Buying & Selling The Gospel

In this incredible age of manufacturing, the earth and what it produces has become the great power behind the affluence and abundance of the present-day world.

.

This is why Revelation speaks of a second Beast, which comes “up out of the earth.” (see Revelation 13:11).

.

And as a result, our industrialized societies have become a giant culture of buying and selling! Yes, shopping has become perhaps, the great pastime of people today.

.

And so, the robust world economy is the result of our love of buying and selling.

.

REVELATION 13 ALLUDES TO PRESENT-DAY

.

Now isn’t it interesting that the book of Revelation speaks of “buying and selling”, in the 13th chapter?

.

Yes, this phrase is mentioned in connection with the 2nd Beast, the False Prophet.

.

Listen… “And he (the False Prophet) causes all…to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.” Revelation 13:17, 18 (for further insight, read… “The Dragon, The Beast & His Image & His Mark” )

.

Now, of course, when most people read the above prophecy, they immediately conclude that the “buying & selling” spoken of, is referring to the literal ability to make purchases, and the literal selling of goods.

And that just might be one correct interpretation.

LAWS NOW BEING ENACTED!

.

Yes, the way in which current events are shaping up, it seems as though we have arrived at the time when it is becoming increasingly more difficult for Christians to buy and sell.

.

We are now seeing the very beginnings of newly enacted laws, which are forcing Christians to choose between their Christian principles, or the ability to conduct business…to “buy or sell”.

.

BUYING & SELLING THE TRUTH

.

But there is another meaning to the concept of “buying & selling”.

.

Yes, if one simply allows the Bible to define its own self, then there is discovered a much greater, spiritual interpretation.

.

And since the Bible is a spiritual book, but often written in allegories, the Bible student needs to compare “spiritual things with spiritual”, adding “line upon line, precept upon precept”, in order to “rightly dissect the Word of Truth”. (see 1st Corinthians 2:13, Isaiah 28:10, 2nd Timothy 2:15_

BUYING & SELLING

.

And so, the first comparable verse is found in Proverbs…

.

“Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.” Proverbs 23:23.

.

This very little verse from the Proverbs really presents a giant concept! And this concept is that God speaks of the Gospel of Christ in terms of “buying & selling”. Yes, the Gospel is spoken of as a commodity which is bought and sold. 

.

Just listen to this next verse… “Ho, every one that thirsts, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.” Isaiah 55:1

.

So here again, the Gospel is spoken of in terms of “buying & selling”.

THE WISE & FOOLISH VIRGINS

.

Now the Parable of the Wise & Foolish Virgins is a perfect illustration of this concept of buying and selling…

.

“Then (at the end) shall the Kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins,

which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

And five of them were wise, and five were foolish…

But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps…

And the foolish said unto the wise,

Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

But the wise answered, saying, go ye rather to them that sell,

and buy for yourselves.”

Matthew 25:1, 2, 4, 8, 9. (condensed for brevity)

.

Now this story of the Wise & Foolish Virgins is a perfect illustration of this concept of buying the truth. The foolish had their Bibles, enlightened by God’s Spirit (symbolized by the oil in their lamps (see Psalm 119:105)).

NO OIL, NO BIBLE

.

But the foolish neglected to hide God’s Word, empowered by God’s Spirit, into their hearts (symbolized by the vessels with oil).

So, when the call came to enter the marriage, the foolish, having no oil, pleaded for the wise to sell them oil, to which the wise replied, “…but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.” Matthew 25:9.

.

So here is the concept of buying and selling the truth, all wrapped up in this wonderful, but fearful parable.

BUYING & SELLING “ITCHING-EARS” GOSPELS

.

And so, as “Strangers and Pilgrims”, we should not be surprised if it becomes increasingly difficult to preach the true Gospel.

.

We shouldn’t be surprised if those world-loving, itching-ears gospels are the only gospels which can be heard in the coming days ahead! 

.

Listen… “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine;

but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers,

having itching ears;

And they shall turn away their ears from the truth,

and shall be turned unto fables.”

2nd Timothy 4:3, 4

.

This above passage foretells that the Church-world would eventually become apostate.

SATAN STEALS KEY OF KNOWLEDGE

.

