But in spite of yours and my inescapable death sentence, isn’t it also true that we live in a beautiful world, in many respects!

There’s so much of nature to enjoy and admire for its beauty, wisdom, complexity and grandeur!
.
The sights and sounds and smells of nature were all given by our Heavenly Father for our enjoyment, while we live out our short 7 or 8 decades on earth!
But you know what? Solomon discovered that all those countless pleasures and priceless treasures did not bring him true happiness!
.
Listen again to Solomon…
…Then I looked on all the works that my hands had wrought,
and on the labour that I had laboured to do:
and, behold, all was vanity and vexation of spirit,
and there was no profit under the sun!”
Ecclesiastes 2:11
.
Solomon discovered that all those many pleasures and all that exquisite beauty brought him no true fulfillment or lasting happiness. .
.
No, Solomon, by experimentation, was made to realize that the pleasures and treasures of this very brief life only bring, “vanity (meaninglessness) and vexation of Spirit!”
.
And he saw that there was, “no profit under the Sun!”
Yes, even though we may not have been so blessed with personal attractiveness in this life, yet there is great hope!
.
You see, we can choose to follow Jesus, as He leads His sheep up the narrow pathway, which leads to eternal life!
.
And that pathway begins at one’s very own front door!
.
In his or her own heart!
.
And that pathway leads to a land of unimaginable beauty and love and peace, and joy and contentment!
.
It’s a land “where the roses never fade”, as one old song puts it!
.
And it is a land in which we will be forever young, as another song puts it!
.
And there we will walk firm and upright! And we will never grow full of wrinkles.
.
And we will all have a full set of gleaming white teeth and a full head of hair!
.
And we will, “grow up as calves of the stall.”! Malachi 4:2
.
And the agape love in that land will surpass anything that this sorry old world knows!
.
So the question is, with all these promises of God, what on earth is keeping us from renouncing this hopeless world?!
.
And what in the earth is keep us from following Jesus up that pathway to the heavenly Promised Land of TRUE eternal beauty: Christ’s love and beauty?!!

TODAY’S HEAVENLY SIGN

FLOWER OF THE FIELD CONSTELLATION BOWS DOWN…

It has become apparent, on this date, that as summer draws to a close, this “Flower of the Field” “Constellation(AKA Scorpio) appears to bend almost completely down.
.
This occurs as it travels into the western skies.
.
It somehow rotates in order to produce this effect.
.
This is a very wonderful phenomenon…and biblical too!
.
After all, the Bible says “the grass withers and the flower falls away”.
.
And that’s exactly what this flower constellation seems to do.
.
It almost seems to be bowing itself…in the direction of that bright and beautiful star, “Arcturus” (which represents Jesus).
.
This would make sense. After all, Scripture states…
“…unto me (the Lord), every knee shall bow,
every tongue shall swear…
Bel bows down, Nebo stoops… They stoop, they bow down together…
Listen to me… all you remnant of the house of Israel (God’s people)…
“Then shall He say also unto them on the left hand,
Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire,
prepared for the devil and his angels:”
Matthew 25:41

So, this above verse says the everlasting fire is,“prepared for the devil and his angels:”
.
Now, most every Bible teacher concludes that lost mankind being cast into everlasting fire is an after-thought of God, since that fire was originally intended only for the Devil and his angels!

It was only intended for the Devil and his angels.
.
But now, lost mankind will be cast there too, along with the Devil and his angels!
But there is another interpretation to this verse.
.
Yes, when this verse reveals that the everlasting fire is prepared for, “the Devil and his angels”, it could very well be including lost mankind in the number of the Devil’s angels.
.
That’s right, it truly makes perfect sense that the lost multitudes in this world are considered by Heaven as “angels of the Devil”!
.
After all, the inhabitants of this world are Antichrists in rebellion against Heaven’s authority!
.
So, just why is it inconceivable that they are also considered as “angels of the Devil?”

MANY THINGS HARD TO BE UNDERSTOOD
2nd Peter 3:16
.
Oh no, the Bible doesn’t come right out and say that the wicked and unsaved of the world are numbered as the Devil’s angels.
.
But it must be remembered that God doesn’t always come right out and spell out every truth in the Bible.
.
Many truths are veiled. Many truths have been concealed, only to be revealed at the appointed time.
.
Listen… “It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.” Proverbs 25:2
.
As this above passage reveals, God has chosen us to be kings.
.
And one of the duties of kings is to search out the things which God has concealed in Scripture.
.
For instance, God does not come right out and condemn gambling.
.
And yet, the Bible is filled with various principles, which when applied to one’s life, leads the Believer to shun gambling altogether!
We have to remember that the name, “angel” can also be translated, “messenger”
.
And truly, the people of the world are in league with Satan, whether they know it or not.
.
They are his “workers of iniquity”.
.
Whether they know it or not, the people of the world are being used daily by the Devil to promote his kingdom, and lead others to reject Heaven. (“Workers of iniquity” Luke 13:27, Proverbs 12:9, etc…)
.
And Jesus made this following summation concerning the world’s inhabitants… “He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30
Now here is one more passage which reveals what spirit indwells the people of the world…
.
Listen… “Wherein in time past ye walked
according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
Ephesians 2:2
.
So here it is revealed that even we Christians were once filled with the spirit of “the prince of the power of the air, that spirit that now works in the the children of disobedience!”
.
So, while we are now filled with God’s Spirit of truth, yet prior to our conversion, we were filled with the spirit of Satan!
.
The spirit of darkness.
.
The spirit of Antichrist.
.
Yes, we were once indwelt by devils, the antichrist spirits which indwell humans!
Now the question must be asked… “Why then are so many people well-behaved, and seemingly very law-abiding?”
.
Well, two passages come to mind…
.
First, when speaking of worldlings, Paul says… “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” 2nd Timothy 3:5
.
Yes, the people of the world (and worldly Christians) have “a form of godliness”. And yet we are commanded to turn away from all such!
.
Remember how the Pharisees and Sadducees were very outwardly correct and even very clean and neat and moral. And yet Jesus called them children of Satan! (see John 8:44)
The Ark of Salvation is still waiting with open doors, for each and every person willing to forsake this world of selfishness, and come aboard this Heaven-bound ship!
.
By forsaking this world and turning one’s feet toward Heaven, that person now becomes a pilgrim and stranger to this world, and becomes a messenger (Greek = “angelos”) for Heaven.
.
No more is that person a loyal citizen of Satan’s government.
.
No more is that person a useful pawn for Satan. And no more does that person worship the Dragon (Satan).
.
Now that converted soul becomes a citizen of God’s kingdom of love and purity and righteousness and true holiness!
.
Now that person becomes a child of God. And now that person has forever escaped being cast into the Lake burning with fire and brimstone, prepared for the Devil and his angels.
So many Christians are extremely sad and confused…
.
…”What’s going on? Oh God, why are you letting all this bad stuff happen!?…
.
…”Our nation is crumbling!
.
…”Our courts are increasingly corrupt!
.
…”Many of our leaders are pathological liars!
.
…”Our government is committing financial suicide!
.
…”Our borders are being overrun!
.
…”Violence fills our city streets!
.
…”Haters are burning entire city blocks while our government turns a blind eye!
.
…”Schools and libraries are grooming children into godlessness and perversity!
.
…”Our history books being re-written to promote neo-racism and anti-nationalism!

