Customer shall only use the Software and access the Adobe Online Services in the Territory and in a manner consistent with the activation policy described at http://www.adobe.com/go/activation. Adobe may terminate the license granted herein or suspend the Membership or access to the Adobe Online Services if Adobe determines that Customer is using the Software or Adobe Online Services outside the Territory. 5. Updates. If the Software is an Update to a prior version of Adobe software (the “Prior Version”), then Customer’s use of this Update is conditional upon its retention of the Prior Version. Therefore, if Customer validly transfers this Update pursuant to Section 4.6, the Customer must transfer the Prior Version along with it. If Customer wishes to use this Update in addition to the Prior Version, then Customer may only do so on the same Computer on which it has installed and is using the Prior Version. Any obligations that Adobe may have to support Prior Versions during the License Term may end upon the availability of this Update. No other use of the Update is permitted. Additional Updates may be licensed to Customer by Adobe with additional or different terms. 6. Limited Warranty. Except as otherwise stated in a separate agreement between Adobe and a Software licensee, Adobe warrants to the individual or entity that first purchases a license for the Software for use pursuant to the terms of this agreement that the Software will perform substantially in accordance with the corresponding user manual for the Software for the shorter period of (a) the ninety (90) day period or (b) License Term following receipt of the Software (“Warranty Period”) when used on the Compatible Computer. Non-substantial variation of performance from the user manual does not establish a warranty right. This limited warranty does not apply to the following, which are made available AS-IS and without warranty from Adobe: (i) patches; (ii) font software; (iii) Pre-release Software, trial, starter, evaluation, product sampler, Evaluation Software, and not-for-resale copies of the Software; (iv) websites, Adobe Online Services; and Third Party Online Services; (v) Certified Document Services (see Section 16); and (vi) any software made available by Adobe for free via web download from an Adobe website. All warranty claims must be made, along with proof of purchase, to the Adobe Customer Support Department within such Warranty Period. Additional information on warranty claims is available at http://www.adobe.com/go/support. The entire liability of Adobe and its affiliates related to such warranty claim and Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy under any warranty will be limited to either, at Adobe’s option, support of the Software based on the warranty claim, replacement of the Software, or, if support or replacement is not practicable at Adobe’s determination, refund of the license fee Customer paid for the Software (if any). THE LIMITED WARRANTY SET FORTH IN THIS SECTION GIVES CUSTOMER SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. CUSTOMER MAY HAVE ADDITIONAL RIGHTS UNDER LAW WHICH MAY VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION. ADOBE DOES NOT SEEK TO LIMIT CUSTOMER’S WARRANTY RIGHTS TO ANY EXTENT NOT PERMITTED BY LAW. Please see Section 16 for jurisdiction-specific provisions or contact the Adobe Customer Support Department. 7. Limitation of Liability. EXCEPT FOR THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OFFERED BY ADOBE ABOVE AND ANY REMEDIES THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER LAW, ADOBE, ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, AND CERTIFICATE AUTHORITIES WILL NOT BE LIABLE TO CUSTOMER FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, OR COSTS WHATSOEVER INCLUDING ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST SAVINGS, ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, PERSONAL INJURY OR FAILURE TO MEET ANY DUTY OF CARE, OR CLAIMS BY A THIRD PARTY, EVEN IF AN ADOBE REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH LOSS, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, OR COSTS. IN ANY EVENT, ADOBE’S AGGREGATE LIABILITY AND THAT OF ITS AFFILIATES, SUPPLIERS, AND CERTIFICATE AUTHORITIES UNDER OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE, IF ANY. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY EVEN IN THE EVENT OF A FUNDAMENTAL OR MATERIAL BREACH OR A BREACH OF THE FUNDAMENTAL OR MATERIAL TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT. Nothing contained in this agreement limits Adobe’s liability to Customer in the event of death or personal injury resulting from Adobe’s negligence or for the tort of deceit (fraud). Adobe is acting on behalf of its affiliates, suppliers, and Certificate Authorities for the purpose of disclaiming, excluding and limiting obligations, warranties, and liability, but in no other respects and for no other purpose. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS APPLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW IN CUSTOMER’S JURISDICTION. THIS LIMITATION OF LIABILITY MAY NOT BE VALID IN SOME JURISDICTIONS. CUSTOMER MAY HAVE RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE WAIVED UNDER CONSUMER PROTECTION AND OTHER LAWS. ADOBE DOES NOT SEEK TO LIMIT ITS WARRANTY OR REMEDIES TO ANY EXTENT NOT PERMITTED BY LAW. SEE SECTION 16 FOR JURISDICTION-SPECIFIC STATEMENTS. 9. Export Rules. Customer acknowledges that the Software is subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (the “EAR”) and that Customer will comply with the EAR. Customer will not export or re-export the Software, directly or indirectly, to: (a) any countries that are subject to U.S. export restrictions (including, but not limited to, Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, and Syria), (b) any end user whom Customer knows or has reason to know will utilize them in the design, development or production of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons, or rocket systems, space launch vehicles, and sounding rockets, or unmanned air vehicle systems, or (c) any end user who has been prohibited from participating in the U.S. export transactions by any federal agency of the U.S. government. In addition, Customer is responsible for complying with any local laws in Customer’s jurisdiction which may impact its right to import, export or use the Software. If Adobe has knowledge that a violation has occurred, Adobe may be prohibited from providing maintenance and support for the Software. 10. Governing Law. If Customer is a consumer who uses the Software for only personal non-business purposes, then this agreement will be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction which Customer purchased the license to use the Software. If Customer is not such a consumer, this agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws in force in: (a) the State of California, if a license to the Software is obtained when Customer is in the United States, Canada, or Mexico; (b) Japan, if a license to the Software is obtained when Customer is in Japan; (c) Singapore, if a license to the Software is obtained when Customer is in a member state of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, Mainland China, Hong Kong S.A.R., Macau S.A.R., Taiwan, or the Republic of Korea; or (d) England and Wales, if a license to the Software is obtained when Customer is in any jurisdiction not described above. The respective courts of Santa Clara County, California when California law applies, Tokyo District Court in Japan, when Japanese law applies, and the competent courts of London, England, when the law of England and Wales applies, shall each have non-exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes relating to this agreement. When Singapore law applies, any dispute arising out of or in connection with this agreement, including any question regarding its existence, validity, or termination, shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Singapore in accordance with the Arbitration Rules of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) for the time being in force, which rules are deemed to be incorporated by reference into this section. There shall be one arbitrator, selected jointly by the parties. If the arbitrator is not selected within thirty (30) days of the written demand by a party to submit to arbitration, the Chairman of the SIAC shall make the selection. The language of the arbitration shall be English. Notwithstanding any provision in this agreement, Adobe or Customer may request any judicial, administrative, or other authority to order any provisional or conservatory measure, including injunctive relief, specific performance, or other equitable relief, prior to the institution of legal or arbitration proceedings, or during the proceedings, for the preservation of its rights and interests or to enforce specific terms that are suitable for provisional remedies. This agreement will not be governed by the following, the application of which is hereby expressly excluded: (x) the conflict of law rules of any jurisdiction, (y) the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, and (z) the Uniform Computer Information Transactions Act, as enacted in any jurisdiction. 11. General Provisions. If any part of this agreement is found void and unenforceable, it will not affect the validity of the balance of this agreement, which will remain valid and enforceable according to its terms. This agreement may only be modified in writing, signed by an authorized officer of Adobe. The English version of this agreement will be the version used when interpreting or construing this agreement. This is the entire agreement between Adobe and Customer relating to the Software and it supersedes any prior representations, discussions, undertakings, communications, or advertising relating to the Software. 12. Notice to U.S. Government End Users. 12.1 U.S. Government Licensing of Adobe Technology. Customer agrees that when licensing Adobe Software for acquisition by the U.S. Government, or any contractor therefore, Customer will license consistent with the policies set forth in 48 C.F.R. Section 12.212 (for civilian agencies) and 48 C.F.R. Sections 227.7202‑1 and 227.7202‑4 (for the Department of Defense). For U.S. Government End Users, Adobe agrees to comply with all applicable equal opportunity laws including, if appropriate, the provisions of Executive Order 11246, as amended, Section 402 of the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (38 USC 4212), and Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the regulations at 41 CFR Parts 60‑1 through 60‑60, 60‑250, and 60‑741. The affirmative action clause and regulations contained in the preceding sentence will be incorporated by reference into this agreement. 12.2 Commercial Items. For U.S. Government End Users, Software is a “Commercial Item(s),” as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. Section 2.101, consisting of “Commercial Computer Software” and “Commercial Computer Software Documentation,” as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. Section 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. Section 227.7202, as applicable. Consistent with 48 C.F.R. Section 12.212 or 48 C.F.R. Sections 227.7202‑1 through 227.7202‑4, as applicable, the Commercial Computer Software and Commercial Computer Software Documentation are being licensed to U.S. Government end users (a) only as Commercial Items and (b) with only those rights as are granted to all other end users pursuant to the terms and conditions herein. Unpublished-rights reserved under the copyright laws of the United States. 