And so, the “god of this world”, Lucifer, is working tirelessly to prevent the true Gospel from being preached!

.

Yes, as Scripture says, “For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.” Matthew 24:24.

.

And thus, Satan will come with gospels which appear so close to the true, that even the very Elect will be deceived, if possible!

.

And this is the great concept spoken of in Revelation 13, regarding “buying and selling the truth”. This is how Satan will attempt to suppress the truth. And he will not stop until he succeeds, even if he has to prevent true Christians from enjoying economic freedom!

.

But he will not stop until he makes it virtually impossible for the true Gospel to be preached!

.

DELIVERANCE FOR GOD’S PEOPLE

.

But amidst all this bad news, there is discovered some very Good News!

.

Yes, God will ultimately deliver every one of His Elect! And those who now are hiding His Word in their heart, will ultimately be delivered by that same Word! 

.

Listen… “Concerning the works of men,

by the Word of Thy lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.

Hold up my goings in Thy paths,

that my footsteps slip not.”

Psalm 17:4, 5

.

It is the truth that will guide God’s people through our soon-coming trials. And there is still time to begin hiding God’s Word in the heart!

THE BIBLE

.

The Book of Proverbs has many passages about how to make it through the time of trouble. 

.

Listen to just one… “An hypocrite with his mouth destroys his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” Proverbs 11:9

.

This above little verse gives even more insight into the Time of Trouble before us. And by comparing this verse with the many other similar Bible passages, these together will doubtless give an even broader perspective on just what the trial ahead is all about.

And so, let’s get busy studying and praying for knowledge, wisdom, and grace to get the victory over the Beast, and his image.

1st FACE…THE NIGHT WATCHMAN

.

“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see. It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’. Most have seen it. Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see. But let’s concentrate on the first face.) Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth. ‘Shock and Awe’. That’s the look on his face. Sadness too! You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136) The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”. God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well. Listen to the Psalmist…

.

“It (God’s covenant with David [i.e., Christ]) shall be established for ever as the Moon, and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.” Psalm 89:37. Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”. The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives. And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3

WE ARE AT WAR!

But though we may be idle, you can be assured that the Devil’s hands and mind are not idle! All it takes is a quick glance around to see the very visible wake of woe, misery, sin, and destruction by these unseen spirit-beings!

No, no! Don’t imagine for a moment that he and his vast armies of unseen evil-angels are sitting idly by each day! No, rather, the Devil and his fallen angels are extremely busy, 24/7/365, working in the shadows, their woe and deceptive destruction upon this unbelieving world!

Yes, Christians need to fully understand that we are at war with both the visible and invisible armies of Lucifer, now given the office of “Satan”, or “The Devil”. That is, this entire unsaved world, including the unseen realm are at war against Heaven and against Christians!

THE SLEEPING CHURCH ON ENCHANTED GROUND!

But we’ve been walking on what John Bunyan’s book, “Pilgrim’s Progress”, described as “enchanted ground”.

And for the most part, God’s people have been breathing in the narcotic-like mist which rises up daily in this, Lucifer’s very deceptive kingdom of selfish pleasures and pursuits: The World!

So, just what is the problem with us? Why is it so easy for we Christians to fall back into spiritual slumber, even into the spiritual drunkenness of Babylon’s red wine?

Well, this perplexing dilemma can be answered by those two worldly sayings! “Idle hands” and an “idle mind” are, indeed, the Devil’s workshop!

Yes, we give the enemy much power over our lives when we are unwatchfully engaging in vain pleasures and world-loving, ambitious pursuits!

“Redeeming the time, because the days are evil”

And so, the big question is…“How do we keep our hands and our mind busy, so as to not give Satan room in our lives?”

Do we simply work harder at our jobs, night and day?

.

Or do we begin preaching every day on a busy street-corner, handing out religious tracts?

.

Well, those duties might help. But there are much more important ways to keep our hands and mind fully engaged!

100% DEVOTION?

One great truth we must keep in mind is the unseen spiritual battle raging all around us! Yes, we are indeed at war, whether we realize it or not!

3 KEY COMPONENTS TO VICTORY

.

There are three necessary components to achieving and maintaining a constant daily victory in the Lord.