…”Our children are overdosing from both illegal, as well as legal drugs!
.
…”Perverse adults, half naked, parading, dancing, and enticing/seducing young children, with no push-back from the government!

…Young children being encouraged to take powerful chemicals and having body parts removed to vainly imagine themselves as the opposite gender!

…”Teens, confused, sad, and hopeless from living in this mixed-up and perverse society, committing suicide in record numbers!

…”And our Information-Super-Highway is fast becoming a one-lane road, barricaded by thought-police, and overrun with scam-artists, perverts, and ungodly and confusing ideologies!”

But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.

The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).

While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.

It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
The sketch shows the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.

The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.

As we look around, we are shocked and amazed at what we now see and hear!

*And when we read about Internet Goliaths in the form of social media and monopoly search-engines stomping Christian websites into oblivion, we feel utterly hopeless!

*When the schools begin to promote sexual perversion as the norm, we are confounded!
.
*When eastern religions move in and begin to take over the very nations which once enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation, we are greatly saddened!
.
*The television, the radio, the Internet, newspapers and magazines are beginning to appear like brainwashing machines!
.
*The young people pass by on the streets, wearing pagan-like ornaments, and greet us with a growl! We hear their music filled with violence and cursings!
.
*We read of unthinkable crimes!
.
*Our government is committing financial suicide!
.
*Public nudity beginning to be legalized!
.
*Public-schools now forcing girls to shower with boys!
.
*Children being kidnapped and sold into slavery by the millions!
.
*Churches now beginning to embrace the morals of Sodom and Gomorrah!

You could probably sum up the whole world situation today, by merely saying…
“judgment is turned away backward,
and justice stands afar off:
for truth is fallen in the street,
and equity cannot enter.”

Yes, justice and goodness and truth seem to be dying, as far as this world is concerned!

THE ‘FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS’ STARS
.
A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014.
.
This constellation appears as a serpent (snake).
.
Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon.
.
It also has a small single star for an eye.
.
Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called “The ‘Five Foolish Virgins’ Stars”.
.
These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars (AKA Corona Borealis), from the ‘Five Wise Virgins’ Stars.
.
But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!

When Lot lifted up his eyes and saw the lush and well-watered country surrounding Sodom..

…he decided that affluence and convenience was paramount to keeping separate from the ungodly influences.
.
Oh yes, Lot probably vowed to live in the country to begin with, a-ways away from the immorality and corruption of city-life.
.
But perhaps the city began to expand closer and closer to his family, or outlaws and invaders made it impossible to live in the country, forcing them into the city.
“…let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:”
Mark 13:14
.
But the day finally came when God’s warning came to Lot…
“Escape for thy life; look not behind thee,
neither stay thou in all the plain;
escape to the mountain, lest thou be consumed.”
Genesis 19:17
.
But as we all know, it was the constant contact with the sin and sensuality of Sodom which caused Mrs. Lot to look back at her life in that doomed world, and become eternally lost!

CASTOR AND POLLUX & THE NARROW WAY…
WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

So, what are these two gates all about?

And how can I choose the right door?
.
But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON
.
This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours).

In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter.
Satan spews out the deadly water of his false worldly ideologies…
.
…which many of these ideologies have a form of godliness, but in some way are not in harmony…
.
…or perhaps these worldly ideologies add to the Bible, which is strictly forbidden (see Deuteronomy 4:2).
.
On the other hand, the Strait Gate (narrow gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. The true Strait Gate represents Jesus, the Word of God.
But Christians understand that there is a vacation resort far more beautiful and far more wonderful and far more exciting than anything this world has to offer!

Listen… “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;
and there shall be no more death,
neither sorrow,
nor crying,
neither shall there be any more pain:
for the former things are passed away.
And He that sat upon the throne said, ‘Behold, I make all things new!'”
Revelation 21:1, 4, 5

Yes, this new world coming will be far more beautiful, wonderful, and exciting than any of these over-priced resorts here on earth!
.
And our vacation in that paradise there will be a somewhat extended stay!
.
Extended for all eternity! There will be no end!
.
And there will be no more crying, nor sorrow, no pain, and no death!
And so, knowing this, you could take that money otherwise spent on that expensive resort, and send orphans to Christian schooling in Asia, providing one year of room and board and Christian schooling, through a Christian group, “Asian Aid”.
.
In this way, you could go tent-camping at a nearby lake, and rest satisfied knowing that the money you graciously gave will result in various souls becoming saved!
.
No doubt, you will enjoy those humble campouts far more than those expensive and exotic resorts!
.

GRATEFUL SOULS WILL GREET YOU
.
And then, when we all get to finally cross that river, we will be greeted by a multitude of grateful redeemed ones who will thank you for being so unselfish with your money!

And for all eternity, you will be bumping into various persons who will instinctively know that it was you who supplied the finances which caused them to hear the soul-saving Gospel!
.
And together, both you and them will enjoy a far more wonderful and joyful resort, than anything this short life has to offer!

