And this devotional is focusing particularly on the Book of Revelation, Chapter 9, which speaks of locusts in this manner…
…”And the fifth angel sounded…
And he opened the bottomless pit…
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth:
and unto them was given power,
as the scorpions of the earth have power.
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth…
but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

So, this above passage from Revelation speaks of a composite beast, which arises out of the bottomless pit, and torments men who do not have the seal of God in their foreheads!
The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ is just that: the Revelation of Jesus Christ!

Yes, the Book of Revelation is the Gospel, written in types and symbols, describing how the Gospel of Salvation works in the Church, in history, and within individual Believers!

LOCUSTS NOT BLACK HELICOPTERS

And yet, more often than not, the Book of Revelation is mangled into pieces by those who attempt to look out into the world for the understanding of Revelation!
.
After all, it’s much more exotic to look at locusts in Chapter 9 and try to find something out in the world that resembles locusts, such as black helicopters!
.
But when the Bible student looks into the Bible, then he or she quickly begins to understand what locusts truly symbolize!
.
Listen… “That which the palmerworm hath left
hath the locust eaten;
and that which the locust hath left
hath the cankerworm eaten;
and that which the cankerworm
hath left hath the caterpillar eaten.”
Joel 1:4
.
As this verse reveals (and other verses, too), God uses locusts to symbolize the varied ways in which God destroys the riches of His disobedient people: both spiritual and/or material riches!
John the Baptist came eating “locusts and wild honey”.
.
Yes, this was his true, physical diet! Locusts and wild honey!
.
Oh, perhaps he ate other things as well.
.
You see, locusts and wild honey symbolize the Law and the Prophets!
.
Yes, the law is spoken of as honey in Psalm 19.
.
And so, that’s what the Old Testament prophets were all about!
.
They were given to destroy any hope in the minds of His chosen people, of seeking for, and acquiring earthly riches and desires!
.
And when John spoke, he spoke as an Old Testament prophet, with fiery words and pointing finger, completely arresting the attention of everyone who heard him!
Yes, these are just two of the ways in which God tries to get our attention in hopes that we will begin to…“seek My (God’s) face and turn from their wicked ways!” 2nd Chronicles 7:14
.
And so, this is one small example of how we are to uncover the true meaning of the Revelation of Jesus Christ!

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).
.
It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.
.
Since this constellation has just been revealed, there may be more to this constellation in the coming months.
.
But if you can locate the Goodly Horse in Battle Constellation, then you shouldn’t have too much trouble locating this Rider Constellation, provided you have excellent star-watching conditions.

There are many today who look for Anti-Christ, as if he is one individual to come upon the world-stage in these last moments of history.
.
Many suppose him to be some genius businessman.
.
Others look for some charismatic religious figure.
.
Still others are looking for a totally satanic individual.
.
But if one goes deep into God’s Word, we get a somewhat different perspective on this subject.
.
And so, today’s devotional will touch on this subject, so as to get a little more clarity as to just what or who to look for, as the coming Anti-Christ.
There are many who mistakenly believe that the Antichrist Beast is going to be one singular individual.
.
And because they are so locked into this idea, they tend to ride rough-shod over this passage from Revelation Chapter 17, which explains what this Beast actually is…
.
Listen… “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not;
and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit…
And here is the mind which hath wisdom.
The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.
And there are seven kings…
And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings,
which have received no kingdom as yet;
but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.
These have one mind,
and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.”
Revelation 17:8-13

So, this Antichrist Beast, which, by the way, is in the image of the Dragon of Revelation 12, is a composite of various kingdoms and various kings.
.
This Beast seems to be more closely resembling this present world-system, headed up by that serpent of old, the Devil, and Satan, as he has controlled various kings and kingdoms over the past millenniums of time.
And this is what the Mark of the Beast is actually all about, when you really think about it.
.
This present world-system, and all its loyal citizens comprise Satan’s Antichrist Beast.
.
Listen to Scripture…
…”Little children, it is the last time:
and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come,
even now ARE THERE MANY ANTICHRISTS;
whereby we know that it is the last time.”
1st John 2:18.
.
From this verse it becomes evident that an Antichrist is not some hideous monster. It is not some diabolical Dr. Evil.
.
No, there are many Antichrists.
.
And they are merely the people of this fallen world ruled over by “the god of this world”… Satan!
.
Just listen… “and this is that [spirit] of antichrist…They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.” 1st John 4:3, 5.
.
Okay, so antichrists are of the world, speak of the world, and the world listens to them.
But to this concept, (that an antichrist is merely a worldly person), many might protest, saying, “Satan doesn’t have any power in my life!”
.
Well, just listen to this…
“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world,
according to the prince of the power of the air,
the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:”
Ephesians 2:2.
.
So by this statement, we see that the spirit of Satan, the “Prince of the Power of the Air” now works in the children of disobedience, i.e., the people of the world!
.
And so, when we partake of a worldly spirit, we may just be partaking of the spirit of Anti-Christ.
And just one last proof, that there are no neutral fence-sitters in this world.
.
Listen to Jesus… “He that is not with Me is against Me; and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth abroad.” Matthew 12:30.
.
So this above verse really “spills the beans”, as they say!
.
In other words, Jesus is revealing here that everyone in this world who is not for Christ, is against Christ! In other words if I am not pro-Christ, then I am anti-Christ!
.
And of course, there are many in the Church who, as Jesus said…
“This people draw nigh unto Me with their mouth,
and honor Me with their lips;
but their heart is far from Me.”
Matthew 15:8.

ANTI-CHRIST IN THE MIRROR!

And so, there is really no need to look any further than one’s own mirror, when trying to discover who Anti-Christ is!

The Bible reveals…
“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit,
and the Spirit against the flesh:
and these are contrary the one to the other:
so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.”
Galatians 5:17
.
Yes, as this verse reveals, the flesh, with all its affections and lusts, is very Anti-Christ in nature!
.
The flesh is always clamoring for selfishness!
.
And so, here is the struggle which begins, once the Spirit of God plants His seed within the human heart!
Here is a star-chart from Wikipedia, in which the editor of this site has sketched in this Cross/Scepter Constellation.

The stars in this star-chart are accurately placed, and this Cross/Scepter Constellation stands out in brilliance, among the other stars in the night sky.

The sketch below is the Summer Constellations, as seen when looking west.

Well, if you look just to the south (south is to the left in this sketch) of Arcturus, you will see what appears to be a scepter.
.
But this scepter also appears as a Cross.
.
And this constellation has been named, the Cross/Scepter constellation.
.
It can be seen in January, in the pre-dawn hours.
.
Each night, it appears a little earlier, as it slowly inches its way westward.
.
Finally, this constellation dips below the western horizon, in the fall, not appearing again till January, back in the eastern sky.

Now, as earlier stated, this wonderful prophecy (“there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel”) has its greatest fulfillment in the coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Jesus is represented by that glorious Star.
.
And His death on the Cross is truly His scepter of authority.

So, not only does this counterfeit prophecy teaching method greatly eliminate Jesus out of Revelation, but it also largely eliminates the spiritual soul-purification which true Bible prophecy always accomplishes!