13. Compliance with Licenses. If Customer is a business, company, or organization, Customer agrees that, in addition to any license compliance checking performed by the Software, Adobe or its authorized representative have the right, no more than once every twelve (12) months, upon seven (7) business days’ prior notice to Customer, to inspect Customer’s records, systems, and facilities to verify that its use of any and all Adobe software or service is in conformity with its valid licenses from Adobe. For example, Adobe has the right to those of Customer’s records useful to determine whether installations of the Software have been serialized, and Customer shall provide such records to Adobe promptly upon request by Adobe. Additionally, Customer shall provide Adobe with all records and information requested by Adobe in order to verify that its use of any and all Adobe software is in conformity with its valid licenses from Adobe within thirty (30) days of Adobe’s request. Additional information on serialization is available at http://www.adobe.com/go/elicensing. 14. Internet Connectivity and Privacy. 14.1 Automatic Connections to the Internet. The Software may cause Customer’s Computer, without notice, to automatically connect to the Internet and to communicate with an Adobe website or Adobe domain for purposes such as license validation and providing Customer with additional information, features, or functionality. Unless otherwise specified in Sections 14.2 through 14.7, the following provisions apply to all automatic Internet connections by the Software: 14.1.1 Whenever the Software makes an Internet connection and communicates with an Adobe website, whether automatically or due to explicit user request, the Privacy Policy shall apply. Adobe Privacy Policy allows tracking of website visits and it addresses in detail the topic of tracking and use of cookies, web beacons, and similar devices. 14.1.2 Whenever the Software connects to Adobe over the Internet, certain Customer information is collected and transmitted by the Software to Adobe pursuant to the Adobe Online Privacy Policy available at http://www.adobe.com/go/privacy (“Privacy Policy”). 14.1.3 If Customer accesses an Adobe Online Service (as defined in Section 16.4 below) or activates or registers the Software, then additional information such as Customer’s Adobe ID, user name, and password may be transmitted to and stored by Adobe pursuant to the Privacy Policy and additional terms of use related to such Adobe Online Service (collectively with the Adobe.com terms of use and any applicable terms, the “Additional Terms of Use”). 14.1.4 As permitted by applicable law or as consented to by Customer, Adobe may (a) send Customer transactional messages to facilitate the Adobe Online Service or the activation or registration of the Software or Adobe Online Service, or (b) deliver in-product marketing to provide information about the Software and other Adobe products and Services using information including but not limited to platform version, version of the Software, license status, and language. 14.2 Updating. The Software may cause Customer’s Computer, without additional notice, to automatically connect to the Internet (intermittently or on a regular basis) to (a) check for Updates that are available for download to and installation on the Computer and (b) notify Adobe of the results of installation attempts. 14.3 Activation. The Software may require Customer to (a) obtain an Adobe ID, (b) activate or reactivate the Software, (c) register the software, or (d) validate the Membership. Such requirement may cause Customer’s Computer to connect to the Internet without notice on install, on launch, and on a regular basis thereafter. Once connected, the Software will collect and transmit information to Adobe as further described at http://www.adobe.com/go/activation (“Activation Terms”). Software or Customer may also receive information from Adobe related to Customer’s license, subscription, or Membership. Adobe may use such information to detect or prevent fraudulent or unauthorized use not in accordance with a valid license, subscription, or Membership. Failure to activate or register the Software, validate the subscription or Membership, or a determination by Adobe of fraudulent or unauthorized use of the Software may result in reduced functionality, inoperability of the Software, or a termination or suspension of the subscription or Membership. 14.4 Deactivation. Customer may deactivate and uninstall the Software from its Computer in order to install and activate the Software on another Computer in accordance with this agreement (“Deactivation”) and as further described in http://www.adobe.com/go/activation. Deactivation requires Internet connectivity. 14.5 Use of Online Services. The Software may cause Customer’s Computer, without additional notice and on an intermittent or regular basis, to automatically connect to the Internet to facilitate Customer’s access to content and services that are provided by Adobe or third parties as further described in Section 16.4 (Online Services). In addition, the Software may, without additional notice, automatically connect to the Internet to update downloadable materials from these online services so as to provide immediate availability of these services even when Customer is offline. 14.6 Digital Certificates. The Software uses digital certificates (as described in Section 16.5) to help Customer identify downloaded files (e.g., applications and content) and the publishers of those files. For example, Adobe AIR uses digital certificates to help Customer identify the publisher of Adobe AIR applications. The Adobe Acrobat family of products also uses digital certificates to sign and validate signatures within Portable Document Format (“PDF”) documents and to validate certified PDF documents. Customer’s Computer may connect to the Internet at the time of validation of a digital certificate. 14.7 Settings Manager. The Software may include Flash Player. Flash Player may save certain user settings by storing them on Customer’s Computer as a local shared object. They are associated with the instance of Flash Player on the Computer, allowing Customer to customize runtime features. The Flash Player Settings Manager permits Customer to modify such settings, including the ability to limit third parties from storing local shared objects or grant third party content the right to access the computer’s microphone and camera. Additional information on how to configure settings in its version of Flash Player, including information on how to disable local shared objects using the Flash Player Settings Manager, is available at http://www.adobe.com/go/settingsmanager. Additional information on local shared objects is available at http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayer_security. 15. Peer-to-Peer Communications. The Software may use Customer’s connection to a local area network, without additional notice, to automatically connect to other Adobe software and, in doing so, may indicate on the local area network that it is available for communication with other Adobe software. These connections may transmit the IP Address of Customer’s connection to the local network. 16. Specific Provisions and Exceptions. This section sets forth specific provisions related to certain products and components of the Software as well as limited exceptions to the above terms and conditions. To the extent that any provision in this section is in conflict with any other term or condition in this agreement, the terms stated in this section will supersede such other term or condition. 16.1 No Prejudice; European Economic Area Provisions; Australia Mandatory Notice. 16.1.1 This agreement will not prejudice the statutory rights of any party, including those dealing as consumers. For example, for consumers in New Zealand who obtain the Software for personal, domestic, or household use (not business purposes), this agreement is subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act. 16.1.2 If Customer obtained the Software in the European Economic Area (EEA), Customer usually resides in the EEA and Customer is a consumer (that is its use of the Software is for personal, non-business related purposes), then Section 6 (Limited Warranty) does not apply to Customer’s purchase and use of the Software. Instead, Adobe warrants for a period of 2 years from purchase that the Software provides the functionalities set forth in the applicable user manual (the “agreed upon functionalities”) when used on the Compatible Computer. Non-substantial variation from the agreed upon functionalities will not establish any warranty rights. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO SOFTWARE THAT CUSTOMER USES ON A PRE-RELEASE, TRYOUT, STARTER, OR PRODUCT SAMPLER BASIS, OR TO FONT SOFTWARE, OR TO THE EXTENT THE SOFTWARE FAILS TO PERFORM BECAUSE IT HAS BEEN ALTERED BY CUSTOMER. To make a warranty claim, Customer must notify the Adobe Customer Support Department during this 2 year period, providing details of proof of purchase of the Software. Adobe will verify with Customer whether there is a defect in the Software or advise Customer that the error arises because Customer has not installed the Software correctly (in which case, Adobe shall assist Customer). If there is a defect in the Software, Customer may request from Adobe either a refund or a repaired or replacement copy of the Software. Requests must be accompanied by proof of purchase. In the event Customer’s warranty details are substantiated, Adobe will meet Customer’s request for repaired or replacement Software, unless it is not reasonable for Adobe to do so, in which case Adobe will provide Customer with a refund. For warranty assistance, please contact the Adobe Customer Support Department. Please note that the provisions of Section 8 (Limitation of Liability) will continue to apply to any damages claims Customer makes in respect of its use of the Software. Nonetheless, Adobe shall be liable for direct losses that are reasonably foreseeable in the event of a breach by Adobe of this agreement. Customer is advised to take all reasonable measures to avoid and reduce damages, in particular by making back-up copies of the Software and its computer data. This agreement, and in particular this Section 16.1.2, is intended to describe Customer’s rights (including its statutory rights) in the event there should be problems with its use of the Software. If Customer’s statutory rights are greater than this description, its statutory rights shall apply. 