There is a biblical concept which is so important, that none living in these last days should be ignorant of…

.

…it is the concept of being a watchman…those soldiers who stood watch upon the city walls, for an approaching enemy.

.

“I (Jesus) say unto all, Watch!”

.

Listen…“Watch ye therefore:

for ye know not when the Master of the house cometh,

at even, or at midnight,

or at the cockcrowing,

or in the morning:

Lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch!”

Mark 13:35-37

.

But Jesus likewise warns each and every one of us to be watchful for His approach too! Not to be asleep when He comes!

“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication”

Revelation 18:3

.

Now this is not saying that the Christian shouldn’t get a good night’s sleep.

.

No, but this is saying, instead, that we are not to get so absorbed in the busy-ness of everyday life that we forget that we are in the midst of a battle for our souls…

.

Listen…“And take heed to yourselves,

lest at any time your hearts be overcharged

with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,

and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them

that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”

Luke 21:34, 35

.

So, here are the very words of Jesus as He warns us against getting caught up in the cares and pleasures of life!

GETTING TOO BUSY!

.

And Solomon also warns…“For a dream cometh through the multitude of busyness…” Ecclesiastes 5:3

.

These two verses are saying the same thing.

.

The prideful ambitions and the pleasurable dream may come upon us “unawares”, when we get too busy with the affairs of this life! (read Luke 21:34-36).

.

Now just how do we keep from allowing Satan such a liberty as to make this fallen, sin-laden world seem okay to us?

SIGNS OF HEAVEN’S WARNINGS

Well, the last two years of devotionals have been dedicated to doing just that!

.

These devotionals have given continual warnings against mingling too much with the world!

And still, it is so easy to nestle back down and go to sleep (spiritually speaking).

LOVING THIS WORLD IS SO EASY!

But truth-be-told, this world should look strange to us!

We need to see these things of the world for what they really are:

…merely the self-centered inventions and creations of Satan,

which all together, comprise his kingdom of selfishness.

**Yes, Satan is called, “the god of this world” 2nd Corinthians 4:4.**

We just cannot let this truth slip from our minds.

And so, just how do we accomplish this?

How do we keep from allowing the world to, “move itself a-right?”

Yes, how are we to keep from allowing the world to come and sweep us away like a giant tidal wave?

Well, the simple answer is, we must stop drinking Babylon’s Wine!

We must sober up!

Yes, just as a little wine relaxes a person’s sensibilities, so too, the wine of Babylon (the world) relaxes our vigilance as watchmen on the walls of Zion!

Yes, a little TV, a little sports, a little comedy, a little social get-together, etc., etc., and before we know it, we’re now making plans to fulfill our little everyday dreams!

GOOD NEWS…BUT…

.

The Good News is, that God is very willing to help us to remain watchful.

.

But we must stay away, as far as possible, from worldly associations which we know are harmful.

.

Oh yes, there will be family obligations.

.

Oh yes, there are employment necessities.

.

And we must do our necessary shopping and have many other similar contacts with the world.

.

But we must not voluntarily drink Babylon’s wine!

.

And even our necessary daily contact with the world, should be under the protective fortification of ceaseless prayer, and day & night contemplation of the Bible!

.

Yes, O Stranger and Pilgrim!

.

Yes, O Soldier of the Cross!

.

Yes, O Watchman on the Walls of Zion!

.

We must remain vigilant, especially in this hour of trial which is now coming upon the earth to try the hearts of professing Christians!

Now our signature verse today is from the Book of Nehemiah, in which God’s faithful remnant had returned from Babylonian captivity, to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

Here we see that the enemies of God’s people were already trying to thwart this effort to fortify God’s City!

And though the worldly-minded cannot understand such peace and joy, those who are keeping their minds fixed on Jesus through their day, have the “peace that surpasses all understanding”!

among the nations whither they shall be carried captives,

because I am broken with their whorish heart,

ORION, THE GOOD SHEPHERD

This star-chart from Wikipedia, has Orion sketched in by the editor of this website.

With the addition of a single star, Theta Geminorum (the left hand of the Castor twin of Gemini), the sickle in Orion, the Reaper’s hand now extends the blade, thus transforming that sickle into the hook of a shepherd’s rod and staff.

And so now this little Gemini star becomes the tip of Orion’s Shepherd’s rod & staff. .

Who Are The 144,000?

.

**In Part 2 (click here to read), the focus was on the heretical church-doctrine which mostly demands a literal interpretation of so many bible passages and stories.**

.

And also discussed was how this non-biblical hermeneutic has closed off a great portion of the Bible to the church-world.

.

And so, having said all this, let’s return to those 144,000 who stand with the Lamb on Mount Sion. Just who are they?

.

Listen…“These are they which were not defiled with women;

for they are virgins.

These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth.

These were redeemed from among men,

being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

And in their mouth was found no guile:

for they are without fault before the throne of God.”

Revelation 14:4, 5

Now here above is a description of these 144,000.

.

And this above passage is no different than the description of God’s Elect and Chosen ones throughout history!

THE REQUIREMENTS OF ANY CHRISTIAN

.

**For instance, being “not defiled with women”, means to “not be doctrinally compromised by apostate churches”.**

.

**To be “virgin”, spiritually, speaks of being a part of Christ’s bride, that is, being part of the “five wise virgins”, spoken of in Matthew 25.**

.

**To be “following the Lamb wherever He goes”, is what we are all commanded by God to do.**

.

**Being of, “the first-fruits unto God”, is also spoken of in James 1:18.**

.

**Having “no guile in their mouth” speaks of being filled with God’s Word, to the point that our conversation is without corrupt or dishonest speech.**

.

Therefore, this Elect group of 144,000 can easily be speaking of Christ’s faithful followers at any time in history!

A SPECIAL END-TIME GROUP?

But will there be some special group at the end of time, that will fulfill this elect group?

.

Oh yes!

.

But anyone who is truly saved will most likely be numbered with this 144,000.

.

In other words, we don’t need to assume that this is a literal number.

.

No, this number has spiritual implications, just like the rest of the Bible.

.

**The number, 144,000, is composed of 12-times-12-times-1,000 = 144,000.**

And it probably has to do with the twelve tribes of spiritual Israel throughout time.

SO WHO ARE THE 144,000?

And so, just who are the 144,000?

.

They are those who follow the Lamb up the heavenward pathway.

They are those who love the Bible more than their physical food!

.

They are those whose great desire is that Christ may shine brightly out from within and give light to those who dwell in darkness and in the shadow of death!

.

They are those who patiently allow God to purify them, day-by-day, through manifold trials, both little and big!

.

These, truly are “the redeemed”, which are…“out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;” Revelation 5:9

But if the Reader will go out in August and well into November, this wonderful constellation can be seen in the Northeast night-sky.

But don’t wait too long! Because once it enters the western sky, it flips upside down and can no longer be seen as a mountain.

**Now, this constellation is the very same constellation as the Mount of Blessing Constellation in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group.**

Who Are The 144,000?

.

Part 1

“The sinners in Zion are afraid;

fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.

Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?

who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?

He that walketh righteously, and speaketh uprightly;

he that despiseth the gain of oppressions,

that shaketh his hands from holding of bribes,

that stoppeth his ears from hearing of blood,

and shutteth his eyes from seeing evil;

He shall dwell on high:

his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:

bread shall be given him;

his waters shall be sure.

Thine eyes shall see the King in His beauty:

they shall behold the land that is very far off.”

This above passage foretells of a day in which the lukewarm church will be rudely awakened, only to realize that the Day of the Lord has arrived…

Thus are the frightful words spoken by Isaiah…

…”The sinners in Zion are afraid;

fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites!”

HYPOCRITES WE!

.

Now just who are the hypocrites, spoken of here?

.

Well, here is just one verse in which Jesus said to His very own professed people…

…”Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you,

saying, ‘This people draweth nigh unto Me with their mouth,

and honoureth Me with their lips;

but their heart is far from Me.'”

Matthew 15:7, 8

.

Yes, this above passage speaks of those in the church-world who claim to be “Rapture-Ready” Christians…

.

…and yet our lives DO NOT show that we, “follow the Lamb, whithersoever He goeth” Revelation 14:4

.

FOLLOWING THE LAMB

.

**Now this above verse from Revelation 14:4 (“these…follow the Lamb, whithersoever He goeth”) speaks of God’s faithful followers, who follow Jesus the Lamb wherever He leads.**

STANDING ON MOUNT SION (ZION)

And speaking of Revelation 14, that very same chapter speaks of a group who stands with the Lamb on top of Mount Zion…

Listen to Revelation 14:1…

…”And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion,

and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand,

having His Father’s name written in their foreheads.”

