“Misguided Mercy Toward the Homeless”

Why are so many cities and towns falling into utter dystopian decadence and disarray?

.

And why are so many cities filling up with homeless drug addicts and mentally deranged souls?

.

And why are millions of non-citizens pouring over our borders, often bringing in deadly drugs to sell to these unfortunate addicts?

.

And why are state governments beginning to legalize deadly hallucinogenic drugs, creating a drug addiction crisis, the likes of which has never been seen throughout history?

.

Now, if we listen to the political commentators, then we understand that a political power and its supporters have created and allowed this homeless/drug crisis to spawn and thrive.

But why?

“…Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away”

2nd Timothy 3:5

Yes, why be complicit in this obvious self-destruction of society?

**Well, that particular political entity insists that such permissiveness is “the compassionate thing to do”.**

.

And of course, this same political power-group has spearheaded many similar (and costly) “compassionate” projects over the past decades.

.

Unfortunately, all this tender mercy has brought this society to its knees, socially, politically, spiritually, financially, and ultimately to its possible total collapse in the future!

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against…spiritual wickedness in high places”

Ephesians 6:12

But before we begin pointing the accusing finger at the politicians who helped to create this existential crisis, we need to “give credit where credit is due”, as the old saying goes.

Yes, the Bible forewarned of a beast-like power which would appear in the last days, having two horns like a lamb, and speaks as a dragon.

.

Revelation names this beast-power as, “The False Prophet”.

.

So, this False Prophet antichrist spirit is the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13…

…”And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth;

and he had two horns like a lamb,

and he spoke as a dragon.”

Revelation 13:11

.

So, this 2nd Beast-power is Satan’s deceptive spirit which counterfeits the Lamb of God, Jesus…

.

**…and yet he “speaks as a dragon”.**

THE FALSE PROPHET’S TWO HORNS: MERCY & JUSTICE

Yes, the Bible reveals that this second beast has two horns like a lamb.

.

And of course, the Lamb of God, Jesus has two horns of power, Mercy and Truth.

.

But our focus today is only on the mercy horn of this False Prophet.

.

And as we look out upon the political landscape, we can readily see that this False Prophet Beast’s “Left Horn” claims to be the arbiters and defenders of mercy and compassion.

.

But unlike Jesus, who is the essence of true mercy and compassion, this false prophet beast is a terrible counterfeit of true mercy and compassion, thus repulsing the populace against true compassion!

.

And yet, just like what we’re seeing with the homeless crisis, the Left Horn’s mercy is extremely misguided!

After all, by allowing drugs to freely pour over our borders, and into the hands of men, women, and even children…

…we have created an entire class of dysfunctional drug-addicts, living on the streets throughout many cities and towns!

.

**And while the Left Horn’s permissiveness gives them the misguided notion (and bragging rights) that they are “the people of compassion”…**

.

…they are actually imprisoning thousands, maybe millions into Satan’s tangled web of deadly addictions!

And the Good News is that any man, woman, or child who desires to have true mercy and compassion…

…can renounce and turn away from this “two-beast, antichrist world-system”…

…and begin to follow Jesus as leads His sheep up the gently ascending Highway to Heaven…

.

…all the while, presenting daily, an example of that true Christlike compassion to those in need!

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;

and behold a great red dragon,

having seven heads and ten horns,

and seven crowns upon his heads.”

**In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.**

**However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.**

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

**The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).**

.

**And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).**

So, we have this 7/10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

Let’s review the key Bible passage…

“And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea:

who coming there, went into the synagogue of the Jews.

These were more noble than those in Thessalonica,

in that they received the word with all readiness of mind,

and searched the scriptures daily,

whether those things were so.”

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

.

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

.

2. “And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

.

And because of this excellent, open-minded Spirit, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

.

Thus, there was an open-minded love for truth which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

TODAY’S CANCEL CULTURE

.

A recent phenomenon we witness today, is what has become tagged as “Cancel Culture”.

.

And this seemingly new phenomenon is the act of attempting to weaponize some misdeed or sin as a way to discount or even destroy some individual.

A CANCEL-CULTURE WORLD

.

But as most us realize, this so-called “Cancel Culture” has been a favorite means of cancelling out some individual even as far back as the Garden of Eden…

…when Lucifer, speaking through a serpent, tried to cancel out the Creator God, by accusing Him of selfishness…

“For God doth know that in the day in which you shall eat of it,

ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil!”

Genesis, Chapter 3.

.

Yes, so many humans have been “cancelled” over the past millenniums, because of some accusation, either a true one but also many false accusations.

“Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity”

And a very troubling aspect to today’s Cancel-Culture is to find fault with some person because of something they might have done or said in past decades.

But one of the problems which critics of the cancel-culture point concerning this current practice is that the morals of society are changing so rapidly that what some accused individual said or did years previous, were acceptable back in those decades.

.

One example of this is how today’s cancel-culture fanatics have tried to cancel the founders of this nation because of some words or deeds they supposedly did, which were in sync with the commonly acceptable morals of those times.

“yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service”

Now, many of us in the Christian community gaze out on our society and look with disgust at today’s cancel-culture for their dishonesty and hypocrisy.

And yet, sadly, the Church has engaged in the exact same practice, many times!

For example, one of the most common criticisms which her detractors make is that Ellen G. White stole or plagiarized some of her writings.

.

Well, what today’s church-leaders ignore is that back in the 1800’s, it was a commonly acceptable practice to borrow the writings of other Christian authors.

.

As a matter of fact, Christian authors were mostly delighted to have their written thoughts shared by other authors!

.

They viewed this practice as a glory to God, to think that their writings were shared!

JUDGING ELLEN WHITE BY TODAY’S AVARICIOUS STANDARDS

.

And let’s not forget, that we now live in a day in which there are strict copyright laws, and very jealous attempt to prevent others from borrowing from another Christian author.

.

But it wasn’t like this back in previous generations.

.

For example, Ellen White was asked by various people to condense a rather large volume on the Book of Acts, written by another author.

.

She made no effort to cover this up, as if she was some sort of plagiarist.

.

No, she freely made clear that her simplifying that author’s work, was merely done to make the book more easily readable.

.

But her critics today ignore that the laws and common practices in the 1800’s were vastly different from today’s stringent standards!

ELLEN WHITE’S OWN WORDS REGARDING BORROWING

.

Ellen White often made use of literary sources in communicating her messages. In the Introduction to one of her most popular books she wrote:

“In some cases where a historian has so grouped together events as to afford, in brief, a comprehensive view of the subject, or has summarized details in a convenient manner, his words have been quoted;

but in some instances no specific credit has been given, since the quotations are not given for the purpose of citing that writer as authority, but because his statement affords a ready and forcible presentation of the subject.

In narrating the experience and views of those carrying forward the work of reform in our own time, similar use has been made of their published works”

(The Great Controversy, p. xii).

.

As we can easily see here, Ellen White made no attempt to hide the fact that she borrowed from her peers, in a day in which Christians were delighted and honored to have their efforts magnified by others if that resulted in God and the Bible being magnified!

