in the kingdom of Heaven.

But the children of the kingdom

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

So, just how do we walk in the light, and stay in the light?

PARABLE OF THE WEDDING INVITATION

.

Well, perhaps we might find the answer to this question by examining just what could cause a churchgoer to be cast out into outer darkness…

.

Listen…“And Jesus…spake unto them again by parables,

and said, ‘The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king,

which made a marriage for his son…

But they made light of it, and went their ways,

one to his farm, another to his merchandise…

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth:

and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers,

and burned up their city…

And when the king came in to see the guests,

he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment…

Then said the king…cast him into outer darkness;

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 22:1-3, 5, 11-13

The problem with the invited guests was that they were more concerned about this world and all its pleasures and pursuits. And thus, they ignored the invitation.

1 DAY WITH JESUS, 6 DAYS WITH OTHER gODS

.

And so it is today! Churches are filled with parishioners each Sabbath.

.

But the Bible tells us that many of those are still lovers of the world. Oh yes, they attempt to worship God while sitting there in church. But after the service they return to their pursuit of their weekday gods.

.

So, in essence, it is a revolving door of one day of the week, attempting to worship Jesus, followed by six days of vigorously pursuing many modern-day gods: cars, boats, sports, amusements, hobbies, houses, lands, careers, projects, excursions, clubs, TV, radio, high-tech devices, and all the other modern-day idols that are commonly revered in this modern-day cornucopian super-society.

CAST INTO OUTER DARKNESS

.

And so, this Parable of the Wedding Invitation ends with one person sitting in the wedding with no wedding garment. And when discovered, the king said…

“Bind him hand and foot, and take him away,

and cast him into outer darkness;

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Matthew 22:13

.

Yes, this man without a wedding garment symbolizes all those church members who worship God 1-day-per-week, while pursuing all their weekday gods the next 6 days! 

.

A DIFFERENT SPIRIT ENVELOPS

.

Oh no, these idolaters will not be literally thrown out. But in time, a spiritual mist of darkness will envelop them (see Acts 13:11 & 2nd Peter 2:11). And they will become filled with a different spirit, a worldly spirit.

.

And even though they might continue to attend church each week, they will nevertheless become worldly-minded. And the evidence of this is that they will become critical of people, symbolized by the phrase, “gnashing of teeth”. And there will be a spirit of criticism for many other things as well. 

.

WEEPING

.

But they will also weep, because they will have a dim cognizance that their lives have become void of a love for Bible study, contemplation, and ceaseless prayer.

.

Oh yes, they may pick up their Bibles for 15 minutes each morning. And yes, they may still pray at times.

.

But the love for these Christian duties just won’t be there any longer. And they know it. But their love for this world takes precedence over their love for Heaven, and for Heaven’s Jesus! 

.

REPENTANCE POSSIBLE!

But is there any hope for those who have been thrust out into outer darkness? Can such a person ever return to the Lord?

.

Well yes!

.

After all, this is still the day of Salvation! And as Acts 13:11 says…“and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a season.” This man’s darkness was only for a season.

. 

And for all those who come to their spiritual senses once again, the door of mercy is still just barely open! And God may decide that this rejector of grace has suffered in outer darkness long enough! And then they will begin to bitterly weep and plead for restoration and redemption! And they will loathe themselves for all the gnashing on their teeth in their daily criticism of others!

FOREVER FAITHFUL!

.

And there have been many who have returned to the light once again!

.

And once they do return to a restored relationship with God, these will never ever again want to slight the grace of God! They have finally learned their lesson!

.

And now they are ready to completely forsake this present world and once again begin that ever-ascending pathway to Heaven!

.

FOURTH SOLAR SYSTEM MEMBER

Counting the Sun as the 1st heavenly sphere, the Earth is the 4th heavenly sphere. If we extend our theory (and it’s just a theory) that God created our solar system to correspond to the commandments, then planet Earth would correspond to the 4th Commandment.       

.

And so, on the very planet that corresponds to the commandment that exalts the idea of “rest” and “peace”, there exists very little peace. And very little rest. Ironic, isn’t it?

How a Joke Killed!

.

Part 5:

“Vernon McGee: Teacher of Babylon?”

