The word, “treasure” is found 90 times in the Bible.

But there are two different treasures spoken of in Scripture: “the treasures of Heaven” (Colossians 2:3), and the “treasures of wickedness”(Proverbs 10:2)
Now, there are many churchgoers who faithfully attend church each week, and yet do not have such a fiery heart of an obsessed treasure hunter.

This indeed, is a very sad situation!

But if one looks to the Northeast in late Summer and into Fall, there is a constellation which God created to be a heavenly picture of the Heavenly Mount Zion.

And it is commonly known as Cassiopeia.

But God has created it to symbolize the true Zion, which is in Heaven.
But if the Reader will go out in August and well into November, this wonderful constellation can be seen in the Northeast night-sky.

But don’t wait too long! Because once it enters the western sky, it flips upside down and can no longer be seen as a mountain.

Now, this constellation is the very same constellation as the Mount of Blessing Constellation in the Valley of Decision Constellation Group. And it represents the favored mountain to which the people of God are to climb.
Just think about all the entertainment devices now available! 50-inch televisions for just a few hundred dollars!

Smart phones and tablets in the hands of our children, which often take our children to places that make us cringe and cry out to God for mercy upon them!

So where are the multitudes in this Mount Zion Constellation?

Well, if you look at this sketch to the right, carefully, you will see an ENTIRE GALAXY making a slow trek up the steep slope toward the summit of one of the mountains.

It is the mountain which is to the north in this sketch.

This is the galaxy commonly called Andromeda.

It is estimated to have possibly a trillion stars!

Is a trillion stars a big enough multitude? Oh yes!

But this mountain in which this multitude of stars is climbing represents a very awesome and wonderful Bible concept.

This mountain in Scripture is known as Mount Zion.

And it is also known as the Mount of Blessing.

It represents that spiritual mountain which Believers must climb, in order to reach the City of God.
Another of the greatest lies in Christendom is that our God will eternally torment all rejecters of His grace!

Of course, this lie is based on a misunderstanding of proper Bible hermeneutics.

Such parables as the Rich Man & Lazarus were taken literally instead of spiritually, thus lending credence to this nonsense that God has some netherworld chamber of horrors …

…a torture chamber in which He will make perhaps 90% of the earth’s inhabitants, past, present, and future, suffer unspeakable horrors through the ceaseless future ions of time!

Well of course, nothing could be further from the truth!
The fact is, our God is a very tender and merciful God, who says of Himself…“Mercy and truth preserve the King: and His throne is upholden by mercy.” Proverbs 20:28

Yes, God’s throne will be upholden by mercy, even as is written…“His mercy endures for ever!” 1st Chronicles 16:34
.
This proclamation is repeated over 40 times in Scripture!

Even the Bible says concerning death and the grave…“There the wicked cease from troubling; and there the weary be at rest.” Job 3:17
And so, how could this statement (“His mercy endures forever”), be true if billions of lost souls will be roasting in agonizing flames without any hope of some letup or release!

Do you see how ridiculous this old catholic doctrine is?

Why, even much of the catholic denomination no longer believes that doctrine!

It was just a convenient doctrine for them during the Dark Ages to justify their torturing their religious and political opponents.

And to whatever degree that we Christians and our children are content to spend time watching television and/or daily news…

Yes, just as God gave those Egyptians bloody waters to drink, so too, we Christians today are drinking in blood whenever we turn on the evening news, it seems!
“I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
I WILL SET NO WICKED THING BEFORE MINE EYES.
I hate the work of them that turn aside;
it shall not cleave to me.
A froward heart shall depart from me:
I WILL NOT KNOW A WICKED PERSON.
Whoso privily slanders his neighbour, him will I cut off:

Everything mentioned in this above passage sounds like your average TV show, doesn’t it?

Wickedness in various forms, turning away from the True Path, froward (evil) hearts, evil people, slanderous remarks, and pride: these are just a short-list of the countless evils seen on daily television!

THE HEARING OF BLOOD

And isn’t it true that television/Internet news is very greatly focused on all the bloody conflicts around the world?

Yes, all these evils are a form of violence!

And they are the very focus of TV news!

And so, dear stranger and pilgrim, just when, oh when will we finally say, “Enough is enough”,and turn off all these channels of sin and violence, and quit drinking in all that blood?

We have such a wonderful and joyful commission from God!

Yes, to look up and fix our gaze upon our Lord and Savior, and Friend, Jesus Christ is our true Great Commission!

And all this is made possible and enjoyable by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of Christ!

And it is high time to look up and lift up our heads on high, to behold our soon-coming Savior, who will save us out of all this selfishness, sorrow, death and mourning which is what this present dark world is all about!

ORION THE SOLDIER

And so now we are amazed to discover that beyond the awesome grandeur of the starry night-heavens, God has actually written the Love of God upon the heavenly scroll!
Orion Constellation can best be seen all winter (but even in August in the pre-dawn hours of morning in eastern skies) traveling east to west through the night, in mid-sky.

To find the seven major stars of Orion (one star on each shoulder and one star on each foot, plus the three stars which make his belt), you can locate on just about any clear night regardless of the blackness of the night.
.
To find Orion’s other stars, you need more star-visibility…a darker, moonless night, and possibly away from city lights.
But those young children who grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon witnessed a curious phenomenon in the many bean fields, which they harvested in the area of the nation.

You see, in the several months during bean-picking season, the same field needed to be re-picked at least three times.
.
But in the last picking of the season, it was evident that the quality of those beans diminished to the point that they were very large, but very empty and hollow!

HEAVENLY OBJECT LESSON

When God created the Moon and the stars, He ordained them to “rule the night” (Genesis 1:16).

The Moon, especially when it is full, can light your pathway through the night, as it reflects the light of the Sun.
.
So too, the Christian is to be a light to the world: to this sin-darkened world.
.
But as the Moon must reflect the light of the Sun, in order to be a light to the world…
.
…so also, must the Christian reflect the light of Jesus, to be a spiritual light to this planet in rebellion.

Listen…“Ye are the light of the world…
Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works,
and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 5:14-16

However, during an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face.

This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord.

Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the“Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

This above passage from Jeremiah speaks of how sin is indelibly inscribed on the tablets of the human heart.

Of course, this passage only speaks concerning Judah.

And yet, “all Scripture is profitable for doctrine, confirmation, correction and instruction in righteousness”. 2nd Timothy 3:16

And since this passage is very much an integral part of Scripture, it is likewise, “profitable for doctrine”, even in New Testament times!

This passage really reveals the bad example of the fathers having its deleterious effects upon the children.

And let’s face it! You or I can tell others that Jesus is coming back very soon.

But if our works testify of our love for this selfish world, then our testimony to others is little more than a joke! A really bad joke!

Listen to 1st John 2:28 & 3:3…
“And now, little children, abide in Him;
that, when He shall appear, we may have confidence,
and not be ashamed before Him at His coming…
And every man that hath this hope in Him purifies himself,
even as He is pure.”