.

1: Contemplating Christ and His Word

.

2: Praying Without Ceasing

.

3: Applying the Word Practically in all Daily Duties

.

.

.

.

.

.

.

1 – CONSTANT CONTEMPLATION OF THE BIBLE

.

First and foremost of all duties is the continuous contemplation of God’s infallible Word, which is called, the Bible. Not only are we to study daily, but we are to do as Psalm 1 admonishes…“But his delight is the Law of the Lord; and in His Law doth he meditate, day and night!”

.

Now obviously, to keep one’s thoughts upon God’s Word will certainly occupy and fully engage the mind!

.

But even though the Psalmist counsels us to meditate upon the Law of God, such a high bar of excellence must also include such things as contemplating the beauty and wisdom found throughout nature.

.

Yes, our love for our Creator/Redeemer can only grow as we behold the marvels of His Creation!

Or maybe to just appreciate the joys and cares of family life.

.

Or even just enjoying watching various animals perform their many cute little antics, which they so often do!

.

These too should be among the various things we meditate upon daily.

.

But that’s not all! In addition to these two ways to contemplate God’s Word, the Lord also counsel us to…“Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed and be still. Selah.” Psalm 4:4

.

Yes, to simply lie in bed and contemplate one’s daily experiences in relation to the life of Jesus, is also an important part of contemplating God’s Word!

.

Maybe just to think about how we might do better tomorrow.

2 – PRAYING WITHOUT CEASING

.

The second component to keeping the hands and mind from being idle, is to be engaging in ceaseless prayer.

.

But how in the world is ceaseless prayer even possible!?

.

Well, Paul’s writings encourage us to be “continuing instant in prayer” Romans 12:14

.

In other words, ceaseless prayer includes being instant in prayer as we go through our daily tasks. Being quick to pray should be an ongoing activity throughout our day and night! Maybe just to pray under our breath for wisdom and guidance during our job performance!

.

But also, as we behold humanity each day, our heart should silently yearn for their needs, both physical needs as well as their spiritual needs! This too is a form of communion with God, realizing that it is through the power of the Holy Spirit that such thoughts and yearnings of the heart are even made possible!

3 – APPLYING THE WORD PRACTICALLY IN ALL DAILY ACTIVITIES

.

And last, but certainly not least, is the practical application of God’s Law, the Bible, as we go about our day. For example, as we engage in our labor, there will be thoughts which come to us about how best to glorify our Lord in what we do, in what we say, in what we think, and where we go.

.

For example, as we engage in recreation with our children, we silently behold them, lovingly and prayerfully, through the eyes of Jesus…

.

Or as we sit with them around the dinner table, we engage them in light-hearted and wholesome, uplifting conversation…

.

Or perhaps, to talk with them about the various aspects of nature…

.

Or sing with them at “Family Worship Hour”!

.

Such practical applications of the Word as these little admonishments are actually the product of the Holy Spirit’s prodding. This too is communion with God!

PERFECT PEACE IN THE MIDST of THE STORM

And whether at work, or at recreation with our family, or at rest, these three duties will help us achieve, not only victory over the Devil, the world, and the flesh, but also to gain perfect peace which Isaiah 26:3 promises…“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed upon Thee; because he trusteth in Thee!”

.

Yes, perfect peace in the likeness of Jesus is our goal, which will absolutely help us to breeze through the coming tempest-winds, which are already beginning to blow!

On the other hand, the Strait Gate (Narrow Gate) is composed of the two brightest stars of the Orion The Reaper’s sickle. God’s Word, the Bible is that sickle. The true Strait Gate is God’s Word, the Bible. As a sickle harvests the wheat, so God’s Word will gather precious souls to Him.

Yes, it has always been the goal and purpose of Satan to indelibly stamp his character upon the hearts and minds of this world’s inhabitants. In a very real sense, the Beast’s mark has always been etched into the forehead (the heart & Mind), as well as the hand (the actions) of every unsaved human who has come into the world.

THE BEAST’S MARK

Listen to the prophecy concerning the Mark of the Beast…“And he (the 2nd Beast, False Prophet) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:” Revelation 13:16

.