Since the 1970’s, much of the Christian community has depended on the daily Bible studies conducted by John Vernon McGee. Five days a week for about 25-minutes, McGee took us through the Bible, Chapter-by-Chapter, from Genesis to Revelation in a 5-year period.

.

McGee’s thick southern accent and downhome wit captivated millions over the decades.

.

This devotional does not make the determination as to whether or not McGee was a true or false teacher, but merely to point out some falsehoods which this highly revered Bible teacher unknowingly held to and taught.

.

While Vernon McGee may have truly been a genuine Believer, he nevertheless held to some very damnable heresies.

.

The fact is, having been seminary trained, McGee got a great amount of his beliefs from various theologians of his day.

.

Unfortunately, one of those theologians was a heretic of the first-degree by the name, Cyrus I. Scofield. And Vernon became infected by those poisonous doctrines, such as “Pre-Adamic Creation”. Another was the Darby-Scofield heresy of “The Pre-Tribulation Rapture Theory”. Still another was the Scofield heresy known as “Dispensationalism”. And of course, McGee also bought into all the Catholic holidays, probably including the Sunday Sabbath.

.

McGee also was deceived into the heresy of Eternal Torment, as well as other Catholic traditions.

.

McGee also called himself a Calvinist, although it’s doubtful he believed in limited atonement. Maybe he was a 4-point Calvinist.

.

But today’s devotional is dedicated to one heresy in particular, which is perhaps the most beloved heresy of the entire Christian community.

.

J. Vernon McGee loved jesting! And so did his audience! This is one of the primary ingredients to wildly successful daily broadcast!

.

His plain, simple talk, southern drawl, and folksy witticisms made his daily podcasts so interesting and captivating. Not to mention that a great percentage of his theology was very correct!

.

Nevertheless, even though God’s people had not yet been called to flee out of spiritual Babylon, McGee unknowingly taught a compromised Gospel, mingling much truth with the aforementioned heresies.

.

And while “Thru the Bible in 5-Years” may (or may not) have been a legitimate Bible study, it has unknowingly misled millions in the aforementioned heresies!

.

And while this five-year study may (or may not) have been a great discipline for his followers to systematically go chapter-by-chapter through the Bible, yet it has led many astray on those various heresies.

.

God is now calling His people to “Come out of her My people” Revelation 18:4

.

And to leave the many comforts which churches and denominations have provided is understandably a very difficult thing to do! Especially for those who do not fully grasp this End-time Exodus of coming out of Babylon.

.

The Good News is that God will provide all the necessary information for all those who are “Noble Bereans”, willing to accept new truth, prayerfully and carefully. And God will provide all the living bread and waters of grace, much more than we can even imagine as we flee to the mountains in these last hours of history!

.

.

On the morning of that fearful day, when God destroyed Sodom and its surrounding cities, the main player in that true historical account, Lot, tried to warn his sons-in-law to flee from the wrath to come!

.

But his sons-in-law didn’t believe him! They thought he was just joking!

.

Listen… “And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.” Genesis 19:14

.

Perhaps Lot’s sons-in-law were accustomed to hearing Lot make such mocking jests, previous to this fateful morning!

.

Yes, maybe Lot had a reputation of being somewhat of a joker. Maybe Lot was the type who enjoyed a good gag, previous to this solemn moment! Maybe Lot was the type who enjoyed a good laugh!

.

After all, why else would his sons-in-law conclude his was merely joking?

.

Well, we’ll just have to ask Lot, when we meet up with him someday, what exactly did happen on that frightful morning.

.

FOOLISH TALK & JESTING

.

Now, the Bible does not promote being a joker nor a jester! Quite the opposite!

.

Listen… “But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, NOR FOOLISH TALKING, NOR JESTING, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks…Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.” Ephesians 5:3, 4, 6

.

Combine this above passage with the following passage from the same epistle… “Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” Ephesians 2:2

.

Can we see the common thread between these two above passages? The common thread is that both passages are speaking of “children of disobedience”! Yes, those jesters in Ephesians 5:3, 4, 6 are the same group which are indwelt by the “prince of the power of the air…that spirit that now works in the children of disobedience”, found in Ephesians 2:2

.

Now that bit of information should make us think twice about imitating this joking and jesting world!

GOD’S WRATH UPON MOCKERS

.

“I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of Thy hand: for Thou hast filled me with indignation.” Jeremiah 15:17

.