Here is the great work before us! To purify our hearts, and to transform our lives into Jesus’ image, so that we may meet the Lord in peace!
…amusements, hobbies, eating & drinking, buying and selling…
…ambitious-time-consuming-energy-sapping-careers…
…frequent sight-seeing tours…
…lavishing inordinate time & money on our homes & gardens & lands & needless recreational vehicles…
…and the list goes on and on!

Now perhaps these worldly amusements might not be so bad. Especially if we have unsaved family members who desire worldly goods.

But when these diversions begin to multiply (and they usually do), we inadvertently must put our Salvation on the proverbial, “back-burner”!

OUR CHILDREN TWICE AS WORLDLY!

Thus, is fulfilled the warning from Paul…
“But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare,

Oh yes, they may continue to attend some weekly church-service.

But the chances are, our heart is probably not so much into the Gospel, as it is into the world!
Well, the Good News is that we don’t have to wait for Elijah to show up!
.
No, we can begin right now to put away these vain and foolish pursuits, and begin to cry out to the Lord to put in us, “a right Spirit” and give us, “a new heart!” (Psalm 51:10 & Ezekiel 36:26)
.
And who can tell, “if God will turn and repent, and turn away from His fierce anger, that we perish not?” Jonah 3:9
.
And truth-be-told, those who do return to the Lord in heartfelt repentance, and begin to purify their hearts and lives will actually become an army of Elijahs, thus fulfilling the prophecy…“Behold, I will send Elijah before the great and notable day of the Lord…”! Malachi 4:5

1st FACE…THE NIGHT-WATCHMAN
.
“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see.
.
It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’.
.
Most have seen it.
.
Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see. But let’s concentrate on the first face.)
.
Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth.
.
‘Shock and Awe’!
.
That’s the look on his face.
.
Sadness too!
.
You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136)
.
The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”.
.
God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well.
.
Listen to the Psalmist…
…It (God’s covenant with David shall be established for ever as the Moon,
and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”
Psalm 89:37.“
Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”.
.
The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives.
.
And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3
There’s a great deal of speculation about this above passage concerning the return of Elijah, the Prophet, just prior to the “great and terrible day of the Lord”.
.
Will this Elijah be the exact same Elijah who came to Israel back in the days of the kings of Israel?
.
Or will he be another individual, who, like John the Baptist, will come “in the spirit and power of Elijah”?
.
Or has this Old Testament prophecy already been fulfilled by the coming of John the Baptist?
.
And these are the three most popular theories about this most notable human prophet who is to return in these last moments of time.
(But perhaps, the most credible school of thought is that the return of Elijah will be fulfilled by God’s true Elect remnant people who will warn the world of its impending destruction.)
What prophecy enthusiasts must do is read this prophecy more carefully!

…”Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet
before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children,
and the heart of the children to their fathers,
lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”

This prophecy lets us know what the mission of Elijah will be: “And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.” Malachi 4:6
Well, statistics show that young people are leaving the Church in mass numbers, to join in with the same pursuits of the secular world!

And truth-be-told, this cornucopian super-society is filled with so many diversions, pleasures, and ambitious pursuits: and many Christian parents are pre-occupied with such world-loving pursuits!
.
And so, it is no wonder that such a disconnect exists within the family circle!
.
And coupled with the very high divorce rate in the Church, things are not well at all!
“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”
Ephesians 6:4

One great means of counteracting the great overflowing tide of evil in this fallen world is for the parents to make every effort to reflect the loving ways of Jesus to our children.
.
In simpler terms, we must plead daily with God to give us the grace to live with our family in such a way as to show them that Heaven is a place of joy!
.
And the parents need to show much heavenly love for our children…
.

The Christian parents must, kindly, patiently, and gently, guide our children through their childhood in such a way which will cause them to desire, yes, even yearn, to walk side-by-side with us along the joy-filled highways and byways of eternity!

Now, these are some suggestions about how to eliminate ungodly influences as far as possible.

WIDE & NARROW GATES IN THE HEAVENS

And how can I choose the right door?

But before we explore these questions, let’s take a look at why these two sets of stars represent these two biblical gates.

HOW THE GATES RELATE TO ORION & DRAGON

This sketch below is when these constellations are in the eastern sky in early winter (However, this constellation group can even be seen as early as July, in the pre-dawn hours).

In the eastern sky, it’s not so easily seen which gate the Revelation 12 Woman will enter.
On the other hand, the spider and its diabolical trap it spins to catch unsuspecting little bugs, is a fitting representation of how Satan ensnares the souls of unsuspecting humans!
And so, these are just two examples of the millions, no trillions-of-trillions of other metaphors created in nature which have some aspect of the Gospel inscribed in them by their Creator!
And each of its three faces were purposely inscribed by God to teach us about our own self.

Take for instance the second face: the wolf, or perhaps a fox, or a dog.

This wolf-like face with one eyebrow raised gives us a fitting portrait of a scornful, judgmental human.

And it reminds us of the Old Testament sect, known as The Pharisees, or “Dogs…the Concision”. Philippians 3:2

Yes, those Pharisees were a very judgmental group, who took pride that they were very moral and upright, and looked down upon others whom they supposed were not so morally upright.
Well, the fact is, the church-world today is filled with a vast throng of church attendees who fit into this category: being very moral!

As a matter of fact, morality is a great substitute for Salvation…

…because morality’s “correct” behavior usually masks the undone heart-condition of all those who appear to be outwardly righteous, and yet, have not become “born of the spirit”. John 3:8

“I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced;
.
I sat alone because of Thy hand:
.
for Thou hast filled me with indignation…
.
Therefore thus saith the LORD,
.
If thou return (to the Lord),
.
then will I bring thee again,
.
and thou shalt stand before Me:
.
and if thou take forth the precious from the vile,
.
thou shalt be as My mouth:
.
let them return unto thee;
.
but return not thou unto them.”
Jeremiah 15:17, 19

This above passage is a testimony to Jeremiah’s separation from the apostasy which had prevailed in the congregation of God back in his day.
.
Here above, the Lord makes a declaration about His expectations for Jeremiah.
.
But even though this declaration was a harsh exhortation, it did not include any command to return back to a fellowship with “the assembly of mockers” (Jeremiah 15:17).
.
As a matter of fact, God instead commanded Jeremiah to, “return NOT thou unto them! (v.19)
Well, this is a far cry from what today’s churches would have us to believe!
.
And the primary passage used to support this erroneous idea, that Believers must remain in the apostate churches, is found in Hebrews 10:25…
…”Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together,
as the manner of some is;
but exhorting one another:
and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.”
.
Now even though this verse seems to make a strong command to not forsake a regular fellowship with other Believers, it must be compared with other passages which add more information…
.
…such passages as today’s signature passage from Jeremiah…“let them return unto thee; BUT RETURN NOT THOU UNTO THEM.”
…these are just a few of the distractions which caused the Church to become overcharged with, “surfeiting, drunkenness, and the cares and pleasures of this life!” (see Luke 21:34-36)
.
Of course, some of the indulgences mentioned above are not inherently evil by themselves.
.
But together, collectively, these distractions have been combined to the point that the Gospel has taken a backseat to these worldly pursuits.
“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you…”
2nd Corinthians 6:17, 18
.
What a great and precious promise this above passage from 2nd Corinthians 6:17, 18gives!
.
God will be a Father to us, if by faith, we separate ourselves from these aforementioned defilements!
.
And as Jeremiah 15:17, 19 promises, “if thou take forth the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as My mouth:”
.
Yes, God will not only be our Father, but He will begin to bless our evangelistic efforts as well…
.
…as we call others to likewise come out of today’s apostasy and join this end-time exodus as we begin our upward sojourn to the Celestial City of God!

