or accessed by the recipient.
For QR code transactions, you may be required to provide us with alternative evidence of delivery or such additional documentation or information relating to the transaction.

Ineligible items and transactions
Your sale is not eligible for coverage under PayPal’s Seller Protection program if:
The buyer claims (either with us or their card issuer) that the item you sent isn’t what was ordered (referred to as a “Significantly Not as Described” claim).
It involves an item that PayPal determines, in its sole discretion, is a counterfeit item.
It involves an item that you deliver in person, including in connection with a payment made in your physical store, unless the buyer paid for the transaction in person by using a PayPal goods and services QR code.
It involves sales that are not processed either through a buyer’s PayPal account or a PayPal guest checkout transaction. For example, if the sale was made using the PayPal Payments Pro/VT product, PayPal business payments or using PayPal Here, then it is not eligible for coverage.
It involves items equivalent to cash including gift cards.
It involves a donation.
It relates to the purchase of a financial product or investment of any kind.
It involves a payment sent using PayPal’s friends and family functionality.
It involves a payment made using PayPal Payouts and Mass Pay.
The item is a vehicle, including, but not limited to a motor vehicle, motorcycle, recreational vehicle, aircraft or boat.
Payments made in respect of gold (whether in physical form or in exchange-traded form).
PayPal Advertising Program
The PayPal Advertising Program enables you to promote PayPal services, including PayPal Credit, through PayPal-hosted banners and buttons on your websites or in your customer emails. PayPal may change the content provided through this program at any time for any reason, and PayPal may choose to discontinue the PayPal Advertising Program at any time.
If you participate in this program:
You must:
You must not:
Comply with all integration requirements provided by PayPal or each authorized third party, including those with respect to accurate presentation of all PayPal related information.
Modify any PayPal content or its presentation in any way.
Only use the HTML code for PayPal content as provided by PayPal.
Copy PayPal content from other websites.
Use the PayPal content in its entirety with all the links and language provided by PayPal and without modification by you.
Create, display or host your own PayPal content, unless authorized by PayPal in writing.
Immediately remove all PayPal content from your sites and customer communications and/or cooperate with PayPal or your third party provider to do so, if you stop using a qualifying PayPal payments solution.
Post PayPal content on social media networks or platforms or anywhere else, unless authorized by PayPal in writing.
Keep all PayPal content current and up to date, including by cooperating with PayPal to manually update the PayPal content as its appears on your sites or in your communications and repair or reinstall the HTML code to facilitate future updates.
Display any non-current PayPal content.
Comply with applicable advertising laws, regulations and standards issued by governmental authorities or advertising self-regulatory bodies including but not limited to the digital advertising standards issued by the Network Advertising Initiative.
If you promote the use of PayPal Credit on your sites and customer communications through the PayPal Advertising Program, there are additional requirements that apply. If you receive customer inquiries relating to PayPal Credit, you must direct the customer to PayPal Credit Customer Service at (844) 373-4961. If a customer is unable to process a transaction using PayPal Credit, you are prohibited from communicating any reason for the decline to the customer on PayPal Credit’s behalf. You are also prohibited from representing or holding yourself out to represent PayPal Credit in any way.
You are responsible for any damages suffered by PayPal or any third parties resulting from your failure to follow the rules of the PayPal Advertising Program, and if you violate these rules, PayPal may modify or remove the PayPal content you are presenting or require you to remove or modify it immediately. If you fail to follow these rules, we may limit or close your PayPal account.
Restricted Activities and Holds
Restricted Activities
In connection with your use of our websites, your PayPal account, the PayPal services, or in the course of your interactions with PayPal, other PayPal customers, or third parties, you must not:
Violate any law, statute, ordinance, or regulation (for example, those governing financial services, consumer protections, unfair competition, anti-discrimination or false advertising);
Infringe PayPal’s or any third party’s copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights, or rights of publicity or privacy;
Sell counterfeit goods;
Act in a manner that is defamatory, trade libelous, threatening or harassing;
Provide false, inaccurate or misleading information;
Send or receive what we reasonably believe to be potentially fraudulent funds;
Refuse to cooperate in an investigation or provide confirmation of your identity or any information you provide to us;
Attempt to double dip during the course of a dispute by receiving or attempting to receive funds from both PayPal and the seller, bank or card issuer for the same transaction;
Control an account that is linked to another account that has engaged in any of these restricted activities;
Conduct your business or use the PayPal services in a manner that results in or may result in;
complaints;
requests by buyers (either filed with us or card issuers) to invalidate payments made to you;
fees, fines, penalties or other liability or losses to PayPal, other PayPal customers, third parties or you;
Use your PayPal account or the PayPal services in a manner that PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover or any other electronic funds transfer network reasonably believes to be an abuse of the card system or a violation of card association or network rules;
Allow your PayPal account to have a negative balance;
Provide yourself a cash advance from your credit card (or help others to do so);
Access the PayPal services from a country that is not included on PayPal’s permitted countries list;
Take any action that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf or the PayPal services;
Facilitate any viruses, trojan horses, malware, worms or other computer programming routines that attempts to or may damage, disrupt, corrupt, misuse, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate, or gain unauthorized access to any system, data, information or PayPal services;
Use an anonymizing proxy; use any robot, spider, other automatic device, or manual process to monitor or copy our websites without our prior written permission; or use any device, software or routine to bypass our robot exclusion headers;
Interfere or disrupt or attempt to interfere with or disrupt our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf, any of the PayPal services or other users’ use of any of the PayPal services;
Take any action that may cause us to lose any of the services from our Internet service providers, payment processors, or other suppliers or service providers;
Use the PayPal services to test credit card behaviors;
Circumvent any PayPal policy or determinations about your PayPal account such as temporary or indefinite suspensions or other account holds, limitations or restrictions, including, but not limited to, engaging in the following actions: attempting to open new or additional PayPal account(s) when an account has a negative balance or has been restricted, suspended or otherwise limited; opening new or additional PayPal accounts using information that is not your own (e.g. name, address, email address, etc.); or using someone else’s PayPal account; or
Harass and/or threaten our employees, agents, or other users.
Actions We May Take if You Engage in Any Restricted Activities
If we believe that you’ve engaged in any of these activities, we may take a number of actions to protect PayPal, its customers and others at any time in our sole discretion. The actions we may take include, but are not limited to, the following:
Terminate this user agreement, limit your PayPal account (and any linked Cash Account), and/or close or suspend your PayPal account (and any linked Cash Account), immediately and without penalty to us;
Refuse to provide the PayPal services to you in the future;
Limit your access to our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf, your PayPal account or any of the PayPal services, including limiting your ability to pay or send money with any of the payment methods linked to your PayPal account, restricting your ability to send money or make withdrawals;
Hold the balance in your Cash Account, the balance in your business PayPal account, or any money waiting to be claimed through your personal PayPal account if you do not have a Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account, for up to 180 days if reasonably needed to protect against the risk of liability or if you have violated our Acceptable Use Policy;
Suspend your eligibility for PayPal’s Purchase Protection program and/or PayPal’s Seller Protection program;
Contact buyers who have purchased goods or services from you using PayPal, your bank or credit card issuer, other impacted third parties or law enforcement about your actions;
Update inaccurate information you provided us;
Take legal action against you;
If you’ve violated our Acceptable Use Policy, then you’re also responsible for damages to PayPal caused by your violation of this policy; or
If you are a seller and you violate the Acceptable Use Policy, then in addition to being subject to the above actions you will be liable to PayPal for the amount of PayPal’s damages caused by your violation of the Acceptable Use Policy. You acknowledge and agree that $2,500.00 U.S. dollars per violation of the Acceptable Use Policy is presently a reasonable minimum estimate of PayPal’s actual damages considering all currently existing circumstances, including the relationship of the sum to the range of harm to PayPal that reasonably could be anticipated because, due to the nature of the violations of the Acceptable Use Policy, actual damages would be impractical or extremely difficult to calculate. PayPal may deduct such damages directly from any existing balance in any PayPal account you control.
If we close your PayPal account or terminate your use of the PayPal services for any reason, we’ll provide you with notice of our actions and make any unrestricted funds held in the balance of your Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account or in the balance of your business PayPal account, or any money waiting to be claimed through your personal PayPal account if you do not have a Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account, available for withdrawal.
You are responsible for all reversals, chargebacks, claims, fees, fines, penalties and other liability incurred by PayPal, any PayPal customer, or a third party caused by or arising out of your breach of this agreement, and/or your use of the PayPal services.
Holds, Limitations, and Reserves
What are holds, limitations and reserves
Under certain circumstances, in order to protect PayPal and the security and integrity of the network of buyers and sellers that use the PayPal services, PayPal may take account-level or transaction-level actions. Unless otherwise noted, if we take any of the actions described here, we’ll provide you with notice of our actions, but we retain the sole discretion to take these actions. To request information in connection with an account limitation, hold or reserve, you should visit the Resolution Center or follow the instructions in our email notice with respect to the limitation, hold or reserve.
Our decision about holds, limitations and reserves may be based on confidential criteria that are essential to our management of risk and the protection of PayPal, our customers and/or service providers. We may use proprietary fraud and risk modeling when assessing the risk associated with your PayPal account. In addition, we may be restricted by regulation or a governmental authority from disclosing certain information to you about such decisions. We have no obligation to disclose the details of our risk management or security procedures to you.
In order to facilitate PayPal’s actions described above and allow us to assess the level of risk associated with your PayPal account, you agree to cooperate with PayPal’s reasonable requests for financial statements and other documentation or information in a timely fashion.
Holds
A hold is an action that PayPal may take under certain circumstances either at the transaction level or the account level. When PayPal places a temporary hold on a payment, the money is not available to either the sender or the recipient. PayPal reviews many factors before placing a hold on a payment, including: account tenure, transaction activity, business type, past customer disputes, and overall customer satisfaction. Some common situations where PayPal will hold payments include:
New sellers or sellers who have limited selling activity.
Payments for higher-risk categories like electronics or tickets.
Sellers who have performance issues, or a high rate of buyer dissatisfaction or disputes.
Holds based on PayPal’s risk decisions
We may place a hold on payments sent to your PayPal account if, in our sole discretion, we believe that there may be a high level of risk associated with you, your PayPal account, or your transactions or that placing such a hold is necessary to comply with state or federal regulatory requirements. We make decisions about whether to place a payment hold based on a number of factors, including information available to us from both internal sources and third parties. When we place a hold on a payment, the funds will appear in your PayPal account with an indication that they are unavailable or pending. We’ll notify you, either through your PayPal account or directly by phone or email, whenever we place a hold.
Risk-based holds generally remain in place for up to 21 days from the date the payment was received into your PayPal account. We may release the hold earlier under certain circumstances (for example, if you’ve uploaded shipment tracking information related to the transaction), but any earlier release is at our sole discretion. The hold may last longer than 21 days if the payment is challenged as a payment that should be invalidated and reversed based on a disputed transaction as discussed in the following paragraph below. In this case, we’ll hold the payment in your PayPal account until the matter is resolved (but no longer than 180 days).
Holds related to Marketplace transactions
If you’re a seller on a marketplace or through a third-party application where PayPal is offered, a hold may be placed on a payment sent to you at the instruction of the applicable marketplace or third party. This is done once you have granted us permission to have your funds held and will be in accordance with your agreement with the third party. These holds will appear in your PayPal account. If you have questions about why the applicable marketplace or third party instructed PayPal to put these holds in place, you will need to contact the marketplace or third party directly.