16.1.3 Nothing included in this agreement (including Section 4.4) shall limit any non-waivable right to decompile the Software that Customer may enjoy under applicable law. For example, if Customer is located in the European Union (EU), Customer may have the right upon certain conditions specified in the applicable law to decompile the Software if it is necessary to do so in order to achieve interoperability of the Software with another software program, and Customer has first asked Adobe in writing to provide the information necessary to achieve such operability and Adobe has not made such information available. In addition, such decompilation may only be performed by Customer or someone else entitled to use a copy of the Software on Customer’s behalf. Adobe has the right to impose reasonable conditions before providing such information. Any information supplied by Adobe or obtained by Customer, as permitted hereunder, may only be used by Customer for the purpose described herein and may not be disclosed to any third party or used to create any software that is substantially similar to the expression of the Software or used for any other act that infringes the copyright of Adobe or its licensors. 16.1.4 If Customer obtains the Software in Australia, then the following provision shall apply, notwithstanding anything stated to the contrary in this Agreement: NOTICE TO CONSUMERS IN AUSTRALIA: Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Our software products also come with a 90‑day limited warranty given by Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, with an office at 4‑6 Riverwalk, Citywest Business Campus, Dublin, Ireland, as set out in the Agreement. If your products do not provide the general features and functions described in the User Documentation in the 90‑day period after delivery to you, please call the Adobe Customer Support Department at 1800 614 863 with details of your product, serial number, and proof of purchase. You may be required to return the software product to the address we provide to you at the time, in which case such return will be at your own cost. The benefits under this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies that you may have at law. 16.2 Pre-release Software Additional Terms. If the Software is pre-commercial release or beta software (“Pre-release Software”), then this section applies. The Pre-release Software does not represent final product from Adobe, and may contain bugs, errors, and other problems that could cause system or other failures and data loss. Adobe may never commercially release the Pre-release Software. If Customer received the Pre-release Software pursuant to a separate written agreement, such as the Adobe Systems Incorporated License Agreement for Pre-release Software, then Customer’s use of the Software is also governed by such agreement. Customer will promptly return or destroy all copies of Pre-release Software upon the earlier of Adobe’s request or upon Adobe’s commercial release of such Software. CUSTOMER’S USE OF PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE IS AT ITS OWN RISK. SEE SECTIONS 6 AND 8 FOR LIMITED WARRANTY AND LIABILITY LIMITATIONS RELATED TO PRE-RELEASE SOFTWARE. 16.3 Educational Software Product. If the Software is Educational Software Product (Software manufactured and distributed for use only by Educational End Users), Customer is not entitled to use the Software unless Customer If the Software includes font software: 16.6.1 Customer may use the font software with the Software on Computers as described in Section 2 and output the font software to any output device(s) connected to such Computer(s). 16.6.2 If the Permitted Number of Computers is five (5) or fewer, Customer may download the font software to the memory (hard disk or RAM) of one output device connected to at least one of such Computers for the purpose of having the font software remain resident in such output device, and of one more such output device for every multiple of five represented by the Permitted Number of Computers. 16.6.3 Customer may take a copy of the font(s) Customer has used for a particular file to a commercial printer or other service bureau, and such service bureau may use the font(s) to process its file, provided such service bureau has a valid license to use that particular font software. 16.6.4 Customer may embed copies of the font software into its electronic documents for the purpose of printing, viewing, and editing the document. No other embedding rights are implied or permitted under this license. 16.6.5 As an exception to the above, the fonts listed at http://www.adobe.com/go/restricted_fonts are included with the Software only for purposes of operation of the Software user interface and not for inclusion within any Output Files. Such listed fonts are not licensed under this Section 16.6. Customer agrees that it will not copy, move, activate or use, or allow any font management tool to copy, move, activate or use, such listed fonts in or with any software application, program, or file other than the Software. 16.7 After Effects Render Engine. If the Software includes the full version of Adobe After Effects, then Customer may install an unlimited number of Render Engines on Computers within its Internal Network which includes at least one Computer on which the full version of the Adobe After Effects software is installed. The term “Render Engine” means an installable portion of the Software that allows After Effects projects to be rendered but which cannot be used to create or modify projects and does not include the complete After Effects user interface. 16.8 Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, and Adobe Acrobat Suite Features. If the Software includes Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, Acrobat Suite, or certain features within the above software, then this Section 16.8 shall apply. 16.8.1 Additional Definitions. 16.8.1.1 “Deploy” means to deliver or otherwise make available, directly or indirectly, by any means including but not limited to a network or Internet, an Extended Document to one or more recipients. 16.8.1.2 “Extended Document” means a PDF file manipulated by the Software to enable the ability to locally save documents with filled-in PDF forms. 16.8.2 The Software may include enabling technology that allows Customer to enable PDF documents with certain features through the use of a digital credential located within the Software (“Key”). Customer agrees not to access, attempt to access, control, disable, remove, use, or distribute the Key for any purpose. 16.8.3 For any unique Extended Document Customer may only either (a) Deploy such Extended Document to an unlimited number of unique recipients, but Customer shall not extract information or cause the information to be extracted from more than five hundred (500) unique instances of such Extended Document or any hardcopy representation of such Extended Document containing filled form fields; or (b) Deploy such Extended Document to no more than five hundred (500) unique recipients without limits on the number of times Customer may extract information from such Extended Document returned to Customer filled-in by such recipients. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, obtaining additional licenses to use Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite shall not increase the foregoing limits (that is, the foregoing limits are the aggregate total limits regardless of how many additional licenses to use Acrobat Standard, Acrobat Pro, or Adobe Acrobat Suite Customer may have obtained). 16.9 Flash Player Projectors and Runtime. Customer’s rights to use any Flash player, projector, standalone player, plug-in, runtime, or ActiveX control provided to Customer as part of or with the Software, or in an Output File shall be governed by terms available at http://www.adobe.com/go/flashplayer_usage. Unless and except as provided therein, Customer shall have no rights to use or distribute such software. 16.10 Contribute Publishing Services. Subject to the Contribute Publishing Services software end user license agreement accompanying such software, Customer shall not connect to the Contribute Publishing Services software unless Customer has purchased a license to connect to such Contribute Publishing Services software for each individual who may connect to such Contribute Publishing Services software; provided, however, that trial versions of Adobe Contribute software may install and connect to the Contribute Publishing Services software in accordance with the Contribute Publishing Services software end user license agreement. 16.11 Adobe Presenter. If the Software includes Adobe Presenter and Customer installs or uses the Adobe Connect Add-in in connection with the use of the Software, Customer agrees that it will install and use such add-in only on a desktop Computer and not on any non-PC product, including, but not limited to, a web appliance, set top box, handheld, phone, or web pad device. Further, the portion of the Software that is embedded in a presentation, information, or content created and generated using the Software (the “Adobe Presenter Run-Time”) may only be used together with the presentation, information, or content in which it is embedded. Customer shall not use, and shall cause all licensees of such presentation, information, or content not to use, the Adobe Presenter Run-Time other than as embedded in such presentation, information or content. In addition, Customer shall not use, and shall cause all licensees of such presentation, information, or content not to, modify, reverse engineer, or disassemble the Adobe Presenter Run-Time. 16.12 Flash Builder with LiveCycle Data Services (LCDS) Data Management Library. Adobe Flash Builder may include the fds.swc library. Customer may use fds.swc only to provide client-side data management capabilities and as an output file within software Customer develops, subject to the following: Customer may not (a) use fds.swc to enable associations or offline capabilities within software or (b) incorporate fds.swc into any software that is similar to Adobe LiveCycle Data Services or BlazeDS. If Customer would like to do any of the foregoing, Customer will need to request a separate license from Adobe. 16.13 Digital Publishing Suite. The following terms apply if Software includes certain components or features designed to work with or access Digital Publishing Suite, subject to the Additional Terms of Use for Digital Publishing Suite. “DPS Desktop Tools” means Folio Overlays Panel, Folio Builder Panel, Content Viewer for Desktop, and Digital Publishing Plug-in for InDesign. If the Software includes DPS Desktop Tool (or any component thereof), then, except as otherwise provided in this Section 16 or the Additional Terms of Use, Customer may install and use the DPS Desktop Tools solely for the purposes of (a) creating or producing the content designed to be displayed within the Content Viewer (“Output”), (b) evaluating and testing the Output, and (c) where available, accessing and using the Adobe Digital Publishing Suite services pursuant to the Additional Terms of Use. Except as otherwise permitted herein, Customer may not display, distribute, modify, or publicly perform the DPS Desktop Tools. 16.14 AVC DISTRIBUTION. In these divided states, there is a giant disagreement. You see, it seems that a large portion of the citizenry keeps warning us about “the coming New World Order”. And one of the great fears about such a giant paradigm shift is that such a global government would eventually do away with individual nations.