I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
And I looked, and behold a pale horse:
and his name that sat on him was Death,
and Hell followed with him.
And power was given unto them over
the fourth part of the earth,
to kill with sword, and with hunger,
and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.”
Revelation 6:7, 8

This fourth horse seems to be speaking of the death which eventually causes the end of the Church era.
.
The Bible makes the sad prophecy…
“For the time will come
when they will not endure sound doctrine;
but after their own lusts
shall they heap to themselves teachers,
having itching ears;”
2nd Timothy 4:3, 4
.
Here we see that eventually the true Gospel will no longer be tolerated in the churches but replaced by a more palatable gospel which appeals to itching ears.
And of course, we are now witnessing such a compromised Gospel today, as the churches are embracing a prosperity-driven, sensual, gospel message.
.
Now this prosperity-driven gospel takes on several forms: one which is tagged, “Name-it-and-claim-it” preaching, while the more conservative form is called, “The Entrepreneurial Spirit” or “The American Dream”.
.
Either way, the bottom line is “Mammon, Mammon, and more Mammon”!
.
Jesus said…“No man can serve two masters:
for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”
Matthew 6:24
.
Satan has been busily giving this modern world a make-over in which he has turned the former Reformation nations into veritable cornucopian super-societies.

Yes, just about any and every earthly dream is within reach to all those willing to trade their soul for the riches and glory of this present world.
.
And sadly, the Christian world has jumped on board with the secular world in pursuing the earthly treasures and fleshly pleasures of this Sodom-like society!
Now there are a number of other abominations which have crept into the church-world to complete the apostasy within the local congregations…

…abominations in the form of sensual music under the guise of “worship music”, brought on by the recording industry which charges money for the buying and selling of its products.

But also, the so-called Christian television networks have further debased and replaced the true Gospel…

But this fourth horse is not only symbolizing the death of the church-world, but also the death of true-worshipers.

Yes, the goal of each and every true Christian is to die with Christ.

Yes, God’s people finally arrive at the place in which they can no longer endure seeing the woe and destruction of this hedonistic and opulent world, and its devastation effects upon their family.

But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.

Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.

The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).

And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7/10 numbering.

And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).
Listen to the description of this 1st Antichrist Beast…
“And I stood upon the sand of the sea,
and saw a beast rise up out of the sea,
having seven heads and ten horns,
and upon his horns ten crowns,
and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard,
and his feet were as the feet of a bear,
and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
and the dragon (Satan) gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority.”
Revelation 13:1, 2

This beast rose up out of the sea (of nations) in Europe, causing what has been named “The Dark Ages”.
.
The Bible revealed this beast to continue for forty-two months…
.
…of course, this would have to have been forty-two prophetic, not literal months (The “year for a day” principle as revealed in such places as Ezekiel 4:6).
.
This composite beast had various heads, beast-like body components, and horns and crowns, probably all symbolizing the various kings, and kingdoms which have ruled over the earth throughout history.
The rider on this black horse held up scales, which obviously symbolized judgment.
.
And the command was given to not damage the oil nor the wine which symbolized not damaging the Gospel truth of the Word of Truth, revealed in the Bible…
.
…destroying sacred truths which the apostate churches of that era tried desperately to do through those long centuries of persecution of true Christians.
Now as far as how this corresponds to the individual lives of Christians, it can be said that during our Christian pilgrimage on earth that we must each suffer scarcity and persecution brought on us by the Enemy of Souls.

Once again, there is great confusion as to what or who is this second horseman.

Most theologians and Bible teachers believe this to be speaking of Satan.

A few believe it to be speaking of Christ, since Christ Himself testified…“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.” Matthew 10:34
.
But the words, “Come and see” is a great big clue that this is speaking of Christ, since that phrase is repeatedly used concerning Christ and never Satan.
And so, through His Divine Son, war was declared on this planet-in-rebellion.
.
And the Gospel of Salvation would stir up Satan and his angels, causing them to wage a relentless war against Heaven!
.
And so, this rider on the red horse is probably referring to Christ, especially since he had been given “a great sword” which is the Word of God, the Bible! (See Ephesians 6:17, etc…)

Those who desperately attempt to confine the prophecies of Revelation to a literal 7-year period at the very end, must assign this 1st horse to Satan, as he sends out his false gospels.

But the Bible does not support such an idea, since Revelation speaks of this white horse once again in Revelation 19…
“And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse;
and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.”
Revelation 19:11
.
Here is a symbolic portrayal of Christ as He rides triumphantly upon His white horse, the Church in battle.
.
The Bible never speaks of Satan riding a white horse (i.e., a purified Church)!
And so, in Revelation, Chapter 6, Christ goes out with His Gospel, riding His white horse: this white horse representing the purified Church in battle.
.
Now once again, the apostate portion of the Church tries to prove that Satan is this rider on the white horse by saying that, “The bow given is from a Greek word meaning “poisonous”. Hence, this could not be speaking of Christ, since only Satan could possibly be shooting a poisonous bow.”
Well, even if it was truly speaking of a poisonous bow, just listen to this passage from Job 6:4… “For the arrows of the Almighty are within me, THE POISON WHEREOF drinks up my spirit: the terrors of God do set themselves in array against me.”
.
So here in this above verse, Job complains that the Almighty does indeed shoot poison arrows.
.
So even if the apostate portion of the Church’s theory about a poison bow was correct, Job here complains about the poisonous arrows of the Almighty!
.
So that would only further confirm that rider on the white horse is Christ, and not Satan!
The great portrait that God paints in these four horsemen is the four aspects of the Gospel…
.
…four aspects of how Christ goes out to battle the forces of evil which had taken control of this world since the days in which Lucifer first became “the god of this world”. 2nd Corinthians 4:4
.
But these four horsemen are also a metaphorical picture of the four eras of the Gospel throughout the church-age.
.
And this idea will be developed as the other horsemen are discussed in the next three devotionals.
But as with many other Bible prophecies, the Bible student can bring these revelations right down into the personal pilgrimage of each and every true worshiper of God!
.
Yes, the Bible was written for our benefit.
.
And the Book of Revelation is not a mere prognostication about future political and world events.
.
No, The Revelation of Jesus Christ is just that: The Revelation of Jesus Christ, howbeit veiled in types and symbols.
.
And as the next three horsemen are looked at, the Gospel of Christ will begin to shine brighter and brighter through these allegorical types and symbols!

