“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever:

General consensus is, that this above passage from Revelation 13 concerns the torment of all the unsaved of the world beginning in the very last moments of time, and continuing onward, throughout all eternity future!
And yet, if the Bible student digs much deeper, it is discovered that God has no desire to needlessly torment lost souls throughout eternity…
“But though He cause grief,
yet will He have compassion according to the multitude of His mercies…
Let us search and try our ways,
and turn again to the LORD.”
Lamentations 3:31-34, 40, 41
.
Here is seen that God afflicts the children of men for the purpose of turning us away from our sin and returning back to God and to His everlasting ways.
You see, the Bible reveals that each genuine Believer has two opposing forces within: “The Old Man of Sin”, and the “New Man”, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness” Ephesians 4:22-24
.
And so, when a man or woman turns to the Lord for Salvation, the work of sanctification has just begun!
And God sits as a purifier of gold and silver, to purify the hearts of His people.
.
And even as gold and silver are purified by fire, so too, each Christian must be cast into the “furnace of affliction” for the purpose of heart-purification. Isaiah 48:10
Now of course, this is not currently the interpretation embraced by the so-called “orthodoxy” of the church-world.
.
They see God as a heartless tyrant to all rejecters of His grace!
And they believe that God and His angels will continually watch the billions of unsaved multitudes roasting in fire throughout the ions of time and eternity!
.
Oh no, they don’t come right out and say that God is “merciless”.
But this is what they are selling to the public, by their misunderstanding of what the Bible says about the true nature of Hell.
But listen to the fire and brimstone which Isaiah speaks of…
“For Tophet is ordained of old;
yea, for the king it is prepared;
He hath made it deep and large:
the pile thereof is fire and much wood;
the breath of the LORD, like a stream of brimstone, doth kindle it.”
Isaiah 30:33

Here is revealed that the fire of Hell (Tophet) is not a literal fire, but is actually a spiritual fire, kindled by the breath of God, “like a stream of Brimstone”!
So, just what kinds of afflictions do Believers go through, for the crucifixion of the selfish Old Man within?

Well, for instance, listen to this passage from Proverbs 14:14…“The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways:”

Here is a tiny verse which reveals a giant concept!
.
It is akin to this next verse from the same Book of Proverbs…“The blueness of a wound cleanseth away evil: so do stripes (whippings) the inward parts of the belly.” Proverbs 20:30
.
These two verses from Proverbs reveal that those of us who have iniquity in our hearts may be subjected to having our noses rubbed in our own dung, so to speak.

GLUTTONY

Yes, God looks upon the heart of a man, and sees that wickedness is found there, which must be purged out.

For instance, those of us who are plagued by the sin of gluttony will often have to repeatedly suffer the torment of overeating.

And so, day and night, the smoke of this torment causes us to fall to our knees in prayer and pleading for deliverance from such affliction which continually plagues us!
“So am I made to possess months of vanity, and wearisome nights are appointed to me.” Job 7:3
.
And those of us who have been cast into the miry pit of our fleshly sins, fully understand how Satan uses these painful months of affliction to discourage us, to make us doubt, and to cause us to murmur against God…
“God, why aren’t You helping me!?
Why don’t You deliver me from this sin!?
Why are You allowing Satan so much leeway in my life!?”
.
And God looks down on us with great sympathy because of our sufferings, knowing that these afflictions are necessary for the crucifixion of that Old Man of the flesh.
Well, it’s too bad that time doesn’t permit a full exploration of this subject.
But perhaps it can be continued in a future devotional.

But let it suffice to be said, that those of us who are now suffering the torment of remaining in the miry pit of our fleshly sins, will not be forever tormented.
.
But, “after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.” 1st Peter 5:10
The very wonderful Good News is that our present sufferings will not last forever!
.
No, one day soon God is going to create a New Heavens and a New Earth!
.
And all the former things, such as suffering, sorrow, pain, tears and death, will be forever vanquished out of existence! (see Revelation 21:4)
.
And instead, the entire universe will then become a place of peace, and joy, and rest, and purity, and love.
.
And throughout all the lush green eternal valleys and hills will be heard the echoes of innocent laughter, and singing, and freedom bells ringing in the total and final victory over sin.

And we will be forever young!
And no more will there be a place of suffering and torment!

And this Promised Land will continue on for ever, and ever…Amen!

Yes, the day finally came in which things had devolved into such sad and horrible decadence, that God’s wrath was finally ready to be poured upon the four cities of Sodom!

And God was warning His people to “look not behind thee…escape to the mountain…lest thou be consumed!” Genesis 19:17
The answer to this very reasonable question is because we have reached the end.

Yes, this Titanic world has finally struck its proverbial iceberg, and is now filling up with icy-cold water!

Yes, whatever analogy one wishes to use, whether to “Get Out Of Dodge!”, or to “Flee Out Of Sodom To The Mountain”, or to simply “Jump Ship!”, the bottom line comes out the same: this world is about to end!

And so, this website has dedicated itself to literally give its readers the warning from Heaven, “Let him that readeth, RUN!” (paraphrase of Habakkuk 2:2)
And so, this website feels the necessity, yea, even the urgency to sound and resound the clarion trumpet-call in stark warning!

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then they could all laugh and mock “the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the peoples of this world, by merely chortling…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!“
But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a great number of things!

After all, Ephesians 2:2 presents a truth which practically nobody realizes or accepts! It is perhaps the most egregious truth in all of the Bible!

And this verse from Ephesians reveals that Satan is indeed… “theprince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”

And let’s face it! The idea that the entire world’s inhabitants are filled with this antichrist spirit is more than anybody is willing to accept, much less even admit!
Oh yes, it would be much more pleasant to only read nice, innocuous, and euphemistic devotionals, like so many other devotionals out there today.

Unfortunately, with all the many devotionals being published today, the great apostasy in the church-world has not been the least bit abated, but only continues to worsen!

The fact is, it is only by applying the unvarnished and often unpleasant truth about this very dangerously deceptive world, that Christians might become adequately alarmed!

Oh, that we lukewarm Christians would only apply the Bible’s spiritual eye-salve, that we might begin to see the terrible reality, that we are surrounded by evil angels on every hand!
During the Dark Ages, Christians knew that they were surrounded by evil angels, working in and through the people of the world.

Yes, the animosity and even the persecution of God’s people was so great and so prevalent, it was hard to deny that they were surrounded by Satan’s visible and invisible armies!

But in these last moments of time, this society has traded in their pitchforks for meat-forks, and their spears for spatulas.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads.”

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7 and 10 numbering.
.
And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
Have you noticed that we humans always seem to have one or more positive traits of character which, well, just seem to be a type of “badge of honor”for us?