An easy way to find Arcturus is to follow the arc of the handle of the Big Dipper, in the spring through fall (these are the months in which Arcturus is visible).

For those who want to sensually dance, there are many seeming encouragements!

For those who want to go after worldly enterprises, earthly riches, or amusements and pleasures, the Bible contains the necessary encouragements to do so.
In other words, for those who wish to find the Jesus of their own making(for there are many Jesus’s, howbeit false ones), there are enough relevant passages in which to do so.

No, it’s not that the Bible has lies in it. Every Word of God is true and pure.
.
But God has written it in such a way, to judge each and every person, as to show just exactly what is in a person’s own heart.
.
Listen… “For the Word of God is quick (living),
and powerful, and sharper than any sword,
piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit,
and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”
Hebrews 4:12.

Herein is revealed that the Bible is like a double-edged sword: either it cuts to save, or else, it cuts to destroy!
Now there has been a cry that is swelling within the secular world, as of late, concerning lions… “Bring back the lions!! Bring back the lions!!”

In other words, there is a growing animosity against Christians, if you haven’t noticed!
.
The secular world is growing increasingly intolerant of Christians, because Christians are protesting the rapid groundswell of immorality…

…in a society that originally began as a Christian nation.
.
And so, in response, the growing paganistic movement is beginning to call for a return to the days when Christians were sent into Roman stadiums to be viciously torn apart by hungry lions.

(Well, somebody, for whatever reason, has completely scrubbed this “Bring Back The Lions” chant from the Internet.)
Yes, we are now witnessing a phenomenon which is making life impossible for a growing number of Christians.

From bakers and photographers getting their business licenses revoked…

…to schools beginning to eliminate gender-based restrooms…
.
…to teachers compelled to promote homosexuality, and even racism…
.
…to a swelling movement to force churches to accept unrepentant homosexuals as members.
.
It seems as if we are coming to the re-fulfillment of that fateful day when Lot had to flee from Sodom on the morning of its fiery judgment from Heaven!
When Jesus spoke to His disciples of the last days, He told of the time that God’s people must flee to safety from the wrath which is coming upon the world.
.
And in His warning to us all, He finished with this fearful statement… “Remember Lot’s Wife!”
.
Yes, Jesus tells us to remember what happened when Mrs. Lot looked back sadly and longingly at her beloved world, which was to be totally burnt with fire from Heaven!
.
She turned into a pillar of salt: salt being a symbol of God’s Judgment!
Well, just about everybody knows the fiery outcome of that infamous city, Sodom.
.
But the point to today’s devotional is, that God orchestrated the events of that fateful day for our spiritual benefit.
.
And, the historical account of Lot fleeing Sodom, stands as a fearful warning to Christians against becoming enamored by all the glittering allurements of this present world-of-selfish-desires!
you can still find little balls of brimstone on the ground outside of the now water-covered grave where Sodom & Gomorrah once were, before they were blasted by God.)
Now Paul is establishing that this true historical account of Abraham and his folly with Hagar is actually an allegory, orchestrated by God, to present a picture of the Old and New Covenants…

…Sarah being a picture of the New Covenant of faith, and Hagar, the Old Covenant of fleshly bondage.
“And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He (Jesus) expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself”
Luke 24:27
.
And this above verse from Luke 24 confirms that Jesus and His Gospel are interwoven throughout the Old Testament.

And those who attempt to understand the Old Testament will never truly comprehend it until they see the Gospel written behind every line and precept of the Old Testament!
.
Yes, the Gospel of Jesus is hidden between every line and historical account in the Old Testament!
But the problem is, that those in the Church who are still in bondage to the flesh cannot spiritually discern all these Old Testament stories, because these yet-to-be-converted-ones are not of the Spirit, but of the flesh…
.
Listen… “But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him:
neither can he know them,
because they are spiritually discerned.”
1st Corinthians 2:14
.
Yes, as this above verse reveals, that those who are carnally-minded teachers cannot spiritually interpret much of the Bible, and mock and scorn anyone who does!
The very Good News is, that God is willing to open up the Bible to anyone who forsakes this present world and begins to follow Jesus as a true disciple!

And indwelt by the Spirit of Truth, we can claim God’s promise…
…”But the anointing which ye have received of Him abides in you,
and ye need not that any man teach you:
but as the same anointing teaches you of all things,
and is truth, and is no lie,
and even as it has taught you,
ye shall abide in him.”

This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014.

It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.

Second, they appear to be gathered in front of The Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation. (just below Corona Borealis in this Wikipedia star-chart, in which the editor of this site sketched in these two constellations)
Now for the Christian, there are some additional factors to consider: factors which the people of the world are perhaps, not so concerned about.

You see, the Christian understands, or at least should understand, that God requires strict honesty in all of life’s business dealings, both big and small!

Listen… “He that works deceit shall not dwell within My house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in My sight.” Psalm 101:7

Yes, this above verse reveals that those who deceive others will simply not be numbered among the redeemed who spend eternity in the New Heaven and New Earth…
A certain young man named Dave, accidentally side-swiped another car, and quickly left the scene, without notifying the owner of that damaged car.

Well, to make a long story short, sometime later, Dave became a Christian.

And a few years into his Christianity, he was hit by another car, totally ruining his own car.

However, when Dave arrived home from that accident, he was surprised to discover that someone had dropped a large object on his expensive 1-year-old sports car!