Holds based on disputed transactions
If a payment sent to you as a seller is challenged as a payment that should be invalidated and reversed, we may place a temporary hold on the funds in your PayPal account to cover the amount that could be reversed. Any of the situations described under Refunds, Reversals and Chargebacks are situations that could result in us placing a hold on a payment. If we determine the transaction should not be reversed, we’ll lift the temporary hold. If we determine the transaction should be reversed, we’ll remove the funds from your PayPal account.
Account Limitations
Limitations are implemented to help protect PayPal, buyers and sellers when we notice restricted activities, an increased financial risk, or activity that appears to us as unusual or suspicious. Limitations also help us collect information necessary for keeping your PayPal account open.
There are several reasons why your PayPal account could be limited, including:
If we suspect someone could be using your PayPal account without your knowledge, we’ll limit it for your protection and look into the fraudulent activity.
If your debit or credit card issuer alerts us that someone has used your card without your permission. Similarly, if your bank lets us know that there have been unauthorized transfers between your PayPal account and your bank account.
In order to comply with applicable law.
If we reasonably believe you have breached this agreement or violated the Acceptable Use Policy.
Seller performance indicating your PayPal account is high risk. Examples include: indications of poor selling performance because you’ve received an unusually high number of claims and chargebacks, selling an entirely new or high-cost product type, or if your typical sales volume increases rapidly.
You will need to resolve any issues with your account before a limitation can be removed. Normally, this is done after you provide us with the information we request. However, if we reasonably believe a risk still exists after you have provided us that information, we may take action to protect PayPal, our users, a third party, or you from reversals, fees, fines, penalties, legal and/or regulatory risks and any other liability.
Reserves placed on business PayPal accounts
We may place a reserve on your business PayPal account at any time if we believe there may be a high level of risk associated with you, your business PayPal account, your business model, or your transactions. When we place a reserve on your business PayPal account, it means that all or some portion of the money in your business PayPal account is reserved as unavailable for withdrawal in order to protect against the risk of transactions made by you being reversed or invalidated or any other risk related to your business PayPal account or use of the PayPal services. We make decisions about whether to place a reserve based on a number of factors, including information available to us from both internal sources and from third parties.
PayPal considers a list of non-exclusive factors and whether and how these factors have changed over time, including:
How long you have been in business.
Whether your industry has a higher likelihood of chargebacks.
Your payment processing history with PayPal and other providers.
Your business and/or personal credit history.
Your delivery time frames.
Whether you have higher than average number of returns, chargebacks, claims or disputes.
There are two types of reserves that may be placed on your business PayPal account, and one or both may be applied at the same time:
A Rolling reserve is a reserve where a percentage of each transaction you receive each day is held and then released later on a scheduled basis. For example, your reserve could be set at 10% and held for a 90-day rolling period – meaning 10% of the money you receive on day 1 is held and then released on day 91, 10% of the money you receive on day 2 is held until day 92, etc. Rolling reserves are the most common type of reserve.
A Minimum reserve is a specific minimum amount of money that you’re required to keep available in the balance of your business PayPal account at all times. The minimum reserve is either taken as an upfront amount deposited all at once or is established on a rolling basis from percentages of sales until the minimum reserve is achieved, much like a rolling reserve.
If we place a reserve on funds in your account, the funds will be shown as “pending” and we’ll notify you of the terms of the reserve.
If we change the terms of the reserve due to a change in our risk assessment, we’ll notify you of the new terms.
Court Orders, Regulatory Requirements or Other Legal Process
If we are notified of a court order or other legal process (including garnishment or any equivalent process) affecting you, or if we otherwise believe we are required to do so in order to comply with applicable law or regulatory requirements, we may be required to take certain actions, including holding payments to/from your PayPal account, placing a reserve or limitation on your PayPal account, or releasing your funds. We will decide, in our sole discretion, which action is required of us. Unless the court order, applicable law, regulatory requirement or other legal process requires otherwise, we will notify you of these actions. We do not have an obligation to contest or appeal any court order or legal process involving you or your PayPal account. When we implement a hold, reserve or limitation as a result of a court order, applicable law, regulatory requirement or other legal process, the hold, reserve or limitation may remain in place longer than 180 days.
Liability for Unauthorized Transactions and Other Errors
Protection from Unauthorized Transactions
To protect yourself from unauthorized activity in your PayPal account, you should regularly log into your PayPal account and review your PayPal account statement. PayPal will notify you of each transaction by sending an email to your primary email address on file. You should review these transaction notifications to ensure that each transaction was authorized and accurately completed.
PayPal will protect you from unauthorized activity in your PayPal account. When this protection applies, PayPal will cover you for the full amount of the unauthorized activity as long as you cooperate with us and follow the procedures described below.
What is an Unauthorized Transaction
An “Unauthorized Transaction” occurs when money is sent from your PayPal account that you did not authorize and that did not benefit you. For example, if someone steals your password, uses the password to access your PayPal account, and sends a payment from your PayPal account, an Unauthorized Transaction has occurred.
What is not considered an Unauthorized Transaction
The following are NOT considered Unauthorized Transactions:
If you give someone access to your PayPal account (by giving them your login information) and they use your PayPal account without your knowledge or permission. You are responsible for transactions made in this situation.
If you believe your PayPal login information has been lost or stolen, please contact PayPal customer service immediately or call: (888) 221-1161 or write: PayPal, Attn: Error Resolution Department, P.O. Box 45950, Omaha, NE 68145-0950.
Tell us AT ONCE if you believe that an electronic fund transfer has been made without your permission using your login information or by other means. You could lose all the money in your PayPal account. If you tell us within 60 days after we provide you your PayPal account statement showing transfers you did not make, you will be eligible for 100% protection for Unauthorized Transactions.
Also, if your PayPal account statement shows transfers that you did not make, including those made with your PayPal login information or by other means, tell us at once. If you do not tell us within 60 days after we provided the statement to you, you may not get back any money you lost after the 60 days if we can prove that we could have stopped someone from taking the money if you had told us in time. If a good reason (such as a long trip or a hospital stay) kept you from telling us, we may extend the time periods.
Error Resolution
What is an Error
An “Error” means the following:
When money is either incorrectly taken from your PayPal account or incorrectly placed into your PayPal account, or when a transaction is incorrectly recorded in your PayPal account.
You send a payment and the incorrect amount is debited from your PayPal account.
An incorrect amount is credited to your PayPal account.
A transaction is missing from or not properly identified in your PayPal account statement.
We make a computational or mathematical error related to your PayPal account.
You request receipt or periodic statement documents that PayPal is required to provide to you.
You request information concerning preauthorized (recurring) transfers to your PayPal account that PayPal is required to provide to you.
You request additional information or clarification concerning a transfer to or from your PayPal account, including a request you make to determine whether an error has occurred.
You inquire about the status of a pending transfer to or from your PayPal account.
You request documentation or other information, unless the request is for a duplicate copy for tax or other record-keeping purposes.
What is not considered an Error
The following are NOT considered Errors:
If you give someone access to your PayPal account (by giving them your login information) and they use your PayPal account without your knowledge or permission. You are responsible for transactions made in this situation.
Routine inquiries about the balance in your Cash Account or business PayPal account, or any money waiting to be claimed through your personal PayPal account if you do not have a Cash Account linked to your personal PayPal account.
Requests for duplicate documentation or other information for tax or other recordkeeping purposes.
In case of Errors or questions about your electronic transfers
Telephone us at (888) 221-1161, contact us through the PayPal Resolution Center; or write us at PayPal, Attn: Error Resolution Department, P.O. Box 45950, Omaha, NE 68145-0950.
Notify us as soon as you can, if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt. We must hear from you no later than 60 days after we sent the FIRST statement on which the problem or error appeared.
Tell us your name and account number (if any).
Describe the error or the transfer you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.
If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within 10 Business Days.
We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 Business Days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will credit your PayPal account within 10 Business Days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of the money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within 10 Business Days, we may not credit your PayPal account.
For errors involving new PayPal accounts, point-of-sale transactions, or foreign-initiated transactions, we may take up to 90 days to investigate your complaint or question. For new PayPal accounts, we may take up to 20 Business Days to credit your PayPal account for the amount you think is in error.
We will tell you the results within 3 Business Days after completing our investigation. If we decide that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation.
Processing Errors
We will rectify any processing error that we discover. If the error results in:
You receiving less than the correct amount to which you were entitled, then we will credit your PayPal account for the difference between what you should have received and what you actually received.
You receiving more than the correct amount to which you were entitled, then we will debit your PayPal account for the difference between what you actually received and what you should have received.
Our not completing a transaction on time or in the correct amount, then we will be responsible to you for your losses or damages directly caused by this failure, unless:
through no fault of ours, you did not have enough available funds to complete the transaction;
our system was not working properly and you knew about the breakdown when you started the transaction; or
the error was due to extraordinary circumstances outside our control (such as fire, flood or loss of Internet connection), despite our reasonable precautions.
Delays described under How to buy something related to the time it may take for a purchase transaction to be completed in some situations.
Your errors in making a transaction (for example, mistyping an amount of money that you are sending).
Remittance Transfer Errors
What is a Remittance Transfer
You may be protected for certain errors when you send money using a PayPal account outside of the U.S. A “Remittance Transfer” is a transaction that meets the following criteria:
The payment is sent from a personal PayPal account that is used primarily for personal, family or household purposes,
The payment is made for personal, family or household purposes,
The payment is made using the send money feature through your PayPal account,
The payment amount equals or exceeds $15 USD (excluding fees charged to you) or the foreign currency equivalent calculated using exchange rates in effect at the time of the transaction, and
The recipient of the payment has a PayPal account in a country outside the U.S.
Payments that you make at a merchant website or location by selecting PayPal as a payment option are not “Remittance Transfers.”
What qualifies as a Remittance Transfer Error
A “Remittance Transfer Error” occurs if:
You paid an incorrect amount to send the Remittance Transfer. For example, you were charged more than the total shown on the remittance transfer receipt you received (unless the total shown on the receipt was an estimate, and the difference results from application of the actual exchange rate, fees, and taxes).
PayPal made a computational or bookkeeping error, such as a miscalculation of the amount the recipient received.
The amount stated in the remittance transfer receipt was not made available to the recipient, unless:
we stated in the remittance transfer receipt that we used estimates and the difference in the amount received and the amount stated in the remittance transfer receipt results from application of the actual exchange rate, fees, and taxes, or
the problem was caused by extraordinary circumstances outside our control.

Other Legal Terms
Communications Between You and Us
If you provide us your mobile phone number, you agree that PayPal and its affiliates may contact you at that number using autodialed or prerecorded message calls or text messages to: (i) service your PayPal branded accounts, (ii) investigate or prevent fraud, or (iii) collect a debt. We will not use autodialed or prerecorded message calls or texts to contact you for marketing purposes unless we receive your prior express written consent. We may share your mobile phone number with service providers with whom we contract to assist us with the activities listed above, but we will not share your mobile phone number with third parties for their own purposes without your consent. You do not have to agree to receive autodialed or prerecorded message calls or texts to your mobile phone number in order to use and enjoy the products and services offered by PayPal. You can decline to receive autodialed or prerecorded message calls or texts to your mobile phone number in several ways, including in your PayPal account settings at www.paypal.com, by contacting customer support or by calling us at 1-844-629-9108. Standard telephone minute and text charges may apply.