But also, there is a large segment of the population who would like to see such a world order! And the unofficial world-anthem would be something like…

Imagine there’s no countries
It isn’t hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace… You…

You may say I’m a dreamer
But I’m not the only one
I hope someday you’ll join us
And the world will be as one

Well, such a dream like this may sound good on paper. After all, to imagine all the people

Isn’t it nice to enjoy that wonderful hour of the morning when the sun first arises, saturating the whole world with a golden hue!? And what about on a warm summer evening, as all nature basks in the same golden hue just prior to the sun going down?

Photographers know what you’re speaking of when you refer to these “golden hours of the day”.

.

Yes, just after sunrise and right before sundown, the sun begins to appear golden, which even gives a person’s silhouette a golden glow. And photographers take advantage of this narrow window of time to hopefully take very flattering photos of their subjects. Yes, these golden moments of the day are the most beautiful!

But as with everything in nature, this phenomenon offers spiritual insight, as we look out upon this world.

.

At the dawn of Creation, mankind was created to glorify God. Everything God created was good and beautiful. And all nature rejoiced in what their Creator had made!

.

But as we all know, mankind rebelled against Heaven, and we have been suffering ever since!

.

And yet…and yet, we have seen much supposed goodness during the last few decades. Haven’t you noticed how much humanitarianism is going on these days? The television is bombarded with messages concerning some aspect of social justice! Why, it’s amazing how much generosity and kindness seems to be occurring these days! Yes, mankind has gone through the past few decades, which seemingly offered much promise, of mankind achieving some semblance of brotherly kindness. Myriads of social programs have sprung up like proverbial mushrooms throughout the land!

And it seemed, for a while, that many nations were striving to come together in the name of “social equity and justice”.

.

And what about television? Yes, with the advent of television, radio, Internet and the printed page, the world was now being presented as a pretty nice place with much beauty and brotherly kindness. And even some of the darker aspects of the world could be glossed over with a bright artificial “makeover”. And fresh-faced hosts greeted us each morning with light and witty and hopeful conversation, even amidst their horrible daily news reports!

And children were shuttled off to their respective learning centers where they would receive their daily dose of the ABC’s plus other, less-than-wholesome, subjects.

.

One could perhaps say that these past decades have been the golden hour of Man’s existence! There seemed to be a lot of hope! Society became state-of-the-art in many respects!

.

But tragically, just as the golden hour of the day is brief and fleeting, so also, this seeming golden hour of mankind is quickly passing as the golden light appears to be fading and the dark night rapidly approaches.

.

Yes, we are now seeing things beginning to deteriorate. The nations are becoming increasingly angry. The general populace is becoming intolerant of one-another. And the entire world seems to be edging towards totalitarian indifference. The “peace and love” crowd have become an angry mob. The free speech advocates of the 1960’s have now joined the cancel culture. Law and order seems to be giving sway to lawless chaos!

.

Now amidst this gloomy report, is there any Good News? Well, yes! Even though this world seems to be on a downward spiral, doesn’t have to be the experience of those who desire to escape from this awful and hopeless situation. No, just the opposite! Listen…”Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Matthew 13:43

Yes, the sun may be going down upon this ever-darkening world. But those who renounce this hopeless world will, instead, “shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.” Daniel 12:3

Have you noticed how so many song-composers seem to just “run dry” when they get older? You would think that they would only get better through having tasted so much of life’s ups and downs!

But just the opposite is true!

.

But hey, this all seems to go well with this youth-worshiping world we now live in! Yes, our society definitely caters to the young and strong and beautiful!

.

But actually, the world is fulfilling Bible prophecy, whether they know it or not!

.

Listen to Scripture…A voice says, “Cry!”
    And I said,^[c] “What shall I cry?”
All flesh is grass,
    and all its beauty^[d] is like the flower of the field.
⁷ The grass withers, the flower fades
    when the breath of the Lord blows on it;
    surely the people are grass.
⁸ The grass withers, the flower fades,
    but the word of our God will stand forever.

 

Yes, the Word of Truth reveals that man’s glory is like the flower of the field. It flourishes for a little while, and then it withers and eventually dies. And so it is with so many music artists. They are young and fresh and so is their music.

But just like the well which eventually runs dry, so do their careers! No longer can they compose all those fresh songs. Their beauty fades like the proverbial flower of the field.

 

Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. 1st Timothy 5:17

The Church of God has been growing in apostasy for several centuries, ever since persecution ceased by The Church of Rome in Europe. Worldly compromises have steadily crept into the church-world over the last two centuries. (For detailed information about these compromises, the Reader is encouraged to read such articles as…)

And yet, in spite of this growing apostasy, God did not completely abandon His Lukewarm people. Perhaps, the world’s most popular daily Bible study is now the 5-year “Thru The Bible” study, heard daily via many radio stations, both domestically as well as in other nations, hosted by the late, John Vernon McGee.

.

And when it began in the 1970’s it seemed like a very great way to be introduced to the Bible via its, book-by-book, chapter-by-chapter, and sometimes even verse-by-verse systematic study through the entire Bible, over a five year period, then repeating itself for another five year period. And so, a new listener could “jump in” at any point and continue, knowing that in five years, he or she would have completed the entire Bible, regardless of whatever book of the Bible they first jumped in at.

.

And Vernon McGee made a very plain and easy to understand presentation, often adding his own humorous quips, grandfatherly advice, and folksy “down-home” witticisms, which only made his study that much more popular with neophyte Christians.

.

Unfortunately, McGee’s study has its flaws.

.