ISAIAH 33 & REVELATION 14…

BOTH MOUNTAINTOP EXPERIENCES

Now it’s curious that Isaiah 33 and Revelation 14 both speak of God’s people dwelling on a mountain…

Listen again to Isaiah 33:16…

…”He shall dwell on high:

his place of defence shall be the munitions of rocks:

bread shall be given him;

his waters shall be sure.”

So this above verse doesn’t explicitly mention Mount Zion.

.

But since this is speaking of the Day of the Lord, then it might very well also be speaking of the top of Zion.

LITERAL OR SPIRITUAL ZION?

But is it speaking of literal Mount Zion?

**Listen…*“But ye are come unto mount Sion,***

and unto the city of the living God,

the heavenly Jerusalem…”

Hebrews 12:22, 23

**So here we see that Mount Zion is the “heavenly Jerusalem” and is a spiritual concept.**

And this is why the ones spoken of in Isaiah can, “…see the King in His beauty: they shall behold the land that is very far off.” Isaiah 33:14-17.

Yes, and those who become citizens of heavenly Jerusalem no doubt have spiritual eyes to see that Land that is very far off!

SO-CALLED “LITERALISTS”

You see, it is very sad that the greater portion of Christendom have locked themselves out of much of the Old Testament…

…locked out because of an unbiblical false doctrine, named by theologians as, “The Historical-Grammatical Method of Interpretation”

This false and unbiblical doctrine demands that Scripture must be interpreted literally, unless context demands a spiritual interpretation.

But the problem with this idea is that it has no biblical support!

BIBLE CLOSED OFF

One of the great problems with this false hermeneutic is that large portions of the Bible have been closed up to the adherents of this bad hermeneutic!

But the Bible is a spiritual book.

And though there are many openly spiritual statements in the Bible, there are many earthly historical accounts and many symbolic statements in the Bible…

BIBLE, A SPIRITUAL BOOK

Of Jesus it is written…

…”I will open My mouth in a parable:

I will utter dark sayings of old…”

Therefore, when we read of Samson, or of Job, or many other literal accounts, we must understand that those true historical events were orchestrated by God…

…orchestrated to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ, howbeit, veiled in types, symbols, and prophetic utterances.

OVERTLY SPIRITUAL STATEMENTS

Oh yes, as already stated, many biblical statements are already overtly spiritual, and are not symbolic, such as this well-known verse…

“For God so loved the world

that He gave His only begotten Son…”

John 3:16.

We don’t see anything symbolic here, do we? It is an openly spiritual statement.

HEAVENLY JERUSALEM

But when we read the Old Testament prophets, much of their writings seem obsolete, because they are speaking of God’s people living in Old Testaments times.

But if we will follow proper Bible hermeneutics, we discover that Paul refers many times to the Church as “The Commonwealth of Israel”, or, “Jews”, or as, “The Israel of God”, or, “Jerusalem above”.

(For these three biblical names, see Ephesians 2:12, Galatians 6:16, & Galatians 4:26)

And so, by accepting these statements from Paul’s writings, we now see the spiritual meaning of those Old Testament prophecies, and how they spiritually apply to us.

REPLACEMENT THEOLOGY

Of course, Satan would like the Church to remain in ignorance as to our true spiritual condition.

And so, he has invented another false and unbiblical doctrine commonly referred to as, “Replacement Theology”.

**And here again, this name, “Replacement Theology”, is found nowhere in Scripture, nor is this idea supported or confirmed anywhere in Scripture!**

.

It is the false notion that anyone who takes Paul’s writings concerning New Testament Christians, both Jews and Gentiles now being, “The Commonwealth of Israel”, is guilty of adhering to, “Replacement Theology”, and is considered a heretic.

Of course, this is sheer unbiblical nonsense.

In other words, to ignore all the many Bible passages which establish that New Testament Believers, both Jew and Gentile are now the true Jews, is to reject God’s Word.

DISPENSATIONALISTS

**Now, there are many who call themselves, “Dispensationalists”, who believe that the last 19 chapters of the Book of Revelation deal only with literal Israel.**

The Church has been Raptured into Heaven, according to them.

Of course, they have to make excuses for Revelation 22:16, which clearly states… “I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things IN THE CHURCHES.”

Yes, this verse indeed indicates that the things of the Book of Revelation do indeed concern events “in the churches”!

The Psalms’ Power Over Evil Spirits

“And it came to pass,

when the evil spirit from God was upon Saul,

that David took an harp,

and played with his hand:

so Saul was refreshed, and was well,

and the evil spirit departed from him.”

We live in a world today, in which there are so many different sounds and noises.

.

And those living in the big cities must live and work and play amidst all the din and clamor which pervades the smokey urban air.

.

Yes, we live in a world of troubles and sorrows.

.

And for those of us who have been let in on the big secret of the Gospel, we understand that Satan and his vast armies of unseen spirit beings are working invisibly behind the scenes, carrying on their 24/7/365 warfare against the human race, and against God’s people!

MENTAL ILLNESS or EVIL SPIRITS?

But here in 1st Samuel, Chapter 16, is the true account of King Saul, in a very revealing situation in which Saul is being troubled by evil spirits.

.

Oh yes, this atheistic world would claim that Saul is merely suffering from, perhaps, a bi-polar condition.

.

In other words, Saul was merely going in and out of “mental depression” (they might claim). And his personality would swing from, “nice and congenial”, at one moment, to sudden bursts of, “violence and anger”, at another moment!

And so, King Saul had a classic case of bi-polar disorder…well…according to the world, that is.

SPIRITS, NOT MENTAL ILLNESS

But surprise, surprise! When David was first brought in to sing Psalms before King Saul, the evil spirit would leave Saul, delivering him from His so-called mental illness…

and the evil spirit departed from him.”

And so, this above verse reveals that it was an evil spirit, and NOT so-called, “bi-polar disorder” that overtook Saul at times!

**Now listen to the Apostle, Paul, as he reveals that “perfect peace” is possible to the Christian…**

which passeth all understanding,

shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

SOME GOOD MEDICINE

Now, as already stated, there are many people today who are suffering from depression and anxiety and fearfulness, etc….

Perhaps what these people need is some of that same prescription of medicine which David gave to Saul.

Maybe, just maybe, a good dose of the Psalms is exactly what the Doctor ordered! Doctor Jesus, that is!

Yes, we must do everything to make our connection strong and sure, with the Spirit of Holiness!

So why not go all the way, and completely surround one’s own self with a heavenly atmosphere of celestial choirs too?

And by turning off the secular media, and turning on the Bible, one can turn his or her little corner of the world, into a little corner of Heaven!

And combined with on-going prayers to God, one can create an environment conducive to the Holy Spirit’s presence.

DRIVING AWAY THE SPIRIT of FEAR

Listen…“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 1st Timothy 1:7

Here we see that the presence of God’s Spirit, can and will, drive away those fearful spirits, and replace them with the Spirit, “of power, and of love, and of a sound mind”!

And listen to this next promise from Isaiah 26:3…“Thou (God) wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.

Here above, God promises us perfect peace!

No mental illness!

Just perfect peace!

There are just some people who seem to get away with mistreating and abusing their body.

.

And then, there’s the rest of us!

OUR JUDGMENT NOT SLUMBERING!

Oh yes, when we were young, we thought we were exempt from repercussions from our “youthful indiscretions”.

.

**But then, in our 40’s, 50’s, or 60’s, we realized that “pay-day” does indeed eventually come around!**

.

**And sooner or later, the proverbial, “Fiddler”, arrives to collect the wages due him!**

.

MANY ACHES, PAINS, ETC…

And so, what are we to do, now that our body is beginning to torment us?

Oh you know, the moments when some sharp pain stabs us in the foot or in the side, etc., and feels like somebody just stuck us with a knife.

Or when our elimination becomes painful.

Or our arthritis, or our gout, or our hearing, or our vision, or our headaches, or one of the other countless aches and pains or disabling conditions makes life not so bearable!

What are we to do?

GOD STILL IN THE HEAVENS

The wonderful Good News is that God is still in Heaven and knows everything that we are going through.

.

And He will not allow more than we can endure, although at times our pain and suffering may be intense.

HEALTHY PEOPLE NEED NO PHYSICIAN!

For one thing, God knows that if He took away all the evil results of sin, then nobody would come to Him for help…

Listen to Jesus… “But…Jesus…said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.” Matthew 9:12

.

**So here we see that God allows sin and suffering to remain in this dark world, to cause us rebels-against-Heaven to soften our hearts and return unto God, pleading for help.**

BUT I’M ALREADY A CHRISTIAN!?

But what about those of us who already have come to Him? What about all our suffering?

Well, listen to Paul…

…”For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time

are not worthy to be compared with the glory

which shall be revealed in us.”

Romans 8:18

.

So here we see that God is saying that our present sufferings are nothing in comparison to the glory which shall be revealed in us!