To rightly understand just who Christ is, and how He lived, and what His thoughts are, and why He did so many things differently than the world does things!
And so, the point is, we don’t need to feel guilty about closing ourselves in with Christ!

Listen…“Thou (God) wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed upon Thee,
because he trusts in Thee!”
Isaiah 26:3

To keep our minds fixed on the Word of Christ, hiding all those precious promises in our heart, is what true Christianity is all about! That is the very definition of perfect peace!
Now, we shouldn’t get the idea that we must have the literal image of Christ before our eyes every moment!
.
No, but Christ can be revealed as we behold a little flower, or a butterfly, or hear the innocent laughter of children playing.
.
The image of God’s love and His Gospel is written on all of nature!
.
And to admire the beauty and wisdom and even the occasional fearfulness of nature, can be just every bit as much of what beholding Christ is all about!
And when at work, the Christian is constantly translating the Word of Christinto every aspect of daily labor and on-the-job dealings with fellow workers or clients.
.
Honesty, patience, kindness, faith, temperance, charity, meekness, protectiveness of others, etc., are just some of the virtues which must be translated into practical, everyday situations.
.
This too, is what it means, “to behold Christ!” Because these qualities are what Christ is all about!
“Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.”
Ephesians 5:14
.
Christ is willing to give us all the treasures of love and wisdom and peace and purity and virtue!
.
It only remains for us to decide to fully engage ourselves in the pursuit of that wonderful heavenly Prize: Christ in us, the very essence of perfect peace!

During an eclipse, the Earth passes directly between the Sun and the Moon, preventing that sunlight from shining on the Moon’s face.

This is an incredible object-lesson about when the child of God allows the world to come between him and his Lord.

Like the eclipse, that person no longer reflects the light of Jesus, because his or her love of this dark world of sin has eclipsed the light from the “Sun of Righteousness” (see Malachi 4:2).

A radio Bible teacher was recounting a conversation which he had many years earlier with an elder pastor, who offered a bit of ‘sage advice’.
.
And at some point in the conversation, the elder pastor remarked… “I can fill up my church, by preaching on Bible prophecy, but I can empty the same church by preaching on the Book of Romans!”
.
And then, the elder pastor concluded his complaint by saying… “One thing you’re going to find out in your pastorship is, that most parishioners are more interested in Anti-Christ, than they are interested in Christ!”
Another person said basically the same thing, but in a slightly different manner…“Far too many people who would travel over land and sea, to attend a Revelation seminar, wouldn’t even walk across the street to study about Jesus!”

Yes, the sad truth is, that we current-day Christians mostly have itching ears, and long to have them scratched by spending our time hearing things which, at best, bring little profit to the soul!
.
The modern media has conditioned us to love things which are exciting and titillating. And this has greatly dwarfed our ability to sit at the feet of Jesus and hear His words of life!
.
“The full soul loathes an honeycomb;
but to the hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.”
Proverbs 27:7
.
And isn’t this above proverb so true! When our lives are filled up with so many “other things”, it’s so hard to enjoy things which are plain by comparison!
And so, the Enemy of Souls works around the clock, attempting to distract us, by any possible means!
.
And that is one great reason why we are surrounded by this “cornucopia world”, filled with so many attractions! So many seemingly nice people to be with! So many hobbies to enjoy!
And the fact is, if one studies the Book of Revelation, by searching only the Bible, it will be discovered that those prophecies of Revelation are really about the heart, and our relationship with Christ!

Yes, Revelation is written in veiled, allegorical language, to reveal Jesus Christ, and His Gospel!
Oh yes, the entire Bible is prophetic! But it is prophetic as it reveals Christ and how He deals with sin and sinners!
.
But far too many Bible prophecy seminars seem to divorce themselves from Christ and His Gospel!
.
They don’t understand that the locusts, and scorpions, and horses, and swords and heads and crowns and fire, smoke and brimstone, and all the many other symbols found in Revelation, are all revealed by searching the Bible and the Bible only.
.
And by carefully and prayerfully searching out all the types and symbols, one discovers that they are just what the name of that Book reveals: The Revelation of Jesus Christ!

“ARCTURUS AND HIS SONS”
.
So what does this verse, “there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel”,have to do with us today?
.
After all, this prophecy of Balaam (left) was fulfilled in the coming of the long-awaited Messiah, Jesus Christ!
.
Well, if a person will go out at night, starting in January, and continuing through the warmer months, they might locate the star, Arcturus.
.
This star was spoken of in Job… “Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?” Job 38:32.
.
This star is the host star for this Signs Of Heaven website.
.
And the star, Arcturus, also seems to fulfill the previous verse as well…“…there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel….” Numbers 24:17.
.
As earlier stated, this passage seems to find a double fulfillment, not only concerning Jesus, but also, as we look into the heavens.

This star just happens to lead an entourage of constellations, which span the spring, summer, fall and winter skies, telling the beautiful, wonderful Gospel story.

This is the only known place in all the Earth and heavens in which God has created a pictorial account of the Gospel.

And no, this has nothing to do with the Zodiac.
.
But this revelation showcases the biggest and brightest constellations in the heavens, revealing an entirely different interpretation of those constellations from that of the ancient Babylonian and other pagan culture interpretations.

So, just where did the tradition of constructing church-buildings come from?
.
And it appears that in the late 300’s, buildings specifically designated to be church-buildings showed up.
.
And, as most people know, the world began to merge its pagan customs and idols into the Church.
.
And so, it just makes sense that Christians were now free to live at peace with the world.
.
No longer was the Church hunted down like outlaws! No longer was the Church on the run!
.
And so, with this new “peace treaty”, Christians could now build specially-designed buildings, without fear of having them ransacked, burned, or destroyed by their enemies.
Now as the churches in Europe became more and more apostate, in the mid-to-late first Millennium, A.D., Christians faced new persecution, by false-brethren who controlled those fallen European churches.
.
And as a result, Christians eventually had to either pledge allegiance to the fallen churches or flee to the European mountain strongholds.
.
And faithful Christians continued to suffer through those Dark Ages, by the hand of the apostate churches, as this old drawing illustrates.
.
Thus, during these centuries, for the most part, only the apostate churches could have their grand cathedrals!
“Think not that I (Jesus) am come to send peace on earth”
Matthew 10:34, 36

The second problem comes in, when one considers the question: “Why is there so much peace between Christianity and the World, that these dedicated church-buildings can peacefully co-exist with this Anti-Christ world?”
.
This is the big problem! Why is the present-day Church enjoying all this peace and safety, in a world ruled over by Satan and his countless minions?
.
It reminds one of that saying… “If Satan isn’t coming against you, then maybe it’s because you’re both traveling in the same direction!”
.
Yes, there seems to be a false covenant of peace between the Church and the “god of this world”. After all, how can Christianity live in “peace and safety” in this, the Devil’s world?
The third problem with big church-buildings, is that in order to keep the many seats filled, requires a gifted leader who can keep a large church-building full of people.
.
Yes, now all those marginal Christians, sitting in the pews, must have their itching ears scratched!
.
And so, the tendency is to provide entertainment in the form of comedy, drama, colored lights, attractive singers and speakers, exciting and worldly-sounding music, and many fun social events, etc…
.
And these allurements are combined with prosperity-driven sermons!
.
In other words, churches had slowly devolved into social/fraternal organizations, with a veneer of lukewarm religiosity.
And therefore, it is no wonder that the trumpet is now sounding the clarion call…
.
“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen…
Come out of her, My people,
that ye be not partakers of her sins,
and that ye receive not of her plagues.”
Revelation 18:2, 4

The Revelation 12 Dragon Constellation can be located by finding Orion in winter months.