Here is the purpose and goal of Lucifer, now called the Devil and Satan: to brand each and every human with his personal stamp of ownership: his fallen, selfish, and hateful character.

Just like the cattle of a ranch owner who brands his own cattle with his special mark, so does Satan brand his people with his own mark.

But listen again to Revelation, Chapter 13…“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ” Revelation 13:15-17

Here in this above passage is revealed a world-wide scenario of totalitarianism, “…AS MANY AS would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And HE CAUSES ALL…that NO MAN might buy or sell, save he that had the mark…” Revelation 13:15-17

2nd Corinthians 4:4

But do not imagine that this great paradigm shift is merely the efforts of humans.

No! Truth-be-told, this is nothing less than the fulfillment of Revelation 13, now being orchestrated by that wily “serpent of old”, Lucifer, Satan, the Devil!

And now we are seeing the hate-filled “god of this world” beginning to operate with leopard-like speed, as he morphs this world into a giant spider-web.

GOOD NEWS!

Well, there is still Good News to be received, in spite of this seemingly horrendous and hopeless situation! Yes, there is deliverance for all those who desire to “escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34

Listen to the entire quote from this passage in Luke’s Gospel… “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

Here is the remedy! To keep ourselves from allowing Satan to wrap us up with all sorts of earthly entanglements, so that we cannot spend the proper time praying, studying, and contemplating God’s Word.

No, we must now instead begin to hide His great and precious promises in our hearts, while at the same time, shutting off as much of the world-loving influences which Satan has been polluting our hearts and minds with!

And we have many promises for all true worshipers of God, such as this…“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ…For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure…” Philippians 1:6 & 2:13

The above verse from Revelation, speaks of God’s Temple in Heaven being opened. But this great constellation the Sagittarius Constellation is actually being the constellation of the Ark of the Covenant. So these two events (the Ark in Heaven seen, and this Ark in the night-sky revealed) go hand in hand simultaneously. There is a great divide in the world today.

It is the political schism called, “the Right and the Left”. This is likewise known as liberals and conservatives.

And yet, the Lord knew all about this long ago.

As a matter of fact, these two political groups were spoken of in the Book of Revelation…“And I beheld another beast (the false Prophet) coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.” Revelation 13:11

SATAN, THE TRUE “FALSE PROPHET”

THE LEFT AND RIGHT HORNS

It’s very interesting to see the two great political factions each seemingly going into the corner of their own respective economic ideologies: the left horn to socialism, and the right horn to capitalism.

Of course, neither of these two ideologies will exist in the New Heaven and the New Earth. And yet, for now it seems that we must suffer these two ideologies to continue for a while longer.

BUYING AND SELLING

But while the two opposing political factions each fight for their own favorite economic system, it must be stated that the Bible is satisfied for now, with capitalism.

.

In other words, the economy of buying and selling is found throughout the Old and New Testaments, while socialism is never promoted nor condoned. Oh yes, socialism has “a form of godliness”, and yet it attempts to help out the needy while being void the Spirit of true love and compassion.

.

Yes indeed, Heaven has a true love and a genuine compassion. But the love and compassion which this world exhibits are void of the Holy Spirit, making it merely a cheap imitation of the true.

DUMBING DOWN OF SCHOOLS

.

Unfortunately, most schools in the former Protestant nations of the west have been filled with educators who groomed students to embrace socialism.

.

This grooming has been going on for many decades. In addition, Satan has dumbed down the school systems to the point that graduates come out of the schools knowing little about history, especially the history of the USA.

.

And because their teachers have successfully indoctrinated them to believe in and embrace the “social justice ideology”, they come out of school as fiery socialists, howbeit, greatly ignorant of the dangers and pitfalls of socialism (and ignorant of many other matters of life, as well).

.

And of course, the socialist leaders of the western nations are very content to have such lopsided ignorance in their schools, since this kind of ignorance makes for loyal supporters of this extremely flawed and failed ideology of socialism.

SO, WHAT’S WRONG WITH SOCIALISM?

Now at this point, someone will stand up and object, saying…“So what’s wrong with socialism? After all, it helps those who are in need of help!”

.

Well, to realize the flaw with socialism one should step back and ask the question…“Well, why does capitalism seem to thrive in this world, while socialistic societies begin to crumble after a few decades?”