BUT WHAT GOOD IS SUFFERING?

But still, this doesn’t quite answer the question of just why God is allowing us to suffer!

.

But listen to this next passage from Paul’s letter to the Philippians…

“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection,

and the fellowship of His sufferings,

being made conformable unto His death;

If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.”

Philippians 3:10, 11

.

So now it becomes evident in Paul’s letter to the Philippians, that our fellowship in the sufferings which Christ endured, will cause us to die a deeper death-to-self, and to attain His likeness and resurrected life!

WEAKNESS BRINGS STRENGTH!?!

But here is another statement by Paul which shows the great measure of God’s Spirit given to Paul…

WOW! What a statement! And what an attitude! This above passage is worthy of much contemplation and memorization!

And by this incredible statement from Paul, we are getting a much broader picture of how God works through the sufferings of this present life!

He actually works within our sufferings to bring about the transformation of our lives, conforming us into the image and likeness of Christ! How incredibly wonderful!

THE GOOD NEWS!

But the Good News is, that time travels faster and faster as we grow older. Yes, time travels like a speeding train!

Especially when we grow older, time seems to speed up like a train racing down the tracks!

And whether we sleep, or whether we awake, time never stops, day, nor night!

It never stops, that is, until it reaches, “the station”, so to speak!

Part 2:

“The Seven Women of Isaiah 4″

“And in that day seven women

shall take hold of one man, saying,

We will eat our own bread,

and wear our own apparel:

only let us be called by Thy name,

to take away our reproach.”

Isaiah 4:1

This above verse from Isaiah has mystified theologians in the past.

.

But God has opened our eyes in these last days to understand many of the allegorical statements found throughout the Bible.

.

WOMEN = CONGREGATIONS

.

**But this verse from Isaiah is a relatively easy-to-understand parable if we have already grasped the meaning of “women” in the Bible.**

.

In other words, the Jesus speaks of women as symbolizing congregations…

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins,

which took their lamps,

and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.”

Matthew 25:1, 2

.

Here above, Jesus is comparing His professed people to ten virgins, five wise, and five foolish.

.

And the allegory of women symbolizing God’s Church is quite often used throughout Scripture.

“7” THE NUMBER OF GOD’S REST

.

And so, today’s opening verse from Isaiah is, likewise, no exception! The number “7” symbolizing “Heavenly Rest” is making reference to God’s spiritual rest.

.

Therefore, these seven women are the essence of churches called to enjoy God’s heavenly, spiritual rest.

.

“THE MAN, CHRIST JESUS”

.

Now, Isaiah 4:1 reveals that these women want to take hold of one man…“And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man…”

.

Well, just what “one man” does every congregation want to take hold of? “The man, Christ Jesus”, of course! (see 1st Timothy 2:5)

.

HEAVENLY BREAD & APPAREL

.

But these seven women are willing to wear their own clothes and eat their own bread, yet still be called by Christ’s name…We will eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel…”

So, what on earth could this be speaking of?

.

**Well of course, to be a true church of Christ requires eating the “Bread of Life”, Jesus (John 6:35).**

.

And to be a genuine church of Christ requires the “garments of Salvation.” (Isaiah 61:10)

THEIR OWN BREAD AND APPAREL

But these seven women (churches) only want to eat their own bread (merely church doctrines/traditions), and wear their own earthly apparel, and yet still be called by this man’s name (Christ’s name).

PAUL FORETELLS OF TOTAL APOSTASY

.

Well listen to Paul as he foretells of total apostasy of the churches…

…”For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,

having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,

and shall be turned unto fables.”

2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

Yes, Paul here foretells of the day when the churches will no longer tolerate the true Gospel, but must be pampered with the titillating sermons about earthly prosperity,

Thus, we have world-loving churches today, who are spiritually like the silly women of 2nd Timothy 3:6, “led away with divers lusts”…

…only desiring to wear Babylonish apparel and eat their leavened bread of deceit, while drinking from the broken cisterns of the world.

But the hour has come in which God is now calling His faithful ones out of Babylon, the City of Confusion, the apostate churches…

…”And I heard another voice from heaven,

and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

Yes, there is an end-time Exodus which is now occurring.

**And yet, there is some very Good News! Yes, God is giving us some extra time, to prove to all Heaven and Earth (and to ourselves, also), that we really mean business with Him.**

Yes, God has allowed just enough time for us to really get busy and study, and pray, and contemplate the precious words of Jesus!

And if ever there was a time to fall prostrate before Him and plead for mercy and grace to become a true follower of Jesus, it is at this present fearful hour!

And those who still have an ear to hear, be they pastor, priest, or parishioner, must study things truths out, and plead for a willing heart to respond accordingly.

TODAY’S HEAVENLY SIGN

FIVE WISE VIRGINS STARS

.

This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014. It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.

.

Second, they appear to be gathered in front of The Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation. (just below Corona Borealis in this Wikipedia star-chart, in which the editor of this site sketched in these two constellations)

And as wise virgins, they understand the importance of winning the glorious crown of victory, which Jesus promised.

Listen… “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all,

but one receiveth the prize?

So run, that ye may obtain.

And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.

Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown;

but we an incorruptible.”

And so, God is showing us the difference between the wise and the foolish in His Church.

While the wise are gathered around this crown of victory, the foolish are nowhere to be found.

Babylon was given its name during the building of that infamous Tower of Babylon, because God confused their speech…

Listen… “Therefore is the name of it called Babel;

because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth:

and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad

upon the face of all the earth.”

**And so, the name, Babylon, actually means, “City of Confusion”.**

And actually, even the Apostle, Paul, likewise warned against the use of joking (jesting)…

…But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,

let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Neither filthiness, NOR FOOLISH TALK OR JESTING, which are not convenient:

but rather giving of thanks…”

Here again, the Apostle totally agrees with Thomas Brooks on this sin within the apostate churches.

(Above quote is from Matthew Henry’s comments on Paul’s statement concerning his “not using Lightness” in his ministry)

But listen again to the Apostle, Paul, as he condemns using humor…

…When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness?”

2nd Corinthians 1:17

Now the Bible condemns the use of lightness in several places, such as in Jeremiah 23:32…

“Behold, I am against them that…cause

My people to err by their lies,

and by their lightness…”

Yes, the pure and holy God condemns all use of lightness (sarcasm, mocking, frivolity, joking, and flippancy).

And Paul used none of these in his ministry, nor in his personal, everyday life!

“FLEE FROM THE WRATH TO COME!”

**What God’s people must understand, is that we are standing on the very, “ends of the world”. (1st Corinthians 10:11) Our great commission is to warn the world of God’s impending Judgment!**

And so, should we put them at ease by behaving like them, using humor, sarcasm, mockery, flippancy and frivolity?

OUR HEAVENLY ROLE-MODEL

Jesus came to save the world!

But Jesus came as a Heaven-sent Role-Model. He said… “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” John 14:6

**And we never ever see either Jesus nor Paul engaging in any, “foolish talk nor jesting”.**

And these two men are to be our heavenly role-models in all things!

FLEE TO MOUNT SION

And so, it is no wonder that God refers to today’s church-world as Mystery Babylon. It is filled with error and confusion.

And this error regarding all the joking, and mockery, and silliness, and sarcasm, and flippancy in today’s pulpits, is just one more sign of the great apostasy in the churches.

.

And God is now calling any willing soul (be it pastor, priest, or parishioner) to come out of this City of Confusion, and flee to the spiritual Mount Sion, to take their stand with all those who “follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth.” Revelation 14:4

THE FIVE FOOLISH VIRGINS STARS

A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014.

.

This constellation appears as a snake.

.

Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon.

.

It also has a small single star for an eye.

.

Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called “The Five Foolish Virgins Stars”.

These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars, from the Five Wise Virgins Stars.

But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!

Once a year, the High Priest entered into the Most Holy Place to carry out the most solemn and holy and final duties of the year-long temple rituals.

And the chosen priesthood was the most solemn of all duties, requiring complete consecration before entering!

.

This was a life-and-death matter!

.

There was to be no flippancy nor lightness in the life of that High Priest!

.

If he should go into that Most Holy Place with unconfessed sins, he was subject to possibly being struck dead before he left that holy room!

NEW TESTAMENT PRIESTHOOD: US!

The New Testament tells us…

…”But ye are a chosen generation,

a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people…“

1st Peter 2:9

**Now, because we New Testament Believers have been chosen to carry on the duties of a “royal priesthood”.**

And God expects no less from us than He required from those priests of olden times!

Now we should never feel that we are priests without a tabernacle!