So, on that very same day, he lost one car in an accident, and had body damage to his other car!
.
Coincidence? Or divine judgment?
.
Well, Dave was totally convicted in his heart that it was a recompense for his hit-and-run accident years earlier.
Well, here’s another true story about that same guy, Dave.
.
You see, Dave lived in a bad neighborhood, and he desperately wanted to get out, for his kid’s sake!
.
But he had a choice to make. Should he disclose to the prospective buyer that there was trouble in his neighborhood? Or should he keep silent?
.
Well, after a number of experiences, Dave had finally learned his lesson about honesty, and told the perspective buyer all about the neighborhood and also about the major problems with the house.
.
And guess what! The buyer didn’t even flinch! He paid cash for that house.
.
And that was that!
.
But guess what else! Dave moved into a house across town and never even had one problem with his new neighborhood, as far as his children were concerned!
.
This time, he did it God’s way, and it seemed that the Lord blessed him!
“For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee.”
Psalm 86:5
.
The Good News to all this is, that God is a very forgiving God. He’s not wanting to “try us every moment” to destroy us, but to save us!
.
And if we will only begin to trust Him to lead us and guide us and help us in every situation of life.
.
And in so-doing, we will be overjoyed to learn that we no longer have to worry about selling our house or car, etc., or withhold negative information about whatever we are trying to sell!
.
We simply apply God’s commandment about honesty in each and every situation, and trust that He will bless us in one way or another.
And though we may never be rich in the eyes of mankind, yet in Heaven’s estimation, we will be Billionaires!
.
And the Bible says… “He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be My son.” Revelation 21:7
.
Now, to inherit all things seems to indicate that the redeemed will inherit this entire universe! So that means we’ll be the richest people of all! (spiritual riches)
.
And so, you could possibly say that by our honesty down here on Planet Earth, we will become very rich in our real estate sales, as we sell this world and buy that wonderful everlasting world to come!

And the glorious real estate we will soon be inheriting,

And so this article is dedicated to show just what Orion the Archer is speaking of, in Scripture, and how this all relates to you and me. So read on and observe…
But why does God allow the Devil to persecute the Christian?
.
Listen… “And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also:
knowing that tribulation works patience;
And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
And hope makes not ashamed;
because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts
by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”
Romans 5:3-5
.
As Paul reveals in this above verse, our many afflictions are merely God’s chosen method of crucifying our selfish human nature.
.
And let’s face it! Our fiery trials, both big and little, not only crucify our love for this present evil world…
.
…but also cause us to trust less in our own human strength and wisdom…
.
…and trust more on God’s strength and on His “exceeding great and precious promises” to deliver us from evil! (See 2nd Peter 1:4)
.
And so, God lovingly allows His children to go through the fires of tribulation, in tear-filled hope of purifying our hearts and transforming our lives into His likeness.
Jesus plainly declared… “So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33
.
Yes, discipleship, true discipleship can only be attained by forsaking this present world and following Jesus.
.
And even though we still must work, and eat, and be warm, and provide for the joy, the needs and the contentment of our family members, in heart we no longer love this selfish world.
.
The things of the world have lost their luster, so to speak.
.
Our sights are now fully set upon Heaven! Our family’s salvation is our overwhelming passion!
“Dear Lord, Help me to finally make that decision to forsake all. Graciously allow me the joy of suffering with the people of God, so that I might attain to that better resurrection…
And it worked! Now the world began to embrace Christians.
.
Instead of coming after Christians with swords and spears…
.
…the secular world now came at them with spatulas and meat forks…to invite them over for a neighborhood barbecue!
.
In this way, Satan knew he could do far more damage via earthly pleasures and worldly aspirations!
.
And by so-doing, he could drown the Church in materialism and hedonistic pleasures.
.

CHURCH JOINS HANDS WITH WORLD
.
Instead of maintaining a separation from the world, the Church bridged the gap between the holy and the mundane (“…they have put no difference between the holy and profane” Ezekiel 22:26).
.
And among the many excesses which Satan flooded Christians with, elaborate and sensual music was used in such a way, as to flood the lives of Christians.
.
And soon, pride, foolish human pride, became a great motivating force behind so much of Christian music!
.
And before long, Christian music began to become just another idol in the hearts of many churchgoers.
And with the advent of radio, recording machines, and even the new high-tech devices, Christian music soon became as idolatrous as the music of the world.
.
Christians placed great emphasis on the pride of performance, more than on humbleness of Christ.
.
Many Christian music artists even became idolized by adoring fans!
.
And as a result, the modern-day churches began to enjoy great success when they brought in this new form of idolatry.
.
The more worldly that a church became, the greater the audiences, who came to be entertained.
There is an old expression which goes… “The proof of the pudding is in the eating thereof!” And this saying is very appropriate for today’s devotional to employ.
.
If all this extravagant music empire, which had arisen to power within the Christian community, was such a wonderful thing, then why was the Church of God in such a miserably wretched condition?
.
Why were Christians so worldly-minded?
.
You would think that the Church would be holy and righteous, because of all our music-listening!
.
But statistics show that the divorce-rate among Christians became phenomenal!
.
The ignorance of the Bible among Christians was equally phenomenal!
.
A high percentage of Christian men regularly viewed pornography.
.
Drunkenness and immorality!
.
Most Christian kids attended the soul-destroying, secular schools, which groomed students into atheism and sexual promiscuity!
.
And many other alarming statistics painted an equally dismal portrait of the Church-world!
.
So then, in light of these horrible statistics, we can conclude that all this music listening by Christians did not help, but probably only did much further damage.
.
At the very least, it interfered with personal Bible study.
.
But also, the fact is, when a person listens to ‘sensual’ music, it has a corrupting influence which will undoubtedly cause problems with promiscuity…
.
“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” 1st Corinthians 15:33