Well, the Pharisees of old had their own badge of honor.
.
Yes, it was their morality, prosperity, position, and cleanliness.
.
This made them feel as though they were just a bit more righteous than, “the great unwashed!”
And let’s face it! Cleanliness, position, prosperity, and morality are perhaps the most common “badges of honor” even to this current day.

And especially in the most prosperous nations, a great number of people live in this self-deception that they are more righteous than others, because of their prosperity and position; or because they are very moral; or because they are very neat and clean.
The Good News is that there exists a true goodness!
.
And this true goodness is now being offered to each and every member of the human race!
.
Yes, the gift of Salvation is now available to any and every willing recipient who begins to follow Jesus by faith on an upward, Heavenward journey to the Celestial City of God!
.
And instead of a mere outward display of moral behavior, Jesus can come and live out His life through each and every Heaven-bound pilgrim, as he or she walks that narrow pathway (comprised of every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God!)
Do you see a man with a very long pointed nose? (Obviously, the sketch to the right is just an exaggeration in order to help you find the face in the photo to the left.)

Do you see an angry look? His right eyebrow is raised as if he is judging.
.
This second face in the Moon appears to be that of a combination of a man as well as a fox.
.
Or maybe a wolf. Doesn’t he have a long narrow nose like a wolf or fox?

Maybe even a dog.
.
Nevertheless, the expression on his face, as he appears to look down upon the Earth, is that of scorn.
.
Unlike the first Moon-man’s sad shock and awe; this ‘man/fox/wolf/dog’ appears to be that of anger and scorn.
The Bible pronounces a curse upon all those who refuse to,“Come out of Her (Babylon) My people!” Revelation 18:4

This New Testament reference to Babylon actually concerns our captivity in the apostate church-world, as this website has painstakingly attempted to make that spiritual connection.
Well, it should make any of us very uncomfortable to criticize anyone else, especially when most of us are likewise guilty of the same sins!

Yes, those of us who have behaved in the same way need to hang our heads in shame too!

We’re all in the same boat!

Because, let’s face it! Neither Jesus, nor Paul, nor John, nor Peter, nor any other New Testament role-models ever engaged in such silly behavior, according to Scripture.

And truth-be-told, to mingle the great commission of warning the world “to flee from the wrath to come”, with jokes and quips and foolish talk greatly sets our audience at ease!

And such foolishness lessens the utmost seriousness and solemnity of the moment, when hearts are deciding for or against Salvation!

And as Paul warned…
…”But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness,
let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, NOR FOOLISH TALK, NOR JESTING…”
Well, the Good News in all this is, that it’s still the Day of Salvation!

And all those who truly desire to “come out of her (Babylon) My people”, can cry and plead for Jesus to come and cleanse his or her compromised and polluted heart!
.
And all those who escape out of Babylon, will joyfully join the end-time spiritual exodus away from this Babylonish world!
.
And these Heaven-bound pilgrims will be delighted to discover that the love, joy and peace that Heaven offers is of far greater value than any earthly treasure or trinket that we might have to forsake to become disciples of Jesus!
And yet, the fact is, mainstream Christianity has just as many false doctrines, placing them in the very same category as those they scorn: a false gospel, howbeit, a very large false gospel!
Now of course, mainstream Christianity is correct in their accusations against those false gospels.

Yes, a certain radio talk show host was criticizing the so-called “cults” for subscribing only to the verses which seem to prove their false doctrines, while at the same time, ignoring other verses which disprove those same false doctrines.
.
And this talk show host was indeed correct.
.
Anyone can manufacture just about any false doctrine they wish to, by merely lifting certain verses out of the context of the Bible in its entirety.
“For example”, this talk show host remarked to his caller, “there are certain verses which seem to suggest that Christ was a created personage, instead of being the eternal Son of God.”
.
“But to do this”, he went on, “these false gospels must simply ignore or explain away such passages as Hebrews 1:8…’But unto the Son He saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever…”
.
And then, he correctly concluded by saying, “This is just one of many verses which only confirms that Christ was and is the eternal Son of God.”
“O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths”
Isaiah 3:12
.
Well, you get the point. As this talk show host correctly illustrated, there’s a whole lot of this kind of bad theology going on in those false gospels.
.
And yet, this same talk show host doesn’t realize that mainstream Christianity does exactly the same thing!
.
Yes, there are a number of cherished doctrines in the so-called “orthodox” churches which are based on certain verses, while excluding others.
.
Listen…“O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths” Isaiah 3:12
.
This verse from Isaiah warns God’s people to not put their confidence in their mainstream evangelical leaders, since this end-times apostasy goes far beyond those little cults over there!
One great error in the mainstream church-world is the grievous heresy referred to as “Eternal Torment”.
.
Again, if one takes the Parable of the Rich Man & Lazarus, along with some other passages, it is easy to assume that God indeed endlessly torments all rejectors of His grace in some netherworld chasm.
.
And yet, this long-held heresy was formulated by ignoring so many passages, such as this one from the Book of Job…
…”Why died I not from the womb?
why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?…
For now should I have lain still and been quiet,
I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
With kings and counsellors of the earth…Or with princes…
There the wicked cease from troubling;
and there the weary be at rest.
There the prisoners rest together;
they hear not the voice of the oppressor.
The small and great are there;
and the servant is free from his master.”
Job 3:11, 13-15, 17-19
.
Now if Eternal Torment was the fate of all rejectors of God’s grace, then Job would have never made this statement; nor would he have wished to be dead, only to suffer “Eternal Torment”!
.
This whole notion that God has erected some netherworld torture chamber is so utterly ridiculous that it’s hard to believe that theologians still cling to it!
But these are just two examples of many other false doctrines borne out of the “cherry-picking” of certain verses, removing them from the context of the Bible in its entirety.

And this is just one more reason why God is now calling His people to…
…”Come out of her (Babylon, the City of Confusion),
“BREAD SHALL BE GIVEN HIM; HIS WATERS SHALL BE SURE!”
Isaiah 33:16
.
We should not expect that the apostate churches and denominations are ever going to repent of these errors.
They are the chaff which must be driven away by the winds of false doctrines!

God has provided abundant Waters of grace and life-giving heavenly Bread upon the high (spiritual) mountains of our refuge in these last moments prior to His return!

God originally created this world to be a beautiful home for Mankind.

Yet, when we fell from grace, this world began to change in many ways.
.
Nature, to a great extent, began to take on some changes.
.
Many creatures and plants, etc., gradually took on different aspects, eventually becoming dangerous to other animals, and some even dangerous to people.
One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!
.
The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment!
.
As a matter of fact, whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it mostly changes into the same color and shape, of that undersea object!
Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner working of the kingdom of Satan.
(As this little 26-second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)
.
Certainly, Satan and his unseen minions also love to make themselves invisible, and then, mesmerize their prey with the allurements of sin,rendering them helpless and hopeless victims!