.

Yes, there’s be a whole lot of cancelling going on throughout the ages.

And so, as already declared, the cancel-culture was alive and well, even from the original Garden, and to the day in which they cancelled Jesus, and to the apostles also being cancelled, and even the various Christian martyrs, who were cancelled.

CANCEL-CULTURE COMING FOR CHRISTIANS

And even the Bible prophesied that in these last moments, faithful Christians will likewise be cancelled, many forfeiting their jobs, livelihood, and even their very own lives simply because they boldly proclaim the true, unvarnished Gospel.

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

.

Here is seen that Revelation 13:17 foretells of humanity’s last big cancelling of Christians, in which they will be prevented from buying and selling.

“Then the moon shall be confounded,

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Gen. 1:16).

.

The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.

So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world.

.

But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world, so also must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion.

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face.

This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord.

**Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).**

ANGELS ON MY SHOULDERS

Remember those cartoons in which a person has two little angels on his shoulder, each speaking in his ear…

.

…one little devil urging him to sin, and a good angel warning him against committing that sin?

.

Of course, Satan is extremely clever, and makes those ridiculous-looking cartoons to cause this atheistic world to mock such an absurd idea.

.

But truth-be-told, angels “which are greater in power and might” are not sitting on a person’s shoulders, but these large and powerful, invisible beings actually do indeed minister to humans. 2nd Peter 2:11

Hebrews 1:14

But this above verse from Hebrews 1:14 reveals that angels do indeed minister to God’s people!

And the counsels and proddings which we often attribute to our conscience may indeed be those “ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation…”

One of the easiest things to do, is to judge others! It’s almost like breathing! It takes no effort.

And wherever we are and no matter what we are doing, we are judging, whether consciously or not!

We judge that item in the grocery store.

.

We judge what clothes we buy.

.

We judge people’s looks.

.

We judge the words they speak.

.

We judge who our leaders will be, and how they perform their office duties.

It’s seemingly countless, the number and types of judgments we humans make in a single day!

If we had supernatural vision, we would be utterly shocked to realize that good angels and evil angels are urging to sin or to not sin.

.

But these are not little cartoon figures!

.

No, rather, these myriads of majestic giants, both good and evil, work invisibly in the shadows, advising and warning us, even as we go about our daily routines!

WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?

.

**A book was published some decades ago titled, “In His Steps”.**

.

**And the basic premise of that book was the admonition to always ask one’s own self “What would Jesus do?” in every questionable situation.**

.

And actually, that is a very correct way at looking at life. “What would Jesus do?”

.

Now, the Bible admonishes us in this manner…

***…”And thine ears shall hear a word behind* *thee,***

saying, ‘This is the way, walk ye in it,

when ye turn to the right hand,

and when ye turn to the left.'”

Isaiah 30:21

.

Now, this passage is not saying that we will hear an audible voice, as many erroneously suppose.

.

But rather, it is merely saying that when we begin to take a wrong course, our conscience will tug at us to return to the correct course.

.

Now, this unbelieving world-in-rebellion, are at the mercy of higher powers.

They do not realize that unseen antichrist beings are leading them and their thoughts throughout their day.

.

Oh yes, God, in His great mercy, restrains those evil angels to a certain degree in what they are allowed to do.

.

But make no mistake! This antichrist world, to a high degree, pays heed to the unseen principalities and powers who rule over the world!

And so, whenever we come to a circumstance in which we must make a decision concerning right or wrong, good or evil, there will most likely be a choice to be made.

And for Christians with a sensitive conscience, the choices presented to us are more vivid and clear.

.

For example, if we encounter a drunken street person, the urge may come over us to scorn or mock or criticize that person.

.

But then, we may also feel a tug to empathize with that lost soul, knowing that he (or she) is also a victim of Satan’s hateful assaults on mankind, via his vast, unseen armies.

.

And thus, the choice is presented to us in countless situations of everyday life.

.

The Good News is, that God has provided a Way for each and every one of us to become increasingly more in tune to the promptings of the Holy Spirit.

Quite often, those Old Testament people of God are scorned by today’s Christians for their unbelief.

.

After all, God sent many prophets to His professed people back in those times, in hopes of causing those erring Old Testament people to turn away from their idolatry and rebellion.

.

“ARE WE BETTER THAN THEY? NO, IN NO WAY!”

Romans 3:9

But really, wouldn’t today’s Christian community react the very same way that the Old Testament Church reacted?

With anger?

With unbelief?

.

With skepticism: looking for just one little error, so that we wouldn’t have to be bothered anymore with such a seemingly new message?

Well, the fact is, that’s pretty much what happened when one Harold Camping began to sound his message of alarm to the entire unbelieving world!

The Christian community mostly proved that we were NOT of noble stock!

Nor were we like those noble Bereans of old, who, “searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.” Acts 17:11

The fact is, those who are truly Christians, have an insatiable desire to know any and everything that the Bible teaches!

And someone like Harold Camping would only spark a genuine interest in truth-hungry souls, as this man in this photo appears to possess!

NO SEARCHING HEARTS

No, there was no noticeable, true searching of the Scriptures daily in hopes that this messenger was the real thing!

There was no getting ready for Christ’s return!

And we had many months to do so, prior to May 21st, 2011.

But instead of genuine concern and humble soul-searching, Camping received a verbal rock-stoning!

.

And this came in the form of a whole lot of mockery!

“Camping’s in it for the money!”

“He’s mentally-ill!”

“He’s just plain crazy!”

“He’s demon-possessed!”

“Senile!”

And then, after his prediction seemingly failed, seemingly, the entire Christian community joined in with the unbelieving world to condemn Camping with one voice!

It was truly amazing to see such a faithless display among those who claimed to be open-minded Bereans!

Well, May 21st came and went, and everyone was happy and felt very justified in their condemnation of the man and his message!

But what nobody considered was, that God had given this as a test for the Church!

And we failed miserably!

Yes, just like those Old Testament Jewish leaders, whom we love to criticize!

.

And yet, God knew we would fail that test.

He merely wanted us to realize just how stiff-necked and uncircumcised we really are, in hopes that we might repent of our undone spiritual condition!

GOOD NEWS!

Well, the Good News is that God is not giving up so easily on those who claim to be His humble followers.

After all, God knew His people weren’t ready for His Second Coming.

That’s why the world didn’t end on May 21, 2011.

God knew we needed some additional time to get right with Heaven.

Yes, God will have a victorious people!

Even if He has to, “of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.” Luke 3:8 Yes, God ca

And if there are any “Noble Bereans” who decide that these things are worth spending some serious time searching out, concerning why Camping taught what he taught about the Last Day, there is still time…

CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment!

As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into a similar color and shape of that undersea object!

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner-workings of the unseen kingdom of Satan.

In other words, this current-day “public square” can instantly cancel anyone who says or advocates anything contrary to what is allowed by the unseen rulers of the world.

The leaders of this movement to change what is deemed to be acceptable, and not acceptable, are working hard to punish and cancel anyone who does not bow down to the speech maxims.