.

And the simple answer is that capitalism caters to humanity’s innate selfish nature. In other words, buying and selling and producing goods and services are rewarded in a capitalistic society. And so, when people get rewarded for their own personal efforts, it causes them to strive even harder.

SOCIALISM DIMINISHES AMBITION –

“All the labour of man is for his mouth,” Ecclesiastes 6:7.

One great problem with socialism is that it does not inspire people to work harder. To give financial help to people who did not work for that aid, only causes us to become lethargic and self-satisfied.

.

But also, to take away a hard-working person’s wealth will eventually cause many of them to simply throw up their hands and say, “Why should I work my fingers to the bone only to have my earnings divided up by people who did nothing to earn it? Why don’t I just get on the “gravy train” like everyone else?”

.

And so, in this selfish world, capitalism works quite well, and socialism has failed quite often.

Another problem with socialism is that it forces people to give.

And such mandatory giving always tends to dry up “the spirit of charitable willingness” in people.

But in Jesus’ day, Christians were never forced to give.

Biblical giving was always done on a volunteer basis.

And so, because socialism goes against fallen mankind’s selfish nature, the government must begin to force the general populace to obey and work in this oppressive ideology.

And so as to keep the ever-increasing opposition to this failing ideology, the government must also do away with free speech, causing even more totalitarianism. They simply cannot allow the logic and reason of “free-market” ideas to take root in the hearts of the general populace!

.

And even now, the proponents of social-justice and the Marxist ideology are becoming increasingly intolerant and violent against capitalism and free speech. Acts of civil violence by these anarchists and censorship by the major media are increasing daily in this society.

.

Oh yes, our leaders promise us that socialism will be “democratic socialism” (the people ruling), while at the same time they are turning this society into a totalitarian/authoritarian society!

SOCIALISM: TRIED AND FAILED!

In the nations which have attempted to have pure socialism (aka “Communism”), it inevitably failed. And the strong and powerful ones figured out how to rig the system, to enrich their own selves, while the weaker ones eventually suffered economic oppression.

In other words, mankind’s innate selfishness soon prevailed over social-equity.

.

This innate selfishness is because Earth’s inhabitants have been under the authoritarian rule of “the god of this world”, Lucifer, the King of selfishness (see 2nd Corinthians 4:4). And his antichrist spirit “now worketh in the children of disobedience” (Ephesians 2:2, 3).

.

And so, try as we may, our world cannot and will not ever achieve some sort of fair and equitable government. It is ultimately destined to fail! We are, by nature, self-seeking animals. And we can erect some phony façade for a time (such as socialism). But eventually our selfish nature will prevail and be manifest to all!

And the Bible holds out this great and precious promise…“Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6:38

Yes, to give willingly, out of a heart filled with self-sacrificing love, means more to God than all the treasuries of riches which are forcibly taken from the working class.

And this above verse holds out the promise that God will take care of all the needs of any Christian who gives willingly and generously to others!

CUTTLEFISH: THE ULTIMATE IMPOSTORS!

One of the most amazing creatures ever created is the Cuttlefish! Actually, it is not a fish, but a type of mollusk, like a squid, or an octopus.

The reason why this creature is so incredible, is that it can just glance at its environment and instantly change its body to imitate that environment.

.

For instance, if it wants to hide from its enemies, or lie-in-wait for its victims, next to a sea-weed, it simply changes its color, spots, and shape to imitate that sea-weed. It can even instantly grow leaf-like appendages to imitate certain sea-weeds!

This little creature is nothing short of amazing!

CUTTLEFISH: SYMBOL OF SATAN

Well, God has created this little predator to give us further insight into the inner workings of the kingdom of Satan.

(As this little 26 second video below shows, the Cuttlefish has the ability to paralyze his potential victims, by using his hypnotizing strobe-light effect! Amazing!)

Certainly Satan and his unseen minions love to make themselves invisible! “LOVE NOT THE WORLD!”

But truth-be-told, God, being the Searcher of Hearts, sees how much we inherently love this present, selfish world.

.