And this is how they work their misery and woe upon this unsuspecting world, without its inhabitants becoming alarmed, whichwould cause us to rebel against Satan’s invisible kingdom, as we would flee to God!

A “FEEL-GOOD” MOVIE

Now, back in the 1960’s, a wacky comedy was created, which became a big hit movie on the “silver screens” around the world…“It’s a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World!”

Well, this carefree comedy was a great way of escaping the oft-grim realities of this truly, “Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World”, for several hours!

And in this respect, that “feel-good” Hollywood movie makes a somewhat appropriate introduction to today’s devotional…
“THEY (FALSE PROPHETS)…SAYING ‘PEACE, PEACE’, WHEN THERE IS NO PEACE”
Jeremiah 8:10

But don’t be fooled O Stranger & Pilgrim!
.
Much of this smiley-faced gladness is just an integral part of Satan’s warfare against Heaven!
.
After all, if Satan can make his kingdom seem more appealing than Christ’s kingdom, then, this gives him a great and deceptive advantage, leading to eventual victory!
BEWARE O CHRISTIAN, YOU ARE STANDING ON ENCHANTED GROUND!

As a matter of fact, if “the god of this world” were to withdraw all of his deceptive “Cuttlefish goodness”, the people of the world would transform into abject wickedness, and Christians would be quickly exterminated!
(Oh yes, they probably would be tortured first, as was sometimes done to them through the Dark Ages in Europe).

So, this devotional is a warning for Christians to get themselves ready for the moment when this world takes on its true “Cuttlefish” wickedness and comes at Christians with all the venomous hatred that Satan truly has for us!

It appears that, no matter which way a Christian might turn, there are preachers preaching with all the boldness and confidence of that great Apostle, Paul!

The problem is, they are mostly preaching many different things from each other!
.
You could possibly say, that if Christendom were an ice cream parlor, you would have to call it something like “The 1,001 Flavors Gospel Ice Cream Parlor”!
.
Oh yes, a person can choose just about any flavor of the Gospel that tickles his (or Her) fancy!
“Give me a scoop of ‘Hip & Trendy’, please”
“And I’ll take some ‘Heart-tugging Humanitarianism’, too!”
“But don’t give me any ‘Old Fashioned”, please! I tasted it as a kid when my parents gave it to me, and it’s just too bland!”
So how does one discern what is true and what is just a “look-alike” gospel?
.
Because let’s face it! The counterfeits which are blowing in the wind today are quite often so close to the truth, that it’s extremely difficult to discern the true from the false!
But the great problem is, that many of these so-called gospels mingle a whole lot of Bible into their preaching!
.
Well, Satan is not as dumb as he would like us to suppose!
.
Everyone knows that mice will not take the poison unless it’s mingled with lots and lots of oatmeal.
.
Oh yes, it’s true that Satan has raised up some really poor counterfeit gospels.
.
But even those bad ones only make the really clever counterfeits look that much more convincing!
.

SOME WARNING SIGNS
.
So here are some questions to ask yourself, concerning any particular ministry in question:
.
Does that ministry constantly encourage to study, study, study the Bible? (see Psalms 119:97)
.
Does that ministry add to the Bible, further revelations, such as dreams, and visions, and voices? (see Revelation 22:18)
.
Does it appear as if that ministry encourages, either by word or by example, the seeking after the cares and pleasures of this world?
.
Do the followers seem to worship one day per week, followed by six days of going headlong after the pleasures and treasures of this life?
.
Or does that ministry try hard to keep from mingling fashion, trendiness, entertainment, “hip-talk”, comedy, ethnic, programs, non-biblical holidays, or any other earthy, non-Christ-like additions into their presentations? (See Ephesians. 5:3, 4)
.
And is the focus of that ministry on becoming Christ-like in every way?
.
Or do they rather focus on other things, instead of focusing on Christ, and our overcoming the world? (see 1st John 3:3)
.
Well, perhaps there are more biblical “acid-tests” that one could apply to some of these modern-day gospels which are currently blowing in the wind.
.
The important thing is to not let any one of these false gospels turn you away from “sola-scriptura truth”!
And instead of studying all the counterfeits, we need to study the true!
.
Because most everybody knows, it is by being thoroughly familiar with the real thing, that one can easily spot the counterfeit!
.
And so, let’s get to know the Bible!
.
It is only by having a very good knowledge of the Bible, that any of us can expect to get through the troublous and confusing days we’re now entering into!

…will actually be very possible!

Because, if those two singers did indeed begin to trust in the Savior, then they will joyfully rise one day to live forever in a wonderful and joyful place called, The Promised Land.

Yes, even though there is a river far too wide for anyone to cross, yet the Savior is very willing to carry us across, if only we will begin to place our life in His hands!
This is perhaps one of the most amazing constellations that God has created!

It truly looks like a flower, and appears to be blowing in the direction of westward.

But as autumn draws near, this constellation appears to bow itself down, just like the flowers of Earth bow down, at the summer’s end.

And these are not merely obscure stars!

No! These are among the biggest and brightest stars in the night heavens!

The Two Turtle-Doves Constellation is also known as Sagittarius .

The Flower of the Field is commonly known as Scorpio.

But there is another obvious aspect to this constellation group.

This grass blade is made of the two highest stars of the Lupus Constellation, and the two lowest stars of the Libra Constellation.

Yes, all too often, those of us who consider ourselves to be “Christian”, are engaging in the work of that old “accuser of our brethren”, “the god of this world”, Satan.

And let’s face it! Satan is a polished professional at his evil craft!

But we can always find some nice thing to say about others.

Yes, human life is like the grass, and our beauty is like the fading flower of the field.

In yesterday’s devotional (click here), it was revealed that we have now entered into the beginning of Judgment Day.

And the Lord is allowing the world’s inhabitants to witness much of the sin, filth and atrocities which have been covered up for much too long!

Oh yes, our society has become rather sterilized in many respects.

We’re a very neat and clean and moral society to a great extent, at least outwardly we are.

But through the various high-tech innovations, it is now possible to behold much more of the filth, selfishness, and atrocities which have been occurring around the world, currently, but even in the ages-past!
“The heart is desperately wicked, and deceitful above all things; who can know it?”

But today’s devotional will turn to a more personal level in which God is allowing us to behold the wickedness of this Devil’s-Island-world we live in.

Yes, the earth’s inhabitants are mired in a muddy slough of wickedness.

And even on a personal level, we’re drowning in sin and sorrow.

Especially those in good health are enjoying the pleasures of sin and selfishness, unaware or unconcerned of their impending judgment!

And there is an exterior veneer of morality in our society, which only makes it more difficult to discern the total depravity of the human heart.

To a great degree, the western nations have been living in a bubble for decades.

In other words, our present-day society has become extremely sterilized compared to various societies in centuries past.