PayPal may communicate with you about your PayPal account and the PayPal services electronically as described in our Electronic Communications Delivery Policy. You will be considered to have received a communication from us, if it’s delivered electronically, 24 hours after the time we post it to our website or email it to you. You will be considered to have received a communication from us, if it’s delivered by mail, 3 Business Days after we send it.
Unless you’re communicating with us about a matter where we’ve specified another notice address (for example, our Liability for Unauthorized Transactions and Other Errors process), written notices to PayPal must be sent by postal mail to: PayPal, Inc., Attention: Legal Department, 2211 North First Street, San Jose, California 95131.
You understand and agree that, to the extent permitted by law, PayPal may, without further notice or warning, monitor or record telephone conversations you or anyone acting on your behalf has with PayPal or its agents for quality control and training purposes or for our own protection. You acknowledge and understand that while your communications with PayPal may be overheard, monitored, or recorded not all telephone lines or calls may be recorded by PayPal, and PayPal does not guarantee that recordings of any particular telephone calls will be retained or retrievable.
PayPal’s Rights
PayPal suspension and termination rights
PayPal, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to suspend or terminate this user agreement, access to or use of its websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf or some or all of the PayPal services for any reason and at any time upon notice to you and, upon termination of this user agreement, the payment to you of any unrestricted funds held in your PayPal account.
Security interest
As security for the performance of your obligations under this user agreement, you grant to PayPal a lien on, and security interest in and to, funds held in your PayPal account.
Amounts owed to PayPal
If the balance in your PayPal account becomes negative for any reason, that negative balance represents an amount that you owe to PayPal. PayPal may deduct these amounts from funds that are added to your PayPal account later, either by you or from payments you receive. If you have more than one PayPal account, we may set off a negative balance in one PayPal account against a balance in your other PayPal account(s), including a Cash Account. If you continue using your PayPal account when it has a negative balance, you authorize PayPal to combine the negative balance with any debit or transaction sent from your account when that combination is disclosed to you in advance of initiating the debit or transaction.
If you hold funds in a PayPal account in multiple currencies, and the balance for one of the currencies becomes negative for any reason, PayPal may set off the negative balance by using funds you maintain in a different currency. If you have a negative balance in non-U.S. dollars for a period of 21 days or longer, PayPal will convert this negative balance to U.S. dollars. In either case, a currency conversion will be necessary, and PayPal’s transaction exchange rate (including our currency conversion spread) will be used.
In addition to the above, if you have a past due amount owed to us, our affiliates, or eBay, PayPal may debit your PayPal account to pay any amounts that are past due. This includes amounts owed by using our various products such as Venmo, Xoom or Braintree.
Insolvency proceedings
If any proceeding by or against you is commenced under any provision of the United States Bankruptcy Code, as amended, or under any other bankruptcy or insolvency law, we’ll be entitled to recover all reasonable costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees and expenses) incurred in connection with the enforcement of this user agreement.
Assumption of rights
If PayPal invalidates and reverses a payment that you made to a recipient (either at your initiative or otherwise), you agree that PayPal assumes your rights against the recipient and third parties related to the payment, and may pursue those rights directly or on your behalf, in PayPal’s discretion.
No waiver
Our failure to act with respect to a breach of any of your obligations under this user agreement by you or others does not waive our right to act with respect to subsequent or similar breaches.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability
In this section, we use the term “PayPal” to refer to PayPal, Inc., our parent PayPal Holdings, Inc., and our affiliates, and each of their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, joint venturers, service providers and suppliers. Our affiliates include each entity that we control, we are controlled by or we are under common control with.
Indemnification
You must indemnify PayPal for actions related to your PayPal account and your use of the PayPal services. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold PayPal harmless from any claim or demand (including reasonable legal fees) made or incurred by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of this user agreement, your improper use of the PayPal services, your violation of any law or the rights of a third party and/or the actions or inactions of any third party to whom you grant permissions to use your PayPal account or access our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf, or any of the PayPal services on your behalf.
Limitation of liability
PayPal’s liability is limited with respect to your PayPal account and your use of the PayPal services. In no event shall PayPal be liable for lost profits or any special, incidental or consequential damages (including without limitation damages for loss of data or loss of business) arising out of or in connection with our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf, any of the PayPal services, or this user agreement (however arising, including negligence), unless and to the extent prohibited by law.
Our liability to you or any third parties in any circumstance is limited to the actual amount of direct damages. In addition, to the extent permitted by applicable law, PayPal is not liable, and you agree not to hold PayPal responsible, for any damages or losses (including, but not limited to, loss of money, goodwill, or reputation, profits, or other intangible losses or any special, indirect, or consequential damages) resulting directly or indirectly from: (1) your use of, or your inability to use, our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf, or any of the PayPal services; (2) delays or disruptions in our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf and any of the PayPal services; (3) viruses or other malicious software obtained by accessing our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf or any of the PayPal services or any website or service linked to our websites, software or any of the PayPal services; (4) glitches, bugs, errors, or inaccuracies of any kind in our websites, software, systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf or any of the PayPal services or in the information and graphics obtained from them; (5) the content, actions, or inactions of third parties; (6) a suspension or other action taken with respect to your PayPal account; or (7) your need to modify your practices, content, or behavior, or your loss of or inability to do business, as a result of changes to this user agreement or PayPal’s policies.
Disclaimer of Warranty and Release
No warranty
The PayPal services are provided “as-is” and without any representation or warranty, whether express, implied or statutory. PayPal specifically disclaims any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
PayPal does not have any control over the products or services provided by sellers who accept PayPal as a payment method, and PayPal cannot ensure that a buyer or a seller you are dealing with will actually complete the transaction or is authorized to do so. PayPal does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to any part of the PayPal services, and operation of our websites, software, or systems (including any networks and servers used to provide any of the PayPal services) operated by us or on our behalf may be interfered with by numerous factors outside of our control. PayPal will make reasonable efforts to ensure that requests for electronic debits and credits involving bank accounts, debit cards, credit cards, and check issuances are processed in a timely manner but PayPal makes no representations or warranties regarding the amount of time needed to complete processing because the PayPal services are dependent upon many factors outside of our control, such as delays in the banking system or the U.S. or international mail service. Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties, so the foregoing disclaimers may not apply to you.
Release of PayPal
If you have a dispute with any other PayPal account holder, you release PayPal from any and all claims, demands and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, arising out of or in any way connected with such disputes. In entering into this release you expressly waive any protections (whether statutory or otherwise, for example, California Civil Code § 1542) that would otherwise limit the coverage of this release to include only those claims which you may know or suspect to exist in your favor at the time of agreeing to this release.
Agreement to Arbitrate
You and PayPal agree that any claim or dispute at law or equity that has arisen or may arise between us will be resolved in accordance with the Agreement to Arbitrate provisions set forth below. Please read this information carefully. Among other things it:
Affects your rights and will impact how claims you and we have against each other are resolved.
Requires you to follow the Opt-Out Procedure to opt-out of the Agreement to Arbitrate by mailing us a written notice and the opt-out notice must be postmarked no later than 30 days after the date you accept this user agreement for the first time.
If a dispute arises between you and PayPal, acting as either a buyer or a seller, our goal is to learn about and address your concerns. If we are unable to do so to your satisfaction, we aim to provide you with a neutral and cost effective means of resolving the dispute quickly. Disputes between you and PayPal regarding the PayPal services may be reported to customer service online through the PayPal Help Center at any time, or by calling (888) 221-1161 from Mon-Fri 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM PT and Sat-Sun 6:00 AM to 8:00 PM PT.
Agreement to Arbitrate
Our Agreement
You and PayPal each agree that any and all disputes or claims that have arisen or may arise between you and PayPal, including without limitation federal and state statutory claims, common law claims, and those based in contract, tort, fraud, misrepresentation or any other legal theory, shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding arbitration, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court, if your claims qualify and so long as the matter remains in such court and advances only on an individual (non-class, non-representative) basis. This Agreement to Arbitrate is intended to be broadly interpreted. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement to Arbitrate.
Prohibition of Class and Representative Actions and Non-Individualized Relief
You and PayPal agree that each of us may bring claims against the other only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative action or proceeding. Unless both you and PayPal agree otherwise, the arbitrator(s) may not consolidate or join more than one person’s or party’s claims and may not otherwise preside over any form of a consolidated, representative or class proceeding. Also, the arbitrator(s) may award relief (including monetary, injunctive and declaratory relief) only in favor of the individual party seeking relief and only to the extent necessary to provide relief necessitated by that party’s individual claim(s). Any relief awarded cannot affect other PayPal customers.
Arbitration Procedures
Arbitration is more informal than a lawsuit in court. Arbitration uses a neutral arbitrator or arbitrators instead of a judge or jury, and court review of an arbitration award is very limited. However, the arbitrator(s) can award the same damages and relief on an individual basis that a court can award to an individual. The arbitrator(s) also must follow the terms of this user agreement as a court would. All issues are for the arbitrator(s) to decide, except that issues relating to arbitrability, the scope or enforceability of this Agreement to Arbitrate, or the interpretation of the Prohibition of Class and Representative Actions and Non-Individualized Relief section above, shall be for a court of competent jurisdiction to decide.
The arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (referred to as the “AAA”) under its rules and procedures, including the AAA’s Consumer Arbitration Rules (as applicable), as modified by this Agreement to Arbitrate. The AAA’s rules are available at www.adr.org. A party who intends to seek arbitration must first send the other party, by certified mail, a completed Notice of Dispute. You should send this notice to PayPal at: PayPal, Inc., Attn: Litigation Department, Re: Notice of Dispute, 2211 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131. PayPal will send any notice to you to the address we have on file associated with your PayPal account; it is your responsibility to keep your address up to date. All information called for in the notice must be provided including a description of the nature and basis of the claims the party is asserting and the relief sought.
If you and PayPal are unable to resolve the claims described in the notice within 30 days after the notice is sent, you or PayPal may initiate arbitration proceedings. A form for initiating arbitration proceedings is available on the AAA’s website at www.adr.org.
The arbitration shall be held in the county in which you reside or at another mutually agreed location. If the value of the relief sought is $10,000 or less, you or PayPal may elect to have the arbitration conducted by telephone or based solely on written submissions, which election shall be binding on you and PayPal subject to the discretion of the arbitrator(s) to require an in-person hearing, if the circumstances warrant. In cases where an in-person hearing is held, you and/or PayPal may attend by telephone, unless the arbitrator(s) require otherwise. Any settlement offer made by you or PayPal shall not be disclosed to the arbitrator(s).
The arbitrator(s) will decide the substance of all claims in accordance with applicable law, including recognized principles of equity, and will honor all claims of privilege recognized by law. The arbitrator(s) shall not be bound by rulings in prior arbitrations involving different PayPal customers, but is/are bound by rulings in prior arbitrations involving the same PayPal customer to the extent required by applicable law. The award of the arbitrator(s) shall be final and binding, and judgment on the award rendered by the arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof.