LOCATING THE ARCHER
.
“He hath bent His bow,
and set me as a mark for the arrow.
He hath caused the arrows of His quiver to enter into my reins…”
Lamentations 3:12-14

Orion travels through the night skies, starting about late September in the pre-dawn hours.
.
This 1st office which Orion holds, as an Archer, is fairly easy to see.
.
His bow is pointed and bent as if ready to shoot his arrows.
.
But why astronomers have never noticed this Dragon to his left, is truly a puzzle!
.
It’s so obvious; at least his crocodile mouth is obvious. (Perhaps God is sending the message that Satan (the real Dragon) is so obviously real, and yet so few in this world are ready to recognize him.)

This Archer-Orion corresponds to the 1st Horseman of Revelation, Chapter 6, speaking of a rider with a bow who goes out conquering.
.
And so this article is dedicated to show just what Orion the Archer is speaking of, in Scripture, and how this all relates to you and me. So read on and observe…
The great cardinal rule to understanding the holy Scriptures is this: the entire Bible, both Old Testament and New Testament is only concerned with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

In today’s Christian community, this principle has been lost sight of, to a great degree.
.
Many theologians and Bible teachers do not understand that the Old Testament (and The Revelation) is merely the Gospel of Christ, howbeit veiled in types and symbols.
Now as far as the Four Horsemen of Revelation Chapter 6 are concerned, there is another giant clue to keep in mind when attempting to understand what these four horses and horsemen represent.
.
This clue is given prior to the emergence of each horse, by the announcement by each of the four creatures, “Come and see!”
.
This proclamation given prior to the emergence of each horseman is a statement found a total of 10 times in Scripture.
And again, this little phrase is used in the same way, concerning Jesus as His disciples asked Him…“Master, where dwellest Thou? He saith unto them, ‘Come and see.'” John 1:38, 39
.
And so, in the spiritual context, this little phrase is connected with understanding where Jesus dwells.

After all, the Lord tells us, “I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.” Proverbs 8:12

Yes, Jesus’ dwelling place is found in discovering the knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
And let’s face it! The Book of Revelation names its own self as…“The Revelation of Jesus Christ.” Revelation 1:1

Yes, the Book of Revelation is the revelation of Jesus Christ.
.
And even though this truth has been lost sight of to a great degree in today’s theological circles, the Bible student must keep this always in mind when attempting to understand Christ’s Revelation.
Another great error within the apostate portion of the Church is to assume that because the word “Church” is not found in chapters 4-21 of Revelation, that the Church must have been removed from the earth prior to Revelation’s unfolding prophecies.

Therefore, they conclude that Revelation must only be concerned with literal Jews living at that time.
.
But what they are ignoring is that in the last chapter of The Revelation, the following statement is made…“I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches.” Revelation 22:16
.
This over-arching truth reveals that the prophecies of Revelation are defined as “these things in the churches”.
And truth-be-told, the Church is spoken numerous times in the 18 chapters, howbeit veiled in types and symbols, just like the various symbols found throughout the Old Testament!

For instance, the Old Testament speaks of “Jerusalem”, “Israel”, “Judah”, “My people”, etc…
.
And yet, these names, while referring to the Old Testament people of God, are actually parabolic references to Christ’s New Testament Church, made up of both Jews and Gentiles.

And so, Revelation indeed makes continual references to the Church, yet in types and symbols.
For another example, Revelation, Chapter 12 is centered around a great sign in Heaven, a woman who gives birth to the Christ child.

And so, this woman can only be the heavenly, “Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.” Galatians 4:26
.
Yes, this woman represents the City of God, His eternal Church.
.
And so, even though the name, “Church” is not specifically used in those 18 chapters, God definitely includes the Church, howbeit veiled in types and symbols.

So how could this be!? How could the wicked city of Sodom be in better standing with God, than those who were seemingly much less sinners?

Well, the following verse from Luke’s Gospel answers that question…
“And that servant, which knew his lord’s will,
and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will,
shall be beaten with many stripes.
But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes,
shall be beaten with few stripes….”
Luke 12:47, 48 (Condensed)

So then, the city of Sodom, not having the privilege of receiving all the many truths that had been given to Capernaum, will be beaten with few stripes on Judgment Day…

…while Capernaum (God’s People) will be beaten with many stripes.

Yes, what does all this have to do with today’s Christian community?

Well, for instance, in the Christian community, there is a tendency to look down our noses at the homosexual community, as though they are greater sinners above all others.

But it may just be, that when we are all standing before God’s Judgment throne, we will be surprised to discover that when “weighed in the balances”, we are in greater trouble than they! (Daniel 5:27)

Yes, we might just find that we had not been faithful in investing our time and talents as we should have been.

But God gave us the Apostle, Paul, to be a human example of what He wanted His Church to be!

Yes, Paul exhorted us by saying, “Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ.” 1st Corinthians 1:11

But instead of following Paul’s selfless example of self-sacrificing love for God’s people and dedication to preaching the Gospel…

…we instead began to pursue the same opulence and hedonism which ultimately led to the decline and destruction of Sodom!

Yes, the “Enemy of Souls” deceived us by creating this decadent, cornucopian super-society in which every conceivable earthly pleasure and ambitious dream was achievable…
Oh no, some or even most of these things are not inherently evil by themselves.
.
But when we allow them to pile up, collectively, they begin to overshadow our Divine commission to conform our life into Christ’s image and they become a sinful detour from that right Way in which we must go!
Yes, what can I do about my undone spiritual condition?
.
Well, first of all, instead of looking down my nose at those “sinful Sodomites over there”, I rather need to fall prostrate before God, confessing that my own sins are much greater than theirs!

Because I should know better, while their sins are borne out of ignorance, to a greater degree!

FLEEING WOMAN CONSTELLATION

FROM WHERE &TO WHERE DOES SHE FLEE? WOMAN ROTATES THROUGH THE SEASONS…

This page is about the Big Dipper, also called the Great Bear constellation (Ursa Major ).

However, the ancient pagan cultures did not see this constellation as God intended it to be seen.
.
It is actually a headless woman in childbirth.
.
This is seen in springtime.
.
It is seen in the northern skies.
.
But as the seasons progress, this travailing woman flips upside down, now appearing as a woman with upraised arms like eagle wings who is running (eventually flying, as shown in sketch on right) into the wilderness (westward).
But God has given us great and precious promises concerning this day, such as Isaiah 30:25…
“And there shall be upon every high mountain,
and upon every high hill,
rivers and streams of waters
in the day of the great slaughter,
when the towers fall.”
.
Here is a great and precious promise, howbeit written in allegorical language!
.
God will supply an abundance of living waters for God’s people, as they arrive on those spiritual mountains in the day when their church-world reaches its apostasy!
Well, none of us know exactly how this Time of Trouble will unfold in all its details.
.
But we do know certain truths.
.
For instance, we know that God refers to this day as, “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, which is a great time of wrestling with God. (see Jeremiah 30:6, 7)
.
And frankly, this Time of Trouble is already beginning, even while this work-a-day world carries on their daily business as usual.
But the point of today’s devotional, is to reassure ourselves that whatever spiritual blessings we think we will be missing out on, by leaving our local congregation, will be more than compensated for as we discover that God can indeed, “furnish a table in the wilderness” Psalm 78:19.