That is, so much of the wickedness and filth of this Devil’s-Island-planet have been neatly scrubbed, so that we don’t notice just how bad things really are.
We turn on the morning TV talk shows and see handsome and well-dressed personalities making jokes and engaging us in light and upbeat conversation.
.
And we drive down our nice streets and through our neighborhoods, oblivious to so much of the filth and decrepit conditions in other places.
.
Our garbage is neatly removed each week.
.
And our kids attend their nice schools.
We have beautiful hospitals for the sick, and ivy-covered campuses for the young.
.
Oh yes, we may hear an occasional siren outside, racing down the street, but that’s all we usually know about some neighborhood crisis.
.
And we go to our church each week, filled with nicely dressed and well-behaved people sitting there, all to hear an entertaining prosperity-driven sermon salted with well-timed little quips and jests.
.
And we wash and vacuum our shiny cars, boats, and sometimes even their planes.
.
And we love all the beautifully lighted cities with their tall, grand buildings!
.
We look great in our recently purchased pre-made clothes!
.
Yes, to a great degree, this world has been given a glossy veneered exterior in these last days!
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold!”

But of course, all this sterilization and beautification of society is intermingled with the brutal reality that this planet is indeed a world of sin and sorrow!
.
As a matter of fact, this world is literally drenched in sin and sorrow, if we really think about it!
Just count all the murders, rapes, arguments, arrogance, tears, and suffering which get daily airplay on these devices.

Yes, like never before, we have the ability to witness so many atrocities around the world, via the high-tech innovations now available at the mere push of a button.

FIVE WISE VIRGINS STARS
.
This constellation was identified on May 22nd, 2014. It is simply five stars, two from the Serpens Constellation, and three from the Hercules Constellation.

What gives this constellation impetus and significance is that it appears as five evenly positioned stars, in a slight oval pattern, as if they were sitting in a meeting, listening, or perhaps watching someone.
.
Second, they appear to be gathered in front of The Crown of Revelation 12 Constellation. (just below Corona Borealis in this Wikipedia star-chart, in which the editor of this site sketched in these two constellations)
The position of these stars is significant in a number of ways. The first, being that these Five Wise Virgins are gathered around the 12-star Crown of Revelation 12.

And the obvious message here is, that these wise virgins represent the faithful portion of God’s Church.
.
And as wise virgins, they understand the importance of winning the glorious crown of victory, which Jesus promised.
.
Listen…“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all,
but one receiveth the prize?
So run, that ye may obtain.
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things.
Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown;
but we an incorruptible.”
1st Corinthians 9:24, 25.

And so, God is showing us the difference between the wise and the foolish in His Church.

While the wise are gathered around this crown of victory, the foolish are nowhere to be found.

Back in the 1970’s, a certain saying was popularized…“The Devil made me do it! The Devil made me do it!”

And this was merely mocking Christians, who were seemingly obsessed with pointing the finger at the Devil.

Then they could all laugh and mock “the silly and absurd notion” that Satan is a very active and powerful force controlling the peoples of this world, by mockingly saying…“The Devil made me do it!”
But the horrifying fact is, the Devil does indeed cause the vast percentage of the world’s inhabitants to do a whole lot of things!
.
After all, Ephesians, Chapter 2 reveals a truth that practically nobody realizes or accepts! It is perhaps the most egregious truth in all of the Bible!
.
And this verse is, “…the prince of the power ofthe air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
Well, obviously, the whole unthinkable situation could only be the evil work of that arch-deceiver, Satan!
.
And these two parents are no more Christian than even abject atheists are Christians!
.
But rather, these poor people have been raised up by Satan to become religious fanatics for the express purpose of giving Christianity just another “black eye”!

But why would Satan commit such a heinous act in the name of Jesus?

Again, the obvious answer is that Satan has scored a huge victory here!
.
Oh yes, Satan has always exulted whenever he could give Christianity a bad reputation in some way.
But this incredible story becomes an even more damaging situation because the children were considered to be homeschoolers.

Yes, in a society in which homeschooling is already looked down upon with a suspicious eye by the government, this horrific incident only makes matters worse!
It appears that Satan is now “on the march”, as the saying goes!

Yes, it would seem as if God is now permitting Satan to fulfill the prophecy found in Revelation 13:15-17…
.
Here is rather veiled, and difficult language concerning Antichrist Beast and his image which speaks.

But to put all this in the simplest terms, it merely speaks of the day when Satan has been allowed to make life nearly impossible for Christians!

CHRISTIAN LIBERTY SOON REMOVED

And this incident (along with many similar occurrences), is just one more nail in the coffin of Christian freedom!

Yes, the walls seem to be rapidly closing in on the Christian community…

…at least, it is for dedicated Christians who care enough and have the ability to homeschool their children.

But for the vast majority of Christians, this sad story shouldn’t affect them very much, since most Christians already have their children enrolled in public schooling.

But those few dedicated Christians who now home-school their children, in the near future it might just become increasingly difficult to continue to educate their children at home.
But stepping back and looking at the bigger picture, we understand that Satan is so very jealous for his kingdom of darkness!

This hate-filled tyrant cannot stand to see Christians living “off the grid”, as far as having their children educated outside of public schooling.

Even most private Christian schools have become so mired down with government regulations, that they are just a little better than public schooling.

Yes, there has developed a world-loving spirit in today’s church-world, which manifests itself in many or perhaps most church-operated schools.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).

So, we have this 7/10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

The ancient Babylonian/pagan cultures had some traditional beliefs and celebrations which have found their way into the Christian churches…

…Christmas, Easter, the Trinity, and many other traditions and false teachings which the world, and the worldly church still largely embrace.

Alexander Hislop’s much-maligned book, “The Two Babylons”, gives an in-depth account of many of the various similarities between Babylon and the Christian Church.
One similarity, which many, today, overlook, is that Hell is an endless underworld in which all rejecters of God’s grace will spend eternity suffering for their sins.

And to this day, almost the entire Christian community embraces and teaches this ancient Babylonian version of Hell, to the extent that they believe it to be a netherworld den of conscious existence.

And truth-be-told, God gave the Church “enough rope to hang themselves”, as the old saying goes.

Yes, God has written the Bible so that if anyone takes certain verses out of context, wrong interpretations will inevitably occur.

In other words, the apostate churches over the centuries, took a number of verses out of context to prop up this Babylonian view of Hell (and other ancient pagan cultures) as being a place of everlasting torment and suffering.

“IN THAT VERY DAY, HIS THOUGHTS PERISH!”

Yes, God wrote the Bible in such a way that unsanctified minds could be used by their Master (Lucifer, the fallen rebel angel), to come up with many false doctrines.

And Eternal Torment is just another example of taking certain verses out of the context of the Bible in its entirety, and making those certain verses the sum total of their church-doctrine.