First, how McGee ever concluded that there is humor in the Bible, thus allowing him to tell jokes, quips, witticisms etc., is truly a mystery! Because the Bible, while being the very essence of godly love, sympathy, tenderness, etc., never resorts to humor, or jesting, no, not even once! This uses of worldly humor is just one of the worldly compromises which has crept into the Christian community. 

.

McGee was an avid supporter of the Scofield Study Bible, and as such, McGee was misled by this false teacher in a number of different areas, such as the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. 

.

McGee also believed in Eternal Torment, which was a heresy via The Church of Rome’s misunderstanding of proper Bible hermeneutics requiring all related passages to be rightly balanced concerning this subject. Well, time and space does not permit McGee’s flaws to be thoroughly reviewed.

.

Sufficed it to say, that McGee had many other errors in his teachings which marred his efforts to present a systematic, verse-by-verse, chapter-by-chapter, book-by-book daily study through the entire Bible in five years.  

.

But aside from that grave error, Doctor McGee also allowed himself to be heavily influenced by the extremely flawed, even heretical writings of Cyrus Scofield, who, among other heresies, convinced McGee that there was a previous creation, dying off prior to the 7 day Creation week recorded in Genesis! This grievous error, McGee somewhat publicly renounced on his radio program, prior to the end of his 5-year Thru The Bible radio series.

.

He also clung tenaciously to Scofield’s Pre-Tribulation Rapture teachings, as well as Scofield’s hyper-dispensationalism teachings.

.

On the other hand, to McGee’s credit, he did believe in Election by grace and grace alone. And his 5-year series stayed fairly much within the basic parameters of Bible truth. And truth-be-told, much of his daily teachings were really excellent, barring the aforementioned Scofield-inspired false doctrines (A Pre-Adamic-Creation, Hyper-Dispensationalism, and Pre-Tribulation Rapture, as well as his irreverent humor).

.

Nevertheless, his grandfatherly demeanor was very biblical and even much needed and appreciated by so many of his followers, who grew up in non-Christian homes, void of Bible-believing parents to nurture them up in the Word, on a daily basis.

.

Therefore, with great sadness it must be confessed that McGee’s ministry was severely tarnished with the same Babylonish influences and errors, of which God is now calling His people to come out of and separate from… “Come out of her (Babylon) My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4

.

The great day of God is upon us! And God is wanting to purify His Elect with the same purity as Jesus Christ possessed, even as it is written…“And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.” 1st John 3:3. Without such Christlike purity, it would be impossible for God’s people to “shine forth as the Sun“, as Matthew 13:43 prophesy’s of in these last moments of New Testament times.

But the very Good News is, that we still have opportunity to study God’s Word for our own selves. And along with the teachings of the messages of the three angels of Revelation 14, there is ample study material to keep one extremely busy “until the Lord come”. 1st Corinthians 4:5

And praise the Lord, He has given us two very wonderful patriarchs  who did not rely on worldly humor, to fill the void of our “less than godly family situations”! Both Harold Camping and Ellen White can more than compensate for our needs as we join this end-time exodus away from this City of Destruction, and begin our heavenward sojourn to the Celestial City of God, the heavenly Promised Land!

“For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.”

There’s a great deal of speculation about this above passage concerning the return of Elijah, the Prophet, just prior to the, “great and terrible day of the Lord”.

Will this Elijah be the exact same Elijah who came to Israel back in the days of the kings of Israel?

Or will he be another individual, who, like John the Baptist, will come in the spirit and power of Elijah?

.

Or was this Old Testament prophecy fulfilled in the coming of John the Baptist?

THE FLOODS OF EVIL

But notice that our signature Bible passage speaks of Elijah turning the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to the fathers.

And let’s face it! Satan has so poisoned the waters of our society to the degree that learning the sinful ways of this world is “as easy as falling off” that proverbial, “log!”

.

For a nation which was created by God to become a safe-haven of refuge from the persecution and tyranny which went on for centuries in Europe, The United States has tragically devolved into a different form of tyranny and persecution.

.

Satan used the apostate church-world to bring about what was named, The Dark Ages, by means of oppression of God’s people, as well as many secularists. Dungeons, torture chambers, poverty, book-burning, incineration of humans, banishment from society, and false church-doctrines were the order of the day during those centuries.

.

But today, Satan has come against humanity with new weapons of mass destruction. Instead of famine/scarcity/poverty, this master-of-persecution has been flooding the western nations with opulence, over-abundance, hedonistic-pleasures, which has proved far more destructive than his former weapons of war.

.

One of Satan’s rather new assault weapons has become atheism. Yes, atheism, the belief that there is no God has resulted in tearing down the law of God which was the glue which held societies together. Yes, the Bible speaks of this in such passages as…“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.” Romans 3:19

.

Now, this little series called, “The Return of Elijah” has primarily focused on the fact that when Elijah does return, “he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers” Malachi 4:6

.

Well, this is a very wonderful verse when we consider that our society has devolved into a very self-serving one. In other words, focus of many or perhaps most is upon seeking after materialistic/fleshly and vain pleasures and the proud and ambitious pursuits.

.

And instead of schooling their children at home, most pre-occupied parents have left this responsibility up to our atheistic school-systems! Thus, most children have been thoroughly indoctrinated into atheism, socialism, hedonism, as well as sexual perversions!

.

And now, the western societies are “reap(ing) the whirlwind”, as the Prophet, Hosea puts it!

.

Yes, much or most of the younger generation have been raised without a firm foundation. They are like a ship, driven and tossed with the wind, having little or no moral compass. Just listen to the desperate pleas in social media from confused teens who are delving into immorality, not even realizing right from wrong, even in the most basic of fundamental truths of nature!

.

And like never before, young people are turning to suicide, drugs, rap-music, and other tragic pursuits, simply because they have never received a spiritual upbringing from their detached, distracted, and disengaged parents.

.

Children need to have purpose for living

.

.

DON’T WAIT FOR ELIJAH!

.

Well, the Good News is that we don’t have to wait for Elijah to show up (whom this website teaches, to actually be speaking of God’s end-time Elect people, collectively)!

.

We can begin right now to put away the vain and foolish pursuits which steal away the precious moments with our children and with His Word!

.

And by spending copious time contemplating the Bible and nature, parents can direct the hearts of their children upward to Heaven in such away that they will be able to withstand the fierce trials and temptations which will undoubtedly assail us all in these coming days, and prepare us to walk through the Everlasting Doors which will open up for each and every child of the King on that glorious day!

1st FACE…THE NIGHT WATCHMAN

.

“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see. It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’. Most have seen it. Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see.  But let’s concentrate on the first face.) Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth. ‘Shock and Awe’. That’s the look on his face. Sadness too! You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136) The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”. God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well. Listen to the Psalmist…

.

“It (God’s covenant with David [i.e., Christ]) shall be established for ever as the Moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.” Psalm 89:37. Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”. The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives. And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3

Luke 21:25 foretells the following…”And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;”

.

Here is one of the last events to happen just prior to the return of Christ, for it is written…”And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.” Luke 21:28

.

If ever there was a time to be looking up, as this verse commands, it is NOW!

.

And while looking up, has the Reader yet located the “Serpent of Old Constellation”? Well, by all means do so! It is a very remarkable constellation with jaws made from the very same stars that form the head of that ancient Babylonian constellation, “Draco”.

.

Now, the body of Draco is made of completely different stars than the body of this Serpent of Old Constellation. Just the four stars which make up the head of Draco are the very same four stars which form the jaws of the Serpent of Old.

.

The reason for bringing this up is to use this Serpent of Old Constellation’s jaws to illustrate the main point of today’s devotional.

.

You see, those four stars which comprise the Serpents jaws make him appear to have his deadly jaws wide open. And one of the remarkable aspects of this is discovered by following the two trajectories of each jaw, both the upper as well as the lower jaws.

.

And if one should do this, it will be discovered that the lower jaw makes a straight line across the night-sky to, guess where?

.