But for those false brethren in today’s churches, who are trying to vaunt ourselves before audiences, this concept of emulating the meek and lowly Jesus is a real joy-killer!
.
Because with Jesus, there was no attempt to lift Himself up by His own beauty or charisma or talent…
Now any biblical discussion about the music of this world and even in the Church would not be complete without at least a mention of Lucifer and his musicianship.
.
So, the first biblical mention of Lucifer’s musical abilities is found in Isaiah.
.
Listen…“Thy pomp is brought down to the grave,
and the noise of thy viols…
How art thou fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning…
which didst weaken the nations!”
Isaiah 14:11, 12 (Condensed).
.
So, in these above words of Isaiah, it is revealed that Lucifer was somehow intimately connected with viols. And these viols would, no doubt, be stringed instruments.
Now it could be conjectured about Lucifer’s position in Heaven, or perhaps about him being the chief choir director in Heaven.
.
But we do know that Lucifer was cast out of Heaven and now is known as “the god of this world” (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4).
.
And we also know that he is called, “the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2
.
And given all these powers of Lucifer, then it is not too difficult to deduce that this fallen angel continues his musical abilities right here in this fallen world, Planet Earth via humans!
But the big point is, that it was Lucifer’s beauty which caused his heart to be lifted up.
.
And because God has warned us not to be lifted up in our own hearts…
.
…then, one could think that Christians, above all others, would be taking precautions, not to allow ourselves to follow in Lucifer’s footsteps!
.
For anyone who has performed some artistic ability in public arenas, there is an undeniable swelling of pride, especially when one receives praise over that performance.
Perhaps the best innovation which came out of the Twentieth-Century church-music were those simple “Scripture Songs”, which were nothing more than a scripture verse or two, set to a simple melody.
.
Yes, most of those little songs were composed in simplicity and without any sensuality or pride.
.
And they were a great way for children and adults to memorize Scripture, as they were sung collectively during the worship hour, or individually, amidst one’s daily duties!
.
Yes, those little songs were the closest thing to the Psalms of David (which we find in the center of our Bibles.)
as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only,
but now much more in my absence,
work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.”
Philippians 2:12, 13
.
Here in this above statement by Paul, it is revealed that while we seem to be working out our Salvation with fear and trembling, it is actually God who is working behind the scenes within us.
…”Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises:
that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.”
2nd Peter 1:4
.
You see, it is only by the Bible’s “exceeding great and precious promises”, that we can maintain perfect peace!
.
In other words, whenever something comes up, which attempts to mar or obliterate that perfect peace, it is only by clinging to God’s precious promises that we can keep from sinking in a sea of doubts and despair!
…do you recall that little Christian song… “How can you stand of the promises of God, if you don’t know what they are?”
.
Yes, each and every one of us can do a much better job of spending more time in God’s Word, seeking out those precious promises, which are hidden between each and every verse of the Bible!

And as already stated, this Goodly Horse Constellation can be seen best in mid-winter when it is in the western side of the sky, and you are looking at it while you are facing west.

Reading the three epistles of John, it becomes apparent that John had somehow achieved a oneness with Christ: a oneness seemingly found nowhere else in Scripture…
.
Oh yes, Paul was given a somewhat different type of ministry than John.
.
But it seems that God gave John’s writings to show us that there is no spiritual height that cannot be attained to by a Christian!
John appears to have fully merged with Christ, so much so, that it is as if Christ is the one speaking in John’s epistles.
.
John has become totally indwelt by Christ and Christ’s infinite love!
.
And so, these three epistles by John stand as a real encouragement for those of us who are still fumbling and stumbling our way up the heavenward pathway!
.
They give us hope that we too might also become totally changed into His likeness, even while our feet are still standing on this hellish, sin-cursed soil.
Now, so far in this devotional, we have only been dealing in abstracts. What we need to do now, is try to discover the practical means of achieving this same victorious oneness that John achieved.
Well okay, it goes without saying that just like John, Paul likewise became totally dedicated to achieving this incredible victory in Christ…

Listen to Paul’s testimony…
“Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss
for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things,
and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ…
That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection,

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

If ever there was a totalitarian declaration, this is it!

Paul, obviously, was totally consumed by his desire to achieve that same oneness with Christ, which John was also seeking for!

And Paul was willing to lose all worldly possessions and all earthly considerations, so that he might ultimately win the fullness of that heavenly Prize!

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back)…
.
…plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg)…
.
…plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, which is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
There is an old saying, that goes, “A man’s character is never developed in a crisis, but a man’s character is merely revealed in a crisis”…
.
…and there may be much truth to this saying.
.
For example, there was a certain Christian in an airport, waiting for his flight to arrive, so that he could go home.
.
But that flight was late, and a substitute flight was announced.
.
But when even the substitute flight didn’t arrive on time, this Christian began nervously pacing back and forth, and asking fellow passengers if they had heard any new information on the flight’s arrival.
.
And finally, one of the fellow passengers laughed and said, “Hey guy! You really look worried! Maybe you should read the writing on your own ball-cap! It says, ‘Relax, God is in control!’ Don’t you trust that God’s in control?”
.
And the other passengers there all laughed, too!
.

PERFECT PEACE DURING A CRISIS?
.
But just how in the world is a Christian supposed to maintain perfect peace during the many troubles which this life will assuredly bring our way?
.
Oh yes, it’s easy to have peace when things are going smoothly. Sailing on tranquil waters is not a problem!
.
But how about when the storm clouds roll in?
.
How about when the waves start crashing against your boat?
.
And the boat begins to fill with water?
.
Then how are we to maintain that perfect peace?
.
After all, the Bible says…
“Thou (God) will keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed upon Thee.
Because he trusts in Thee.”
Isaiah 26:3
.
Okay, so we need to keep our minds stayed upon Jesus!
Yes, so often, it seems like God has gone to sleep on us, just when we need Him most!
.
And no doubt, this is why Jesus was sleeping during that storm: to present a scenario of our own times of trouble…
…”Lord, where are You!?
…Don’t You care about me!?
…Don’t You care about what’s happening here!?
…How could You let this thing happen to me!?”
.
And so, during many crises, both big and small, we are too often just like those faithless disciples in that boat on that stormy sea…“Master, carest Thou not that we perish?”

DAILY TESTS
.
There is a little song that says… “How can you stand on the promises of God, when you don’t know what they are?”
.
And isn’t it so true that if we would only fight to keep those Bible promises before our eyes, we could maintain that perfect peace, even amidst our supposed troubles!
.
Yes, right now, God is allowing many little (and big) situations which will shake our faith, if we allow them to.
.
And we each have a choice to make: “Am I going to let this bad news overwhelm me? Or am I going to trust in the promises of God?”