Yes, God can certainly provide for all our spiritual needs, both for us, and also for our children in those spiritual mountains!
.
And the fact is, the fellowship down at church probably wasn’t all that great anyway!
.
A whole lot of worldly chatter, sensual music, social events, and a once-a-week, milk-of-the-Word spoon-feeding.
.
And church, to a great degree, was like a social/fraternal order, overspread with a veneer of religiosity.
But the Lord has much greater blessings to offer those who are escaped from Babylon!
.
Because, as we continue reading Isaiah, Chapter 30, verse 26 continues…
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the Sun,
and the light of the Sun shall be sevenfold,
as the light of seven days,
in the day that the LORD binds up the breach of His people,
and heals the stroke of their wound.”
.
Here again is spiritual, allegorical language which reveals that the Elect Church (symbolized by the Moon) will shine with the brightness of the Sun (of Righteousness), Jesus in the day when the towers (churches) fall.
And the “Sun of Righteousness” will shine sevenfold, “as the light of seven days!”
.
In the simplest terms, God’s separated Elect people will be enjoying rich fellowship and communion with Christ seven days of the week, instead of just one morning per week, as they now do! Christ’s light will shine upon them “as the light of seven days!”

Orion, the Dragon, and the Glorious White Horse are beginning to descend into the western horizon (this sketch is the Winter Constellations descending into western horizon. This can actually be seen as early as December, in the pre-dawn hours).
But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan.

The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.
.
This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).
.
While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.
.
It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
The sketch to left shows, the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.

The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.

Many sincere Christians had been duped into believing that God was going to remove His Church from the Earth prior to this great and fearful day, via John Darby’s non-biblical “Pre-Tribulation Rapture”.
But God, in His great wisdom, has reserved this Time of Trouble as a giant chastening and purifying process to root out the love for this fallen, self-seeking world.

And now, the terrifying words of Isaiah, “The sinners in Zion are afraid; fearfulness hath surprised the hypocrites.”

This prophecy concerns us today as we awaken from our spiritual slumber to realize that the “Evil Day” is now upon us!

Listen to this very revealing passage from Psalms…
“They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion,
which cannot be removed, but abides forever.
As the mountains are round about Jerusalem,
so the LORD is round about His people
from henceforth even forever.”
Psalm 15:1, 2

So now, just what are we to do? After all, the Bible commands us to “Flee to the mountains”.

And we are beginning to comprehend that these are the spiritual mountains of God, as this above Psalm reveals.
Now this command to flee to the mountain was a veiled and hidden prophecy concerning the very time we are now in! Lot was commanded to, “escape to the mountain.”
.
And God is just now commanding us, His Elect people, the very same thing…
…”When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation,
spoken of by Daniel the prophet,
stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:)
Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:”
Matthew 24:15, 16

Here above, written in spiritual, allegorical language, is a warning to God’s Elect, to flee to the mountains, when we behold the Abomination of Desolation standing in the Holy Place.

Do you see the remarkable resemblance between this command, and the command given to Lot?

Now, if one closely examines the various aspects of nature, it might be discovered that Christ and His Church are inscribed here and there, throughout the created things.
.
For instance, in music, the two primary notes which form the very foundation of harmonic music are the 1st and 5th notes of a scale.
.
And by comparing this with the Ten Commandments, it is seen that the 1st Commandment is all about God’s supreme position over everything and everyone.
.
And the 5th Commandment is about family. It is all about a child honoring his father and mother.
.
And so, the two fundamental musical notes of the scale (1st and 5th) align with the 1st and 5th commandments: God and His Family, the Church!
Just think about it! God has graciously provided a way of escape out of this doomed planet, into a world which will never end!

And those who finally do enter into that “Promised Land” will live forever in peace and joy and harmony, together with the multitudes of redeemed persons who also have called upon the name of the Lord throughout Earth’s history!

The very first step in finding these many constellations, should be to find the two main constellations: Orion, and the 7 Stars (aka, The Big Dipper).

These two constellations represent Christ (Orion), and His Church (7 Stars).

And just as these are the easiest constellations to find, so too, the first place to begin studying the Bible is the Four Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John).

These four books present Christ and His Church, when He walked the earth, just as Orion and the 7 Stars represent Christ and His Church, as seen up in the heavens.

Then, once you are comfortable finding these two constellations, you can begin to locate the next closest constellations, and so on.

Just yesterday, a grandfather was talking with his adult daughter about her 1st-grader daughter’s “Christian” school.
.
“You’ll never believe this!”, the daughter told her father, “Your granddaughter’s little Christian school is teaching the children how to dance sensually! Isn’t that awful!?”
.
Well, needless to say, this was the kind of awful news which caused the grandfather to weep before the Lord!
And so, in light of this apostate and destitute condition of today’s churches, it should be no surprise to see these kinds of abominations occurring in the Christian schools.
.
Now this is not to indict all Christian schools with encouraging their students to engage in sensual dancing.
.
But if this is going on in so-called conservative Church-schools in conservative little towns, then it is no doubt occurring elsewhere.
.
And this is not the only abomination occurring in Christian schools.
.
It is just one of many! But this one is a very telling one!
With all the various online schooling, many parents may choose to home-school their children.
.
Others can form a cooperative group to take turns home-schooling a small group of children.
.
Some might even simply set their children down with the Bible and begin to teach from its infinite wisdom.
.
Still others might be forced to send their children to some public school, or Christian school.
.
But one thing is for certain. Unless that child lives in a truly dedicated Christian home, then even the best Christian schooling will only have limited influence.
.
But those homes which allow television watching, cannot expect to be under the blessing of God.
Well, this is one more reason why God considers the church-world to be Babylon, the spiritual Harlot Church.
.
And the answer is found only in one direction: to “Come out of her My people, lest you partake of her sins, and receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
.
Yes, the time has come for God’s people to make an end-time exodus away from the apostasy which has brought down the Christian community to the brink of Hell.

And with the help of glamorous spokespeople acting as frontmen and frontwomen, Satan, the Merchant of pride and selfishness, sells his “product” to the unsuspecting multitudes around the world!
And for the most part, the vast multitudes around the world are very content to be a part of this devilish kind of world-order.

Even little children are indoctrinated into this “Babylonian Dream-Machine” culture at a very young age!

NAME YOUR LIFESTYLE!

Using the television and other mass media, “The Prince of this World”, Lucifer, works behind the scenes to romanticize many varied lifestyles, glorifying them before the onlooking world.
.
Yes, just go through the list of television shows, past and present, which have glorified various “cookie-cutter” lifestyles…
.
…TV shows about doctors and lawyers, and teachers, and fire-fighters…
.
…and shows about presidents, politicians, popstars, religious prelates…
.
…even TV shows about drug dealers, cowboys, business tycoons, truckers…
.
…and just about any and every other career and profession one can possibly think of!
.

No, in these last hours of history, he has received permission in his role as “The False Prophet”, to give these mundane jobs and careers a selfishly proud aura about them, glorifying them in the eyes of this fallen world of sinners.