And because the Internet is able to control each individual’s ability to be heard or not heard, and to even control who can buy and sell, speech is just one more way to persecute anyone who refuses to bow down to this antichrist world-system.

This above verse foretold of a day in which the Bible would be a “witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come”. And by means of radio, television and Internet, that worldwide witness is now possible!

**Well, as the prophet Habakkuk forewarned, it is now time for Christians to “RUN!” And many similar Bible warnings likewise tell us to “flee to the mountains” in these last moments of time.**

7 STARS IMITATE THE CROSS OF ORION

This phenomenon begins in late October, in the pre-dawn hours. It then begins a little earlier each night, and lasts for several months, until they both appear to lie down once again.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in. You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west. You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south. Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill. The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill. The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward. It stands upright a little later in the night. Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross! Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

Part 36:

“Why Have the Cities of the Nations Fallen?'”

(Revelation 16:19 Explained)

“And the great city was divided into three parts,

and the cities of the nations fell:

and great Babylon came in remembrance before God,

to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of His wrath”

Revelation 16:19

This above passage from Revelation 16:19 makes three prophecies:

1 – The great city would be divided into three parts.

2 – The cities of the nations would fall.

3 – Babylon would be ripe for God’s judgment, receiving the cup of the wine of the fierceness of God’s wrath.

Most likely, all three of these prophecies are speaking of Babylon: Babylon, being this antichrist world-system, and Babylon, the apostate churches.

And so, just what is Babylon?

Since Lucifer, now given the office of “Satan…the Accuser”, is referred to as “The King of Babylon” in Isaiah 14:4, 12, then we can assume that invisible being, whom 2nd Corinthians 4:4 refers to as “the god of this world”, is the true “King of Babylon”: Babylon being this antichrist world-system!

**But also, because Revelation 17:5 refers to “MYSTERY BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS”, then we might also conclude that Babylon also includes the harlot churches.**

**This duality of the world/apostate-churches seems to explain very well why Revelation 18:4 says, “Babylon is fallen is fallen”.**

In short, this prophecy seems to speak both of the world-system, but also, the world-loving church-system as being TWICE FALLEN, as is written, “Babylon is fallen, is fallen”!

And even many cities which have not yet literally crumbled have fallen into crime, vice, and immorality.

Now, if one watches the Internet, there is a call now being trumpeted to once again return to the law and order of decades past.

But the question to be asked is this: “Why are the city, state, and federal governments seemingly helpless to bring about a return to sanity, civility, and morality? Why can’t this downward spiral be stopped, even reversed?”

The deep-down problem is, the politicians of city, state and federal government have attempted to solve the human dilemma without the help of God!

And because these secularists have rejected Heaven’s help, they have been left to solve the crises by themselves.

Today’s Bible teachers and theologians try their best to deny and cover up the fact that historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren denomination.

.

**Today’s Bible teachers/theologians would love you to believe that the name, “The Rapture”, is the proper biblical name for Christ’s Return.**

.

But the fact is, in the New Testament, centuries prior to these two men, the God-given, biblical name, “The Coming of the Lord” was correctly used by all Christians. (See 1st Thessalonians, 4:15)

.

In other words, the so-called “Rapture” is a “Johnny-come-lately” name, relatively speaking. Prior to Darby in the early 1800’s, it was unheard of! Darby coined that name!

What Scofield and Darby did, was to presumptuously take the two words from 1st Thessalonian 4:17, the words, “caught up”, and their Greek counterpart, “harpazo”, and changed “harpazo” into its Latin counterpart, “ripere”, taken from an obscure Catholic Latin Bible).

.

**But ripere is the Latin root for another English word, “rapture”, which, originally, was most commonly defined as being “in a state of euphoria”.**

.

**Then, they morphed “caught up”, a verb into a proper noun, creating a new, exotic-sounding title, “The Rapture”.**

.

Thus, by such a phenomenal and heretical wrestling-match with Scripture, Darby/Scofield were finally able to squeeze out a second return of Christ, instead of the one biblical Return on the “Last Day” (see John, Chapter 6)!

And so, by such twisting of Scripture, Scofield/Darby now invented TWO second “Coming(s) of the Lord”, instead of the Biblical pronouncement of only one! And thus was coined the name, “The Pretribulation Rapture”, adding it to the only true biblical Return of Christ!

**This biblical “Last Day” event is correctly named by God, “The Coming of the Lord” on “the last day” (John, Chapter 6).**

Consequently, the Christian world was now being taught that there were, not one, but TWO separate returns of Christ! And if you missed out on the Christ’s first return, you now would have a second chance!

.

Very clever…and yet, very devilish!

Those Bible teachers who are heavily invested in this Pre-Tribulation Rapture” church-doctrine will misappropriate this above verse from Revelation 3:3, in order to prop-up and bolster the false doctrine given the non-biblical name, “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.

.

Of course, this is just one of many passages which these “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” Darbyites & Scofieldites will wrestle with in attempt to push their false narrative of two separate returns of Jesus.

.

What rapturists fail to tell their followers is that this above verse was proclaimed to a church which existed around the 1st Century, A.D..

.

In other words, Jesus was warning His professed people that if they were not faithful, He might come as a thief, and take away their Heaven-given blessings.

Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame”

Revelation 16:15

.

**Yes, these above two verses (Revelation 3:3 & 16:15), concerning Jesus’ coming as a thief, not only apply to us today, but has likewise applied to churchgoers throughout the past 2,000 years!**

If a churchgoer is unfaithful in that which the Lord has entrusted him or her with, there is a danger of God’s Judgment upon that unfaithful individual.

.

And such a judgment can happen at any time in history!

.

We’ve all seen some seemingly faithful churchgoer suddenly lose his or her faith and belief in Christ.

.

Such an apostasy will take on various forms:

1: a falling back into former ungodly lusts and worldly pursuits:

2: Getting offended out of church-attendance for some reason:

3: Deciding to switch over to some obviously false gospel:

WRESTLING WITH SCRIPTURE

Well, all this confusion begins to make sense when we read 1st Peter 3:16… “they that are unlearned and unstable wrest(le), as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.”

Yes, when those in the apostate church-world begin to teach some false doctrine, then begins the wrestling match, as they feverishly try to twist other scriptures in hopes of attaining some level of agreement between related scriptures which obviously refute their false doctrine.

.

And this is what Darby & Scofield did to invent this totally unbiblical doctrine with the man-contrived name, “The Rapture”.

Remember those words?

Well, perhaps the Reader of this article is too young to know about the movie which popularized those words, “There’s no place like home!”

THE WIZARD OF OZ

And for those who are too young to know, that movie, The Wizard of Oz, was a blockbuster mega-movie starring that fresh-faced young lady named Judy Garland, who played Dorothy of Kansas.

And in this incredible movie, young Dorothy was taken up in a Midwest tornado-whirlwind, soon finding herself in a colorful wonderland in which she and three fellow seekers begin an arduous journey to find The Wizard of Oz, in hopes of asking him to give to each of these four sojourners, that one thing which was lacking in each of their respective lives.