But was Jesus really speaking literally or was He speaking metaphorically?
.
Obviously, Jesus was speaking metaphorically.
.
This too, like the Old Testament stories, was presenting a spiritual concept.
.
In the first place, Jesus knew that two actual swords were not nearly enough to withstand that angry mob who were coming for Him!
.
Secondly, the Bible is the “sword of the Spirit”.This had to be the sword which Jesus was referring to.
.
But why “two” swords?
.
Actually, those two swords most likely represented the Old and New Testament (the New had not yet been written, of course), which would be used from thenceforth as the sword-of-the-Spirit by all Christians to combat evil.
Had the Disciples been prayerfully and carefully studying the Scriptures, they would not have been in such despair and darkness, concerning the events just now taking place.
.
It was the “Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God” that these 11 men truly needed.
.
And it is only a careful and prayerful daily study of God’s Word which will prepare us to stand through the great crisis just before us.
.
This is the sword we will need for the time before us: God’s Word!
“HE THAT LIVES BY THE SWORD SHALL DIE BY THE SWORD”
.
But perhaps the most telling statement came when Peter cut off the ear of Malchus.
.
Did Jesus say, “Good going Peter”?
.
No, Jesus gently restored the ear of Malchus, and rebuked Peter.
.
Just listen…
…”And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus
stretched out his hand, and drew his sword,
and struck a servant of the high priest’s,
and smote off his ear.
Then said Jesus unto him,
Put up again thy sword into his place:
for all they that take the sword
shall perish with the sword.
Do you think that I cannot now pray to My Father,
and He shall presently give Me more than twelve legions of angels?”
Matthew 26:51-53
.
This above passage lets us know that Jesus had no intention of fighting.
.
And anyway, He could have called for legions of angels, had He wish to!
.
But Jesus went beyond, and actually used this occasion to present to us a principle: that God does not wish for Christians, nor for non-Christians to be physically warring.
There have been many Christians who suffered at the hand of evil governments, such as Corrie Ten-Boom’s family.
.
These people did not resist evil by violence.
.
By faith, they hid the hated and hunted Jews during the Jewish/Holocaust during the Nazi regime, during WWII, until they were caught!
.
And eventually, only Corrie survived to tell this horror story.
.
Yes, the Ten-Boom family considered it an honor to lay down their lives for Christ.
.
As Christians, they resolved not to shoot, or knife, or club their way out of government oppression.
.
Do you think that Corrie Ten-Boom would have had any kind of ministry for decades, about faith and trust in God, if she and her family were knife-wielding or gun-toting Christians?
And the only weapon which will be of any use to the child of God, during the soon-coming trial before us, will be the “Sword of the Spirit, the Word of God”,(which we will have previously hidden in our hearts.)

AN AFTER-THOUGHT

It’s easy to sit on a computer or behind a microphone and talk faith, or talk tough.
.
Likewise, it’s easy to hand out free advice to others.
.
But the fact is, each of us will have to answer for our own self on Judgment Day.

So, let’s all pray for wisdom and Divine guidance, especially in these complicated matters…

TODAY’S FEATURED HEAVENLY SIGN

ORION THE SOLDIER
.
The pagan cultures saw this incredible constellation as a hunter, with a club. Well, they weren’t too far off. Actually, God created it to appear like a soldier.
Orion Constellation can best be seen all winter (but even in August in the pre-dawn hours of morning in eastern skies) traveling east to west through the night, in mid-sky.
.
To find the seven major stars of Orion (one star on each shoulder and one star on each foot, plus the three stars which make his belt)…
.
…you can locate on just about any clear night regardless of the blackness of the night.
.
To find Orion’s other stars, you need more star-visibility…a darker, moonless night, and possibly away from city lights.
Keys have played a significant role in many earthly stories written through the centuries.
.
Yes, in countless fictional tales, they held the promise of opening a door which hopefully brought good fortune to the one who turned that key and opened that door.
.
Of course, as so often is the case, those earthly dramas were merely borrowing from the Bible.
.
Yes, the Bible speaks of a miraculous key!
.
Listen…
“And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write;
These things saith He that is holy, He that is true,
He that hath the key of David,
He that opens, and no man shuts;
and shuts, and no man opens;”
Revelation 3:7
.
So here, Christ seems to be speaking of the key to Heaven.
So just what is this mysterious key which Jesus mentioned to the Church of Philadelphia?
.
What key had the ability to open the door of Heaven to this obedient Church?
.
Maybe this next passage will give us clarity…
…”And the key of the house of David
will I lay upon His shoulder;
so He shall open, and none shall shut;
and He shall shut, and none shall open.”
Isaiah 22:22.
.
Yes, God laid that key upon the big shoulders of Jesus.
.
And as Jesus carried that key to the top of Calvary, He did so with the joy of knowing it would unlock those doors which, as yet, were forbidden to humanity.
And today we have a very similar situation in this high-tech society.
.
This is because we now have a seemingly endless supply of Bible teachers available at the touch of our finger!
.
And combined with the fact that the Enemy of Souls keeps us busy, busy, busy, with seeking after the pleasures and excesses of this decadent culture…
.
…it is much easier to just turn on some Bible study and let the modern-day teachers of the Law simply feed us with their opinion of what the Bible says.
Now the next key of knowledge, which was taken away from the multitudes, was that the Pharisees liked to make many rules to follow, as a means of working one’s way to Heaven.
.
Yes, the Pharisees lived a very moral life with rules which gave the appearance of godliness.
.
They were neat and clean and washed things often.
.
And they lived a very moral and religious life!
.
They were well-respected in their community and performed various religious duties!
.
And yet, inwardly, their hearts were filled with pride, judging, covetousness, lust, anger, and a host of other similar qualities.
And of course, there is a great majority of faithful churchgoers today, who merely go through the motions of Christianity, live fairly moral lives, and yet have not that two-way communion with God.
.
Yes, the Bible commands,“Oh how I love Thy Law (Word), it is my meditation all the day long” Psalm 119:97.
.
But the Bible also commands,“Pray without ceasing” 1st Thessalonians 5:17.
.
It is because we fill our hearts with self-willed desires that we cannot have this constant two-way communion with God.
And so, if I have not these evidences in my own life, then I had better take inventory of my life and determine if perhaps I truly have that key to kingdom of heaven, or if I am still locked out!
.
But the very Good News is, that God is giving us time to turn ourselves around.
.
Yes, there is nowhere along that upward pathway in which we will have “finally arrived”!
.
And our chief desire will be to become molded into the glorious likeness of Jesus! .
And we will enter through an open door which will never be shut!
“Dear Lord, Give me those keys which are missing from my Christian experience! Help me to put away all my self-willed ambitions and humble myself before Thee in constant communion…
I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation,
which shall come upon all the world,
to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
Revelation 3:10
.
This particular promise was made to the church of Philadelphia, one of Revelation’s two completely faithful churches.
.
Yes, the church of Philadelphia would be kept “from the hour of temptation”, which was to come upon the whole world, “to try them that dwell upon the earth.”
And so, because modern-day theologians concluded that being kept “from the hour of temptation” required a physical removing of the Church from the earth…

…then there must be two separate Second-Comings of the Lord, one prior to the Great Day of the Lord.
.
But the fact is, the Bible never says that there will be two separate “Second Comings”, nor does it speak of a third “Coming”.