The two stars of the lower jaw makes a trajectory straight to the Valley of Decision Constellation!

.

But if you should follow the trajectory of the two stars which comprise the upper jaw, guess where that leads to?

.

The two stars of the upper jaw makes a trajectory straight across the night-sky to the five foolish virgin stars on the Broad Way to Hell Constellation which is part of the Valley of Decision Constellation!

.

So just why is this important?

.

Well, the reason why these two trajectories are important is because they illustrate the great purpose of Satan, as he leads the apostate portion of the Church to The Valley of Decision, to be judged, and then ultimately down to Hell!

.

Here is where the parable of the Ten Virgins begins to have great significance in these last days! You see, in that parable, the five foolish virgins could not make it into the wedding supper. Because, when their lamps went out, they just did not have any oil in their vessels to see the Way into the wedding supper! And only the five wise virgins had back-up oil to light their Way into the supper.

.

Here is a great illustration concerning the seal of God and the mark of the Beast!

.

To put it very concisely, only those who have the oil of God’s Holy Spirit in their vessels (their hearts), have the seal of God. But those who do not have oil in their vessels (their hearts) will soon be filled with the character of Satan, which is the spirit of Antichrist, which is the spirit of the world.

.

Now both groups had oil in their lamps, which symbolized the Word of God, the Bible. And yet, those lamps all went out! Here is a frightening truth which many do not fully grasp. In these last days, it appears as if God is going to withdraw His Spirit from the Bible. And those who have been hiding His precious promises in their hearts will be required to walk by whatever scriptures they have already stored within.

.

But those who have been too busy in the world will find themselves bankrupt and left in darkness on that Day!

.

In other words, at some point in time, God’s people will be required to rely only upon whatever portion of the Bible they previously hid in their hearts via the daily study and contemplation of God’s precious promises. But the foolish ones in the Church had been so preoccupied with the cares and pleasures of the world that they neglected to do the ever-so-critical heart-work necessary to stand in the Evil Day!

.

Listen again to Luke….”And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

.

Here is a warning to all, that we must not allow the cares and pleasures of this life eclipse our necessary preparation for the coming crisis!

.

Jesus plainly revealed to His disciples that true Salvation can only be revealed by a total devotion to God…”So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be My disciple.” Luke 14:33

.

And so, there are many in today’s church-world who have been deceived by their church-leaders into believing that they can still vigorously pursue the many seemingly “good” pleasures and ambitious pursuits of this selfish world, and still maintain a relationship with Christ. Oh yes, those foolish ones go to church each week. And oh yes, they have enjoyed many fruitful Bible studies in the past.

.

But when that dreadful Day finally arrives, it will be so sad when they discover that they were totally bankrupt of heavenly grace: no oil in their vessels (their hearts)!

.

And so, this is why that wily old serpent, the Devil and Satan is leading all the foolish ones in the Church to the Valley of Decision, and ultimately off to Hell!

.

Listen…”Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.” Joel 3:14

.

Well, there is a bit of Good News, in spite of this dreadful news just presented.

.

You see, in His great mercy, God has allowed just enough time for all of us who have foolishly squandered our precious moments seeking for earthly treasures and pleasures, to repent! Yes, those of us who have been foolish virgins, spiritually speaking, can use this little probationary time remaining, to cry out to God for mercy and grace!

.

Listen to James 4:4, 8-10, as he speaks to God’s professed people…”Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God… Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded. Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He shall lift you up.”

.

Not only does God consider worldly-minded Christians His enemies, but he graciously calls us to a deep repentance and a heart-felt humbling before His throne, crying out to Him for another chance!

.

And so, O man, woman, and child, we have our work cut out for us! There is not a moment to lose! The Evil Day is upon us! There is no more time to dilly-dally in the world! We must continue to beg and plead for God’s grace, until we are firmly standing upon the solid Rock of holiness and victorious Christ-likeness!

7 STARS IMITATE CROSS OF ORION

This phenomenon begins in October, in the pre-dawn hours.

.

It then begins a little earlier each night.

.

.

This Wikipedia star-chart to the left, has this Orion Constellation sketched in.

You must locate Orion, when it is mid-sky, between east and west.

.

You’ll be facing southward most likely, unless you are far south.

.

Try to imagine it as a Cross on a steep hill.

.

The 3-star belt of Orion becomes the crest of the hill.

.

The 3 very faint stars that make up Orion’s head become the very top of the Cross.

.

Next, locate the 7 Stars Constellation. This 7 Stars Constellation is seen by facing northward.

.

It stands upright a little later in the night.

.

Eventually, Orion will lay down and no longer be seen as an uplifted Cross!

.

Beginning in November, the 7 Stars (AKA Big Dipper) can be seen as a Cross a little bit later in evening.

.

When you are comfortable in locating Orion & The 7 Stars Constellations, then show a friend.

.

This can be a great witnessing tool!

One of the most remarkable sights is revealed when we realize that God has created the stors of the heavens to tell the Gospel story!

.

THE SERPENT OF OLD CONSTELLATION

.

And if one should look in the vicinity of Corona Borealis, he or she might behold a constellation known as the “Serpent of Old Constellation”.

.

It is a very remarkable constellation with jaws made from the very same stars that form the head of that ancient Babylonian constellation, “Draco”.

.

Now, even though the head is the same, the body of Draco is made of completely different stars than the body of this Serpent of Old Constellation. Just the four stars which make up the head of Draco are the very same four stars which form the jaws of the Serpent of Old.

Yes, this constellation reminds us of Satan, as he deceived the very first humans, coming in the form of a serpent, convincing them to transgress the one and only law of God given to them to obey!

.

And this Master-Deceiver has been busily deceiving the human race ever since!

.

One way in which he deceives humans is to convince us that he doesn’t even exist. And then he has perpetuated many false ideas about science, specifically designed to explain away his workings, as if they are merely the result of natural occurrences.

.

Mental illnesses are a dramatic illustration of Satan’s genius as he disguises the true cause…devil possession, or devil harassment.

.

Now, another ingenious tactic Satan uses, is to camouflage his attacks by using existing circumstances to misdirect people from realizing the true spiritual nature of his workings.

.

For example, Satan might use a personal tragedy as an opportunity to strike a person with so-called, ‘mental illness’. And then, everybody assumes it was the tragedy or personal loss responsible for the mental illness.

.

Another example of Satan’s sophistry is how he uses the physical appearance or effeminate mannerisms of an individual to provide cover for Satan’s tempting that person into a life of unnatural sexual desires. The result is that people just assume that person’s abhorrent attractions are due to genetic causes, when they are actually the workings of devils!

.

And these and countless other deceptions are enough to convince us that so much of mankind’s troubles are due to natural causes, thus further erasing Satan and his vast unseen armies from any blame for the world’s woes.

.

We humans are so easy to deceive! We just imagine that if Satan does exist, he is no more than some pitch-fork wielding imp in red long-johns! We think that if Satan exists, he’s just some sort of simpleton, when the truth is, that we are the true simpletons! After all, don’t we think that he’s smart enough to cover his tracks? Don’t we understand that if we truly realized that he is “the god of this world”, we would begin to cry out to the true God of Heaven for deliverance?

.

The true worshiper of Christ will hopefully not be “ignorant of his devices”. This world is literally teeming with Satan’s deceptions! And the vast majority of the human race are totally deceived as to the true nature and existence of the spiritual battle raging all around us!

.

Well, the Good News is, that this is still the hour in which we can cry out for heavenly wisdom, and the ability to read, contemplate, and understand the Book which has been given to Mankind…the Holy Bible! And that Book will become our guide-map out of this very deceptive world of selfishness and death! And there awaits a Promised Land in which we will never again be deceived! Because the Devil, Lucifer, will be forever vanquished. He won’t even exist! And in that wonderful Land, we will live forevermore…forever happy, and forever young!

A NEW NATION WAS FORMED

Those who long ago sailed to this fledging nation, exhausted from the centuries of religious/civil tyranny in Europe, began what they thought was to be a Christian nation!