Dorothy, of course, was wanting the Wizard to help her find her way home, back to Kansas.

.

And in the end of this charming movie, Dorothy is told to keep repeating the words, “There’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…” And lo and behold, when she opens her eyes, she finds herself back home in Kansas, now appreciating her home and humble circumstances like she never had done so before!

So, what’s the point of this article?

SUSPICIOUS RESEMBLANCE TO PILGRIM’S PROGRESS

The point is, that this movie, which has captured the hearts of successive generations since it first aired, had a very suspicious resemblance to the book, Pilgrim’s Progress, by John Bunyan.

Yes, The Wizard of Oz was obviously, the secular world’s answer to that incredible allegorical tale by Bunyan, which also won the hearts of, and greatly encouraged millions of Christian pilgrims since it was first penned in the mid-seventeenth century!

The big difference between those two tales, is that in Bunyan’s book, the focus was on the Pilgrim’s sojourn to the Celestial City (Heaven).

On the other hand, The Wizard of Oz movie only proved that this present world is the best place to be.

SANTA CLAUSE & THE WIZARD BOTH INSPIRE UNBELIEF

**And just like that old mythical character, “Santa Clause”, that great pretender, “The Wizard of Oz” likewise had a very suspicious resemblance to God, The Father.**

Yes, when Dorothy’s dog pulled back the Wizard’s curtain, it was discovered that the wizard was just a mere mortal man, fraudulently posing as a Wizard.

Well, that mega-movie is a very great example of how Satan masterfully uses the various media to get people’s eyes focused downward.

On the other hand, Bunyan’s tale, Pilgrim’s Progress, got its readers eyes focused upward, to Heaven!

Yes, even moviegoers cannot escape the battle between Heaven and Hell (that is, the Hell of this present world). And the Wizard of Oz has been one of Satan’s most successful Hollywood productions, for the above stated reason.

“THE PRINCE OF THE POWER OF THE AIR…”

Oh yes, Satan is very subtle! He was subtle when he first deceived Mankind in the Garden, and he is even more subtle today, in the ways that he deceives the world’s citizens!

The Bible declares that “Satan…deceives the whole world” Revelation 12:9.

And the greatest subtilty of this low-profile deceiver has been to seemingly reduce himself to a mere myth in the minds of men, causing mankind to deny his very existence!

And as charming as that movie was, it nevertheless was a very subtle assault by that unseen Master Deceiver Antichrist spirit, to further cause moviegoers to disbelieve in the existence of God!

It exposed the great Wizard of Oz as a complete fraud!

Yes, Satan has used the modern media to convince much of this world that God is nothing more than a mythical character, thus plunging a great portion of the earth’s inhabitants into a hopeless prison called, “Atheism”, now deceiving them into thinking that there is no way of escape out of this sad and hopeless world of death!

“And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon”

This above verse from Revelation 13:11, foretells of this very day in which Satan is using the various media goliaths to deceive and destroy the nations.

The lies, the hypocrisy, the coverups, the obfuscation, the tyranny, the immorality, and all the corruption broadcast on a 24/7 basis by the mass-media has become Satan’s chosen weapon of destruction of the human race, in these final hours of earth’s history!

Yes, “Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high”, there actually exists a “Promised Land” which is infinitely more wonderful than any fictional tale which any storyteller or movie producer could ever possibly imagine!

And that Promised Land is waiting for the arrival of all Pilgrims who are weary of this sorrowful world of sickness, death, and hopelessness!

***THE ARK, CROSS/SCEPTER* *& FLOWER OF THE FIELD***

“And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelation 11:19

The below sketch is of the southernmost constellations: The Ark of the Covenant, the Flower of the Field, and the Cross/Scepter Constellations. As you can see in the sketch, the two stars in this Ark of the Covenant Constellation, (on either side of the Ark) do not look like these two angels. This sketch is just an overly generous rendering of this constellation. This sketch does however, present a view of the Ark, as it might have appeared (somewhat) in Solomon’s temple. This constellation is commonly known as “Sagittarius”. Why the ancients saw this as a centaur (man/horse figure) is a mystery. Maybe someone knows.

TEMPLE IN HEAVEN OPENED

But the really big important fact is that this constellation is spoken of in Revelation… “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the Ark of His Testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.” Revelation 11:19. This constellation begins to fulfill this prophecy in this above verse. But as you read more and more of Signs Of Heaven, you will see a greater fulfillment of this prophecy. Because not only will the temple be opened in Heaven, but you will receive instructions as to how you may enter by faith into the true temple in Heaven and into the true Most Holy Place where the actual Ark is (the heart of God).

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as in the days that were before the flood

they were eating and drinking,

marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

And knew not until the flood came,

and took them all away;

so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

Then shall two be in the field;

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill;

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Watch therefore:

for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known

in what watch the thief would come,

he would have watched,

and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

Therefore be ye also ready:

for in such an hour as ye think not

the Son of man cometh.

Today’s Bible teachers and theologians try their best to deny and cover up the fact historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren denomination.

.

Today’s Bible teachers/theologians would love you to believe that the name “The Rapture” is the proper biblical name for Christ’s Return. But the fact is, in the New Testament centuries prior to these two men, the God-given, biblical name, “The Coming of the Lord” was correctly used. (See 1st Thessalonians, 4:15)

“As also in all his epistles, (Paul) speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction”

What Scofield and Darby did, was to presumptuously take the two words from 1st Thessalonian 4:17, the words, “caught up”, and their Greek counterpart, “harpazo”, and changed “harpazo” into its Latin counterpart, “ripere”, (taken from an obscure Catholic Latin Bible), which is the Latin root for another English word, “rapture”, which, originally, was most commonly defined as being “in a state of euphoria”. Then, they morphed “caught up”, a verb into a proper noun, creating a new, exotic-sounding title, “The Rapture”.

.

Thus, by such heretical wrestling with Scripture, Scofield/Darby then began to promote the idea that Christ would “rapture” His Church out of the world, just prior to the prophecies of Revelation being fulfilled.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”

And so, by such twisting of Scripture, Scofield/Darby now invented TWO second “Coming(s) of the Lord”, instead of the Biblical pronouncement of only one! And thus was coined the name, “The Pretribulation Rapture”, and the second return, using the God-given name for the event, “The Coming of the Lord” on “the last day”.

.

Consequently, the Christian world was now being taught that there were, not one, but TWO separate returns of Christ! And if you missed out on the Christ’s first return, you now would have a second chance!

.

Very clever…and yet, very devilish!

So, let’s just “cut-to-the-chase”, as the saying goes, and somewhat dissect our signature verse…

So here it says that the Coming of the Son of Man will be like the days of Noah: it was “business as usual” in the world: eating drinking, marrying, etc….

And then, the flood came and took them (the rejecters of God’s plea to get into the Ark) all away in that watery deluge.

But Jesus now compares this to the Coming of the Son of Man: “…so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.”

.

Okay, so who was taken away in Noah’s flood? “they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away;”

.