The Dragon is to Orion’s left, and the Dragon’s mouth is right next to Orion’s shield.

This Dragon’s mouth is the V-like constellation The Hyades Cluster, which is also known as the head of Taurus the Bull.
.
The Dragon’s tail-tip is Pleiades and the lower shaft of his tail is partly of Ariesand Pisces.
.
Then with aid of a dark and starry night, you may begin to connect the mouth and the tail with a very long body in an oval shape.
.
The front and back legs are made of a few stars: the front legs partially of stars from Taurus.
.
The back legs and rear fin are made of 6 stars from the CetusConstellation.

The long oval-shaped body has relatively few stars, but can been seen, howbeit with a dark, starry night.

In other words, the survey found that the majority of Christian men view pornography on a regular basis!

That’s incredible, isn’t it?

And so, with those kinds of percentages, one must conclude that Christianity is in big trouble with God!
So, in answer to today’s signature question, just what is the world’s greatest evangelistic crusade?

Simply put, the greatest evangelistic crusade is when a Christian begins to fully engage in the process of purifying the heart, with the goal of transforming his or her soul into the perfect image of Christ!
.
Okay, so if one is retired and has much time, then do both!
.
And most Christians can give far more money to foreign missions, than we now do!
.
But a Christlike character will bring many more converts into the body of Christ, than any amount of good words will ever do!
.

This tiny article will introduce this third beast-like face, inscribed in the Moon: a swine.

And it will be shown that the three beast-like faces in the Moon, represent the concept taught in the above verseconcerning“the lust of the flesh…the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life”.

It has become apparent that the second face in the Moon, besides appearing as a wolf-like beast, also appears as a Swine.

Let’s explore this concept, for a moment.

When the Christian world became immersed in the so-called “Second Great Awakening of the 1800’s”, many false doctrines emerged, and some are still embraced to this very day.

One such false doctrine handed down to us by one very flawed Bible teacher, one Cyrus Scofield, is proudly named, “Dispensationalism”.

This false teacher actually had the audacity to proudly and presumptuously publish his own Bible, containing his own personal interpretations and his own personal study notes.
And Scofield also diminished the importance of the Old Testament as being somewhat irrelevant to New Testament Believers.

He even somewhat diminished the relevance of the Four Gospels, saying that they were mostly composed of events which transpired prior to the Crucifixion of Christ, therefore were also Old Testament.

FOR EXAMPLE, THE BOOK OF JEREMIAH…

But if the Bible student studies the Book of Jeremiah, it can be discovered to be a prophecy for these last moments in time, concerning the Church.

They are spiritual books which prophesy of the very time we are now in!

And for another example, the various Old Testament laws and ordinances contained in the Books of Moses can also be spiritually discerned to actually be parables about Jesus and His Salvation…

The church-world has become a Babylon of Confusion, because of the many winds of false doctrines which are now blowing from every direction.

And one such false doctrine is the so-called “social gospel”, in which the great emphasis is to supply the physical needs of the world, by the various churches which embrace this idea.
Now to be sure, the Bible sometimes speaks of how Christians should give bread to the hungry, and clothe the naked, and visit those in prison, and let the oppressed go free.

And so, it is very easy to get the idea that this is the essence of the Gospel.
One tell-tale sign that those who proclaim such a gospel, have swerved off the true pathway, and on to a false pathway is this:
…they are more interested in doing such good humanitarian works
than they are in studying the Bible,
and proclaiming the soul-saving Gospel of Christ.

In other words, you won’t find these churches constantly pouring through the Bible, verse-by-verse, to discover more and more about Christ’s character nor shedding ourselves from our worldly-minded ways.
.
No, they are instead more interested in supplying the physical needs of others.
This is our first and foremost duty to God! And to meditate day and night upon the life-giving Word of Christ should never be set aside, and replaced by humanitarianism.
.
And if I attempt to substitute these spiritual duties for the “socialistic gospel”, then it is proof-positive that I have fallen into a false gospel in which there is no Salvation.
And so, it is no wonder that God refers to today’s church-world as Mystery Babylon. It is filled with error and confusion.

And today’s highlighted error regarding the so-called “Social-Justice Gospel” is just one more sign of apostasy within the churches.

NO MONEY FOR ADDICTIONS?

Have you ever passed by someone standing by a street with a sign, begging for a hand-out?
.
And then, as you considered whether or not to stop and give some money, you said to yourself, “Why should I give him money? He’s just gonna go spend it on alcohol!”
But God is the infinite searcher of hearts (Jeremiah 17:10).
.
And He knows the “thoughts and intents of the heart!” Hebrews 4:12
.
And whether or not we realize it, we are being weighed in the balances of the scales of justice!
.
And so, before we deny others some little financial help, perhaps we need to ask ourselves the question: “Am I being a hypocrite, by refusing to give to this person?
.
Am I really so concerned about this person’s alcohol problem?
.
Or is this just a convenient excuse?”
.
The fact is, many of us who get self-righteous on behalf of those alcoholics, begging for a drink, need to consider how much we spend for our own addictions!
And to deny some poor street person some small pittance, to supposedly “save him from his addiction”…
.
…all the while, lavishing money and time on my own addictions and affections is slightly hypocritical, don’t you think?
.
As a Christian, wouldn’t it be more righteous to help out that drunkard with a dollar or two, considering the thousands I spend on my own addictions each year?
Since the writing of this article, the world has become much more dangerous.
.
And with criminal organizations importing dangerous and deadly drugs which only sell for a few dollars, it might be wise to simply give gift cards to street-people, many who have now switched over to these “cheap and deadly highs”.
.
And also, especially women, should exercise prudence and caution about approaching strangers in this crime-ridden world.

This above verse (Isaiah 33:14, 15.) tells us just who will stand in the Day of Judgment: those who shut their eyes from seeing evil, and their ears from hearing violence.

Does television fulfill this Bible verse? Of course not! Just the opposite! Television, to a great extent, extols the works of the flesh: lust, greed, selfishness, anger, pride, revenge, arrogance, sarcasm, comedy, faithlessness, blasphemy, insolence, brotherly-indifference, and a host of similar works of the flesh.

And so, the bottom line to all this is, are we willing to set our earthly desires aside, and fully devote ourselves to the renewing of our mind, and the transformation of our life, into the image and likeness and love of Christ?

Here is another passage which exhorts us to come up higher in our service and devotion to God.
Oh yes, we still have the responsibility to work and provide for the needs and comfort and the happiness of our family.

But by prayerfully keeping our mind fixed on Jesus, whether at work, or at recreation with our family, or while walking or lying down, our prayers, our meditation on His Word can be silently and secretly ascending up to the heavenly throne-room!

This is the easy yoke which the Lord wants us to wear. And through the indwelling of His Spirit, these light burdens become our greatest joy!