There is so much mocking going on in today’s assemblies, that this above verse from Jeremiah seems to be more relevant today, than when he penned it! Other churches or “cults”, or apostate pastors should be treated with the utmost respect, since they are in darkness, and in need of a Helping Hand!

.

And so, the child of God should stay so far away from mocking others, if for no other reason, than for fear of the fierce wrath of God over such foolery!

.

Listen… “Now therefore be ye not mockers, lest your bands be made strong: for I have heard from the Lord GOD of hosts a consumption, even determined upon the whole earth.” Isaiah 28:22

.

Yes, as this above verse reveals, many of us are prisoners of our sins, not realizing that our mockery of others has caused the wrath of God to come down upon our heads! Read this important verse once again!

THE GOOD NEWS

.

Well, if we have fallen into this miry pit, there is still Good News! This is still the day of repentance! Yes, we can still call out to God for forgiveness and deliverance! And we can determine in our hearts to cease from ever making another stupid comment about others, no matter how much we think they deserve it!

.

Listen… “O LORD, rebuke me not in Thy wrath: neither chasten me in Thy hot displeasure. For Thine arrows stick fast in me, and Thy hand presseth me sore. There is no soundness in my flesh because of Thine anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.” Psalm 38:1-3

.

In this above passage, David is mourning for the results of his foolishness!

.

And likewise, let’s not imagine for even a moment, that we can mock others with impunity!

.

But if I have, and God’s chastening Hand is strong upon me, I can still plead for God’s mercy!

.

And finally one day, I may also say, along with the Psalmist… “A Psalm of David. I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined unto me, and heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And He hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD” Psalm 40:1-3

THE SEEKER (THE SADDUCEE)

The 3rd face of the Moon is a bit more difficult to locate, because it is mostly upside down. But this photo and this sketch are how this face would appear if it was turned right side up. (In the southern hemisphere, however, this is how the Moon would appear.)

.

The third face is the most difficult to see northern hemisphere, but once you do, it then becomes easy. This face is like a furry creature of the field. Maybe a rabbit. Maybe a squirrel. Perhaps a chipmunk. Probably a mouse. All “seekers”; all foragers or scavengers. And while this picture shows this little “beast of the field” right side up, this 3rd face is always pretty much in an upside down position. The other two faces appear right-side-up, and are easier to locate. This photo and this sketch are both turned around to help you see this 3rd face easily. This enhanced sketch to the above right is merely to help you to see this face more easily. (As already stated, this 3rd face is right side up in the southern hemisphere.)

LOCATING 3rd FACE AT BEGINNING OF NIGHT

But this sketch here to the right is how this 3rd face actually appears when the Full Moon is in the east, at the beginning of night, in the northern hemisphere. But all you can readily see is the 1st face.

What you must do to see the 3rd face is to tilt your head to the right, 90 degrees.

.

Do you see it? (You may find it easier if you just turn your screen on its left side, if you are using a laptop. But please don’t do anything to put your computer in jeopardy!)

.

The easiest time of the month to actually see this face is when the Full Moon is in the east, just after dark. It then can be seen by tilting your head 90 degrees to the right. But as night progresses, the Moon rotates clockwise, until this face is completely upside down, as the Moon works its way to the west.

VALLEY OF DECISION NOW APPEARING IN SKY!

Now as we look into the night heavens in this month of August, the Lord has created a constellation group to represent this Valley of Decision concept!

.

It appears as two mountains, with a valley between. One Mount represents the Mount Gerizim, the Mount of Blessings, and the other represents Mount Ebal, the Mount of Cursings, as spoken of in Deuteronomy 11:29.

.

Listen… “These (6 tribes of Israel) shall stand upon mount Gerizim

to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan…

And these (the other 6 tribes)

shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse;”

Deuteronomy 27:12, 13

And so, these two mountains represent the blessings which come to those who obey God, or the cursings which come upon the disobedient!

Most street preachers encounter a whole lot of backlash in their efforts to tell about Jesus and His Salvation.

.

Provided is a link in which several skeptics argue against Christianity and against this particular street preacher.

.

But this is nothing new. Listen to the Gospels…

“And they (the two thieves also on crosses,

“one on His right and one on His left”) that passed by, railed on Him,

wagging their heads, and saying,

‘Ah, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days,

Save thyself, and come down from the cross.'”