The Lord reveals to us…

“…for ye are the temple of the living God;

as God hath said, I will dwell in them,

So we, His Elect, are the true tabernacle…with Him, who is our High Priest, ministering along-side of us in our soul-temple tabernacle. (See 2nd Peter 1:13, 14 for tabernacle reference)

DAILY PRAYER FOR AN AWARENESS

And it would be wise to pray each and every day that God might give us an ongoing awareness that we are a Royal Priesthood. (1st Peter 2:9)

**And so, as that Royal Priesthood, we need to make sure that we keep our heart holy and undefiled.**

UNGODLINESS IS EVERYWHERE!

Now, living, working, or going to school in this Babylonish world, it is inevitable that we are going to encounter sin.

We’re going to hear ungodly chatter and un-Christian, sensual sights & sounds at times, as we walk through the stores.

We may even be in a living situation which exposes us to ungodliness.

.

**In such situations, we patiently (and silently & prayerfully) endure.**

NO EXCUSE FOR CARELESSNESS

But because we will encounter sin in this world doesn’t mean that we should begin to take a careless attitude regarding ungodly influences.

No, listen to the Wise Man, Solomon…

for out of it are the issues of life.

Put away from thee a froward mouth,

and perverse lips put far from thee.

Let thine eyes look right on,

and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

The Bible constantly warns the Christian to be very careful about our heart!

Now this may be a very good idea. Three minute sermons.

But is it enough for a Christian to survive on?

THE ONE-DAY “SABBATH”?

.

Back in earlier times, the vast consensus in Christendom was that one day each week was to be the Sunday Sabbath-Day.

.

And on that day, Christians were to engage in spiritual activities.

.

But slowly on, the Sunday Sabbath day began to lose its sacredness.

.

**And as those years passed, the Sunday Sabbath was mostly regarded as, “The Lord’s Day”.**

BECAME A SECULARIZED DAY

And eventually, instead of spending the day in Bible study and contemplation, Christians began to spend their after-church hours shopping, watching football, enjoying social get-togethers…

…and engaging in other types of recreation or just doing everyday household chores.

THE GOD OF THIS WORLD KEEPS US BUSY

.

Well of course, it’s no accident that this society is busy, busy, busy! After all, the Bible warns…

…”And take heed to yourselves,

lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting,

and drunkenness, and cares of this life,

and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them, that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”

Luke 21:34, 35

.

Yes, seven out of seven days are now filled up with seeking the cares and pleasures, eating and drinking, buying and selling, to the point that many Christians must resort to 3-minute sermons!

THE SPIRITUALLY STARVED

.

Now those who do attempt to merely feed themselves with such a meager spiritual diet, are like trying to survive on a diet of saltine crackers!

.

In other words, it won’t be long until that churchgoer spiritually starves!

SABBATH BLESSING

.

Now, there can be a great blessing for those who decide to keep the Sabbath holy, reserving it for Bible study, and prayer.

And for those who have children and must work and take care of many duties, to reserve that one day for nothing but spiritual refreshment, might be a terrific blessing for both parents and for the children too!

.

And as we strive to make their everyday life breezy and joy-filled, they will likewise come to love God’s everlasting “rest unto your souls”! (See Matthew 11:28-30)

.

PEACE THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING

And don’t think that God will bless our one-day-per-week Sabbath if we still serve our weekday gods the other 6 days!

That’s the only way to have the “peace that surpasses all understanding“. Philippians 4:7

The Devil Made Me Do It!

.

Part 4:

“The God of This World Made Us Do It!”

“But if our gospel be hid,

it is hid to them that are lost:

In whom the god of this world

.

hath blinded the minds

.

of them which believe not,

lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ,

As this above verse reveals, Satan was long ago given the title: “The god of this World”. 2nd Corinthians 4:4

.

This great position came about when he deceived our first parents in the Garden of Eden.

A VERY HARD WORKER!

Now as we read the Bible, it becomes evident that Satan is very untiring, ambitious, hard-working!

And he wholeheartedly dedicated himself to overthrow Heaven, as well as Heaven’s Jesus!

And now that he has been permanently cast out of Heaven, he especially goes after God’s people, deceiving them and accusing them before God.

DECEIVES THE WHOLE WORLD

But Satan likewise deceives the whole entire world!

**Listen…*“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent,***

called the Devil, and Satan,

and his angels were cast out with him.”

**So, this above verse reveals Satan’s 24-hour-per-day attack on God’s people!**

SATAN HAS ERASED HIMSELF

And yet this cunning warrior is so crafty, he has seemingly erased himself out of existence!

Oh no, he’s still around! But he has turned this world into an unbelieving world, filled with false ideologies and counterfeit belief-systems.

And thus, Satan still works with relentless fervor and yet operates from behind the scenes under the cloak of darkness and secrecy.

“NOT IGNORANT OF HIS DEVICES”

Now the Bible tells us…“Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2nd Corinthians 2:11

Therefore, O Man of God, both you and I, we are not to be ignorant of Satan’s devices!

.

MAN GETS TOO MUCH CREDIT!

.

So then, knowing all these things, just why are we Christians giving Man so much credit for Man’s so-called accomplishments?

SOME QUESTIONS TO ASK OUR SELF…

And having said all that, this devotional would like to ask the next series of questions…

.

For instance, if Satan’s I.Q. is astronomical, then did mere men actually invent the atomic bomb, or did Satan, working through them?

.

And likewise, is this present-day Middle Eastern religious coup of the western societies really a man-contrived religious movement?…

…Or is it Lucifer, who long ago masterminded the coup against Heaven?

.

And is this present-day homosexual uprising the mere product of human desire?

.

Who really invents and manufactures new inventions?

.

**And who really writes the songs? Do humans? Or is it the “god of this world” who once was the master-musician of Heaven?**

.

And who really causes the great paradigm shifts around the world?

There are countless radio and television talk shows that all give full credit to mere erring humans for all the various inventions, fashions, ideologies, political events, and etc….

GOD’S IN ULTIMATE CONTROL

Fortunately, Satan has to answer to Jehovah God for everything he does!

And thankfully, we can rest confident that things haven’t got out of control…

and He (God) does according to His will in the army of Heaven,

and among the inhabitants of the Earth:

and none can stay His hand, or say unto Him, ‘What doest Thou?'”

**The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.**

Habakkuk Says ‘Run!’

The Book of Habakkuk has no doubt been the source of much intrigue and great speculation!

.

After all, it is a prophecy which concerns the last days. And it speaks of a time in the future in a mysterious manner.

A TARRYING TIME

.

When May 21, 2011, came and went, those who had been trumpeting the message concerning Planet Earth’s Last Day, became the objects of world-wide scorn and mockery.

.

And the Bible Teacher at the center of this end-time message was the primary target of all that mockery!

.

“THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT!”

.

But what those messengers did not take into account was the fact that delay of an important event is often an integral part of Scripture.

.

For instance, listen to the prophecy of Habakkuk…

“And the LORD answered me,

and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,

that he may run that readeth it.

For the vision is yet for an appointed time,

but at the end it shall speak, and not lie:

THOUGH IT TARRY, WAIT FOR IT;

because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

Habakkuk 2:3

.

Yes, Habakkuk’s vision was a message which was accompanied by a time of tarrying.

.

**God’s people were to “RUN!” when the vision spoke at the end, but that vision would tarry.**

.

And we were to wait for it!

BIBLE FILLED WITH TIMES OF TESTING!

.

Now if Habakkuk’s prophesied tarrying-time was the only tarrying time spoken of in the Bible then it would be nothing of any significance.

.

But the fact is, the Bible is literally teeming with tarrying times.

.

And these times of tarrying were times of doubt, when the faith of God’s people was stretched to the limits!

.

FOR EXAMPLE…

For instance, when the faithful followers of Jesus saw their hopes dashed to pieces upon the Cross, was not their faith tested as their Lord laid in His tomb for three days and three nights?

…Or how about when Jonah was swallowed by a great fish?

.

…Was not his faith tested for three days, as he prayed for God’s mercy and forgiveness inside the stinking belly of death of that great fish?

.

…Or when Joseph was cast into prison for two years, was not his faith severely tested?

.

…Or when Daniel was cast all that long night, into the den of hungry lions?

.

…Or when Samson had his eyes put out and chained to a millstone, for all those months?

.

…or when Job had lost everything, and was covered with festering boils from head to toe?

.

…Or when John the Baptist was cast into prison?

.

…Or how about Moses’ 40 years of waiting for his ministry to begin?

.

…Or when Samuel was late to come and offer the sacrifice for God’s people? (see 1st Samuel 13:8)

.

…Or Esther’s time of fearfulness when coming before the king over the issue of the Jews being soon destroyed?

.

…Or David’s days of crying out to God for his dying son?

.

…Or the seven days of circling around Jericho by God’s people, as they patiently waited for God to destroy its walls?

HOW ABOUT THE LORD’S RETURN?