Costs of Arbitration
Payment of all filing, administration, and arbitrator fees will be governed by the AAA’s rules, unless otherwise stated in this Agreement to Arbitrate. If the value of the relief sought is $10,000 or less, at your request, PayPal will pay all filing, administration, and arbitrator fees associated with the arbitration. Any request for payment of fees by PayPal should be submitted by mail to the AAA along with your Demand for Arbitration and PayPal will make arrangements to pay all necessary fees directly to the AAA. If the value of the relief sought is more than $10,000 and you are able to demonstrate that the costs of accessing arbitration will be prohibitive as compared to the costs of accessing a court for purposes of pursuing litigation on an individual basis, PayPal will pay as much of the filing, administration, and arbitrator fees as the arbitrator(s) deem necessary to prevent the cost of accessing the arbitration from being prohibitive. In the event the arbitrator(s) determine the claim(s) you assert in the arbitration to be frivolous, you agree to reimburse PayPal for all fees associated with the arbitration paid by PayPal on your behalf that you otherwise would be obligated to pay under the AAA’s rules.
Severability
With the exception of any of the provisions in the Prohibition of Class and Representative Actions and Non-Individualized Relief section above, if a court decides that any part of this Agreement to Arbitrate is invalid or unenforceable, the other parts of this Agreement to Arbitrate shall still apply. If a court decides that any of the provisions in the Prohibition of Class and Representative Actions and Non-Individualized Relief section above is invalid or unenforceable because it would prevent the exercise of a non-waivable right to pursue public injunctive relief, then any dispute regarding the entitlement to such relief (and only that relief) must be severed from arbitration and may be litigated in court. All other disputes subject to arbitration under the terms of the Agreement to Arbitrate shall be arbitrated under its terms.
Opt-Out Procedure
If you are a new PayPal customer, you can choose to reject this Agreement to Arbitrate by mailing us a written opt-out notice. The opt-out notice must be postmarked no later than 30 days after the date you accept this user agreement for the first time. You must mail the opt-out notice to PayPal, Inc., Attn: Litigation Department, 2211 North First Street, San Jose, CA 95131.
For your convenience, we are providing an opt-out notice form you must complete and mail to opt out of this Agreement to Arbitrate. You must complete this form by providing all the information it calls for, including your name, address, phone number, and the email address(es) used to log in to the PayPal account(s) to which the opt-out applies. You must sign the opt-out notice for it to be effective. This procedure is the only way you can opt out of the Agreement to Arbitrate. If you opt out of this Agreement to Arbitrate, all other parts of the user agreement will continue to apply. Opting out of this Agreement to Arbitrate has no effect on any previous, other, or future arbitration agreements that you may have with us.
Future Amendments to this Agreement to Arbitrate
Notwithstanding any provision in the user agreement to the contrary, you and we agree that if we make any amendment to this Agreement to Arbitrate (other than an amendment to any notice address or website link provided herein) in the future, that amendment shall not apply to any claim that was filed in a legal proceeding against PayPal prior to the effective date of the amendment. The amendment shall apply to all other disputes or claims governed by this Agreement to Arbitrate that have arisen or may arise between you and PayPal. We will notify you of amendments to this Agreement to Arbitrate by posting the amended terms on www.paypal.com at least 30 days before the effective date of the amendments and by providing notice through email. If you do not agree to these amended terms, you may close your PayPal account within the 30-day period and you will not be bound by the amended terms.

Nor does PayPal claim ownership of the content you host on third-party websites or applications that use PayPal services to provide payments services related to your content. Subject to the next paragraph, when you provide content to PayPal or post content using PayPal services, you grant PayPal (and parties that we work with) a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, and worldwide license to use your content and associated intellectual property and publicity rights to help us improve, operate and promote our current services and develop new ones. PayPal will not compensate you for any of your content. You acknowledge that PayPal’s use of your content will not infringe any intellectual property or publicity rights. Further, you acknowledge and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights of the content you provide, and you agree to waive your moral rights and promise not to assert such rights against PayPal.
License grant from sellers to PayPal
Notwithstanding the provisions of the prior paragraph, if you are a seller using the PayPal services to accept payments for goods and services, you hereby grant PayPal and its affiliates a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable (through multiple tiers), and royalty-free, fully paid-up, right to use and display publicly, during the term of this user agreement, your trademark(s) (including but not limited to registered and unregistered trademarks, trade names, service marks, logos, domain names and other designations owned, licensed to or used by you) for the purpose of (1) identifying you as a merchant that accepts a PayPal service as a payment form, and (2) any other use to which you specifically consent.

Consumer fraud warning
We’re always looking for ways to help keep you even more secure. So stay on the lookout for some of these common scams:
Spoofing: a scammer sends forged or faked electronic documents or emails falsely claiming to be PayPal or coming from PayPal but asks you to send money outside your PayPal account.
Relative in Need: a scammer impersonates a family member (commonly grandchildren) and claims there is an emergency requiring you to send money.
Lottery or Prize: a scammer informs you that you’ve won a lottery or prize and must send money in order to claim it.
Debt Collection: a scammer impersonates a debt collector and induces you to send money using threats or intimidation.
Employment Related: a scammer instructs you to send money in connection with a fraudulent offer of employment.
Always use common sense when sending money. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Only send money for yourself and not for others. Remember that if you don’t send the payment through your PayPal account, you’re not covered by PayPal Purchase Protection. Please let us know immediately if you believe someone is trying to scam or defraud you by contacting us.
Dormant accounts
If you do not log in to your PayPal account for two or more years, PayPal may close your PayPal account and send any funds in the PayPal account, including any balance in a linked Cash Account to your primary address (if we have verified the required identifying information that you have provided to us) or, if required, escheat (send) those funds to your state of residency. PayPal will determine your state of residency based on the state listed in the primary address for your PayPal account. If your address is unknown or registered in a foreign country, the funds in your PayPal account, including any balance in a linked Cash Account will be escheated to the State of Delaware. Where required, PayPal will send you a notice prior to escheating any funds in your PayPal account, including any balance in a linked Cash Account. If you fail to respond to this notice, the funds in your PayPal account, including any balance in a linked Cash Account will be escheated to the applicable state. If you would like to claim any escheated funds from the applicable state, please contact the applicable state’s unclaimed property administrator.
Governing law
You agree that, except to the extent inconsistent with or preempted by federal law and except as otherwise stated in this user agreement, the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to principles of conflict of laws, will govern this user agreement and any claim or dispute that has arisen or may arise between you and PayPal.
Identity authentication
You authorize PayPal, directly or through third parties, to make any inquiries we consider necessary to verify your identity. This may include:
asking you for further information, such as your date of birth, a taxpayer identification number, your physical address and other information that will allow us to reasonably identify you;
requiring you to take steps to confirm ownership of your email address or financial instruments;
ordering a credit report from a credit reporting agency, or verifying your information against third party databases or through other source; or
requiring you to provide your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
Anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing laws may require that PayPal verify the required identifying information if you use certain PayPal services. PayPal reserves the right to close, suspend, or limit access to your PayPal account and/or the PayPal services in the event that, after reasonable enquiries, we are unable to obtain information about you required to verify your identity.
PayPal is only a payment service provider
We act as a payment service provider only. We do not:
Act as an escrow agent with respect to any funds kept in your account;
Act as your agent or trustee;
Enter into a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship with you;
Guarantee the identity of any buyer or seller;
Determine if you are liable for any taxes; or
Unless otherwise expressly set out in this agreement, collect or pay any taxes that may arise from your use of our services.
Privacy
Protecting your privacy is very important to us. Please review our Privacy Statement in order to better understand our commitment to maintaining your privacy, as well as our use and disclosure of your information.

Most everyone is probably in agreement that the year, 2020 was an incredibly horrible year, to say the least! Beside the pandemic, and the disastrous economic shutdown, all the violent hatred in the streets of the USA, probably caused many citizens to turn off the news altogether! Not to mention, that the bitter hatred between the two major political parties, made that year unbearable, to a great degree!
.
But let’s face it! God could have stopped all of the horrible things if He wanted to! But He didn’t. Perhaps this Bible verse might help explain God’s motives for allowing these things to happen…“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” Genesis 50:20
.
Yes, Mankind (under the guiding control of “The Prince of the Power of the Air (Satan), that spirit which now dwells in the children of disobedience”) has been doing much evil this year. Even this biological virus may or may not have been developed by evil men, but certainly was not properly warned about to the world!
.
But this entire year has been a long series of evil actions, lies, hypocrisies, and corrupt motives, all heightened and intensified by a very fiercely fought and feverishly impassioned upcoming presidential election.
.
So if God has allowed all these things for our ultimate good, as this above verse indicates, then just what good can we glean from all this evil?
.
Well, as we all know, perfect eyesight is commonly referred to as “20-20 vision.
.
So, in effort to have 20-20 vision concerning the true condition of the human race, let’s explore a few various aspects of this tumultuous year to hopefully gain a clear-eyed perspective, in light of God’s Word, The Bible.
.
.
.
“that I may know how frail I am.” Psalm 39:4
.
First of all, this pandemic virus has caused alot of humanity to realize just how fleeting and temporary this life is, reminding us of the verse….“LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.” Psalm 39:4
.
Yes, when people realize how frail we really are, then they tend to look for answers to their eventual “sentence-of-death”, hopefully looking up to the Savior.
.
.
.
“the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night”
.
Almost the entire church-world has been lulled into spiritual slumber by those false teachers who deceived the flock with the notion that they would be raptured out of the world prior to the final Great Tribulation, reminding us the verses…“the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” 1st Thessalonians 5:2, 3
.
Yes, there are many verses such as this which warn us not to be deceived all those “peace and safety” preachers, concerning “the Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, which we all must go through! (Jeremiah 30:7…for more information, please click on this little article…The Time of Jacob’s Trouble, Part 9: “Rapture-Ready, or Earthly-Entangled?”)
.
Next, the economic shutdown may prove to be far more devastating to humanity than the virus. But in spite of that, the major media and many politicians are so intent on pushing their totalitarian socialism, that they are very willing to destroy this nation’s entire economy, if it means regaining political power!

In Part 1 of this topic (click here to read), it was discussed about how there are many different lifestyles and philosophies which appear to be pathways to happiness, when in truth are just devilish deceptions which ultimately lead to perdition and destruction.
.
Yes, the Devil is so much like that spider who weaves his web, in hopes of catching simple-minded insects, who believe they are entering a tunnel that leads to a desired haven.
.
Yes, that little fly is fooled by that optical illusion which the spider weaves! And though it looks like a nice pathway to travel down, it really only leads to his (or her) destruction!
And this world is the Devil’s spider-web! And that web has many silken cords!
.
Today’s devotional is a short excerpt from the Signs Of Heaven article, “Confessions of a Political Junkie”, and deals with the spider-web of politics and how hard it is to be set free of this powerful addiction…
.
.
.
.
.
THE TRAP OF POLITICS
.
Back in about 1989, as I was turning off from Date Palm Drive into my Father’s Gated Community in Cathedral City. As I was about to enter, I turned the radio dial and heard the tail-end of a conversation between an ex-rock-n-roller-turned-conservative, and a certain right-wing radio talk show host. It was very interesting and, well, frankly I agreed with the moralistic viewpoints being tossed about.
.