And so, He must drive out our trust and love for this evil world of sin, with all its earthy pleasures and proud, ambitious pursuits…“If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him (or her).” (read 1st John 2:15-17).

Thus, God begins a work in many souls, to root out that innate earthly love. This is one reason why God is allowing all this growing hatred and intolerance which we are now witnessing, around the world.

THE NARROW GATE STARS

.

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end (The end of winter being the final scene of this heavenly Gospel story). Orion , the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (sketch to right is Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).

.

And at this point it is apparent that the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation is veering toward the two bright stars, known as Castor and Pollux (sketch to below left). But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.

.

This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark). While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions. It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.

The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars. The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle. The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of the Dragon Constellation’s mouth (for explanation of “Wave of Water”, just click here). The stars that make up the ‘Narrow Gate’ are about half the width of the Wide Gate (see sketch to right).

7 HEADS OF THE BEAST = THE 7 STARS OF REVELATION 12 DRAGON’S WAVE OF WATER

And each of the 7 heads of the beast and each of the 7 bright stars (there are 3 more dim stars) which comprise this wave of water represent the 7 kingdoms which have ruled over the world throughout history:

2. Medo-Persia (Man’s greedy and forceful takeover of God’s territory),

3. Greece (Man’s self-elevating wisdom/strength replacing God’s wisdom/strength),

5. The Church of Rome (Man’s religious totalitarianism ruling over God’s Church-family) ,

Here in extremely concise language, is generally what the 7 heads of Satan’s Antichrist Beast are all about. And the 7 kingdoms are likewise represented by the 7 stars of the wave of water constellation which proceeds forth from the Dragon Constellation’s mouth.

FOOLISH HUMAN PRIDE

Now, as the saying goes, we’ve already gotten ourselves into some “very tall weeds” in this devotional. Yes, these are very complex concepts, to say the least! An entire book could be written on this subject.

Nevertheless, for the sake of brevity, we will simply skip over to the topic of foolish human pride, and how it relates to the 1st head of the beast, and likewise to the 1st of the 7 stars in the dragon constellation’s wave of water (mostly comprised of the Auriga Constellation).

THE GREAT IMAGE OF NEBUCHADNEZZAR

.

When Daniel interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream about a great statue, the symbol of the world’s ruling kingdoms throughout history, the first king depicted was Nebuchadnezzar himself, corresponding to the head of gold.

.

Of course, the head of a person rules over his entire body. And so, the proud King Nebuchadnezzar was ultimately what this great statue image was all about: Human pride!

.

And Nebuchadnezzar was all about pride, foolish human pride! After all, King Nebuchadnezzar had built his glorious kingdom of Babylon, with all its grandeur: gardens and architectural wonders and wine, women, and song! And Nebuchadnezzar was proud of his accomplishments.

He took full credit for all his accomplishments, not realizing that it was actually God who had empowered Nebuchadnezzar to attain to all those achievements.

WE’RE JUST LIKE NEBUCHADNEZZAR!

And isn’t it true that we humans follow closely in Nebuchadnezzar’s footsteps?

Yes, we often pat ourselves on the back for our own personal accomplishments too, don’t we?

Pride is a very great motivator!

.

It is the fuel which drives much of this world’s business engine!

.

It inspires nations and kings to rise up in power!

.

It causes individuals to strive for excellence (and riches and power) in many endeavors!

.

It encourages much of the sports world, as well as most any type of competition!

.

And pride drives much of the entertainment world, as well!

.

And it causes people to beautify their homes and gardens and lands, in effort to impress the neighbors and all who drive by or visit!

.

And pride can even motivate unsaved individuals to become humanitarians, giving their time, energy, and means to various philanthropic causes (often holding back enough wealth to still live in luxury)!

.

Yes, human pride is perhaps the world’s greatest motivator!

GOOD NEWS! A WAY OF ESCAPE NOW AVAILABLE!

Well, there is Good News amidst all this negativity. Yes, any man, woman, or child who desires to throw off this proud Luciferion spirit and become ruled over by Christ’s meek and lowly Spirit can cry out to Him for deliverance. God is just waiting for any soul who is willing to renounce this proud and selfish world.