NOT SO GLAMOROUS AFTER ALL

Now of course, many people who choose to enter one of these various “oft-glorified” lifestyles, may do so because they were once mesmerized by watching one or more of these glamorizing television shows.

And more often-than-not, these deceived ones eventually discover the reality of life, that their “glamorous” career-choice was not so glamorous after all (outside of daily bragging rights).
.
No, because this present earth is a world of sin, sorrow, and selfishness, there is no true or lasting glory in these so-called “glamorous” careers.
Even the very crème-de-la-crème of society, such as being “super-stars”, eventually become victims of the worst human folly, degradation and tragic circumstances…
…divorce, drug abuse, jealousy…
…fighting, embarrassing situations…
…loss-of-inspiration, alcoholism, bankruptcy…
…and simply getting old, sick, and wrinkled…
…and these are just a few of the oft-unseen circumstances of those societal elites whom we imagined lived a charmed life!
Well, amidst all this negativity is a wonderful heavenly light, which still shines brightly in this dark and sad world!

Yes, there is an end-time exodus now occurring, in which those of us who have suffered under the cruel hand of the “god of this world”!
.
Yes, we are now being called to “come and follow Me”, as Jesus leads us upward, and out of all the sadness, and the heartache, and madness of this tragic and decaying world!
But the long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, yet can been seen, howbeit with a dark starry night.

COOKIE-CUTTER LIFESTYLES!
.
It almost reminds us of some giant cookie-cutter factory, in which Lucifer, the “god of this world”, bakes tray after tray of human gingerbread men and women, each with their own particular lifestyle.
Yes, for the people of this world, this kind of mass, societal cookie-cutter lifestyle world-order is perhaps, okay.
.
After all, for those who refuse Heaven, this world will be all there is.
.
And this world will become the final resting place for any and every soul who goes down to their grave without an “escape plan”, so to speak!
.
And so, as Brother Paul so aptly put it, “if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.” 1st Corinthians 15:32.
.
As this above verse concludes, if this world is all there is, then people here might as well just have a good time for the next few years, before they die forever, and become eternal dust!
And in stark contrast to these cookie-cutter lifestyles, the Son of God came down from Heaven, to offer His own alternative plan to the citizens of this fallen world.
.
Oh no, it is not really an alternative plan, but Christianity is the ORIGINAL PLAN, which we forfeited back in the original Garden of Paradise.
.
And the unselfish life of Christ stands in utter contrast to the often, “selfish” lifestyles which the world produces!
.
Yes, Christ offers to us a life filled with genuine brotherly love, brotherly kindness, patience, meekness, humility, generosity, long-suffering, faith, temperance, and every other heavenly virtue!
.
And as we behold the life of Christ as revealed in the Bible, we then can behold how superior His life is, when compared to the lifestyles which this world produces!
“…that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.

Now having said all these things, obviously, Christians must work and provide for their own households.
.
And so, while we are still yet “absent from the Lord”, it is only reasonable that we too are required to choose from one of these earthly lifestyles as a means of employment and self-preservation in this world.

LOCATING THE DRAGON of REVELATION 12 CONSTELLATION .

The Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.
.
The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.

This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is the very same constellation that comprises the head of Taurus the Bull.
.
In other words, Hyades is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.
.
And Hyades is the mouth of this Dragon.
.
The tip of the Dragon’s tail is composed of that star-cluster known as The Pleiades. The Pleiades is actually in the shape of a lion’s furry tassel tip of his tail. The sketch below shows this Pleiades as the tail tip.
“Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer:
behold, the Devil shall cast some of you into prison,
that ye may be tried;
and ye shall have tribulation ten days:

In this above verse, is one of the prophecies found in the various seven letters to the seven churches of Asia, recorded in the first few chapters of the Book of Revelation.
.
It speaks of a period of tribulation which the saints of the Church of Smyrna were to endure for a period of ten days.
Now, many or perhaps most theologians rightly interpret these seven letters to also be warnings/praises for the churches throughout the past 2,000 years.
.
Yes, those seven letters speak, not just to those specific churches, but also, to all God’s people throughout the past 2,000-year history of the Church.
.
In other words, theologians understand that those seven churches served as an allegorical representation of the entire era of the Church.
But what most theologians neglect to emphasize is the allegorical nature of the contents of those letters.
.
For instance, when Christ tells this church, that some of them will have tribulation for 10 days, all we need do is to look at the bloody history of the Church to realize that God’s people suffered much longer than 10 literal days!
.
Yes, during those bloody centuries of persecution, God’s people often suffered for years!
.
In dark, dank prison cells. In merciless torture chambers. Or finding refuge in caves and mountain strongholds.
Well, one reason why Jesus only said, “ten days” is to help us to understand that the Book of Revelation is a book of allegorical symbolism.
.
And these seven letters to the seven churches are the foundation of the Book of Revelation.
.
In other words, those seven letters help us to understand just how the other 19 chapters are to be understood: allegorically and symbolically (to a large extent).
Well, if the Bible student searches the Scriptures, it is not long until he or she realizes that the number, “ten” is very significant in several ways.
.
First of all, the number “ten” is most closely aligned with the ten commandments.
.
Thus, this 10-day tribulation symbolizes its very nature…the Commandments of God.
.
And the Book of Revelation substantiates this idea in the following verse…”Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.” Revelation 14:12
.
And while the entire Bible is the Law of God, yet, the Ten Commandments symbolize the entire Bible.
And the other numbers of Revelation also have spiritual significance.
.
And by properly deciphering the many symbols found throughout the Book of Revelation, “comparing spiritual things with spiritual”, it will be discovered that Revelation reveals Jesus Christ, and His Gospel of Salvation! 1st Corinthians 2:13
.
Yes, all those allegorical symbols found in Revelation, are really symbols concerning various aspects of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
.
That is why the opening verse of Revelation says the words…“The Revelation of Jesus Christ”. This title tells exactly what Revelation is all about: Jesus!
But unfortunately, most theologians and Bible teachers merely attempt to interpret much of Revelation by use of history books and newspapers, thus falling into a deep ditch, theologically speaking!
The very Good News is, that God can indeed spread a table in the wilderness.
.
And upon every high mountain of our refuge, God’s people will find an abundance of heavenly Manna, and “rivers and streams of living waters, in the day when the towers fall”. (See Isaiah 30:25…towers symbolizing churches)
.
And yes, in the coming months, many of us may be required to suffer tribulation “ten days”.
.
But if we are faithful, even unto death, God promises to give to us, “a crown of (everlasting) life!” (See James 1:12& Revelation 2:10)