And just one last example! How about the nearly two-thousand years that we have been waiting for Christ’s long-ago-promised and long-awaited Return?

This too is a tarrying time, is it not?

“COUNT IT ALL JOY!”

And so, we must remember the words of James…

…”My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;

Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

But let patience have her perfect work,

that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”

James 1:2-4

.

Yes, God is wanting a people who will not crumble and fail during times of pressure and delay! He’s already had one rebellion! And He doesn’t need a second one!

And so, let’s count it all joy when we go through times of delay, knowing that God is thereby increasing, not only our faith, but also our patience, as we wait upon Him.

SO, WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?

Now the great problem is that those who refuse to come out of Babylon will ultimately be, “partakers of her sins, and will receive of her plagues” Revelation 18:4

Cancer On A Nation

The Medical Community has made great strides in its quest to cure cancer. No doubt about it!

But what about a cancer which is destroying a nation? Yes, it seems as if certain western nations have been struck with cancer, even “stage 4 Cancer”!

.

That’s right, it now appears that those very nations which once lovingly and enthusiastically embraced the Great Christian Reformation are now about ready die. This is so tragic, and deeply saddening to those whose eyes are opened enough to realize what is happening.

.

Just look at those nations, and what is going down in them….”millions of non-citizens are allowed to flood over the boarders…public schools are now teaching atheism, socialism, sodomy, and other destructive ideologies and perversions…the federal government now engaging in financial suicide with printing money, borrowing from rogue nations, all in effort to support socialist-spending-programs…sexual immorality now being encouraged upon young and old alike…freedom of political/religious speech now being destroyed…Christianity being “dumbed down”, giving sway to various “prosperity gospels”, and sensual behavior…paganism now rising…courts no longer adhering to the “rule of law”…mass murder in abortion clinics…destructive and deadly “recreational” drugs now being legalized…governors and mayors allowing and even encouraging political violence in our city streets, when it agrees with their political leanings…Hypocrisy, cheating, lying, graft are fast becoming the new normal in the political arena…the unwarranted closing of businesses, resulting in mass unemployment, by our free-spending and irresponsible state and federal government leaders…racism rearing its ugly head against Christians, Jews, and various color-groups, to the magnitude never before witnessed…etc…

Now this is just a partial list of the self-destruction going on in the former Christian nations.

And it seems as if a terminal cancer is in its final stages and is about to kill these western nations.

.

Well, of course, this website has many articles which reveal that it is actually “the god of this world”, Satan who has been permitted to orchestrate this destruction, which will ultimately be the means whereby he will cause all humanity to either worship him or be killed.

It would be really wonderful if the citizenry of this fallen world would repent of our wickedness. It just might be that God may allow us a few more years of probation, like He did to that grate city-state, Nineveh, recorded in the little Book of Jonah.

But truth-be-told, this secular/atheistic world probably won’t do that! And so, we can only expect to see this world get more evil, more hateful, more violent, more immoral, more irresponsible, more selfish, more greedy, more apostate, and more loveless!

If there is any Good News here, it is that this is still the day of Redemption through Christ’s self-sacrifice to make Salvation possible! Yes, like no other time in history, it is critically necessary for any man woman and child who desires eternal life, to flee from the wrath to come…fleeing to Jesus Christ for forgiveness and renewal of life!

How Narrow is the Narrow-Gate?

The following devotion is made of excerpts from the article…“Revelation 12 Woman & The Narrow Gate Stars (Orion’s Gate to Heaven)”

“Enter ye in at the strait gate:

that leads to destruction,

and many there be which go in thereat:

**Yes, the above Bible passage, Matthew 7:13, 14, proclaims a most high and holy calling!**

This above invitation reveals that the door which leads to Heaven is much narrower than many now suppose!

There are many ministries which proudly proclaim the mantra, “The Narrow Way”.

JESUS IS THAT NARROW WAY

**Jesus told His Disciples, “I am the Way…” John 14:6.**

When His disciples began to follow Jesus, Scripture states, “and they forsook all and followed Him” Luke 5:11.

Now God is not necessarily calling for Christians to sell all their belongings.

**But when the True Worshiper receives the Spirit of Christ, at that point, he or she begins to lose interest in the amusements, and attainments, and attractions of the world.**

Yes, when we finally have our eyes fully fixed upon Christ’s face, the things of this world, and all our possessions and attainments will begin to lose their grip on us.

BUT HOW NARROW IS THE NARROW GATE?

But back to the Narrow Gate.

We still haven’t answered this question…

Just how narrow is it?

.

Simply put, the Narrow Gate is only as narrow as Jesus.

In other words, we must ultimately die-to-self.

.

Self-will just cannot squeeze through that Door.

.

Only selfless Jesus fits through that Door.

And as the Christian fully dies-to-self, he or she will be able to say with Paul…

…”I am crucified with Christ:

nevertheless I live;

yet not I,

but Christ liveth in me”

Galatians 2:20.

GOD GIVES US THE VICTORY

NARROW GATE STARS LOCATION

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter.

**Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story).**

Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon

**And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to left).**

**But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.**

**The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.**

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).

**While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.**

It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

***Why Don’t Kids Come* *With Instructions?***

A very well-known TV talk-show host made the following statement: “It’s too bad that kids don’t come with an instruction manual!”

.

But really, what she should have said was: “It’s too bad that parents don’t read the instruction manual, that comes with our kids!”

.

Yes, kids do come with an instruction manual, and as we all really know, it’s called the Bible!

.

But unfortunately, not too many people carefully read it, these days.

DID BEN FRANKLIN WRITE THE BIBLE?

.

What evidence is there that we Christians are not studying our Bibles enough?

.

**Well, for instance, a major Christian survey group found that a vast majority of churchgoers in America thought that “God helps those who help themselves”, was actually a verse from the Bible!**

.

How’s that for a startling dose of reality!?!

.

**Of course, this saying, (“God helps those who help themselves”), came from such sources as non-Christian Deist, Ben Franklin, but not the Bible!**

.

But what a telling statement this survey makes on the condition of Christendom today!

.

AGE OF PERMISSIVENESS

But instead of making the Bible our trust, we often listen to psychologists.

But it is psychologists who would have us take a rather lenient approach to raising our children…

***,,,”Oh”,* they say, *“we don’t want to damage our little ones***

by imposing too many restrictive boundaries upon them!”

.

While it’s true that Christian parents need to guard against going to fanatical extremes, the fact is, the vast majority of church-going parents who claim to love Jesus, are doing just the opposite!

.

We are throwing our kids to the wolves, by letting the world groom them (This just might be the same “vast majority” who think that “God helps those who help themselves”.)

HOME-SCHOOL?

Yes, a recent survey found that most Christian parents send their kids to public schooling!

.

But the fact is, many could easily send their kids to a Christian school, or even better yet, home-school their children.

.

Oh yes, there are many who cannot afford Christian schooling.

.

And many single parents cannot stay at home to home-school their children.

.

And yet, there are many who could make the necessary sacrifices which would allow their children to be home-schooled.

.

True, it takes a special mindset and personality to successfully home-school one’s children.

.

But quite often, in some communities, there are small, cooperative groups that share responsibilities, like this above photo indicates.

WE’RE AT WAR!!!

What psychologists just don’t consider is, that this world is a spiritual battlefield.

.

Their relaxed, liberal, laissez-faire approach to raising children is based on the idea that there is no such thing as a Devil.

.

But make no mistake! The enemy of our souls has your house surrounded by evil angels!

.

And it is a 100% guarantee, that Satan and his vast armies are not taking a laissez-faire attitude toward Christian children!

.

Yes, they are busy, busy, busy, around-the-clock, 24/7/365!

.

JOEL CRIES OUT TODAY!

But there is Good News! God has provided a way out of this terrible and frightful dilemma!

Listen to this promise from Joel, the Prophet…

“Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders…

Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep

between the porch and the altar,

and let them say, Spare Thy people, O LORD,

and give not Thine heritage to reproach,

that the heathen should rule over them…”

As this above passage reveals, God will be jealous for His land and pity His people!

And just as this above passage says, God’s people are being ruled over by the heathen (unbelievers).

Oh, that we would awake to this, our horrible condition and dire circumstances!

If only God’s people (individually) will cast away all our cherished idols, and turn to the Lord with all the heart, God is mercifully willing to return to us.

And this very day we are now living in was prophesied of, far back in the Book of Isaiah!

“In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver,

and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship,

to the moles and to the bats;

Yes, if I am really serious about my children’s Salvation, then I should be willing to make any and every necessary sacrifice on their behalf.

ROCK OF GILBRALTAR FINALLY TUMBLES

A very talented singer once sang about this famous Rock of Gibraltar.

.

Just listen…

…”In time the Rockies may crumble,

Gibraltar may tumble.

They’re only made of clay,

but our love is here to stay”.