Well, to make a long story short, from that point onward, I became a radio talk show junkie. I began listening to these talk shows, day and night. And as a Christian, I could find much in what they were saying that I agreed with. Now, I must say, that I had previously been totally immersed in the Bible. But now, my time was divided with this new addition into my daily mental and spiritual diet. I bought a little radio, and headphones, and went through many days listening to these, “fiery preachers of apple pie, motherhood, God, and the American way”. And so, through the 1990’s, I became torn between my previous love for the Bible and my newly acquired love for politics. After some years, I even went back to watching TV (something I had given up as a new Christian, during the 80’s.) So I found a politically based news channel, and added that to my daily diet.
.
And, even though the conservative party has an element of Christianity mingled in, I nevertheless realized it was a rather nominal type of religion. It was more of a group-think moralistic religion, rather than a personal relationship with the Lord.
.
I guess the pinnacle of my habitual political bondage came to a climactic scenario, when I got into a heated exchange one sunny afternoon with my neighbor
.
What I had become was definitely NOT the purity and holiness of Jesus! And the overwhelming conviction came over me, that true Christianity points the accusing finger at my own sinful self as the “chief of sinners“, while politics points at “those people over there” as the great evil.
.
.
.
.
.
ON THE PATHWAY BACK HOME
.
“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness;” Isaiah 35:8
.
And so began the arduous sojourn back to the purity of the Gospel. And I want to tell you, it was a very long and difficult road to recovery! I had become a political junkie. I was an addict. Whenever the news came on, my heart would begin to pound with excitement. But I had to give it up. I knew that if I didn’t, I was just a Christian pretender.
.
But I knew I must overcome. And so I prayed for victory. I tried to stop listening to all these shows. Radio shows. TV shows. And nightly news. It had all become addicting and it all had to go. One day I would have victory. The next day, I would be back on it once again. This battle went on for years. And many tears were shed in prayer for my deliverance.
.
.
.
.
.
.
VICTORY CAME
.
Well, finally about 4 years ago (2008 or 2009) the Lord graciously took this addiction away. I pulled the rabbit ears off my TV, and shut off the radio.
.
I had wasted 20 years which could have been used for prayer and Bible study. I would no doubt have become much more spiritually mature, if I had only stuck with the Bible for those 20 years. Ah but now, the words of a well-known poet seem so appropriate: “The saddest words by tongue or pen are these, ‘What might have been!” (Whittier)

THE READER IS INVITED TO SCROLL DOWN THIS PAGE TO READ THE ARTICLE, “DID JIM MORRISON BREAK ON THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE?”
“For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.” Psalm 32:6
.
The majestic waves of the sea. One of the most beautiful creations in nature! The sounds of the crashing surf! The moist wind and spray upon one’s face! Truly, standing upon the sand, and facing the ocean surf overwhelms all the human senses! It’s quite an exhilarating experience to say the least!
.
But the ocean and the surf, and the sand were created by God, not merely for beauty’s sake; but also to teach. And the Bible has interwoven many aspects of nature into the Gospel story. And these various things in nature were created by God to instruct Mankind in Bible truths, both good and bad.
.
.
Waves are used in Scripture to represent both good as well as bad things. And in the black sea of the heavens, is seen a constellation of a dragon. And this dragon is spewing a wave of water out of his mouth. And this article will explore just what all this means. And the Reader is invited to come and behold secrets in the Stars, which have been hidden since Creation; but now are being revealed by God, for such a time as this. So come along and behold these grand heavenly pictures which our great God has inscribed, in the heavenly scroll, and stretched, even from sky to sky.
Part 6: “Did Jim Morrison ‘Break On Through To The Other Side’?”
.
.
.
.
.
If you look at the spider’s web, you can begin to realize it appears as a 3-dimensional tunnel. And this so-called tunnel deceives the poor little bugs which unwittingly fly right into the awaiting spider’s trap, thinking they are flying through a tunnel.
.
And in the realm of humanity, there are many ideologies and religions which appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel, but actually are Satan’s deadly trap, to imprison lost souls.
Perhaps the signature song of his band was the short tune, “Break on Through to the Other Side” in which he composed as a musical tribute to Aldous Huxley’s Book, “The Doors of Perception”which is said to be a product of and tribute to the so-called enlightening powers of hallucinogenic drugs.
.
Yes, Huxley promised that the use of mescaline, etc., could open the doors of perception within a drug-user’s mind, thrusting him or her into a so-called, “higher realm of thought”.
Thus, it was Huxley’s book (“The Doors of Perception”), which became the brain-child for the formation of Morrison’s band, “The Doors”, as well as this band’s signature song, “Break On Through To The Other Side”.
But in Morrison’s short and tumultuous encounter with world-wide fame and fortune, his out-of-control misuse of alcohol and drugs resulted in his early demise, thrusting him into the exclusive, “27 Forever Club”.
.
Unfortunately for Morrison (plus Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and other out-of-control rockers who also died at the age of 27), he will definitely not be 27 years old forever!
.
No, but rather, Morrison will merely return to, “dust in the wind”, forever, just like every other human who goes to the grave unsaved!
And truth-be-told, Jim Morrison never really broke through to the “other side” (unless of course, one wishes to consider dying as “breaking through to the other side”).
.
Because what promised to be a light at the end of the tunnel leading, to some sort of Utopian realm of thought, Morrison’s drug use only became his personal Hell, his prison cell: the prison cell of Satan’s spider-web of sin, which this selfish world is.
.
Yes, Morrison became a hopeless slave to alcohol and drugs!
.
.
.
.
.
.
SATAN’S SALESMEN
.
And even though Satan used these two men (Morrison and Huxley) to spokesmen for his evil ideologies of hullucinogenics, as well as Atheism and Socialism, nevertheless, they unknowingly led multitudes of their followers into lives of the slavery and self-destruction resulting from these evil and deceptive pursuits.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
.
BREAK ON THROUGH INTO EVERLASTING LIFE AND ENDLESS JOY!
.
But there is Good News from a far country!
.
Yes, in spite of the futility of that sad ideology named, “The Doors of Perception”, there does exist the opportunity a person to “Break on Through to The Other Side”.
.
You see, the Lord Jesus, The Son of God, provided a way of escape from this hopeless and tragic world of self-destruction and death!
.
That’s right! If a needy soul desires to “break on through”, he or she can cry out to God for Salvation, in which a truly higher realm of faith and love can be achieved, in which a highway leading out of this sad world will appear in the Believer’s mind’s eye…
.
“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness…the redeemed shall walk there…And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” Isaiah 35:8-10 (condensed for brevity and clarity)
.
Yes, if we truly desire to “break on through to the other side”, we can break on through Heaven’s awaiting opened doors, which lead to everlasting life in the wonderful Promised Land, The New Heaven and New Earth. (see Revelation 21:1)
.
And every enslaved soul can break free of their captivity to sin and selfishness! And not only can we become liberated from every form of enslaving addiction, but we can escape the same fate which Morrison and Huxley eventually suffered: death!
.
Listen to the Bible…“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create…And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Isaiah 65:17, 18 & Revelation 21:4
.
Yes, in this joy-filled land, we can live happily ever-after. And we will never perish, but will be forever young!
Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment:
Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters:
Who maketh the clouds His chariot:
Who walketh upon the wings of the wind:”
Psalm 104:1-3
.
.
.
.
.
.
In the winter-night skies, this most amazing constellation can be seen. It is called “The Chariot of Orion Constellation”.
.
Yes, this most remarkable constellation is spoken of in Psalm 104…
“O LORD my God,
Thou art very great;
Thou art clothed with honour and majesty.
Who coverest Thyself with light as with a garment:
Who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain:
Who layeth the beams of His chambers in the waters:
Who maketh the clouds His chariot:
Who walketh upon the wings of the wind:”
Psalm 104:1-3
.
As this star-chart reveals, Orion, along with the Beta-star from the Eridanus Constellation, depicts Orion riding on a chariot made of clouds, being pulled by sheep.
.
.
.
.
.
.
WHY SHEEP?
.
Now, the reason why sheep are illustrated in those clouds, is because, when viewing Eridanus in the night-sky, one can see that it appears like sheep (however, not so much when looking at a star-chart).
.
And, one reason for clouds is because the chariot wheel is only partially represented by stars.
.
In other words, this constellation is incomplete, as far as the wheel has been depicted by our Creator Who fashioned it in the day when He created this constellation.
.
And so, because Eridanus has these sheep-like, cloud-like curves, and the partial wheel, the natural inclination was that God fashioned this constellation to depict Psalm 104’s description…“Who maketh the clouds His chariot”.
Now, Psalm 104 is not the only passage which speaks to this constellation.
.
No, but like the other Heavenly constellations which God created in the stars, this particular constellation depicts various other Bible passages.
.
One such related passage is found in Psalm 45…
…”Gird Thy sword upon Thy thigh, O Most Mighty,
with Thy glory and Thy majesty.
And in Thy majesty ride prosperously
because of truth and meekness and righteousness;
and Thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
Thine arrows are sharp in the heart of the king’s enemies;
whereby the people fall under Thee.”
Psalm 45:3-5
.
Yes, looking at Orion, his incredible sword sheath, comprised of two stars plus the famous “Horse-head Nebula”, is spoken of in Psalm 45:3… “Gird Thy sword upon Thy thigh, O Most Mighty…”.
.
But this psalm also speaks of Orion riding “prosperously”.
.
And verse 5 mentions sharp arrows “in the heart of the King’s enemies”, also depicted as Orion is shooting his arrow in the heart area of the Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation.
But this Chariot of Orion speaks of another Bible truth, found in Psalm 68:17…
…”The chariots of God are twenty thousand,
even thousands of angels…”
.
And so, this chariot of “clouds of witnesses”, combines very nicely with this above verse from Psalm 68…“The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels”.
.
Yes, the Bible speaks of angels as stars, but also speaks of Believers as stars (see Revelation 12:4 & Daniel 12:3).
.
And so, this Chariot made up of stars speaks most eloquently of the great truth concerning God’s vast host of Heaven and Earth…
In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But having said this, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus, will the Christian be able to share this message with others.
The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).
.
These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).
.
And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).
.
These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.
.
Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.
Bill Federer gave a most incredible interview regarding the historical transformation of this once-Christian nation into a secularist/socialist nation. Obviously, he does this from a Christian perspective.
.
This American historian, Bill Federer, highlighted the fierce battle now being waged for the soul of this nation. The forces of atheism/socialism/communism are fighting against the forces of christianism/republicanism/capitalism/. But this antichristian takeover has been going on for a much longer period of time than most people realize. And Federer presents a concise account of how socialism/atheism began its gradual takeover of this nation.
.
And this radio interview is extremely insightful as to the long string of events which has led to socialism/atheism becoming the dominating power in the west Nevertheless, the listener to this radio interview must keep in mind that Satan is working around the clock, pulling the strings of this growing beast power, controlling the unsanctified minds of leaders of this movement as well as the minds of the general populace. Yes, the spirit of antichrist is now working in all those who are so willing to be put into bondage to this totalitarian, antichrist, beast-power, known as the 6th Head of the Revelation 13 Beast.
.
Of course, those who are familiar with this website realize that these two political entities are actually the 6th and 7th Head of the Antichrist Beast of Revelation 13 (For greater insight, read such articles, as, Floodwaters of the False Prophet: Socialism/Humanitarianism)
.
In other words, this civil war between those two political factions is not merely a battle between humans, but as Ephesian 6 reveals…“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Ephesians 6:12
.