Now as we go back to Revelation 13:2, this Beast is further described…
…”And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard,
and his feet were as the feet of a bear,
and his mouth as the mouth of a lion:
and the dragon gave him his power,
and his seat, and great authority.”
.
Here is described the beast’s composite body, comprised of various beasts, which brings us back to the Book of Daniel, Chapter 7, and refers to kings and kingdoms which rule over the world, even back to Daniel’s day.
And so, since this entire world and its inhabitants are the kingdom of Satan, it could be conjectured that this Antichrist Beast is actually Satan’s kingdom, as he and his fellow evil-angels empower the Beast (his earthly kingdom), to battle against Heaven.
.
And one big clue that we are on the right track is found in Revelation 13:8, which tells us…
…”And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (the Beast),
whose names are not written in the book of life
of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.”
.
This verse seems to indicate that all who ever lived on the earth, from its very inception, have worshiped this beast and the dragon who empowers it.
.
Yes, since the day that Mankind fell from grace, Satan has planted his kingdom on this fallen world’s soil.
Now the general consensus in Christendom is that this beast is some single individual who comes on the scene at the end of history.
.
And the confusion is derived from a misunderstanding of 2nd Thessalonians 2: which speaks of the “man of sin” who takes his seat in the temple of the Lord.
But what most people do not consider is that Lucifer is called the King of Babylon in Isaiah 14, but is also referred to as a “man” in verse 16 of that same chapter!
.
Listen…“They that see thee (Lucifer, the King of Babylon)
shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee,
saying, Is this THE MAN that made the earth to tremble?
that did shake kingdoms?…
that opened not the house of his prisoners?”
Isaiah 14:16
.
Okay, so here is seen that Satan, the King of Babylon is called a man.
.
And thus, when speaking of this “man of sin” who takes his seat in the temple of God, we need not look any further than Satan, or Lucifer, the King of Babylon.
Now, this little devotional has been filled with a great deal of very complicated concepts.

A popular saying over the past few decades has been to say this, “this or that person is ‘clueless’!”, indicating that they do not understand the situation.
.
Or perhaps that they do not understand much of anything!
.
This picture is of a certain character in Bunyan’s, “Pilgrim’s Progress,” named “Ignorance”.
.
Here was a very clueless character who thought he had Salvation, when in truth, he was far away from Salvation!
Now, “Clueless” is a rather derogatory name to tag on someone, and probably should not be used by Christians in everyday life (unless we are referring to our own self).
.
But since this devotional attempts to relate earthly things to heavenly truths, it seems appropriate to highlight a statement made by Jesus to the Church at Laodicea.
.
Listen…“Because thou sayest,
I am rich, and increased with goods,
and have need of nothing;
AND KNOWEST NOT that thou art wretched,
and miserable,
and poor,
and blind,
and naked:”
Revelation 3:16, 17
.
Here we have a Church which believes it is in good standing with God, when in fact, the Lord is about to vomit it out of His mouth!
Now, the more conservative churches will scoff at those obviously apostate, “liberal churches” over there, saying, “Indeed, they are the Laodicean Church!”
.
And truth-be-told, when compared with the liberal churches, the conservative churches actually look pretty good!
.
And yet, when compared with the Bible, even the so-called conservative churches more appropriately fit the description of lukewarm Laodicea.
One of the great sins of today’s church-world is that most of us have been deceived by the world (and by world-loving churchgoers)…
.
…deceived into believing that we Christians can pursue the same opulence and hedonism which this cornucopian society pursues, and still have Christ.
.
Yes, to a large extent, we live in a pleasure-driven, prosperity-minded super-society.
.
And because of the great wealth and state-of-the-art manufacturing of these industrialized/high-tech nations, just about any earthly dream is now attainable!
.
Yes, through the “entrepreneurial spirit”, combined with hard work, one ambitious soul can amass more than heart could wish in just a few years!
.
And for the unsaved world, this may be OK (or not!)
.
But this is definitely not the commission which God has given to His “called-out and separated” people.
Now, do we even need to ask, “Just what kind of ‘foolish and hurtful lusts’ is Paul speaking of?”
.
Well, the short list might be such things as daily indulgence of television, secular radio and secular Internet…
.
…Or it might be excessive social events, pleasure-parties, clubs and organizations…
.
…Or perhaps it may be lavishing our lives with extravagantly adorned homes and grounds and needlessly costly vehicles and plush pleasure-resorts and excessive amusements, various sports, gratuitous shopping…
.
…and all the other various costly and time-consuming pursuits which this opulent and hedonistic culture affords today.
.
In other words, the Christian community (both liberal and conservative), is enthusiastically going after the same opulence and hedonism which led to the decline and eventual destruction of Sodom and its surrounding cities!
.
.
.
.
.
LIFE IS COMPLICATED
.
Now, God is not making a hard-and-fast rule about all these indulgences.
.
He understands how complicated life can be in this Babylonian world.
.
And He fully understands that work commitments and family needs can complicate the choices we must make each day.
.
Nevertheless, the constant desire of the Christian should be to separate ourselves from everything which causes us to put our Salvation on the proverbial “back-burner”.
.
And so, the Christian is constantly praying for a separation from any and every other thing that desires to interfere with our continuous communion with God, and a night & day contemplation of His wonderful Word!
Well, the Good News is, that we have now arrived at the day in which it is written…
…”In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver,
and his idols of gold,
which they made each one for himself to worship,
to the moles and to the bats;
To go into the clefts of the ragged rocks,
for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of His majesty,
when He arises to shake terribly the earth.”
Isaiah 2:20, 21
.
Yes, this is the day that the Lord has appointed for His chosen people to finally cast off our world-loving ways, and flee to Christ in all His heavenly simplicity and goodness!

The time for all dilly-dallying in the world must come to an end!

Think about it! To have a good-paying job, an enviable home in a desirable neighborhood, nice-looking vehicles, a well-dressed family, etc., causes many people to work hard throughout their lives for such status symbols.
.
And those who will honestly assess themselves must sheepishly admit this truth.
Well, let’s return to 1st John 5:19 for the answer…“And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness.”
.
Here is the answer! To become a new creature in Christ!
.
That’s right! God is willing to give us a new heart…
.
…A heart motivated by genuine love!
.
…A heart that longs to be filled with the attributes of Jesus: patience, kindness, unselfishness, charity, long-suffering, faith, temperance, understanding, wisdom, goodness, meekness, lowliness, and such like virtues.
And we joyfully and prayerfully read the Bible each day in hopes of finding more and more about Jesus (via the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit).
.
And we spend our day keeping our wonderful Savior before us in our mind’s eye.
.
And then, with entirely new motives, we can enthusiastically go about our daily labor, with hearts on fire for Jesus, and minds lazar-focused upon His Word!
You see, those who are full of energy and full of projects, quite often live a life of fulfilling earthly obligations and self-imposed projects, often to the bankruptcy of their own soul!
.
Their minds are mostly fixated upon the things of the world!
.
And yet, those who lack physical energy or are bed-fast or incarcerated in some way, may use their down-time to their spiritual advantage!
And with the invention of portable listening devices, it may now be possible to fill their hearts with God’s Word, via the many audio Bibles now available.

This is the beauty of Christianity! It is not just for the busy “Apostle Pauls” of the world, who travel many miles to do the work of the Lord!
This is the easy yoke which God places on His followers. Just get to know God, and His precious promises!

That’s all!

Oh yes, there will be many opportunities to witness to others, either by Word or by deed.