And Jesus calls out to each of us…“Come unto Me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

Yes, Jesus offers us the Spirit of meekness and lowliness, just as He is meek and lowly.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.” Revelation 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.

.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns. Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7). And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10). So we have this 7 and 10 numbering. And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent. Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

Yes, there is coming a time of trouble of which mankind has never before witnessed! To use a current phrase, one might call it, “The Last Hurrah!”

But what if, just prior to Christ’s Return, God allowed evil to be seen in all its fullness? What if He removed the restraints which have long held back the overwhelming tide of wickedness?

holding the four winds of the earth,

Here we see that the four winds are being held back until the appointed hour when they are unleashed upon the world.

ORION GETS THE VICTORY

Now if you will stay up all night, you will see that the tables turn very dramatically for our three warriors.

This is because, as night progresses, and this constellation group moves to the west, God has designed this threesome to now be in the opposite circumstance. Now it is Orion and his Horse who are atop the Dragon. Now Orion is about to cut off the Dragon’s head with his two-edged sword, while the Horse is stomping on his tail. And of course, there needs to be no explanation, because this picture tells the whole story. Jesus wins in the end! God’s people are victorious at last! No wonder the Bible calls this story…“The Good News”!

that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith,

giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

SATAN’S BRANDING IRON

.

This above passage from 1st Timothy 4:1, 2 reveals the true nature of the Antichrist Beast’s Mark of 666: “…having their conscience seared with a hot iron;” 1st Timothy 4:2

.

Yes, it has always been the goal and purpose of Satan to indelibly stamp his character upon the hearts and minds of this world’s inhabitants. In a very real sense, the Beast’s mark has always been etched into the forehead (the heart & Mind), as well as the hand (the actions) of every human who has come into the world.

THE BEAST’S MARK

.

Listen to the prophecy concerning the Mark of the Beast…“And he (the 2nd Beast, False Prophet) causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:”  Revelation 13:16

.

Here is the purpose of Lucifer, now called the Devil and Satan: to brand each and every human with his personal stamp of ownership: his character.

.

Just like the cattle of a ranch owner who brands his own cattle with his special mark, so does Satan brand his people with his own mark.

IT’S A TOTALITARIAN WORLD!

But listen again to Revelation, Chapter 13…“And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. ” Revelation 13:15-17

.

Here in this above passage is revealed a world-wide scenario of totalitarianism, “…AS MANY AS would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And HE CAUSES ALL…that NO MAN might buy or sell, save he that had the mark…” Revelation 13:15-17

ANTICHRIST FORCES ON THE MARCH!

So when will this totalitarian world-system happen? Or are we now seeing such a totalitarian world beginning to be formed?

.

Oh yes, it seems that right this very minute, the world is going through a metamorphosis in which the entire world is becoming a place which no longer tolerates true biblical Christianity!

.

Laws are being enacted, and even private entities are closing their doors to any group or person whom they do not like.

“THE GOD OF THIS WORLD”

2nd Corinthians 4:4

.

But do not imagine that this great paradigm shift is merely the efforts of humans.

.

No! Truth-be-told, this is nothing less than the fulfillment of Revelation 13, now being orchestrated by that wily “serpent of old”, Lucifer, Satan, the Devil! 

.

And now we are seeing the hate-filled “god of this world” beginning to operate with leopard-like speed, as he morphs this world into a giant spider-web.

GOOD NEWS!

.

Well, there is still Good News to be received, in spite of this seemingly horrendous and hopeless situation! Yes, there is deliverance for all those who desire to “escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34

.

Listen to the entire quote from this passage in Luke’s Gospel… “And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares. For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth. Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.” Luke 21:34-36

.

Here is the remedy! To keep ourselves from allowing Satan to wrap us up with all sorts of earthly entanglements, so that we cannot spend the proper time praying, studying, and contemplating God’s Word.

“GREAT AND PRECIOUS PROMISES!”

2nd Peter 1:4

.

No, we must now instead begin to hide His great and precious promises in our hearts, while at the same time, shutting off as much of the world-loving influences which Satan has been polluting our hearts and minds with!

.

And we have many promises for all true worshipers of God, such as this…“Being confident of this very thing, that He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ…For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure…” Philippians 1:6 & 2:13