And then, they ignore those many other passages which reveal death to be an unconscious state of nothingness, such as this passage…
“His breath goeth forth,
he returneth to his earth;
in that very day his thoughts perish.”
Psalm 146:4.
Yes, this and many other similar passages present a completely opposite version of Hell than ancient pagan cultures embraced! (see also Job, Chapter 3, click here)
Now there are too many articles already devoted to the various verses which prove this to be just another false doctrine by the fallen churches and denominations.

Waves are used in Scripture to represent both good as well as bad things.

Thus, the Parable of the self-abasing Publican and the self-exalting Pharisee is a very revealing contrast between those who are humble and those who are arrogant.

…that a person’s wealth is the gift of God,

From listening to your show’s on-going debates with Christians and church-doctrine enthusiasts, it seems as if you might not be too far away from the Kingdom of God.

Because when people put up such a strong defense against those with an opposing opinion, it almost seems as if they are secretly fearful that they might actually begin to agree with that “adversary’s” point of view.
.
And so, instead of dispassionately examining both sides of any issue, these nervous ones might begin to defensively mock, insult, curse, and do whatever else they can to decimate their “adversary’s” opposing point of view, as quickly as possible.
.
Yes, as people fortify their arguments with anger, cutting jokes, or even curse words, it almost appears as if they are attempting to strengthen their own shell of resistance against the Truth that just won’t let them go: Truth that so often keeps tugging at their heartstrings.
Of course, nobody but God knows your heart, so all this is mere conjecture as far as you personally are concerned.

Nevertheless, you mentioned on one show that the word, “faith” was some sort of sacrosanct name, which, whenever mentioned in a conversation, people just seem to always bow down and “roll over”, as if in reverent acceptance.

Well, these weren’t your exact words, but this was the gist of your comment regarding “faith”.
.
Perhaps that word, “faith” often frightens many people.
.
I remember in my early twenties (my atheist years), that such spiritual terms as “faith” scared me too, because I was afraid of being swept away into some sort of weird spiritual, almost trance-like existence (which I believed serious-minded Christian people to be caught up into).
.
I saw that very same phenomenon happened to several high school buddies, and I really didn’t want it happening to me!
.
It almost seemed to me like they were on some bad and permanent LSD trip or something!
This is why God wrote the Bible, with so many seemingly ridiculous tales!
.
Yes, the Bible has been purposely written to keep out all those who attempt to come by their own strength and by their own intellect.
.
But when a person does finally cross over (by faith) into that spiritual realm, their spiritual eyes become opened, and they begin to see the Truth for the very first time!
.
Then all those seemingly impossible stories and “ridiculously absurd” laws now begin to shine with great spiritual truth and with wonderful parabolic significance.
.
Oh yes, all those stories in the Bible were true and historical events.
.
But God miraculously orchestrated them to teach us more about Jesus.
.
But like yourself, I too once thought those stories were all “just a bunch of mindless nonsense”.
.
But once a Believer’s eyes are enlightened (via the power of the Holy Spirit), they now realize that all those Bible stories were actually true, literal and historical events!
.
And they now understand the allegorical nature of those stories, that God miraculously orchestrated them to teach spiritual truths.
And so, people can spend time cursing, and mocking, and ridiculing the Bible.
.
But it must be remembered that God wrote the Bible to be a miraculous Book.
.
It only reveals what’s in every person’s heart.
.
And there are, no doubt, many who pray for you daily that your eyes too, will be opened!
.
And if their prayers for you are answered, then you too will become one of the happiest people on earth, knowing that all this supposed nonsense called “the Bible”, is actually the most wonderful Good News ever given to the lost souls of this hopeless and dying world!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Genesis 1:16).
.
The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.
.
So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world.
.
But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world…
.
…so also, must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion.
.
Listen…“Ye are the light of the world…
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face.

This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord.
.
Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the“Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

Yes, the BBC Pollyanna saw every circumstance in life, good or bad, from a happy and optimistic vantage-point, to the degree of becoming somewhat unrealistic.
And so, while we are not to go through life wearing a lobotomized happy-face.

Nor are we to be jokers and jesters, like the world so often is.
.
But the Good News is, that God has given us the Bible.
.
And as long as we still have time to study that wonderful Book, we can sit daily at the feet of Jesus and learn more and more about Him.
.
And by so-doing, we will be, day-by-day, changed, imperceptibly, into His glorious image, even as by the Spirit of the Lord!
.
And then, as Paul says, we will be like a book, “known and read by all!” 2nd Corinthians 3:2.
.
And as the world reads our “book”, they may behold Jesus in us.
.
And then, instead of merely wanting to be, “happy-go-lucky”, they will realize (by our example), that true inner joy and peace is to be found only in Jesus!
This above passage sings of Mount Zion, in the sides of the North!
.
But if one looks to the Northeast in late Summer and into Fall, there is a constellation which God created to be a heavenly picture of the Heavenly Mount Zion.

And it is commonly known as Cassiopeia.
.
But God has created it to symbolize the true Zion, which is in Heaven.

But in the end, Pollyanna brought joy and happiness into that religiously-oppressed little village.
And so, the question to be asked is this: “So what’s wrong with bringing sunshine into the lives of those who suffer under a dark shroud of depression and despair?”
Yes, is mere earthly happiness and peace with the world God’s chief desire for Mankind?

Let’s examine just what the Wise Man has to say about all this…
…”It is better to go to the house of mourning,
than to go to the house of feasting:
for that is the end of all men;
and the living will lay it to his heart.
Sorrow is better than laughter:
for by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better.
The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning;
but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth.”
Ecclesiastes 7:2-4

Well, this above passage from Solomon seems to be saying just the opposite of what Disneyland’s movie was proclaiming!

Yes, contrary to the general consensus, the Bible says it’s better to mourn, better to be sorrowful, and “the heart of the wise is in the house of mourning”.

But the above passage even goes one step further by finishing up with these words…“but the heart of fools is in the house of mirth!”

Well, the fact is, God does indeed want people to be happy!

But He wants us to find true happiness!
.
And this world can never bring true and lasting happiness!
.
Because true and lasting love, joy, peace and contentment are not attainable in this world of confusion!

Yes, let’s be honest! Any joy, any peace, and any contentment will only be short-lived in this world!
.
Because of sickness, death, loss, loneliness, rejection, mistrust, selfishness, dishonesty, lust, and all the other results of sin, humans can only attain to a limited and temporary degree of love, joy, and a peace.
.
Because soon, even the good times will eventually evaporate and return back into sorrow, mourning, pain, grief, despair, loneliness, and other similar woes, commonly experienced by Mankind.
Now does this mean that we Christians should not be joyful, upbeat, and cheerful, etc.?
.
Should we instead go through life all dour and depressed?
.
After all, Aunt Polly’s harsh and judgmental gospel was certainly not the true Gospel, but rather, was just another false, counterfeit gospel, much like the judgmental and self-righteousness of the Pharisees of old!