Yes, this above passage reveals that it is actually Satan and his vast invisible evil-angelic host, who are the true instigators of this battle, as they work behind the scenes through unsuspecting humans, as useful pawns, mere puppets, to carry out his ongoing deadly warfare upon the human race.
.
Nevertheless, this 1-hour radio interview helps to understand how the very nations which once, lovingly embraced the Christian Reformation have now rejected Christianity, and are bringing upon themselves the same Judgment of God which once destroyed the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah.
.
And so, the Reader is invited to listen to this very insightful interview with Bill Federer, as he spoke to the host of Crosstalk…

There are many erroneous ideas about Satan out there in the world. Most people, of course, are steeped in unbelief that there even exists a literal Devil! But many others have the opinion that Satan exists primarily in the dark corners of the world, such as in the occult and black magic. And of course, wherever there is overt evil in the world, it is often attributed to Satan. . And to be sure, Satan does indeed work in the occult world. And wherever there is overt evil you can be sure that Satan is not very far away! . But what very few people understand about Lucifer, that fallen rebel angel, now given the office and title of Satan, The Devil, or the Revelation 12 Dragon, is revealed in the following verse…”for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness” 2nd Corinthians 6:13-15
.
Here we see that Satan and his followers, be they humans or fallen angels, are transformed into “angels of light” and “ministers of righteousness”, as this above verse states.
.
In other words, we live in a selfish world which is in rebellion against the selfless and loving ways of Heaven. And yet, there seems to be a whole lot of humanitarianism going on in this world of woe. And there are a whole lot of very friendly people, nearly everywhere you turn!
.
And in the western nations, there is even an entire political/social faction which prides itself as being merciful, and compassionate. And this vast organization is a very powerful entity, controlling the the political/social landscape of much of the western nations.
.
But what these secularists do not understand is that without Christ’s Holy Spirit, there can be no true compassion or mercy. Oh yes, from time to time, the Lord does work through unsaved humans, to show mercy on various occasions.
.
But mostly the counterfeit compassion of that political/social entity is co-mingled with more and more anger, violence, and totalitarianism.
.
Yes, this vast collection of various political, social, and even religious groups, who call themselves, “liberal, and compassionate”, are only revealing that their brand of mercy and compassion is as phony as the proverbial “three-dollar bill”, as they increasingly engage in mob-like hatred against those who oppose their totalitarian world-view.
.
Well, if we really desire to understand this vast throng of love-pretenders, we need to go to the Bible, which prophesy’s of a “False Prophet” that goes out into the world in these last days. Yes, this beast-like product of Satan has two horns like a lamb, and yet speaks as a dragon, which is what we are now seeing out in today’s world. No, it is not one single individual, but is an antichrist spirit which pervades society.
.
And one thing about false prophets: they are seemingly very compassionate people, which fools the general populace who are not well-grounded in Bible wisdom. As Scripture speaks of false prophets…”his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords” Psalm 55:21
.
So, while most Christians are looking for a single individual to fulfill this prophecy concerning the False Prophet, they do not consider that when Scripture speaks of “beasts”, it is often referring to a vast army, in this case, a political/social spirit which pervades which goes out into the world!
.
But God is faithful, an00d is allowing these so-called people-of-compassion to reveal their true dragon-like underbelly, as they become increasingly violent and hateful, and totalitarian. Yes, Satan and his antichrist spirit is working in and through the vast populace, primarily in the western nations, to create this False Prophet spirit which “deceives the whole world” into believing that the “lost souls/people of the world basically have good hearts”, when the Bible tells us just the opposite…”the whole world lieth in wickedness…there is none that doeth good, no, not one!”. (1st John 5:19 & Romans 3:10)
.
Well, the Good News is that today is still the day of Salvation. And all those who desire to be filled with true love and genuine compassion (which is not the least bit evil) can call out to the Savior of the world for His grace, mercy, peace, and true love, made possible through the abiding Spirit of Christ who indwells every man, woman, and child who truly becomes “Born Again” and receives “a new heart”. (see John 3 & Ezekiel )

“For I could wish that myself were accursed…for…my kinsmen”
Romans 9, (The Apostle, Paul, speaking of “Israel, according to the flesh”)
.
Now, should Christians have a yearning in their hearts for “Israel-after-the-flesh”? Of course they should! And even though we know that God will never re-institute His sacrificial system in the nation of Israel (they themselves may do so), nevertheless, our prayers and hope is for the Salvation of each and every Jew!
.
And it is really disingenuous for the apostate church-world to hang upon our necks, their unbiblical and derogatory tag, “replacement theology”, and make the false claim that we hate the Jews or are anti-Zionists! Just because we understand that the Bible is a spiritual Book, filled with shadows, types, proverbs, and allegories. In other words, these apostate Bible teachers try to condemn anyone who believes that Old Testament Israel was a spiritual type or shadow of all those in the Kingdom of God.

This above passage sings of Mount Zion, in the sides of the North!
.
But if one looks to the Northeast in late Summer and into Fall, there is a constellation which God created to be a heavenly picture of the Heavenly Mount Zion.
.
And it is commonly known as Cassiopeia. But God has created it to symbolize the true Zion, which is in Heaven.
.
Listen…“But ye are come unto mount Sion,
and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to an innumerable company of angels,”
Hebrews 12:22
.
Yes, Jerusalem and Mount Zion here on earth are merely earthly types, to represent the true Heavenly Jerusalem and Heavenly Mount Zion.
.
ABOVE STAR-CHART – Fall Constellations – Heavenly Mount Zion Constellation (Cassiopeia Constellation) – signsofheaven – Not for commercial profit use!

.
LOCATING HEAVENLY MOUNT ZION
.
But if the Reader will go out in August and well into November, this wonderful constellation can be seen in the Northeast night-sky.
.
But don’t wait too long! Because once it enters the western sky, it flips upside down and can no longer be seen as a mountain.
.
And likewise, don’t wait too long to make up your mind to follow Jesus, because the Valley of Decision within your own heart may also disappear!
.
Now, this constellation is the very same constellation as the Mount of Blessing Constellation in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group…
…And it represents the favored mountain to which the people of God are to climb.
.
ABOVE PICTURE – Fall Constellations – Valley of Decision Constellation & Revelation 12 Dragon
.
.
.
.
.
.
“ALL MY SPRINGS ARE IN THEE”
Psalm 87:7
.
“His (God’s) foundation is in the holy mountains.
The LORD loveth the gates of Zion
more than all the dwellings of Jacob.
Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah.
And of Zion it shall be said,
This and that man was born in her:
and the Highest Himself shall establish her.
The LORD shall count, when He writes up the people,
that this man was born there. Selah.
As well the singers as the players on instruments shall be there:
all My springs are in thee.”
Psalm 87:1-7
.
In this above Psalm 87, God reveals that God’s “foundation is in the HolyMountain” of Zion.
.
And then, God goes on to reveal two camps of persons: those who ARE NOT born in Zion, and those who ARE born within her gates.
.
And those who are born in her gates, God will write them among His people!
.
This, of course can only be understood spiritually, referring to Salvation: those who have it being born in Zion, and those who do not have Salvation.
.
.
In other words, Salvation can be found nowhere else, certainly not in any other religion nor in any false gospel!
.
.
.
.
.
MULTITUDES IN THE VALLEY OF DECISION
.
Listen…
“Multitudes, multitudes in the Valley of Decision:
for the day of the LORD is near in the Valley of Decision.
The sun and the moon shall be darkened,
and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
The LORD also shall roar out of Zion,
and utter His voice from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth shall shake:
but the LORD will be the hope of His people,
and the strength of the children of Israel.”
Joel 3:14-16
.
Now this above passage speaks of multitudes in the Valley of Decision.
.
And it can be seen on this sketch that a certain galaxy appears to be climbing up this Mount Zion Constellation.
.
This galaxy is commonly known as the Andromeda Galaxy.
.
And it is made of an estimated trillion stars, which certainly qualifies as a “multitude”!
Now, the Bible prophesies that Mount Zion will be a much sought-after mountain in the last days.
.
Listen…
“For there shall be a day,
that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry,
‘Arise ye, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God’….
Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion…
and they shall not sorrow any more at all.”
Jeremiah 31:6, 12
.
So here above is veiled, allegorical language which speaks of certain day, in which God’s people will all come and “sing in the height of Zion”.
.
ABOVE PICTURE – winter Constellations – Woman of Revelation 12 (Ursa Major) flees to the mountains – Mark 13:14 – Dragon comprised of Hyades, Pleiades, etc…Valley of Decision mountain comprised of Cassiopeia, etc… (This is not a star-chart, but merely a concept picture since this mountain is not in this position, but is actually seen in the fall months)

“SINGING UNTO ZION”
.
Listen again, as we hear the sound of singing…
“Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,
and come with singing unto Zion;
and everlasting joy shall be upon their head:
they shall obtain gladness and joy;
and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.”
Isaiah 51:11
.
Yes, that day has now come, and God is revealing this wonderful Sign Of Heaven, which appears as a beautiful diadem and an ensign in the night-heavens, sitting as a glorious city on a hill.
.
And God’s people and anyone who is tired of this sad, selfish, and hopeless world are now invited to come to Zion, “the city of our solemnities: thine eyes shall see Jerusalem a quiet habitation,” Isaiah 33:20
The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.
.
In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart…“Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heavenbecomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike these people in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus will the Christian be able to share this message with others. And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.

(CONTINUING FROM PART 1, CLICK HERE TO READ)…But true love is not a pick-n-choose buffet, in which we merely take what we like and refuse the rest! No, to use a modern-day expression, love, true love is a, “package deal”. Love is a holistic virtue. It encompasses our whole life! It rules our entire heart! It is an entire spectrum of different virtues!
.
In 1st Corinthians 13, Paul explains this holistic concept to the Corinthians, who merely desired the miraculous gift of speaking in “other languages”, and yet had little inclination for the deep indwelling of Christ’s love…
.
Listen to Paul… “But…show I unto you a more excellent way! Though I speak with the tongues (other languages) of men and of angels…And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profits me nothing!
“Charity (love) suffers long, and is kind; charity envies not; charity vaunts (forces) not itself, is not puffed up, Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil; Rejoices not in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Charity (agape love) never fails:” 1st Corinthians 12:31-13:8
.
This above passage begins to give us a picture of true love, showing that it transcends the mere outward acts of self-sacrifice! True love is a lamp which shines brightly within the heart. True ‘agape’ love actuates every aspect of the life. It cannot truly exist where the heavenly virtues of the heart do not exist!
.
Patience, contentment, humbleness, selflessness, meekness, faith, long-suffering, humility, purity, kindness, gentleness: these are among the accompanying virtues which must be present at all times, for true love to exist!
.
And the fact is, most persons who attempt to become humanitarians do not possess such an all-encompassing self-sacrificing love of Jesus. Our personalities are still infected with sin: impatience, harshness, pride, faithlessness, wantonness, commonness, lust, intemperance, greed, and other similar qualities. And so, our acts of giving are tainted by these aforementioned sins, thus spoiling any true ministry of love to others…
.
Listen again… “And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity (love), it profits me nothing!” 1st Corinthians 13:3
Socialism must exist where there is financial prosperity. And so, Satan knew that it could not exist on a mass scale, prior to the industrial age. He realized that during the earlier centuries, people just barely survived financially, and were in no mind to be supporting others on a large scale.