But even the many other likewise mocked Jesus…

.

But Jesus didn’t bother arguing with them. Rather, Jesus looked upon all those onlookers and mockers and said…“Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

.

Now, this particular street preacher got into some pretty heated exchanges which happens quite often with Internet street preachers. (And this website absolutely does not condone any anger or shouting when preaching). On the other hand, this preacher goes to various college campuses and assumes the role of a college professor, and engages with students and faculty using logic in effort to make them consider exploring the Bible.

Now this website is not promoting this or any street preacher, but merely using this video as a comparison to all the Bible examples of mocking and deriding in the story of the Cross.

.

Just picture Jesus on the Cross with two thieves, one on His right and one on His left. Both are mocking and deriding Him. This is a picture of the entire human race. We’ve all rebelled against Heaven. We’ve all rejected Jesus. Those two thieves represent all mankind. Those two thieves are a picture of each and every one of us.

.

And yet, at one point, one of those thieves (the thief on the right) began to look upon Jesus differently. And eventually, he turned to Jesus and said…

“And he said unto Jesus,

‘Lord, remember me when Thou comest into thy kingdom’.

And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee,

To day shalt thou be with Me in paradise.”

Luke 23:42, 43

.

This incredible turn of events becomes a tableau: an object lesson and scenario of Salvation. In other words, Like the entire Bible, this particular scenario is a real-life allegory concerning the choice which every man, woman, and child must make: which thief represents me? Am I going to continue to mock Jesus and His offer of everlasting life? Or am I going to change my mind, and call out to Jesus to save me?

And this is how the Bible has been written. It presents literal, historical events which God has orchestrated in such a way

VALLEY OF DECISION ASKS YOU…

“WHICH JESUS WILL YOU CHOOSE?”

These are just some of the different gospels which offer “another Jesus”, and “another spirit”. And each and every one of us will be confronted with the question, “Which Jesus will you choose?”

The Bible speaks of the Valley of Decision…“Multitudes, multitudes in the ‘Valley of Decision’…for the day of the Lord is near in the ‘Valley of Decision’.”  Joel 3:14. Of course, this valley is a spiritual concept and not a literal place.

But God has inscribed this very truth in the heavens. It is called “The Valley of Decision” Constellation. It speaks of that valley that each person must walk through.

When you were a child, did you ever hear the expression, “Are you ready to cry, ‘Uncle’?” Of course, this was a common saying among children to let their opponent know, “I’ve had enough! I can’t take it anymore!”

Yes, whether engaging in a wrestling match, or some other means of inflicting pain on another kid, the universal ‘white flag’ was to cry, “Uncle!”.

One of the more believable speculations of the origin of this saying is from “American Speech” in 1980: that “Uncle in this expression is surely a folk etymology, and the Irish original of the word is ‘anacol’ … ‘act of protecting; deliverance; mercy, quarter, safety’”.

Needless to say, in democratic nations, the continued existence of this great antichrist ideological system depends on having the general populace continuing to support it, via the election process. And God, who ultimately is in charge of who is in power, may decide to put the dregs of humanity to rule the people.

And God does this so that the people will finally and fully learn the true nature of evil. In other words, there is nothing like seeing evil up close and experiencing evil first-hand, to realize the true nature of that evil which so often masquerades itself under a cloak of light and goodness.

The problem is that a great portion of the general populace does not support this ideology. And there is a growing number of citizens who adamantly oppose that particular ideology.

Isa_14:16  They that see thee (Lucifer) shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

But until the world fully sees the evil nature of this beast-power, it will continue to be re-elected until the people fully realize the true evil wickedness of this very prominent head and horn of Satan’s earthly power.

This above verse from Isaiah 14 reveals that the world will finally get a candid view of the fallen rebel angel Lucifer as they get a full-blown reality-check by experiencing the results of sin in its varied heads.

MONSTERS DUE ON MAPLE STREET

In the last few years, this 6th-Head/Left-Horn entity has completely morphed into a full-blown monster. Not being content with pushing atheism, socialism, abortion, etc., Satan is now aggressively promoting sodomy, mass-political/religious-censorship of opposing ideas, sexual mutilation of children, race-based hate, and totalitarianism.

In addition, along with the above abominations, the advent of social high-tech devices has allowed Satan to “speak as a dragon”. Revelation 13:11

.