So, it was those who continued enjoying the things of the world, being too busy to be bothered with getting aboard the Ark of safety. These worldly-minded ones were taken away!

.

**And so, who will be taken when Jesus comes as a “thief in the night?” Listen to Luke’s Gospel, as God makes a similar statement…**

Luk 17:35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
Luk 17:37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

.

So in this passage, Jesus’ disciples actually ask “Where, Lord?” They obviously were asking where were the ones being taken.To this, Jesus replied…”Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.” In other words, the ones being taken were taken to be destroyed, consumed by eagles! And the ones being left were left in the field, or left grinding at the mill!

THE SO-CALLED PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE

Historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren denomination.

.

But prior to the 1800’s, it was almost universally accepted that Scripture only speaks of one return of Christ.

.

And both these men were inspired by the “Futurist” doctrine of a 16th-Century Jesuit theologian, Francisco Ribera, whose teachings were concocted to combat the Christian-community’s widely held teaching that the authoritarian European papal religious system was the literal fulfillment of Revelation 13’s afore-promised Antichrist.

What Scofield and Darby did, was to presumptuously take the two words from 1st Thessalonian 4:17, the words, “caught up”, and their Greek counterpart, “harpazo”, and changed “harpazo” into its Latin counterpart, “ripere”, (taken from an obscure Catholic Latin Bible), which is the Latin root for another English word, “rapture”, which, originally, was most commonly defined as being “in a state of euphoria”. Then, they morphed “caught up”, a verb into a proper name, “The Rapture”.

Thus, by such incredible wrestling-match with Scripture, Scofield/Darby then began to promote the idea that Christ would “rapture” His Church out of the world, just prior to the prophecies of Revelation being fulfilled.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”

And so, by such twisting of Scripture, Scofield/Darby now invented TWO second “Coming(s) of the Lord”, instead of the Biblical pronouncement of only one! And thus was coined the unbiblical name, “The Pretribulation Rapture”, and the second return, using the God-given name for the event, “The Coming of the Lord” on “the last day”.

Consequently, the Christian world was now being taught that there were, not one, but TWO separate returns of Christ! And if you missed out on the Christ’s first return, you now would have a second chance!

Now, just why is it important to know if there ONE Second Coming or TWO Second Comings? Or rather, a Second and a Third Coming of Christ?

THE DARBY/SCOFIELD DECEPTION

But history records reveal, that in the centuries prior to John Darby, practically the entire church-world only taught one return of Christ, on the “last day”. As a matter of fact, for those who have read the Bible, not already indoctrinated into the “Pre-Trib Rapture” ideology, will only find references to one Return of Christ. In other words, it took some major wrestling with Scripture to come up with this convoluted church-doctrine!

But Satan, knowing that two returns and a second chance would greatly disarm God’s naive people, cleverly led Darby and Scofield to discover those certain verses which could be misused to support two returns.

Don’t Worry! You Can Always Catch the Second Train Out of Here!

One thing is for sure! There are many who have taken a relaxed attitude, simply because they have been deceived by Darby & Scofield’s heresy of a so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, believing that they will be taken up PRIOR to the Great Tribulation!

To show just how absurd this whole notion of, not only the 2nd Return, but also an additional 3rd Return is, listen to this: There are some, maybe even many others, who are so deceived, that they actually are hoping to get “left behind” so that they can witness all the horrendous events of The Great Tribulation, and the coming Antichrist and his buddy, The False Prophet!

And this morbid and absurd desire has been bolstered by a lot of intriguing and exciting movies glamorizing those who got “left behind”.

And this wrestling with Scripture, is just one more reason why God is calling His people out of “The City of Confusion”, mystery Babylon…

Yes, this entire false doctrine concerning the so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture is just one more heresy among many, which the apostate church-world teaches.

There have been a number of so-called revivals in the western nations, beginning with the “Great Awakening” of the 1700’s, launched by Jonathon Edward’s frightening sermon, “Sinners in the Hands of An Angry God”.

SECOND “GREAT” AWAKENING

But, the following revivals, such as the so-called, “Second Great Awakening”, brought in some very questionable doctrines, most notably, the “Freewill Salvation”, in which some people possess enough innate goodness to choose to follow Jesus.

The next revival, the Azusa Street Revival brought in numerous signs and wonders…

Then, there was the totally unbiblical idea that Jesus would come again, not once, but twice! This was originated by one, John Darby of the Plymouth Brethren in and later popularized by C. I. Scofield, J. Vernon Mcgee, and later by the 1970’s book, “The Late, Great Planet Earth”.

The next “revival” began in the late 1960’s in which the church-world capitulated to the fashionable rock music and relaxed dress codes of that era.

This movement was known as the Jesus Revolution and quickly spread elsewhere from its origin in Southern California.

This movement was a combination of the Hippie movement of that era and combined “Flower-Power” with the love of Jesus.

One Lonnie Frisbee, a closet homosexual and self-described “LSD-freak-turned-preacher” spearheaded this movement with the aid of various southern Californian pastors who were struggling to revive Christianity which was faltering in the western nations.

This movement brought in popular music, casual dress, and a watered-down version of the Gospel, and various other worldly elements, such as comedy, rock-n-roll, etc….

FLOWER OF THE FIELD IN HEAVEN

This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created. It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward. But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

And these are not merely obscure stars. These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens.

**The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .**

The Flower of the Field is also known as Scorpio .

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group. Notice that the birds are flying in the same direction as the flower is bending; it is as if the east wind is blowing these heavenly messengers. “The wind blows where it desires, and you hear the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. WHY IS THIS FLOWER POINTING UPWARD?

To the right is a star-chart from Wikipedia. The editor of this site has sketched in the Flower of the Field Constellation on this constellation commonly referred to as the Scorpio Constellation (plus a few other close-by bright stars). Do you see the long blade of grass growing from the base of the Flower of the Field? This is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation. As this sketch shows, the flower appears to be pointing to Arcturus and the Revelation 12 Woman (shown in sketch below). Arcturus represents Jesus, as He leads His sons (and daughters) on a spiritual journey up a heavenward pathway, as is written… “Canst you bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or can you guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.

Part 10 “Why Does God Break Our Hearts?”

Psa_34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Psa_51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

.

Have you ever heard someone angrily make the following complaint…“If God is so good, then why does He allow so much tragedy?!”

.

Or you might also hear this similar remark…“If God is so loving, why doesn’t He just stop all the evil?!”

.

Well, these are legitimate questions!

.

Just why does God allow all the bad stuff?

.

And God had two choices:

.

Plan 1: To annihilate mankind, or…

.

Plan 2: allow selfishness to play itself out to its ultimate results.

.

And since God is a loving and merciful God, He chose Plan 2: He allowed mankind to continue existing in this fallen world, filled with all its lusts and desires.

.

But God also allowed our selfishness to manifest itself for what it truly is: a destructive government, resulting in human misery and death.

.

Well, to put it concisely, even bluntly, God is trying to break our selfish hearts!

.

In other words, He knows the hearts of humans, that we love our selfish ways!

.