.
In other words, most people only give out of their abundance. This reality is showcased in the Bible’s account of the Widow’s Mite… “And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing.” Mark 12:41, 42
.
Jesus used this incident to be a teaching moment, about just what is true generosity. In other words, to merely give without self-sacrificial love is not true generosity. And this is the futility of most of today’s socialism. Today’s socialism requires no true love. It merely taxes wealthy people, and then, for the most part, just gives that money to its recipients (withholding the majority of the collected taxes for bureaucratic expenses, etc…. )
.
Listen to Jesus, as He summarizes this encounter with the widow and her two-mite offering… “And He called unto Him His disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living.” Mark 12:43, 44
.
God takes very little pleasure in superficial giving. Because God does not measure generosity by dollar amount, but by the ‘agape’ love which springs forth from the heart!
.
But there are so many today, who pay their tithes and offerings, withholding enough to continue living in pleasure and wantonness! All such giving is mere an exercise in futility!
As most people know, the Kingdom of Heaven is not about being high-profile! No, just the opposite!
.
Listen to Jesus…“Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven. Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward.” Matthew 6:1, 2
.
This above passage was spoken by Jesus in His famous, Sermon On The Mount.
.
Here is presented a common problem seen in so much of today’s humanitarianism. Far too many businesses get involved in charities, merely for the purpose of promoting their company. And this hypocritical “charity” is quite often the motivation for individuals, as well.
.
In other words, so many attempt to get involved in some career or humanitarian cause, partly or wholly for the purpose of self-exaltation. Yes, our private, personal lives may be filled with all sorts of selfish desires. And yet, we can still receive public praise by our supposed humanitarian career or charitable volunteerism!
The three great sins of Mankind are listed in the 1st Epistle of John, Chapter 2, verse 16… “For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.”
.
Yes, the lusts of the flesh, and the lusts of the eyes, are somewhat easy to discern in people. But the pride of life is not so easy to discern. Because it quite often is connected with pursuits that have what the Bible refers to as, “a form of godliness”.
.
Listen… “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF: from such turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:1-5
.
So after naming all these horrible sins, Paul concludes by saying, “a form of godliness”. But godliness without the Holy Spirit is just another form of evil. And it appeals especially to those who are proud in heart!
The Pharisees were an elevated class of religious leaders back in the days of Christ’s earthly ministry. They were those who were very moral and correct. And they were well-schooled in theology. And they were held in high-esteem by the common people of that day.
.
But the Pharisees were not “born again”. And so, all their correctness, and all their morality was merely an outward goodness. Listen to Jesus, as he rebuked the Pharisees for their outward cleanliness… “Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess. Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.” Matthew 23:25, 26
.
Yes, the Pharisees looked good on the outside, but their outward cleanliness and correctness were merely a pretensive shroud for their inward wickedness!
And so, the world (and worldly Christians) engage in what is called “cheap righteousness”, in which we merely give a portion of our time and money to some charitable cause, while at the same time, continuing to live out our selfish, world-loving lives! Oh yes, this is broad-brushing. Yes, there are perhaps a few of those who actually devote their entire life to some charity. And God knows the true motivation of their heart! And we are not to judge any individual!
.
But this concept of giving out of our abundance is illustrated in a parable which Jesus told about a rich man, who, “fared sumptuously every day. And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.” Luke 16:20, 21
.
This story applies very well to so much of what is going on today! We who live in this cornucopian super-society, merely toss our proverbial “bread crumbs” at those in need, while continuing to live, “sumptuously every day!”
.
So what was the outcome for that rich man in Jesus’ parable? Listen… “the rich man also died, and was buried; And in Hell he lift up his eyes…” Luke 16:21, 22.
.
Oh yes, this was merely a parable. But God here, is trying to drive home the point about our meager giving.
Many have the erroneous notion that Satan is a totally evil entity. Well, yes, Satan is totally evil. But he’s intelligent enough to realize that he cannot sell his poison to humanity, unless he sugar-coats it. And so, Satan must disguise, not only himself, but also masquerade his workers, transforming them into, “those good guys, wearing white hats”!
.
Listen… “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” 2nd Corinthians 11:13-15
.
This above passage let’s us know, in no uncertain terms, that Satan and his people will masquerade themselves, coming to us as, “good guys, wearing white hats”, as the saying goes!
There is a little account in which God exposes the hypocrisy of today’s socialistic communitarianism, in what happened in former times.
.
Listen… “The hands of the pitiful women have sodden their own children: they were their meat in the destruction of the daughter of My people.” Lamentation 4:10
.
In this above account, God reveals that tender, loving mothers actually cooked their own children and ate them, during a time of extreme hunger. And this same unbelievable atrocity has occurred at other various times of extreme famine, throughout history.
.
And so, God is showing us that He is not impressed in the slightest, with all our supposed sympathies for our children. It is as superficial as any other so-called “human compassion” which currently goes on in society. In other words, when the economy totally dries up, so will human sympathy, to a great extent.
.
And in the days ahead, this same unspeakable cannibalism will probably be repeated!
“And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.” John 3:19
.
When Jesus came to this earth, His mission was to show the universe an example of what true agape love is. The Cross is a symbol of what it means to give all, for our fellow-man! Unselfish love came down in the form of man, and walked amidst this selfish world.
.
And the light and glory of this kind of total goodness exposed our own superficial goodness to the point, that we tried to exterminate Him, and get Him out of our sight!
When the people of the world attempt to have “a form of godliness”, we do not realize that we are tampering with forbidden things. In other words, to want to be righteous, without surrendering to God, is a very dangerous thing.
.
Listen… “And when they came to Nachon’s threshingfloor, Uzzah put forth his hand to the ark of God, and took hold of it; for the oxen shook it. And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Uzzah; and God smote him there for his error; and there he died by the ark of God.” 2nd Samuel 6:6, 7
.
In this above passage, God is perhaps presenting a giant concept about becoming a “do-gooder”, by our own human strength. Uzzah presumed to think that God needed his help in steadying the Ark. Uzzah should have either allowed the Ark to fall, or not fall.
.
And so it is with Mankind. We have chosen to rebel against Heaven’s government of Love. So then, why are we trying to retain some of that love, and yet reject the only source of true love…God? It can’t be done!
And doesn’t it seem like, the more Man tries to conquer evil and its consequences, the worse that the situation becomes in this world?
.
For instance, doesn’t it seem like, the more food baskets we hand out, the more that hunger increases? The more sick people we attempt to cure, the more sick people there are in the world? The more we attempt to control the population, the greater the population increases? The more welfare checks we give out, the more people there are who need a hand-out? The more cultures we try to embrace, the more we are hated? The more we attempt to stop violence, the more violence there is in the world?
.
Yes, Mankind, by attempting good works, while remaining in rebellion against Heaven, is attempting to touch the Ark of God, just like presumptuous Uzzah! But God is not allowing us to get away with it! By all our vain attempts at “good works”, we are only bringing a greater curse on this planet!
.
Yes, the False Prophet loves good works, as false prophets usually do. It gives him an air of righteousness. And of course, Satan is that False Prophet spoken of in Revelation 13.
When scolding His people, the Lord compared them to “Sodom”, saying… “Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister “Sodom”, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.” Ezekiel 16:49
.
Notice here that one of God’s complaints was the “Sodom” did not strengthen the hand of the poor. And so, God knew it was important to do more than merely hand out money and food to the poor. The best thing to do, would be to teach the poor various work skills. But with welfare and food stamps, the poor have little incentive to enter the workplace. This is just human nature.
There is an old saying, “Being caught between a rock and a hard spot”. And this saying applies very well to the place which society is in today! There really is no good answer to our dilemma, as far as this world is concerned. In other words, there an increasing number of people in the world today, who are really hurting and desperately needy! And so, just what can we do?
.
By continuing to try to solve the great issues of the world situation, we are only “adding fuel to the fire”, so to speak. That is, by attempting to do good without God’s Spirit, we are only bringing even more judgment down upon our world.
.
But how can we just sit by and let all those millions of needy souls go hungry, or thirsty, or sick?
Actually, there is much that a Christian can do! Listen to James… “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16
.
To pray for and to financially support ministries that preach the soul-saving Gospel of Christ to the world, is the very best way for those of us living in affluent nations, to help this hurting world! Yes, when a man, woman, or child becomes Born-Again, that soul teams up with all the resources of Heaven! And God promises wisdom and power to every child of Jesus. So our finances are much better spent to send forth the Gospel, than to merely supply food and clothing!
This horrible world condition isn’t going to get any better! It’s only going to get worse! And we can try to relieve the suffering in the world. But until the day when the whole human race is ready to fall to our knees and confess our sinfulness and rebellion, this nightmare, called Planet Earth, is only going to get worse!
.
But we cannot wait until there’s a mass repentance around the world! No, it is up to you and to myself, to “fall to my knees”, and plead with God for His mercy and grace! As one person put it, “a church revival begins in the mirror!”
“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke? Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily:” Isaiah 58:6-8
.
Here is a passage which most people look at, and immediately take literally. But scripture must be compared with scripture and spiritual things with spiritual, to rightly understand. For instance, just look at Jesus. Did Jesus ever clothe a naked person, in his ministry? Not one! So how did Jesus fulfill this command to clothe the naked?
.
Listen… “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, He hath covered me with the robe of righteousness” Isaiah 61:10
.
So Jesus has clothed the spiritually naked with His “robe of righteousness”
Now do we ever read of Jesus visiting those in prison? Well, when Jesus heard that John had been cast into prison, did He go and visit him? No He didn’t!
.
But listen to this… “The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me; because the LORD hath anointed Me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;” Isaiah 61:1
.
Again, Jesus has freed those who are locked up in Satan’s prison-house of sin and selfishness.
.
Now does this make it wrong to literally go visit someone in prison? Of course not! By all means, go and visit those who are incarcerated. But we must keep in mind that the whole world is locked up in prison: Satan’s prison.
.
Listen… “Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:34-36
.
And so, whoever will receive the Gospel of Salvation, and continues in Christ’s Word, will be freed from sin and Satan!
We actually never see Jesus feeding the hungry! Oh yes, twice he fed those who came to hear Him preach. But even though they were indeed hungry, they were not like those in Africa, who are living in extreme famine and/or poverty. No, those whom Jesus fed were in a similar circumstance as those partaking of an after-church potluck.
.
So then, just how did Jesus feed the hungry?
.
Listen… “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to Me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on Me shall never thirst.” John 6:35
.
So the bread that Jesus gives, feeds and satisfies the hungering soul. So is it wrong to give a food basket to the hungry? Of course not! But just make sure that you yourself are not starving for lack of the bread of life for by spending copious amounts of time studying/contemplating upon God’s Word, the Bible!
There are many who read such verses as James, and decide to make this the centerpiece of their gospel.
.
Listen to James… “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.” James 2:14-17
.
Yes, of course we are to help out those who are in physical need. But we need to keep our priorities straight. The Gospel of Salvation is to be our main ministry. But quite often, humanitarian ministries are more concerned about physical needs than they are about Salvation.
There are many who have a great desire to engage in some form of humanitarianism, but have little regard for Salvation. But, because they have never personally experienced the great joy of Salvation, they do not know how priceless and wonderful is that Heavenly gift! And so, when they look out at the great needs of humanity, they do not feel the great need of Salvation for the lost souls all around! They are more concerned for the temporal need, than for the eternal need.