Listen… “So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many;
and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the SECOND TIME
without sin unto salvation.”
Hebrews 9:28

Here it says that Christ will appear a second time, but never a third time!
As a matter of fact, the Bible nowhere specifically says anything about the Church being literally removed from the earth, prior to the Great and Terrible Day of God.

So then, just where or how will the church be kept from the hour of temptation, which is coming upon the whole world?

After all, Jesus said…
…”I pray not that Thou (His Father)
should take them (His Followers) out of the world,
And even though their feet will be still standing on this sin-cursed earth; and even though God’s plagues are falling all around His people, they have this promise…

Listen… “A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand;
but it shall not come nigh thee.
Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge,
even the most High, thy habitation;”

Here is where we must be hidden in the day of the Lord’s anger.

Well, about 80 years later, it seems as though that book was not too far off.

Certainly, TV, Internet, and radio fulfill at least half of that prophetic scenario.

But the fact is, these so-called. “benign” devices have taken on the role of instructors, teaching us what is considered “politically/socially correct”, according to society’s overlords.

And coupled with the fact that these devices are ready to teach us at the flip of a switch, we are probably being indoctrinated in some way whenever we turn them on.

Now the Christian should obviously keep far away from secular entertainment.

After all, why would any dedicated Christian want to voluntarily expose his or her own self to the enticing allurements of the world?

DOGMATIC RELIGIOUS SHOWS

But the Christian also has the choice of now watching or listening to TV and radio dedicated to so-called “Christian programming”.

The problem with this is that because these “Christian” networks are available on a 24/7/365 basis, it is very easy to simply leave these programs on all day.

And quite often we tend to get a little complacent, and let these teachers do our homework for us, instead of studying the Bible for our own selves.
For example, there is one preacher who teaches from the Bible day-by-day.
.
And this preacher mingles his folksy wit and quaint personal stories into his daily Bible study.
.
And this makes his ministry very interesting and amusing, quite often.
.
But also, he has a very sharp tongue when speaking of those he scorns.
.
And so, quite often, his preaching can sometimes be very earthly and un-Christ-like, as he uses his sharp tongue to annihilate his doctrinal opponents and anyone else, or even any doctrine he decides to slice-and-dice!
.
And he’s quite good at mockingly cutting up various people and various opposing doctrines into pieces!
For instance, anytime there is a questionable doctrine, such as the Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory…
.
…this teacher mercilessly uses his sharp wit to cut in pieces anyone with a different viewpoint, thus making them look silly and stupid to his listeners!
.
And the fact is, there are so many loose strings in Darby/Scofield’s Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory, that you would think that today’s Bible teachers would be very UN-dogmatic and very open-minded about alternative viewpoints!
it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.”

Of course, the correct name for this event is, “The Coming of the Lord”.
Yes, our teachers have invented this false doctrine (beginning with one, John N. Darby, and popularized by one, Cyrus I. Scofield).

And like lambs to the slaughter, the Church is heading into the Day of the Lord, thinking we’re going to miss it!

But Revelation, Chapter 22:6.6, 7, 10, 16 says quite the opposite about itself…
…”to shew unto His servants the things
WHICH MUST SHORTLY BE DONE.
Behold, I come quickly:
…FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND…
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things IN THE CHURCHES.”

And the nations began to enjoy a prosperity never before experienced in the post-diluvian world.

And gradually it began to sweep through the very nations which were struggling to remain faithful to the Gospel which they once enthusiastically embraced during the Reformation.
Listen to this unnerving prophecy concerning the total apostasy of the churches…
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine”

This above passage forewarns that a day is coming when the churches will no longer endure sound doctrine!

Yes, the Dragon knew that by flooding these Christian nations with material wealth, he could put out the holy fire with the complacency and self-satisfied lethargy which so often accompanies earthly prosperity.
Thus, we have come to a day in which those “get rich” gospels are enjoying tremendous growth around the world!

And along with the promise of financial freedom, these gospels have brought in the sensual music of the world, and even comedy in the pulpit, and other similar worldly attractions.

Needless to say, these worldly gospels are attracting the great unwashed masses around the world into their gospel!
And where did this prosperity-driven gospel come from?

God has written the Bible in earthly language, to a great extent. Hence, passages concerning prosperity have a spiritual analogy.

Yes, the Bible is a spiritual book. In other words, when a Christian reads the Bible, the Holy Spirit begins to interpret those earthly objects into spiritual truths.

Well, if a person goes out at night, beginning in April (earlier in southern-most latitudes, and later in northern-most), in the pre-dawn hour, they just might locate the constellation commonly referred to as the Sagittarius Constellation.
.
It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)
.
At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward.
.
But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left.
.
The box, of course would be the Ark, and the stars on either side would represent angels, which are sometimes referred to as stars in the Bible.
By comparing spiritual things with spiritual, Paul is seeing that both Jerusalem as well as Abraham, Sarah, and Hagar & Ishmael are being orchestrated by God to be spiritual concepts.

And by comparing these spiritual concepts together, Paul interprets these things as concerning the New Testament Church: both the apostate Jerusalem, and the faithful Jerusalem.
.
Yes, Hagar and Ishmael represent the “Jerusalem which is now, and is in bondage with her children”:this is the Church-apostate, which is still in bondage to the flesh.

And Sarah represents the Church of promise, “which is free and is the mother of us all”.

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back)…
.
…plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg)…
.
…plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, which is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
When Jesus was with His disciples, just prior to going to the Cross, He comforted them with these words…

“Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in Me.
In My Father’s house are many mansions:
if it were not so, I would have told you.
I go to prepare a place for you.
And if I go and prepare a place for you,
I will come again, and receive you unto Myself;
that where I am, there ye may be also.”