And we love this self-seeking world!

.

So, God must allow this selfish world-system to play itself out until humanity finally realizes sin’s horrific results.

.

There are many unhappy citizens, even “gnashing of teeth” against God, crying out “If there is a God, then He’s a heartless monster!

“Just look at all the innocent children being trafficked,” they bitterly say, “being abused, getting cancer!

“And your wonderful God just sits back and says, ‘Tough Luck!'”

.

The problem is, that Planet Earth’s citizenry cannot see beyond this little life.

.

This short little existence is all they are concerned with.

.

They cannot see the Promised Land waiting beyond the grave of all them who put their trust in the Savior!

.

“He hath made every thing beautiful in his time” Ecclesiastes 3:11

.

The very Good News is, that there is coming very soon a new day of which it is written…

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth…

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

and there shall be no more death,

neither sorrow, nor crying,

neither shall there be any more pain:

for the former things are passed away.”

Revelation 21:1, 4

.

All those who put their trust in Jesus will “look up, and lift up your heads” and realize that God will raise up all those who suffered at the cruel hand of Satan.

.

And they will rise from their graves, only to enter into that Promised Land in which they will be forever happy, forever healthy, and forever young!

.

GRASPING FOR SCEPTER AND A CROWN…

.

**This page however just deals with the Woman travailing in child-birth.**

**When she is in labor, she appears to reach out her hand southward to grasp a The Cross/Scepter, which is coming from the South, out of an ark-like box.**

**There also is a Crown of 12 Stars (13 counting a star in the center).**

.

**But the Crown (the Corona Borealis Constellation) is not yet on her head.**

.

The crown is to the south of her.

.

**So, she is grasping for the Cross/Scepter.**

She doesn’t yet wear the crown.

This reminds us of that well-known passage in Philippians which states…

…”Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended:

but this one thing I do,

forgetting those things which are behind,

and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

I press toward the mark for the prize

of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 3:13, 14

And also, another verse of the apostle Paul…

…”Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness,

which the Lord, the righteous judge,

shall give me at that day:

and not to me only,

but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

2nd Timothy 4:8.

So, this woman with child is grasping, either for that Cross/Scepter, or perhaps that crown, or both.

.

This is such an incredible scenario in the heavens!

.

But this is a very complex concept.

.

Because this headless woman-with-child, which turns upside down in winter to become the “Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12”; and combine this with that Crown and that Cross/Scepter, of which she appears to be grasping for in summer, and these various aspects present a great portion of what the Bible is about.

What were you doing on the morning of the 911 attacks?

Well, one thing is for certain, when 911 occurred, the world was awakened out of our slumber!

.

And most Americans remember their exact circumstances, when the news was announced regarding the fall of the Twin Towers.

.

And the great irony to that event, was that it happened on 911, which is the universal emergency phone-call number in the United States!

.

Well, that event had its effects. And in the weeks, even months following, church attendance skyrocketed!

.

People were very nervous about the fate of the world. And rightfully so!

.

And didn’t that catastrophic event seem like a giant wake-up call?

.

*National borders illegally overrun by foreigners, many bringing in deadly drugs, enslaved-children; some ruthless gangsters, some hate-filled terrorists, etc., while the government turns a blind eye, even offering them financial inducements!

*The mass media becoming a modern-day Orwellian “Big Brother”, spying, lying, censoring, intimidating, pitting various people-groups against each-other!

*Courts and judges making unjust decisions, disregarding the rule of law!

*Government leaders spewing “convenient” lies without the slightest twinge of conscience while the mass media goliaths cover up for their lies and hypocrisy!

*Deadly drugs being legalized!

*Cities becoming a crime-ridden dystopian hellscape while mayors and governors unable or unwilling to uphold the laws which would quickly solve the problem!

*Schoolboys and girls being forced by administrators to shower and undress with one-another!

*Young children encouraged by societal leaders to have their healthy body-parts mutilated for some perverted desire, ensuring them a future of sadness, hopelessness, social problems, and medical issues, even suicide!

Well, this list of insanities and atrocities goes on, and on, and on: much too numerous to attempt to list here in this article!

Amidst all this negativity concerning the great Judgment Day now upon us, there is much Good News!

This is because there has been a way of escape provided for and every man, woman, and child who desires to escape the tsunami of madness and destruction now overtaking the world!

And all those who renounce this, Lucifer’s fallen, antichrist world-system, and begin their trek up the Highway to Heaven, they will soon enter onto the soft, green grass of the Earth-made-new, in which

“…God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes;

and there shall be no more death,

neither sorrow,

nor crying,

neither shall there be any more pain:

for the former things are passed away.”

In that glorious Promised Land…“the land flowing with milk and honey” (Numbers 14:8, etc…)…

Yes, with the advent of the World-Wide-Web, the opportunities abound for complaining, criticizing, mocking, and finger-pointing!

“YOU’RE OPPRESSING ME!”

And one of the main criticisms we hear nowadays is that this or that particular people-group is oppressing those of another particular people-group!

**And with much help from the news-media-goliaths, along with social-media-sites, all this, “You’re oppressing me!”, has become a favorite pastime for a rather large swath of people-groups!**

And with what they now term as “Identity Politics”, it seems like no matter which way we turn, there’s a whole lot of finger-pointing going on!

WHO’S THE MOST OPPRESSED?

Now, with all the seemingly countless people-groups in the world, one might wonder just which particular group happens to be the most oppressed.

Certainly, we hear a whole lot of talk about this group or that group being the most oppressed and persecuted.

Maybe some color-group? Maybe some religious group? Maybe the poor of the world? Maybe some political group? Or some gender group? Or some particular nation?

.

So, just which group qualifies as the most oppressed group?

Well, just think about it!

This entire world is suffering the wrath and persecution by the “the god (and Prince) of this world”, Lucifer, now entitled, “The Devil” and “Satan”!

And not just sensual lust or substance abuse!

No, there are many who are driven to other insane lusts of various types:

…Talented and/or outwardly attractive people driven to achieve the spotlight and limelight in some way…

…Spouses/parents are often satanically driven to some form of oppression against their spouse and/or their children…

…gamesters are often driven to and insatiable lust for more gaming/sports/etc….

…Liars/cheats/scammers are unknowingly and helplessly being driven to even more lying, cheating, and scamming…

.

…politicians are often helplessly caught up in the madness of politics and the insane pursuit of even greater power and authority than they currently possess…

.

…TV/radio/Internet Bible teachers/evangelists, and self-proclaimed prophets are helpless victims of Satan’s oppressive delusions, lost in spiritual darkness, preaching and teaching false-church-doctrines, “deceiving and being deceived”! (2nd Timothy 3:13)

…Wicked local, state, and federal governments allowing deadly drugs which are destroying the lives of millions, casting them into the daily bondage of seeking after more drugs…

…CEOs of the Internet giants are unknowingly goaded on by evil angels, to stamp out anything that looks like Christianity and morality…

.

…So-called “mentally ill” persons are being used by “the rulers of the darkness of this world” to deceive the human race into believing that so-called “mental illness” is due to some chemical imbalance or childhood trauma…

.