The 1960 Disneyland version of the movie, Pollyanna, was about a recently orphaned young girl, who came to live with her very harsh and judgmental aunt.
And so, the movie tension was somewhat centered on Pollyanna’s happy, 800-verse judgment-free religion, contrasted against the sour-faced fire-n-brimstone preaching that her overbearing aunt was pushing.

Well, needless to say, each Sunday became the most unhappy day of the week for all the villagers who were forced to endure those harsh and unhappy sermons, which Aunt Polly coerced Reverend Ford into preaching each week.
“NEITHER AS BEING LORDS OVER…BUT…EXAMPLES TO THE FLOCK”
1st Peter 5:3

Now, in this movie, Pollyanna’s infectiously bubbly and upbeat personality began to have a positive impact on the unhappy lives of all those in a little village…
.
…the residents whom long-suffered under the harsh and judgmental “Christian” religion of town’s matriarch, Aunt Polly.
.
But by the end of the movie, the entire town (including Aunt Polly) had thrown off the dark shroud…
.
…the gloomy shroud which had longtime kept this little village in bondage to the doom-n-gloom-fire-n-brimstone preaching of the town’s only religious leader, Reverend Ford.
“FOR THE TIME WILL COME WHEN THEY WILL NOT ENDURE SOUND DOCTRINE;”
2nd Timothy 4:3

Now, this movie (and many similar ones) has undoubtedly had a tremendous impact on the Christian community over the decades.
.
And today’s preachers are usually very hesitant to engage in any so-called “fire-n-brimstone” preaching, as a result of Hollywood’s long-standing crusade against fundamentally biblical Christianity.
.
Even “Christian” movies are usually very careful to avoid any fire-n-brimstone preaching.
On the other hand, the Church has often been guilty in past decades, and even in past centuries, of attempting to scare parishioners, via loud and frightening preaching.
.
And that horrible false-doctrine commonly referred to as, “Eternal Torment”, is still being used at times, to club the parishioners over the head, and to literally, “scare the Hell” out of them!
.
And let’s face it! Many concerned Christian parents have likewise been guilty of sometimes attempting to coerce our children into obedience by various similar means.

“IF THERE BE ANY VIRTUE…THINK ON THESE THINGS!”
.
But having said all this, the Bible, through the Apostle, Paul, commands Christians…
…”whatsoever things are honest,
whatsoever things are just,
whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely,
whatsoever things are of good report;
if there be any virtue,
and if there be any praise,
think on these things.”
Philippians 4:8
.
Yes, one very admirable characteristic of Pollyanna was her cheerfulness as she looked for the good, even in bad circumstances (this was highlighted more lucidly in the 1973 BBC version of the movie).
And Christian parents need to fully realize that we just cannot force our families into Heaven!
.
We must remember that Salvation is the gift of God!
.
And so, society’s growing intolerant hatred of Christianity is actually becoming an assist for Christian parents to exercise greater restraint and even silence, in how we lead our family in a Heavenward direction.
.
Thus, our current-day circumstances are now dictating that we can do little more than to imitate Pollyanna’s cheerfulness in our homes.
.
And in the near future, anything beyond that may be risky for Christian parents.
But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night.
.
The four stars of the front fins are made partially of Taurus.
.
This Dragon constellation appears in the eastern horizon about mid-summer in the pre-dawn hours, spewing his flood-waters northward toward the Woman of Revelation 12 (Woman in Travail).

And such movies as Pollyanna (and there are many similar ones) have been a strong deterrent over the past decades, against any Hell-Fire preaching in today’s pulpits.

Yes, Satan, the true False Prophet, has waged his war on Christianity, via the television and movie industry.
.
And such movies as this have made pastors and churches deathly afraid of being seen as “too harsh and judgmental”!
Now, the last two devotionals (click here)on this theme of Pollyanna have focused on today’s attempts to “accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative” aspects of the true Gospel of the Bible.

And all this in hopes of gaining a wider appeal among the general populace.

.
However, today’s devotional will attempt to focus on Pollyanna’s totally upbeat personality, and how this relates to the Bible, and to the Christian.
Well, the point is that the movie was a purposeful jab against Christianity.
.
At least it was intended to strike a blow at biblical Christianity.
.
And why would this movie (and many similar movies) be considered to be a weapon against Christianity?
.
Very simple! One of Satan’s longstanding attacks on Christians is to portray dedicated Christians as being sour-faced and critical, like Aunt Polly.
.
And isn’t it true that we live in a somewhat fun-loving, joking and an even giddy society?
.
And if that weren’t enough, Satan often compels yet another class of impostors posing as Christians to behave badly, thus reinforcing his accusations.
.
And even sincere Christians are heavily attacked by Satan, who constantly tries to push them into seemingly fanatical extremes, thus strengthening Satan’s argument against Christianity.
“NOW WE HAVE RECEIVED, NOT THE SPIRIT OF THE WORLD, BUT THE SPIRIT…OF GOD”
1st Corinthians 2:12

And this Hollywood hit-piece was just another subtle slam against true and sincere Christians!
.
After all, Pollyanna was more or less a secular-minded individual.
.
Oh yes, she adhered to a quasi-Christian gospel of her own making.
.
But by-and-large, she was pretty much a secularist.
.

“THINK ON THESE THINGS”
.
Now having said all this, let’s not throw out the proverbial, “baby with the bath water”!
.
In other words, Christians would do well to follow Paul’s advice in the following passage…“if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8

Yes, even though Pollyanna was a fictional character.
.
Nevertheless, Christians would do well to think about, and even imitate Pollyanna’s cheerful personality, as much as possible!
Well, the very Good News is that it won’t be long until our trials will all be over!

Yes, and very soon we can cross over that Jordan River, into the Promised Land in which it will be very easy to be light-hearted and joy-filled, even on a 24/7/365 basis!
The Bible also speaks of other signs in the heavens, and it is the purpose of Signs Of Heaven website, to introduce these wonderful signs and to reveal the many Bible passages which explain them.