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider.
.
Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).

The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

As I was about to enter, I turned the radio dial and heard the tail-end of a conversation between an ex-rock-n-roller-turned-conservative, and a certain right-wing radio talk show host.
.
It was very interesting and, well, frankly I agreed with the moralistic viewpoints being tossed about.
.
Well, to make a long story short, from that point onward, I became a radio talk show junkie.
.
I began listening to these talk shows, day and night.
.
And as a Christian, I could find much in what they were saying that I agreed with.
.
Now, I must say, that I had previously been totally immersed in the Bible.
.
But now, my time was divided with this new addition into my daily mental and spiritual diet.
.
I bought a little radio, and headphones, and went through many days listening to these, “fiery preachers of apple pie, motherhood, God, and the American way”.
.
And so, through the 1990’s, I became torn between my previous love for the Bible and my newly acquired love for politics.
.
After some years, I even went back to watching TV (something I had given up as a new Christian, during the 80’s.)
.
So, I found a politically based news channel, and added that to my daily diet.
.
And even though the conservative party has an element of Christianity mingled in, I nevertheless realized it was a rather nominal type of religion.
.
It was more of a “group-think” moralistic religion, rather than a personal one-on-one relationship with the Lord.
.
I guess the pinnacle of my habitual political bondage came to a climactic scenario, when I got into a heated exchange one sunny afternoon with my neighbor.
.
What I had become was definitely NOT the purity and holiness of Jesus!
.
And the overwhelming conviction came over me, that true Christianity points the accusing finger at my own sinful self as the “chief of sinners“, while politics points at “those people over there” as the great evil.
.

.
ON THE PATHWAY BACK HOME
.
“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness;” Isaiah 35:8
.
And so began the arduous sojourn back to the purity of the Gospel.
.
And I want to tell you, it was a very long and difficult road to recovery!
.
I had become a political junkie.
.
I was an addict.
.
Whenever the news came on, my heart would begin to pound with excitement.
.
But I had to give it up.
.
I knew that if I didn’t, I was just a Christian pretender.
.
But I knew I must overcome.
.
And so, I prayed for victory.
.
I tried to stop listening to all these shows.
.
Radio shows, TV shows, and nightly news.
.
It had all become addicting, and it all had to go.
.
One day I would have victory.
.
The next day, I would be back on it once again.
.
This battle went on for years.
.
And many tears were shed in prayer for my deliverance.
.
.

.
VICTORY CAME
.
Well, finally about 4 years ago (2008 or 2009) the Lord graciously took this addiction away.
.
I pulled the rabbit ears off my TV and shut off the radio.
.
I had wasted 20 years which could have been used for prayer and Bible study.
.
I would no doubt have become much more spiritually mature, if I had only stuck with the Bible for those 20 years.
.
Ah but now, the words of a well-known poet seem so appropriate…“The saddest words by tongue or pen are these, ‘What might have been!” (Whittier)

The story of Job is a very instructive account in many ways.
.
For one revelation, it pulls back the curtain of how God and Satan both interact concerning the affairs of men.
.
And another revelation from this most ancient book is how God puts a hedge (a wall) around the life of His faithful people, to prevent Satan and his fellow evil angels from breaking through.
.
Yes, Job enjoyed God’s protection for many years, prior to his great trials.
And so, this one aspect of the Book of Job, concerning God’s hedge about Job and all his household, becomes, “profitable for doctrine, confirmation, correction and instruction in righteousness”…
.
…so that we might become, “perfect, thoroughly equipped unto all good works!” (2nd Timothy 3:16, 17)
.
In other words, this hedge which God had placed around faithful Job, is a picture of what God does for any and all His faithful followers!
.
Yes, those who prayerfully and faithfully follow Jesus can be confident that God, likewise, has a wall of protection around them and their household.
But tragically, many parents have constructed a door, a gate into God’s wall of protection.
.
In other words, so many of us dedicated parents and grandparents have access to and from the world-loving endeavors, via the gate which we have installed into God’s hedge around us!
.
Yes, most of us can easily go back and forth through this gate, whenever we wish.
.
For instance, if we watch television, or listen to sensual music, then we have just left our wall of protection, and have entered back into the world.
.
And if we allow our young children to watch television, or listen to sensual music, then we have allowed them access back into the world.
.
Or if we have secular friendships, we indeed have installed a gate in which we can easily go back and forth into the world.
.
By violating God’s command to, “Come out from among them and be ye separate…” 2nd Corinthians 6:17, we now have a swinging door to and from the lust and selfish-pleasures of this world.
.

.
GATE GIVES SATAN ACCESS TO OUR HOME
.
The great problem with all this is that the same spiritual gate that we travel through back and forth into worldliness…
.
…is the very same gate which Satan and his evil angels also freely use to gain access into our home!
.
And then it should not surprise us to discover that our spouse and children have little love for the things of Heaven!
.
Neither should it surprise us, should the day come that tragedy strikes one of our family members.
.
After all, by allowing Satan free access via our swinging gate, we will eventually reap the whirlwind, as the saying goes.
.

.
GATE MUST BE REMOVED
.
And so, the whole point of today’s devotional is to encourage us Christians to close up that gate of access, so that the Enemy of Souls can no longer have access to our spouse and children!
.
And grandparents must likewise close up any breach in the wall of God’s protection around our own lives.
.
Because the faithfulness of grandparents will have a great influence upon their grown-up children as well as on their grandchildren!
.
And it is by shunning the many selfish attractions and ungodly influences of this fallen world, and instead prayerfully filling my heart with the pure Word of Truth, that God will place that hedge of protection around my life.
“Dear Lord, Help me to build up the walls around my home, and keep from putting a gate in it, to and from the world, with all its selfish pleasures and proud pursuits…

There are many honest-hearted truth-seekers who are genuinely wondering whether or not the churches today are the Mystery Babylon spoken of in the prophets and in Revelation 17 & 18.
.
And the reader is encouraged to click on and begin reading this series of devotionals called “Come Out of Her, My People”, to gain a fuller understanding of just why God considers today’s churches to be spiritual Babylon.
Now, today’s devotional will focus upon a false and heretical doctrine now being taught in some of the more conservative churches, concerning the Book of Job.
But listen to Job…“But He knoweth the way that I take: when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.” Job 23:10
.
This wonderful verse spoken by Job explains so much of what the Bible is all about: the purification of God’s people!
.
Listen…“That the trial of your faith,
being much more precious than of gold that perisheth,
though it be tried with fire,
might be found unto praise and honour and glory
at the appearing of Jesus Christ:”
1st Peter 1:7
.
So here we see that the trials which Christians must go through, are compared to the purifying of gold, tried in the fire.
.
And so, while the statements of Job’s three “friends” were biblically correct, they did not take into account that purifying process that God sends His people through.
.
And they only saw a wrathful God punishing Job for Job’s wickedness.
For instance, the general consensus in Christendom today, is that the fiery Book of Revelation is only about the punishment of the wicked.
.
But upon comparing Scripture with Scripture, it will be discovered that Revelation is written in types and symbols, concerning the Gospel of Jesus Christ…
.
…it is the revelation of Jesus Christ, howbeit veiled in types and shadows.
And so, it is no wonder that God refers to today’s church-world as Mystery Babylon. It is filled with error and confusion.
.
And God is now calling His people to come out of this City of Confusion, and flee to the spiritual Mount Sion, to take their stand with all those who, “follow the Lamb withersoever He goeth.” Revelation 14:4
.