…Sodomy and confusion is being forced upon young minds, and forced upon those who teach such abominations by a very cruel “Prince of the Power of the Air, that spirit which now works in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2, 3)

How To Breeze Through the Coming Crisis!

.

Part 10:

“They That Sow in Tears Shall Reap in Joy!”

“They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

He that goeth forth and weepeth,

bearing precious seed,

shall doubtless come again with rejoicing,

bringing his sheaves with him. “

Psalm 126:5, 6

.

The title of this little 10-part series is called “How To Breeze Through the Coming Crisis!”.

.

And so, how in the world can this little 10th installment be subtitled…“They That Sow in Tears Shall Reap in Joy“!?

.

It just doesn’t make sense!

.

So, let’s explore, for a moment, some Bible passages which will help us to reconcile these two seemingly conflicting ideas: “breezing through the Coming Crisis” and “sowing in tears”.

.

“AS SORROWFUL, YET ALWAY REJOICING!”

.

The very first passage is a powerful argument in favor of this puzzling, yet wonderful dichotomy…

.

“But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God,

in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses…

In stripes, in imprisonments…

AS SORROWFUL, YET ALWAY REJOICING;

as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing,

and yet possessing all things.”

2nd Corinthians 6:4, 5, 10 (Condensed for brevity)

.

Now this above passage has been condensed, but the point which Paul is making here is rather clear.

.

That is, the Christian’s life will have many sorrowful moments, and yet, at the same time, will have a deep, ever-abiding, inner joy!

.

Or at least it can hopefully be **an ever-abiding-inner-joy, should we (through God’s grace) walk through our daily trials, big or little…**

.

…holding fast to the “exceeding great and precious promises” which are found throughout God’s Word! (1st Peter 1:4)

“For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I (Paul) wrote unto you with many tears”

2nd Corinthians 2:4

.

The Apostle, Paul, shed many tears throughout his long ministry.

.

And yet, he also confessed…

“Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities,

in reproaches,

in necessities,

in persecutions,

in distresses for Christ’s sake:

for when I am weak, then am I strong.”

2nd Corinthians 12:10

.

And of course, Paul counsels all Believers in Philippians 4:9…

…”Those things, which ye have both learned,

and received, and heard,

and seen in me (Paul), do:

and the God of peace shall be with you.”

“THE MINISTRY OF RECONCILIATION”

2nd Corinthians 5:18

.

**But just one more concept should be included in this little devotional. And it is revealed in Romans 12:15…”Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep”.**

.

So here we see that we are to rejoice with those who rejoice, but also, to sorrow and weep with those who are sorrowful and weeping!

.

But if we would merely go through this present “valley of tears” world in a blissful, rapturous euphoria, how could we even begin to comprehend the sufferings of others?

.

How could we possibly comfort them if we ourselves were never ever sorrowful and tearful at times?

In the late 1930’s, one of the most powerful productions came forth from the smokestacks of Hollywood’s newly formed, movie-machinery!

Yes, the Wizard of Oz was a truly incredible work of unforgettable and magical imagery, which has since made a tremendous impact upon movie fans around the world!

.

In it, little fresh-faced Dorothy of Kansas captured the hearts of millions, as she and her three companions sought after the seemingly divine providence of the awesome and dreadful Wizard of Oz!

But like so many other false ideas emanating from this world, Lucifer’s Kingdom of Babylon, the story of the Wizard of Oz was no exception.

WIZARD OF OZ: SECULAR WORLD’S ANSWER TO PILGRIM’S PROGRESS

Oh yes, that magical movie, The Wizard of Oz, captivated the hearts of movie-fans for decades, because it was so charming, colorful, and masterfully-produced!

.

And yet, as wonderful as it seemed, it nevertheless was actually just a cheap “knock-off” of John Bunyan’s allegorical tale, Pilgrim’s Progress.

.

And it was actually just the mirror-opposite of Bunyan’s book, in that it directed the movie audience back down to this present world, instead of upward, to Heaven, as did Bunyan’s tale.

.

In other words, the far-away Land of Oz was really just a cleverly disguised version of this world.

.

And the Wizard was nothing more than an atheist’s version of a non-existent God.

.

And the Wizard telling the Tin Man that he didn’t need a heart because he already had one, was just another deceitful lie by the “god of this world”! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

.

Yes, there are multitudes who would like us to believe that we humans can have inherent goodness apart from God!

THE HUMAN HEART: DECEITFUL & DESPERATELY WICKED!

It’s just like some songsters sang back in the 1970’s, “But Oz never did give nothing to the Tin Man, that he didn’t already have!”

The Bible informs us that the human heart, “is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

Yes, the Bible reveals the true condition of the human heart: “deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked”

But while many unconverted citizens of this, the Devil’s world, have been deluded by that Master-Deceiver into believing they possess a loving heart…

Often these heartless ones are diagnosed by the psychiatric community as being “sociopaths”, lacking any love and lacking a conscience to some degree.

But truth-be-told, the hour is coming in which all those who have not been truly Born Again will be fully made aware that they too are in need of a heart!

Yes, the frightful hour is coming in which God will allow the entire world to reveal just how evil and loveless we fallen humans really are!

Come Out of Her, My People!

Part 64:

“The Final Destruction of Babylon”

Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication…

And I heard another voice from Heaven,

saying, Come out of her, My people,

that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

This above passage has most Bible teachers running in every-which direction, trying to figure out just what and where is this “Babylon” which God commands His faithful ones, to “Come out of her My people!”

.

Some think it might be some city in the Middle East, such as Dubai.

.

Others think it to be Rome.

.

Some, the world economic system.

.

Still others believe that it has not yet been built, but soon will be.

.

And even some believe it is this fallen, Luciferian, Antichrist World-System.

“How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning!”

Well, those who believe Babylon to be this fallen, Luciferian World-System are actually fairly correct, to a certain degree.

Yes, Isaiah, Chapter 14 gives us a big clue that Babylon is Lucifer’s antichrist world-system…

“…That thou shalt take up this proverb against the king of Babylon,

and say…How art thou fallen from heaven,

O Lucifer, son of the morning!

how art thou cut down to the ground,

which didst weaken the nations!

Yes, as this above passage seems to infer, the true King of Babylon is actually Lucifer, the fallen rebel angel.

And this, of course, very much explains why this present world has been and still is so evil, ever since the fallen angels took over the rulership of Planet Earth.

Just consider the various waves of evil which sweep over the nations, and how they all seem to be so well-orchestrated!

Coincidence? Hardly!

But rather, a vast army of unseen spirit-beings, following that original progenitor of evil, Lucifer, are orchestrating the various waves of evil deceptions which have deluged this world-system, since the beginning.

Just marvel at how Lucifer has so wondrously erased himself from the minds of humans, often portraying himself as some red-suited cartoon-character with tail & pitchfork!

Or someone’s little black cat named “Lucifer”.

“MYSTERY BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS”

But let’s clarify this concept of Babylon even further.

.