.
Oh yes, Jesus was concerned for the physical needs of humanity. But He saw a much greater need: Salvation!
There are many in the Church who have never truly become a disciple of Jesus. And as a result, they cannot enjoy any meaningful communion with Him. Nor do they have a love for Bible study. And so, the one thing they can do, is to volunteer for some religious duty. Thus is their guilty soul comforted, but only just a little.
.
And they figure that some good works might please God. And such a sad situation is the catalyst for their volunteerism.
King David had a brush with humanitarianism, when he sought out a lone survivor of King Saul, to show kindness to. Finally, David found one crippled man, Mephibosheth, and brought him into the king’s court to live out the rest of his life, eating daily at the king’s table. A pretty nice humanitarian thing for David to do, wouldn’t you agree?
.
Well, this went just fine. But later on, David saw a beautiful woman, and committed adultery with her. Then, to cover his shame, David had her husband mudered. Well, news of this spread throughout Israel, bringing even more shame on David.
.
The point is, that whatever good that David did to Mephibosheth was more than cancelled out by the evil he later did to Bathsheba’s husband by having him murdered. And so it is with so much of today’s socialism and humanitarianism.
.
We want to do some kindness to one group of people, but then we oppress somebody else.
.
For instance, the government decides to give money to poor people. But in the end, the poor people lose their desire to work, since they can just stay home and collect free money and food. What those poor people really needed was job training, by which they could have earned a living by honest labor. And so, our socialism became a bigger snare than if we merely provided jobs for the poor.
The Apostle, Peter, likewise blundered into an act of humanitarianism, when he scolded Jesus for wanting to give His life upon the Cross. And thankfully, Jesus didn’t listen to Peter’s “well-meaning” advice!
.
But instead of commending Peter, Jesus rebuked Peter… “But He (Jesus) turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto Me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.” Matthew 16:23
.
Satan was actually the force behind Peter’s humanitarian effort.
The Apostle, Paul was given to be an earthly role-model. Oh yes, Jesus is our divine role-model. But God thought it necessary to provide another lessor example of what He expects out of us.
.
Listen to Paul’s exhortation for us to do what we see that he did… “Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.” Philippians 4:9
.
And so, as we examine the life of Paul, we can get a clearer picture of what the Christian life is all about.
.
But notice, that when Paul received his commission from God, he did not begin some earthly, humanitarian ministry. Paul did not begin collecting donations for the hungry, or the naked, or those in prison. No, Paul instead, began to preach Salvation to lost souls. He began to raise up churches.
.
Oh yes, he did receive donations for some of the poorer churches. But this humanitarianism was restricted to the confines of the churches. And it received only a brief mention in his epistles. But he certainly did not make it into some ongoing ministry, as we see happening today! Salvation of souls, and his own personal heart-purification were at the very top of Paul’s list of everyday priorities.
The one thing that Satan fears, more than any other thing, is to see people begin to open their Bibles, with the intent of getting to know Jesus.
.
Listen… “And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.” John 17:3
.
Satan is not so bothered by humanitarianism. As a matter of fact, he likes humanitarianism! It just gives his evil kingdom a nice glossy outward shine!
.
And so, it is Satan’s purpose to derail any person from seeking that true saving knowledge of God, which converts hearts and transforms lives into the likeness of Jesus. And whatever possible way he can derail a Christian from seeking that true saving knowledge of Christ, that is his goal.
And so, in this last few centuries, Satan has attacked the very nations which once lovingly embraced the Christian Reformation, by turning this world into a place with many glittering attractions.
.
Yes, this present world is full of many interesting pleasures and pursuits, enough to keep a person busy for a lifetime!
.
There are places to go, things to see, books to study, high-tech devices to immerse one’s self in, houses to buy, gardens to grow, careers to pursue, clubs to join, sports-teams to cheer, things to buy, games to play, politics to follow, and myriad more diversions, to keep lost souls busy, busy, busy, until they go down to their graves in a hopelessly lost condition!
And Satan has a diversionary attack-plan just tailor-made for each and every man, woman, and child, born into his kingdom of the world. Maybe for one person, he can drown them in alcohol and drugs. Another person, he can mesmerize by television watching. Another person he can immerse in career-pursuits. Still another Satan can divert into politics. This is what today’s world is all about! These, and many more diversions and deceptions, are the way that “the god of this world”will attempt to keep from seeking after a saving knowledge of God.
.
And there are many who must be diverted into humanitarianism.
And let’s face it, Satan really tries to glorify humanitarianism! Just look at all the television shows, which over the last fifty years have glorified humanitarianism! Shows about firemen. Shows about policemen, shows about doctors, shows about so many aspects of this world. Yes, television has been used by “the god of this world”, to glorify his kingdom! Satan can take any aspect of this selfish world, and by use of swelling strains of music, colorful lighting, charismatic actors, and a sympathetic story-line, can make even the most selfish people, places and things appear wonderful, even a bit magical!
.
And so, we must not be so naive! We need to become “wise as serpents (yet harmless as doves)”, in seeing through the tinsel-like facade of Satan’s many deceptions!
.
.
.
.
.
NOT TO JUDGE INDIVIDUAL HEARTS
.
Now every child of God knows that we cannot be pointing the finger at the world, for whatever they do. That’s not our job. And neither do we know what is the source of motivation of the heart, that makes certain people do this or that. No, our job is merely to preach the Gospel, and let the world take care of their own.
.
Listen to Jesus as He spoke to His disciples… “If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.” John 15:19
.
“The world would love his own”, as this above verse reveals. The world takes care of worldly needs.
.
But our commission from Heaven, is to spread the Good News of Salvation!
The Bible speaks of a highway called, “The Way of Holiness” (Isaiah 35:8). This spiritual pathway leads out of this world, and onward and upward to God’s Celestial City, of everlasting life.
.
All are invited and encouraged to be a spiritual sojourn out of this world, along this gently ascending highway of holiness. And though our mortal bodies must remain in this world for a few more years, yet our hearts may enjoy a place in heaven right now!
.
But we must choose which world we will live for. We can’t have both worlds. We must choose one world or the other!
.
Oh yes, the False Prophet, Satan has many counterfeit gospels which offer both worlds. But the one true Gospel is called the Narrow Way! Because only those who forsake this world, with all its glittering tinsel-like treasures and pleasures can enter in through that Narrow Gate, and begin their trek onward and upward, away from this hopelessly dying world, toward the Everlasting Promised Land!
.
Oh yes, we must still work and provide for the needs and comfort and contentment of our family. But our hearts will nevertheless be focused upon the glorious Prize which awaits all those who overcome the world!
.
.
.
.
.
A NEW HEART
.
This article has tried to impress the importance of receiving a new heart. And as already stated, to engage in “good works”, without receiving an entirely new heart is futile…
.
Listen… “And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profits me nothing!” 1st Corinthians 13:3
.
Without true love, good works such as humanitarianism are meaningless. Love, true agape love is the sole possession of God. And God only bestows the gift of true agape love upon those who become born again: who receive “a new heart”…
.
Listen again… “A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put My spirit within you, and cause you to walk in My statutes, and ye shall keep My judgments, and do them.” Ezekiel 36:26, 27
.
So here above, we see that we must receive a new heart. And this happens when we become, “born again”.
There is a battle going on, between the Christ and Satan! But where is this battle occurring? In the mind! And in the treasure-chest of the mind, “the heart”!
.
Oh yes, the entire world is Satan’s kingdom. And the deceptions are literally everywhere in this world! But the conflict between the Spirit of Christ and the spirit of Antichrist goes on in the mind!

EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW
.
It appears that the entire human race is on a journey.
.
Listen to this prophecy, concerning the Day of Judgment… “for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:10, 11
.
So as this above verse reveals, every human who ever lived will bow before Jehovah God, admitting that we were wrong, and that God was right.
For those who have been walking the upward pathway of truth, it is needless to mention that time is short. But none of us know exactly how little time is left. Perhaps in years past, more time could have been devoted to various humanitarian ministries, plus other Christian endeavors.
.
But the message of the prophet, Habakkuk is to “RUN!” And the message of Matthew 24:15-22 is to “FLEE!” God is not merely warning us, while at the same time, giving us a wink. No, God is dead serious! We are at the time when all earthly things are about to be burned up.
.
Our personal Salvation is of utmost priority! To waste precious time is not an option! We must be fully engaged in the purification of the heart, even as Christ is pure! Bible study, plus 24/7/365 prayer and contemplation of God’s Word is an absolute necessity!
.
May the Lord give us mercy and grace to be watchful unto prayer, and to hurry into the doors of mercy which are about to close!
“Lift up your eyes on high, and behold Who hath created these things; that brings out their host by number: He calls them all by names by the greatness of His might, for that He is strong in power; not one faileth.” Isaiah 40:26
The above verse is a plea from God to look up at the Heavens and behold Who has created these things.
.
In this busy work-a-day world, there are many very interesting things which can occupy one’s time and energy: hobbies, and careers, and entertainments and worries, and habits, to name just a few.
.
But as the child of God devotes his or her life to God, there should be a jealous guarding of one’s own heart… “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23.
.
The Christian wants nothing to get in the way of running that Christian Race.
But having said this, there is one hobby which every ‘Noble Berean’ may take up, which only compliments the pursuit of the heavenly Prize.
.
Yes, Signs Of Heaven becomes a wonderfully rewarding hobby which, unlike many less meaningful hobbies, pays off with rich, heavenly rewards. Everlasting rewards!
.
And unlike the person in this photo with equipment, all you need is fairly good vision, and a dark, starry night.
.
And once a person really gets to know these heavenly messengers, it will become very apparent that the message connected with these signs is truly a message to be heeded.
.
Thus will the Christian be able to share this message with others. And there are perhaps many nuances and hidden biblical truths to these signs which have yet to be discovered.
“And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;” Luke 21:25
Now if you’re fortunate enough to be able to go on nightly walks, and you live in an area where you can safely view the stars, here is another Heavenly Hobby which Signs Of Heaven endorses…
.
Why not combine star-watching with prayer, as you walk? What a great way to draw closer to God!
.
It cannot be over-stressed, just how wonderful it is to walk under the dark canopy of Heaven, while lifting up one’s heart to our Heavenly Father! There is a closeness to God that cannot be described with words!
.
(And even if you cannot safely do this, you can always do such prayer-walks in the daytime, in a safe place, such as a mall, which is every bit as effective, prayer-wise.
.
And for those who are in confinement, one can view these starry signs on the Internet, or simply listen to Scripture on audio.
.
Either way, all such may enjoy God’s richest blessings at this very time in which God is pouring out all Heaven’s treasures upon anyone willing to forsake all, and follow Jesus!)
Now of course, the Bible commands us to, “pray without ceasing“. The Christian is to constantly talk with our Heavenly Father throughout the day.
.
But the Bible also holds up the godly life of Daniel, who, when captive in Babylon, still set aside three times daily, in which he knelt for special prayer.
.
And furthermore the Bible also says… “Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.” Psalm 55:17.
.
Even those who are bed-fast or in a prison cell can begin to imitate Daniel in this way. And if one is fortunate to be able to walk, then this thrice-daily prayer regimen can be combined with three walks daily and even nightly.