.

These words would be very true, were it not for the words, “may tumble”.

.

Because there’s nothing “maybe” about it!

.

It’s a 100% sure thing that Gibraltar is going to tumble!

In the book Pilgrim’s Progress, John Bunyan speaks of an ancient town called Vanity Fair.

This town was an allegorical town; a symbolic picture of the attractions of this self-seeking world.

The hero of this story was named Christian.

Where Do We Go From Here?

.

“Thou art my hiding place;

Thou shalt preserve me from trouble;

Thou shalt compass me about

with songs of deliverance.

Selah.

.

A man was sitting across the table this afternoon, and said, to the effect, “Where do we go from here?”.

.

Well, this perplexed Christian was speaking in reference to the apostate condition of the churches.

.

And he was sad because he felt as if he was all alone in the world, “How can we go back into our church, knowing that it has deteriorated into a quasi-religious watered-down prosperity gospel?”

.

“FOR THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE”

Well, the Apostle, Paul, did say that the time would come when we can no longer depend on the churches.

Listen… “For the time will come

when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,

having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth…“

2nd Timothy 4:3, 4.

So here we see that Paul prophesied that the churches would come to a fully apostate condition at the time of the end.

“GO YE OUT TO MEET HIM”

So, the question which many are asking is… “Where do we go from here?”

Many are convinced that we have arrived at that day when itching-ears gospels are everywhere!

The Good News is, God has not forsaken His faithful ones!

He has given us instructions as to how we should meet this crisis.

.

And the answer is neatly tucked away in the Bible!

Listen… “And at midnight there was a cry made,

Behold, the Bridegroom cometh;

go ye out to meet Him.”

Matthew 25:6.

But how and where do we go out to meet the Bridegroom?

Now, we are NOT to literally go out.

That is, there is no physical place we are to go.

So, what is the answer to this dilemma?

Oh, so we are to go into our chambers…while the Lord punishes the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.

So these above verses are the key to understanding just where the child of God is to seek refuge during this time of trouble.

This is where we are to go, now that we have little earthly security.

And yet, our soul is in Heaven with Christ, even though our physical body is still here in this sinful world!

But in order to run into this strong tower, we are required to trust implicitly in God.

.

So how do we throw our entire life into His almighty arms?

.

Well, the Bible says, so many times, and in so many ways…

NO MORE EARTHLY SUPPORT!

Yes, O Stranger & Pilgrim, the times we are now in provide little comfort nor protection.

But God has allowed this to happen for the purpose of strengthening us and transforming us into Christ’s image.

Yes, we have arrived at a time in which the Christian must learn to wholly lean upon the mighty arms of God.

If ever there was a time to trust in churches, that has now passed.

“FLEE TO THE MOUNTAINS”

Yes, it seems as if God’s people are coming to a crisis similar to the time during the Dark Ages of Europe.

But this time around, we may not have literal mountains to provide safety for God’s people.

But God has met the crisis. He now is willing to bless us wherever we are.

Listen… “But the hour cometh,

and now is,

when the true worshippers

shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth:

for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.”

John 4:23.

When Jesus spoke these words, He knew of the apostasy of His professed people at that time.

And Jesus knew that the time would likewise come upon the churches, in which it would be fulfilled…

But we must not be afraid.

True Meaning of Mary’s Travail

.

“A SIGN…OF THE LORD…IN THE HEIGHT ABOVE”

Isaiah 7:11

.

“Ask thee a sign of the LORD…

ask it either in the depth, or in the height above…

Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son,

and shall call His name Immanuel…”

Isaiah 7:11, 14

.

Now just what sign could this be, that was either in the depth or in the height above?

.

Well, Isaiah continues… “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel.”

.

Oh, okay. So we know this sign was fulfilled in the depth, with the birth of Jesus in Bethlehem.

.

Yes, Jesus came to the very depths of sin: Planet Earth!

.

And thus was this sign fulfilled in the depths.

.

**But God also spoke of a sign in the “height above”.**

So where is the fulfillment of this sign, in the “height above”?

How can there possibly be a woman with child in the height above?

A SIGN IN HEAVEN

.

“And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven;

a woman clothed with the sun,

and the moon under her feet,

and upon (over) her head a crown of twelve stars:”

Revelation 12:1

You see, God has placed in the heavens, the symbol of His bride, the Church-Faithful.

.

**In the summer night-sky, she appears as the woman-in-travail.**

.

**This is the constellation, whom the pagans named “Ursa Major”.**

DOUBLE ENTENDRE OF REVELATION 12 WOMAN

.

So, this next verse explains the deep spiritual meaning of all these signs.

Listen…“For the husband is the head of the wife,

even as Christ is the head of the Church:

and He is the Savior of the body.”

Ephesians 5:23

.

This page concerns the constellation which is commonly known as “The Big Dipper” and the “Great Bear”.

.

It actually appears in the summer months as a woman travailing in child-birth.

.

God has purposely given her no head.

.

But God did this to present a very important concept.

.

Yes, this woman represents the Church, the, “Jerusalem above, which is free, and is the mother of us all” (see Galatians 4:26).

.

You see, the single star she is giving birth to, typifies the Christ child.

.

Reading in Ephesians that Christ is the “head” of the Church, this single star is logically going to become her head.

WOMAN FLIPS AROUND IN WINTER

.

**Thus, the Woman in Travail Constellation is a double sign, being seen in two entirely different ways!**

.

This is because as the summer passes, this constellation begins to slowly flip around, until the stars representing her arms now become her legs.

.

And the stars which once represented her legs now become her arms.

.

This now becomes the winter-version of this Revelation 12 Woman Constellation!

.

**And finally, it appears as the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12.**

.

And at that point, this single little star in her womb-area, representing the Christ-child, now becomes her head!

.

And of course, this reminds us of the passage… “And He (Christ) is the head of the body, the Church…” Colossians 1:18.

**And so, it now becomes more apparent why God has placed this headless woman-with-child in the heavens.**

She is to present that glorious concept: that God’s people are to strive with God, as God has planted the Gospel seed within His people.

And in our victory, Christ will be fully formed within the heart of each and every true Believer.

And at that time, His faithful ones will shine as the Sun, to a world still held captive in the spiritual darkness of sin and selfishness.

OVERCOMING THE WORLD

Just listen to Scripture… “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,” Galatians 4:19.

.

Okay, so now, this verse from Galatians is a big help in understanding this spiritual concept about men (and women too!) giving birth…to Christ.

.

This is all about overcoming the world.

.

And if I am truly a child of God, then eventually I will indeed overcome this world… “For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world” 1st John 5:4.

.

DESTROYED BY THE BRIGHTNESS

.

So as with all the Bible, the story of Mary giving birth to the Christ-child has a spiritual message.

.

And, like all the Bible, this story, too, is prophetic.

.

**It foretells of the time when the Church (i.e., God’s Elect) will finally throw off her love of this world, and give birth, so to speak, to Jesus Christ.**

.

And at that time, Jesus Christ will shine out brightly through His Chosen People in such a way, that the world will fall to its knees, and confess, that of a truth, Christ is real and lives through His people.

.

Then will Christ literally return on that last day!

And at that time, “As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11

A gift can come in many forms.

There are many gifts a Christian can give to the world.

Perhaps to stop and give money to someone holding a sign asking for help.

Maybe that would be the greatest gift.

Or taking a basket of food to someone who is hungry.

Or what about visiting someone who is sick or incarcerated?

Or maybe to give clothes to some overseas mission?

THE GREATEST GIFT

Well, the answer to our puzzle is simply this…

…the greatest gift a Christian can give to a needy world is a purified heart and a life transformed into the image of Christ.

Oh yes, the world has heard about Christ!

They’ve been told!

They’ve listened to a multitude of platitudes!

But what they really, really need, is to actually see Jesus!

Only Three Wise Men?

.

“…behold, there came wise men

from the east to Jerusalem,

Saying, Where is He that is born King of the Jews?

for we have seen His star in the east,

and are come to worship Him.”

Matthew 2:1, 2

Only “three” wise men?

.

Somehow, we have got the notion, that there were only three wise men from the east, who followed that star to find Jesus.

.

And this is because they brought three gifts, gold, frankincense, and myrrh, that we have come to assume that “three” is the correct number.

.

But those who are studied in historical and cultural history, say that there probably were more of these magi, which journeyed to the Holy Land, to find the long-awaited Messiah.

.

Enough so, to stir up all of Jerusalem by their presence and inquiry concerning the long-awaited Messiah!

.

**But Signs Of Heaven has calculated a vastly greater number!**

MANY WISE MEN!

You see, it is our belief that these wise men were merely a picture of all who have embarked on the upward, heavenly sojourn.