In other words, Satan now has a very large megaphone in which he is openly spreading his devilish hate-filled lies to the vast multitudes.

And he is now stirring up vast mobs of hate-filled humans, via these devices, willing to kill their supposed enemies, should they ever get the chance to do so.

“And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet…These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.”

These two beasts, the earthly representatives of Satan’s character, will be subjected to the wrath of God, as the Almighty Himself will be the fire and brimstone which burns these ideologies forever and ever. In other words, throughout eternity futures, the inhabitants of the Heavens and earth-made-new will forever scorn these ideologies and the Devil who forced them upon the unknowing multitudes.

“I will lay thee (Satan) before kings, that they may behold thee…All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.”

Now, it must be stated that Lucifer will not be tormented forever and ever as many erringly suppose. Rather, Lucifer’s office as The Dragon, Satan, The Devil will be the subject of eternal scorn along with the two Beasts representing Lucifer’s antichrist world system. In other words, the fire & brimstone represent God’s eternal judgment and wrath on the sin and selfishness of Satan’s antichrist world-system.

As far as Lucifer’s destiny, the above verse clearly says…“never shalt thou be any more.”

“Slay them not (this antichrist world), lest My people forget…let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.”

And so, don’t be surprised if you see the political party which aligns itself with this 6th-Head/Left-Horn continue to be re-elected.

Because, this beast-power will continue to enjoy supremacy until the day arrives when its supporters finally cry, “Uncle! We’ve had enough!”

COULD THERE BE A GREATER SIGN?”

In the opening verse, “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.” Revelation 15:1, is a direct reference to the Signs In Heaven, which God is just now graciously revealing.

.

Notice that this above verse says… “And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous“.

.

If ever there was a great and marvelous sign in Heaven, this 7 Star Constellation seems to be just that! And it is the easiest of all constellations to locate (excepting for those in the southernmost latitudes of the Earth who cannot see it). It seems to stand alone in the northern sky, outshining any other constellation in the night heavens!

.

As for its significance, it is easy to see the message for which it was created to bring. It looks like a bowl. A giant bowl! And in the winter, it begins to slowly tip through the night, as if it is finally spilling out its contents upon the earth, as stated in Revelation… “And the first (angel) went, and poured out his vial upon the earth” Revelation 16:2.

And so it is not hard to see the message which this constellation presents. In the summer it begins to slowly tip. But in winter it does fully appear to pour out its contents upon the Earth.

There is a church doctrine which has steadily increased in popularity, since the day that Cyrus I. Scofield first published his very own study-bible, The Scofield Reference Bible. Scofield even audaciously changed some of the King James Version language in his study-bible to suit his own fancy!

Of course, to put one’s own fallible opinions along-side God’s infallible “Words of Eternal Life”, is the height of foolish arrogance!

There are many thoughts, words, and deeds which each and every one of us will probably hang our heads in shame for, when standing on that Great and Notable Day!

But tragically, Scofield just might have to answer, on that same Day, for his hellish influence on many of today’s theologians, those who have likewise followed in his misguided footsteps: emboldened by Scofield’s heresy, presumptuously and foolishly publishing their very own fallible and oft-misleading study-bibles!

And as a result, countless unlearned churchgoers have been led astray, “unto their own destruction”, by naively and unquestioningly accepting various false doctrines, quite often espoused by Scofield and those other erring authors of similar study-bibles!

(Bible students should never use any Bible with personal commentaries by fallible men, since some personal comments are probably in error. Rather, find a Bible with only inserted references to similar verses.)

“…they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction”

2nd Peter 3:16

The historical records give Cyrus I. Scofield credit for popularizing this false doctrine of the “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, first invented by another 19th-century false Bible teacher, one John Darby of The Plymouth Brethren denomination.

.

What Scofield and Darby did, was to presumptuously take the two words from 1st Thessalonian 4:17, the words, “caught up”, and their Greek counterpart, “harpazo”, and further changed “harpazo” into its Latin counterpart, “ripere”, (taken from an obscure Catholic Latin Bible), which is the Latin root for another English word, “rapture”, which, originally, was most commonly defined as being “in a state of euphoria”. Then, they morphed “caught up”, a verb into a proper name, “The Rapture”.

.