And thankfully, God gives us many clues as to just what and where is this infamous “city of confusion”! Isaiah 24:10

**And this title alone, “MYSTERY BABYLON, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS”, should give us a giant clue, since the Bible repeatedly compares the apostate church-world to a harlot…**

“And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira…

because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel,

which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach

and to seduce my servants to commit fornication,

and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.”

Revelation 2:18, 20

Now, obviously, Jezebel had been long deceased at the time Revelation was being penned (penned in the 1st century).

And so, God must be speaking metaphorically, comparing Jezebel to a false prophetess, as her adulterous false-doctrines have been and are still misleading the church-world.

“GOOD NEWS FROM A FAR COUNTRY”

Proverbs 25:25

The very Good News is, that we don’t have to remain in the confusion and apostasy which is overtaking the church-world.

The call is now going out…

“And I heard another voice from Heaven,

saying, ‘Come out of her, My people,

that ye be not partakers of her sins,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Revelation 18:4

The only way to truly come out of this twice-fallen city of confusion, Babylon, is to begin the upward sojourn out of this world of confusion.

And by hiding God’s Word, the Bible in our heart, and shutting out the false church-doctrines, and the wares-n-ways of this erring world, only then can we enter into that “highway…called “The Way of Holiness” Isaiah 35:8

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months. The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield. This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull. The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Aries and Pisces. Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape. The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus . The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the Cetus Constellation.

Free-will? What Free-will?

“That One Unanswerable Question!”

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

There is none that understandeth,

there is none that seeketh after God.

They are all gone out of the way,

they are together become unprofitable;

there is none that doeth good, no, not one”

Romans 3:10-12

There has been a 400+ year debate between those who follow John Calvin’s teachings on Election/Predestination, and those who follow Jacobus Arminius’ teaching on Free-Will.

.

This has been perhaps, the most controversial theological question in the history of the Church.

(Actually, no “Bible-only Christian” should ever be giving himself or herself such unbiblical labels as “Calvinist”, or “Arminian”!)

.

BIBLE IS AMBIGUOUS

.

The reason that the controversy continues is because there are many Bible verses which seem to support one or the other viewpoint.

For instance, the Calvinists point to such verses as this one…

“For by grace are ye saved through faith;

and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

Ephesians 2:8, 9

.

The Arminians, on the other hand, use such verses as this one… “choose you this day whom ye will serve;” Joshua 24:15

.

And so, as you can see, there is enough ammunition for either side to use in this longstanding, 400-year debate.

AN EMOTIONAL ISSUE!

.

Now for some reason, the debates over this issue can get very lively, to say the least! And there have actually been fistfights which have resulted from heated debates over this subject! Certainly, many friendships have ended because of this question.

.

THAT ONE UNANSWERABLE QUESTION!

.

But there is one question which no “Free-Will Salvation” advocate can answer!

.

And just what unanswerable question completely befuddles all those who insist that “Well, God looked down the corridors of time and chose all those whom He knew would be looking for and desiring Salvation”.

.

And that one unanswerable question is this: “Why would some people desire Salvation, while most others would not?”

.

This question cannot be answered according to the Bible! And so, Free-Will advocates must avoid this question at all costs!

.

This is because there might be only three possibilities:

.

1: Some people have some tiny spark of goodness which others do not possess…

.

2: or perhaps they just were smarter…

.

3: or they heard a much better-quality sermon, causing them to choose Salvation.

.

So, which is it?

THE GOODIES AND THE BADDIES

.

Most definitely, Salvation is not the result of some people having some little spark of goodness while others do not. It can’t be! Just look at such verses as this one from Psalm 14…

“The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men,

to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

They are all gone aside,

they are all together become filthy:

there is none that doeth good, no, not one.”

Psalm 14:2, 3

.

**Here we see that there is nobody that seeks God…“no, not one”. But those who believe in free-will salvation believe that there are some who do “seek God”.**

.

And all such must engage in a wrestling match with these passages in attempt to make them say something other than the obvious meaning!

JUDGMENT DAY WILL REVEAL

For those who remain undecided about this question, can rest confident, that all such baffling questions will undoubtedly be answered on the Last Day, when standing before the Judgment Throne.

In the meanwhile, let’s not get caught up in human reason and simply put our trust in what the Bible says, not going beyond.

One of the best kept secrets in today’s “Christendom” is the truth about the origins of the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.

Today’s Bible teachers would like their followers to believe that the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture” has always been taught by the Church forefathers. But this is simply not true. The fact is, today’s teachers purposely hide the fact that prior to John Nelson Darby in the 1800’s, virtually nobody taught this doctrine. Not only so, but even the unbiblical name, “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture” was coined by Darby and his associates in the 1800’s.

And so, today’s deceptive teachers keep their congregations ignorant of the truth in attempt to keep the lie going of “two-separate-returns-of-Christ”.

Part 4 “Conquering By Fear”

“The fear of man bringeth a snare:

but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe”

Proverbs 29:25

One very popular thought-leader made the statement, “Tyrants use fear to obtain compliance”.

.

Yes, more and more, we see our government using fear to keep the populace compliant.

.

Never was this truth more evident than during the Covid lockdowns!

.

Politicians with tyranny in their hearts rejoiced in their newly-found powers to place the fearful public under strict authoritarian control!

.

Even the Bible highlights this principle, way back in the Book of Daniel (among other places in Scripture). Yes, King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon used fear to force the citizenry to bow down to his likeness, that 60-cubit high statue made of gold…“whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.” Daniel 3:6

.

But when the three Hebrews refused to bow, Nebuchadnezzar once again used fear…“Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spake, and commanded that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was wont to be heated.” Daniel 3:19

.

With a scary-looking, enraged countenance, the king then commanded the fiery furnace to be heated 7-times hotter. And so, here were two more attempts to intimidate the three Hebrews into submission. But as the story continues, the three still refused, and were cast alive into that furnace, and yet Jesus joined them there, bringing them unharmed through that harrowing experience!

Well, fast-forward to our day! And sadly, and tragically, we are now seeing similar tactics being used in the western nations, the very nations which once rejoiced in the Gospel, but eventually rejected the only true Gospel!

.

Yes, even though we live in a so-called “advanced” world-order, there is an emergence of totalitarians who have gained control of various governments around the world. And just like history’s past dictators, this new breed of totalitarians use fear to gain power over the frightened masses, telling them unless they submit to these power-hungry rulers, then the consequences will be frightening:

.

“You will lose your job!”

.

“Submit to us or the planet will succumb to greenhouse gases!”

.

“Your Christian beliefs will offend and discourage certain protected groups, possibly to the point of driving them to commit suicide!”

.

“You’ll be branded as ‘a racist’, or ‘an extremist’, or ‘a Nazi’! You will be the object of public scorn and derision!”

.

“Capitulate, or government authorities might come and knock on your door to take away your children!”

.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving…

shall have their part

in the lake which burneth

with fire and brimstone:

which is the second death”

THE NARROW GATE STARS

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story). Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (sketch to right is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to below left). But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch to right).