Yes, it is our contention that each and every human who has dropped his (or her) self-seeking for the things of this world…

…and has begun the search to find the long-awaited Messiah, is likewise to be numbered among those wise men of old!

MANY STILL CLING TO EARTH

Listen… “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field;

the which when a man hath found, he hides,

and for joy thereof goeth and sells all that he hath,

But the implication of this above verse is, that there are many who have been deceived into the notion that Christianity is merely some sort of complimentary addition to their life of worldly pursuits.

And so, multitudes merely make their chief desire to attend church, only to return once again to a week-long, wholehearted pursuit of worldly pleasures and earthly Mammon.

But all such will ultimately find themselves bankrupt of Heaven’s riches, when standing before the Judgment Throne on the Last Day.

Listen… “Because strait is the gate,

and few there be that find it.”

**Yes, there are very few who are truly willing to walk that Narrow Way.**

**Only the one who, “sells all that he has”, will truly find the long-awaited Messiah.**

Listen to this next verse… “And ye shall seek Me, and find Me, when ye shall search for Me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13.

Yes, as this verse so clearly reveals, it is only the one who verily pursues Jesus with a 100% devotion, who will truly find Him!

O Come Let Us Adore Him…and More!

.

“behold, there came

wise men from the east

to Jerusalem, Saying,

‘Where is He that is born King of the Jews?

for we have seen His star in the east,

and are come to worship Him.'”

Matthew 2:1, 2

.

The above passage tells of those wise men from the East, who followed that star, which ultimately led them to the Savior.

.

And of them, the following song was inspired… “O Come let us adore Him, O come let us adore Him. O come let us adore Him, Christ, the Lord!”

.

Yes, those wise men came following that star, to not only find the Savior, but also to adore this newborn King, didn’t they?

But is that all there is, my friend?

Should we simply adore Him?

Maybe erect some statues in His honor?

Pay tribute to Him several days a year?

Yes, Jesus calls us to follow Him.

But why do we follow Him?

To learn of Him.

Then, with Bible knowledge and wisdom, we see Him in our mind’s eye and follow Him in all His ways.

Paul gives the Church a gentle scolding…

…”For when for the time ye ought to be teachers,

ye have need that one teach you again

which be the first principles of the oracles of God;

Hebrews 5:11, 12.

But though this passage is written for our admonition, the fact is, not too many churchgoers take this passage seriously!

**After all, a survey shows that most churchgoers believe that “God helps those, who help themselves” is a verse from the Bible!**

Isn’t that a startling revelation!?!

And to be fair, a great amount of credit for this sad condition must be given to “the god of this world”, the enemy of our souls! (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4)

Yes, that wily old serpent, Satan, has filled this society with so many “other things”.

And to a great degree, he has successfully derailed Christians from the work of regeneration of the life…

So, this coming year, O come let us adore Him!

But let us come and follow Him too!

Yes, let us learn of Him, and take His light burden and easy yoke upon us.

Let’s begin to adjust our schedule, so that we may take time to hide Him in our heart, whether at work, or at rest or at recreation with our family.

*Keep that little Bible in our back pocket, and take it out whenever possible, to commit a verse to memory.

*Use our lunch hour more wisely.

*Load a book or epistle onto our MP3 player, instead of merely listening to music.

*Spend time studying, instead of watching TV or listening to radio.

*Pray when walking or working or lying in bed.

Today’s Devotional – December 21st

Gold, Frankincense, and More!

.

“When they saw the star,

they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.

And when they were come into the house,

they saw the young child with Mary his mother,

and fell down, and worshipped him:

and when they had opened their treasures,

they presented unto him gifts;

gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.”

Matthew 2:10, 11

.

Perhaps, the most well-known of all Bible stories, is that of the wise-men from the East, following that star to where baby Jesus lay.

.

And equally known is that they brought gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

.

Now frankincense and myrrh were sweet spices, used in the Old Testament in purification ceremonies.

.

These were symbols of purity, being a sweet savor to God.

.

Now obviously, frankincense and myrrh cannot literally make anybody spiritually pure.

.

So, what can we glean from this little Bible account?

.

Yes, gold, frankincense and myrrh must have a deeper significance.

.

SPIRITUAL GOLD, FRANKINCENSE & MYRRH

.

…”Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us,

and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God

for a sweetsmelling savour.”

Ephesians 5:1, 2

.

This above passage explains the spiritual meaning of incense: Christ’s self-sacrificing life.

.

This is the sweet smell which God loves.

.

And when the Christian purifies his or herself, transforming into Christ’s glorious image, then that Christian likewise becomes a sweet-smelling savor unto God.

.

Listen… “And every man that hath this hope in Him (meeting Jesus)

purifieth himself,

even as He is pure.”

1st John 3:3

.

Now of course, none of this is possible without the miracle-working power of God.

.

And this is where the precious gift of gold comes in.

.

**Because we are told this… “I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich;” Revelation 3:18.**

.

So obviously, Christ is not counseling us to buy literal gold.

.

Listen to Job…

“But he knoweth the way that I take:

when He (God) hath tried me,

I shall come forth as gold.”

Job 23:10.

So, Christians must purchase spiritual gold, tried in the fires of tribulations.

.

We are that gold which God so highly values.

.

And by prayer, Bible meditation, and enduring the trials which come our way…

.

**…these produce the spiritual Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh, which those wise men symbolically brought to the Lord Jesus.**

Have you seen one of those bumper-stickers which says… “WISE MEN STILL FOLLOW HIM”?

Well, maybe they’re not so popular anymore.

.

But every now and then, a car passes by with that saying.

And it’s a good saying!

ARCTURUS AND HIS SONS

There exists a lot of intrigue regarding just what star did the Magi from the East follow, which led them to the First Advent of our Savior.

The Bible speaks of Arcturus as a possibility.

.

Listen… “canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:33.

.

There’s nothing that is impossible for God!

.

Arcturus may very well have been that star.

.

FULFILLMENT OF WISE-MEN OF OLD

The fact is, Arcturus is that brilliant star (3rd brightest in our heavens) which leads these Gospel constellation groups…

…to present a picture story, a heavenly allegory of sorts.

We must keep in mind, that those wise men of old, after spending countless hours searching the Scriptures.

.

They searched diligently to see just exactly what and who those prophecies were pointing to.

.

And this quest ultimately led them on a sojourn through the deserts, hundreds of miles, to find the promised Messiah.

.

All told, those wise men no doubt spent several years on this quest to find the long-awaited Messiah…

.

…from the time they first began searching the Scriptures till the time they returned home from their quest to see the Messiah in person!

.

AM I A WISE MAN?

.

And so, am I willing to spend months praying and searching out this message, in light of God’s Word, to see if this message is the real thing?

.

In other words, are we truly the end-time fulfillment of those wise-men of old?

.

And as such, are we willing to put out the same effort that those wise men of old put out, to discover the truth?

.

And with this message, we don’t even have to travel hundreds of miles!

.

But to really understand this message, does take a great deal of effort.

.

But wise men don’t mind that!

.

After all, isn’t that the stuff that wise men are made of?

Today’s Devotional – December 19th

“And Just Who is My Neighbor?”

.

“He that hath pity upon the poor

lendeth unto the LORD;

and that which he hath given

will He pay him again”

Proverbs 19:17

.

“And Jesus answering said, A certain man…

fell among thieves, which…wounded him, and departed,

leaving him half dead….

But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed,

came where he was: and when he saw him,

he had compassion on him,

And went to him, and bound up his wounds”

Luke 10:30, 33, 34,

.

This above well-known parable has great spiritual meaning.

.

But it can also apply to everyday situations.

.

WHAT’S A 5 DOLLAR BILL?

.

“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor,

he also shall cry himself,

but shall not be heard.”

Proverbs 21:13

Now of course, the Believer should be most concerned about supporting faithful ministries which proclaim the Gospel.

.

But it wouldn’t hurt to give a little extra to those who are “down and out”.

.

Maybe just to slip them a 1$ bill or even a $5 bill.

.

Or better yet, go to the thrift shop and buy some little Gideon pocket-Bibles and put that $5 bill in one, hanging half-way out.

.

Yes, even a dollar or two would mean so much to those who have nothing!

MANY DIFFERENT WAYS

Well, there are many ways to give to others.

.

And each must decide just how and where and who to give to.

.

“LOVE THY NEIGHBOR AS THYSELF”

Romans 13:9

.

But the point of this little devotion is about a very big Bible truth.

.

And that truth is just this….

.

“Whatever the situation of life, we must try to put ourselves in the place of others.

.

How would I like to be treated if I were that homeless person?

.

Or how would I like to be treated if I were that bumbling cashier?

.

Or how would I like others to talk about me if I were the object of discussion?”

.

This is a great part of Christianity: to constantly think about how I would like to be treated by others if the “tables were turned”.