But the main thing is to fill up the heart with God’s “exceeding great and precious promises”, shunning the ungodly and worldly influences we once loved! (2nd Peter 1:4)
So, regardless of how we fight our Good Fight, either horizontally or vertically, we can be victorious and valiant and fully armored soldiers in the Lord’s Army!

The movie, “The Matrix” was a very clever sci-fi production in which an alternate universe became the matrix for a terrifying scenario for those held captive in that alternate reality.
Well, that horrendous year just might have an eerie resemblance to that movie, “The Matrix”, at least as far as us being trapped in an alternate reality, which 2020 seemed to become.
.
People around the world are confounded and perplexed about that crazy year of 2020.
.
Why all the pandemic madness of shutting down the world economy over an unknown virus?
.
And why did the great percentage of inhabitants of this rebellious world seemingly bow down in tacit submission to the oppressive government authorities?
.
Yes, why did the rebellious nations all merely capitulate to this policy of trying to “stop the world from turning”(as one commentator put it)?
.
Just look at the millions of businesses that went under as a result of all the authoritarian tyranny (and millions of businesses are still financially reeling from those lockdowns)!
Well, this world has always been a dishonest world…“yea, let God be true, but every man a liar” Romans 3:4
.
Nevertheless, the year of 2020 became an incredible year in which almost the entire world openly exposed mankind’s deceit, hypocrisy, cheating and abject lies.
.
For example, when masks became readily available, the same authorities who first claimed they were useless now said, “Masks are an absolute existential necessity for the human race!”
.
And then we were all commanded to social distance, avoiding being in crowds.
.
But when rioters and protesters began to move in mobs, these same leaders then said, “Well, these ‘peaceful protesters’ are doing a public service.”
.
But when those of an opposing political party began protesting, this was somehow “unacceptable!”
“Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?” Psalm 94:20
.
This above verse from Psalm 94 reveals how Satan uses man’s laws to oppress and ensnare humans in his deadly game!
.
For example, the authorities became so fixated on vaccines, dismissing other therapeutic medicines which had proven safer, and maybe even more effective in treating the sick.
.
So why did they do this? Why weren’t they willing to try anything which appeared to give hope for the infirm!?

The god of this world (Satan) hath blinded the minds of men…
2nd Corinthians 4:4

Well, to make a long story short, the “god of this world”, Lucifer (now given the titles, “The Devil”, and “Satan”), is preparing this world for Judgment Day.
.
Oh yes, the true rulers of this world, the unseen spiritual authorities have been preparing this world for a very long time for the end-time showdown known as Armageddon…
.
…that dreaded day in which each man, woman, and child must choose either this world, or the everlasting world to come!
.
But the day has come for Armageddon, “The Valley of Decision”, to appear (see Joel 3:14).
” (The unsaved) Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
2nd Timothy 3:5
.
And perhaps, it’s also the hour in which Satan takes off his phony, “form of godliness” mask which he’s been wearing for the last several centuries!
.
Yes, Satan has been deceiving the world’s populace into the lie, the lie that, “there’s much goodness in this otherwise bad world”, when just the opposite is true.
.
And truth-be-told, Satan, most likely, was the true designer of the virus, working through willing human instruments.
But the true reality is, that Satan must prepare the world to receive the Mark of the Beast.
.
And so, the world must be ready to shut off the ability to buy and sell (whether financially or spiritually, or both).
.
And the year 2020 was perhaps, “The Matrix” for this new reality…
.
…a soon-coming totalitarian world of Satan’s making, as he works through the unsaved rulers and even through the unsaved citizens of this world!
.
But there are many others who are scratching their heads in amazement that such a vast throng are so willing to bring in this new dystopian world-order.

Well, the very Good News in all this horrifying report, is that God has graciously allowed this world time to repent of our evil…

Now even though it appears that we now must live in this new dystopian world-order…

…yet, God is graciously allowing us time to fully armor up with His infallible Word, as we prayerfully hide that Word-of-Faith in our hearts, day-by-day!

Actually, these Valley of Decision Constellations appear in early summer in the pre-dawn hours. (Editor of this website has sketched in this constellation group onto this above Wikipedia star-chart.)
During the late 1930’s, came a charming rascal named Douglas Corrigan, who loved aviation, preparing his plane to make a trans-Atlantic crossing.

And he flew that plane from Long Beach California to New York, but was then refused permission to make that trans-Atlantic flight to Ireland, his ancestral heritage.
Well, this gifted mechanic and aviator “accidentally got mixed up” during his flight back to Long Beach, “miraculously” ending up in, of all places, Ireland, the very place he desired to go!

And in spite of all the world-wide attention he received and his very suspect denial, he was tagged with the name, “Wrong-way Corrigan”.
Yes, this biblical concept of falling backward is repeated a number of times in Scripture.

From the priest, Eli, who fell backward and broke his neck…
.
…to the band of pursuers who followed Judas to the Garden of Gethsemane to take Jesus…“As soon then as He (Jesus) had said unto them, I am He, they went backward, and fell to the ground.” John 18:6
.
Yes, each time the phrase “fall backward”, or “went backward” is used, it is in connection with God’s wrath and judgment.
Well, there happens to be a certain sign & wonder, known as being, “slain in the Spirit”, in which some evangelist touches the forehead of a certain churchgoer, causing that person to fall backward to the ground.
.
Well, of course, this so-called miracle from Heaven is reminiscent of the Bible’s accounts of those aforementioned cursed persons falling backward (Eli, the priest, etc…).
And even though the advocates of this phenomenon see this sign & wonder as a great miracle and blessing of God, the fact is, it really aligns more closely with God’s judgment on that person!
.
Because, never in the Bible does falling backward have to do with being blessed. Just the opposite!
.
In the Bible, falling backward was always connected with a curse from God!
.
It therefore is a sign of apostasy.
.
It warns us that those who perform this sign are false teachers, misleading us back into the world, even as is written…“O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:12
Now, just a word of caution. These truths from Heaven are given “for me and me alone!” We are not to look at others with a judgmental eye.

And anyway, we just don’t know how God is working in the heart and life of another individual, nor do we know the true motives of any other individual!
.
So, we are to simply look into our own mirror and realize that, “Christ Jesus came into this world to save sinners. of who I AM CHIEF!” 1st Timothy 1:15
.
Yes, my own heart is filled with enough evil to keep me busy for a lifetime, trying to purify it from my own innate wickedness!

A new constellation has been revealed, as of about May 29th, 2014.

This constellation appears as a serpent (snake). Its body is comprised of stars from the Bootes Constellation, and its jaws are made of the four stars which Babylonians saw as the head of Draco, the Dragon.

It also has a small single star for an eye.

Now in this constellation is a group of five stars, which will be called“The ‘Five Foolish Virgins’ Stars”.
.
These are located on the opposite side of the Glorious Crown of 12 Stars (AKA Corona Borealis), from the ‘Five Wise Virgins’ Stars.

But one big difference between the two is, that The Five Wise are curved around the Glorious Crown, while the Five Foolish are curved away from it!