Now perhaps the words “many mansions” have given people the wrong idea, concerning eternal life.

That Greek word, “mone”,perhaps is better translated as “room”. In other words, it might be better said, “In My Father’s house are many rooms”,or perhaps even better is,“much room”.
But those who “stumble at the Word” have erroneously concluded that Heaven will be some sort of “Mansion Row”…
.
…great mansions in which the redeemed will have their very own servant-laden southern-style mansion…
.
…complete with butlers and maids and cooks, swimming pools, limousines, and perhaps even a horse stable on a large green tree-lined acreage.
.
But there is nothing about Jesus which would give us this idea.
.
Such a self-serving life would not only be time-consuming and contrary to the very purpose for which we have been called.
.
And there are many prosperity gospels which capitalize on such nonsense and deceive the self-seeking hearts of many who have “itching ears”! 2nd Timothy 4:3
And so, when Jesus comforted His disciples, He knew that in a few hours, He was going to the Cross.
.
And by so-doing, He was preparing a place for them in Heaven.
.
Yes, it was His Atonement for the sins of Mankind, that Jesus was now providing a place in Heaven for all those who, “make His soul an offering for sin” Isaiah 53:10
.
And this concept is substantiated by the fact that Jesus did not go back to Heaven with a great carpentry project.
.
No, it says that He, “sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;” Hebrews 1:3.
We don’t yet know exactly what eternity future will be like.
.
Many suppose that God’s redeemed will, as that old song, Rock of Ages says… “As I soar to worlds unknown, and behold Thee on Thy throne”.
.
Many suppose that we, as co-priests, will be proclaiming the Love of God throughout the ceaseless ages.
.
Well one thing is for sure. We won’t be living selfish and opulent lives, like so many now do, here on earth! Jesus came to condemn such self-obsessed materialism.
But this little devotional cannot end without adding this…
“And the ransomed of the LORD shall return,
and come to Zion with songs
and everlasting joy upon their heads:
they shall obtain joy and gladness,
and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Isaiah 35:10.
.
Yes, the Bible makes clear that everlasting life will be filled with everlasting “joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away!”
.
And while some may be disappointed to realize that God’s redeemed won’t spend eternity sipping lemonade on the front porch colonnade of their southern-styled mansion…
.
…and yet, the good news is, that everlasting life will be filled with joy and gladness!
.
And though nobody knows exactly what is awaiting us, one thing is for sure…
…”Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in Thy presence is fulness of joy;
at Thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”

THE NARROW WAY: THE PILGRIM’S PATHWAY

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.

Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter displaying the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story).

Orion, the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (This sketch is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).
But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.

The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.
.
This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).
.
While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.
.
It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.
.
The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.
.
The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of theDragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here).

The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch below left).

MOUNT SION, AN HEAVENLY MOUNT

For instance, these 144,000 all stand on Mount Sion, as is written in Hebrews 12:22…
“But ye are come unto mount Sion,
and unto the city of the living God,
the heavenly Jerusalem,
and to an innumerable company of angels,”

So here it reveals that the Book of Hebrews was written for ALL true Believers, not just literal Jews!

We are ALL “come unto Mount Sion”, as it plainly states here!
Next it says in this above passage from Revelation 14:4…“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins.”
.
Now here is another very simple allegory concerning being defiled with women, symbolizing being defiled by apostate churches which Scripture often refers to as “women”…
“for I have espoused you to one husband,
that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”
Next, this “144,000” passage from Revelation reveals that, “These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.” Revelation 14:4

Now, by going to the New Testament Book of James, it is revealed concerning “first-fruits”…“Of His own will begat He us with the Word of Truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.” James 1:18
.
Okay, so being “a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” is referring to Believers…ALL Believers!
But notice who this little book of James is addressed to…“James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the TWELVE TRIBES which are scattered abroad, greeting.” James 1:1
.
So now it is revealed that James refers to Believers as “The Twelve Tribes”.

Well, here is a Bible truth which totally demolishes this false and non-biblical doctrine called, “Replacement Theology”.

No wonder that the Bible never even once uses this unbiblical term, “Replacement Theology!”

No wonder that Satan had to concoct this totally non-biblical name, “Replacement Theology”!
In the beginning, God placed our first parents in a beautiful garden.

But though this world retains much beauty, there are still many who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp.

Lucifer would love nothing more, than for people to have the discouraging notion, that Heaven is just a puffy little cloud, with nothing going on, day after day, for all eternity.

Nothing could be further from the truth!

Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredibly interesting and beautiful garden for our first parents…

…would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships…

…only to now stick us in some boring situation, for eternity?
.
All such false notions are based on ignorance of God’s omnipotence and lovingkindness!

Sin and rebellion have marred the original beauty of this present world.

But in spite of that, there still remains some of the beauty which this planet originally possessed.

And yet, marred as it is, still the beauty and innocent joys of this present world are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that “Celestial City of God” and the “earth-made-new”!

CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED LAND!

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth:
for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away;
and there was no more sea.
And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem,

Revelation 21:1, 2

So, Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the “New Heaven and a New Earth” and begin to get excited about it. Revelation 21:1

When we hear the cry of a newborn baby, or the innocent laughter of little children. When we see a little forest creature having fun, or we sit around a roaring campfire, or behold the simple beauty of a little butterfly.

“Many, O LORD my God,
are thy wonderful works which thou hast done,
and thy thoughts which are to us-ward:
they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee:
if I would declare and speak of them,
they are more than can be numbered. ”
Psalm 40:5.

These, and the many other joys of life were created by the One who has also gone to prepare an even more beautiful place for us to live.

He knows our needs and will provide a far more wonderful home than this sin-cursed Earth.

And when we finally cross that river, and we stand together on the shores of that world to come, we will look in amazement at what He has in store for us there!

And those websites which are truly attempting to help homosexuals to find deliverance from their bondage to their sin, are actually engaging in “love-speech”, not so-called, “hate-speech”!

After all, to help a fellow human to find freedom and deliverance from any self-destructive, unhappy, and habitual sin, is truly an act of Christlike love.