.

And you never know, it just might come to pass, that someday, I might be the one standing on the corner, begging for a few dollars.

Today’s Devotional – December 18th

.

Just Who is a Wise Man?

.

The King James Version says…

…”behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

Saying, ‘Where is He that is born King of the Jews?

for we have seen His star in the east,

and are come to worship Him.'”

Matthew 2:1, 2.

.

Now these wise men from the east were spiritual leaders.

.

But certainly they were wise men too, in the biblical sense of the word!

.

After all, while the vast majority of God’s professed people were busy, going after the cares and pleasures and pastimes of the world…

.

…these wise men from the East had left all, so as to find the One who was to save the world!

.

JUST WHO IS A WISE MAN?

.

So perhaps it would do well to take a moment to look at just what constitutes being called a “wise man”.

.

Just what does the Bible have to say about being wise?

.

Well, what better place to begin this search, than to go to the wisest mortal who ever lived…Solomon?

.

Listen to this wisest of men…

…”Yea, if thou criest after knowledge,

and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

If thou seekest her as silver,

and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD,

and find the knowledge of God.

For the LORD giveth wisdom:

out of His mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Proverbs 2:3-6.

.

So here it is! Here is the key to becoming wise!

.

To seek after the knowledge of God, as if we are seeking hidden treasure!

.

THE HALF-HEARTED NEED NOT APPLY!

.

Listen… “And ye shall seek Me,

and find Me,

when ye shall search for Me

with all your heart.”

Jeremiah 29:13

.

There are many in God’s house, who, like the Old Testament worshippers, think they can serve God and Mammon too!

.

But God dispels all such notions…

Listen… “No man can serve two masters:

for either he will hate the one, and love the other;

or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.

Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Matthew 6:24

.

As this above verse reveals, God has no interest in a divided service!

.

And only those who, like the wise men of old, are willing to leave all behind and begin their Heavenward sojourn, will ultimately find Him!

.

THE GOOD NEWS!

.

The Good News in all this is that God is very forgiving.

.

And in His great mercy, He is allowing us time to repent of our world-loving ways…

.

…and turn back to Him with all our hearts!

.

Yes, we too may become wise men!

.

Listen… “If My people,

which are called by My name,

shall humble themselves, and pray,

and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways;

then will I hear from Heaven,

and will forgive their sin,

and will heal their land.”

2nd Chronicles 7:14

.

Ans so, if we will only begin to seek Him with all our heart, God is very willing to heal the polluted soil of our heart!

The Bible states… “It (God’s Covenant) shall be established for ever as the Moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven (sky). Selah.” Psalm 89:37

God’s Covenant (The Gospel) has been inscribed in the sky.

In the night sky, predominantly.

It has been established “as the Moon, and as a faithful witness…”.

.

**That there would be “signs in the Sun… moon, and…stars” (Luke 21:25) just before the end, was a promise made by God.**

.

**But we didn’t know exactly what those signs would be (although many thought they knew).**

Nor did we realize that these signs would be pointing us to present Bible truths!

Today’s Devotional – December 17th (The Little Evergreen Tree)

Today’s Devotional – December 17th

.

The Little Evergreen Tree

.

If someone was going to write a children’s story, it might be about a little evergreen tree, which lived with its parents in a big meadow (And that someone might call it, “O’Sheol’s Fair-Meadow”) filled with many different and colorful and beautiful trees.

.

And as they wrote about this little tree, they might take special note of the fact that this little tree became very jealous of all the other trees, because of their beautiful and colorful leaves…

.

***“Mama”,* said the little tree, *“Why are all the other trees so beautiful, and I’m so drab?”***

.

***“Oh Little-One”,* answered Mama, *“You just don’t appreciate how we evergreens are always pointing upward to Heaven’s everlasting joy!***

.

And that’s your job too!

.

That’s why you are here in O’sheol’s Fair-Meadow, to point the world upward!

.

And in good time, you will see just how wonderful you really are!”

.

Of course, we all know how impatient that young little trees can be!

.

**And Little-One was no exception!**

.

**And so, Little-One wasn’t very happy about Mama’s answer.**

.

**And Little-One thought about what Mama said.**

.

**And Little-One thought about how all the other trees pointed in all sorts of new and different and interesting directions!**

.

Well, spring turned to Summer, and Summer turned to Fall.

.

**And Little-One grew taller, but so did all the other little trees!**

.

***“Mama”,* said Little-One, *“all the other trees are taller now, and even more pretty now that Summer is over, and Winter is almost here!***

.

Just look at their bright colors now!

.

And Mama, they seem to be pointing in all sorts of new and different and interesting directions, too!

.

And I’m still just this drab old dark green color.

.

And all I ever point to, is upward!”

.

***“Well, Little-One”,* said Mama, *“As I’ve already told you, your job is to point those others upward to Heaven!***

.

Oh yes, it’s true, those other trees point in other directions which may seem new and interesting now.

.

But soon, you will see just how wonderful and special you really are!

.

Just be patient, and you will see!”

.

Well now, one day in November, there came a very cold morning.

.

The dark clouds rolled over the land.

.

**And then came a strong wind from the north, bringing a very cold, frosty chill throughout that O’Sheol’s Fair-Meadow where Little-One’s family lived.**

.

And what do think happened?

.

Well, with each and every strong wind, more and more of those beautiful and colorful leaves fell from all those once-beautiful trees, until there were no leaves left on those once-beautiful trees!

.

**And Little-One looked around, in amazement at all the other trees in the O’Sheol’s Fair-Meadow!**

.

**And Little-One couldn’t believe its eyes!**

.

All those once-beautiful leaves were now all gone!

.

And those once-beautiful trees now looked sad and barren!

.

**And O’Sheol’s Fair-Meadow wasn’t so fair anymore!**

.

“Mama! Mama! What happened to all the other trees in the meadow? They look all sad and dead and barren!”

.

“Yes, Little-One, that’s what I’ve been trying to tell you!

.

These other trees which pointed in every-which direction, have now lost all their beauty which they had when the weather was fair and warm.

.

But now when hard times have fallen upon O’Sheol’s (now-not-so-fair) Meadow, then only we Evergreens are left with our rich covering!

.

And we still have our dark rich green hue, and we’re still pointing this sad world up to Heaven’s everlasting joy!”

.

**And so, that was just about the last time that Little-One felt ugly and drab!**

.

**Now Little-One could see, just how wonderful it is to be an Evergreen tree!**

.

**And by-and-by, Little-One grew up into a very noble Evergreen Tree!**

.

And eventually he became the tallest of all the trees in O’Sheol’s Meadow!

.

**And now, whenever the strong winds blow, Little-One (no longer so little), now sways gently and gracefully with the four winds of Heaven.**

.

**And Little-One still is evergreen, and still is pointing straight up, to Heaven’s everlasting joy, for all the world to see!**

TODAY’S HEAVENLY SIGN

.

1st FACE…THE NIGHT-WATCHMAN

.

“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see.

.

**It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’.**

.

Most have seen it.

.

Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see. But let’s concentrate on the first face.)

.

**Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth.**

.

‘Shock and Awe’!

.

That’s the look on his face.

.

Sadness too!

.

You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136)

.

The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”.

.

**God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well.**

.

Listen to the Psalmist…

…”It (God’s covenant with David shall be established for ever as the Moon,

and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”

Psalm 89:37.

.

Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”.

.

The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives.

.

And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3

.

There is a biblical concept which is so important, that none living in these last days should be ignorant of…

…it is the concept of being a watchman…those soldiers who stood watch upon the city walls, for an approaching enemy.

“I (Jesus) say unto all, Watch!”

.

for ye know not when the Master of the house cometh,

at even, or at midnight,

or at the cockcrowing,

or in the morning:

Lest coming suddenly He find you sleeping.

And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch!”

But Jesus likewise warns each and every one of us to be watchful for His approach too! Not to be asleep when He comes!

“For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication”

Now this is not saying that the Christian shouldn’t get a good night’s sleep.

.

No, but this is saying, instead, that we are not to get so absorbed in the busy-ness of everyday life that we forget that we are in the midst of a battle for our souls…

.

Listen…“And take heed to yourselves,

lest at any time your hearts be overcharged

with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life,

and so that day come upon you unawares.

For as a snare shall it come on all them

that dwell on the face of the whole earth.”

.

So, here are the very words of Jesus as He warns us against getting caught up in the cares and pleasures of life!

.

.

GETTING TOO BUSY!

.

And Solomon also warns…“For a dream cometh through the multitude of busyness…” Ecclesiastes 5:3

.

These two verses are saying the same thing.

.

.

**Yes, Satan is called, “the god of this world” 2nd Corinthians 4:4.**

**How do we NOT let, “a dream cometh”, as it says in Ecclesiastes?**