Yes, America was the beginning of a great experiment in freedom of political/religious speech as well as liberty of conscience!

.

And God mercifully gave this nation an incredible constitution: a wonderful gift given by the Almighty, because of cruel tyranny He allowed by the harsh hand of Satan, throughout the various European nations during the centuries of The Dark Ages.

And the forefathers of this new nation eventually named it, “The United States of America”.

Of course, Satan didn’t get killed back there in Europe.

.

Nor was his tyrannical Beast-system killed.

.

It merely received a “wound by a sword”, and yet, this “deadly wound was healed”. (Revelation 13:14, 3)

But Satan had a new challenge presented to him: how he might possibly infiltrate and eventually destroy this new Christian nation, The USA.

.

Well, that was really no problem!

.

You see, Satan well knew that he would eventually turn this nation into the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13: The False Prophet.

.

Yes, this 2nd beast of Revelation (which arises up in strength from its opulent materialism derived from the natural resources of the earth), has “two horns like a lamb, and speaks as a dragon” (the dragon being Satan)!

SATAN CAUSES TROUBLE

But while God’s people were hoping to make a place of refuge from the wickedness they left behind, Satan was already bringing his own people across the waters: secularists, and pseudo-Christians.

And it didn’t take long before he had already stirred up trouble in this young nation: slavery, wars with native Americans, and religious persecution had soon become the order of the day.

CONSTITUTION TRIUMPHS OVER EVIL

But the God-given constitution finally prevailed, and after a long struggle, the Constitution ended slavery.

And the following decades saw the eventual demise of racism.

Oh no, not that this world could ever be perfect!

No, but eventually both Native Americans and Black Americans gradually rose in stature, even becoming leaders in their communities, and many even world leaders!

And because the Bible prophesied that this False Prophet had “two horns as a lamb”, Satan knew he must give this deceiving beast two horns of power like the Lamb of God: Compassion & Morality.

Yes, just as Jesus is the very essence of “mercy & truth…righteousness & peace”, Satan would give this False Prophet those very qualities…yet lacking the power of the Spirit of God. (Psalm 85:10)

Now, at this point, someone would asked the obvious question: “If these two political powers are both horns on the same beast, why in the world does one horn seem so overtly evil, while the other horn appears to be so morally correct?”

And the true Lamb of God is calling for each and every weary soul to become Heaven-bound pilgrims, sojourning out of this pandemic madness! The heavenly Promised Land is awaiting!

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

.

However, the Dragon of Revelation 12 Constellation up in the night sky does not.

.

But God has faithfully created this wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

.

Because this wave of water is basically comprised of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#’s 1 thru 7, in the sketch), and the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars, (#’s 8, 9, 10).

.

So in this wave, we see the same 7/10 numbering found in the Revelation description of the heads/horns/crowns of the Dragon.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

One night, while lying in bed, Vanessa thinking back on her day, and the conflict she had with a friend. What started out as a little disagreement, soon crescendo-ed into a blowout argument. Of course, the two parted ways in a huff, and each spent the remainder of the day like steaming hot tea-pots!

Now, the usual modus-operandi of these two church-going ladies, is to remain in that condition for some days, or even weeks until both became totally simmered down, and ready to resume their friendship.

.

Now, the question is, “Is this the proper conduct for true Christians to engage in? Does forgiveness need time to heal and even days/weeks to forgive?

.

Maybe the Scriptures can offer insight into the matter of forgiveness.

.

Well, if we go to Acts, the true account of Stephen’s stoning death, we see a Christian engaging in instant forgiveness, as he cried out in the midst of his bloody assault…“And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.”

.

Another wonderful example is, of course, the words of Jesus, when suffering on that cruel Cross of Calvary…”Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.” Luke 23:34

.

Here above, we see two instances of instant forgiveness! One example by Jesus, and another by a human, Stephen!

.

And so, just how do these examples line up and agree with Scripture?

.

Listen…”And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. 31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.” Ephesians 4:31, 32

So here is a passage just jam-packed with spiritual admonition about the heart-condition of the, “true worshippers” of God! And let’s not imagine that such a godly Spirit merely comes and goes. This is to be an ongoing Spirit within a Believer’s heart.

Listen again to Paul’s letter to Galatia…“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22, 23

And listen to how Galatians comes to an end…¹⁸ Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen.”

THE CHRISTIAN HOME

But for the Christian home, things should be much closer to Heaven’s way of governing.

In other words, the Christian father and mother should take their respective roles, bringing up their children wisely and patiently and godly.

Well, at least that’s the way it should be.

But in most cases, the children, tragically, have been greatly influenced by outside associations (TV, Internet, radio…and even comic books, friends, public-schooling, etc…)

And so, needless to say, family life in the west has become very complicated for all, but especially for the Christian!

Quite often, the newer Christian is very zealous to “command his (or her) children and his household after him”, just like faithful Abraham.

But more often than not, the new Believer soon discovers that in today’s world, “the god of this world” has worked 24/7/365 to make things extremely difficult, especially for Christians!

“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”

But as the Believer becomes more seasoned in the Word, he or she begins to let go of the “tight grip on the reins”, so to speak, thus allowing more breathing room for family members to continue their world-loving lives.

And thus, that frustrated Believer begins to spend copious amounts of time in his or her “prayer closet”, praying and pleading for their Salvation!

.

And this sad state of affairs causes the Believer to determine to live closer and more devoted to the Lord.

.

And thus, by such fiery trials, the Lord, day-by-day, imperceptibly changes Believers into Christ’s glorious image!

The curse has marred, to a great extent, the pristine condition of nature.

But there are perhaps many, who are under the impression, that God’s redeemed will spend all eternity sitting on a puffy little cloud, strumming a harp.

Nothing could be further from the truth…“And I saw a new heaven and a NEW EARTH:” Revelation 21:1

.

Do we really imagine that the same God who created that incredible garden for our first parents, would then put us through all this sorrow and hardships of this life, only to now stick us in some boring situation, for all eternity?

.

Such people don’t know God nearly well enough.

.

The beauty and innocent joys of this present world, are just a faint reflection of what awaits all those who persevere on the upward pathway to that Celestial City of God.

LET’S CATCH A VISION OF THAT PROMISED LAND

So, Signs Of Heaven encourages the reader to begin to get a vision of the New Heaven and New Earth, and begin to get excited about it.

When we hear the cry of a newborn baby, or the innocent laughter of little children.

When we see a little forest creature having fun, or we enjoy a walk along the sand at the ocean, and hear the majestic roar of the crashing waves.

These, and the many other joys of life were created by the One who has also gone to prepare an even more beautiful place for us to live.

He knows our needs, and will provide a place: a far more wonderful home than this sin-cursed Earth!

And when we finally cross that river, and we stand together on the shores of that world to come, we will look in amazement at what He has in store for us there.

We live in a land in which many citizens claim to be Christians.

This nation is filled with many churches, and even more churchgoers.

And yet, 2nd Chronicles seems to be an unfulfilled promise.

We live in an unhealed and sin-sick land.

2ND CHRONICLES: AN UNFULFILLED PROMISE

SIGN IN HEAVEN

Well, If you look up and lift up your head, you just might see a wonderful sign, which God spoke about in Revelation 12.

.

It is a constellation of a woman.

.

The ancients only saw it as a great bear.

.

It is commonly known as Ursa Major.

.

It is also known as the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper), but with the addition of various other stars.

.

But with the eye of faith, it actually appears as the Revelation 12 Woman.

.

You see, God has placed in the heavens, the symbol of His bride, the Church-Faithful.

.

Listen… “And there appeared a great wonder (sign) in heaven;

a woman…And she being with child cried,

travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered…

And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle,

that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place…

from the face of the serpent.

Revelation 12:1, 2, 14.

TRAVAILING IN SUMMER, FLEEING IN WINTER

In the summer night-sky, just as this passage says, she appears as the woman-in-travail.