Thus, by such heretical wrestling with Scripture, Scofield/Darby then began to promote the idea that Christ would “rapture” His Church out of the world, just prior to the prophecies of Revelation being fulfilled.

“So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation”

Hebrews 9:28

And so, by such twisting of Scripture, Scofield/Darby now invented TWO second “Coming(s) of the Lord”, instead of the Biblical pronouncement of only one! And thus was coined the name, “The Pretribulation Rapture”, and the second return, using the God-given name for the event, “The Coming of the Lord” on “the last day”.

.

Consequently, the Christian world was now being taught that there were, not one, but TWO separate returns of Christ! And if you missed out on the Christ’s first return, you now would have a second chance!

.

And today’s main point is to highlight and emphasize John 6, in which Jesus speaks four times of His Return on “the last day”!

PRE-TRIBULATION RAPTURE?

.

First, let it be established, that while there is no dispute that the Church will indeed be, “caught up together to meet the Lord in the air”, there currently is a heated debate regarding just when “Christ…shall appear the second time without sin unto salvation”. (1st Thessalonians 4:17 & Hebrews 9:28)

.

Now, the Bible never speaks of a third coming of Christ, as Pre-Tribulation rapturists suppose.

.

And so, just when does the Bible actually say that Christians will be, “caught up together to meet the Lord, in the air”?

.

JOHN, CHAPTER 6

Let’s merely allow the Bible to speak for itself. As a matter of fact, let’s take just one chapter of the Bible which speaks of the resurrection of Believers, four different times.

.

You see, in John, Chapter 6, Jesus made this very revealing statement… “And this is the Father’s will which hath sent Me, that of all which he hath given Me I should lose nothing, BUT SHOULD RAISE IT UP AT THE LAST DAY.” John 6:39.

.

Now, here we see that God’s people will be raised up on “the Last Day”.

.

So why do rapture-theorists insist that the resurrection of Believers will take place prior to the Tribulation?

.

2ND VERSE FROM JOHN 6

.

Here is another verse from the same chapter… “And this is the will of him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.” John 6:40

.

Here again, this verse encompasses every human who ever believed on Jesus throughout time.

.

They will all be raised up on the Last Day. Each and every saved soul throughout time, if this verse is correct (which it, indeed is, correct!)

Now listen to the third verse from John 6… “No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY.” John 6:44

Now listen to the last verse from John 6 concerning the Last Day… “Whoso eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the LAST DAY.” John 6:54

So just why did Jesus repeat this “Last Day” truth four different times in just one little section of the Bible?

.

Well, one thing is for sure! This chapter makes a clear-cut case for the Resurrection happening on the Last Day, and not 7 years prior, as Pre-Tribulation Rapture advocates insist!

.

And REALLY, if Christ was going to raise all sleeping saints prior to the Great Tribulation, don’t you think He would have mentioned it, or made it abundantly clear?

CHURCH FAST ASLEEP!

The reason that it matters is because this whole notion that Christians do not have to go through this horrific event, known as the Tribulation of the last days, puts many, or perhaps most churchgoers to sleep, spiritually speaking!

After all, why should we worry about putting on our spiritual armor, if we get to miss the entire battle?

SAD STATISTICS

Now please don’t scoff at this idea!

Statistics by the most notable pollsters show that drunkenness, pornography, divorce/re-marriage, Bible-illiteracy, materialism, TV watching, etc., are at an alarming all-time high in today’s Christendom!

And so obviously, the Christian community is not being watchful, as the Bible warns us to be…

“Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved,

what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God,

wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved,

and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”

2nd Peter 3:11, 12

The fact is, assuming the pollsters’ statistics are accurate, even if there was this so-called Pre-Tribulation Rapture, very few churchgoers would be “caught up”!

We simply are just not ready!

And so, if you dear soul have been listening to those who are lulling the Church into a false sense of security by teaching such heretical doctrines as the so-called “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”, you really need to shut them off and start studying the Bible for your own self!

Take for instance the second face: the wolf, or perhaps a fox, or a dog.

A WORLD OF INEQUALITIES!

In this very proud world, there are many things which cause us to judge and scorn. And there are many people who just seem to be magnets for others to judge and scorn them.

And because we all innately possess pride in our hearts, looking down upon, and judging others, comes to us about as natural as breathing!