1st FACE…THE NIGHT-WATCHMAN
.
“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see.
.
It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’.
.
Most have seen it.
.
Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see. But let’s concentrate on the first face.)
.
Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth.
.
‘Shock and Awe’!
.
That’s the look on his face.
.
Sadness too!
.
You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136)
.
The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”.
.
God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well.
.
Listen to the Psalmist…
…It (God’s covenant with David shall be established for ever as the Moon,
and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”
Psalm 89:37.“
Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”.
.
The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives.
.
And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3

When a man, woman, or child begins the Christian sojourn, Satan becomes very nervous, and sets about to derail that neophyte Believer’s walk with the Lord.
.
And one of Satan’s time-tested traps is to convince the Christian that he or she is missing out on certain “necessary and fulfilling” worldly pleasures.
.
And so, this hellish conman, Satan, puts a nagging urge in that unseasoned churchgoer for this or for that worldly pleasure or earthly pursuit.
.
And soon, the Christian begins to think that it is necessary to add some worldly pleasure back into his life, in order to be fulfilled.
Perhaps Satan will tempt us to re-introduce a little wine-drinking…
…or resuming worldly-sounding music…
…or joining some secular club…
…or watching TV…
…or listening to secular talk shows…
…or frequent trips to costly restaurants and cafes…
…or returning to amusements and sports…
…or beginning some ambitious career pursuit…
…or seeking after romance…
…etc., etc…
.
Well, this above list mentions just a few of the earthly cares and pleasures which Satan uses to lure the unsuspecting follower of Jesus back into the world.

SEEKING WORLDLY ADVICE
.
And then, the naïve Christian begins to ask questions of his pastor or the elders as well as other more mature Christians…
…”Is it okay to drink a little wine?”…
…”Is watching sports okay?” …
…”Should I join a singles website?”
.
Now, one great problem with going to humans with such questions as these is this: you are putting your trust in fallible humans and may receive some really bad advice!
.
Especially in this day of church-apostasy, it may even be dangerous to go to church leaders with such critical questions…
Listen… “O My people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths.” Isaiah 3:12
.
Here we see that Satan will come as an angel of light, and transform his ministers into “ministers of righteousness”, to “deceive if possible, even the Elect!” Matthew 24:24
.
And unfortunately, the inquiring Christian is probably going to get a worldly-compromised answer.
There are many in the Church who work overtime to deny the power of Satan, saying… “Oh it’s just our weak sinful flesh! Satan has no more power over us!”
.
Well, yes, the Bible speaks of our weak flesh, and also speaks of Satan’s diminished capabilities over the Christian.
.
But these truths must be balanced with the rest of the Bible…
Yes, these truths must be balanced with the rest of the Bible…
.
Listen…“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
but against principalities, against powers,
against the rulers of the darkness of this world,
against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,
that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day…”
Ephesians 6:12, 13
.
So here we see that our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but with, “…the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places…”
.
Yes, all the naggings, clamorings, and tuggings of the flesh are probably none other than evil angels working on the mind, to cause the believer to fall.

Now having established this fact, let’s get to the main point of today’s devotional…

And just what is the main point to be made in today’s devotional?

Listen to Paul… “But what things were gain to me,
those I counted loss for Christ.
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss
for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord:
for whom I have suffered the loss of all things,
and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,”
Philippians 3:7, 8
.
Now if ever there was a scripture worthy of memorizing, this passage from Philippians is it!
.
Yes, let each and every Stranger & Pilgrim emblazon this passage upon the tables of his or her heart!
Listen…“And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.” Galatians 5:24
.
This above verse from Galatians presents a great truth, which, although mentioned in passing in today’s Church, is not emphasized nearly enough, nor is properly understood.
.
So, as a result, most churchgoers have not yet grasped this great truth.
.
Thus, the churches are filled with still unconverted and still unsanctified world-loving professors of Christ!
“I will run the way of Thy commandments, when Thou shalt enlarge my heart.”
Psalm 119:32
.
Yes, to finally come to the point that we are ready to make it our whole-hearted devotion to overcome the world, the flesh and the Devil, we will now have an eye single to God’s glory.

And now, the Devil’s hold over us will have been greatly diminished!

The Christian should begin to surround his or her own self with holy influences.

For instance, instead of watching less-than-holy people on TV, the dedicated and determined Christian should replace that with, say, an audio-player and earphone, and an audio version of the Bible.

Instead of listening to earthy-sensual, so-called, “Christian music”, try listening to sacred music instead (You never know: those sacred hymns just might elevate our thoughts to a higher degree!)
Psalm 1 gives the formula for the successful Christian life.
.
And one of the aspects found in that Psalm, is to meditate upon God’s Law (the Bible) day and night(“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he meditate day and night.”).
.
This is not a suggestion. This is a command! Not from mere fallible humans, but from God!
.
And the Christian should order his or her life in such a way, so as to allow this command to become a reality.
“Dear Lord, Help me to guard me heart with all diligence! Help me to separate myself from all needless ungodly associations. Help me to fill my mind with Thy Word…

It is located in the southern sky. (Each night it appears a little earlier, slowly inching westward, through the summer, until it finally disappears below the western horizon in November.)

At first, it simply appears as two twin birds flying westward.

But if you look once again, it just might appear as a long box-like figure, with one star on the right, as you face it, and two stars on the left.

Yes, the above passage from 2nd Thessalonians, 2:2 makes very clear… “for that day shall not come, except there come:

1. “a falling away first, and…
.
2. “that man of sin be revealed… 2(nd Thessalonians 2:3, 4)
.
Now here above is seen that two things must first occur, prior to the Day of Christ: “a falling away first”(an apostasy), and the “man of sin be revealed…that he as God sits in the temple of God”.
Well, to find the answer to this question, the Bible is the only place to search for the answer…
.
Listen…“They planted on rocky soil are they, which,
when they hear, receive the word with joy;
and these (who built their house on sand) have no root,
which for a while believe,
and in time of temptation FALL AWAY.”
Luke 8:13
.
So here is seen the meaning of the words, “fall away”. (See also, Luke 8:13, which translates the Greek word, “Apostasia”, into the English word, “forsake”)

FURTHER BIBLE CONFIRMATION

And for further confirmation, the Book of Hebrews says…
…”For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened…
If they shall FALL AWAY,
to renew them again unto repentance;
seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh,
and put Him to an open shame.”
Hebrews 6:4, 6

And also, the words, “falling away” in Strong’s Concordance are actually defined as an “apostasy”, or “a forsaking”.
(see Acts 21:21 & Luke 14:33, concerning the word, “forsake”, which is the same word in the Greek as “falling away” in 2nd Thessalonians 2:3)
Now the next question to be asked is this… “Have we arrived at that day, when the great apostasy foretold in Scripture has already occurred?”

Well, just about any biblically well-versed conservative Christian understands that a great portion of the churches have now embraced a prosperity-driven, worldly-focused gospel.