But in the winter, she flips upside-down, to appear as the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12, just as this passage states.

But whether this Virtuous Woman is in labor pains, or fleeing to the mountains, she is the heavenly icon of God’s bride, His Church.

.

And now we need to explore how this fleeing woman in the heavens relates to us, the Church.

.

Just like this fleeing woman, we too, need to flee from the wrath to come.

.

But how do we flee?

.

And where do we flee to?

.

On the morning of that fearful day, Lot, tried to warn his sons-in-law to flee from the wrath to come!

But his sons-in-law didn’t believe him!

They thought he was just joking!

Listen… “And Lot went out,

for the LORD will destroy this city.

But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.”

Yes, maybe Lot was the type who enjoyed a good gag, previous to this solemn moment!

After all, why else would his sons-in-law conclude his was merely joking?

Well, we’ll just have to ask Lot, when we meet up with him someday, what exactly did happen on that frightful morning.

FOOLISH TALK & JESTING

Now, the Bible does not promote being a joker or a jester!

Quite the opposite!

Listen… “Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting,

which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks…

Let no man deceive you with vain words:

for because of these things cometh the wrath of God

upon the children of disobedience.”

Ephesians 5:3, 4, 6

Combine this above passage with the following passage from the same epistle…

“Wherein in time past ye walked

according to the course of this world,

according to the prince of the power of the air,

the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

Ephesians 2:2

Can you see the common thread between these two above passages?

Now that bit of information should make us think twice about imitating this joking and jesting world!

NOT IGNORANT OF SATAN’S DEVICES!

Now, the Bible says… “Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.” 2nd Corinthians 2:11.

No, as this above verse reveals, we are not ignorant of Satan’s devices!

Satan is not just sitting on the sidelines, as some suppose: merely observing the goings-on of Mankind.

Nor does Satan take time off, so he can go on vacations!

Rather, Satan is a 24/7/365 warrior, seeking to deceive and destroy both Christians and their children, too!

No unconverted human being is beyond Satan’s reach!

And just as he used unconverted Peter, he too will use you or me, if he possibly can!

And we must not allow ourselves to be ignorant of Satan’s devices, as he glorifies his own selfish kingdom, by such creations!

The comedians who instantly improvise some funny joke, and makes us howl with laughter at sin and make light of this world of sin.

We hear all that beautiful music, and our hearts are further entwined to this world!

.

The storytellers weave their intriguing tales, making this selfish world appear so inviting, and even magical, at times!

The inventors “discover” some new invention, and we and our children become willing slaves to these electronic devices!

.

No, they are merely being used by “the god of this world”, the Devil, as he weaves his world-wide spider web of deception and seductive entrapments, casting us into his prison-house of sin and selfishness!

SOME VERY GOOD NEWS!

Now there is some very Good News in the midst of all this bad news!

Yes, if we have been used by Satan in the past, there is much hope for the future!

.

The Lord can turn our failure into victory and transform our life of sin into our testimony of God’s love and mercy!

.

And God can deliver us from such overpowering habits, such as this pleasure of the mind called “joking”, “jesting”, or a “sense of humor”.

.

Oh yes, it may take much resistance to finally get Satan to cease from whispering these jests in our ears! 

.

But we have a commission to warn the world of the coming Day of God!

.

And only a loving, Christlike character will allow Christ to work in us and through us, to sound the trumpet, that the great Day of God has finally arrived!

On a Thursday morning, the residents of Paradise California woke up to perhaps one of the rudest awakenings in modern history…

…as the alarm of fire sounded, causing a frantic scrambling to escape for their very lives through raging killer flames!

The beautiful little forest community was all but destroyed, causing nearly 100 tragic deaths!

Nearly 20,000 buildings destroyed!

Almost the entire town now lay desolate!

PARADISE LOST

This obvious analogy between Paradise California and Milton’s infamous book, Paradise Lost, has not escaped the notice of the public.

And the horrific and tragic fire which destroyed almost the entire community of Paradise has been described as “apocalyptic” in nature, as it was so unbelievable, that it took the collective breath away from the horrified, onlooking public!

GLOBAL WARMING?

There has been an alarm sounding for several decades now, concerning global warming.

.

Day and night, the media has been warning the world that our technology and industry has created an increase in global temperature.

.

IS THE PLANET WARMING, COOLING…OR BOTH?

.

Well, of course, there is an ongoing debate as to whether or not the globe has been going through a number of years of global cooling now.

.

Certainly, in some areas of our land, there has been severe drought for a number of years.

.

So, instead of calling it “Global Warming”, they now call it “Climate Change”, which encapsulates cold spells as well as hot spells, allowing much leeway and shelter for defenders of this theory.

.

But just how significant the role that technology and industry plays in affecting the climate has also been part of the current ongoing debate.

.

But perhaps it’s true. Yes, maybe our powerful high-tech/industrial world does indeed affect the climate to some degree.

.

But the truth is, nobody actually knows for certain (even though many claim they know for sure).

.

CLIMATE CHANGE IN CENTURIES PAST

.

However, the fact is, regional drought and even warming is nothing new.

.

Yes, throughout history there has been warming in certain areas.

.

For instance, during the warming of one particular part of the globe, long extinct ancient villages and remnants of ancient forests have been exposed from the receding glacier ice in those areas.

.

Also, the Bible reveals that much of the Middle East was once very lush, tropical forests and meadows, such as ancient Israel.

.

And the ancient city-state of Babylon was probably another area which was once very lush and green during its early days, before it finally became a barren desert as it is, even now. 

.

“He turneth…a…fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.”

.

But just what was the source of that global warming back in those days? After all, there was no industrial technology back in those past millenniums.

.

Well, the Bible reveals one very important truth about climate change in Psalm 107:33, 34…

“He (God) turns rivers into a wilderness,

and the water-springs into dry ground;

A fruitful land into barrenness,

for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.”

.

Here we realize that it is God who sometimes punishes a culture’s immorality by turning its luscious greenery into dry desert.

.

It’s just very sad that this current-day atheistic culture no longer understands nor assents to these proven Bible truths, unlike many of the western culture’s Christian forefathers, who fully believed these truths!

.

“He turns…dry ground into water-springs.”

.

Furthermore, should a society return from its licentious and/or its unjust/violent ways, God can certainly reverse that judgment…

.

Listen again to this same Psalm 107…

“He turneth the wilderness into a standing water,

and dry ground into water-springs.

And there He maks the hungry to dwell,

that they may prepare a city for habitation;

And sow the fields, and plant vineyards,

which may yield fruits of increase.”

Psalm 107:35, 36

.

And so, whatever the reason for our current global warming (or “global cooling”, as many other meteorologists insist) which is now occurring, God can easily bless a nation which returns in full and true repentance back to Heaven’s ways!

.

As the above Psalm 107 affirms, God can easily turn, “the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into water-springs.”

.

The great question which must be answered is simply this: “Are we willing to turn to Him for help? Will this unbelieving and antichrist society ever return back from our rebellion against Heaven?”

.

A PARADISE LOST WORLD?

Perhaps you might say, we live in the true “Paradise Lost”, fallen world.

And the people of that little California community are no more wicked than the rest of us sinners!

But their horrible tragedy is perhaps just a small foretaste of the pandemic judgment “reserved unto fire”, kept in-store for all of us in the near future.

LOOSING THE BANDS OF ORION

God spoke several times of Orion, in Scripture.

His question to Job was a very mystifying question, to say the least… “Canst thou…loose the bands of Orion?” Job 38:31.

Such a strange question, indeed!

How could a constellation have its bands loosed, much less, even have bands? Puzzling, puzzling!

But now, He is revealing this bright and beautiful constellation in a way that has never before been seen.

God Himself is loosing Orion’s bands, as He is just now unraveling this age-old mystery.

And we are beginning to understand that this most infamous of all constellations is nothing less than a remarkable metaphor concerning Jesus.

THE 5 OFFICES OF ORION