A somewhat naïve mother was letting her 7-year-old daughter watch a cartoon…
.
…a “coming-of-age” movie, about a young girl who was, “pursuing her dream” to become a famously celebrated dancer.
.
But as this movie progressed, the young girl in the movie just happened to dance her way from the street…
.
…and danced right into a beer tavern, continuing to dance from table-top to table-top, while the customers were singing, laughing, and drinking their pitchers of ale.
.
Well, this was finally too much for the watching mother, causing her to make a somewhat critical comment about that particular movie scene.
.
But that was merely one television show!
.
And many who are familiar with television might remark…“So what’s the big deal about that? There’s a whole lot of worse things seen and heard on TV these days!”
And so, O Reader, just what is an even more evil thing on television, if it isn’t that little children’s cartoon movie, in which the adolescent girl winds up dancing in a tavern?
.
Well, there’s worse things on television, aren’t there?
.
For example, what about all those zombie shows in which the walking-dead attempt to eat humans alive? They’re pretty evil, are they not?
.
Or what about the music shows which often feature vile and vulgar lyrics?
And so, back to our opening scenario regarding the cartoon movie, which the young daughter was watching.
.
Yes, this is the greatest evil that television engages in: to entwine a person’s heart and soul to this deceitfully entangling world!
.
And that little dancing girl with her big dream was, and is, the greatest evil on television!
.
Because Satan, “the god of this world”, is a master at selling dreams to the naïve people of this world.
.
Oh yes, the characters may change from show to show.
.
And the dreams may change from show to show.
.
But this talking idol, called television (“talking image”), has a dream or an idol, or a lust and an earthly desire just tailor-made for you and for me and for everyone else!
.
This is the great evil on television…and…all on such electronic talking-image devices!
Well, the Good News is, that God is calling us to renounce this world of selfish desires, and begin our upward, Heavenward sojourn out of this present world.
.
And He is calling each and every man, woman, and child who is willing to let go of this deceitful world of selfish and proud dreams…
.
…in trade for a world that has no end…
.

And one of the long afore-promised signs is the constellation group known as the Valley of Decision Constellation group.

Now in this very complex constellation group, are two mountains which represent the Mount of Blessing (to the left, and north in the night sky) and the Mount of Cursing (the middle mountain).

And the mountain furthest to the south is the “Babylon…O Destroying Mountain” (see Jeremiah 51:24, 25).

Notice that this BABYLON, THEDESTROYING MOUNTAIN CONSTELLATION has a long line traveling downward, directly into the Revelation 12 Dragon.

And this long line traveling downward is the constellation known as the Broad Way that Leads to Destruction.

This Broad Way is comprised of stars from the Pisces Constellation.
For instance, there are many radio and television personalities who lead naïve listeners into the false notion…

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

In that incredible little book of Daniel is the true account of King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream.

And in that dream was a great image whose head was made of gold, and chest and arms of silver, and loins of brass, legs of iron, and feet and toes of iron mixed with clay.
.
And at the last of that dream, a rock, not cut with hands smote the feet of that image, and caused the entire image to blow away as if made of chaff.
Now the point of this devotional is to focus on the feet and toes of this image, and the rock that smote them, causing the entire image to break into pieces which became as chaff in the wind.
.
But in attempt to keep this all simple, let it be said that this seems to be speaking of how God’s kingdom will finally annihilate Satan’s kingdom.
But these two feet with their ten toes seem to allude to the present condition of Mankind.

Oh yes, the Church is in view here.
.
But as already said, the world seems to bleed through this prophecy.
.
The reason why this seems so relevant today, is that we are now seeing the world being divided into two major camps.
.
Yes, just as this image had a left foot and a right foot, so also, we see two great divisions in the world…
…the so-called “conservatives/capitalists”…
.
…and the “progressives/socialists”.
.
…they even refer to themselves as “The Left” and “The Right”.
.
And even further, just as these two power groups in the world are always at odds, one with another…
.
…so also, these two feet made of iron and clay…“shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.” Daniel 2:43
Okay, so as already stated, this really seems to be speaking of the Church in the last days, and how it has mingled itself with the world.

And the ten toes of this image appear to symbolize both the apostate portion of the Church (The Ten Virgins), as well as The Ten Commandments.

In other words, in Scripture, the number “10” has a symbolic significance, not only representing the Ten Commandments, but also The Ten Virgins, of Matthew 25, symbolizing the Church.

But this also seems to allude to today’s world in which we now are witnessing a pulling apart of various factions in the world.

Yes, there appears to be a widening gap between the various social, political, as well as religious groups, sometimes even becoming hostile one against another.

And today, via the mass media, anyone can view all the bickering and battling going on between these various groups on a daily basis.

Yes, the escalating war between Leftists and the Rightists is especially visible these days.

A KINGDOM DIVIDED

Thus, this entire world is becoming more divided on a daily basis: social groups, gender groups, ethnic groups, political groups, religious groups, and many other groups!

It’s truly a divided world today!

And as Mark 3:24 says…“And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.”

Here in this above passage, Jesus is revealing the grim truth, that this world is ripe for judgment!
And so, it is no coincidence that this rock comes crashing down on the world and breaks this world into pieces right at the time when the people of the world are divided in so many ways.

And as one group rails against, opposes, and debates against the policies of the other group…
.
…a rock comes crashing down to smash into pieces this entire kingdom of selfishness, i.e., the World!
.
And while each group busily attempts to convert the rest of the world into their own particular camp…
.
…this rock seemingly comes out of nowhere and demolishes all the philosophies, all the maxims, and all the various ideologies which this rebellious world has been propagating through the years and even through the long centuries!
And of course, the Good News about all this is that God’s kingdom of unselfish love finally wins in the end!

And all those who desire to be on the winning team are invited to join up with this ever-growing Heavenward throng who are now renouncing this hopeless world!

And all those who are discouraged with this ugly and hopeless world, are encouraged to begin the Heaven-ward sojourn out of this mess…

This “Golden Altar” Constellation is only seen in winter through spring, in mid-sky. It is to the south of the “Fleeing Woman Constellation” (AKA Ursa Major or The Big Dipper).
Realizing that most all of television has little love for Bible truth, how can I possibly allow such god-hating “visitors” to enter into the sanctuary of my home, via TV, radio, Internet, etc.?

So-called “Christian” TV channels are extremely apostate, that even the best of programs are mingled with a world-loving undercurrent!

How long am I going to continue to drink in “Christian” TV’s “soured & tainted milk” of entry-level doctrines mingled with falsehood, instead of moving onward and upward to the “meat of the Word”, as we are commanded?
“I will early destroy all the wicked of the land;”

Yes, God will destroy those who refuse to come out of this Babylonian world (and apostate church).

No, we cannot come totally out of the world.

But we can come a good way out! Put the TV where it belongs!
(But if your spouse still wants to watch TV, then you must only remove YOURSELF from it, while continuing to pray for your family. Never force the consciences of others! However, if your spouse is in agreement, then TV can be eliminated while the children are still young, giving them more godly, alternative forms of entertainment)
“that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.”

The call goes out to every Christian… “Come out of her (spiritual Babylon), My people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”Revelation 18:4.

Those who do not respond to this call to depart from the powerful influences of this high-tech world and high-tech church, will suffer the intense plagues promised here in Revelation 18:4!
Yes, it seems that Psalm 101 has a special message for those of us who are living in this very hour of fearful judgment.