ARE SOME CHURCHES STILL FAITHFUL?

But these same conservative Christians might also affirm that there are many faithful churches which still teach from the Bible.
.
So then, these so-called conservative Christians will by no means acknowledge a total apostasy in the church-world.
.
They insist that their church is still faithfully preaching the Bible-only!
.
Well, this website gives many proofs and evidences, that the great apostasy has already occurred, both in the so-called “liberal” churches, BUT ALSO in the so-called “conservative” churches.
Now whether the Reader agrees or not concerning the totality of today’s apostasy, it is generally acknowledged that the current apostasy concerns at least half of the churches: those churches who have embraced the prosperity/pleasure gospels.

And so, the bottom line to all this is, we can now finally see the two events transpiring before our very eyes…
.
1. the apostasy of the Christian world…
.
2. and the revealing of just what is and who is the Antichrist Beast (Satan’s world-system), foretold of in Scripture.
After all, Revelation 17 reveals this multi-faceted beast as having various “kings and kingdoms”, which means this beast is a conglomerate of various antichrist kings and kingdoms.

Therefore, those who insist on the Antichrist Beast as being a single individual are ignoring Revelation 17:7, 8
.

7 HEADS, 10 HORNS, & 7 CROWNS OF THE DRAGON
.
“And there appeared another wonder in heaven;
and behold a great red dragon,
having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven crowns upon his heads.”
Revelation 12:3

In Revelation, the Dragon of Revelation 12 is described as having seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
However, the Dragon Constellation up in the night sky does not.
.
But God has faithfully created the wave of water, in such a way, as to illustrate this same concept of the seven heads, ten horns, and seven crowns.
.
Because this wave of water is basically composed of ten stars.
.
The main body of the wave has seven stars (#‘s, 1 thru 7).
.
And the tip of the crest of the wave has the other three stars (#’s, 8, 9 & 10).
.
So, we have this 7/10 numbering.
.
And this gives us a great clue, as to where in the Bible we should look, to find out the riddle as to just what or who do these 7 heads, 10 crowns, and 7 horns represent.

Because, the Bible speaks very much about floods and waters as being associated with Satan (the Dragon).

And why is there so much confusion about Revelation?

The problem is, like so much of the Bible, Revelation is written in types and symbols.
.
Consequently, the greater portion of the Church has been locked out of most all the Book of Revelation!
For instance, if the average evangelical churchgoer wishes to discover what locusts represent in Chapter 9, they cannot simply do a word-search about locusts.
.
If they did, they would soon discover that locusts represent God’s judgment on worldly-minded Christians as their earthly as well as spiritual riches get “eaten up” in various ways.
.
But because they are locked out, they vainly search newspapers and decide that those prophetic locusts will actually be something like black helicopters.
And because of this devilish and non-biblical hermeneutic which prevents them from spiritualizing away all the types and symbols found in Revelation…
.
…as a result, the vast majority of churchgoers cannot discover that Revelation is merely the Gospel of Jesus Christ, howbeit veiled in Old Testament types and symbols.
Now let’s examine another component from this chapter in hopes of understanding this composite beast in Revelation 9: let’s examine, “The Destroyer”, in verse 11…
“And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon.”
Revelation 9:11
.
This above verse from Revelation 9:11 tells us that these composite beasts of the first verses of that chapter, are ruled over by their king, “Abaddon” and “Apollyon”.
.
We are told that these names mean “Destroying Angel” in Hebrew, and merely, “Destroyer” in Greek.
.
In Exodus 12:23, God sent “the Destroyer” to slay anyone who didn’t have the blood of the covenant on their doorpost.

And so, we might conclude that this Revelation 9 “Destroyer” has a name in both Greek and Hebrew for all the reasons given in this article: to destroy both the churches as well as the entire world

So, in conclusion, let it be said that this composite beast in that chapter, as well as his king are concerning God’s chastisement on His people, but also upon the whole world. It is the time of Judgment for all!

And briefly, but enthusiastically, teachers taught of that infamous newspaper magnate, William Randolph Hearst.

And the main thrust of the classroom lesson was that Hearst wholeheartedly engaged in “Yellow Journalism”, as he used exaggerations and sensationalism in his vast and powerful empire of newspapers to promote his own personal political views.

And so, William R. Hearst was tagged with the demeaning title of being a “Yellow Journalist”.
But what was once considered to be a despicable and disdainful form of dishonesty, has now become the industry-standard in today’s politically-divided world!

You can just bet that schoolkids no longer hear lectures about Hearst’s “Yellow Journalism”!
Well, one other great truth is also found in 2nd Corinthians…
“…for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers

. It is Satan’s great purpose to disguise his true nature of evil with a cloak of goodness.

There is a particular debate on the Internet over the issue of whether or not the Bible condones slavery.

And both advocates, a pastor and an atheist, each came armed with Scripture to prove their own position.

Unfortunately, the Pastor seemed to be somewhat outmatched by the atheist.

Consequently, the Pastor could not sufficiently defend his beliefs, and instead, resorted to angry insults.

But what the atheist doesn’t understand, is that the Bible is a supernatural Book.

It is a “Two-edged Sword”.

It cuts to save, or it cuts to destroy.

In other words, the Bible is written as a sort of jigsaw puzzle: in tiny facets of truth.

And to truly understand the Bible, it must be put together, “line upon line, precept upon precept” to discover a balanced understanding about any particular truth.(Isaiah 28:10)

Oh yes, many people have attempted to prove various false doctrines by lifting certain passages out of the context of the entire Bible.

Perhaps the greatest false doctrine concocted by ignoring many scriptures is that heresy which grew out of the European Dark Ages, known as “Eternal Torment”.

And that atheist did the same thing concerning slavery…

…lifting certain passages out of context, which seem to support slavery, while ignoring others which absolutely condemn slavery!

Well, for one thing, God is not looking for the proud, the strong, nor the fearless.

No, He will use those who have no self-esteem, just like those 300 who lapped up water like dogs!

In other words, those who drink in the water of Salvation, realizing that we are no better than dogs, with all our unrighteousnesses, are exactly the type that God can use in this last-day conflict!
Third, the time is coming when God will finally and completely break us of all our worldly affections…

…and all this being symbolized by the breaking of those clay pitchers, as they ran into battle against the Midianites (symbolizing this unbelieving world).

And yet, when the light of Heaven shone down on Paul, he suddenly realized just what a great sinner he truly was!

As a matter of fact, Paul came to discover that…
…”This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation,
that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners;
of whom I am chief.”
1st Timothy 1:15
.
Yes, this great Apostle realized that his heart was, in reality, merely a cesspool of sin!
.
And Paul knew that only the grace of God could clean up that cesspool and make it pure and holy, so it might become a fit house for the indwelling of Christ!
But this above statement by Paul was a testimony to all of us!
.
Paul said… “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation,”
.
In other words, each and every one of us can likewise make the same judgment about our own self: I too am the chief of sinners!
.
I too am desperately wicked and in need of the purifying work of Christ upon the cesspool of my own heart!
.
.