Quite often, we’re not even aware that we’re doing it!

or in a cult,

This entire world is full of inequities. And people tend to judge just about anything and anyone whom they see as being less than themselves in some way!

But listen to what Peter had to say about God…“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons…” Acts 10:34

.

God values the soul of the poor drunken beggar just as much as the soul of the wealthy entrepreneur. He values the soul of the high-stepping politician just as much as He does the starving multitudes in third-world nations.

He bled and died to save even that poor, miserable wretch bent over from a life of drug abuse!

The Good News is, that this is still the Day of Salvation!

And God is giving us just enough time to repent of this horrible crime against Heaven.

And God will sit as a purifier of our hearts, and remove all Pharisean pride, if we will just cry out to Him for mercy.

But just one tidbit of advice which will be a benefit for each of us: whenever we catch ourselves judging another individual, for Heaven’s sake, simply begin praying for God’s blessing on that dear soul, for whom Christ also bled & died!

“THE SCORNER (THE PHARISEE)”

“For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, AN EVIL EYE, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.” Mark 7:18-23

Please tilt your head to the left. Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose. (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look? His right eyebrow is raised as if he is judging.

.

This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox. Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox? Maybe even a dog. Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn. Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad shock and awe; this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn. As if he is disgusted at the sinful planet below.

So, in this little series, the subject of those noble Bereans has been introduced. And today, it is still worthy of a little more exploration into another area of concern.

AN OPEN-MINDED SPIRIT IN BEREA

Okay, so those in Berea were more noble, because they:

1. “Received the Word with all readiness of mind.”

.

2. “And searched the Scriptures daily, whether those things were so.”

.

And so, the Bereans were ready to receive new teachings, which no doubt, conflicted with the supposed, “orthodox” teachings of that day.

.

Thus there was an open-mindedness which permeated their hearts, and a willingness to search the Scriptures daily, in hopes that these seemingly new teachings were indeed true!

THESE SIGNS ARE MENTIONED

From time to time, the Book of Revelation mentions stars. But when we get to Revelation Chapter 12, it speaks of two “great signs in heaven”. First, it speaks of the sign in heaven of a woman with child. Then it speaks of the sign in heaven of a great red dragon, with a tail that sweeps one-third of the stars and casts these stars down to the earth. So we get the sense that this phenomenon that the Apostle John was seeing, was closely intertwined with the starry host of the heavens. And these two signs in heaven, a woman, and a dragon, are a big part of this website, Signs Of Heaven.

And thus, this phenomenon that the Apostle John was seeing, was closely intertwined with the starry host of the heavens.

PART 2

“Who is the World’s Strongest Human?”

“f thou faint in the day of adversity,

thy strength is small.”

Proverbs 24:10

Just who is the strongest person in the world? Well, in times past, many would give such a title to Samson. His physical strength was superhuman!

.

But does Samson qualify as the strongest human to ever live?

.

Some might even say Goliath. Definitely a strong man!

.

In this decadent society, we are greatly saddened to see the populace growing increasingly weaker in moral, spiritual, and even in physical strength! Yes, this decadent, opulent society has provided so many labor-saving inventions, which has caused many younger folks to become somewhat helpless in many respects. So much so, they often tagged as “snowflakes”! We’re so used to having everything handed to us, pre-made, pre-packaged that we have greatly become a society of moral/physical/spiritual weaklings! “Where does milk come from, little Johnny? From the grocery store, of course!”

.

But back to our initial question. So, just who might we consider to be the strongest human in the world?

.

Well, actually, God only knows for sure, since there are 6 or 7 billion people living to choose from!

.

But there are two individuals living at the time of this article, who just might be worthy candidates for this title.

.

And yet, both of these persons couldn’t last 1-second in an arm-wrestling match! But both of them have super-human strength!

.

The fact is, both of them are without use of both arms and legs. As a matter of fact, one of them has no arms and only one leg!

.

In spite of their lack of physical strength, both of them are perhaps two of the strongest people on earth. One of them lost her use of both arms and legs in a catastrophic accident when she was just a teenager. The other was born without arms and just one partial leg. Both of them are much older now.

.

And yet, God has raised up these two to become paragons of super-human strength, morally, and spiritually.

.