2nd BEAST’S 2 HORNS ALSO THE 6TH & 7TH HEADS OF THE 1ST BEAST

It must be stated that the 2nd Beast of Revelation 13, the False Prophet is also comprised of the 6th & 7th heads of the 1st Beast.

And so, there is only one true Beast, the Antichrist Beast.

And yet, the 2nd Beast was formed after the 1st Beast received his deadly wound by a sword at the end of the Dark Ages (that is, “the sword of the Spirit, the Word of God” {Ephesians 6:14-17}).
And to be sure, this above passage from Revelation 17 which speaks of the 7 heads of the Beast is so ambiguous, that many just throw up their hands in despair when trying to understand it.
But this tiny devotional is not the place to attempt to define what all those allegories are actually pointing to!

And though the Book of Revelation mostly concerns the church-world, it does seem that the world at large often bleeds through those pages.
.
In other words, while this prophecy concerning the 7th head of 1st Beast mostly concerns the church-world, there nevertheless seems to be a direct parallel to what we are now seeing in the secular world.
The reason why this 7th head seems to allude to the world at large is because the number “7” reminds us of the 7th Commandment…“Thou shalt not commit adultery”.

Oh yes, the Bible often speaks of the spiritual adultery within the church-world. Few will dare argue that point.
.
Much to the contrary, most Christians freely admit that today’s church-world is steeped in sin.
But the interesting thing is, while at the same time we see the decadent spiritual condition in the Church, we also behold a literal counterpart occurring simultaneously in the world.

And aren’t we saddened, dismayed and even confounded at how those once-great societies which so lovingly and enthusiastically embraced the Christian Reformation…
.
…that these nations have now devolved into such decadence and licentiousness and false religions?

And don’t we stand in wonderment to behold the moral standards just keep getting lowered on a daily basis?
Well, what’s the point of exposing the sins of unbelievers? After all, they make no profession of loving or serving God.

And to be sure, our sins, when weighed in the balances, are every bit as great as the world’s sins, in the eyes of the Searcher of All Hearts!

On the other hand, this moral pandemic free-fall which is now occurring, should be an alarming wake-up call that we have truly arrived at the end.

And the fact that the 7th head of the beast is the very last head of that Antichrist monster, then it only puts an exclamation mark on just where we are in time! We’ve reached the end.

Yes, sexual immorality was the “last straw” for the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, as far as God was concerned.

So, this little illustration presents a great big truth.

Yes, Jesus was telling the Pharisees this account, so as to illustrate how Satan can take some secular person, and turn him into a much more evil person.

And this story was given to the Pharisees to illustrate their very own condition!

When a person is merely an abject unbeliever, he only has one evil spirit: an unclean spirit at that!

But should that same man become religious, but with no true conversion, then Satan moves back in, bringing seven more religious devils with him (not literally 7 more devils, but spiritually)!

And now, the man was far worse off than when he was merely a worldling!

Now he is a religious man, symbolized by the addition of 7 devils. Oh yes, he is still unconverted!

And so, this is the big point of the number eight. It is 7 + 1. Satan plus his counterfeit religiosity, represented by God’s number of spiritual rest, “7”.

CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!

This amazing creature…“has eight arms, and two tentacles furnished with denticulated suckers, with which they secure their prey.”

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that whatever the Cuttlefish passes over, it instantly begins to change into the same color and shape of that undersea object!

This Dragon Constellation does not have 7 heads and 10 horns and 7 crowns, as this above verse speaks of.

But the wave of water coming out of the Dragon’s mouth has these numbers, 7 and 10, according to the brightness of the stars which comprise the wave of water.

That is, this wave of water has 10 basic stars (#1 thru #10).

But the main body is comprised of 7 stars, leaving three lesser stars at the tip of the wave (#’s 8, 9, 10).

So we have a 7/3 division in the star-count on this wave of water.

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish!

And speaking of living in squalor, what in the world is going on today!?!

Yes, the world seems to be going crazy!

Things are now topsy-turvy!

Good is now being called evil, and evil, good!
.
So, what in the world is going on!?!
.
Well, perhaps this next verse reveals what is going on…“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12
.
Yes, this verse explains a lot!
.
It’s definitely a prophecy concerning today’s current state of affairs! Iniquity certainly is abounding, wouldn’t you agree?
.
And yet, it still doesn’t explain why God is allowing all this pandemonium to occur.
So why is God allowing all the current evil in the world?
.
Listen… “For the wrath of God is revealed from Heaven
against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men,
who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness
through the lusts of their own hearts,
to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:”
Romans 1:18, 24, 25
.
So, here’s the reason why God is letting us have this Helter-Skelter world we currently live in!

But no, this societal collapse will not bring about God’s wrath!
.
As one Christian commentator put it, “This IS God’s wrath!”
.
But God is merely allowing Earth’s inhabitants to have our own way!
.
He has, in essence, “closed the bedroom door”, and is allowing us to live in the world of our own making!

HABAKKUK SAYS “RUN”!

So, what are we to do about all this situation?

Where can we flee?
.
How do we escape the great wrath of God, which He now appears to be pouring out on this and other former Christian nations?

Listen…“Therefore the law is slacked,
and judgment doth never go forth:
for the wicked doth compass about the righteous;
therefore wrong judgment proceedeth…
And the LORD answered me, and said,
‘Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables,
that he may run that readeth it.'”
Habakkuk 1:4 & 2:2

So, this abbreviated passage by the Prophet, Habakkuk, spells out the problem, as well as the solution.

The problem, as most of us are aware, is that we have been overrun by Chaldeans (unbelievers in the world and “make-believers” in the churches).

ARK DOOR STILL OPEN!

And this is the Good News!

Oh yes, God’s judgments are now beginning to fall all around us!

But God has provided a place of refuge and safety for us and our children!
.
And God has written a great sign in the heavens of the Revelation 12 Woman fleeing from the Revelation 12 Dragon!
.
And in that heavenly scenario is a picture of the place of refuge, in which the woman is fleeing!

The Narrow Gate! This is where we must flee!

And so, O Stranger & Pilgrim, come aboard this Gospel Ship that is to take us, “to the other side”!

Yes, this Heaven-bound Ark is keeping its door open still!
And at this point it is apparent that the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellationis veering toward the Narrow Gate Stars as you can see just to the left of the mountain.

A dark night is best for seeing this.
.
It begins with the Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation going towards these two doors.
.
The doors are each composed of two bright stars.
.
The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.
.
The two stars that comprise the Wide Gate Stars (to the right of the mountain) are the two brightest stars of the Wave of Water (AKA Auriga Constellation) that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here).

The stars that make up the Narrow Gate are about one-third less the width of the Wide Gate.
.
The two bright stars which symbolize the Wide Gate are Capella and Menkalinan.