A SURE SIGN OF PERSONAL APOSTASY
.
But one of the surest signs that we have taken our eyes off of Jesus, is when we begin to think that we are doing pretty well, as far as living the Christian life.
.
Yes, many faithful churchgoers are under the notion that their heart is pretty clean!
.
Never would they consent to Jeremiah’s assessment of the heart… “The heart is desperately wicked, and deceitful above all things…” Jeremiah 17:9
Oh yes, as providers for our family, we must work and take care of all necessary obligations each day.
.
But when our lives are fully consecrated to Christ, our eyes will no longer be focused earthward.
.
No, but instead our eyes will be continually looking upward, and our thoughts will constantly be upon His Word!
.
And whether at work, or at play with our family, we will be secretly fulfilling our great commission to be fully engaged in the purification of our heart!
.
And all the while, silent prayers will be ascending Heavenward, no matter where we are, or what we are doing!
.
This is what it means in Isaiah…
…”Thou (God) wilt keep him in perfect peace,
(the person) whose mind is stayed on Thee:
because he trusts in Thee.”
Isaiah 26:3
.
“Perfect peace!” What an incentive to follow Jesus and live fully for Him!
Yes, when we are lazar-focused on the Bible, is when we have that perfect peace!
.
And now that this consecrated Christian has his or her mind fixed upon Christ’s righteousness, the awareness of their own sinfulness will be painfully present!
.
But we must not think that such a self-awareness is too sad.
.
No, because a spiritual focus Heavenward is the gift of God’s Holy Spirit, causing there to be an overflowing joy springing out from within the Christian’s heart!
.
And though the world cannot understand such joy, the true worshiper realizes that it is the gift which manifests itself because of God’s Spirit dwelling and abiding within us!
An ongoing repentance which is, “sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing”
2nd Corinthians 6:10
.
Now if the Christian finds it impossible to perform these aforementioned Christian duties, then there must be a relentless pleading for God’s blessing…
…”Ye adulterers and adulteresses,
know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God?…
Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world
is the enemy of God…
Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you.
Cleanse your hands, ye sinners;
and purify your hearts, ye double minded…
Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep:
let your laughter be turned to mourning,
and your joy to heaviness.
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord,
and He shall lift you up.”
James 4:4, 8-10

This above prescription for spiritual renewal and health should become an ongoing (tearful but also joy-filled) repentance until the Day in which I discover that the Book of James no longer condemns me.

But listen to the New Testament, to the very words of Jesus…
“Think not that I am come to send peace on earth:

For I am come to set a man at variance against his father,
and the daughter against her mother,
and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.”

Here we have the very same truth being presented!

And God is basically telling Christians that they cannot place their confidence in anybody in this world… “for every brother will utterly supplant, and every neighbor will walk with slanders.” Jeremiah 9:4
For example, suppose that you are listening to a friend or family member who happens to be criticizing a third-party, and you give a half-hearted nod of agreement to one of his accusations about that third-party.

And then, your supposed friend goes back to that third-party, telling them that you criticized them, as if YOU were the sole accuser of that third-party!

Or what if you make some private comment about something, or about someone, to a fellow Christian, and then that Christian repeats your comment to others, further embellishing what you actually said to make you look even worse?

The name, “baby” is said to have been derived from the name, “Babel”.

In other words, just as those Babylonians in the days of the building of the Tower of Babel, became confused in their language, so too, babies all speak an unintelligible language!

Listen…“And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one,
and they have all one language;
and this they begin to do:
and now nothing will be restrained from them,
which they have imagined to do…
let us go down, and there confound their language,
that they may not understand one another’s speech.”

Yes, just as no Babylonian could understand one another, once God confused their speech, so also, nobody can understand a baby’s language!
Now one area of great concern to the Lord is how children are being raised, especially in this age of television, radio, and high-tech devices.

The Lord clearly warns Christians…“Be not deceived! Evil communications corrupts good manners (character)” 1st Corinthians 15:33
.
If you haven’t noticed, there is a certain segment of the younger generation which have not been able to properly mature.
.
Just take a stroll down any sidewalk and notice that a certain share of the young people displays a profound immaturity, even into their 20’s and 30’s, and sometimes beyond!
But how can we blame them? After all, the “god of this world” has worked 24/7/365 to create a society that encourages such immaturity!
.
And so much of television and radio caters to that immaturity.
.
Yes, a great deal of television and the recording industry attempt to appeal to the younger generation on a very low level which often hinders them from growing up properly (this web-editor once being also a victim).

BIBLE ENCOURAGES MATURITY
.
On the other hand, the Bible has abundant counsel for parents who want to raise their children to eventually become mature, hard-working adults…
…“Train up a child in the way he should go:
and when he is old,
he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6
.
Or what about this proverb?…
…”Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child;
but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him”
Proverbs 22:15
.
These two proverbs from the wisest of all mortals, Solomon, exhort parents to lead their children early on, into the pathway of responsibility and right thinking.
But since the advent of television, there has grown the erroneous notion that children must be continually fed on the nonsense so prevalent in children’s programming.
.
And such a harmful environment will probably cause the children’s mental growth to be stunted, leading them to continually seek more and more immature TV programs and music for many years to come!
And by then, they also begin listening to harmful “music” which further solidifies their immaturity and irresponsible attitude toward life.
.
And combined with sending them off to public schooling which connects them with a large segment of like-minded peers, we see what we are now seeing in today’s society.
.
And a certain percent of younger folks is unable to handle life situations correctly, often resorting to drugs and alcohol and similar bad choices.

THE HOLY GHOST RIDER CONSTELLATION
.
This newest Signs Of Heaven Constellation (Fall, 2013) is by far the faintest of constellations, but is a very incredible and awesome one in a number of ways (which this article will explain).

It is primarily comprised of the Camelopardalis Constellation (head and upper back), plus about 5 stars from the Cassiopeia Constellation (his leg), plus some random stars.
.
It appears as an outline of a rider. Only the back of his head is detailed.
.
And his back and the back of his legs are also detailed.
.
Both sides of his arm are visible, and his hand is gripping the horse’s mane, and that is detailed by three stars (which are also part of the horse’s mane).
.
The rider is in a position vaguely similar to a race-horse jockey.
.
The two brightest stars in this constellation, are from the Cassiopeia Constellation, and are part of his leg.
.
All the rest of the stars are very faint, and must be viewed on a very starry night.

In addition, there have been various prayer vigils and protest marches concerned with the moral and spiritual decline of this sad society.

Yes, the call has gone out to return to God, in hopes that this great country might be spared from the obvious decay and ultimate destruction which is almost complete.
But if one looks closely at this popular verse from 2nd Chronicles, it will be discovered that mere prayer vigils and protest marches are not enough to cause the Lord to bless this land.
.
What we need to really focus on in this popular verse are the words…
“If My people, who are called by My name,
shall humble themselves and pray,
and seek My face,
and turn from their wicked ways…”
2nd Chronicles 7:14
.
Yes, in this above verse lies the very reason why God’s judgments are now falling on this country.
Most people have no intention of fulfilling this above verse, because it would mean that they must, “go and sell that thou hast and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in Heaven, and come and follow Me!”
.
These are the words spoken by Jesus to the rich young ruler in Matthew 9:16-26.
.
And just as that affluent young man turned away in sadness because of his many possessions and abilities, so too, most citizens have no intention of giving up all, to follow Jesus.
The problem is that Satan, “the god of this world”, has created this modern society with the express purpose of making it a really fun and interesting place.