Unlike Samson, who was strong physically, but lacked moral/spiritual strength, these two Christians have overcome their tremendous handicaps. And God has purposely raised them up to be role-models and inspirations for all Christians who likewise suffer numerous problems, setbacks, handicaps, disadvantages. Listening to these two faith-filled Christian evangelists greatly encourages us to go forward on our sojourn through this cold, dark and sad world!

.

Whatever they may lack in physical strength, God has blessed them spiritually in faith, love, empathy-for-others, and courage!

.

Oh yes, God, has, no doubt, raised up many other “Spiritual Samsons”, who may be unsung heroes to this world. But just like these two modern-day Samsons, are likewise inspirations and witnesses of God’s faith, love, forgiveness, and spiritual strength to those around them: in their own homes, neighborhoods, and/or in their communities!

.

And let’s face it, we live in a world where many people may exhibit physical strength, stamina, talents, and courage. But just like the Apostle, Peter, these same strong ones might willingly take sword-in-hand, risk their own life, labor tirelessly! And yet, separated from God’s Holy Spirit, would cower under the slightest adversity as did Peter when confronted by a young girl…“a damsel came unto him (Peter), saying, you also were with Jesus of Galilee. But he denied before them all, saying…I do not know the man (Jesus)!” Matthew 26:69, 70.

.

Yes, this world is full of spiritual weaklings…faithless cowards…unable to control their own spirit in the face of the slightest temptation or spiritual trial. Plagued by unwholesome thoughts, slaves of appetite and divers lusts, they are like walls broken down.

.

Oh yes, that very strong man, Lucifer, now given title, “Satan” can give the world a seemingly endless strength and ability to perform many earthly tasks. But the Devil can never give a mortal soul true spiritual strength, true godly courage, true self-control. Only God can!

.

The very Good News is that today is still the day of Salvation! And though we may be weak in the eyes of the world, we can become spiritual Samsons in the eyes of God and His Holy Angels!

THE HOLY-GHOST-RIDER CONSTELLATION

“Did you give…wings and feathers unto the ostrich?….What time she lifts up herself on high, she scorns the horse and his rider.” Job 39:17, 18

Here in the above condensed passage is revealed a tremendous Bible prophecy! Here the ostrich (being a symbol of the Church-Apostate) is going to lift up herself and scorn the horse and his rider.

.

Well, if we look in the winter-night skies, we might possibly have our eyes opened to see a most incredible constellation group, known as the “Horse and His Rider” Constellation Group.

And so, this above passage speaks of the time of the end (which we are just now in). And sad to say, there will be many in the Church who will scorn this last message, just as the wisdom-deprived ostrich scorns the Horse and His Rider, who symbolize God’s Church in battle, being ridden by the Spirit of Christ! Such a sad ending for the Church-Apostate, to scorn the Holy Spirit: the same Spirit that they so often exulted in praise, with their lips!

This constellation group is made up of a number of smaller constellations: the horse’s head, made from the Perseus Constellation. The tail and rear end is partly of the Cassiopeia Constellation. The hind-leg is made partly of stars from the Andromeda Constellation. The Rider is made primarily from the Camelopardalis Constellation.

The daily news reports just seem to be getting worse and worse and worse!!!

It seems like the entire world is coming unraveled!

*Completely out-of-control thievery at an all-time high! Inflation too!

*The younger generation being indoctrinated into insane and hateful ideologies!

*Racial hatred and division being stoked by the lying Helter-Skelter media!

*Governments engaging in suicidal spending!

*The Internet becoming a modern-day “Big Brother”, mind-controlling the world!

*The major news-media becoming more and more dishonest and increasingly untrustworthy!

*Children being confused about basic biology!

*The western nations becoming weaker while overtly-evil nations grow stronger.

*A total collapse of national borders, allowing unknown millions to pour over!

The state of the world is getting so unbelievably horrible, that many are no doubt becoming hopelessly sad and confounded! It just doesn’t seem like things will ever get better!

ARE WE REALLY “JUST A -PASSIN’ THROUGH”?

Remember that old song…

“This world is not my home,

I’m just a-passin’ through.

My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.

The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door.

And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore”?

This song first appeared in print in 1919 and has been sung by many Gospel musicians.

Well, most faithful church attendees would probably wholeheartedly affirm this song’s faithful sentiment: “We’re just a-passin’ through!”.