JESUS CONDEMNED OUR WORLD

And so, the fact is, that most who call themselves Christians would absolutely hate 2nd Chronicles 7:14, if they really fully understood just all that it entails!

They might just take their 2nd Chronicles sign and toss it into the garbage!

After all, isn’t that why we put Jesus on the Cross?

THE NARROW WAY: THE PILGRIM’S PATHWAY

This most amazing phenomenon is seen throughout the winter. Although it can be observed most of the winter, it is seen best when it is the western part of the sky, at winter’s end.
But the Wide Gate Stars are composed of the two brightest stars of the Auriga Constellation, known as the star, Capella, and the star, Menkalinan. The two stars, Castor and Pollux, make up the concept of the Orion’s Narrow Gate Stars.
.
This can even be observed into June in the western sky (for a short time just after dark).
.
While a dark night is best for seeing the Woman Constellation, the 4 stars which comprise the Narrow Gate/Wide Gate Stars can be seen even under mediocre conditions.
.
It begins with the Fleeing Woman of Revelation 12 Constellation (AKA Ursa Major) going towards these two doors.
.
This sketch shows the two doors are each composed of two bright stars.
.
The two bright stars that comprise the Narrow Gate are the two brightest stars of the Orion the Reaper’s sickle.
.
The two stars that comprise the ‘Wide Gate’ Stars are the two brightest stars of the wave of water that comes out of theDragon Constellation’s mouth.

So here are the very words of Jesus, as He warns us against getting caught up in the cares and pleasures of life, only to find ourselves caught up in the snare which is coming upon the whole world!

WATCHMEN ON ZION’S WALLS

In the Old Testament, watchmen were appointed to walk upon the protective, outer walls of Jerusalem, so that they could sound the alarm when an enemy approached…

“Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel:
therefore hear the word at My mouth,
and give them warning from Me.
When I say unto the wicked,
Thou shalt surely die;
and thou givest him not warning,
nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way,
to save his life;
the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity;
but his blood will I require at thine hand.”
Ezekiel 3:17, 18

So here is presented the concept that we are to warn the wicked of the peril of remaining in an unsaved condition.

Here is one of those passages that should strike terror in the heart of every Christian!
Like never before in history, Satan has created this cornucopian super-society to entangle the hearts of Christians to the point that we live carelessly and sleepily in this, “day of slaughter”…

Listen as James scolds us for our hedonistic lifestyles…
“Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth,
and been wanton;
ye have nourished your hearts,
as in a day of slaughter.”

We must be ever cognizant that we are currently living in the “day of slaughter”, as hundreds of thousands of unsaved souls are going down into Christless graves each and every day!
We will swear up and down, that we don’t love this present world, and yet our lives reveal just the opposite!

Yes, we pursue the cares and pleasures of this life with such gusto, that it is evident where our treasure is buried: in the earth! (see Matthew 25:14-30)

HOW DO I WATCH?
.
Now, for those who wish to become watchmen upon the walls of Zion, the remedy is simple.
A daily, ongoing prayer regimen, a daily Bible study, and an hour-by-hour contemplation of God’s Word. This is how we watch, and this is where we watch!
.
And these daily duties are to be combined with a putting away of our cherished earthly idols, such as television, secular radio, and the many other earthly pursuits which crowd out our relationship with Jesus and quench the Spirit of Holiness.

1st FACE…THE NIGHT-WATCHMAN
.
“MOON IS CONFOUNDED”… The first face, a man’s face, is easy to see.
.
It is that proverbial ‘Man in the Moon’.
.
Most have seen it.
.
Even as little children. (The other two faces are not so easy to see. But let’s concentrate on the first face.)
.
Notice that the ‘Man in the Moon’ appears as though he is looking down at the Earth.
.
‘Shock and Awe’!
.
That’s the look on his face.
.
Sadness too!
.
You might even see the tears running down his cheeks. (“Rivers of waters run down mine eyes, because they keep not thy law.” Psalm 119:136)
.
The Moon is spoken of as a “faithful witness”.
.
God’s covenanted law is spoken of as a faithful witness as well.
.
Listen to the Psalmist…
…It (God’s covenant with David shall be established for ever as the Moon,
and as a faithful witness in heaven. Selah.”
Psalm 89:37.“
Notice here that God is comparing His Covenant to the Moon as a “faithful witness”.
.
The Moon reflects the light of the Sun, just as Christians should reflect the light of the Sun of Righteousness, Jesus, who should be in their daily lives.
.
And so the Moon fulfills the verse from Psalms which proclaims… “Praise ye him, Sun and Moon: praise him, all ye stars of light.” Psalm 148:3

The above passage from 1st John explains the three fundamental sins of Mankind:

1. the lust of the flesh,
.
2. the lust of the eyes and
.
3.the pride of life.
.
These three sins were the very three points of temptation which Eve gave into, way back in the garden.

And when Satan tempted Jesus, these same three sins composed the three points of testing.

3 BASIC SINS COMPOSE ALL OTHER SINS
.
Now, the three basic colors, red, yellow and blue, which, when combined in various ways, make all the other colors.
.
So too, when the three basic sins are combined in various ways, all the countless other sins of Mankind are seen.
.
Yes, the sins of Mankind are composed of a combination of these three basic sins…“the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life,”
But in presenting this Mark of the Beast message in the Moon, God needed to illustrate this message with three beasts, instead of two.
.
This was a problem since there were only two beast faces (and one face of a man, the “night watchman”).
.
And so, He took the 2nd face, the wolf-like Pride of Life Beast (top right), and designed it so that it could also appear as a swine (top left), the symbol of the Lust of the Flesh.
.
And so now we end up with three beasts…
.
…the wolf-like beast (top right), representing the Pride of Life…
.
…the forager creature (bottom right) representing the Lust of the Eyes…
.
…and this swine which represents the Lust of the Flesh (top left).
And of course, let’s not forget the 1st moon-face of a Watchman, representing the faithful and watchful Christian (picture left).
.
This 1st face of the Watchman is not a part of these other beast-like faces, and has nothing to do with the concept of the three basic sins of Mankind.
.
Oh yes, this 1st face, which represents true Christians, likewise struggles against these three sins of fallen humanity.
.

A SOMEWHAT COMPLEX MESSAGE
.
So now, this message inscribed on the Moon’s surface becomes somewhat more complex.
.
And so, when we stand back and look at these signs in the Moon, we begin to see a picture of the Church, with all her sins still intact!
.
And when the Moon is full, these various aspects are clearly and brightly exposed.
Now, the really Good News is, that God in His great mercy has allowed just enough time for us to get this selfish world out of our heart!
.
Yes, for those who want to live forever, the door of mercy is still open!
.
And anyone who will, is invited to call upon the Name of the Lord.
.
And by clinging to His divine mercy and grace, deliverance from this evil antichrist world-system, into the kingdom of His dear Son may be realized and is assured.
.
And instead of having these three beasts in his or her heart, the Believer will be represented by the 1st Face, the face of the Christian Watchman!
